SO, I'M SO SORRY. I wrote this months ago, it's been on AO3 for months, I just forgot to upload it here to FFN. I'M SO SORRY!
"...That you revealed everything you've been hiding." Allison finished as Reginald's eyes glazed over.
"Miss Allison, that is unacceptable!" Pogo argued. She couldn't just breach his privacy like that, even if he was a dick.
"You want to know my secrets, fine. Firstly, I chose to drug Number Seven as I feared her powers, not that I couldn't work to control them, I saw their destructive capabilities and chose to suppress them for the good of the world." Reginald answered, glaring daggers at Allison as he continued. "Yes, I am from another planet, when my own world died, I came to this one, and my people, when free of these skin suits, do look alien."
All of the children's mouths opened wide at that revelation.
"How did you get here?" Five asked, stunned.
"Why did you come here?" Diego muttered.
"WHY DID YOU PUT ALL THAT PRESSURE ON BEN, YOU FISH FUCK?!" Klaus roared, Reginald ignored him and continued.
"I experimented on Pogo, unnaturally extending his lifespan for my own scientific endeavours. I admit many of the training regimes I put you children through could have been handled much better for your own wellbeing, I chose what I considered to be the fastest ways to unlock all of your powers."
"You didn't have to do all of that you did to us?!" The kids who he had trained all seethed.
"I was made to carry huge rocks for hours on end, Diego was forced to hold his breath underwater for ages, Allison, she couldn't speak for days when you made her use the Rumour over and over, Klaus, we all know how you locked him up in a mausoleum for days, Five, he couldn't walk the amount of jumping you made him do, and as for Ben, you made him murder small animals to hone his aim. I can't believe it took me until these videos to notice it, but you're a fucking monster, Reginald." Luther sneered at him, disgusted by the old man and his hero worship of him.
"You are not the only ones with special abilities, there were forty three born that day. The girl known as Lila, she is one of the forty three children born with abilities."
"Wait, there's more of us you wanted to torment?" Five asked, enraged.
"Lila is one of us? That doesn't make her our biological sister, does it?" Diego wondered, repulsed by his own feelings for her.
"It's just like Luther and I." Allison told him with a smirk. "Got to accept us if you want to be with Lila."
Diego just shuddered as Reginald continued.
"I never wanted JFK killed, and my experiments on the dark side of the Moon are all about a prison for the enemies of the Umbrella Academy, that I have named Hotel Oblivion."
"I like the name, ominious." Vanya drily said.
"How come I didn't know about it, even when I was up there?" Luther asked.
"I wouldn't risk sending you there, Number One." Reginald said dismissively.
"You've already changed the timeline and you don't even realise how. Having seen your failures, I would have enacted a backup plan in regards to the children with powers, knowing you would one day be born, since the lights I released from my own world are what created you. There will be a different Academy with different members if you return to 2019 in that timeline."
"What do you mean?" Diego asked, confused.
"I've taken precautions, I know myself." Reginald said. "You won't be the Umbrella Academy in your new timeline. Furthermore, if I must still divulge information, my monocle allows me to see your potential, with it, I can see your powers, your past, your future, all with relative ease. It is how I knew all of your powers and were able to have plans to train them from infancy."
"Wait, you know all about us?" Luther asked.
"Yes." Reginald simply stated before falling silent as the rumour wore off.
"So, what do we do with him now?" Allison asked the others.
"Kill him. I mean it." Klaus said as the others looked hesitant.
"I'm not sure that's the best idea, he knows things, things that could help us." Five argued.
"We've seen how the apocalypse happens and we know how to stop it. What do we need him for?" Diego argued, backing Klaus, who nodded.
"I'm in favour of never seeing him again." Vanya shrugged.
"I'm still not comfortable with just killing him." Luther stated as Allison nodded.
"What do you suggest we do then?" Vanya asked. "He has to pay for all he's done to us, especially since it all could have been avoided if the fish had acted like an actual person."
"I don't know." Luther admitted softly.
