CHAPTER 663: Clash of the Alpha Titans!
(The Monsterverse universe.)
The city of Hong Kong is under heavy attack, and the attack is from two powerful Titans, two powerful alpha Titans and who are these alpha titans clashing in the city of Hong Kong?
Godzilla.
King of the Monsters. Zo-Zia-Halawa. Great Ethereal Enemy. Savior of San Francisco. Alpha Predator. God Incarnate. Ultimate Titan. Titan Savior. The Big Guy. Giant Lizard Beast.
Standing at 393 ft. length at 582 ft. and weighing at 99.634 tons.
Classified as Titanus Gojira. They date his age to 250 million years ago.
Large, powerful and looks pretty impressive than some guy in a suit walking around a small city, and with a roar as iconic as any franchise. Territorial and the driving force to restore balance to nature whenever balance is disrupted. But he can get super pissed off when an old enemy resurfaces.
He shares a symbiotic relationship with Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters.
Kong.
King of Skull Island. God of Skull Island. The Mountain who thunders death. King of the Primates. Ultimate Guardian.
Standing at 337 ft. tall and weighing at 158 tons.
Classified as Titanus Kong.
As he was year's ago when they saw him on Skull Island, but he's grown up and changed throughout the years, his fur is darker he has grown a beard-like facial hair. The scars on his chest appear to have healed more properly, but are still faintly visible. He is the last of his kind, and is very intelligent and can have a kind heart, and be very protective when something dares to threaten him.
And right now he has a new weapon, a Battle axe that seems to be made of the same thing as Godzilla's scales.
But both Godzilla and Kong are the same. Why? They are both the last of their kind, they hate the enemies who are responsible for the death of their species, both have no quarrel with humans and both are portrayed as morally-neutral apex predators who maintain order.
The Royal Fortress arrives, and they see what's going on. "Holy fucking shit!" They all see the two Alpha-Titans fight it off like one awesome movie scene and the troops and everyone else has no idea what to do. They hear some crunching and look towards Boomer.
They see Boomer with popcorn. "This is so awesome, glad I got butter for this."
But then Martin realizes something. "Shit! Dropships, get over to the city and get those people out of there now!"
The dropships all take off from the Royal Fortress and they make their way to the city and then begin to save the people who are gonna get killed, some folks haven't made it to the Titan bunker, and so they need to get out by either water or by air.
The dropships do what they can to evade the two titans fighting, and one nearly gets hit by Godzilla's Atomic blast, and another barely misses from the incoming leap from Kong.
Then Martin contacts MONARCH. "Anyone in Monarch, this is Martin McKenzie, head of FutureTech. Our floating fortress is in range and we're beginning evac on the locals of the city, what the hell is going on?!" They then hear a voice from the communicator.
"My name is Mark Russell and I lead the team. Thanks for helping out, but we don't know why the hell this is happening and we don't even know why Godzilla is even attacking people."
Martin sighs. "Well, looks like our ally went rogue on us and…" He notices Gyro looking at the mountain. "Guardian? What's wrong?"
Jack Cyber also does the same and he scans the mountain. "Holy fuck! We got something in the mountain and it has….. No, something is in there and it has King Ghidorah's energy level!"
"Incoming!" They all see the Atomic breath of Godzilla misfire and then hit the Iron curtain device of the Royal Fortress. "No!"
Victor sees the damage. "Well, there goes our strongest barrier, we're gonna have to stick to the Chrono barrier and the phase barrier now, but against Godzilla's attacks, they won't do much!"
Martin then goes to the main controls. "We need to begin triggering the new wave force nano barrier and through that we can defend the Royal Fortress, and give it enough time to ready the alterations into the Royal Battle Fortress!"
He then looks to Lincoln and Linka. "Hey! Get into Lynx Superia and help stop this fight now!" Lincoln and Linka are both unsure about this, but the duo head for their jaeger in the main hangar, and the rest of the team is confused on what they should even do.
Jack Cyber then takes off and he goes to save some folks, and so the others do the same as well and do what they can to avoid the fight between Godzilla and Kong. "Dudes, this is insane!" Luna is riding her Frost Wyrm and some F-22's fly by to escort her.
