Hey, guys. I'm back with the Rewrite of "A Gamer among the Supernatural"! I decided that the Story could have been so much more than what it was and so I decided to go back and make it better… hopefully. I won't delete the old version of this story, if someone wants to check out the before-and-after effects he is free to do so. But you are to read the story and not my rambling so why don't we skip right through it.

Train Ritter, Unknown Location

When I opened my eyes I did expect a couple of things. For example, my alarm clock ringing, even so, I have holidays, my grandfather waking me from morning practice, or just the sunlight being annoying. However, what was in front of my eyes when I actually opened them was something that I didn't expect. I mean who would expect to wake up with a floating screen in front of their face.

[Good Morning, Train Ritter. You have been selected to be reborn as a person with the ability known as "The Gamer".]

"…I should really stop playing games before heading to bed. Now they are even affecting my dreams," I said shaking my head.

[I can assure you that this isn't a dream. I advise you to listen closely and take this serious because what happens next will affect you for the rest of your life. And will be vital for your future survival.]

"Whatever," I replied as I looked around to see that I was in an empty dark void. "I thought if I dream it would be a bit more interesting."

[I repeat myself, this is NOT a dream!]

"Okay… let's say I believe you. If this isn't a dream… what is this then?" I asked whatever I was talking to.

[Your rebirth.]

"Re… birth?" I asked wondering how my brain came up with something so stupid.

[That's correct. You will be reborn into a different world which is similar to your current.]

"Okay…" I said weirded out.

[The world you will enter is geographically identical to yours. Also, every person living in your world has a version of themselves in that alternative world.]

"Ha, that means even after my "rebirth" I have to deal with my grandparents… great," I said jokingly. "So, what is different to my "current" World?"

[To put it simply, in the World you will become part of all kinds of Supernatural Beings that exist.]

"You mean stuff like vampires and werewolves?" I asked the System.

[Not only these kinds of "monsters" but also Angels, Devils, Gods, and many more.]

"Gods? Like the one of the Bible?" I asked the System.

[Well… yes.]

'For some reason, the System seemed to hesitate when I asked about the God of the Bible… oh well, this is just a dream no need to think too hard about it,' I thought to myself.

"What about us humans?" I asked the System.

[Most of the human population in the world doesn't know about the Supernatural Beings surrounding them, but there are some who are entangled in the Supernatural… just like you will be.]

"So… I take it these humans have to serve the gods or something like that. I doubt that we fragile humans can do anything to them," I said to the System getting a bit annoyed by that thought.

[It is true that humans are the weakest intelligent species on the planet, but they have "Perks" and "Abilities" that other races don't have. With these and enough training they can protect themselves from the common threats of the world.]

"What Perks have human to which Angels, Devils, and even Gods have no access to?" I asked finding that intriguing.

[The most important thing is that only Humans and Human-Hybrids can be born with a Sacred Gear.]

"A Sacred Gear? What's that?" I asked.

[Sacred Gears are weapons or tools that are given to random humans at birth. They have a wide variety of abilities. These abilities can be healing wounds, creating specific items, boost your own powers or weaken your opponents, and so much more. Among these Sacred Gears there are a total of 13 that even give their wielders the potential to kill a God or Satan.]

"Okay… maybe humans aren't that defenseless. However, wouldn't that make their Wielders targets for Supernatural Beings?" I asked starting to think about this stuff more.

[Indeed. Sacred Gear wielders are often targeted, but not to be killed. Instead of that many try to recruit them into their own ranks. The Angels, for example, try to recruit them for the church. However, in the case of the Devils, the circumstances of recruitments are special. Instead of just recruiting them Devils have found a way to reincarnate other Species into Devils and then integrate them into their Society. At first, people there start out as Servants, but they can eventually become High-Ranking Devil if they put in the effort.]

"Okay, being a Sacred Gear user gets you a lot of attention," I said understanding why they would try to recruit them for their side.

[I should probably also inform you that there are humans who can combat the Supernatural without Sacred Gears. Some have the ability to wield the Holy Swords, like Caliburn, or Demon Swords, like Gram, of legends, or they trained really hard to be able to do so.]