"I heard a rumour that you sat quietly in the corner, not saying a word until the end of this." Allison told Reginald, who moved away. Klaus glared at her.
"It's just until we finish these. Then we can decide what to do." Allison insisted.
"So, Lila has powers? What are they? Who wants to bet they'll come into play in the last video?" Diego asked.
"I'm certain they will." Five told him. "Though I am curious on what they are, want to answer that one dad?" He asked Reginald, who silently glared at them with hate filled eyes.
The scene opened on a snowy day with "2006" showing on the screen as the children marched into the courtyard, umbrellas up.
"It just had to be this day." Klaus snarled, recognising what day it was.
"Is this what I think it is?" Five asked.
"Ben's funeral." Vanya confirmed.
All of them gathered around as the scene focused on Ben's coffin, with an image of his face on it, at the spot where his statue would be erected one day.
"I can see why Ben would hate a statue there." Diego noted.
"He never was a vain one." Klaus said, feeling crushed still. He knew they all were, they all loved Ben, but he knew him best, had known him longest, he knew it would take him much longer to process what had happened.
"Your father is ready to give the eulogy, children." Pogo told them all sadly as Reginald began to address them.
"Why is he giving it?" Five asked.
"The world is full of injustice. Good people die along with the bad." Reginald started as the camera switched to show all of them grieving. "This cosmic equation will never change, unless evil itself is wiped from existence."
"Which it never will be." Diego growled.
"Thankfully, there are powerful forces pushing back against the wicked and iniquitous. Individuals who have the strength to pull together against insurmountable odds to face adversity with unblinking courage, and not to hesitate to sacrifice themselves for another. Unfortunately, none of you are such people." Reginald continued as they all look devastated at the grave still.
"Wow, I forgot what an absolute twat you were here." Klaus spat at him.
"Are you incapable of saying anything nice?" Five asked.
Klaus nodded grimly as Reginald went on "Despite years of training and weeks of preparation, you allowed Number Six to die on this mission." He said as Diego looked stricken and Allison turned to him in anger.
"Fuck him up, Allison." Five grinned at her.
"It wasn't our fault." Allison insisted as Reginald brushed her off.
Allison and Luther bristled seeing that.
"Excuses? I will not hear them." Reginald growled at her, as Luther put his arm out to stop her. "The Umbrella Academy has failed one of their own, the consequences of which are dire." He stated as Luther looked down, determined yet angry.
"I knew I had failed, I knew I needed to do better." Luther told them, glumly.
"You didn't fail, Luther. Not at all." Klaus told him. "Ben even told me that one time about it, it wasn't anybody's fault, it just happened."
"Hold onto this feeling, children." He said as it panned around, showing all of them crying. "Let it fester in your hearts so there is never a next time. Training will be cancelled today out of respect for your brother. We resume tomorrow at 6 am." Reginald finished before leaving them too it.
"Wow, for him, that's generous." Five spat, disgusted that Reginald hadn't let his siblings grieve.
Grace and Pogo quickly followed behind as the others grieved.
"I regret my action." Pogo said sadly.
"It wasn't anybody's fault." Vanya told them, devastated herself as Diego rounded on her.
"I'm so sorry." Diego told her as Vanya waved him away.
"We all made mistakes, it's ok." Vanya reassured him.
"How would you know, Vanya? You weren't even on the mission." Diego spat at her as Vanya stormed off crying.
"I'm so sorry." Diego told her again as she once again waved it away.
"Nice going, asshole." Luther spat at him.
"I deserved that." Diego admitted.
"What? We were all thinking it." Diego defended himself.
"No, we weren't." Five growled.
"I know that now." Diego admitted.
"Oh, so you're thinking, Diego?" Allison laughed hysterically at him. "That's a first." She finished with a baleful glare.
"I'm sorry." Allison told him.
"Like Vanya said, it's fine. We all make mistakes."
"Screw you!" Diego roared before running off.
"I'm an idiot." Diego moaned seeing his younger self.
