Sorry for the wait but I went back through the chapters posted so far and changed the dates to be the real life ones instead of fake dates as it gets really annoying to have to coordinate fake dates.
Chapter 9 took awhile thanks to writing some entries to Tales of Milikan and taking breaks. So I hope the wait was worth it.
I have edited Chapters 1-8 like I mentioned and Chapter 3 has a new Simora scene just after he kidnaps Ginny from Milikan. Feel free to go back and read that.
Also, I forgot that I mentioned in Chapter 2 that Tonks survived the Battle of Hogwarts in this AU. Any prior references I made to her death are no longer canon to this story; she is still alive, she just hasn't been mentioned that often.
Another reminder that I am no longer doing "Last Time on Chapter #" or "Next time on chapter #" I want to keep you all guessing. Also, I am no longer doing the "stay tuned for the next chapter" either.
This is a Harry and Ginny centric chapter. Don't expect much of Milikan being present in this chapter. I hope you all enjoy Chapter 9.
Some sexual scenes ahead

Double Life
Chapter 09- Ginny's 27th Birthday
Part 1: A Loving Stroll
Thursday, April 17th, 2008 10:00 AM
"Who turns four years old today?" Ginny called out as she came downstairs on the morning of April 17th, smiling as she kissed her husband on the cheek as she passed by him.
"I do!" James Sirius Potter cried out, bouncing eagerly on his heels.
Ginny raised an eyebrow as she looked back at her husband, pretending to ignore her firstborn son, "Did you hear something Harry? I could've sworn I heard our oldest around here somewhere?" Said Ginny looking out the front door trying not to laugh.
Harry looked out from behind his newspaper. "Nope didn't hear anything. You must be hearing things you old lady." He quickly dove back behind the paper snickering.
Ginny shut the front door that she was looking out of and turned to give him a particularly pointed stare, her hands on her hips, fighting not to laugh. "You are a year older than me Mr. Potter; if anyone's old it's you."
"Oh, my heart…" Harry mocked her playfully. Ginny's smirk slowly rose on her face, "Does your heart feel the love for me?"
"Nope. For treacle tarts. I've always loved you second." Harry replied with a grin as he ran into the kitchen.
"Oh, my heart weeps." Ginny cried as she ran after him laughing.
James looked on in confusion from his position in the hallway as he shrugged and followed them into the kitchen, "What was that about mama?"
Ginny snickered as she picked her son up in her arms, kissed him on the cheek and gleefully spun around with him in her arms, "Happy birthday Jamie."
Harry smiled at them as James giggled, "Hehe…."
"So is this just a Potter family celebration or...?" Harry trailed off gesturing to his wife to finish for him. She understood what he meant and shrugged. "Ron and Hermione, Mom and Dad, and George and Angelina are the only ones coming. I didn't want a big party this time." Ginny visibly cringed at the thought of Albus's second birthday being way too large for this house.
Harry nodded at his wife as he stood up and crossed the room to look at James right, "Hey, bud, are you excited for your birthday?" he asked excitedly.
"Yeah. Presents." giggled the little four-year-old boy. Harry laughed as he took James in his arms, hugging him tightly, "You are growing up so fast son."
Ginny softly smiled at her husband as he hugged their son and said stuff to him that made her a little emotional. She joined in on the hug for a couple of seconds until Lily's cries from upstairs made them separate; clearly their daughter had just woken up from her nap and wanted a feed.
"Harry can you give me a hand with Lily? She needs a change." Ginny said as she returned to the kitchen with their daughter. Harry smiled at his girls as he helped change his daughter and got her ready for the day.
"Hiya Lils." Harry said gleefully hugging her lightly.
"Dada dada…" she cried happily. The only words she could say properly right now were dada and mama.
Harry smiled as she carried her into the living room to sit on the couch to watch some television before some of the family arrived for James' party.
"Are you excited for your party James?" Ginny smiled at her son as she took him in her arms for a tight hug, "It feels like yesterday you were just learning to walk."
"I didn't learn to walk yesterday…" Ginny rolled her eyes at James for taking that comment literally, and kissed him on the cheek, "Whatever. Are you ready for your party though?"
"Yes." Said James, jumping in the air.
"Alright." His mom replied ruffling his hair as she stood up and kissed Harry on the cheek as she walked towards the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked as he sat on the couch with their daughter, currently sucking her thumb and smiling at her dad.
Ginny continued up the stairs, slowing down a bit to call back over her shoulder, "I need a shower before everyone gets here." Harry nodded at her reasoning, "I'll be out in twenty minutes."
"Roger that boss Potter." he chuckled to himself since Ginny was like the boss of the family.
"And don't you forget it Potter." he heard her reply followed by an un-Ginny-like giggle, one she used whenever thinking of him showering with her.
