Chapter 535.
"Ruthless Visit."

(The Loud House.)
The day after yesterday and we see Jordan Rosato on her bike and making her way to the Loud House. 'Okay, Ryan is having some fishing time with dad, mom is busy at a book club, and also has to check on a friend in the hospital and I have my own plans to check on how Lincoln and the others are doing.'
'I mean, we did strike it good when everyone saw us perform and it seems like we placed down one epic and musical impression for a chance to another summer tour, but that choice is up to the whole band, and those who are part of it. I wonder what Luna is thinking about that option.'
Jordan arrives to the house, and she lets her bike sit by the house, and she's about to knock, but someone opens the door, and that person is Lucy. "Jordan? What the heck are you doing here?"
"Well, I came to check on Lincoln and Luna, I wanna talk to them about the other day and…"
Then Rita comes to view and she has her purse. "Hi, Jordan. Sorry, but we're all headed off to see someone."
Jordan is confused. "Really? Who?"
"Aunt Ruth, she's the sister of my dad, Albert and she wanted us to come over for a nice visit" replied Rita, she then goes to Vanzilla to start her up, and she seems happy and calm about doing this.
But then Jordan sees the upset looks from the rest of the siblings, and Jordan recalls what Lincoln and Luna said to her about Ruthie and how bad it is to always come and visit her, from the cats, all the way to the bad food they eat. Though, Lana is the only one who enjoys the dirty work, but not the harsh conditions of being there for too long, also it gets boring with that lady.
Jordan then looks to Lincoln and Luna. "Oh, hey little dude. Sorry, but we gotta go and… See Ruth." Luna and the sister are all not happy about this.
"Lori is so lucky, she gets to go off to college and not go through with this!" said Lola.
"Don't forget dad" said Lynn. "He's got this big important thing in the restaurant. I don't even think it's an important thing, he might be bluffing the whole deal."
"Let's not forget Lily and Michelle Lewis, she's escorting her to one of her playdates with her friends from the daycare" said Luan. 'What I'd do to spend a day with Benny right now.'
"To think, I would be spending my day here and reading the advanced algebraic knowledge, but no… Here I am, Lisa Loud about to attempt the next trial to survive the unsanitary home, of Ruth" said Lisa.
Lincoln goes towards Jordan. "Sorry, but we gotta go. We'll talk when we get back, and if we survive this nightmare that we call a family/relative visit."
Jordan watches them walk away to their rides, and this makes her upset too, but then she has an idea. "Mrs. Loud, I'd like to come too." This makes them shocked.
"What?! No! Don't do it!"
Jordan walks towards Rita. "Let me tag along and see what Ruth is all about."
Rita is a bit confused about this. "Well, alright then. Come on in Jordan."
Jordan goes into the car of Luna, along with Lincoln and Lucy and they look towards her. "What the heck are you even thinking?" asked Lucy. "Going with us could end you."
"The little spooky sis has a point there, dude" replied Luna. "This is not the right time for you to tag along, you could get seriously hurt, Jordan."
Lincoln seems more concerned than the others. "Jordan, don't do this. Trust me, going there is not worth it and is more of a nightmare to handle. You don't have to…"
Jordan silences Lincoln with a kiss, and soon they depart. "I appreciate the concern, but know that I can handle this. I wanna help deal with this crisis and possibly wake your mom up from whatever happiness she's gaining from this Ruth woman. I can take it."
Luna and Lucy both have doubts, but they have recalled that Jordan and Lincoln have been through so much worse and lived to tell the many tales of their trials against those who would bring harm to their friends and family.
"Well, alright then" replied Lincoln. "But, just try and be careful, and chances Ruth won't let the eagles come into her house."
"But they will stay around and fly the neighborhood in case something bad does happen" said Luna. "Also, do you have a plan in handling with going through what Ruth might hand to you? She might not like you to the fact you are the sole reason why we barely come to see her."