"Huh… it is kind of surprising hearing that humans can defeat mythical beings with just enough training," I stated as I heard that.

[I think you know now the basics of your new World. Now let us talk about your new "Gamer" ability.]

"Sure, I am all ears."

[Then let's start by opening your "Menu". You can access it by either open it via voice command or mentally, by saying/thinking "Menu".]

"Simple enough," I said to the System before thinking 'Menu'.

[Menu]

[Harem]

[Glossary]

"Okay, before we continue with anything I want to know why there is a Harem Tab!" I said as I saw that thing that stuck out of all the "normal" Tabs. Not that I was against it or anything... I just found it strange.

[Oh, I forgot the mention that it is not uncommon for strong individuals to have Harems in the World you are about to enter. If you aren't able to at least get the attention of one female and bed with the Sacred Gear you possess and "Gamer" Ability then it would be pretty sad… or you're gay.]

"I am not gay!" I said before thinking about what the System just said. "Wait a second! I have a Sacred Gear?"

[That is correct and if we could move on you will also learn what it is.]

"Fine… I want to know what Sacred Gear I have," I said pushing the Harem thing into the back of my mind.

[Good, let us waste no time and open your Status Menu.]

A second later I had a Screen in front of my face that resembled that of an RPG character, there was even a picture of me.

[Name: Train Ritter]

[Title: The Gamer]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 1]

[EXP: 0/1.000]

[Health: 20]

[Mana: 20]

[STR: 2]

[CON: 2]

[DEX: 2]

[INT: 2]

[WIS: 2]

[Points to spend: 10]

In the picture, I had my normal spiky, messy black hair with some of the hanging down in my face… well; they looked as if I just got out of bed. As for my eyes, they were probably the most uncommon thing about me. My iris was pitch black which was something I inherited from my mother's side of the family. And finally, I was around 176cm tall.

"So, I have a two in everything… but what does each of these Stats do? I can guess that the "Points to spend" are the points with which I increase my Stats," I said as I looked at everything.

[You are correct about your points to spend. For the rest I have a very simple and short explanation of what each of them does.]

[-STR (Strength): Improves Damage dealt with strength-based weapons and abilities. Also increases the Block Chance.]

[-CON (Constitution): Improves health and physical resistances. Also increases Health regeneration.]

[-DEX (Dexterity): Improves the movement speed and evasion rate. Also increases the Critical Chance.]

[-INT (Intelligence): Improves the damage of intelligence-based weapons and abilities. Also increases the Mana regeneration.]

[-WIS (Wisdom): Improves the damage of willpower-based weapons and abilities. Also increases maximum Mana points and magical resistances.]

"Okay, I think I get everything," I said after reading the small explanations.

[Then please proceed to spend your points.]

"Would it be possible for me to first know what my Sacred Gear does? I mean, I will most likely build my fighting style around it," I said to the System.

[We would talk about your Sacred Gear when we get to your Skills.]

"Can't we talk about my Skills first and disturb my Points afterward? That would make more sense," I argued.

[I guess there is no harm in letting you take a look at your Skills and Sacred Gear before disturbing the Stat Points.]

"Great," I said as I forgot more and more than this was just a dream… or was it not.

[Okay, then let's switch over to your "Skills" Menu. I think you know how to do that.]

"I'm not stupid," I replied as I opened the Menu.

[Skills]

[-Passive Skills (3)]

[-INT Skills (0)]

[-WIS Skills (0)]

[-Special Skills (2)]

[-Sacred Gear: Canis Lykaon]

"A total of five categories… and it seems that my Sacred Gear is called Canis Lykaon," I said wondering what kind of name that was.

[That is correct. About which would you like to be informed first, the different Skill categories or your Sacred Gear?]

"I'm actually more interested in my Sacred Gear right now," I said wanting to know what Canis Lykaon was before I wake up.

[Alright, I will give you a short explanation of what it is.]

[Canis Lykaon, also known as the Dog God of the Black Blade, is a Longinus that takes the form of a huge black dog with red eyes. This Longinus is an independent avatar type and has its own instinct. It has the ability to produce blades from its body and can transform itself into a sword. It can also attack through shadows.]

