The catch is the character that she become meets a tragic death. So, will she meet the same fate or change fate? Will there be a new consequence?
A/N: Before getting started into the story, just a few things to clear 1) Goo Hae Jin is a big fanatic of the novel Scarlet Heart: Ryeo"2) The novel Scarlet: Ryeo is the most famous fictional tragic love story between noblewoman Hae Soo and Prince Wang So 3) The novel doesn't address the time travel arc, just the love story with no relation to these things in mind, let's get started.
I am changing the plotline so that the timeline and visions are covered as there is no time traveling will few major plot Hae Soo and Wang So character's are portrayed at your own risk.I got this idea while reading a Manhwa, "Surviving as a hero's wife". It's really good and funny. I would definitely recommend it.

Last thing I remember being in a car accident; suddenly, everything was black, and it was cold, so cold. When I woke up, I was in the body of 15 years old girl named Hae Soo, the name of my favorite character with Hae Soo's childhood memories, but my memory of Goo Hae Jin was also there , it was confusing. Later I realized I was in a book and in the main character's body when I came across people with the same name as the book character: Lady Hae, 8th Prince, Princess Yeon Hwa, and Chae Chung. I started accepting my fate of character by getting bullied by Yeon Hwa. There were many days I spent thinking and crying about why didn't I go afterlife. Wasn't it enough that I suffered last lifetime? Now, I have to walk towards my impending death. It's been a year since I came into Hae Soo's body; I realized that I am stuck here and can only move forward. Hae Soo and I had enough of tragedies that could last for 7 lifetimes. Not anymore, I, Goo Hae Jin, will make my path, life happily with my Prince's charming. I will do whatever to achieve it.I trust myself and my knowledge about the book. I even petitioned the blue house to start the drama series based on this book. I am the president of the SoSoo fan club. We get discounts from the shop that release poster and figurine of the character. I am the only one who can pull it off, don't worry, Hae Soo, we will have a happy ending.I called for Chae Rhung, my lady in waiting who is secretly in love with 9th Prince, works as his spy, and meets a tragic end because of her love. I need to be wary of her and a lot of other people. I need to start working fast and survive.
"Could you please get me some ink and paper?
"Is everything alright, Miss?"
"Yes, Chae Rhung. I am bored, and I need to practice a lot of reading and writing". Chae Rhung looked weirdly at her lady; why wouldn't she? Chae Rhung knows her lady hates reading and writing and loves playing. Today is the last day to live sorrowful and pitiful life; tomorrow, it will be a wonderful day and begin the new phase of my life.
The cleansing ritual is drawing near, the story plot of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo will start tomorrow. All these days, I cooped into my room, writing down the original story's actual plotlines along with a timeline and the characters involved. I started taking etiquette class, concentrating on my studies, practice making health care and make-up products, and spending time with Yeon Hwa and other noblewomen. Everyone was amazed by my changes, which i did it very slowly so that it's not abrupt. I am keeping a family book which contains information about their family members, their business, their allegiances to the crown through which Prince's seat. Myung Hee was happy to talk about the other noble family and their history. No one doubted my intentions as I never read books on politics, business, or trade. I stuck to books meant for women. I am ready for tomorrow. Come what may, I am going to find my own happy ending.
The next day, I sneaked out with Chae Rhung to the secret path to Damiwon's bath, which is where the story begins. I stuck to it. Initially, I did not want to look like a pervert or pedophile, but this is where I have a romantic encounter with half-naked Prince So. If he is anything like my imagination, dark-haired, tall, chiseled chest with six-packs, of course, the scar. He is a hottie. I can never pass a chance to ogle my Prince charming. According to the plot, Hae Soo has a crush on the 8th Prince, but others thought she likes 14th Prince. she comes here to play peeping tom, then she trips into the pool, loses her mother's pendant, and run away with Chae Rhung. That's what I am going to do. On the way to the secret path, Chae Rhung was talking while I was trying to remember the way which would help on the day my prince charming comes to the bath. I was anxious because this my the first time I am going to see all the Prince. Staying with Myung Hee and sharing lessons with Yeon Hwa, I have never encountered with other princes. I meet the 8th Prince only in the presence of Myung hee and Yeon Hwa. I never met his graze and spoken to him directly. I am an orphan, so was Hae Soo. Unlike Hae Soo, I didn't have a sister who loves me unconditionally. Though she will die soon, I am trying to give her happy memories by dressing-up, playing as her doll to dress me up, and talking with her about her date with her husband. Like usual siblings interaction except pranking and fighting. I am happy to see her reached the secret tunnel, and I climbed to peep into the Damiwon pool. Here it goes, my first act towards my happy ending. "Accidentally," I tripped in the pool. I didn't know how Hae Soo stayed underwater so long. Thank god, I know swimming and how to hold my breath; I was also practicing during my bath. I arose from the water to see a half-naked child-like prince who was staring back at her and screamed before escaping through a secret entrance before getting caught. I breathed a sigh of relief to escape without any damage while Chae Rhung was abashing me. I smiled when I realized that I had dropped my mother's pendant before running back to 8th Prince Quarters. I will come later to pick it up alone. When I returned, I sneaked to change out of my wet clothes and hoped no one found out about my embarrassing act, especially Yeon Hwa.
