You have slept on a bed

You have recovered 100% of your health and mana.

I stared at the blue translucent screen in front of me, numbly reading the text on it. Then, I pulled my hand out underneath my bed sheet and touched the screen. Instead of touching solid, my hand went through it, the box rippled yet it stayed in the air. I don't feel anything on my hand even as my wrist was cutting the box. slowly I pulled my hand back and placed it back on my lap. I looked around me to see if anything was out of place in my room. I couldn't find anything off and no one seems to come here either. Now, why was this thing there I don't know but at least it doesn't seem dangerous...

Moving out of my bed, the blue box kept following my field of vision. I reached my hand out and swiped it out of the way. To my surprise, it worked and the box disappeared from existence. "Okay..." I muttered, before doing a couple of stretches while keeping an eye out if the box reappears. My bones popped and I let out a yawn. The box was gone for good but I wondered if I slept again would it reappear. Shrugging my shoulders I went out of my room, immediately I noticed the sound of shuffling paper.

"Oh good morning." A woman greeted me in the hallway with a smile, on her hands was a stack of papers.

"Good morning Keine." I greeted back. "You're up so early, I thought there were no classes today." Keine nodded.

"There are no classes but I still have some lessons to workout so I'm still pretty busy." She laughed at the end. In my one week stay in her house, Keine was pretty hardworking though she doesn't seem to be all that stressed, unlike my previous teachers. "Anyways there's food on the kitchen table if you're hungry." I nodded and Keine headed straight towards her room. Going towards the kitchen I spotted the meal Keine left out, already I can see the many different types of vegetables on it. It was pottage, not my favorite food by a long shot but it wasn't the worst. Suddenly a blue box similar to the one when I woke up appeared above the aforementioned soup.

"What the!" I exclaimed before calming down. Glancing behind me, I didn't see Keine peering around when I shouted. Getting a closer look at the box, just like the last box it had text on it.

Pottage - Consumable

Heals 10% hp and mana

provides 1% to hp and mana regeneration for 4 hours.

"Consumable, hp, mana," I muttered under my breath as I sat down on a chair. Those terms were from video games, especially RPG. Was I hallucinating from missing home? I shook my hand and swiped the box. It disappeared just like last time I relaxed, at least Keine won't notice the giant blue box hovering inside her home. Slumping on the chair I glanced at the soup before eating it. Minutes later I finished feeling full yet nothing happened. The box said it would heal my hp and mana while providing me with a buff to regeneration. So how do I see my stats, can I just say out loud? pondering for a moment before I decided to just say it.

"status." Immediately a new screen popped up. Just with a quick look, it held a lot more information than the last two. "Can't believe that worked," I muttered before reading the very top of the box.

Name: Akarui Ai

Level: 1

Race: Human

Title: Outsider

Hitpoints: 150/150

Mana: 0/0

Experience: 0/100

Just with the first few lines, it was already familiar. I frowned at my apparent level one status, then again if this just started appearing then it was probably the beginning which makes sense why I was level one. I continue reading the box.

Strength: 3

Vitality: 4

Dexterity: 2

Agility: 3

Magic: 0

Stat points: 0

My stats were fairly balanced though I lacked magic, Considering I didn't learn any magic yet so it made sense it was zero. It was still odd to think magic exists, but seeing people fly the first time was a shocking experience. Shaking my head I continue reading.

Perks:

Still growing: As a young human, you are expected to grow rapidly till you are eighteen years old.

Provides: 25% + growth rate towards all stats except magic.

It was good but what does it mean twenty-five percent more growth? When I level up do I get more stat points to spend or does my stats go up when I level up. I shrugged I'll discover it later. Trailing my eyes downward I was nearly done reading the box.

Skills:

Observe: Observe an object or a person to see their stats.