"I always wanted to have a dog," I said with a smirk before rereading the text where a single word caught his attention. "Longinus? Wasn't that one of the Gears that gives their wielder the potential to kill a god?"

[You remember correctly. Your Sacred Gear is one of these thirteen.]

"This is great," I said with a smirk.

[But it will make you a big target for all Factions.]

"Yeah, I have to keep that in mind," I said thinking that there was no way I would sleep long enough to get to that part.

[Good then let us talk about your Skills Categories before we go back and disturb your points.]

"Sounds good... I always chose my Skills before I decided how to spend my points," I stated with a smile.

[Well, if you have played Video Games before you have to have at least an idea of what skills there are.]

"That's true," I stated with a smile.

[Then let us skip the explanation in getting right into acquiring your Skills. To start this you will get 20 Skill Points which you can spend to acquire Skills from a List I will provide you with. Among them will be a couple of Special Skills, but they are more costly than regular Skills.]

"Sure, that sounds good," I said as the List appeared in front of me.

This list had so many different Skills on them and I had a field day to check every single one of them before thinking about different builds. What should I do? There were so many options and I only had one try to find the best build. Should I go for a physical Damage Dealer, or maybe be a Tank? Maybe I should go for a Magic character focusing on INT and WIS? Okay, the last might not be so great if my Sacred Gears focused on swords. In the end, I decided to go with a jack of all trades build. The reason behind that was that all other builds had a specific weakness but with this build, I have no weakness my opponent could use to defeat me. As for my Skills, I choose to get a total of three Skills… quality over quantity.

[Gifted Senses (Passive Skill): The wielder of this skill has extremely sharp senses by nature that can be further honed to the limit. Rank: B] (Cost 3)]

[Holy Demonic Element (Special Ability): The Wielder of this Skill is capable of wielding both Holy and Demonic Swords. This Element is an abnormality that shouldn't exist. This Skill can be inherited by your offsprings. Rank: A] (Cost 7)

[Sharingan (Special Skill): The Sharingan grants the wielder two broad abilities: the "Eye of Insight" and the "Eye of Hypnotism". This ability will be inherited by your offsprings. Rank: A] (Cost 10)

[Eye of Insight (Sharingan Skill): The user can see Mana, giving it color in order to distinguish it by its composition and source. The user is granted incredible clarity of perception, enabling them to read lips or mimic something like pencil movements. In combat, this allows them to see fast-moving objects and, once fully developed, offers some amount of predictive capabilities: they can anticipate an opponent's next move based on the slightest muscle tension in their body and act accordingly to dodge or intercept. The user is able to copy almost any Skill they see, memorizing them with near-perfect accuracy. Sharingan users need the prerequisite abilities before they can mimic Skills they have seen. Abilities that are unique to a bloodline, or certain race can't be copied as long as the Sharingan wielder is not part of it.]

[Eye of Hypnotism (Sharingan Skill): The user can perform what is generically called Genjutsu: Sharingan. While there are various manifestations and purposes of the ability, the better-known one is to, through eye contact, suggest thoughts and actions to a target, coercing them to divulge information or act in a particular way, potentially without the target's awareness. In extreme cases, the Sharingan user can take complete control of the target's body, forcing them to do exactly as the controller wishes; this control is visually indicated by the Sharingan's design appearing in the target's eye.]

I chose which would be good for a swordsman since that is what I would be. The Gifted Sense would be a good addition to any build and I would like to have a higher Rank in it, but having the other two abilities had a higher priority. With the Holy Demonic Element, I would be able to Wield Holy or Demonic Swords up to Rank A which was rather good. I mean being able to wield all kinds of Swords would be perfect for a Swordsman, right? And finally, the ability I wanted to most, the Sharingan. It had so many sub-abilities that there was no way I wouldn't take it. With increasing my learning speed, being able to predict attacks of my opponents, and the hypnosis abilities this ability was just great.

"Now I just have to disturb my Points for Stats and my build is done," I said as I opened my Status Menu and did the deed.

[Name: Train Ritter]

[Title: The Gamer]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 1]

[EXP: 0/1.000]

[Health: 40]

[Mana: 50]

[STR: 3]

[CON: 4]

[DEX: 5]

[INT: 3]

[WIS: 5]

[Points to spend: 0]

"I guess this is the best I can do for now," I said as I looked at the rather low Stats.