When Ginny got in the shower, she sat down on the shower bench and tilted her head up into the water, her eyes closed allowing the water to rush down her body.
Her breasts were so smooth to the touch, and she had to guess it was due to the constant massages and groping they got from a certain sexual snake she loved to obey and make love to. Ginny blushed as she pinched her nipple, sending a jolt of pleasure through her body as she took the soap from the rack next to her and began to clean herself.
"My entire body just feels so smooth… Thanks mistress…" she smiled lightly at this unexpected little benefit of her snake lover. The snake never realized, but if the victim of the hypnosis was under the influence for a long time their body would become very smooth which Ginny was beginning to happily notice as she showered with a pleasant smile.
Friday, May 2nd, 2008 8:00 AM
Ginny woke up on the day of the tenth anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts to a quiet room, alone in bed. She was used to waking up like this on May 2nd ever since the end of the war; on this particular date, Harry would always head over to Godric's Hollow to visit his parents' graves, often only coming back well after lunch. Ginny had gone with him up until they had children, and these days she usually just went to the Burrow to visit Fred's grave.
Ginny sighed as she sat up in bed and smiled sadly as she grabbed a picture frame off her bedside table. It was taken a few days before her fifth year started and everyone, even with the looming darkness of Voldemort's presence, were all happy and cheery.
Sirius and Remus had their arms around each other laughing, while Tonks looked at the latter with love in her eyes, though with irritation he wouldn't notice her.
Ginny smiled as she gazed at her family in the photo, minus Charlie due to his work and Percy due to his betrayal. Her parents were standing next to Tonks laughing at something as well. Next to Remus and Sirius were the twins with mischievous grins on their faces as they twiddled their fingers whispering to each other.
Bill and Fleur were in front of them, hugging the other, and Ginny now realized maybe if she saw how they acted back then maybe she would have figured out their relationship wasn't just the impulsive fling everyone had dismissed it as early on. Ron and Hermione were in the front grinning at the camera, while Harry stood to Hermione's left, holding Ginny in his arms, bridal style, her arms around his neck as the two gazed at each other as though nobody else was even around. Even after only being together a few months they had fallen into a routine of acting like a married couple without fully realizing it, and even these days they still acted like newlyweds when they could be sure they had the time.
She had just put down the frame and was undressing to shower before heading over to the Burrow and noticed Milikan sitting in the window waiting to be let in. Not wanting to be rude, Ginny went over to the window and pulled her in and hugged her tightly, but immediately grabbed her tail when the snake began to remove her remaining clothing.
"Is something wrong Ginny baby?" Milikan asked in concern as the redhead pulled back, even as she accepted the halting hand against her tail.
"Not… wrong, Mistress, but it's just…" Ginny smiled sadly as she looked at the snake. "You remember I told you about how Harry defeated Voldemort?"
"Yes…?"
"Today's the… tenth anniversary of that day," Ginny explained, before she sadly lowered her gaze to the floor. "Which also makes it the tenth year since we lost Fred."
"Fred?" Milikan repeated, her mind racing over what Ginny had told her about her family before the name clicked. "Your brother?"
"George's twin," Ginny nodded. "We all have certain traditions to commemorate what happened at the battle, but… I mean, I know it's probably morbid, but we all want to remember what made Fred unique from George, which includes his death, so…"
"So you don't want me to 'butt in'?" Milikan finished with an understanding smile.
"It's not that I don't recognize that you'd want to help, Mistress, but if you did… I mean..."
"Anything we did together today would take away from the time when you should be focused on remembering your brother," Milikan smiled at Ginny in kind understanding before moving over to give her a sweet and loving kiss. "I understand, Gin… Can I come over on Monday?"
A blazing smile crossed the face of the spiral-eyed girl as she nodded, a few tendrils of her red hair coming loose from her ponytail. "Of course you can, Mistress; thanks for understanding."
"Like… I said, all you ever need to do is tell me 'no' and I'll understand," Milikan smiled reassuringly at her, recalling the tale Ginny had told her of her false memories and her initial declaration of servitude. "Obviously it's more important to remember your brother today than do anything with me."
They gave each other another sweet and loving kiss before Milikan turned and leapt from the window into the tree nearest to the window, while Ginny went in to take a quick shower before the kids woke up.
Later when she and the kids went over to the Burrow, Ginny was pleasantly surprised to see her husband there waiting for her with a sad smile on his face as she took his hand in her own and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I thought that maybe I should be here for you?" Harry said, giving his beautiful wife a sad smile, before moving over to the graves.
"Thanks, Love." Ginny said, so much emotion in a whisper that it was hard for him to even realize that she had even spoken as the redhead sunk to her knees in front of the grave.