Yeon Hwa is an independent woman who earns power; she doesn't care about love or other things. She belittles me because I am an orphan-adopted daughter. She never acknowledges my presence because I am useless for her path. I know what she wants; I spend a lot of time with her because she is my antagonist who steals my Prince and my life. I needed her to trust me that I would never stand in the way of her power quest. As a fellow independent woman, I will always take her side on the debate with our teachers and her brother. Sometimes, I play dumb so that she doesn't feel I am over-powered by her. Recently, my presence is getting acknowledged, but that doesn't stop her from bullying me
The next day morning, the 8th Prince requested me to meet him. I know why he was calling, to ask about the Damiwon incident. Even now, I cannot understand why Hae Soo liked her sister's husband. I know he is compassionate and caring as he was willing to take an orphaned girl under his care and provide the same level of education as his sister. I remember the conversation between Hae Soo and the 8th Prince. I am sticking to the same explanation with blushing or shying to make him feel something for me
I knocked into his private study room. I heard a voice, "Enter." This is the first time I will talk with him alone since I entered into Hae Soo's body. I musted my courage and entered his room. He was standing near the bookshelves. I should acknowledge that he is damn handsome when he is casual no wonder Hae Soo had hots for him. I would, too, if I didn't know the existence of my Prince charming. Hae Soo, your taste in men is excellent when compared to mine. All this while, I never bother to look at his face. He didn't notice me yet; I averted my eyes and greeted him. I could feel his graze on me and could hear his footsteps towards me
'"Lady Hae, How are your studies going on?"
"Thanks to your benevolence, your highness. I am faring and able to read a few medicinal scripts to help my sister."
"Good, Good. Keep working. Then, can I ask you why you were at Damiwon pool?"
I knew this was coming, but I have to act surprised. I lifted my face to stare at him shockingly before averting my eyes. "I was walking around the outskirts of the city, I found a secret path while exploring when I ventured further to find pool but I tripped into the water. I didn't know it was palace grounds till I arose from the pool," I was explaining animatedly as I was tiring to remember. I stopped to see him smiling at me. I averted my eyes from his graze once again. Damn, he looks good, and damn, he is already into me. I have to spend another sleepless night researching about it. I didn't hear what he said after. I was dismissed with a stern warning that I should never go there again else I will be punished.
In the afternoon, I joined other noblewomen, including Yeon Hwa and Myung Hee, to prepare decorations for the festival. We had to make a lotus lantern since my mind was occupied with the previous meeting. I messed up a few lanterns and crudely dismissed by Yeon Hwa to make glue in front of other women. As I occupied myself with the heinous task, I saw the royal physician walking out of the residence. I was excited and happy. If things went as per my plan today morning, I know I would have looked forward to this moment for the entire day like last night. Unfortunately, I forgot one of the most romantic moments in the novel because of my overconfidence and disappointment. I remember rating this moment as one of the top 10 romantic encounters between SoSoo. I followed Myung Hee's physician out of the residence. According to the novel, Hae soo found Myung Hee Physician's presence in the household; she was worried about Myung Hee's health, so she followed him to find out why he was here? There she meets her Prince for the first time.