"Hey! Dad was right. We should've done more. This didn't have to happen." Luther insisted, chasing after Diego as Allison followed behind.
"Nah, I'm one, thinking I should want to impress that asshole." Luther argued.
Klaus was left alone at the grave and headed into the patio, as he heard the retreating voices of his arguing siblings. Shaking his hands and focusing, Klaus' hands lit up, before he turned around to a voice saying "Klaus?"
"Ben…" Everyone said sadly, hearing his voice again.
Looking around he saw Ben there, confused at what was happening. "Where...Where am I?" Ben asked him.
"I miss you, Benny..." Klaus said sadly, longingly reaching out towards the screen.
"You're back in the land of the living." Klaus told him, overjoyed to see him. "It's been a total shitshow since you died. The family's a mess." He said as he took a swig from a flask.
"When aren't we a mess?" Luther asked him with a sad smile.
"You really shouldn't drink, Master Klaus." Pogo said half-heartedly.
"Listen...Um, I need to go back." Ben told him as Klaus refuted it, saying he could go On at any time, he should stick around for a little.
"God, I wish I hadn't tried to make him stay." Klaus said.
"Why?" Allison asked, eyes rimmed red.
"Because I made him suffer, watching me, instead of letting him be at peace." Klaus admitted. "I'm a fucking monster."
"No, you aren't." Diego assured him. "You're not a monster, none of us are, except maybe dad."
"Wanna watch me piss in Dad's gas tank?" Klaus asked with a grin before Ben returned one of his own.
"Let's do it after this." Diego told Klaus with a grin as Klaus returned it.
"Definitely."
"Yeah, sure."
"Ben was always good for a prank." Five agreed.
The two of them ran off, past Ben's grave, as the camera focused on his image on it and the Umbrella symbol above.
"Ben would have hated that." Vanya stated as they all nodded.
The scene cut to Klaus lying on Elliot's bed looking destroyed, as the news asked for help identifying several people of interest at Dealey Plaza, stating the FBI believed they may have been working with Lee Harvey Oswald, as the scene showed the others downstairs, watching the news.
"They think we're working with Oswald? That's rich." Diego mocked, mirth in his voice as he said it.
"Vanya Hargreeves, wanted in connection to the deaths of several FBI agents inside the federal building at Dealey Plaza." It said as Vanya looked up towards it in defiance "A Cuban exile known only as Diego who recently escaped from the Holbrook Sanitarium."
"Cuban?" Diego asked, shocked, a disbelieving look on his face.
"Cuban?" Diego asked, confused.
"No need to repeat yourself." Luther teased him.
"A bare-knuckle boxer with suspected Mafia ties." It said as Luther looked worried as it showed his photo with Jack Ruby. "who fights under the alias "King Kong."
"King Kong?" Klaus snorted, Luther glared as the others cracked up as well.
Allison looked at him weirdly before turning, shocked, to the television as it reported "Allison Chestnut, a Negro radical responsible for instigating and organising the recent riots at Stadtler's lunch counter."
"Ah, nice bit of racism." Allison remarked with a sad frown.
"And finally, Klaus, the controversial cult leader and known tax evader." The news anchor stated, holding up a drawing of Klaus.
"Government doesn't deserve my money." Klaus said shortly.
The news then asked people to watch out for this unidentified boy, who was being held hostage by the terror network.
"If anything, Five is holding us hostage." Vanya joked as Five's cheeks flamed.
"I do not!" Five argued.
"Well, it's true." Five said as they all turned to look at him. "I do feel like I'm being held hostage most days."
"Sure you do." Allison told him.
"I really do." Five assured her, with a completely straight face.
They all squabbled about what to do before Five reminded them the Commission would find them anywhere, Diego affirming they would never stop.
"I'm surprised you managed to learn so much in such a short period of time there." Five told him.
"Hey, I'm smart!" Diego defended himself.
"Oh, I know that, these days." Five admitted.
"I'm sorry, since when are you an expert on the Commission?" Five asked, taunting Diego.
"I'm just a fast learner." Diego teased him back.