Everyone else in the city and watching from Monarch see this and are confused at this new group coming to help, but they don't seem to be doing anything against Kong and Godzilla and Mark Russell knows why, because when it comes to Godzilla and his fights… Do not intervene or he will deal with you!
Martin then hears something on the communicator. "Hey, any idea why Godzilla is…"
Gyro answers that one. "Apex Corporation has something in that mountain and it has the same essence of the deceased King Ghidorah! Tell me, did anyone salvage the severed head that Godzilla ripped off years ago?!"
Mark Russell remains silent and so does the rest of Monarch. They didn't know where the head went, and they never thought of looking for it, and now they can see why Godzilla is attacking, and Apex Corporation is the cause.
Lynx Superia then surfaces from the Royal Fortress and then gets ready. It then slams its fists together and cracks its knuckles.
Lincoln. "Alright, so this is it. We're gonna fight our own ally, or try and stop them from doing more damage."
Linka. "This is so wrong, and yet they're fighting is… Wait a minute!"
They see that Godzilla has defeated Kong and the duo roar to each other and soon Godzilla gets his foot off of Kong and he walks away, but he seems to show signs of respect to Kong for his defiance. But doesn't help him up.
They watch as Kong tries to get back up for another fight, but only to fall back down and pass out. "Guys, what the heck is going on with the big guy?!" asked Sam as she's on top of a tower.
Martin checks the scanners. "Guys, his pulse is fading…. Kong is dying, that stomp Godzilla did… Was critical and now Kong's heart is going through a form of cardiac arrest. We should… What the hell?"
They all didn't know what else to do, and then Godzilla turns around and sees the Royal Fortress and the allies onboard and sees the Jaeger watching him, Godzilla scoffs and looks to the mountain and so he roars and goes towards the mountain with one pissed off mind.
Gyro then sees where this is going. "He didn't want to fight Kong. The big ape was just getting in the way, he seeks no titan to get involved as he goes after…. Ghidorah."
Then Jordan looks to Gyro. "Where are the other titans? Mothra? Rodan? Queen MUTO? Methuselah? Behemoth? Where the heck are they?!"
"Dormant" replied Gyro. "Ordered by Godzilla, that all the titans must remain dormant while he deals with something else, and he seeks no help, not even from Mothra."
This shocks everyone who is hearing this, and the folks at Monarch hear this as well and now this makes sense as to why the other titans are not awake at the time and why they all went into hiding.
"So, what the hell do we do now?" asked Gwen, she then sees Neil take off to help evacuate more people.
Jack Cyber looks to the mountain and he lands at the top of a tower. "Guys, something is emanating a shit ton of energy and it's beginning to…" Then a red beam of proton energy blasts out of the mountain and what they see shocks them. The whole front of the mountain comes down and they see something emerge.
All of them are shocked by what they see, and all of them say one thing that comes to mind, so let's split this up on what they're all saying.
Lincoln. "Mecha…"
Gyro. "God…."
Martin. "Zilla."
They all couldn't believe what they're seeing, but there it is and armed with a shit ton of firepower and looks like it's ready for a fight. But what the hell is that thing?
MechaGodzilla.
The Mecha. The Ultimate Destroyer. Robo-Godzilla. Humanity's Greatest Weapon. Godzilla's Equal. Godzilla's Superior. The Apex Titan. Mechanized Titan.
A robotic titan built by Apex Industries and the two men who developed this monster: Walter Simmons and Ren Serizawa. He looks just like Godzilla, but he's made of metal, his forelimbs are considerably bulkier and slightly longer with four zygodactyl claws on his hands. His feet share the resemblance of King Ghidorah, its tail is a drill mounted tip.
The dreaded roar of this monster of a machine, mimics the same roar as Godzilla but mechanical and is modified with the roar of King Ghidorah.
This thing has a drill tip, very durable, missile launchers on the shoulders, thrusters for a burst of movement or leap, impressive strength and combat skills and a proton beam that is far more powerful than Godzilla's atomic breath!
The large mechanical version of Godzilla roars and looks to the city, and it begins to send its deadly Proton beam onto the remaining blocks of the city, but then it redirects its fire and destroys several dropships, and this angers the others. "No!"
