POKEMON Detective Pikachu Trailer
After Nanny Glynda had reluctantly cleaned up the mess that was made in the theater, she returned to her seat though she was mumbling a few colorful words about Bill on the way.
"Okay, now that's settled. You guys ready for the next one?" Bill asked.
"Yeah!" The enthusiastic teens shouted while everyone else gave out simple "yeah's" and "yes's"
Bill rolled his eyes "For the record, most of you guys are super dull."
And with that, Bill teleported to his seat and began the trailer.
The trailer began by showing Jaune's back as he walked out from under a bridge into a plaza filled with people and Grimm coexisting peacefully and going about their normal lives.
"Welcome to Rym city." A voice over a speaker said.
Everyone was shocked, yes shocked, at the spectacle. Everyone was at peace and the Grimm weren't trying to kill anyone.
"What the!?" Yang shouted with her eyes wide.
"Well this is strange." Roman said as he was shocked.
"Why aren't my precious Grimm ripping those humans limb from limb?" Salem asked as she was shocked as well.
"Care to explain?" Ozpin asked as he looked at Bill.
All eyes were now on him and he rolled his eye.
"You wanna take this one or…?" Bill asked as he looked at God Raven.
God Raven sighed and stood up, bringing all the attention onto her.
"In universe 26, humans and Faunus and Grimm live together in harmony. They all see each other as equals and have learned to coexist, something you all clearly will never learn." God Raven explained, rolling her eyes at the last part.
"This universe has achieved actual peace?" James asked in shock.
"Yeah turns out gun swords aren't needed in life, who knew?" Bill sarcastically asked.
"So it is possible for our universe…to achieve peace?" Summer hesitantly asked.
"Doubt it." Bill answered.
"Maybe." God Raven drawled out.
"Always stay positive." Nanny Glynda optimistically cheered.
Listening to the Gods varied answers, the cast looked at each other a bit differently. Did they really have to be enemies; they really never have talked out their problems have they?
"A celebration of the harmony between humans and Grimm." The voice continued as Pyrrha was shown holding onto a car door with a baby Ursa standing next to her.
"You know besides their obvious downsides; baby Grimm are pretty cute." Saphron admitted.
"Right!" Kali said as she totally agreed.
"It's weird seeing people being okay with the things we're supposed to kill." Ruby said
' Story of my life' Adam thought with a scowl as he heard what Ruby said.
Jaune was shown walking through the streets then he was shown looking at framed up certificates.
"Jaune. Your dad was a legend in this precinct." Ozpin said.
"Is your dad a cop in this one fearless leader?" Nora asked.
Jaune shrugged "Maybe he is, my dad doesn't do much ever since he retired."
Saphron scoffed 'Besides the constant baby making he does with mom'
"If you were anything like your dad-" Ozpin said but Jaune cut him off.
"I'm not!" Jaune interrupted.
"Getting a little defensive there Jaune." Neptune said.
"Great more family drama." Emerald said as she rolled her eyes.
"Did this dad do something?" Saphron asked.
"He must've." Jaune said with a shrug.
Jaune was shown walking to an apartment, entering it and going inside a room. The room looked untouched with multiple posters of different Grimm.
"I remember." Ozpin said "You wanted to be a Grimm trainer when you were young."
"What's a Grimm trainer?" Velvet asked.
"I can't seem to find any information about this 'Grimm trainer' in my database." Penny said.
Ruby laughed awkwardly "Of course you can't, because it's from a different universe."
"Why'd she say database though?" Yang asked.
"Because that's how they say brain in Atlas, database. They're very fancy with their words." Ruby quickly lied.
"No we don't." Weiss answered.
James saw what she was doing and jumped in to help the young girl "She's talking about the northern side, the one with very few people."
"What northern si-" Winter was about to ask but James hit her with his elbow "Oh yes the northern side! Only a few villages live there, you wouldn't know it Weiss."
"Uh…" Weiss said.
"I have no data of this Northern side of at-" Penny was cut off when Ruby shut her mouth.
"Oh northern Atlantians, they're so funny." Ruby said as she, James and Winter awkwardly smiled.
There was a pause and everything was quiet.
"Okay…" Blake said as she broke the silence.
"To answer your question, a Grimm trainer is exactly what it sounds like. A person who captures Grimm or befriends them, in order to form a bond with them." Nanny Glynda explained.
"You can catch Grimm?" Ruby asked.
"Yes but it's not easy." Port answered.
"Interesting." Watts said as he wrote in his notebook, Glynda recorded the information as well.