They all began arguing again as Diego claimed he mastered the Infinite Switchboard and was smart enough to be recruited by the Commission, then claiming he stopped doomsday, as Klaus tried to dispute it.
"Yeah, that was Ben, not you." Allison told him as Klaus held up his hands.
Vanya left the others and tried to call Sissy, receiving no answer, she was hit by a vision of Harlan calling for help, and stumbling, Vanya realised she had given him a connection to her and powers, that he could do what she did.
"I definitely need to help him." Vanya said.
Vanya heard the others arguing before telling them about saving Harlan and that she needed to go help him, but she needed their help as well.
"I can't do it without you guys." Vanya admitted.
"We're a team, I'm sure we will go with you." Luther told her.
Diego told her they had other priorities, Five agreeing with him as the others looked away from Vanya.
"Or not." Luther frowned, seeing his other self being an idiot, the others also kicked themselves.
"I guess I'll see you when I see you." Vanya told them, heading out and getting into the car.
"We better go with you." Allison told everyone.
As she started the car, Klaus entered.
"Yay, I'm the least piece of shit piece of shit!" Klaus cheered himself.
"So Ben, huh? Gone forever, isn't he?"
"I'm sorry, Klaus." Vanya told him.
"Don't be, it's not your fault." Klaus told her.
"He traded his life for mine while he saved the world in the process." Vanya told Klaus.
"Always the hero, even when he didn't want to be." Klaus said as the others agreed. Ben was a true hero.
"Pft. Show off. But did he say anything about...me?"
"Of course he did, you know he would." Allison told Klaus.
"He wanted me to tell you he was too scared to go into the light. It wasn't you that made him stay."
"That shit-heel!" Klaus cried.
"Oh, that little shit-heel. All these years and I thought it was my fault that he didn't take his ticket to Heaven." Klaus said with a laugh.
"I guess Ben got the last laugh on me. Here and there." Klaus said with a sad look.
Vanya told Klaus to leave as he said he couldn't leave her to face the unknown alone, as Diego and Allison climbed into the car as well.
"You're all coming?" Vanya said, joy in her face. Sure, they had all talked about working together but to see it in the other timeline as well, it made her happy.
"Got room for two more?" Allison asked.
"Always." Vanya told her with a smile.
"What about the Commission?" Vanya replied.
"Oh yeah, forgot about them." Vanya admitted shyly.
"Well, might as well do some good before we die horribly." Diego explained.
"We may as well do some." Luther agreed.
Five climbed into the car as well, saying Vanya owed him one, before telling Klaus to get into the back, sliding into his seat in the front.
"I mean, I'm not disputing I'm a child in this, but still." Klaus mock whined.
The trunk opened and Luther also climbed in, the car lowering due to his weight. They all smiled and set off together, as a family, to go help Harlan, not seeing the milk truck begin to follow them.
"Oh shit, I forgot he was still out there!" Allison cried.
"He won't get to you, or any of us." Five promised her.
As they approached the farm, they noticed that whilst everywhere else was green, the farm was covered in a snowstorm generated from a beam of light in the farm.
"Damn, those are some serious powers." Diego whistled.
Diego asked if whatever was inside was causing it, Five telling him that the chances of correlation were high.
"How am I this stupid?" Diego asked the others who shrugged.
Sissy came out brandishing a shotgun, as Vanya begged to know what was going on, Sissy revealed Harlan had killed Carl, tossing him aside like Vanya did to the police, asking what Vanya had done to her son.
"Hey, she did nothing!" Luther protested.
"I'm sure she's just not thinking rationally." Vanya tried to defend her.
"Maybe, still no excuse." Luther argued.
Vanya denied she had done anything whilst Diego strode forward, Sissy turning the shotgun onto him. Vanya told Sissy she had found her family, telling her that they did not kill JFK and were innocent, before Sissy asked who she was, Vanya told her she was the only one who could help Harlan.
"And I will if this ever happened, I promise." Vanya swore, mostly to herself.
