So, now we will hear the plan that Linka had, and that it will be time for them to let Courage be on the path alongside the folks he lost track of time and to tell them all about the adventures and the friends and family he made and also something from another world to know about and to soon encounter. Enjoy reading this my pals.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 640: The fate of the Pink Beagle.
(Nowhere, Kansas.)
The day is now April 19, and we now see the small family of Henry, Teresa and they're son that they never forgot, Courage.
They stand in front of the tomb stones of the couple who took him in, the pink beagle sighs and he looks to his parents. "Mom, dad. These are the folks who brought me into their live. Eustace and Muriel Bagge. Though, it was Muriel who found me at that alley the day you guys were taken away from me."
The two beagles go to the tombstones and they do recall what Courage told them the other day, the whole story about the couple he was with and how he did his hardest to keep his family safe even if one of them didn't want him around.
Henry smiles. "Sure wish we could've met the couple, though Eustace doesn't seem like the kinda person I would meet."
Courage chuckles. "True, but don't take the angry persona he has for granted. Deep down, he cares, he's just having trouble showing it at times."
Teresa goes to the grave of Muriel. "Thank you, for finding out boy and giving him a home. We don't know what would've happened of you have never found our son, and gave him a life he could enjoy, and also keep safe." She then places down a flower in front of the grave and then looks to Courage and hugs him.
"We're so proud of the brave little dog you came to be, even if you are a bit cowardly, that is both strength and weakness and you've shown it so many times when keeping the family you have safe from any form of harm and that dastardly Kat."
"Yeah, I did do a lot of screaming and running" said Courage. He still couldn't believe that his mother and father knew Kat, and hated him for the acts of crime he did, such as steal something from the mansion they once had.
Also, the mansion they owned is long gone. Because the patrons never came back, the mansion is abandoned and was demolished and replaced by a park, but after the events of Kat and the villains rallying, now the park is devastated and a forest has grown years later.
Courage then goes to the graves of the Bagge couple. "Eustace, Muriel. Thank you for being there for me, even if you never ever wanted me around, I know that deep down one of you shared an affection to see me as family and I'm okay with it."
"Now, I'm back with the family I lost, and a future that will be something you'd be proud of me for, and the memories from the times we had will live on, within me, as with the friends I made as well. To my friends and family and those I knew all around this world, thank you and…. Good bye."
Courage then kisses the two gravestones one last time, because he made a new choice, to let the past go and rekindle another past. But he will never forget those he once knew and loved, through his many amazing and scary adventures.
"Come on son." Courage looks to the Volkswagen beetle, and he sees his parents going towards it. "Time to go to our new home."
Courage smiles and goes with them, he never knew his family had a car, and within the car is the remaining stuff they managed to salvage from the wreckage of the mansion, and now they drive onto the road and towards the Allied outpost that is beginning to pack up.
The last time for them to be here, in the world of Nowhere.
But what about the Wishing Tree? Well, in the arms of Courage is the potted plant, and in it is the small tree that is sustained and smiles at this new adventure. 'Well Courage, it seems like you still kept one piece of the past, and I'll be with you till the end of this new journey, let it ve scary or not.'
(Spellman Estate.)
The group all gather to hear what Linka has to tell them. "Alrighty then, so you're all probably confused as to why I would wish to let Courage… Be with his family, right?"
"Pretty much." Leni goes to her little sister and sits next to her. "Linka, I can tell that there is a reason as to why you wanted this to happen, and whatever choice it was we're all fine with it. But does Courage know?"
Linka nods. "After the party, I spoke with Courage and his parents Henry and Teresa and he was…. He was emotional and thanked me for the gift of reuniting him with his parents, and he understood the reason why I did this and I think it's time the rest of you guys knew as well."
"We're all changing, and we've been through so much together and with summer closing in, some of us won't be around the mansion much because of the moving plans we have and so… I thought that it was time to setup the project I had planned since last year. The plan to find the parents of Courage."