Jaune looked at a poster that said 'VACUO CHAMPIONSHIP XXIV'
"Yeah that didn't really work out." Jaune said as he was shown looking at a passport ticket.
"Things in life will never go your way." Qrow said with a sigh as he took a long gulp of his drink.
Raven frowned 'Is that his mindset now?! He knows what his Semblance does so I wouldn't blame him but…'
Jaune looked out of the room as he heard feet scattering around the apartment, he picked up a nearby stapler and aimed it at the unknown intruder
"Someone there?" Jaune asked.
"Did you just pick up a stapler?" Ruby dully asked.
Most laughed at that while some were just disappointed.
Jaune groaned "You have got to be kidding me."
"So far this Jaune is not as impressive as the others." Ren said.
"He's not so bad and besides have hope, it just started." Coco said.
A small black figure was shown sneaking around the furniture.
"Whoever you are, I know how to use this." Jaune said as he loaded the stapler.
"Fear the great stapler." Cinder said as she laughed.
"Jaune Arc A.K.A Sheriff desk jockey." Roman said and everyone laughed.
"He was a lonely man." Sun started in a deep voice.
"With a lot of paperwork." Neptune continued in an equally deep voice while everyone else was snickering.
"But then one day, the paperwork fought back!" Sun said dramatically.
"DUN! DUN! DUN!" Mercury shouted.
"Now armed with his stapler, Jaune Arc will conquer his assignment!!" Neptune said.
"BOOM! Desk Jockey 2: The empire staple's back!" Roman finished.
And with that everybody died with laughter, falling out of their seats with tears in their eyes. Even Bill laughed, Nanny Glynda giggled and God Raven smirked and that's saying something. After a while the laughter died down and everyone was finally calm, Bill continued the trailer then.
As Jaune approached the intruder, their shadow was shown. He got closer and the intruder revealed themselves as they peeked behind a counter. The intruder was revealed to be Zwei! But he looked very different, he was totally black in color with a bit of white fur on his chest, his paws and his feet. He had red eyes, similar to Raven's and he wore some kind of animal's skull on his head like a hat.
Everyone was shocked at what they were seeing.
"Is that Zwei!?" Ruby shouted after a long pause of silence.
The dog in question barked and tilted his head in confusion as he looked at his other self.
"Why does he look like that!?" Taiyang shouted.
"He looks like a freakin' Grimm!!" Yang shouted.
"This Zwei is a Grimm." Nanny Glynda informed.
"A baby Beowulf to be exact." Bill said.
Summer and Ruby almost fainted as they heard this.
"So you're telling me that mutt is a Grimm?" Roman asked.
"Yeah." Bill answered.
Neo picked up Zwei as Roman gestured to the dog.
"Him!? A man eating monster!?" Roman shouted.
"Yeah." Bill answered.
Roman face palmed "Now I've seen everything."
"Doubt it." Yang said as she grabbed Zwei and walked back to her seat.
"He's still cute." Kali commented as she looked at the Zwei on the screen.
Salem couldn't stop looking at Grimm Zwei because her heart swelled when she looked at him and she felt a sense of longing for the Grimm.
"So far, I don't think anything can surprise me anymore." Cinder said with a sigh.
"Ah geez." Zwei groaned as he climbed onto the counter "Here we go."
This time Ruby, Yang and Summer actually fainted while everyone else jaw dropped.
"I was wrong…" Cinder admitted as she grabbed a can of beer from Qrow, who let out a 'Hey!', and drank it in one gulp.
"So he…can talk." Taiyang said with his eyes wide.
"Looks like it." Ozpin said in equal shock.
"A talking Grimm!?" Tyrian shouted then he grinned "That's so cool!"
"I can't make talking Grimm." Salem said then looked to Bill "How is he talking?"
Bill shrugged "No spoilers."
"I know you can't understand me but put down the stapler or I will blast you." Zwei said with Qrow's voice as he gestured to his mouth.
"Did that dog just sound familiar to you or…?" Coco asked.
"It kinda sounded like you Qrow." James said.
Qrow scoffed "Impossible!"
"I'm pretty sure Zwei has your voice." Taiyang said.
"I know my brother's voice and that dog is using it." Raven said.
Ruby and Summer groaned as they woke up but fainted once more when they heard Grimm Zwei's voice. Yang and Amber sighed as they helped Summer and Ruby wake up.
"Okay so let me get this straight." Ruby said as she got her bearings "Zwei is a Grimm and he can talk?"
"That pretty much sums it up." Bill said.