She laid the flowers she had just conjured up on the ground in front of her brother's grave, other flowers were laid about from the rest of the family, the biggest being from George and Angelina.
"Hey Fred…" Ginny said after a few moments of just being silent as tears were shed. "Ten years since we lost you… can you believe that?" Harry sat down next to her and pulled his sobbing wife into a hug as she continued to speak, "Harry has been an amazing husband and father to our children. I couldn't imagine being with anyone better." Ginny gazed at Harry as she said the last few words and shared an emotional kiss with him as they sat there holding the other.
After a few moments, the spectacled black haired man laughed, drawing a strange look from the woman in his arms. "I hope you are having fun with Remus, Sirius and my father up there Fred. Pranking many people to your heart's content."
"Yeah," Ginny nodded, wiping away her tears with a tentative grin. "He'd love being the new fourth Marauder…"
That said, she turned back to the grave with a grin. "And when you next see them, let them know that they can be assured that Harry and I are making each other the happiest we could ever be." Ginny leaned over and hugged Harry, breathing in the shampoo she loved on him. "Like we always have been since we began dating." Ginny looked a bit distant as she said that as if she wasn't fully there and was just back at home with the man she loved and their children.
When the family returned home after an emotional visit to Fred's grave, Ginny placed her purse on the kitchen counter, and turned to her handsome husband watching her, making sure she was alright.
Ginny smiled lightly as she walked up to him and enveloped him in a tight hug, "Thank you for being there with me today. You are the best husband I could ever ask for." She snuggled into him deeper as he chuckled lowly, "Well that is nice to hear. Because." Lifting her chin up, looking into those beautiful brown eyes of hers caused Harry to nearly back down from what he was going to say, "You are mine."
Ginny's tearful grin replaced her melancholy frown on her face as she put her forehead to his own, "And that is how it will be forever."
Friday, June 13th, 2008 2:00 PM
"Oi Potter." Rachel, manager of the Daily Prophet, hollered as she noticed the redhead entering the employee break room for a late lunch. She and Ginny had been working much more closely since her amazing article in March and the articles produced by Ginny since then were really professional, more so than the last ones she had produced.
Ginny quickly ended her current conversation and went to where her boss was sitting, "What's up boss?" she asked while taking a seat across from Rachel, and surprisingly Kingsley, and someone who brought a large smile to her face, Harry was there too, along with a couple other prophet employees who looked just as clueless as her.
"The minister and I wish to speak with you, and…" Rachel turned to the others sitting behind them with a smile, "These other Quidditch reporters…" Ginny smiled and waved at a few that she had seen around the office almost daily before turning back to the two hosts, "...About a promotion." Ginny's smile dropped and was replaced with a shocked look, as well as with the others, and Harry, though he was looking at his wife with a smirk having been clued in on this matter.
Slowly, Ginny's shocked and awed look morphed into a giddy smile, "A promotion?" Eyeing the others, Ginny noticed how some were just as excited as she was, while some of them were, to her ire, staring at Harry. Well, mostly some of the women their age were, and he was noticing and wasn't too happy about it. Kingsley noticed this too and decided to get along with the subject.
"Mrs. Potter-Ginny… Sorry, I got caught up in the formality of the situation."
Ginny grinned trying not to laugh seeing his apologetic look as when she first became Mrs. Potter, her first request was for the minister just to call her Ginny like he had been doing since their first few meetings at Grimmuald Place during her fourth year, forgetting about the formality as she and Harry disliked it.
"Rachel and I feel as if we should make a new reporter department in the Daily Prophet called "The International European-North African Press" and would be very honored if you would be the head of this office."
Ginny's smile didn't leave her face as she leaned forward, intrigued with the offer, "And what does this new position offer?"
Rachel grinned, "It allows you more flexibility with games, you choose where you want to go, and bam you won't have to go to the other side of the planet just to report on a game and be away from your family for who knows how long." Ginny's smile dropped a little as she looked like something was bothering her. Ginny did really hate going on long distance reports to games.
Rachel leaned across the table to pat Ginny on the hand, "It will only be in European and North African countries. So you won't need to wait for a Port Key as our floo networks are connected to the ministries of those countries as of now, allowing a family woman like you, as well as these fine ladies and gents, to come home every night." The woman gave the redhead a sympathetic smile, remembering how hard it was for Ginny to be away from home seven months after Albus was born for three weeks for a Quidditch match happening in Siberia for the Russian-Japanese play-offs.
Ginny brightened up as Harry came and sat next to her. "So what do you think about it, honey? It will be an amazing job. Good money too…" he whispered to her as a joke at the end of that and Ginny rolled her eyes at him, giving her husband a look as if he were serious; they were so insanely rich that they didn't even need to be paid for their jobs if they didn't want to.