I was a nervous wreck. Being a fangirl, I imagined myself as Hae Soo in all the top 10 movements; I could feel butterflies flying in my stomach and a smile covering my face. I know my face will be red, but I couldn't stop myself from walking towards the ravine. Then, I heard horses neigh; I turned to look around; it wasn't slow like how movies, dramas, or my imagination showed it. It was pretty fast before I could turn; I can feel my falling down, I closed my eyes for the impact, but I could feel myself floating in the air. When I opened my eyes, there was my Prince charming holding me tightly in his arms. The horse stopped, and I was thrown off the horse. I knew it was coming, but the pain was terrible. I got angry and lost my cool."You jerk; how could you throw a woman off the horse like that?" I stood up while rubbing my lower back. He was quiet, "I should call the guards to arrest you for riding the horse in narrow in the street and terrorising the people," he responds by rearing the horse. That damn stallion stood with his front legs up, scared a shit out of me, and I fell on my back again while he rode off. That jerk, he is no prince charming; he is an evil prince. Next time when I see him, I will give him a taste of his own medicine. The bystanders were telling me how lucky I was to be not killed by the 4th Prince. I realized this isn't how Hae Soo acted during the incident. Hae Soo was a soft-spoken, docile, little woman. She is a teenage girl brought up with thoughts of finding a suitable husband. Even after the harsh treatment, she thanked the Prince for saving her life, which he threw her off guard and made him to seek her and protect her. Whereas I, quite the opposite, a girl who cannot control her anger. Being an orphan, getting physically bullied made me strong.I can bear verbal assault as I was called "thick-skinned," but I cannot control anger when physically assaulted. I was a black belt in Judo. I sat down and cried, thinking how today was not my day. First, I find, 8th Prince fancies me. Second, I yelled at 4th Prince instead of thanking him before listing other things that went wrong. Chae Rhung found me crying and informing me that Yeon Hwa was looking for me. She thought I was crying because of Yeon Hwa's bullying; I let her believe that when she was consoling me on the way back to the residence
As punishment for skiving off my duties, I was asked to bring tea and snacks to other princes in 8th Prince private study. I carried it along with Chae Rhung. I planned to escape without getting caught, but all in vain when 10th Prince was recognized from the bath. I pretend to be anxious, but I knew that Princess Yeon Hwa and 8th Prince would stand for me according to the plot. Hae Soo sneaked off to spend time with Myung Hee when she was followed by the 10th Prince. After getting dismissed on Yeon Hwa, I managed to run away from the room; I noticed that a cheeky little perverted bastard was peeping at Chae Rhung. I confronted him, he dodged off and ran away from her. While running behind him, I tripped again on her skirt and fell on top of the 10th Prince, making to fall on the ground. The sound of pain emitted by the 10th Prince attracted other Princes to come outside to see both Hae Soo and the 10th Prince was on the ground. The day was exhausting; I regret deviating from the actual story plot. I pretended to be unconscious, only to be lifted off the ground by someone. It wasn't her evil prince nor the stalker prince, but it was someone else. I could hear other princes scolding the 10th Prince for accusing and hurting Hae Soo. Though it was a different purpose, I liked the fact that the perverted Prince deserves some bashing. I was taken to my room, followed by Myung hee who started fussing over me. I pretend to be waking from unconsciousness only to find the 13th prince, and Myung Hee was staring down at me."You little child, couldn't you be careful while playing. Now you and 10th Prince are hurt.
"I am sorry, sister," slurring it as much as possible."Don't worry, I will protect you; sleep now, child." I did as she commanded. I couldn't sleep after a few hours; I woke up to see the sky was orangish hue indicating that the sun was taking a break for the day. I was walking on the premises all alone to see the evil Prince walking towards me. I was so angry at him for his previous rude behavior, but I collected thoughts to thank him for saving my life. He bumped me, which made me fall again; how many times can a person fall down in a single day? I questioned myself. I shouted at his back, "You jerk." He turned at looked at me while I stood up and dusting mud off her clothes. I stormed toward him, "you really don't know how to treat women or a person, do you?" He turned away to walk away from me. I caught his biceps, "Apologise now, I won't report your rash riding and forget about your mistreatment." "Why should I apologize? Who are you, and how can you touch royalty?". He smirked when I dropped my hands, cheeky bastard. "If I am a slave, you treat me like dirt, but if I am a princess, you will treat me like a flower?" I questioned him, which threw him off. I smirked we are tied. Look like I struck the cord; he leaned closer to my face while leaned back in reflex. "If I apologize, you would have to die, is it alright?". I got scared. No, I don't want to die early. He began to apologize 'I am so," but we were interrupted by Myung Hee. They both greet each other while ran towards her side and gripped her hand. My sister asked me to accompany me on detecting weird tension. While walking away, I couldn't help, but I turned to stick my tongue out to him, but I never expected him to stare at me. I turned my face away in mortification. I am going to die for sure.
Myung Hee guided me to the tower of the rocks. This plot comes later in the story when Myung Hee discovers that 8th Prince-like Hae Soo. Myung Hee will tell Hae Soo that her prayers for her were answered through the 8th Prince's affection towards her. Though it was an adorable interaction between siblings, what happens now?############################################################################################################