"What did he mean when he said he would blast Jaune?" Pyrrha asked.
"Oh, well all Grimm in Universe 26 have special powers and Zwei has the power to make energy beams that burn through things from his mouth." Bill explained.
This surprised everyone.
"All Grimm have these special abilities?" Glynda asked.
"Yeah." Bill answered.
"Like what?" Winter asked.
"Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning and so much more." God Raven answered this time.
"Universe 26 is awesome!" Jaune shouted.
"What?" Blake asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Come on! Everyone's at peace and Grimm have powers that they don't use to harm people." Jaune explained.
"Yeah I guess you're right." Blake answered.
Jaune dropped the stapler in shock.
"Did you…just talk?" Jaune asked.
"Whoa, did you just understand me?" Zwei asked.
'Note to self: research more into Grimm languages.' Oobleck thought.
Jaune was in complete denial as he tried to cover his ears but Zwei kept on talking.
"Oh my God! You can understand me!" Zwei shouted.
"Stop!" Jaune shouted since he was freaking out.
"I've been so lonely." Zwei said.
"Aww." The girls cooed.
Yang picked up Zwei "Are you lonely boy?"
Zwei barked and started licking her as she giggled.
A crowded market place was shown with Jaune and Zwei walking through it.
"They try to talk to me all the time but all they hear is 'Zwi, Zwi.'" Zwei explained.
Jaune was shown looking at Weiss and Neptune as he pointed at Zwei.
"You can hear him right?" Jaune asked.
"Zwi, Zwi!" Zwei said.
"Yeah! Zwi, Zwi, Zwi. He's adorable." Weiss said as she looked at Zwei.
"You're adorable." Zwei said then he looked at Jaune "They can't understand me kid."
"No you're adorable." Weiss cooed as she hugged Zwei.
"It still surprises me how someone so cold can change their personality's so fast when it comes to animals." Ruby commented.
"That's because everyone loves dogs." Yang said then she looked at Blake "Well almost everyone."
Blake rolled her eyes "Just keep him away from me."
"Can no one else hear him!?" Jaune shouted.
"Freaking out there Arc?" Mercury asked.
"I mean, if you were the only one that could talk to Grimm then you would freak out too." Jaune responded.
"Sweet Oum, I swear if there's a universe where someone can talk to animals then I'm gonna lose it." Adam said with a growl.
Jaune and Zwei were shown sitting on a bench at the park at night.
"I don't need a Grimm, Period." Jaune stated.
"Aww Jaune, how can you say no to that face?" Saphron asked.
Jaune rolled his eyes.
"Then how about a world class detective?" Zwei asked as Jaune was walking past him.
"Because if you wanna find your pops." Zwei continued as a car was shown exploding with a blonde man crawling out of it
A wanted poster was shown with Zwei's shadow walking past it "I'm your best bet."
Jaune sighed as Zwei smirked "We're gonna do this, you and me."
"I hope dads okay." Saphron said.
"He's tough, I know that me and Zwei will find him." Jaune said.
"Aww, but we're supposed to be the junior detectives!" Sun shouted.
"You trying steal our business Arc?" Neptune accused.
"Who's idea was it to make these dunderheads junior detectives?" Vernal whispered.
Ozpin sighed "It was either that or sending them on an actual mission."
PARTNER UP
The different teams high fived each other while some adults watched with smiled on their faces.
Jaune was shown holding Zwei as he walked on a river with a line of Boarbatusks.
"I think I'm starting to feel bad about killing these things." Weiss said with a frown.
A baby Beowulf was shown standing on a table with an angry look on its face with a marker in hand.
WITH A LEGEND
A dragon Grimm was shown breathing red flames.
"WHOA!!!" Nora, Ruby, Jaune, Yang, Oscar, Sun and Neptune shouted.
"In all my years, I have never seen a Grimm like that." Ozpin said in shock.
"That thing looks terrifying." Velvet said.
"Good thing it isn't in our universe right?" Roman laughed but when he saw that nobody else laughed he became worried "Right?"
Salem face palmed and groaned "Great. Now I have to come up with an all new Grimm and rethink my plan, these universes are revealing too much."
God Raven shivered 'Hang on, the plot changed.'
Bill and Nanny Glynda looked at her, she knew they felt it too and a smirk made its way onto her face while Bill chuckled.
Beowolves were shown jumping in the air and throwing water shurikens.
"Oh my God, they have ninja Grimm!" Junior shouted.
"Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!" Mercury shouted.
Jaune and Zwei were shown standing in front of iron gates then Jaune was shown running away as a wall exploded behind him.