"You are serious about being able to come home nights instead of sleeping in tents?" Ginny looked at Rachel for confirmation, wanting to be sure she was hearing things right.
"Yes," Rachel answered with a big smile.
Ginny then nodded as she kissed Harry on the cheek. "Yes, I'll run this."
"Great. Just to warn you Ginny that this branch won't really be under my watch as you are on the further side of the building, so you are in charge of overseeing it. Got it?"
"Of course, Rachel." Ginny said happily as the two women shook hands.
"Where were you doing here anyway sweetie?" Ginny asked after the meeting was over, and asked Kingsley for a moment with her husband in the hall.
"For security really." He shrugged, not really sure why, since everyone here could be trusted, "Two other aurors were outside the main entrance and break room."
"I did notice the latter two." She nodded having noticed them.
Harry smiled as he hugged her, "I need to get back to work to get my things. I'm off a few hours early, so I thought I'd take James and Albus out for ice cream while your mom watches Lily until you get off." Ginny grinned, happy that Harry would be spending time with their sons as she kissed him full on the lips, "You are such an amazing father."
Harry smiled at her and kissed her before he left the room to head back to work.
"Alright." Ginny clapped her hands together once she and the rest of the ten reporters entered their new office, "Names. I want names."
"Barry Randell." Said an older gentleman smiling at her in a dark blue suit with a balding head.
"Alice Corner." Ginny noticed she must be related to her ex-boyfriend, and curiosity got the better of her and asked, "You don't happen to be related to Michael Corner, right?"
A smile grew on her face, "I'm his wife. Why? You know him?" Ginny laughed a little as she nodded, "I dated him for a few months during my fourth year."
Alice chuckled. "So you're the redheaded girl he said he dated? He said you were an annoying cry baby."
Ginny frowned, as did Alice. "I didn't believe anything he said though as he dated Cho Chang before me, and she obviously fit that description but without the red hair."
Ginny giggled. "He wasn't bad at first, but once the initial sheen wore off… well, he just had certain sexist ideas about what our relationship 'should' have been like, and nothing I could do would deter him from those thoughts."
Alice nodded her head as she gave her a sympathetic knowing smile, "You're telling me. It took me a good two years to knock his mind into shape to think differently about women in sports."
"Allison Mendez." Said a young dark haired blond woman with freckles dotted across her cheeks.
"Parker Letterman." Said a middle-aged man who looked to a mystery about him as both his hands had bandages around them.
"Samantha Parks." Smiled a kind older black haired woman with glasses, almost the same as Harry's, and had a missing finger on her right hand.
"Xander Lancaster." This man had long hair and seemed to be the same age as Ginny as he nodded at her questioning look that they have known each other in the past.
"Charlie Dale." Said a fat man who looked like he was old enough to have been alive for most of the past century as his voice wheezed with his speech. Ginny thought that she should keep an eye on him.
"Tiffany Blake." Said an over enthusiastic green haired woman who looked like she was fangirling at being in the same room as the famous Quidditch star for the HolyHead Harpies. Ginny groaned and made a note to talk to her later.
"Sam George." Said a man with as much of an attitude like Percy's it felt like.
"Petra Simpson." This dark brown haired woman had a Russian accent which made sense to her robes that the woman was wearing.
"Jesse Alexander." Said a male her age who looked at her flirtatiously, not even bothering to hide the look, and it made Ginny want to hex him and then fire him, as Rachel gave her the power to fire people who bothered her a lot and or were inappropriate.
"Connor Alberts." Said an intern who Ginny had seen around the office at times. He did confirm to Ginny though that this new department got him a job here. Ginny smiled at him.
"Jenny Token, Connor's girlfriend." Ginny nodded at her knowing that Jenny has worked here longer than her boyfriend and was looking just as professional as Ginny's brother Percy would have.
"Roberta Yale." Nodded a beige colored haired woman giving Ginny a grin of excitement to work in this kind of department.
When Ginny finished making the roster of her department, she turned to everyone to ask about where they would like to go.
Ginny started first, "England, Ireland, France, Norway and Spain."
Alice Corner chose the same as she wanted to be close to home more too, and she could tell that Ginny and her would be great friends, as well as Ginny could tell.
Many of the rest of them chose more distant European countries, but at least would be close to home, and even that one guy who was looking like flirting with her, only chose Spain from her choices and winked at her. He chose Spain, Portugal and Germany.
At the end of the day after a long planning meeting that lasted until about 10:00 PM, Ginny returned home to find James, Albus and Harry asleep on the couch. When Molly came downstairs, she was briefly startled to see her daughter home so late, but greeted her with a hug and told her that Lily was asleep in her room.
