Ginny Weasley sighed as she exited from the grocery store with a bag full of just that – groceries. You see, Ginny was no normal woman, she was a witch. Ginny was born in the Weasley family and had lived in the village of Ottery St. Catchpole in Devon with her family for seventeen years, but had eventually moved out to live like a muggle, which means a non-magical person. She had five bothers, well, she had had six, but one of them had died fighting in the Greatest Wizarding War, fighting one of the Death Eaters, the followers who followed Voldemort, their enemy. You see, Damien Potter, or the Boy-Who-Lived, had defeated him, and ended the rule of terror over the wizards and witches. Even thinking of him made Ginny's stomach drop, though for a whole different reason.

According to the Wizarding life, she was to attend Hogwarts at the age of eleven for seven years, but her family had restrained her from going with her brothers. Why? You ask? Well, you see, Ginny was frowned upon by the Wizarding community, as it was not normal for a magical person to be born blind. Yes, you heard right, Ginny Weasley was blind. She had been home-schooled by her parents, but it was in vain as Ginny couldn't grasp the spells right due to her inability. That's why, Ginny had left the Magical World and decided to live like a muggle, among the muggles.

She was brought back to reality when she bumped into someone and fell. Oh well, she thought to herself, This happens almost every day. Despite using a walking stick, Ginny was unlucky enough to get lost in her musings and bump into someone. Most of the time, the person would ask if she was blind or what, and she would answer them yes calmly. Oh, how she wished she could see their faces when she answered them. But sometimes, the person was king enough to apologize and help her with her things. This time it was the latter.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! Here, let me help you," he apologized and started gathering her things which had scattered around. Despite being blind, Ginny's other senses were more than okay. She concluded that it was a man – perhaps her age – and that he did something which didn't include a lot of action. He had a distinctive smell of lemon coming off him as he reached for her cane. He helped her up and handed her her bag. He must have noticed that her eyes would not focus on him – which was the case with blind people – and gasped. He again apologized, "Oh, I'm so sorry. Please let me help you to your house." She tried to protest but he insisted and helped her cross the road. Ginny simply hated sympathy, but there was no sympathy in his voice. His voice just told her that he was just benign.

She told him her house's location and they were halfway through when he asked her name. "Ginny Weasley," she softly replied, fearing that he was a wizard. But when he didn't say anything, she felt relief wash through her and she asked, "What is your name?" "Harry," was all he replied. She noticed his lack of telling her his last name but set it aside as his matter. Ginny felt a pole come in her way and she turned around to pass across it, but Harry stopped her and said, "It's the road on that side. Here, let me help you."

He then proceeded to take her hand in his and led her on the other side. Normally, Ginny would have felt uneasy with some stranger holding her hand, but this was a completely different feeling. She felt… safe and secure. She felt a sense of warmth which usually indicated that you were with someone you trusted. But he was a stranger, a man whom she had met just a few minutes ago. And anyway, Ginny was in no state to trust anyone except herself right now.

They finally reached her home, and she was just feeling for the doorknob when she suddenly asked, "First, Mr. Harry, promise me that you are not some lunatic guy who will take advantage of a single-blind lady alone in a house." He chuckled and replied, "I promise that I won't take any advantage of some sort with my life." Although he didn't know, he had just bonded his life with this promise, her being a witch and all.

With that, she opened the door and felt for the light switch. She switched them on and let Harry help her with the bag, depositing them on the dining table. "Your house is nice," he commented. "Thanks," she replied, although they both knew that she didn't know how it looked like. Her twin brothers had helped her with the building of her cozy home: them being the only family member who didn't neglect her. She had always felt a strange connection with the twins, even when she was a child.

She asked him to stay for a cup of tea, and much to her delight, he reluctantly accepted the generous offer. She always liked it when she helped someone or brought. Smile on their faces (although she didn't know if they smiled), feeling as if she had done something good for the world. Making the tea took some time, she was having a little bit of difficulty locating the items. Harry offered to help, but she downright refused saying that she at least owed him this much.

