So, this is all from the series from those who know the whole fucked up situation, but this whole event takes place after the wedding that went so wrong and struggled into chaos, the wedding that would've been an amazing ending, but changed with a relationship twist that was meant to be. Chapter 668: Welcome to… Gotham?
(Gotham City, in another DV universe.)
Welcome to Gotham, well the now rebuilt City of Gotham and still being rebuilt, and right now… A semi-truck filled with supplies for construction is driving really fast, and the driver is not some trucker who wants to have a nice cup of coffee, the driver is… Bane?!
The villain whom is notorious around Gotham is driving this truck for a damn good reason. "Alright, got what we needed and now the time has come to execute the plan, and with Riddler! Never really thought to team up with him after all we've been through…."
"But at least he's nearly as ripped as I am, and then we can commence the creation of the New Legion of Doom, and without anyone else…." Then he stops the truck and sees traffic. He honks the horn. "Come on, move it!"
He sees this blue corvette and the man in shades looks to him. "Hey! Why don't you stop honking, you jackass!" Bane gets ticked off by this.
"Gonna blow him up, but I can't right now….. So, might as well do this…." He hits the gas and the semi-truck runs over the man's car and the guy inside is crushed into a splattering mess, and the rest of the cars are shoved aside, and the man's license plate is wedged onto the front of the truck and it says: "O'MacMarvel."
Bane continues to run over everything to get to the location of his associate, Riddler. But then the truck is stopped at full speed. "What? What is wrong with this dang thing?" Bane comes out and sees the truck's wheels have been melted down and someone has chained the truck to the road.
He then sees someone in a cowboy hat and a large sword walk towards him and has fire hands. "Are you supposed to be Firestorm's father?" asked Bane.
Peter Sharp is confused and looks to the guy. "Do I look like an African-American? Wait, was that Racist? I didn't mean to say that, you just asked first."
"Not sure if it was, but unless you said the word Nigger or Black guy." Bane is then pelted by stuff from the locals of the city. "Wait! I was just giving him an example!" He then roars. "I'll crush all of you!"
But then Superman punches Bane and the large villain slams onto the truck. "Not polite to speak words such as that when the good people are around Bane, and you're going to Arkham, with Riddler."
Bane then gets off the truck and now he's enraged. "Riddler may be locked up, but I still stand and I will crush you, and the white Firestorm man, and then blow you all up!"
Peter is confused. "Wow. This Bane is a whole lot different than any Bane I have seen, also white guy? Really?" He then turns his sword into a hammer. "Let's rumble, reject superstar from the League of Shadows!"
"You will not mock the group I was formerly part of!" Bane then triggers the liquid from the veins around his suit and he grows in size and strength. "Crush you all, bones beneath my feet! And then I'm going for lunch, and blowing that one up!"
Peter looks to Superman. "He really likes to blow stuff up, doesn't he?"
Superman sighs. "Almost every time." He flies in to keep Bane occupied, and the large villain tries to smash superman, but he can't because Superman is too fast. Superman manages to land some punches onto Bane, but he's still standing.
"You cannot defeat me! I am Bane, the reckoning of Gotham and all will tremble to my might, and what I can do!" He grabs a car and tries to throw it, but then someone pierces through his shoulder, and it looks like the sharp end of a sword and is connected to a chain.
That attack came from Peter Sharp and he is on fire and in Ghost Rider mode. "Get over here!" He uses all of his strength and pulls Bane to him, and then turns the sword into a hammer and hits Bane square in the chest and he's sent towards Superman.
The man of steel stands still and grabs Bane with one hand and then he slams him to the ground, and then he backs off as Peter takes to the skies with his hammer locked on. "Hammer down!" With that one hit, Bane is knocked out.
"Secret lair…. New chair…. Blow stuff…. Shopping mall."
Peter and Superman go towards the now unconscious Bane. "Sounds like he and Riddler were planning something, but what?" asked Peter.
Superman then sees something. "Here comes the police." The cop cars arrive and coming out is Commissioner Gordon. (We all know what this…. Gordon, looks like. Jeez he's a mess.)
Commissioner Gordon goes over to the two heroes. "Huh, good work and thanks. We don't even know what he has planned along with Riddler, he helped him get out of jail weeks ago, and we don't even know why take Riddler and not Dr. Psycho."
He then looks to Peter. "You new around here?"
"Not really." Peter then gets a communication. "The rest of the team took down Riddler and he's chained, tied up and knocked out at…. The old hideout of the Injustice League."
"We'll get onto it" replied Commissioner Gordon. Then he asks. "So, you gonna go and deal with the other ordeal this city has? Because that crazy bitch and her friends are still at large."
Superman looks to Peter cautiously, but Peter assures Superman he's got this. "Superman, go and check on your own city and the rest of the world, I gotta go and meet with my team."
"Till we meet again Pyron." Superman takes off, and then Peter Harris turns his sword into his motorbike.
"Sorry Gordon, but I got other stuff to do and Harley Quinn and her crew haven't done anything wrong, yet." He then takes off at full speed and is out of sight.