This was probably the reason I could see the pottage's effect, though I wonder if I can see the stats of another person what would their stats be? I glance at Keine's room, but would people see the boxes as well. It would probably bother a lot of people. Sighing, I hop off the chair while swiping at the box. There was one way to find out. Walking towards the front entrance to Keine's home I opened it and stepped outside. The sun was barely out but there were already a lot of people.

"Okay let's do this," I muttered before staring at one of the people walking by. Thankfully no one saw me staring at him intently before suddenly another blue box sprang into existence in front of me.

Name: Hideo

Level: 14

Race: Human

Title: farmer

Hitpoints: 1100/1100

Mana: 0/0

Strength: 13

Vitality: 14

Dexterity: 11

Agility: 13

Magic: 0

His stats were a lot higher than mine due to being an adult I guess. Looking around for a bit no one seems to notice the blue box floating in mid-air. Taking a couple of steps closer to the street, there was still no people seeing the box even if they glance at my direction. I turned around and entered Keine's house. "So no one could see this thing," I muttered before plopping back down on the kitchen chair. Staring at the screen for a bit before dismissing it. Slumping down on my chair I wonder what I should do with this thing. My ears perked up when I heard the opening of a door, turning around I saw Keine walking down the hallway.

"Oh Akarui, you're finished with your food, would you mind if you cleaned it up for me I need to meet with someone" I would have responded with a yes when suddenly another blue box appeared right in front of her. She doesn't see it making me absolutely sure that I was the only one capable of seeing it. But before I would read it, I responded to Keine first.

"I'll do it." She gave me a smile before moving out of the house to meet someone. Turning my attention back to the screen, I started reading it.

New quest: Clean after yourself.

Objective clean wooden plate

Reward: 10 experience

My eyes immediately glued towards the ten experience reward. Immediately I grabbed the wooden plate and went outside to clean it. There were no sinks in Gensokyo so I had to make do with a water bucket. A couple of minutes later I finished cleaning and a new screen popped up.

Quest completed:

Reward: 10 experience

I nodded and check my stats and found my experience to be up by ten. I was still far off from leveling up but that single quest gave me one-tenth of what I needed to level up. If I could repeat it I would probably level up within a single day. The only problem was how do I get a quest. Keine gave me a request and it activated it. So could I just people around for things to do? That could work, but first I needed to test it. Stepping outside, I walked around for a bit. I don't really want to just walk up to a person and ask if they have anything that I can help with. As I continue walking I didn't notice something in front of me causing me to bump into it. I fell on my butt rubbing my head which I felt like I walked on to a brick wall.

"Ara, What's this." A feminine voice sounded out making me realize I bumped into someone. I hurriedly stood up and bowed.

"I'm sorry I wasn't looking." I heard chuckling causing me to look up. She was tall, taller than the average man here meaning she towered over me. She also had bright green hair and disturbingly red eyes. I took a step back, She absolutely doesn't look human. Was she a youkai, I quickly used observe on her.

Name: Yuuka Kazami

What the- why were her stats unknown. I looked up to her and saw her peering down on me with her red eyes. It was suffocating, I took several steps back but she closed the gap between us instantly. Suddenly I was embraced by her, my head was pushing into her chest. My mind was abuzz on trying to get away from her. But the moment I moved I felt like I was tied with steel chains.

"How cute seeing you afraid like this." She whispered into my ear. "Don't worry I'm not going to eat you." She cooed, although I didn't believe her one bit. Suddenly I was released causing me to fall back onto the ground. I looked up and saw her hand open towards me, I hesitated before accepting lest I anger her even further. Grabbing her hand which was surprisingly soft, I was yanked off the ground. I winced, I imagine she could easily tear off my arms if she wanted too. "My apologies if I hurt you." She said I shook my head.

"No no, it's okay." She grinned before tapping her foot on the ground.

"Now that was out of the way, may I invite you to my home for tea." She continues to give me a 'friendly grin' showing her sharp-looking teeth. I gulp, suddenly a blue box appeared.