Sissy let them in as Vanya called out for Harlan to listen to her, before forcing herself through the forcefield with Sissy's permission, calling out to Harlan as a flash of blue occurred outside, Klaus going to check it out, before noticing two people, focusing in, it showed Lila and the Handler, holding a briefcase.
"Well, this will be interesting." Klaus remarked.
Vanya kept talking to Harlan whilst the others checked out what Klaus was on about, seeing the two of them, Diego cursed.
"That's definitely the response I'd have." Five agreed.
"What, who are they?" Klaus asked.
"Angry and angrier." Diego dead-panned.
"One's the Handler, the other's Diego's girlfriend." Five explained.
"Again, angry and angrier." Luther teased.
Five and Diego went to speak to them as the others waited behind, arguing over deals and who killed who, The Handler stated that all of the Academy would die that day, whilst Luther asked Allison which one of them was Diego's girlfriend.
"Seriously, man?" Diego asked as Luther tried to look innocent.
"I don't like your chances. Seven of us, only two of you." Diego told the Handler who admitted he was right, saying they should change that before clicking her fingers, with over a thousand Commission assassins using briefcases to appear in the field, massively outnumbering the Hargreeves.
"Well, we're fucked." Five said simply, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach for his other self.
Diego and Five discussed their options before choosing to run, the others doing so as well, as The Handler dropped a red scarf, the assassins charging after the Hargreeves as it fell.
"Yeah, definitely screwed." Diego agreed.
Back at the farm, Vanya got Harlan to calm down and float back to the ground, the storm ending as the Hargreeves dodged bullets, some bullets struck the barn, where Vanya and Harlan deflected them before being blown away, Harlan to a lower level, Vanya to the side.
"Vanya!" Everyone called out in fear.
Vanya told Sissy to check on Harlan whilst she ended it, cutting outside, it showed the other Hargreeves diving behind cover as bullets rained down on them and the house, Five blinked Diego and himself to a tractor then ran to the house as Diego offered to cover, using his powers, he managed to halt several hundred bullets before deflecting them into a gas container, before diving behind the tractor again.
"Damn, I'm a badass." Diego stated as the others looked in shock, They knew he had powers like this, but they didn't know he was this strong with them.
"Very well done, Master Diego." Pogo told him with a smile.
Luther held Allison and Klaus, Diego cowering behind the tractor and Five under a table, when they looked up to see Vanya rising out of the barn, using her powers, she blew the Commission force away, killing all of them, apart from Lila and the Handler, a forcefield projecting over them, leaving them standing.
"Damn, glad you're on our side, Vanya." Luther remarked.
"Your turn, dear." The Handler said as Lila rose into the air, showing the same powers as Vanya, before blasting the battle site, sending all of the Hargreeves flying away.
"HOLY SHIT, WHAT ARE HER POWERS?!" Klaus asked, as they all looked stunned.
Luther landed in the house, shattering the roof, as Allison landed in a hay pile. Klaus screamed to be caught, before two Texan ghosts caught him, and Diego had the tractor land on his leg, pinning him.
"Well I guess I'm no use now." Diego stated.
Lila marched towards the house, determined to kill them as the roof collapsed, Five shoving Luther aside and being buried under the rubble himself. Lila then jumped in, as Luther swung at her, she caught his blow then threw him through the wall as Allison rushed to his aid.
"Thanks, Five." Luther told him as Five flashed him a smile.
Lila and Allison exchanged greetings as they fought, punching one another before Allison caught Lila in a lock.
"I guess you're a stronger fighter than she is." Diego told Allison who smiled.
"I heard a rumour-" Allison started.
"Time to end this." Allison said.
"-That you stopped breathing." Lila said as Allison fell back, clutching at her throat, Lila walked away with a smirk as Luther rushed to help Allison who was choking.
"ALLISON!" Luther cried out.
"I'm right here and this won't happen this time." Allison reassured him with a kiss.
Luther begged her to fight if off and gave her CPR, until eventually Allison started to breath again, the rumour gone.