Ginny and her mother sat down to discuss her day, and was very pleased to hear that her daughter got that kind of promotion and hugged her once again. "Harry was such a dear today when he got off work," Molly said affectionately.
Ginny giggled quietly, "I'm sure he was. He always is…" said the younger redhead with a happy distant look.
Fifteen minutes later, Molly decided to take her leave to allow Ginny to get the boys sorted and left through the floo.
When she returned home, Arthur was waiting for her in the living room working on a muggle cell phone, one that he had been working on for a few months now and was getting the occasional bit of help from Hermione and Harry.
"Come on dear. Let's go to bed." Molly smiled as she pulled Arthur to his feet.
Arthur gestured for her to go and soon followed his wife up to bed.
Thursday, July 31st, 2008 7:00 PM
"So… What was the reason you wanted to meet with us today?" Asked Dudley Dursley sitting in the middle of a restaurant in London with his 8-month pregnant wife Georgia, and Harry and Ginny.
"Er…" Harry muttered, "It's my birthday… Don't you remember?"
Dudley's eyes widened, "Ah yeah… I remember now. Happy birthday, Potter. How old are you? 28 years old?" Asked the chubby muggle out of curiosity; he'd never really paid much attention to Harry's birthdays when they were children, and going into hiding towards the end of the second war had thrown off his already-fragile track of the exact dates even further.
"Correct." Harry nodded with a smile and Ginny smiled at her husband and snuggled into his side. Georgia smiled seeing Ginny's action to cuddle into her husband, so she did the same thing with Dudley, though with a belly that contained a smaller person on the inside, it was a bit more difficult to do.
Ginny gave the other woman a knowing smile when they locked eyes a few moments later.
"So how are things going as a... wizard policeman?" Dudley asked casually before taking a bite of his food.
"I-It's going great," Harry said, just managing to hold back a smile at Dudley's slip.
"And it's called an auror Dudley." Ginny finished for him with a more composed expression, though her lips were still trying to climb to be a smile.
Georgia noticed their faces and frowned a bit but soon quietly laughed at the slip.
"You know…" Dudley butted in, joining in their laughter at his deliberate misnaming of his cousin's job, "Vicky Coleman misses you, Harry."
Ginny stopped laughing and immediately glared lightly at her husband for the comment her cousin-in-law had said, "Who is that Harry?" She was curious, but hidden beneath the surface her lion like attitude was wanting to burst forth.
"He never told you?" Dudley was smirking, loving making his cousin embarrassed and in trouble with his redheaded wife, "She was a girl who managed to get past me and my bullying friends in Primary School and actually befriend Harry."
Harry, for his part, was looking every confused and as well as scared by Ginny's pointed look. He raised an eyebrow, "I'm sorry Dudley but who? I've never heard of her."
Dudley smiled as he began to tell the story that he had heard from Vicky a couple of years after when she was worried about Harry after not seeing him for a few years.
Harry still looked confused as he really didn't remember anyone but Dudley's friends from his primary school years.
His wife looked like she wanted to track down his girl and tell her to back off of Harry, if she still liked him that is, and her jealousy streak is something Harry liked about her whenever it arose from deep within Ginny.
Dudley chuckled noticing this and continued on and how Vicky kept worrying about him up until the point he last saw her six years ago.
Ginny squinted her eyes and took Harry's hand and looked pointedly at him with a 'you're mine' kind of look that Harry couldn't help but chuckle at and give her a kiss to let her know to calm down.
With that kiss from her ever so loving husband, Ginny finally got over her glare, embarrassed a little that she got mad by hearing about some girl from Harry's childhood that he obviously didn't really seem to remember at all. It calmed her knowing that this girl probably won't come back to try and steal her Harry.
It was to her surprise that Harry looked rather stunned that he had actually managed to befriend someone in Primary School because he didn't remember that for the life of him, although it had been several years since then with lots going on with his life; it wasn't much of a surprise that a girl he'd only considered a peripheral acquaintance at best would slip his mind.
Ginny laughed at his expression before taking his hand as a silent apology for her initial jealousy, with Harry giving her a smile in return as they continued with their dinner. The waitress soon arrived asking if everything was alright at the end of their meal and Ginny paid for everyone. The woman raised her eyebrows at the amount of money she was paying for the meal.
Sure, the main meal was what it was, but the tip the redheaded patron left was quite considerable, leaving the waitress to confront her boss in shocking excitement.
All he had to say was, "Sounds like we had a rich customer in tonight. She must have been very generous." The woman smiled and hoped to thank the woman as she and her husband had been struggling lately, and this tip made her night.