New quest: Invitation to the Garden of the Sun

Objective: Visit Yuuka Kazami.

Bonus objective: Make Yuuka Kazami enjoy your visit

Reward: 100 experience, Yuuka Kazami's opinion on you increases

Bonus Reward: 500 experience, Yuuka Kazami's opinion on you increases a lot

Decline penalty: Decreases Yuuka Kazami's opinion on you

I quickly read the text on the box while Yuuka continues to wait patiently for my response. I could decline and be done with her, but that experience. If I decline would she try and attack me? I looked up to her and see her staring at me. God, it was creepy, I breathed in and out before I spoke. "I accept..." She smiles and clapped her hands.

"Wonderful, I will come to get you tomorrow, I'll be waiting by the village entrance at midday okay." I nodded before she saunters off parasol in hand. I released the breath I was holding. That was scary, glancing at the direction where she left, I could still see her. People were keeping distance away from her, stepping into the side when she was passing by. "I definitely should not anger her," I muttered before walking off in the opposite direction. I walked several steps before I was stopped by a girl's voice.

"Hey, you." I turned around and saw a blond-haired girl sitting on top of a levitating broomstick. She jumped off while grabbing the broom and landed just in front of me. "I saw you talking to Yuuka." She winked, I groaned.

"What do you want?" She grinned.

"Relax, I just wanted to talk to you, First time I ever saw Yuuka tease someone like that." She smirked before backing off. "Anyways I was just curious about what you guys were talking about."

"She... uhh invited me to her place for tea." Her eyebrows shot up.

"Oh wow, really." I squirmed. "And you accepted?" I nod.

"What was I supposed to do, I thought she was going to kill me if I decline." she shook her head.

"Nah Yuuka doesn't kill people, she just talks big about genocide and all that." That doesn't really assure me. "Oh yeah, bit rude of me but I forgot to introduce myself." She tipped her poofy hat. "Names Marisa Kirisame, nice to meet you..." She drawled out.

"Akarui Ai." She nodded.

"Nice to meet you Ai, say you ever need to defend yourself from youkai with some magic come see me at my shop in the forest of magic." I nodded.

"I'll think about it." Wait, magic, could she possibly teach me magic.

"Okay then, good luck with your visit to Yuuka." With that, she hopped on her broom and flew off. Staring at her rapidly disappearing figure I turned and headed back to Keine's place. The previous objective failed, at least I had something to do tomorrow. Hopefully, Keine has something about Yuuka. I should have also asked that Marisa girl what Yuuka likes.

"It probably has something to do with flowers," I muttered remembering Yuuka's title. Flower Master of the Four Seasons, whatever that means. I sigh as I enter Keine's home. She wasn't here, it was probably going to take a long time for her to come back from her meeting with someone. Sliding the door open to my room, I entered it. My room was barren and empty save for a single drawer, although it was spacious. Maybe I should decorate this room, but I should probably get Keine's permission first. Suddenly another blue box appeared, I quickly swipe it out of the way.

"Quest," I muttered to see if I can check it. And I was right, another blue box appeared.

Quest list (2)

Find a way home

Objective: Find a way to get back into the Outside world.

Reward: 1000 experience, + 10 to all stats

I frowned, Keine said the person who can supposedly return me home was sleeping... I don't know if that was a joke or not but I guess I would be stuck in Gensokyo for who knows how long. But I guess my way out is already planned. But then again the quest is still incomplete so maybe I have to do something first to complete it. Or the person who could return me home wouldn't let me for whatever reason. Well, whatever reason it is I can't do anything about it. Trailing my eyes downward I continue reading.