The Mechanical monster Godzilla looks to everyone and makes a sound that seems like an evil laugh. Lynx Superia then begins to make a move. "Okay, that thing is so dead!" It begins to use its thrusters and it takes off, and then lands onto the city next to Godzilla.
The King of the Monsters roars and the Jaeger pulls out its sword and the duo charge at MechaGodzilla, and MechaGodzilla does the same and it fires missiles and they hit and momentarily stun the King of the Monsters and makes the Jaeger stumble and fall. "What the hell?!"
The King of the Monsters clashes with its mechanical counterpart, and Lynx Superia tries to get up, but only to be knocked away by the tail of MechaGodzilla.
Linka. "Guys, this thing is countering out attacks, and when we get involved it knocks us down… This is way too advanced than a Jaeger!"
Gyro then feels something. "Ghidorah, he's in there and has taken control of the whole mech. That thing is not Apex Corporation made, that thing is now King Ghidorah controlled! He's pulling a Transformers 4 Megatron move!"
(Why did Gyro say that? Recall when that tech company took all the transformer parts and when they made the body known as Galvatron, and then was infected by Megatron's evil chromosomes.)
"Dudes! This is insane!" Luna dodges the fight and she tries to freeze the top of the mecha monster, and it nearly hits her, then Sam comes in to shock it, but nothing and then Lori summons a lava fountain but the mecha shrugs it off and goes after Godzilla.
"This thing is literally immune to anything from the god damn earth!" said Lori. "What do we do now?!"
Martin then looks to the button that is named: Penny. "Then I guess it's time to prepare for a Royal Fight!" He pushes the button and then Royal Fortress makes many alarm sounds and the troop's onboard get ready to head to the nearest structure to take cover.
Leni looks around. "What the heck is going on? What's with the alarms?"
Gyro then takes a step to the large red glowing area. "Step here, and whatever you do, do not step off of the platform. Because what happens next, is about to get very intense, and extremely awesome!"
They do as he says and they see the platform beginning to shift, lift, change, configure and transform and they feel as if it's becoming something out of the Transformers film, but ten times bigger than Devastator.
Now, the remaining group of heroes are standing on the top of the command center area, and look down on what the hell has become of the Royal Fortress.
The Royal Battle Fortress.
Two large front portions of the floating fortress has become the arms and combined with the sides has formed shoulders and has no arms, but are instead an array of 90 missile launchers and 200 rocket silos. Every long ranged artillery weapon is now on the shoulder. The back has all the super weapons and they act as a backpack, and the Proton Collider cannon appears on the right shoulder like a main gun.
The hull of the vessel comes apart and then reassembles to form a large star-fish shaped lower half to help it stay afloat. It too is armed with tons of weapons and has the barrier generators to keep the whole thing well-defended. The whole thing has changed the size, and seems taller because of the body a top the star-shaped hull. There is a large launching bay for the Jaeger at the top.
The center of the base, along with the main buildings form the main body and a portion of the shoulder and the mid-section of the body forms a launch bay for the air force. Multiple Command Centers form the control center of the base, no head and the whole command base is the body between the arms. A naval deployment zone lies at where the hull is.
Martin laughs manically. "This is for you, Penny Polendina!" He then pushes the button. "Rockets away!"
All 100 rockets from both arms launch and they strike down onto MechaGodzilla, as he throws away Godzilla and the king of the monsters lands onto Lynx Superia. "You're welcome." But they notice a small aircraft going onto the chest of the down Kong. "What the heck?" Even Godzilla sees this and understands what those folks are doing.
MechaGodzilla looks to the battle platform and it makes the same sound as Godzilla's roar. So MechaGodzilla attacks with his proton beam, but then the Proton Collider fires a steady beam and both are equally matched.
"Suck on it you oversized mechanical bitch!" yelled Martin through the loud speaker. "When you're dead, I'm claiming you're damned metal ass! You're scrapped up to be mine, bastard!"
MechaGodzilla then fires missiles, but those missiles are intercepted by the shoulder mounted artillery guns and the many missiles launchers of the Royal Battle Fortress.