Luckily enough, Ginny was still at the table talking to Georgia, and the young mid-twenties waitress, thanked Ginny for the generous tip and explained her situation to her and why it affected her to come and say thank you, making Ginny hug her tightly and to say that she hopes everything will be alright with her and her husband before walking out with Harry, Dudley and Georgia leaving a widely smiling waitress behind who desperately wanted to call her husband but was too stunned to even move.
"That was nice of you, Gin." Harry whispered to her as they got home after escorting the other happy couple back home.
Ginny beamed at him, "Yeah… Yeah, I guess that was, right?"
Monday, August 11th, 2008 7:00 AM
"You won't live past this moment Weasley. You won't live to see your next birthday. You will die tonight, like your friends, family and your precious boyfriend." Growled one of the Carrow professors cornering the redhead the night of the Battle of Hogwarts on the sixth floor on a balcony, forcing the redhead to make some pretty severe choices.
Ginny frowned at the female professor who had it out for her the entire time she was at Hogwarts before leaving to go into hiding on Christmas. Ginny knew that this 'interest' was due to her relationship with Harry; nobody could have truly believed they'd break up after Dumbledore's funeral, so the redhead had no idea why they'd even bothered to try and give that impression following Bill and Fleur's wedding.
Alecto snickered, "You barely have anywhere to go Weasley. What will it be? Die by my hand or jump to your death?"
Ginny looked anxiously behind her, aware that any jump into the courtyard would at least put her at risk of falling into the raging fire that now filled that area.
"I can't wait to tell Potter how his miserable girlfriend died… I'll laugh when he gives up hope and allows the Dark Lord to kill him. There will be no sunshines and rainbows for you to wake up to in the future. Tonight is your last."
The redhead looked back at the murderous woman, the memories of what she had done to the students all year came back to her in waves, and the threat to tell Harry that she had died struck a nerve in her. She was Ginny Weasley, a bloody warrior, and she wasn't going to go down like a chump. "Just shut your mouth you bloody monster." Ginny grit her teeth at her professor, now combatant, her eyes blazing with determination as she flicked her wand and a magical whip extended from it.
Alecto froze when noticing the whip coming from her opponent's wand and started to back away, but Ginny anticipated this and threw the whip around the older woman's neck, stepped up onto the railing, and smiled at the death eater, "Any last words? You better be quick because here we go…" Ginny suddenly jumped from the ledge, her wand held tightly in her grasp as she pulled Alecto over the edge, but not before the latter was knocked out by ramming the wall.
Ginny smirked even as she fell, knowing that her opponent had been knocked unconscious by her impulsive plan. As her 'whip' retreated back into her wand, Ginny turned her attention to a nearby window and launched another lasso-like spell at a piece of stone edging out of the castle. The stone grabbed by her spell, Ginny propelled herself towards the window, tightly shutting her eyes and turning her head to brace herself as she smashed through the glass into the debris filled corridor.
Just in time, she managed to cast a cushioning charm before she landed on a pile of stone. Coughing as she regained her balance, Ginny turned to look back through the shattered window just in time to see her opponent's body fall into the flames in the corner of the courtyard.
"Looks like you were wrong about who was going to get out of that," Ginny said with a bitter smile...
The dream ended as Ginny awoke to hearing the TV turn on, and she opened her bleary eyes to see Harry stripping off his pajama boxers and putting on a t-shirt and jeans.
"Don't you need to go to work today Harry?" Asked the brown-eyed girl tiredly as she stretched, only to be surprised at the sense of the cool air on her breasts, looking down to see that she was naked.
"Why am I naked dear?" She asked, for once as more of a perplexed question than a seductive one.
Harry chuckled. "Don't you remember? You had a hard day at work yesterday trying to organize everyone's files, you came home at lunch and took a bath, only to fall asleep in it. You told me yourself when I came home two hours after you. You must have been very tired." He smiled understandingly at her as she grabbed her bra and panties from a small pile on a nearby table.
"And you didn't bother to get something on me before settling me into bed dear?" asked the girl, raising an eyebrow at him as she pushed her breasts into her small bra that he must have just grabbed at random from her dresser. It was a bit uncomfortable to wear, but at least she wasn't going into work today. She smiled slightly knowing that today was her 27th birthday.
"Hey… I didn't want to disturb you much." She watched as he gestured to her bra and how hard it was to even clip on and nodded her acceptance.
Harry leaned down and kissed her hard on the lips, a kiss that Ginny eagerly returned as she wrapped her arms around his neck to deepen it as a smile grew on the redheads face.
"Happy birthday honey." Harry muttered as he pulled away from her lips, a grin on his face knowing she would love today just because he was with her.