[If you are done then let us proceed with your Inventory.]

"Uh, could you first tell me how to activate my Sacred Gear? I'm rather interested to see what it does," I stated.

[It will easily awaken if you get into danger, but if you desire to awaken it now I can give you a helping hand.]

"If there aren't any drawbacks for you awakening it for me, please go ahead," I said to the System.

I had to wait for a couple of seconds and then suddenly an enormous power filled my body. Never before in my life had I felt something that was even remotely similar. I thought with this I had the Power to pull out a tree… which isn't something impressive later on. Eventually, the power flowed out of my body, and the shadows before me started to form a living being.

The creature that formed out of the shadows looked like a pup with black fur. It had hair on his head that reminded me of a white, small Mohican reaching all the way to his back. On his forehead was a small mark that had the same red color as his eyes. After he fully materialized he looked around confused before his eyes focused on me.

"Hey buddy," I greeted the small dog as I kneeled down and outstretched my hand. The Dog who was my Sacred Gear came over to my hand, sniffed it, and then licked it. "I guess the two of us will be Partners from now on." As I said that the Dog barked and for some reason, I understood him like he was human.

"Agreed, you need a name... and I have one for you," I said as I patted the Dog. "You are my blade that can cut anything. Your name is Jin from now on!" Hearing his new name the Dog barked happily.

[Now that you two are introduced to each other let us continue with your Inventory.]

"Okay, I'll open it," I said as I stopped patting Jin reluctantly.

[Inventory]

[Max Capacity: 10kg]

[-Money: 0 yen]

[-Weapons]

[-Usable Items]

[-Accessories]

[-Materials]

[-Food]

[-Key Items]

"So, I own nothing," I said looking at the empty Inventory.

[That is correct, you currently have nothing. However, just like with your Status and Skills I will give you something you can start with. You will get a total of 250.000 yen which you can spend on items. I should also inform you that the money which you possess after acquiring your starting items will be the capital with which you start in your new World.]

"I have to balance what I get here with what I need for the start of my Life in this Parallel World," I said as I looked at Jin. "Well, at least I don't need to buy a weapon since Jin can provide me with them."

[That is incorrect.]

"What? Why?" I asked confused as I look at Jin.

[You have a long way to go before you mastered the powers of your Sacred Gear. With your current control, all Jin can do is summon a blade from the red spot on his forehead and fight for you, or he can turn into a blade you wield. The sharpness and strength of the sword aren't that great either with your current control.]

"Huh, that's… problematic," I stated as I looked at Jin. "I created my build exactly to fight alongside Jin."

[Why not let your Sacred Gear fight for you while you stay back and watch?]

"Because that is a stupid strategy," I replied wondering how dumb this System was. "This would make me the obvious weak point to my Sacred Gear, and all my opponents would just aim to knock me out to make Jin incapable of continuing fighting."

[That is a smart way of thinking.]

"Good, then why don't you show me the weapons first?" I asked as a List of weapons popped up.

This list had many normal weapons without any effect on them, but also a couple of Holy and Demon Swords. However, the swords with Special Effects would cost me all the money I was in possession of and that was not something I wanted to do. The System let me test some swords which I showed to Jin so he can copy them. In the end, I settle for a High-Quality Katana that I should be able to use until I unlocked Jin's ability to create swords for me. After I got my new weapon with a belt to hold it, I started to buy several other items that I thought would be helpful. After I was done I still had 29.000 yen which I wanted to save for when I enter the Parallel World.