Victor smirks. "Time for the Shogun!" He pushes the button and the Shogun's Executioner is ejected from the lower part of the chest and it begins to make its way to the mecha monster and it sends a powerful shockwave making MechaGodzilla back off.
Then Godzilla comes in and he begins to bite onto the right arm of MechaGodzilla, and the robot tries to attack with his Proton Breath, but then Kong comes out of nowhere and he pulls on the head and he blasts upwards, and then Lynx Superia comes in and spears the middle of the mech.
MechaGodzilla goes down, but gets back up and hits Lynx Superia away, then Kong punches the mecha in the face and then Godzilla uses his tail and hits the mecha.
Kong grabs the right arm and Godzilla to the left and they ram the mecha onto a nearby building, and then MechaGodzilla struggles and fires its rockets onto Godzilla and this knocks back the King of the Monsters. Kong struggles to fight, but is knocked away.
"Kong!" Lynx Superia throws the battle ace and Kong catches it, and before MechaGodzilla could kill Godzilla with its drill tail, Kong comes in and fights the Mecha with his axe, but is doing no damage. More missiles hit MechaGodzilla, and this makes a good diversion for Kong to punch the mecha in the face and then make it trip using the axe.
Then MechaGodzilla gets back up and tries to kill Kong with its tail, but Lynx Superia grabs the tail and slams it to the ground and now it's stuck. But MechaGodzilla smashes its right arm into the face of the Jaeger and the two kids have been exposed. "Crap!"
But then the Mecha begins to glitch, almost like something is wrong with its control panel back at the command station from where it came from.
Godzilla sees this going on and then sends an atomic breath to the battle axe of Kong, MechaGodzilla sees this and is punched in the face by Lynx Superia and the twins see this. "Power share blast, now!" They set the Jaeger up and send a radiation blast onto the axe as well, and now its glowing red.
The others at the Royal Fortress sees this, and so Neil flies in and sends an electric swarm shock to the axe and now it's glowing purple. Hollow knows the plan and he sends a bolt of red lighting, force power to the axe and now it's glowing white.
The Royal Battle Fortress sees what's going on. Martin smirks. "Let's give them a boost!" He then celibates all weapons of the Fortress and the Proton Collider channels all the radiation energy from all the super weapons and onto the battle axe. The axe is now glowing gold!
Kong sees this and roars, and as soon as everyone stops giving the axe power, Kong swings it and with one clean strike tail of MechaGodzilla is sliced like a hot knife through butter and it makes the end tail of the mecha melt.
Then Kong slices the right arm, and then the left arm. Then he uses the severed left arm to hit the mecha in the head and make it stumble and then he slices off the right leg and then the left leg and MechaGodzilla falls to the ground.
Gyro smiles seeing this and yells out. "Finnish it!"
Kong readies for one final blow, and MechaGodzilla readies to fire, but it's too late and Kong slams down the axe and this causes a large explosion. The smoke clears and they see Kong stand on top of the dead mecha, and roars as he's holding the now severed head of MechaGodzilla!
Everyone cheers at this and Godzilla gets up, and roars. This gets Kong's attention and he looks to the King of the Monsters.
Everyone else remains silent and watches as the two titans stare at each other. Then Kong drops the head of MechaGodzilla and then looks to the battle axe, and so he drops it and this makes Godzilla roar to the weapon forged from the remains of his own kind.
The two look to each other, with a sign of mutual respect and so Godzilla leaves Kong be and goes back into the ocean, thus letting everyone check for any survivors from the whole outcome.
Kong sees that this is over and so he leans onto the building nearby and the Jaeger does the same and the two kids inside take a seat and catch their breath. "That was intense" said Lincoln.
The rest of the team watches as this is going down, with the fight over and the remains of MechaGodzilla being now investigated by FutureTech and Monarch forces. Gyro sighs in relief. 'We have a lot more to do now. This whole thing has turned into something humanity needs to be careful of.'
Hollow on the other hand looks to the wrecked mech, and he senses something. 'King Ghidorah… His essence lingers, perhaps it's time i… Took the democratic approach, and claimed such marvel.' He then contacts his Imperial forces, to begin a meeting and a big haul of something useful.