"A very happy birthday indeed. Over ten years ago, when I stood in that destroyed courtyard, there were a few minutes I couldn't have known that this would be my future…" She brought her forehead to his and whispered, "Thank you for deciding to come back… back to me…"
Harry never told anyone, but Ginny, that the reason he had returned was because of her waiting for him. If she had died before he made the sacrifice, he would have gone on to join her with his parents, Sirius, Remus along with everyone else who died during the battle.
The Potter's were both incredibly happy that he had been given a choice to return. Look what such a choice led to for their future.
"Come on… I have plans for us today." Harry said as he led her into the bathroom for a quick shower.
Monday, August 11th, 2008 9:00 AM
"So much for a quick shower." Ginny teased her husband as they stepped out of it onto the bathmat, Ginny dripping both water and her release from the quick sex they just had. Harry smirked at her as he kissed her. "Tonight after I get home from my few hour shift, I was thinking the kids stay over at your parents, so we could be alone."
Ginny spun in his arms smirking at him while purring like a cat, "I like how you think Harry Potter. No going out… just us staying in and…" She cupped his balls, giving them a light squeeze while stroking his penis with her other hand, "Getting comfortable." Harry shivered from her whisper against his ear feeling like he was going to release again.
Ginny stopped stroking him the moment he felt as if he was about to tip over the edge and quickly left the bathroom swinging her hips to tease him, "Come along now husband of mine." She beckoned.
Harry chuckled as he walked into the room only to have his underwear thrown in his face by his playful wife. "Think fast," she said with a teasing smirk, knowing she had said it a few seconds too late.
"Witch." He growled playfully.
Ginny giggled before diving into her dresser to look for some clothing, swinging her butt on purpose to irritate Harry.
"So what are we going to do before you head in to work?" Ginny asked curiously as she put on a more comfortable bra.
Harry smiled as he walked over and slapped her bottom. Ginny yelped as she turned to glare at him for that slap.
"I was thinking we walk then have a picnic." He smiled at her, ignoring her glare.
Ginny smiled after a few moments, "Fine. Just let me get dressed."

"You know it is a rather nice day out, despite those clouds in the distance." Ginny said as she saw dark clouds on the horizon, recalling the afternoon rainstorm predicted on the news.
"Don't worry Gin. We are only going to be out here for an hour." Harry said to her with a smile as he led her down the path they both had made in their backyard that led to a beautiful pond where frogs loved to hang out.
Ginny smiled as she carried a picnic basket, and she was wearing an emerald green dress that matched the eyes of the man of her dreams, while the red flowers on the dress made a nice representation of the color of her hair.
Harry and Ginny were in awe at the state of this path they had made not long after they had moved into this home once realizing they had a property here. They found this special pond, which soon became a place for them and their nearby friends to relax. Ginny was surprised to realize that she hadn't been to this pond since James was born, and she missed it.
Glancing back at the house from where they were positioned, Ginny got a good look at the back of the house from a distance, again, something she hasn't really seen in years.
They soon reached their destination and with a flick of his wand, Harry had set out the picnic and Ginny sat down, her arms outstretched behind her.
"Anything special planned for work today babe?" Ginny asked casually, taking a bit of her cheese sandwich.
Harry shrugged, "Nothing much but a couple meetings." Truth be told Harry despised them and wished to just be home with his wife on her birthday.
Ginny knew how much he despised auror meetings. She remembered getting a letter nearly every other week during her seventh year at Hogwarts which basically consisted of nothing more than Harry complaining about a particularly boring meeting, only 'remembering' to acknowledge that he loved and missed her at brief points during the letter. But since it was a rare occurrence it didn't bother her at all.
Harry poured the both of them a glass of wine and water, which Ginny was grateful for as she hadn't had wine since finding out she was pregnant with Lily.
That was when Ginny's eyes shot open, "Bloody hell… We left the kids home alone…" Ginny panicked as she began to get up, but Harry pulled her back down with a reassuring smile.
"Relax. Ron came and got them while you slept since I was up early. He took them to your parents since he was heading there for tea. Besides." He leaned in to where he was just about to touch her lips, "...Do you really think I would have left the kids alone?"
Ginny beautifully giggled blushing a dark scarlet as she so wanted to kiss him, "I don't know… You tend to forget things at relatively random times," the brown eyed redhead smirked, watching as his lips neared hers.
Just an inch away from her lips, Harry whispered, "I would never forget such a thing." Then they were both in a heated session of making out and Harry laid her down on the blanket, kissing all over the exposed skin that her dress didn't hide. Her arms, legs below her knees, face and the tops of her breasts that stuck out of her dress. Ginny gasped feeling this as she wrapped her arms around his head and practically slammed his face onto hers in a hungry kiss.
He stuck his hand under her dress and began to rub her stomach, although not athletically flat like back before she had children, it was still smooth and flat enough for Ginny to not be self-conscious about being fat.
