Okay, so before the big encounter with the world they need to go to and help out, we're gonna be seeing a conversation on any plans for the future of Courage and his parents, and some things that would be explained that would make sense. Enjoy reading this my friends.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 641: The McBeagle parents.
(Spellman Estate.)
Morning shines onto the home of the Spellman family and we now see Courage the Cowardly dog, or by his real name, Courage McBeagle and he's lying on the doggy bed and within the room shared by the twins, Lincoln and Linka.
He slowly gets up and he hugs the teddy bear and walks out of the room, he then recalls what had happened the other day and so he races down the stairs and into the dining room and sees the rest of the family is wake, and there joining them at the table are his birth parents.
Henry and Teresa McBeagle. These two were taken away from him long ago when Courage was still in diapers, they brought him to the veterinarian after he had his head stuck between the metal fences of their home, and after he was helped. He soon found out that his parents were taken away.
He tried to help them, but he couldn't and he fled and watched as his mother and father were sent to space as part of the evil veterinarians twisted plots into breeding super dogs. That day he lost his family, he gained a new one within Muriel, and also her husband Eustace Bagge.
But now here they are and the reason why is because of Linka, and the preteen goes over and hugs the pink beagle and he hugs her back. "Good morning, buddy. Good to see ya doing well, are you doing okay?"
Courage nods, and he goes over and hugs his parents and they return the embrace. "Don't you worry there, Courage. Everything will be okay now, we're all together and as a family once more" said Teresa.
"We're here, and nothing is separating us from each other ever again" said Henry. "We're back as a family, my little Chuck."
The others are a bit confused. "Wait, hold the phone dudes. Courage's real name was Chuck?"
The McBeagle's depart from the hug. "That was his name long ago, Chuck which is shot for Chester, but we made the agreement to let the old and new names come together" said Teresa.
"So, his name is Chester "Courage" McBeagle" said Henry. Courage nods and likes the name. The others also liked the name, but they would still call him by the name of which he came to be from them when Linka first found him long ago.
"Well, we should finish eating breakfast" said Gwen. They all come to the table and eat what was made. "We have a big day ahead of us, and also the kids still have classes, so we'll be spending some time with them when classes are done with."
"We're alright with that, in the meantime we can spend some lost time together" said Teresa.
"Like old times, son." Henry ruffles his sons' head and this makes Courage chuckle and babble something that only Henry and Teresa can understand.
"And one thing I need to ask" said Neil. "How come you guys talk and he can't?"
Henry and Teresa know the answer to that and so they tell them. "We came to a conclusion and so did our son, that the reason why he doesn't speak to others as normal English and why the gibberish combined with dog is added, is because we were never around for him" said Teresa.
"Because of that, we never taught him how to speak to other folks as the usual humanoid animal species would do, since our world is weird and very odd, animals can speak English and thrive with human society" said Henry.
"Yeah, we recall about that word from last time we saw the bad guys that were kinda odd" said Sunset.
"There was the fox, the gerbil, the big foot, the witch of the water and that damned Kat, who tried to literally kill us" said Linka.
"So, because we weren't around, Courage doesn't know how to speak fluent English like anyone, but he does know what animals are saying and also understand what others speak" said Teresa.
"But he doesn't seem to know how to say them right, and we can be there to help him learn" said Henry. "Kinda like High School, just in the house. So, it's homeschooling our boy here."
Courage smiles at the thought of it, and then he recalls that teacher who came to the farm house and was trying to teach Courage, and glad she's no longer around. She was weird and very strict and literally made Courage into one heaping mess.
"Well, we're glad you guys can spend some time and help Courage" said Lincoln. "A family to Courage is a family to us, we're all part of this whole family now."
"And we thank you all for this, and for helping Courage find a new family after he lost the last one and we really wish we could thank Muriel and Eustace properly for saving him too" said Teresa.
"Mostly Muriel" said Henry. "Odd that she knows how to make vinegar into food, is it because of her origin from where she came from?"
"We're not sure" said Neil. "We also don't know much about the couple, since their records have been lost from the whole conflict with those heathen bad guys who came on through."
"But that's all over and now things are better, Courage found a family and now he's reunited by the parents he lost track of time" said Linka. "We're glad this is happening, and we're glad you guys plan to go and live at another place with your son."
Teresa smiles. "We're more happy and thankful to you who came up with the plan to find us and the rest of the dogs left on that planet, we don't even know which planet we were stuck on."
"Pluto" replied Lincoln. "FutureTech reports which I found out from Linka."
They remain silent hearing this, because of that name and where the dogs were stuck on. "Huh, sounds like the name of a dog" said Henry.
(Ketcham Park.)