Decorate your room

Objective: Decorate your room with furniture

Reward: 500 experience

It was definitely doable though I don't know how I'll get the money to buy furniture. I fall back on my bed feeling tired, perhaps I should go back to sleep. I let out a yawn as I close my eyes. By the time I woke up again and I can hear the hustle and bustle of the streets inside my room. Feeling my stiff body, I stood up and stretched again. I wonder if Keine was back from her meeting, well one way to find out. Taking a step outside my room, I walked towards Keine's room. Knocking on the door, I was greeted with the sound of footsteps inside. The door opened and Keine stood in front of me looking at me curiously. The smell of ink wafted from her room and I notice a small amount of ink covering her hand, mainly her palm.

"Ai? do you need something." I do need some quest but I guess I could just ask for some random chores to do.

I shook my head. "No, I don't need anything, but I was sort of wondering if you could give something to do." She furrows her eyebrows at me as if I did something wrong. Why is she looking at me like that, I was basically just asking for chores something almost every child dislikes. "Uhm Keine, why are you looking at me like that."

"You don't have to you know, I can handle it." I shook my head, I really want that exp.

"I want to so can I please help, besides I have nothing to do." We stare at each other for a few seconds before she sighs.

"Fine, but I'll warn you I will give you a lot of work." I shrug, much better than doing nothing besides I'd be earning experience so I was hitting two birds with one stone. As expected a blue box appeared, quickly I read it.

Help Keine by doing chores.

Objective: Do the chores Keine gives to you.

Reward: Varies

It's a bit odd for the reward to not specify what amount I get but I guess its fine. "So what's my first chore to do." Keine looked thoughtful for a moment probably thinking of the chores I'm going to do.

"Well, you can do the laundry I haven't been able to do it, I assume you know how to do laundry right." I nodded, even though it was half a truth. I do know how to do laundry not by hand but by machine. But it seems simple enough. "Good then get going I still have things to do." She gestures to her room, I nodded before leaving to go do laundry. I found the two wooden basins containing both of our clothes. Approaching the two tubs, my hands went to the sides of one and using my two hands tried to lift it. It was heavy, far heavier than I expected. But I managed to lift it to my chest, waddling outside I managed to get outside and plopping it down next to the hand pump.

"I should definitely invest some of my points into strength," I muttered, shaking my head I went ahead and started. Ten minutes later as I was well into cleaning my clothes a blue box appeared. I took a quick look at it and was pleasantly surprised.

Through rigorous physical activity, you have gained one point to vitality.

I just got one point into vitality, I guess I can earn points by training. That means I don't need to level up to earn stats. Maybe I won't be so bored after all, I could train during my spare time and get even more points. Nodding to myself, I realized I still had to finish the laundry. thirty more minutes later I was finished. I stood up and stretched, my back hurt a lot. Disappointingly enough I didn't get another point. Sighing to myself I grabbed the pile of laundry and started hanging them. Half an hour later I went back to grab the second tub this time it was Keine clothes.

Waddling through the door that I barely managed to get open I plopped the wooden tup on the ground. Another blue screen appeared and I read it quickly.

Through lifting heavy objects you have gained one point to strength

I smiled before closing the screen, I still have work to do. hanging the last of Keine clothes I grabbed the wooden tub and placed it back inside. A blue screen appeared signaling the completion of my heroic quest.

You have completed one of Keine chores

Reward: 50 experience

I frowned I expected it to give me a lot more experience, I have been doing laundry for two hours and all I got was a measly fifty exp. I sigh no use complaining at least I gained two stat points during the chores. Welp, I still feel energetic a side effect of this thing I have maybe. Shrugging my shoulders I went to Keine's room to report on my finished chores. knocking on Keine's door, it opened up revealing a slightly haggard-looking Keine. "Keine I just finished cleaning the laundry," I said noticing the regretful look on her face.

"Oh, uh it wasn't too hard for you was it?" I shook my head, It wasn't but it was damn annoying. The only reason I wasn't complaining I did this by my own will and I got something out of it.

"No, it's fine it wasn't that bad." It didn't placate her at all. She shook her head blueish hair swayed about a firm look settled on her face.