"She's right" said Lucy. "Because of the day you and Lincoln met, we have been only tending to the family from supporting events to aiding in conflicts and taking some much needed vacations. She might not be respectful for the romance you and Lincoln show to each other."
Jordan smirks. "A woman like her doesn't scare me. It only proves she's weak, pathetic and can't do her own work, and also isn't smart enough to get the help she needs, and when I'm done today, she will get the true help she needs. Because it's time to make a stand."
They are impressed at her courage, and Luna has her phone on voicemail so the others in Leni's car could hear this and they too feel like she can handle this, and so they all drive onward to Ruth's home, and with the eagles in flight to make sure nothing goes wrong, yeah, something is gonna go wrong.
(Later.)
They arrive to the home of Ruth Willard, the sister of Albert and the daughter of the now deceased Harriet Willard, and they all get out of their rides and walk towards the house. Lucy then sees something at the windows. "Looks like they know we're here."
The others spot the cats looking at them, and the eagles sit onto the roof of the cars and don't like this either and this also angers the cats seeing the eagles. "This will not end well for anyone" said Lisa.
"Alright kids, enough of that" said Rita. "Let's go and see Ruth, who here is happy to see her?"
None of them respond and just cross their arms, Rita sighs. "Guys, come on. She's family and we have to be there for…." When she knocks on the door, Ruth opens it and the cats come out, but the loud kids and Jordan dodge past them all.
"What the heck dude?!" Luna grabs Lincoln and Jordan and she manages to evade the cats leaving the house.
Ruth sees this and sighs. "They'll be back home, they always do." She then sees the family. "Rita, kids. Good to see you all…. And what is she doing here?" She refers to Jordan.
Luna speaks for her. "Jordan is here because she wants to see the whole dealio with you, and all of us."
Ruth crosses her arms. "Well, from what I recall, this visit is for family only and is she even family?"
Lincoln intervenes. "She is family, and she will be when the time does come. So, she's tagging along and she chose to, and you can't just tell us to shun someone we've known and trusted for so long."
Ruth didn't like it when someone would talk back to the stuff she would say, and the one thing she doesn't like are total strangers she doesn't know or heard of, and might ruin her way of living. "Fine, I guess she can help with the chores."
"We'll be sure to help make those chores go well, Ruthie." Rita looks to the others. "Come on kids, let's go."
They all sigh in annoyance and follow, with Ruth not pleased about Jordan, she then looks out the door and sees the eagles take off and circle the house. 'Oh great! Those flying turkeys are here! I hate those things.' Ruth then closes the door and she sees the rest of the family not liking her home, as always.
Ruth then hands Rita a list. "These are the chores you and I can work on." She then goes to the kids. "And this is for the rest of you." she hands them one long list of chores.
"This is not gonna be easy for some of us" said Leni.
"She does realize some of us are minors right?" asked Lisa.
Ruth then intervenes. "Enough talk, let's get to those chores and then you guys can have lunch." She then looks to Rita. "Come on now Rita, let's get to the chores and talk, we have a lot to catch up on."
The rest of the louds then go through all the hard chores, and Jordan is confused. "What the heck is wrong with your mom?"
Lincoln sighs. "Because mom and Ruth seem close, and as we recall from what Pop-pop said, Ruth treats her like a daughter because she tends to visit her often and helps in support of her. Why else would she also donate some cash to her, and chances Ruth might be asking her for more, like the many cash we have, and let's hope mom doesn't tell her about the diamonds we all have kept."
Luna then continues. "Pop-pop comes here to try and get her some help, but the subject is changed and they speak about other stuff, which then makes Pop-pop forget what the heck they were talking about, and then comes the part where Pop-pop tries to reason with her to move into Sunset Canyon, or have a nurse to help her…."
"But she keeps doing her tricks?" asked Jordan.
They all nod. "She is cunning and dastardly and we don't know how to stop her madness" said Lisa. "Even I myself have it difficult in trying to…" She ducks from an incoming cat. "Trying to find a way out of this malarchy."