"Thank God she didn't specify death." Allison breathed a small sigh of relief.
Five and Lila fought as Allison and Luther rushed to aid Diego, both of them jumping around, as The Handler approached Sissy and Harlan, knocking Sissy out and telling Harlan that she liked that he didn't talk back, after saying she would be his new mother.
"This crazy bitch needs dealing with." Klaus stated.
"She will be." Five said. "I'll make sure of it."
The others rescued Diego as they discussed what Lila was doing.
"Showing us she can use our powers better than we can it seems." Klaus remarked.
"She may as well be one of us." Vanya said, before they all looked at one another, realising that there could be more than just the seven of them with powers, saying Reginald never told them the truth about anything.
"Well that's definitely the truth." Luther noted.
The Handler told Harlan she could take him somewhere he would be understood whilst Lila and Five fought, her getting the upper hand before he threw her off of him. She told him he would suffer for what he did, Five telling her he had no idea what she meant, before she told him about her parents, and that he killed them.
"Yeah, and when we meet her, I'll apologise for that." Five admitted.
Five told Lila that the kill order was faked by the Handler, she was using the assassination as a cover to take Lila, Lila asked why would she, before the others arrived, surrounding her, as Diego explained she was one of them, born on the same day with powers, and that the Handler was using her, just as Reginald used all of them.
"I hope Lila sees that we're telling her the truth." Diego said.
Luther told Lila that love shouldn't have to hurt, as she faked vomiting, Five saying they had to kill her as Diego told him to back off, telling Lila she knew the Handler couldn't be trusted, it was why she brought him to the Commission, the minute she couldn't use Lila she would turn on her and Lila knew that.
"Yeah, I think she knows that." Five said, looking at her face.
Diego told her that they could be her new family, she looked between them all, tears in her eyes, before gunshots flew through the air, hitting and killing all six Academy members, as Lila turned she saw the Handler holding a gun, asking her if it was true, the Handler dismissed it, Lila realising the Handler didn't love her, she went to strike her, only for the Handler to shoot her dead.
"Well, there goes any chance of a happy ending I guess." Vanya said sadly, seeing her other self be gunned down.
Five struggled to breathe as the Handler walked over, noting he was still alive, telling him he got to see how it all ended before aiming the gun at him, before she could fire, she was shot herself from behind, turning, she saw the last Swede, who fired on her again, as she dropped to the floor, dead.
"YES!" Klaus cheered. "At least she came with us."
The Swede approached the still alive Five and aimed at him, as Five remembered his talk with Reginald and saving his siblings from the first apocalypse, he used his powers to rewind the clock a few seconds, back to before the Handler shot them all, and moved to the barn door, grabbing the gun and disarming her as she entered.
"I guess the old man did teach me something." Five said, surprised.
"Nice move, Five." Diego acknowledged.
Lila asked the Handler if what they said was true before the Swede fired upon her again, killing her. Lila raced for the briefcase, Diego stopping Luther from stopping her as Lila vanished. The Swede and Five entered a stand-off, until Five dropped his gun, saying "Enough." The Swede responded with "Enough" in Swedish before dropping his gun and leaving, after staring at Allison for a long moment.
"Well at least he left you alone." Luther remarked.
"He's right. Enough killing. She's dead, the world is safe, it's enough." Five stated.
Luther asked why Diego had stopped him, Diego admitting he loved Lila as Klaus asked who the Swede was.
"Yeah, I think I do love her." Diego admitted.
Vanya then rushed off to help Harlan again, the others following as she entered his forcefield again, using her powers to take away his abilities, returning him to normal. The Hargreeves then looked at each other and smiled, finally, a family.
"Yay, family!" Klaus cheered.
Going out into the farm, Herb and Dot arrived, noting all the death around them, meeting Diego and Five.
"I wonder what they're doing here, probably making sure she's dead." Diego said.
They asked what had happened, Five confirming she truly was dead this time, before asking what happens with the Commission, Herb revealing he has been appointed interim leader. Five asked for a briefcase, Herb telling him to take his pick of them.
