A Happy birthday to someone who we know who has changed her fate and has yet to decide what she should do after her time in the fairytale High School, and also to report to the others about what they found out, and to soon see what the truth holds. Enjoy reading this guys.

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 650: The Swan's 18th.

(April 30. Spellman Estate.)

We go to the home of the Spellman family and right now we see the whole place is crowded with tons of folks from the school of Ever After High, why? Because this is the 18th birthday of Duchess Swan Spellman and she couldn't be anymore happier for this day.

She had her amazing 17th last year and it was something she would never forget, but to have this one with a lot of her family is something she truly appreciates and she's dressed as the attire she wore to the Ever After High Thronecoming, and she goes around and greets everyone.

The whole place got a little too crowded and so they expanded a bit and half the party is also within the forest that neighbors the Spellman home and the party guests are fine with this. A lot of decorations have been made to look as festive as Duchess Swan would love, and the pool has been deployed.

So, this is also a pool party, but Duchess can dance over water and so she doesn't really need to swim. The song of course is whatever comes to the liking for anyone from the world of Ever After.

Duchess then sees some of the students she knows and those folks are Apple White, Briar Beauty, Maddeline Hatter, Raven Queen, Justine Dancer and Ashlynn Ella.

"Hi girls, how're all of you doing?"

"Well, we never had a birthday party of yours in this world and it sure is nice to see such wonderful creatures here as they are in our world" said Apple. She looks onto the bird-category Pokémon going around the place.

"But we're mostly here for you, so Happy Birthday Duchess" said Raven Queen.

Duchess smiles. "Thanks girls."

Then Maddeline Hatter gets to her and speaks. "Oh how far though the swan to take her wings, and then squabble onto the path of her that should be the step closer of what matters the most, and doesn't have to be topsy turby or downy frowny all over yonder."

A lot of the party guests are so confused at what she had just said, but Giles understood what she said. "She said Happy birthday and congrats on being 18."

Duchess smiles. "Oh, well thank you Maddie, that's sweet of you to say so in the Wonderlandian words."

Maddie nods, and so she races off to see what human Pinkie Pie and Pony Pinkie Pie have made. But it does seem off for everyone to see this demon there, the Overlord Velvet is there and she's adding some finishing touches to the large swan shaped cake she made.

Briar then asks. "So, she's a demon?"

Duchess nods. "Yeah, seems like we can't get her to leave us alone, she's really into making friends and it seems like the family and everyone else are her friends. At least she's not too dangerous."

Then Dexter walks by them. "Well, she does make great cupcakes." He then hands some to the girls and they all enjoy them.

Duchess then sees her Swanna stand with her and she pets her head, then Duchess looks around and smiles. 'This sure is one birthday I will always love, to see everyone I know and love as friends and family here to celebrate my 18th birthday.'

'I really have come so far from the mean princess I was before, and now this is the path I have taken. To have an amazing family, a path to a bright future and a destiny I don't have to follow anymore. Because this swan is gonna take her future to where her family lies.'

Duchess then notices her other friends and family having fun.

Then Maddie passes by them and sees the clowning act from Luan and everyone laughs at what she can do, and even Lola and Lana showed up, and so does Lucy and she's taking with Faybelle Thorn. Peter Sharp, along with Ember and the Dazzles are making the music for this whole party.

Michelle Lewis is talking with Loona, Rita and Lynn Sr, and even Albert, Myrtle and the rest of the family from Gwen's side are there as well.

Sally Whitemane is there and speaking with Giles Grimm and some of the staff, and also keeping an eye on Rumplestiltskin, and even the Netherdrakes, Nel'Thorious and Shall'Cross are there and they head towards their human companions, Lincoln and Linka.

Then Duchess sees the rest of her family talking to each other and she can tell that whatever it is has something to do with what her uncle Leon found. Duchess then sees Lily walk towards her and so she picks her up. "Hello, little sister."

Lily giggles. "Happy birthday, Duchess."

The princesses awe at the cute words from Lily, and Duchess smiles. "Thank you, Lily flower." She kisses her cheek and this makes Lily giggle. Duchess then looks to her family talking and sees the concerned looks from them.

'We've all been hurt from what had happened to… To Penny, and things have been harder on us to have one less family member gone, but we're holding on and doing what we can to move on. I wonder what we're gonna do now, and what would happen if we do and I mean if all of us go back to Remnant.'

Meanwhile, Neil, Gwen and Leon are talking to the others: Lincoln, Linka, Jordan, Luna, Sam, Becky, Dana, Carol, Lein, Lori and Sergei. They're told about what Leon found in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

"So, Amity Tower from Atlas and Mantle is here and chances that someone we know from Remnant is in there as well?" asked Linka.

"That one I am not sure about" replied Leon. "I didn't have the right gear to see who was in there and so we don't know if it is either Professor Polendina or even Maria who are within that thing. The answers we seek are within FutureTech."

"And we can't just step in there and ask Martin, Victor and Jack Cyber" said Luna. "We've been shunned out of there and can't do squats without the mobile floating fortress."

Gwen looks to Becky and Carol. "What about you girls? Anything from your boyfriends?"

Becky sighs and shakes her head in denial. "Sorry guys, but I got nothing. Martin hasn't even sent me a single text message to me and I can't even pinpoint where he is now, I think."

"I know where they are, but I can't even get to them and no messages from Victor either" said Carol. "They're up to something there and whatever it is might not be related to the Amity Tower, but chances they are sending resources to that place."

"Then what the heck do we do?" asked Sam. They all look towards Lincoln.

The snow-haired boy thinks about this. "Well, we can only wait for when the time is right. We keep track of Amity Tower and what it does, and when the time is right… We raid it for the truth and only then can we know what the heck is going on there."

Jordan knows this is necessary and yet the others aren't sure about this. "He's right. I mean, we can't just go there and ask what the heck is going on. We're gonna need to come up with some plan to go in there and raid the zone for anything."

They all aren't sure about this. "How about we all talk about this and then we can sort out if we should raid the tower or not" said Gwen. "It's the best option we have." they all nod and agree to this, a hard choice to make for when they have to talk about what's going on.

Then they hear the announcement of the duet dance, and they all stop and watch as Sparrow Hood offers his hand to Duchess, this makes her blush and she accepts the hand and the duo end up dancing on the dance floor, which is the pool.

Seems like the dancing over water skills from Duchess has made an aura around her to affect her friends and loved ones, and her family and her love to her childhood friend, Sparrow is growing and everyone else can see this.

Though the Royal Defenders should be concerned about what FutureTech is hiding, right now they should focus on this whole event, to celebrate the 18th birthday of Duchess Swan.

Then Neil wonders. 'What future does she seek? Will she remain in Ever After and seek out her destiny, or will she find her own path and rewrite what she doesn't want to be a part of?'

(Somewhere at the North area of Royal Woods.)

Night has fallen and something begins to breach through the outer limits of the town, and that something is a portal and something that is unknown comes out, it makes a clicking sound and looks around the place.

This creature looks around for anything to mess with, and this thing then sees the sign of Royal Woods and it makes its way through the main road and takes refuge in the forest to seek out a path to this town.

The creature is a living tea pot, and it has one red eye to the left side of it, and it looks rusty, old and bronze in color, and also mechanical. What the heck is this thing?

The Eyepot.
A teapot-like creature that runs on three legs and has a red cat-like eye in the center of its metal body.

The odd creature then runs around and looks for something and so it takes refuge in the bushes and makes its way to cause some trouble.