The evening then proceeded rather pleasantly, the two people exchanging information about each other. She got to know that he was a famous YouTuber, while he got to know that she wrote Fanfictions on a site and did a part-time job at Hustling Girl.

"I do a part-time job at The Hustling Girl. It is a society that helps women who are abused, neglected, and thrown out of their own house."

He seemed quite impressed with that and commented that how he felt that women did not get the same amount of equality as men. This led to another round of conversation including laughing, shrieking, and agreeing. Before they knew it, it was night-time, and the moon was shining in the blue sky. The time hadn't been awkward at all and wasn't going to be either. She stood there, gripping the edge of the door and bidding goodbye to Harry. She felt a pang of sadness that she wouldn't be meeting him again; he seemed like a nice person and she would have loved to get to know him more. But the sadness vanished when he asked the next question nervously, "So… would you like to meet again sometime?" Oh, how she would have bounced up the walls!

"Yeah, sure!" However, her answer was calm. "Right, so we'll meet at the Barista day after tomorrow?" She heard the smile in his sentence and was aware that there was a distinctive amount of hope hidden somewhere. She agreed and closed the door. He had told her that he could come and pick her up, but she had declined and answered that she knew the way like the back of her hand. She leaned against the door and held back the want to shriek, oh, she was so happy! She found her way to her room and plopped down on the bed, sleep enveloping her almost immediately.

It had been an interesting day!

Harry Potter was ecstatic. His day had started as the worst day ever and then had gradually become the best day ever. He had first failed to upload his weekly video on YouTube, gaining a lot of complaints from his viewers, then he had fallen down the stairs, earning him a pair of sore buttocks. In addition to this, his favorite donuts had already been sold, forcing him to eat from Subway. But then, his whole mood had changed.

He had bumped into a beautiful girl. The moment he saw her, the only thought he could muster was, God, she's beautiful! She had different shades of red hair, which were mixed with golden strands that gleamed in the Evening Sun, with her chocolate brown eyes gleaming. Although she was petite, her body was just right. But then, he had noticed that her brown eyes didn't focus on him and she had a cane in her hand. That's when realization dawned on him. She was blind. God, people were right. Even if God didn't give someone something, he made it up by giving them something else.

He helped her with her things and was happy when she told her name was Ginny. Ginny… he had heard the name somewhere before. Whatever. She then invited him for tea, and the time went by as if it was the speed of light. They had shared many laughs, and he had felt a pang of recognition when she told him that she writes Fanfictions. You see, Harry was also reading into Fanfictions, and he had a suspicion that he knew that girl on that site.

He had been a little nervous when asking if they could meet again, but that had turned into hope when she agreed. Maybe there was a little chance that they could become friends, maybe more. He liked that girl genuinely, even if he had met her a few hours ago. He felt that sort of connection with her. She had that attitude that could make him smile, and he felt comfortable around her. He didn't know if it was because she didn't pound upon him like other girls or was blind, but he felt safe around her.

He was hyped to meet her again!

Ginny Weasley had called her best friend Hermione to help her. Hermione was a witch and was dating Fred – one of the twins – and her mindset was like him only. She had supported him when others hadn't and had even helped her settle in the Muggle world. You see, she was a Muggleborn, and she always helped Ginny when she needed something to do with Muggles. And that was why Hermione was sitting with her.

"So, what's wrong?" Hermione casually asked.

"Well, I need a dress to wear for today evening," Ginny cautiously replied. She knew Hermione too well. She knew that Hermione would become all excited and started to question her.

Well, that's what happened. "Really? Why do you want it? Where are you going? Have you met someone?" Hermione bounced on the sofa.

"Well, I haven't met someone romantically, so you can calm down. But yes, I met this guy the day before yesterday when I bumped into him, and we decided to meet again."

"The day before yesterday when you bumped into him? Ginny, you can't just go with someone whom you don't even know!" Hermione chastised disapprovingly.