Jordan on the other hand smiles. "Then let me handle the whole…" She then steps aside as two cat's race by. "Whole thing, because I got me a plan." She then secretly deploys something from her pocket, and it is very small and invisible.
(Ruthless chores montage.)
Leni and Luan are busy cleaning the gutters and it's not easy when the cats are constantly going after them, but the eagles are outside and help fend them off, and they continue with their work. They notice Rita is just helping with watering the plants and enjoying some laughs with Ruth.
Lynn and Lucy are handling the trash cleaning, which there is a whole lot of garbage all over the house, and some under the couch and armchair which they need to avoid the cats, and they have to haul the large trash bag, which isn't hard for Lynn.
They notice Rita and Ruth washing dishes and talking about some stuff, and even asking Rita for some extra cash that Ruth could use. They don't notice Butterfree outside watching this and recording with a camera on his head.
Lola and Lana are cleaning the litter box, though Lana doesn't mind, but she has to wear gloves and also wake up her twin since she passed out, then she notices her mom and Ruth by the dining room and talking to each other with some tea.
Luna and Lisa are cleaning the bathroom and it is one messed up place, they begin with the bathtub which is filled with cat fur and same with the toilet, which makes Luna sick to her stomach. Lisa notices Ruth and Rita in one of the rooms and she shows Rita some old things Ruth once had, and they seem to be enjoying this quality time.
Lincoln and Jordan are rubbing Ruth's bunions and Lincoln is dealing with the extra toe, and to ensure of the fact that her feet smell bad, they both have gas masks and Jordan notices that Ruth is just showing Rita her album of cats and then they talk about some stuff that Lincoln and Jordan have been through.
But Ruth changes the subject and asks about the life in the house, and then she asks about the mansion from Michelle Lewis, now this is quite suspicious for her to ask of that. Jordan can see, that Rita doesn't see what's happening in front of her face.
(Nightmarish chores end.)
Later, all of the louds and Jordan are tired from what they had to endure. "I am so tired, which I never ever said those words before" said Lynn. Then she recalls. "Wait, never mind. I did said it once, when we last visited this dump site."
"This place is a nightmare, and not the good kind for me" said Lucy.
"At least we can be grateful this is all over, because my arms are killing me." Leni then sees Luan isn't saying anything and just looks exhausted, they had to clear out even the tightest issues in the gutter.
"So glad that all of it is done, because I wanna go home" said Lola.
"Same, and I should be enjoying this. But dang, I'm as burnt out as Lynn" replied Lana.
"Agreed" replied Lisa. "I could use some other view to my vision so I may never ever have to deal with something as a rancid bathroom. Ruth is obviously aware and dimwitted about the feline hair within her bath tub and toilet."
Luna feels like throwing up. "Dude, don't remind me. That stuff was so gross."
Lincoln looks to his hands, he then wipes them after washing them. "I'm gonna need to wash these again, just to be safe."
Jordan on the other hand is less than pleased by all of this. "Yup, I agree with the rest of you now. This place sucks and that lady is dark as hell."
Then they here Ruth call them and they know what that means. "Alright kids, time for lunch and I got some good food for you guys to try."
They all sigh and feel like leaving, but then Rita comes in. "Now, now kids. We're guests, it would be rude to not accept what Ruthie has for you kids."
"Obviously something expired" said Lisa.
Rita sighs. "Girls, you know it's all she has. So, you just need to try and go with it, she does have tea which is also the other stuff she has left, and the food she has is all she could afford. You know how much responsibility she has in her home."
They are as confused as to what the heck was wrong with their mom. Does she not see the issue at hand?! It's almost like Ruth has her in some kind of dark spell.
Jordan on the other hand is not gonna stand for this, she recalls that they have to eat expired food, and that they don't know what was in there, and she worries more for Lana, because she might get worse if she eats that stuff again. "You know what Rita? That's where I draw the line."
