Chapter 558.
"Meeting and the Rules."
(May 6. Lynn's Table.)
The time of school is done for the day and now we see Katie Crest waiting inside of the restaurant that belongs to the father of the Louds, and she waits for the arrival of the band, and their leader.
As the woman waits, she notices other folks coming into the place, but these aren't the folks of Royal Woods. First she sees Leni, and then Luan. After that comes is Stella, Simon, Liam and Tabby. Then she spots the twins being escorted by Rita who has Lily and Lisa.
Then Lucy with Lynn also arrive, and then Darrel from the Middle School music club, Peter Harris with two Peacekeepers and then she sees the parents of Jordan, then comes Albert, Myrtle and lastly, Lincoln and Jordan and they have the eagles with them as well.
Even Ryan, Hope, Gretchen and the Pertland and Warwick parents as well, and the fathers of Hope and Gretchen both have briefcases and seem prepared and dressed, like lawyers.
Seeing them was not making her amused, and she does question the two other folks in the restaurant and they look familiar, but she ignores them.
'I don't like where this is going. This does not fare well for me, and my plans. I need to wait for…'
Katie Crest then sees the ones she's been waiting for. Luna, Sam, Sully and Mazzy: The Luna-tics and with them is Chunk and… Katie Crest and she does not look pleased with the lady in the restaurant.
Katie Crest doesn't like seeing her here as well, but she does what she can to keep a straight face. "Well, glad you came Luna and your band as well. Now we can get to talking about the whole tour…"
Luna then speaks. "Dude, we brought you here so we could discuss the…."
"Let me stop you right there." Katie Crest then readies her briefcase. "As you should know, I managed to make a contract and established what we can do on the tour and all of them under my guidance, and to make sure we go on time and we end on time to the next tour, and the whole thing would…."
Katie Crest then sees all of them getting ready to leave and same with Luna and her band, they are all ticked off. "Wait, what the heck are you doing? Where are you going?!"
"Leaving, learn to see clearly weirdo" said Mazzy, she gets up and helps Kintaro put the other chairs away.
Katie Crest is confused. "Wait, what? Why?!"
Luna then confronts her and the glare she has scares the woman. "Because we were gonna say something, but then you blabbered that big fat manager mouth of yours and didn't even let us speak what we were going to do, and that only means that the one thing you care is yourself."
Luna then walks with her brother and Jordan, and the Michelle Lewis speaks. "Just like the same old stupid and selfish Katie Crest. Have fun doing nothing on the tour, hag."
Seeing this was now angering her. "Alright, alright! Fine, stop! Don't leave!" They all stop and look to the woman. "I'll let you all speak, I'll let you guys say what you need to say, since you guys are the ones I want and you all didn't wanna be part of it. So, speak up and I'll listen and stay shut."
Chunk smirks. "See that? She can be reasonable, once you get to know her motives and her intentions." This makes the other chuckle, but this makes Katie Crest upset.
They all take back their seats and they let Luna speak. "Alright, before I was rudely interrupted by the largest amount of annoying bad winds in the place…" This makes them all chuckle, though Luan and Lynn Sr are laughing from this.
Katie Crest turns red with embarrassment from that insult. "Just say what you wanted to say already."
Luna smirks. "We had a big meeting the other day, and through that meeting we all came to an agreement and we established some stuff that would work against whatever schemes you have in mind."
Katie Crest was now angered by this, they all had a meeting on the tour. Luna then continues. "We made a contract and that contract is what binds all the rules that we have made, to ensure that whatever is going on the tour would be implied by the writing of the contract and that you cannot make any changes to them."
Hope is then allowed to speak. "My father, along with Gretchen's dad were able to see through the rules we made and so it has all been set, made and done and we doubt there would be any form of loop holes that you could beat."
"The thing is…" They look to Lincoln. "If we are to go onboard with this dumb tour you have, then we will all be abided by the rules we all came up with, and we hope for you to do the same and we know that whatever contract you have would make us into something we are not!"
Then Michelle Lewis intervenes. "Something Doug and I made long ago, and I am no longer part of that dark scheme we established and to be honest, I am so glad that dumb show is no longer running. It was horrible and now America's Got Talent is the one thing standing."
Katie Crest is feeling her blood boiling, she's being back talked and she knows that Michelle Lewis told them about her history with her and Doug, and this means they know that Katie Crest has a plan.
"So, which is it gonna be dude?" asked Sam. "The contract that we made with the rules, or the contract you made that is sick, twisted, messed up and dumb."
Sully then speaks. "Because if you pick the unwise choice, then we're not gonna part of anything that you have planned. Make your choice, lady."
Katie Crest sees the glares from everyone, but the one from Luna and Lincoln looks like a lethal shot is being sent to her brain and she feels as if she can't get out of this mess. She then opens her briefcase and she takes the contract and rips it in two. "There, happy?"
Luna smiles. "Good choice, and that means you chose the contract that we established."
Katie Crest nods. "Yes, and so I would like to know the rules you have all made."
They all look to each other and nod, and so they tell her the rules.
