"What am I doing here?

Naruto looked around seeing the inside of his mind, the sewer like area that led to Kyuubi's cage. Speaking of, in front of him was Kyuubi himself, looking at him with his normal hate but also a deep confusion. "What are you doing here, Runt?"

"I don't know, I just went to sleep and now I'm here."

"That would be my doing." Both Naruto and the Kyuubi jumped at the voice, a women's voice soft and sweet and very warm. Naruto turned to where he swore he heard the voice, and lo it was there. A women, taller then he was, with beautiful red hair dressed in a green dress with a white top. She was stunning to Naruto, he felt a flush cover his face at the sight of her. "Hello Naruto, Kyuubi… it has been too long." Before Naruto could ask who the hell she was, the strange women threw herself at him, wrapping him in the warmest hug. "I have missed you, my son."

"Son... I...your..."

"Kushina!" The Kyuubi's voice echoed with rage as it tossed itself against the bars of it's cage, screaming wrathfully as he did so. "Get over here so I can devour your!"

The women sighed, grabbing Naruto's hand warmly, leading him towards the Giant Fox. "No you won't hurt me, because I am going to offer you a way to forgive me. A way that I can make up for my misdeeds towards you and offer you a greater future then anyone else can. In return you will help our son."

Naruto was confused, too confused to ask what the heck she meant, but Kyuubi only sighed and sat down. "I cannot feel any lies coming from you... make your offering and I will see what I think about it."

The women, Kushina apparently nodded. "First let me introduce myself to Naruto fully, he is confused and this offer affects you both." She turned to Naruto and clapped her hand, causing the entire room to shift. Naruto stumbled, as suddenly he was greeted with the sight of a fireplace and library like room. There was a carpet on the floor and Kyuubi's cage had shifted entirely, vanishing leaving Kyuubi with a collar and a long chain. " I cannot break the seal but I can offer you more freedom... now...Naruto, my name is Kushina Uzumaki. I am your mother."

Tears exploded from Naruto's face. " No, that can't be true, you can't be... why would you be here, I..."

"Your father and I sealed a portion of our chakra into your seal, normally we would only come out when you needed us under very specific circumstances but after seeing how worthless Jiriaya was for your training I deemed it a worthy change." She smirked and Naruto swore he saw himself in her face, his reflection and mischievousness. "My part only activates when you try to control Kyuubi's chakra but since that is what Jiraiya is teaching you and he weakened the seal I could come out far earlier then anticipated. Now I I am sure you have questions but we have to hold off on that Naruto. I must give my offer to Kyuubi for I require his help if I am to stay more then ten minutes or so... can you be quiet for me Naruto, until I make my offer?"

Naruto nodded, excited and happy, sitting comfortably on the couch that appeared with his mother, all but burying himself in her side. " Of course, please, just don't leave me."

"If all goes as I wish, I can stay for a year... now... for my offer. When you were a baby Naruto, the day you were born, a man, an Uchiha, attacked. I was the vessel for Kyuubi before you and I was not kind. Giving birth weakened the seal enough so that Kyuubi could have broken out if I wasn't for your father holding him back. The man however, the stranger, broke in and attacked. He killed the nurses including the Third's wife. He took you from the Nurse and covered you in explosive seals, so your father, the Fourth Hokage, was forced to save you. " She reached out, stopping the scream that almost left Naruto's mouth. "Yes he is your father, we will explain this more later. Now as I was saying, your father saved you and I was taken. The Kyuubi was ripped out of my weakened body... your father saved me moments later but by then the man used his sharingan to take over the Kyuubi and forced him to attack. He too, like you Naruto, was a victim. Your father fought off the man and beast, defeating the man... then, like a fool, chose to sacrifice himself to seal the Kyuubi into you, or rather half of him, instead of choosing to sacrifice me... I love him Naruto but the man was naïve.

We each put a piece of our souls into your seal... your father was supposed to manifest when the Seal was in danger of being torn of. I was to come out when you wanted to control all of Kyuubi's power... however things changed. Jiriaya, was to be your godfather and he was to teach you so that you could actually use the power of Kyuubi and your own skills. He was to make you a great and powerful Ninja to fight of those that seek your harm and death, and the villages harm and death... he has chosen to barely train you at all... he disgusts me. So I have chosen to change this.

