The list of options there was massive, making it almost impossible to complete in a quick time frame. So he eventually gave up and just tried to build an optimal character sheet with his limited number points.
Being stuck as a fallen had really limited his immediate options upon getting into the world of DxD. He had focused on trying to make it so he could remain as independent as possible while still having a failsafe to remain somewhat influential should everything go to shit.

Having an influential parent was almost a must in the world of DxD if you were unable to remain neutral. Being a gamer he expected to gain strength rapidly and if he were a random bum someone would take notice and possibly challenge his rise or seek to sabotage or even kill him. He could even be forced into possible slavery.
Having a parent that was high up in the Grigori (the faction he obviously chose) or even being a cadre would be a great advantage in surviving the initial challenges in this world, while also having the potential to have a strong base power level. The sacred gear could potentially be an overpowered Longinus or a simple twice critical, either way he got something with the potential to be absurdly powerful.
While he couldn't remember much of the story outside of the first few arcs. He knew there was some overpowered shit he was going to have to eventually deal with. Dragon gods, Indian gods and Super Devils were only a small part of the broken world.

So his system used DnD's core stats and he could increase them through training. The latter would hopefully make up for his lack of dungeons.
"Training can only get you so far natural talent and other sources of power amplification will be needed if you don't plan on leveling up. Leveling up is the easiest way to increase your stats, but that will be a problem without dungeons wont it?

Hello this is my second shot at a fic. Deleted the first one and it probably wont return as some of the waifus are getting used in this and i lost all inspiration for it.