"Wasn't that bad, you have been cleaning clothes for two hours aren't you the slightest bit tired." This could be bad, this could lead to an argument I don't want. I sigh in my mind, Keine is such a nice person, but I want my exp. I just hope I could at least convince her to let me do chores albeit less taxing ones.

"No Keine, I am not tired not in the slightest." She still doesn't believe me. "If you are really worried about me then I'll just rest whenever I'm too exhausted." She wanted to argue, though I held my ground.

"Are you really sure about this?" I nodded and she sighs. "Fine but promise me that you will not overburden yourself got it." She gave me a look to which I nod again.

"I promise." She nodded and glanced at her room.

"It's almost midday want something to eat?" I nod, she left the room and went to the kitchen with me silently following her. I sat down on the chair while waiting for her to finish cooking our meal. It didn't take long for her to cook our food and so we ate. Whilst eating I remember about going to Yuuka's place to visit her. I shudder as I remember my encounter with her. If I could help it I would have declined but it could have made it worse. Still with extra five hundred experience and an improved opinion on me would be worth it. But how do I make her enjoy my visit? I looked at Keine, she was the teacher in this entire town so she must know something about Yuuka. I was knocked out of my thought when Keine spoke.

"Are you ok Ai, you're not touching your food." I blink and saw Keine's worried look. I shook my head getting lost in thought would raise Keine's suspicion on me.

"No I'm fine, I was just thinking." She looked at me concerned.

"Are you sure, I'm sorry if I seem pushy but I'm curious about what you're thinking." I gulp, as much as I don't like it I need to lie to her or else she would not allow me to visit Yuuka. So something about missing my home should do.

"I." I paused, hesitating if I should continue. Steeling myself I continued with my lie. "... I miss my home." Immediately I saw the sympathetic look I was given by her. My heart clenched, oh man this felt bad.

"Bear with it Ai, I promise I will get you home." Her hand reached over to mine and clenched it. I gave her a wry smile.

"Thank you, Keine." She was kind, which made me feel even worse for my lie. Unclenching her hand, we continue our meal peacefully though I noticed a determined look on her face. I sigh in my mind, I feel bad. Suddenly the blue screen appeared.

New skill unlocked: Lying

"..." Wordlessly I swiped it out of the way once Keine wasn't looking at my direction. Once we were finished eating I offered to clean the dishes, but Keine refused. I didn't try to insist this time, if this is what she wants so be it. Walking to my room I sat down on the ground cross-legged, I really need a chair and a table in this room. I still need to find a way to impress Yuuka. That Marisa girl I just met knows her maybe she could help. A blue box appeared.

Mission updated: New objective

Talk to Marisa about Yuuka

Reward: 100 experience

Okay, quests could get new objectives. Extra exp for me, but as I got up. I wonder where I can talk to Marisa, she said she runs a shop in the magic forest but I assume that was outside the human village. Keine thought me that Youkai prowled outside the human village and if you aren't careful they will eat you. I trust Keine's words and I would rather not be eaten. Standing up I stretched and wondered what to do. I could go out and try to see if Marisa was still here but I don't think I can meet her a second time. I have a lot of time and not much to do. Then it hit me, I could do some exercises and increase my stats. I only know how to do a push but I don't think dumbells exist in Gensokyo.

I nodded I could do this. Getting on the ground I started doing push-ups. Already I have done several sets with me doing fourteen push-ups each. One obvious thing I noticed was the fact I recovered a lot faster. It didn't even take ten minutes before the soreness on my arms to completely disappear. Three sets later I managed to gain one more point into strength. Another five sets later I gained a point into vitality. I stopped after that, the wooden floor that I was doing push-ups on had a puddle of sweat. The kimono that I wore was covered in sweat yet I was still not tired. Taking off my clothes I quickly changed for fresh new ones. Going outside my room I tiptoed my way to Keine's room and placed my ear on her door.