The man will come back, he was great enough to fight your father and control Kyuubi, he almost beat your father. And there is the Itachi and Kisame, whom I watched attack you. At this rate you will be a sitting duck to those that wish to harm you, and that endangers Kyuubi too. I cannot accept this and so I broke ranks." She turned to Kyuubi "I want to train Naruto, to use your power, your chakra, to continue this manifestation for a year to make Naruto as powerful as possible. You will help him and me and in return I will teach him to make you whole. Only I can do this, I am the last Uzumaki and the seal used on you was made to broken by our power. I know of the loophole. I will also help him to free you one day.

Do you agree to this?"

Kyuubi said nothing for a moment, Naruto was deeply confused due to the huge amount of information but he was hopeful for that Kyuubi to say yes.

"You chained me to a molten rock in your mind with spikes into my limbs... I hate you more then you know... but I cannot detect a lie on your person and I wish to live. I will agree to help him and you... but you must restore me entirely within six months for my continued help. Can you agree to that?"

Kushina, his mom, nodded. "I can and I will. Naruto has shadow clones, I can get him good enough in sealing to do this. We will have to sacrifice another being to summon your other half, but it is manageable."

"Then we have an accord."

Happy, Kushina pulled from Naruto and kneeled, putting her head onto the ground. Chains exploded from her back, wrapping around Kyuubi. Instantly red chakra shot down her chains, connecting with her body causing her to contort horribly with a horrible scream. Naruto cringed with fear but slowly the scream stopped and she stood. "Thank you... now... we do not have a lot of time. I did the calculations while I was preparing my speech. I have one year with your power, so long as I use no jutsu or chakra. Then the jutsu will unravel and will fade away. Kyuubi, you will listen to me as well and with my lessons on sealing you will never be sealed again." She turned back to Naruto and smiled. " Now... I cannot be your mommy, like I wish too. I will be your sensei first and foremost."

Naruto rushed to her, hugging her close. " I am just happy to see you."

"And I you, my sweet beautiful boy... I love you so much. I wish I could be your mommy, to love and teach you for my entire life... I am sorry I cannot do that. Well not entirely. You see I do not need to sleep so we will train during the day, and during your sleep we will discuss history, tactics and whatnot. For one hour however I will tell you about my life, your father, and we will bond. I am not so cruel as to deny you any trace of that... your my baby and you will get to be my baby at least a little. Now... I have a gift for you. A few actually. Have you ever heard of the Hirashin?"

Naruto frowned. " No... "

"It , along side the Rasengan, is your father's special jutsu. It made him so powerful he was chosen to become Hokage. I was actually as powerful as your father was, as was your friend Sasuke's father... speaking of Sasuke, I will help you in finding and bringing him back. I loved his mother, she was a good friend Naruto and he deserves better then what he got. That is my other gift to you... and my last gift to you is this... I will teach you to become Hokage. Politics and so many other things that are needed to shine. I will make your goal possible. You have two years left with Jiraiya, but you cannot tell him of my presence. I want you to use him, to train in secret so no one knows of your true power. His presence keeps you safe even if he refuses to actually train you."

"But he's... sigh... okay. Where are we starting, what jutsu are we-"

She put her hand on his mouth, stopping him. " No jutsu. You need to master the basics first. For the first month we will work solely on Chakra control, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu basics, throwing skills, the Rasengan and mastering the jutsu you already know as well as mastering the basics of calligraphy. I will be teaching you not only the academy taijutsu but your father's and mine, since using both will be a huge boon to you. Oh and your father was the fastest person in history but I will make sure you surpass him. Then we will begin your academic training tonight the next time you sleep... but tonight we will be mother and son entirely. But remember, tell no one. Are we clear?"

Naruto nodded. " Yes, Mom!"

"Wonderful... now, I know everything about you but you know nothing about me. Let's start with my clan and where I was born. I, like you, am an Uzumaki. We are cousins of the Senju, the creators of the Leaf Village. The spiral on your back is actually our sign for we lived in the Land of Whirlpools. We were mostly born with powerful chakra, lifeforeces and red hair. We excelled at sealing and sword play and most of us had water or wind chakra, like you Naruto who is blessed with a strong Wind affinity from me and your father. We were also sensors, which your father was as well so I am assuming your actually a sensor but will get to that once we get your chakra control to a reasonable level.

I was the granddaughter of our Clan head and I was born with powerful chakra even by our clan standards, I could use our rare chakra chains. A gift only the females of our clans are born with. For this reason I was chosen to be the second Host of Kyuubi, since Mito Uzumaki, the First Hokage's wife, was reaching old age..."