"So I spoke to FutureTech and they were able to deploy tons of recon elements to find the planet and the last division to do so would be the Terminator forms they had days ago, and they were the success in tracking down the parents of our faithful pink beagle."
"I want him to have the family he lost, the family he loved and the family he never forget. He may have lost one family to events that turned from bad to worse, but he still had a family, lost and waiting and now they're back and from my plan to reunite them."
"Courage won't be living with us, but it doesn't mean he's gonna be far away. I spoke with his parents, Henry and Teresa and since they are still loaded and I do question why his bank account is still viable, they chose to stay in our world, at the new neighborhood coming soon, known as Royal Dawn."
"But, that place doesn't open till summer" said Neil.
"They know, and that's why they're gonna be staying with us for the time being, a few more moment with us before he leaves to his new house, not too far from ours and he can always come by and visit" said Linka. "I think you all are chill with this, right?"
Luna smirks. "That sounds like the plan I have for this little guy." She pulls her son, Lincoln close to her and kisses his cheek.
Lincoln chuckles and hugs her, and then looks towards Linka. "That sounds like an amazing plan Linka, we're with you on it."
"All of us understands and it's nice of you to do this for Courage and his parents" said Leni. "You're growing up and learned to cope with problems of the past that are now set and never to return again, and now the future you want for the one we call family is making its written story."
"We couldn't be any more proud at what you're doing, sweetie" said Gwen. She goes over and hugs Linka. "As we will also have to face you not living here soon, but with Leni and Loni."
Linka smiles and soon the rest of the family comes together for a group hug. "Thanks you guys."
Then they hear the Great Gate open, and flying through are tons of Allied stuff, from their vehicles, troops and they're aircraft. They all depart from the family hug and walk out of the Spellman home and see the last thing to come through is a pink Volkswagen Beetle.
The car stops and Courage comes out and he goes over and hugs Linka, and the white haired girl hugs him back. "Welcome back home, Courage."
Courage smiles and licks her cheek, and the sight of this makes the two families happy, and Teresa and Henry are grateful that this girl found Courage before he went through more conflicts.
Courage then looks to the Great Gate and sees the Guardian cast a bolt of lightning, which disrupts the path from this world, to the world from where they resided in. The portals have been cut off from that one world, at Nowhere.
Courage sighs, and he smiles. He then goes back to hugging Linka, and he remembers those he knew long ago. 'So long everyone, maybe one day we'll see each other again. But for now, I will never forget you all and thank you, for everything.'
(Far from the Spellman Estate.)
A very familiar wagon spots them from the top of the hill and the small dog sees them and smirks. "Stupid dog, sometimes he doesn't know how difficult it is for someone to even have a backup plan."
The little Gipsy Chihuahua gets off her wagon and goes back inside. "Till we meet again, stupid dog." She starts the spell and an ethereal horse pulls the wagon and Shirley makes her own path down the road and away from Royal Woods, wherever she wishes to go and explore.
Looks like this is a misery, for next time.
(Royal Fortress.)
After the events of the day, Martin is now trying to calm down from what they have been through, and he calms down and looks to the clock. "I should get some sleep now."
Martin then cleans up the folders and papers, and then he looks to the picture on his desk, the picture of the robot he rebuilt and wanted to give her a new life, and that would be Penny Polendina, this was the last time they spent time together before she left the team.
He takes the picture and smiles as he looks to the smile on Penny's face, and the way she looked way after she was found torn apart by Gyro. "You never left my mind, child. I will never forget what we have to do and when the time comes, then we shall return to Remnant and give you our aid."
"Which might be sooner than you think." Martin turns around and see the Guardian. "Because shit is going down, and we need to go back there."
Martin didn't like where this was going. "Guardian, what has happened in the world of Remnant?"
To be continued in the next chapter guys.
A/N: Well, looks like Courage has his family reunited again, and a farewell to the world he once knew and it looks like we're headed to that return, the return to Remnant. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