She then walks into the kitchen and the others follow, Rita doesn't know where this is going and she too follows them.
Ruth then brings out a large can of beans and beef and she places a large spoonful of it onto each place, and the food looks… Well, kinda moldy, has white odd blotches and doesn't seem like something anyone could eat.
Ruth then sees Jordan walk in. "Hello there, kid. I have this one special for you." She shows Jordan the bowl of the expired food. "I even added some spice I found."
Jordan sees the spice is actually some form of soy sauce that is no longer edible, since 1807. "Yeah, not gonna happen lady." She then looks around and opens the fridge.
"Get away from there!" Ruth tries to intervene, but Butterfree enters the kitchen and blocks her way. "What the heck?! Giant insect!" The cats try to go after Butterfree, but the eagles come in and block them.
Jordan looks into the fridge and so do the others and see tons of cat food. "There's something else in here." She removes a large stack in the back and they are shocked to see some sodas, baked goods, frozen meals and lots of other meat products all hidden in the back and were bought recently.
Rita is surprised to see this, and then Luna and Leni open the other cabinets and see the expired food, they move that aside and see some stuff for baking, and canned goods that have been around for four days.
Rita is confused, and now upset. Ruth on the other hand looks for a way out of this mess, but she's blocked off by Apollo and Raptor. Rita looks towards Ruth. "Ruth, what the heck is this? I thought you said that you've had it hard leaving the house for groceries, why do you have this stuff?"
Lucy then sees something under the fridge. "Found the receipt." They look to the receipt and see what was bought.
Straight from the nearby High n' Buy: Eggs, chicken, salmon, pork, tuna, hotdogs, bacon, baking soda, syrup, vanilla, pancake mix, beef, bread, canned peas, canned corn beef, apples, mangoes, peaches, pears, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ham, crab, cat food, cooking oil and lamb chops.
Rita looks to Ruth. "Ruth, what is this? Why have you been serving my kids the food you have been keeping since Independence Day? I thought you said you have been eating that stuff ever since? What the heck is going on?"
Ruth backs up, she knows she's in trouble. "Rita, let me explain…."
"No, let me explain!" said Jordan. She then snaps her fingers and the robotic dragonflies sit on her head. "These guys have been watching and hearing everything you have been saying, and so let's play back what you said earlier when Rita wasn't with you."
They then hear the recording the Burst Drones took.
"There, now all I need to do is feed those little scamps this junk, and then I can enjoy my own food, after I have tea with Rita. Then when the time comes for them to leave, I will use what I always use with skills to reason with her into donating more cash to me and then I can rest easy for the next time they can do my work."
"That new scamp seems to be trouble. I can't let her go around snooping, maybe some of this should knock her out for good and possibly have her never ever coming back here again. Why the heck did that boy meet this girl?! Why can't she meet someone who can live up to my standards and leave my business be and whatever I want from them."
"Also, where the heck is that lazy dumb husband of hers, I need his hands to rub my bunions. He seems to be far better with them, some manly guy he was."
The drone then turns it off, and Jordan crosses her arms. "Got anything left to say, Ruthie?"
Rita has her mouth covered and has tears. "What the heck?!" She looks to Ruth in anger. "How could you?!"
Ruth tries to find some way to escape, but then she sees that Luna and Leni are calling someone. "What are you doing?!"
Leni then finishes her call. "We were doing the right thing. Also, they'll be here shortly and the same goes with Pop-pop, they're gonna want to hear what you just said about us and Jordan, and this scam you've been sicking onto us."
Ruth wants to flee, but then Rita holds her arm. "You are not going anywhere you…." But then Lincoln kicks her in the shin and then tries to beat her with the chair, and this causes Luna to grab her brother and Lynn helps as well, since he seems stronger than before.
They can all see how super ticked off Lincoln is. "You wanna put her down?! What the hell is wrong with you?! Let me go! Let me deal with her myself!"