Besides, so long as Harry and her Mistress loved her stomach, that was all that mattered...
"Life with you has been the greatest." Said Ginny when they ended the kiss breathing heavily trying to control their breathing. Harry grinned pulling her up into his lap making Ginny giggle softly.
"I know right? Who knows how amazing our life would have been if you married some other bloke…" Ginny cut him off with a finger to his lips, shaking her head in warning though as a tease because she grinned, "Don't bring that up. I wouldn't have married another bloke because the only person I ever had my eyes on… Was you." Ginny smiled beautifully at him, placing her hand on his cheek.
As he leaned into her tough, Ginny gave him a rather smug looking smile, "Plus… We have a soul bond Harry. I don't think it would have allowed us to marry someone else." The smile on her face made the black haired man chuckle due to how smug it was. Both of them laughed happily before digging into their lunch once again.
Meanwhile, out of the view from Ginny's line of sight, Milikan sat in a tree watching the couple in silence. On one level, she wanted to make sure nothing attacked them, but on another level, she was taking advantage of a rare opportunity to watch Harry and Ginny interact just as a couple, rather than as parents or part of a wider family.
"Just look at them…" Milikan mused to herself, pleased to see that her servant had such a caring husband. "So adorable. I wish I had hypnotized Ginny when I first saw her ten years ago, so I could watch what they were like dating..." The snake shook her head in amusement at that thought. "Then again, they probably acted the same way they do now."
Biting into her cheese sandwich again, Ginny grinned when Harry was staring at her with a loving gaze as he drank his wine.
"Something on your mind my love?" Ginny mentally giggled knowing it was her. It was almost always her.
"I'm just admiring how beautiful you are." He said with praise. Ginny blushed as he was the only one who could even get that kind of reaction out of her with that kind of complement.
Smiling shyly at the man who sent her the compliment, Ginny rubbed her hand up his leg as she said in a shy tone, "Well… You are very handsome."
Harry grinned as he hugged her, "We make a good couple." Ginny sighed, snuggling into his hug, "The best." She murmured smiling, "Nothing on this Earth would make me want to give you up." Harry felt touched hearing that as she had never said that before and in response he hugged her tighter, which Ginny gladly snuggled even harder into.
Soon the two of them produced a radio out of thin air and began to dance to the rhythm that played during their wedding reception, and it brought Ginny all the way back to that time when she was even happier than she was now. Though the happiness she felt was still the same almost.
"Ladies and gentlemen… Give it up for Mr. Potter and the new Mrs. Potter. Clear the dance floor. The happy couple want to have a dance just to themselves. Let's cheer them on." Called George Weasley as he sat behind the piano. He had been getting piano lessons recently, and he wasn't going to mess this up. He had created a new song just for the newlyweds.
The song was labelled on the piano as 'Weasley Soul' to remember Fred by a few months after the war ended, but now George had turned it into a wedding reception song.
Ginny rested her head against Harry's shoulder as they slowly danced, "This is the happiest day of my life…" Ginny mumbled smiling as her new husband led her around the dance floor.
"I could say the same thing. At least I have a reason for this to be. You'd had lots of happiness growing up." He said, remembering not to mention the Dursley's by name to upset Ginny. She quietly hated them with a passion, even if only Harry knew the full extent of that resentment.
After a few moments, more couples joined them out on the dance floor. "I can't believe my dream came true…" Ginny cried lightly staring into the emerald green eyes she loves so much. Harry stared down into her eyes as he gave her a light kiss, "Believe it Mrs. Potter. You'll be living this life for the rest of it." He teased, though Ginny just nodded, "I love you…"
"Call me Mrs. Potter again." She hummed. She loved her new name so much that it so much better than Weasley.
"Mrs… Potter…" Harry huskily whispered in her ear that set things aflame in her body as she asked, or more precisely, begged, "When do we leave for the honeymoon?"
Harry laughed as they kissed again.
Back in reality, Ginny and Harry shared a longer, more passionate kiss than the one that they had shared near the end of their wedding reception, even if here they weren't about to be interrupted by someone's brothers watching them like hawks when around them.
They stared into each other's eyes, Ginny's filled with tears as this reminded her so much of their wedding, and Harry's showing recognition for the feeling. Just a few minutes later, however, they had to start packing up their things, as it was nearing the time when Harry would have to leave for work. Though Ginny didn't want him to go, the thought that they would be alone tonight made her ecstatic still.
She watched him leave through the floo, and right before she was going to turn on the TV, she heard someone say something that made her smile.
"So has he gone to work? Is it my turn to give the birthday girl some birthday fun?"
Ginny giggled as she removed her dress, bra and panties, "Yes, Mistress."