I could faintly hear a brush writing on a piece of paper. How long does she work? Shaking my head I walked away from her room before she opens the door. I sat down on a chair pondering what to do. "Maybe I should just take a walk around town," I muttered bored out of my mind. With a sigh, I stood up and walked to the front door. Opening the door I saw white.

"Uhh..." I look up and saw dark red eyes looking, I took a step back... and another. She was tall, probably by the fact that she was older than me. She surprisingly wears a white shirt and red pants with overalls going to her back. This was the first time I saw pants let alone a shirt in Gensokyo. "Yo is uhh... Keine here?" I blinked and slowly nodded.

"She's here, but... who are you." She scratches the back of her head.

"Name's Mokou Fujiwara, I'm Keine's friend and who are you supposed to be." She asked before her eyes widen. "Oh wait you're the kid Keine took in right." I nodded, Keine probably told her. I relax though I wonder why she had red eyes was she a Youkai like Yuuka? I used observe on her.

What the hell is a Hourai immortal. I kept that in mind later in favor of answering her question. I bowed "You are correct, my name is Akarui Ai, a pleasure to meet you miss Fujiwara." I looked up and saw her crinkling her nose at me.

"Well nice to meet you too, but don't call me Fujiwara, Mokou is good enough." I raised an eyebrow but nod nonetheless. Suddenly I hear Keine's voice from behind us.

"Mokou what are you doing here?" Mokou looked somewhat embarrassed.

"Oh, I was just coming to visit you and hang out Keine, so you could rest for a bit." Mokou gave a worried look towards Keine. Meanwhile, I silently moved towards the side this wasn't my conversation. Though I definitely agreed with Mokou on Keine needing some rest. she has kept working from morning to now with occasional breaks in the form of meals. Gensokyo Definitely needs more teachers, Keine can't handle being it's only teacher.

"I appreciate your offer Mokou but I am fi-" Keine was cute off when Mokou pressed a finger on her lips.

"Don't give me that, when you visited me, I noticed the ink stain on your hand." She pointed her finger at Keine's hand. Keine blushed and tried to hide her hand. "You've been working ever since morning Keine." Keine didn't reply though she stared at the floor instead. Seeing Keine being scolded like a child was definitely surprising. Mokou sighs "You need to rest sometimes Keine, Can't let the kids see how tired you are got it." By the time Mokou finished her sentence, I was already out of the house, they didn't see me leaving the house, so I was free to walk around the village.

"That was awkward," I muttered, I did not expect Keine of all people to be scolded for overworking of all people, Mokou was right. I didn't notice Keine ever taking at least an hour-long break, she was always writing making new lessons, all things teachers do. I shook my head, hopefully, Mokou can convince Keine on resting for today. I walked around aimlessly, observing the day to day going off the villagers. In the past weak that I was here, I didn't leave Keine's house not once except for a few times recently.

The village was quiet even if I could hear the background noise of the hustle and bustle in the market square. It was nothing compared to the loudness of the city. I continued walking until I reached one of the gates that lead to the outside of the village. There I stood a fair distance away from the gate. The gate had several guards all wearing Medieval armor and wielding spears. Suddenly I felt a hand tap my shoulder, turning around I saw a blond-haired man. He looked to be middle-aged since I noticed his hair was graying. He also had a satchel around his shoulder.

"Hello young man, are you trying to get outside the village." He said with a warning tone, I took a step back. He was giving me a look.

"Uhh no." He stared at me harder before he sighed.

"Good, I don't know if you heard the news but there was an incident where a child was missing when he was playing outside the village." He gave another sigh a worried look on his face. "People think it was a Youkai who did it but you never know." My heart thumped and an uneasy feeling came to me. Could Yuuka possibly be the one who killed the child? "So anyway, try not to go outside okay." I nodded, he seems satisfied enough with my answer and left. Suddenly I wasn't in the mood to wander. Left alone with my thoughts I start to walk back to Keine's.