"Yeah, that's why we decided to meet, didn't we? So, we could know each other more? Besides, he seemed like a good guy," Ginny defended. Although Hermione was her best friend, sometimes Hermione took the fun of irritating her.

After a few more minutes, Hermione helped her with getting ready and they bid goodbye, Hermione wishing her luck and hoping that he would be a nice guy. Ginny took her cane and locked the door, making her way to the Barista. Fortunately, she didn't bump into someone this time. After she took 129 steps, she started to feel the wall, searching for the door. She found it and opened it, immediately being bombarded with the scent of coffee.

As soon as she entered, she felt a hand grab hers. Her first reflex was to snatch her hand back, but was reassured when she heard his voice say, "It's me." His voice was enough to make her smile as she felt for his other hand. He led her to a table and helped her sit, putting her cane beside her. She then heard him sit somewhere near her, probably on her right side. He took her hand in his again, clasping it in between his. Although she didn't feel comfortable with anyone touching her, she let him.

This is going to be a fun night, she thought to herself.

Harry Potter's breath caught in his throat as he saw Ginny enter the shop. She was wearing a lilac-colored dress with her hair done in an elegant bun on top of her head. She wore matching accessories. One of her friends had helped her with this, and she had done a good job at that too. He helped her to a table and sat beside her, clasping her hand in his. He noticed that she squirmed a bit, but after a while relaxed and put her other hand on top of his.

They ordered a cappuccino and started talking. Harry asked her about her family and was fascinated by the number of brothers she had.

"Well, there's Bill, who is the oldest is married to a French woman named Fleur. He works as a hacker for the police. They have a daughter named Victory who is just a year old. He was close to me but grew distant once he was older enough. He neither discouraged me nor supported me, so I guess it's fair.

Then there's Charlie, who is two years younger than Bill. He works as a vet for an animal hospital in Romania. He is still single, and my mum is determined to play with his children, so I don't think that he will remain single for a long time.

Then there's Percy, who is three years younger than Charlie. He is a Government officer and is dating a girl from his department named Audrey. He abandoned us for a while but eventually came back. He never supported me, and always sided with my mother.

Then there is Fred and George, they are twins. They were the only ones who supported me and helped me with almost everything. When they went to school, I felt a lot lonely, but the never forgot and always wrote back to me. Fred is dating a girl named Hermione, who is also my best friend, while George is dating a girl named Angelina. You can differentiate them by there voice. Fred's is a little lighter while George's is a little heavier.

Then there's Ron. He is a year older than me and always sees himself as a superior. He doesn't like me at all and always tried to find an opportunity to criticize me. I know I shouldn't be saying bad things about my family, but that's the truth. That's why I left them and came here to live." If Harry had had this big family, he would have never left them, but he couldn't blame Ginny. The family's job was to support you, not discourage you. His relatives whom he had lived with had also been like this.

In respect of Ginny's description, he told her about his family, though not in detail. He told her that his parents had died when he was a year old while he had been left to live with his relatives who used to abuse him. He also told her that his twin had been sent to another place and he had lived there. He told her that he and his twin never got along, although he didn't tell anyone's name.

After a few hours of chatting, Harry helped Ginny to her house and they both stopped at the door. Ginny tripped while climbing the stairs but fortunately, Harry was fast and caught her just before she fell face down. Suddenly, as he saw her in his arms looking around wildly, he felt the sudden urge to kiss her but held back. He had told her he wouldn't take advantage of her. He helped her inside and tucked her in the bed, laughing as she told him that he was reminding her of her mother.

He stayed beside her until she fell asleep, silently stroking her hair. He smiled softly as he studied her angelic face. Although he had just met her, he felt as if his world would collapse if something happened to her. She was the only person who had made him smile so much, and he knew that he would become depressed if she left him. Was it possible to fall in love with someone whom you had just met? He thought to himself, shaking his head.