Sam. "We stick with the gear we're accustomed to, and we install them to the right cords with no changes and attachments to stuff unless we are given the chance to see what your gear has, we do not like lip singing and we don't wanna use stuff that makes music seem fake and stupid."
Sully. "We don't get involved with any big dumb parties that would make us into party freaks and animals, and if we are going to be part of a party when we feel like it, we want a party that doesn't have any alcohol in them. Because we're not the kind of band to get drunk and stupid for you take advantage of!"
"Also, because we know you'd spike our drinks with something to make us fall onto your hands, and if that happens then we bail and never ever see you again…. Or we could file a lawsuit."
Mazzy. "We know we gotta have the gear we know, but also the folks we know and so Michelle Lewis is going to be with us as our tour manager, because you're not our manager. You're just the manager of the whole tour and we care little about that thing."
Michelle. "If anything should happen to us, anything of trouble or bad issues, then we got no choice but to leave before the trouble ignites into something far worse and we know that you're gonna give us trouble and if that comes, then you're tour is over."
"FutureTech will have eyes on the whole tour, and if we go, then FutureTech is also our sponsor. One that you can't shun away or break our binds to, along with some folks companies from Royal Woods, such as Lynn's Table, Gus' Games n. Grub, the Royal Woods Mall and many others."
"Because the town is our family, as we see each other, but not to you." Katie Crest and Michelle Lewis look to each other like two predators at war for territory, and it seems like Michelle is winning the hunting grounds on Crest's territory.
Jordan. "FutureTech forces will be allowed to come with us, which means we will have an air force, a land division and a long ranged naval company watching over us, and with the Burst Drones we can keep track of everything that's gonna happen on tour, and to you as well."
"It'll also act as evidence for when we do need to take this whole thing to the court house, and that whatever plans you have, will be a lost cause with no chances of seeing your own victory. The eagles will also be part of the tour, those eagles who are with us and can still fly along."
Lincoln. "It we're in deep need of some time off, then we take that time off and wait for the next concert to begin again, so we wanna go sightseeing and bond with each other, and without you watching our backs. We'll keep track on when the concert is gonna begin."
"Also, if we have our own opinions on the tour, then we hear each other out. We all have ideas, and we all have to agree on if we want that idea to be made or not."
Luna. "If we get hurt, or sick or something else that is pain related or if we don't feel right in the gut and head or if trouble is going on in our home, then we stop and we head on home, and you cannot stop us from making that move."
The woman who manages the summer tour is shocked and she feels like she could yell her mind out from this, but she knows that she needs the band on tour to make this work. Michelle Lewis smirks. "So, what's it gonna be Crest?"
Katie Crest sighs. "Fine, alright. I agree with these rules and I won't intervene with them."
"Good." They see the two strangers get up and show them who they are, and this shocks Katie Crest.
The rockstar legend himself, Mick Swagger and his manager, Kurt D. Fitzgerald. They were wearing the trench coats and beards and wigs and also mustaches and shades, but why the heck is Kurt wearing a cowboy hat.
"As you see, Crest, we were called by Luna about this ordeal and they escorted us with their fastest aircraft and now here we are" said Mick Swagger.
"And now that this is all legit and in agreement, now we can establish the signing of the contracts" said Kurt. They see as Mr. Pertland and Mr. Warwick open the briefcases and Kurt D. Fitzgerald signs them, and then Mick Swagger does, and then Chester "Chunk" Monk.
Then Luna signs and so does the rest of the band and then Michelle Lewis, and then they look to the woman in charge of the country summer tour. "Well, what's it gonna be, Crest?" asked Kurt.
"If you don't wanna go with it, then that's cool" said Mick Swagger. "The band can just come with us on our own tour, and we can bail out of the tour that you called us about."
Katie Crest recalls that Mick Swagger is coming with the tour, and she knows she needs the new singing talent of Luna and her band to make this tour a success and her name recognized, and even if it means letting Michelle Lewis come along for the ride.
"Alright, fine." She then has her pen and she signs the contracts. "There, now that's done."
"Good." Mr. Warwick then turns on the briefcase and they begin to copy the contracts and this shocks Katie Crest. "FutureTech designed these, and now we have copies for the family friends of the Louds to have, and contract copies will also be with FutureTech."
Peter Harris takes the copies and so does Michelle Lewis and they hand them to the others to keep safe. Katie Crest gets up. "Well, now that's done. I shall be going, till we meet by the time summer vacation begins." She takes her leave and even let's Chunk stay.
(Turns out: Chunk is going to stay in Royal Woods for a while, he'll be on tour when summer begins.)
They watch as the woman leaves and then they all sigh in relief and cheer for this moment, and now they can celebrate with the plan in motion, but deep down, Luna can sense that Katie Crest will be planning something.
'Whatever she has in store, then that'll be her biggest mistake of her damned life!'

A/N: The deeds are done, the contracts established and Katie Crest's summer tour is now in motion when the season hits, and now she has to stick with the rules they have made, but who knows what might happen on their tour and what Katie Crest might have planned to overrule the rules they established.