Right now the day is looking good and the folks of the park are all going about their fun and business and now we see Courage, and his parents, along with Neil, Gwen and Lily, Michelle is over by the bench and checking for any messages from Gyro.
The Pokémon are with them and having fun with Courage and even the pets are playing around, and now we see Loona and her pups, and that means Leon and Sergei are there as well.
They already spent a nice day together, then the kids and teens from the school are there, which means Linka, Lincoln, Leni, Luna, Sunset and Timmy go over and spend some time with them.
Right now we go towards Neil, Gwen and with them is Lily, and sitting with them are Henry and Teresa and they watch as the others are having fun and going about with their day.
"This is nice, and we loved the time we had together and the folks of the mall are so nice to us too" said Teresa.
"Well, with so much stuff going on. It all seems normal to have a ton of stuff that don't seem normal at all" said Gwen. She then let's Lily sit on her lap and kisses her cheek. "We've all had our fair share of new things coming."
Neil chuckles. "Protoss, Faunus, Pokémon, video game characters, and all sorts of stuff coming in and out from any dimension."
Henry smirks. "Yeah, this does kinda feel like the world where we came from, but with a whole lot weirder into the mix, and you know what? We're fine with that, and so is Courage too. Glad he's learned how to handle stuff around this new life."
"He may be cowardly at times, but the name shows that even his cowardice can bring in the bravest within his heart" said Teresa.
"And he has shown that way too many times" said Neil. He then looks to Henry. "Okay, so let's talk. So, we know you guys have a home ready for when the time comes, and we know that it's one of the homes from Royal Dawn, and that place isn't gonna be open until summer hits."
Henry nods. "We have, and it is a lovely home that reminds us of the mansion we have, and I am amazed that my account is alright in this world."
"Ever since the Faunus, the account system for them works as well, so they can be able to save the cash they have in the bank" said Gwen. "Thanks to FutureTech for that one. Now, about the home you guys purchased."
"Right, well we're planning to check it out tomorrow" said Teresa. "We're gonna be escorted by the father of Jordan, he's the man in charge of the whole Royal Dawn project alongside this elderly man, named Albert."
"Well, we hope you guys enjoy the home you found, I know that you guys are gonna have some dang good company when that place is open for more folks to come on through" said Neil with a comforting smile. "Now, where the heck are you gonna work?"
Henry chuckles. "Don't' worry Neil A. Spellman, I got me a steady job someplace in town. I recall, that this place is a bank, and that I am a man… Well, dog who knows how to handle business, I know it might not be a good business job as the one I had back in our world, but it's a start and when I am trusted, perhaps a business job someplace else could work."
Teresa then speaks. "I myself have a plan to work someplace, and that would be the park in keeping an eye on the things around the place. They said they could use a new groundskeeper since the one of them are retiring, so that means I can come here and enjoy the moments of others and also clean up the place."
"Wow. Talk about steady jobs" said Gwen. "Kinda like the goal that Neil has at Ever After and the one I have."
"Well, we have been wondering" said Henry. "Now we know that Neil here is the headmaster of a fairy tale school, but what do you do Gwen?"
Gwen smirks and she lets Neil carry Lily and she shows them the papers that tell what she does and they are also reports on stuff. "Huh, you help maintain steady calls of the border control sectors of the town and other states and you also help support plant based organizations around the country too" said Teresa.
"You also handle operations for Child Services?" said Henry. "Taking in random calls that could either be true in child abuse and neglect or if they are false calls from folks who don't think otherwise, now that is a good job there."
Neil pulls her close. "Well, she knows how to work as I did back then." He then kisses her cheek. Gwen smiles and she kisses his cheek and then Lily joins in and this makes them all laugh.
"We're glad we're just a bunch of parents who do what we can for our kids" said Teresa.
"That we are and…" Henry then sees something. "Isn't that the raven who closed the portal?"
Neil and Gwen notice this and so does the rest of the team and family and they go over to see what this is all about. Michelle smiles seeing Gyro. "Gyro, glad you came and…."
"Not at the moment, darling." Gyro morphs from his raven form and goes to the others. "We got trouble, and I will explain more when we go to the Royal Fortress, and it's bad."
Hearing him say that is never a good sign. "Guardian, what's this all about?" asked Lincoln.
Gyro sighs. "Team, we have to go back to Remnant, but I have news about what I have spoken to, and how critical things have been from what we know and the trouble that we're unaware about."
They did not like this, so they get ready to leave. Neil hands Lily to Michelle and they head to the dropship that has arrived and they make the flight away from Ketcham Park and off to the Great Gate back at Spellman Estate.
Michelle, Lily, the Pokémon, Courage and his parents watch them take off and then Teresa asks. "Is thus normal?"
Michelle sighs. "As normal as it gets around here."