Commissioner Gordon sighs. "When the time comes, she'll do something evil and when that happens, I will be the one to take down one of the most notorious criminals in all of Gotham."
The cops then begin to detain Bane, and get ready to send him back to Arkham, and then contact another police force to go to the old base of the Injustice League and find the unconscious Riddler.
(Somewhere at a building in Gotham.)
We now see Batman, Zatanna, and Wonder Woman along with Gyro and some members of the Royal Defenders. Batman, Zatanna and Wonder Woman explains to them on what has happened to their world, they are aware of who Gyro is.
"Alright, so this whole world went through a whole lot of shit, and it all began when Harley Quinn wanted to be a top rank villain" said Gyro. "That is a whole lot of shit to get by."
"At least Darkseid is dealt with, and all thanks to Harley Quinn, I guess" said Lincoln. "But what of Dr. Psycho?"
Wonder Woman answers that one. "At the moment, in Arkham and going back to his medication practices, I assume that he wasn't the best consort Darkseid has had, and we're still cautious on when Darkseid may return, and we will be ready for him."
Jordan sighs. "Let's hope so. We don't want any of those parademons to come here and cause some mayhem. That whole thing that Gyro saw through what you guys had to go through, that was so messed up."
Batman then notices Luan and the way she's dressed. "That attire of yours is gonna get you killed."
Luan sighs. "I am not Harley Quinn, I know this makes me look like her, but it's not. I am Luan Quinn, and I am no messed up girl who wants to be a super villain or even take over the world. I just wanna use my pranking skills to take down bad guys and help keep people safe."
"She is not wrong" said Gyro. "But, any word of where Harley Quinn and her associates might be?"
"Nothing" replied Zatanna. "The old base they had, which was an old shopping mall has been destroyed because of a raid from the GCPD, and now we don't know where Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, King Shark, Clayface and Sy Borgman are hiding."
"Though Sy Borgman may be a consciousness within a TV screen, through an eye ball flash drive, he's still counts as alive and no longer deceased, and he still has war crimes to answer for" said Batman.
They could all tell that even though she did help save the world from Darkseid and his parademons, Harley Quinn and her crew are still dubbed criminals and one day they will be sent to jail. Then Leon asks. "What of Commissioner Gordon? How is he holding up?"
"Leading the GCPD with a fighting spirit" replied Batman. "But I fear there might be some small issues within him that have been forged from the whole outcome of the destruction of Gotham began. I'm still keeping tabs on him, to make sure he doesn't do anything rash."
"Well, that sucks dude" said Luna. Also, the Joker? Not a bad guy anymore?"
"Doesn't seem like he's the same Joker I recall" said Batman. He then looks to the city. "He has changed and is no longer within the crime business, or he might be running some small businesses to keep a steady life, and all this time of me taking him down, now he's dealt with and all it took was the reverse chemicals from which made him who he was."
"But I'm still keeping tabs on him, to make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous or return back to his former state, and if he does, then I will send him to Arkham for as long as he lives."
They all remain silent, they can tell this is still something Batman has to get used to. His former archenemy is a man who doesn't wanna hurt anyone, unless they hurt his girlfriend Bethany and her kids. Joker is trying to live a simple life, away from the Clown Prince of Crime title.
Gyro asks Zatanna. "He still has some issues with stuff after that whole Gotham attack huh?"
Zatanna sighs. "You have no idea, but we're all pulling through and even though Lex Luthor is alive, the Legion of Doom has been undone. But if they come back, then we'll stop them. All of their villains are either dead or dismantled."
Then Peter Sharp arrives on his bike, he rode upwards to get to them, and then we see Sam Livewire, along with Linka, Boomer and Leni Ivy and they land next to them. "You guys aware that Riddler is ripped?" asked Boomer.
They all respond. "Yes."
Wonder Woman looks to Leni. "You're using your powers for good is a noble act, and you do appear to have some similarities to Poison Ivy, just blonde haired."
Leni smirks. "Well, I am impressed and I wanna show all my respect to the real Poison Ivy, she might be a villain, but she has done some good throughout her time ever since she got out of Arkham, and I also see that she is not a villain, she's more of an eco-terrorist."
Batman looks towards her. "You're not wrong, but she still has to go back to Arkham once she's caught, and we don't intend to take down Harley or her crew unless they actually do something crime related and it has been weeks since that whole wedding crash by Commissioner Gordon."
"We already made sure that no one else knows about the truth, on who really stopped Darkseid, only a few know the truth" said Wonder Woman.
"We'll make sure it stays that way" said Martin. "And though it would be optional for us to leave an outpost here, we chose not to. We don't want any of our tech to get detected or stolen and then reverse engineered by that criminal businessman, Lex Luthor."
Gyro then opens the portal back to their world. "Thanks for telling us of what happened in this world and we will be in touch." They all walk through the portal and head back to their own earth, but none of them noticed the remote controlled drone watching them.
It then speaks with the voice of Sy Borgman. "Well, this is interesting." It then flies off to inform Harley Quinn and the others.