Rita can see that this visit, the many visits… Was all for nothing, and her kids have been caught in the scheme that Ruth laid onto her as well, this was turning bad.
(Later.)
Cops show up, and so does a cleanup crew and animal control. The cleanup crew have found tons of garbage and other useless and corroded junk within the house, and it all has to be removed from the place before it spreads something that could be toxic.
Health inceptors have detected that the food is dangerous, toxic and could kill, and now they worry for the kids, and they brought up some paramedics, but the records from Dr. Kendrick state that they're all healthy, they have suffered nothing from that food. Which is odd.
Turns out, Lisa is the answer to that. She came with a contingency plan and when her family was asleep, she would sneak into their rooms and inject something into them to keep them from being overtaken by the deadly lingering chemicals from the expired food. She literally saved them, and even Lana who thought she was immune.
The cops can now add this further into investigation.
Animal Control managed to catch tons of cast within the house, and thanks to Butterfree. The Butterfly Pokémon, uses sleep dust, and Apollo and Raptor use gust to send the sleeping dust into the house to knock out all of the cats inside.
Animal Control are wearing gas masks and managed to find more than 168 cats, the many other cats hidden were in the attic and hidden in the basement and many are pregnant or have kittens already, and they found more than 18 felines dead, somewhere that they were never ever found.
Ruth has said she had some cats run off and never came back, well they did and they died from the poor living conditions and lack of food for more than the rest of the cats could handle and worst of all, the deceased cats have brought some unwanted insects into the home and now half the felines are infected with parasites.
Which means they have to hose down the house of any parasitic creatures and other harmful diseases.
The cops are going through the recording from the burst drone and Albert is shocked from this, all this time Ruth hasn't been kind to her family, and has been lying this whole time and now he's mad, and worst… She tried to get rid of Jordan Rosato, and her parents and her brother are there, and also Katherine Mulligan and a camera crew.
Albert then sees Ruth and goes towards her, she can't be able to move away since she's being kept in place by Peacekeeper soldiers. "Albert, I can explain…"
"No!" yelled Albert. "After what you did, I am done falling for whatever tricks and lies you have, and you will pay for this and be lucky the Rosato's are taking it easy on you. You're not having any more cats, just two and every last expired food is gonna be taking a nice trip elsewhere."
"You're also gonna get some help from a nurse at the retirement home, and you'll only be staying here in your house until the end of the year, then you're moving into Sunset Canyon. I even got word from the family, that they'll visit you, only if you don't plan on poisoning them with your rancid food."
Peter Harris goes to them. "At least Lisa did her part and saved them from their suffering, we got a lot of other stuff to talk about." Ruth did not like where this was going, she was about to lose so much for her actions.
While that is happening, Jordan sees her mom talking to Rita, and she's apologizing for not knowing about this, Jordan then looks towards Lincoln and the others. "Looks like you're moms in trouble."
Leni sighs. "Yeah, looks like some stuff that was made from the past is all catching up to her. As if realizing my true stupidity effects wasn't bad enough, this is happening because she was too oblivious and tricked by Aunt Ruth."
"I doubt we can ever see Ruth as family again" said Luan. "I mean, she tried to poison you!"
"Yet, I managed to evade that and fix this ordeal before anyone else got into some serious suffering" replied Jordan. She then goes towards Lincoln. "You guys gonna be okay?"
They all look to their mom who is being spoken to by Albert, and he looks angry. "We don't know for sure, but perhaps tomorrow will be a better day, and we don't know if we can even put trust into her for what's happened. Also, thanks Lisa."
Lisa nods. "I was not going to let the entire family suffer from some chronic outbreak and have our home become ground zero to a deadly virus that has been hiding inside rancid food since the colonization of the country."
"You really did save our sins back then dude" said Luna. They all continue to talk to Lisa about how she helped them from the possible diseases and other unholy effects of food eating many years ago.
Lincoln and Jordan look upon what's going on around them, and the one thing they know, is that Ruth's actions are definitely gonna be the talk of the town.