"Would Yuuka really kill me?" It seemed like it was obvious. With her invitation, an obvious trap but something stupid and careless children would accept. I shook my head, I made up my mind I would refuse Yuuka. Walking back home silently, I notice people talking about the missing child. Finally, I arrived at Keine's front door, without bothering to knock I entered the house. I don't hear anyone in the house so I closed the door behind me and entered my room. Lying down on my futon I stared at the wooden ceiling. The fear and anxiety died down but I could still feel it. Shifting to my side, I wonder how would Yuuka react to me not showing up.

Would she be mad and try to hunt me down or would she accept that I wasn't suicidally stupid and find another target? Then again Marisa said Yuuka didn't kill people but how much could I trust her words. I shifted back to staring at the ceiling. "Status," I said mindlessly, a blue box was willed into existence.

Stat points: 0

I got two additional points in both strength and vitality. It was pretty noticeable since now I could do thirty push-ups but gaining points in strength and vitality were slowing down. I need to do something more difficult than push-ups but what? As I was thinking another blue box appeared.

New quest: Training regimen

Objectives: Create a regimen that will allow you to grow all your physical stats

Reward: 250 experience, + 5 to stat growth cap

I blinked when I read the last three words. "Stat growth cap... what does that mean." I cleared that thought and instead focused on the objective of the quest. It seemed fairly easy, strength doing pushing ups and lifting weights. Vitality is endurance and as you continue to do tiring things it will grow naturally. Agility is being fast so trying to run faster and faster seems like a way to go. The only thing I wasn't sure about was magic and dexterity. But, magic wasn't included since the mission said that it was physical stats only.

I scratched my head as I try to remember what dexterity meant but all I could draw was blank. I sigh, I guess I'll ask Keine what it meant later she was a teacher after all. Speaking of the devil I heard the sliding door open. Getting up I opened the door and entered the hallway. Keine was in the kitchen preparing something.

"Hey, Keine." She snaps her head at me, eyes wide in surprise.

"Ai! where were you, I was talking to Mokou when you just disappeared." I gave her sheepish a grin.

"Well I wanted to go out on a walk, I just happen to meet Mokou on the doorway."

"Oh, I see..." Keine looked slightly disappointed. Wait did she wanted me to come with her? I shook my head, anyway I need answers on dexterity.

"By the way, Keine do you what dexterity means." She looked at me oddly before answering.

"Dexterity is a skill especially related to the hand." I furrowed my eyebrows, Skill with the hand. Maybe throwing something could increase it. I nodded, I think I found my answer. I just hope I'm correct.

"Alright thank you, Keine." Before she could respond I stepped back into my room and shut the door. It may seem rude but it was a technique I used whenever I asked something potentially embarrassing, besides Keine isn't a person that is easily offended. Sitting on my futon I start to plan my training regimen. Minutes later I finished the training regimen. The awaited blue screen fizzled into existence and I quickly read it.

Quest completed

I don't know why I expected a funny sound to appear out of nowhere. Shaking my head I muttered. "Status." And another blue box appeared.

Name: Akarui Ai

Experience: 10/300

Mana: 0/0

So how do I allocate my points, so I just tapped the strength one? Immediately, it changed from a five to a six. I nodded, I placed one point into vitality and the rest into dexterity. I flicked the box causing it to disappear. I don't feel anything different. I poked my stomach and to my surprise instead of sinking into soft fat, I was expecting. It was hard muscle, I gulp my body changed a lot. What would happen if I get to one hundred points into strength would I look like those bodybuilders. I shook my head I didn't want to look like that.

"What now," I muttered, glancing at my window the sun was about to set. There were still several hours before bedtime. Suddenly I feel a sinking feeling in my stomach. Oh yeah Yuuka, I gulped. I still wasn't sure if I should go or not, my gut feeling was telling me that she wouldn't hurt me. But, my logical side told me that she was a Youkai a creature that ate humans. Shaking my head, maybe tomorrow I'll finally decide.
