Chapter 549.
"Another day with the Baby."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln and Jordan are feeling fine and happy with the Monday they're having, and they seem more okay because it's all over for the day. Because they were told that someone is gonna come over to spend some time with them and it's someone they truly appreciate since last year.
The duo walk out of the school and talk to each other. "So, Lucas is coming to the house, and we're gonna spend some time with him again" said Lincoln. "I can't wait to see him again."
"Same." Jordan seems very excited. "I so love it when he comes to visit or whenever we get to spend some time with him. He's always happy to see us, and his cutie face is enough to make us happy too."
They already spoke with their friends and each of them has their own plans this Monday after school.
Clyde, Chloe, Ryan, Gretchen, Hope, Emma, Cristina, Richie, Chad, Jenny and Flat Tire plan to watch the new season of "Operation Dessert Storm."
Rusty, Polly, Trent and Lance are gonna go and do some tricks on their wheels at skater's park.
Zach and Giggles are gonna go to the Park and see if they can try out some new comedic tricks for this week's incoming Chortle Portal event, and it shocks them that Luan is not competing for this.
Liam and Tabby are headed to the farm, and they're going to check on something new, that new would be a new flock that arrived to the farm and that flock is the sheep-Pokémon, Wooloo.
Simon and Stella are gonna go to Simon's house and finish the project they have planned with the Tech club, and it's something of robotic origins.
The gals that Jordan know as her crew are headed to the mall, obviously and for the sale too. They also plan to meet up with Jackie, Mandee and Ruby.
Lincoln and Jordan are about to go to the bus, but then they see someone waiting for them and that someone is Jillian Henvers and with her in the stroller is her infant son, Lucas and the baby smiles at the sight of Lincoln and Jordan walking towards him.
The duo go to them and greet the mother and son. "Hello Ms. Henvers, and hello little Lucas."
The baby giggles and reaches for them and so Jordan carries him and kisses his cheek, she then looks towards the mother. "Why the heck are you guys here? I thought we were gonna meet with you two at The Loud House."
"Well, we were passing by here and the bell rang and so I thought it would be best if we met with you guys here, and also have a nice walk with him as you guys go home. I need Lucas here to get his mind off of…" Jillian whispers to the two preteens. "Blarney the Dinosaur. He's been stuck watching that show all morning and the other day too."
Lincoln and Jordan are surprised to hear this, they did not see this coming. "Well, we'll keep an eye on him and make sure he has fun in a different way and not eyes glued to the TV."
Jillian nods. "Thank you, and someone else wanted to come along." They see who it is and it's Growlithe and the little puppy-Pokémon barks and licks the baby's face, making him giggle. "He wanted to tag along, and I don't know where Trubbish ran off to."
"We'll keep an eye on Lucas, you can count on us" said Lincoln.
Jillian nods. "I know." she then looks to her baby. "Be back soon, my little bundle of joy, have fun with your godparents and try not to cause any trouble." She kisses his forehead and this makes Lucas smile.
They watch as Jillian goes into her car and she drives off, the two preteens then walk away from the school with Lucas in his stroller, they didn't notice the other preteens all taking pics of this, they seemed interested with the cuteness of the baby.
Growlithe follows behind and we have Patriot and Valkyrie sky high and watching over them, but they're not alone and are joined by Bullets and his mate, Swellow as they fly with them.
(The Loud House.)
The duo arrive, while pushing the stroller and they see that Luna's car is there and so is Leni's car. "Huh, looks like they're home" said Lincoln. He then opens the door, for Jordan to push Lucas's stroller and they spot the rockstar teen on the couch and on her guitar.
Luna spots her brother and Jordan and she smiles at the sight of the duo. "Hey dudes, and little cute dude." Luna goes over and she kisses Lucas' forehead and he giggles at this. "He's always happy to see some friendly faces."
Luna then sees Growlithe come into the house and then run to Charles and the two dogs bark and race around and play with each other. "Well, looks like we got some good company going on, well come on. We can chill at the living room and watch something."
"Actually we were thinking of taking this outside and enjoy some outdoor time" said Lincoln. "Lucas here could use it."
Luna smiles hearing this. "Now that sounds like a nice idea, dudes. Let me grab my acoustic." They all make their way to the backyard and pass by a sleeping Cliff and Geo in the kitchen and they hear sounds in the basement. "That's Michelle and Lana dealing with the pipes, they said that got this."
They make it outside and then Luna tells them something. "Something weird happened today, and I don't mean that something odd at school weird." Luna then helps her brother setup the picnic blanket from Lucas's baby bag.
"What?" Jordan places Lucas onto the picnic blanket and she hands Lucas his plush panda and he plays with it and they all sit around the baby with Growlithe and Charles running around the backyard and Butterfree sitting on the tree.
"Well, when we got out of school early. Leni, Luan and I saw mom walking out of the school and she said that she was doing a small talk with our principal and then she asked us how school was and that kinda got us into wondering why she would come and talk to Principal Rivers."
"I mean, didn't seem like a talk about grades. They seemed chill and not in the concerned or proud moment, also she even asked if we have seen any tough times in school and we said that nothing else happened, except a the quiz we passed."
Lincoln and Jordan are both confused, but Lincoln has a theory. 'Perhaps she's trying to make an article for her job. She did quit being a dentist and now works for the Royal Woods Gazette, though Luna tends to add her ideas still into the articles every once and a while.'
"I don't know what the heck is up with mom and our school" said Luna. "But I don't think it's done for, and I know for a fact that she has something going on with talking to Principal Rivers."
"Then the best option is to ask her, and perhaps she'll spill the beans." Jordan then pulls Lucas close to her and she kisses his head and this makes the baby hug her.
She then hands him to Lincoln. "Mom has to be doing something, and I'm not sure if this is about her job or the whole ordeal after Leni and her head ordeal, she might be trying to make up for the moments of us not getting proper checkups."
Lincoln then let's Lucas crawl on the picnic blanket and he goes towards Luna and claps. Luna smiles and she strums her guitar and watch es Lucas be all happy. "Well, whatever she has planned. Leni has a plan, and we get to it tomorrow." Luna then strums again and Lucas laughs and smiles.
The sight of this baby liking her music reminds her so much of back when Lincoln was happy to hear her sing, and also play a ukulele.
"Awesome" said Jordan. Then they hear an alarm sound. "Linc, you're phone."
Lincoln checks his phone and so do the others. It's a notification from Lynn's Table.
This Tuesday, try the new Rosa Red Tacos!
"Huh, looks like Dad figured out what to call them, and that is a pretty catchy name" said Lincoln.
"Dudes, there is gonna be tons of folks coming for those tacos and chances Great Lakes City will hear about this" said Luna. "There's gonna be a big crowd outside of the restaurant tomorrow, for sure."
"No kidding." Jordan then sees Lucas crawl to his bottle, and so she grabs the bottle and Lucas and she feeds the baby. "They're gonna need some backup to keep the folks in line, or chaos will erupt."
"Dad will think of something" said Lincoln. "And I know for sure that he'll give all credit to Rosa for the creations, and some credit to Hector who made the whole taco thing go down like a basket of cash."
They all continue to play with Lucas, and the baby was than happy to spend some time with the folks who he too calls family, then they see Bullet and Swellow on the roof, talking to Patriot and Valkyrie and this shocks Lincoln, Jordan and Luna.
"Whoa. When the heck did they get here?" asked Luna.