"Well, at least the Commission aren't on our backs any more." Five said. "Maybe I should go there and assassinate the board."
Vanya told Sissy to get Harlan packed, Sissy telling her that they weren't coming, even with Carl gone, they couldn't risk everything, Sissy saying she was scared for Vanya, that any enemies Vanya had would come for them, they couldn't have a normal life there, so she had to let Vanya go, to protect Harlan and to protect Vanya. Sissy saying she would go to California, before they embraced and kissed one last time.
"She's right. Nobody is unimportant, she needs to stay in her time to keep the timeline safe. I'm sorry, Vanya." Five stated as Vanya nodded.
"I know, but it still sucks she has to live in such a repressive time." Vanya told him.
At Raymond's, he drunk as he heard about Kennedy dying, seeing the book he had bought Allison for their anniversary, with a note from her within it, telling him she would be gone when he read it, that she loved him and she wished he had a wonderful life.
"I'm sorry for Ray, he doesn't deserve all of this, he deserved a good life." Allison frowned.
"When we get out of here, do you want to look up Ray, what he did with himself?" Luther asked her.
"No, this Ray isn't that Ray, and I have my perfect with you, Luther." Allison kissed his cheek.
Diego sat with Vanya on the porch, smiling at one another as she rested her head on his shoulder, Klaus looking at Dave's dog tags and kissing them, as Dave boarded the bus for basic training, looking around for Klaus but seeing he wasn't there, boarding the bus. The Swede walked down the road before being stopped by Klaus' cult, who offered him a ride as he decided to go with it and boarded the bus.
"I see everyone is getting some kind of happy, other than Klaus and Dave." Diego said sadly.
"He waited for me, I'm an idiot. I should have gone after him, I could have saved him. We need to make sure we save him." Klaus told the others, as Five shook his head behind Klaus.
He could not be saved, what didn't Klaus get?
Luther phoned Jack Ruby, who ignored the call, seeing the news report about Oswald, he grabbed his gun, heading to go cement his place in history and kill Oswald. Sissy and Harlan drove into New Mexico, as in the back of the car, Harlan made his figurine float, showing he still had powers.
"How does he still have powers?" Vanya asked.
"Maybe you left him with something after all?" Luther questioned.
"I just hope it won't come back to haunt us, as it probably will." Allison stated.
The siblings all gathered in the courtyard, as Klaus rushed back for his hat, Diego asking Five to leave Klaus behind, they all held hands and vanished, back to April 2nd 2019, finding the apocalypse had now not happened. They all cheered, planning to go celebrate, when they entered the dining room, Diego noticing the picture above the fireplace was now of Ben.
"Why is the portrait of Five gone?" Klaus asked, confused.
"I knew you'd show up eventually." A voice said, as Reginald rose from the armchair, shocking them, they asked how he was alive, him asking should he not be. They just remarked they were glad to be home, with Reginald telling him that this wasn't their home, that they were not in the Umbrella Academy, but instead the Sparrow Academy, as several figures lined the upper landing, with one facing directly behind them.
"Who are they?!" Everyone asked.
"Probably Dad's plan, he said he would have changed the timeline." Luther reasoned. "This was probably his Hail Mary against us."
"Dad, who the hell are these assholes?" The man facing them asked, looking, they saw it was Ben.
"BEN?!" Everyone said in shock, seeing such a different Ben to the one they knew.
"Shit." The Hargreeves collectively said as the scene cut to black.
"Well, we've fucked it up, again. Glad this isn't our timeline." Five admitted.
"Now that the mess is over, it's time you all learnt your place." Reginald stood up, the rumour wearing off, striding towards them all, determined to strike at them, to make them learn their place once more.
Allison looked around, seeing the hate and fear on all of her siblings faces, and knowing only she could do anything about it, she spoke up.
"I heard a rumour that you dropped dead."
Reginald hit the floor, dead.
THAT'S A WRAP! Just kidding, epilogue coming….soonish.