"And the explosions continue." Emerald said with an eye roll.
"They will never stop being awesome." Roman said.
"You said it." Mercury and Junior agreed while the girls rolled their eyes.
"There's magic that brought us together." Zwei said.
Jaune, Pyrrha, Zwei and her Ursa were shown driving in her car.
"And that magic is called hope!" Zwei finished.
"Didn't think you were one for speeches Zwei." Summer said as she looked at the dog.
Zwei barked as he ran around the theater.
"That was clearly me." Qrow said.
"No it was the dog." Raven said.
"What?" Qrow asked.
"Yeah I clearly saw the dog talking." Winter said.
"But you guys said that he has my voice." Qrow said.
Sienna snorted "No we didn't."
"What the hell!?" Qrow shouted as most laughed.
Jaune, Pyrrha, Zwei and her Ursa were shown looking shocked and scared on the ground. There was a giant mountain coming towards them.
"It isn't an official universe if something crazy doesn't happen." Taiyang said.
Ghira chuckled "No it isn't."
A light was switched as Zwei and Jaune were shown looking at a Beowulf in a snazzy purple suit.
"Listen up we got ways to make you talk or mime." Zwei said.
"Yeah." Jaune supported.
"Oh! Good cop, Bad cop!" Sun shouted.
"Classic." Neptune commented with a sigh.
"I'm not even gonna question why that Beowulf is dressed like that." Salem said with a sigh.
"So tell us what we wanna know." Zwei said as he pointed at the Beowulf.
The Beowulf started miming as he made a pushing motion.
"Okay, yes! A can! Shoving? Pushing! My problem is that I push people away and hate them for leaving." Zwei guessed.
"That's spot on." Qrow said as he looked at Raven with a sigh.
Raven looked at him guiltily while some were saddened when they saw the sibling's relationships.
"He's saying you can shove it." Jaune deduced as the Grimm pointed at him and nodded.
"Wow that was quick Arc, maybe you are junior detective material." Sun said.
Jaune grinned "Really?"
"Maybe." Neptune said.
"What? I can shove it! Okay that's it, we're switching roles. I'm bad cop, you're good cop." Zwei said as he jumped at the Grimm as Jaune tried to stop him.
Zwei crashed onto an invisible wall and slid off it.
"In my head I saw that differently." Zwei said with a groan.
The cast were once again shocked.
"Did that Grimm just create an invisible wall!?" Vernal shouted in shock.
"It just…mimed it." Velvet said.
"How come our Grimm aren't that cool!?" Tyrian shouted.
Salem narrowed her eyes at him.
Tyrian sweated nervously and gulped "What I meant was…Our Grimm have so much potential."
Salem just rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore the idiot.
QROW BRANWEN
Jaune and Zwei were shown, Zwei on Jaune's shoulder, backing away from the ninja Grimm.
JAUNE ARC
Jaune was shown sliding down a tube as Pyrrha's Ursa opened its mouth.
"Jaune always gets the cool universes." Ruby said with a pout.
"At least you still have Iron Rose." Blake said as she nudged her friend.
Ruby puffed out her cheeks "I guess."
Zwei was shown screaming in the air as the dragon Grimm was about to swallow him whole.
Most gasped at this and Zwei cried, getting picked up by Summer as she comforted him.
"You better save that dog Jaune!" Sun shouted as he grabbed Jaune's shoulders and shook him.
"Yeah! That's our Junior pet detective right there!" Neptune shouted.
"I wouldn't let anything happen to my partner." Jaune said with a nod.
GRIMTALES DETECTIVE ZWEI
Bill floated up to the front as he looked at everyone.
"So what'd you think?" Bill asked.
"Well I learned that literally anyone or anything I know can be important in a different universe." Jaune said.
"Side characters are the most important characters." Bill reassured and Jaune smiled with a nod.
"Is Zwei gonna be okay?" Ruby asked.
"And please don't say no spoilers." Yang said.
Bill rolled his eye "Yeah, he'll be fine."
The Xiao Long and Rose family sighed in relief.
"I think I need to put more effort into creating my Grimm." Salem said.
Ozpin sighed "Now I have to work twice as hard to stop you."
"I'd like to see you try." Salem said with a teasing smirk.
"I just might surprise you." Ozpin said with his own smirk.
They both realized what they were doing and immediately glared at each other with frowns.
Bill sighed "I call that progress."
"That was weird." Cinder said as she watched the exchange.
"Alright! Onto the next one!" Bill shouted.