[Wado Ichimonji (Sword): A masterpiece of a legendary swordsmith, which can only be described as a magnificent katana of the highest caliber. It is most notably extraordinarily durable, able to withstand strikes from even Swords that were reinforced with Magic. It belongs to a series of 13 Legendary Blades. Quality: B+] [Cost: 200.000 Yen]

[5x Small Health Potion (Usable Items): A Potion that regenerates 50 Health upon use.] [Cost: 2.500 Yen]

[2x Small Mana Potion (Usable Items): A Potion that regenerates 50 Mana upon use.] [Cost: 1.000 Yen]

[Ring of Vitality (Accessories): The person who wears this Ring gets a +2 to his Con. (Does not increase Health)] [Cost: 5.000 Yen ]

[Ring of Dexterity (Accessories): The person who wears this Ring gets a +2 to his DEX.] [Cost: 5.000 Yen]

[Crossed-Swords Necklace (Accessories): While Equipped; Sword Skills Mastery will increase 1.2 times faster.] [Cost: 7.500 Yen]

"Okay, this should do," I said as I looked at the items. "Maybe I should have gotten something for Jin as well. Sorry, about forgetting you." Jin barked not minding that I equipped myself first. He was a Longinus, a Tool to destroy God after all… I don't like calling him a Tool. He is my Partner and I should treat him as such.

"Wait a second I have an idea," I said as I opened the Item List once more and bought an Accessory that Jin could equip.

[Necklace of Strength (Accessories): The person who wears this Ring gets a +3 to his Strength.] [Cost: 7.500 Yen]

After I bought that Necklace I placed it around Jin's neck. The necklace had something on it that looked like a fist with a red gem inside. The Gem glowed in the same red as Jin's eyes.

"Now you've got something as well," I said to him and he happily waged with his tail. "Glad you like it."

[Now that the two of you are equipped, let us move on to the "Quests".]

"Sure, I can't wait to get some of them and see what I can do," I said and Jin jumped into the air just as excited as me.

[It's good that you are enthusiastic.]

[Quests]

[-Active Quests]

[-Special Quests]

[-Completed Quests]

"So, what kind of Quest are you going to give me?" I asked the System with a playful grin. For me, this all was still a dream... a rather entertaining dream.

[That is correct. I will give you your first Quest.]

Quest Alert!

[Quest: Earning your Place]

[Objective:

( ) Beat the "Tutorial Dungeon"]

[Rewards: 10.000 EXP, all Stats +1, and ?]

[Bonus Objective:

( ) Clear the Dungeon before the timer runs out. (30 days)]

[Bonus Rewards: 8.000 EXP, all Stats +1, and ?]

"Wow, that seems like a large amount of EXP… and I can increase my Stats through completing Quests? That makes them all the more important," I said as I thought about what that meant for the future. "Wait a second! I have 30 days to complete the Dungeon."

[You will need the time to clear that Dungeon, it is on the larger side of them. If you can clear the Dungeon without dying you will have earned the right to keep "The Gamer" powers and enter the World of DxD.]

"DxD?" I asked most curious about the naming. I mean there is no way I can die in a dream.

[That is the name of the reality you will be entering.]

"Okay... so, are you going to explain the Allies, Harem, and Glossary before you send me into the Dungeon?" I asked the System.

[No, I will send you into the Dungeon directly after this.]

"Then you are not going to explain the other Tabs?" I asked.

[I will when the time is right for me to explain them. For now, I will give you a couple of items that you will need when you enter the Dungeon.]

"Okay…" I replied not really caring.

[I took the liberty to put enough food for several days into your inventory. If it runs out you have to find more on your own.]

"Do I have to hunt animals or gather fruits and vegetables?" I asked the System.

[I do not care how you feed yourself, but you will need to in order to survive. Also, I added a couple of clothing to your inventory. I can't really run you around in Pajamas.]

"Much appreciated," I said as I looked down seeing my Pajama.

I decided to access my Inventory and get dressed in normal clothes. After it was done, I was wearing a black jacket that I kept unzipped leaving the steel gray shirt with a dog motive printed on it visible. In addition to that, I wore black cropped trousers and black buckled boots with grey soles along with a black, fingerless glove on my left hand. Oh, and of course the Wado Ichimonji was on a belt I was wearing.

"Okay, I guess I'm all set now," I said as I looked to Jin who was also ready to go.

[Good then I will send you off. Take care and don't die immediately.]

Before I could reply a blinding light appeared. The light was so intense that I had no other way than to shield my eyes with my arm.

Tutorial Dungeon, Train Ritter

When I was able to see again I expected many things… but not to wake up in the middle of a room with torches on the walls. I thought my dream was over and I would wake up continuing with everyday life as if nothing happened.

"This can't be real, right? Can someone pinch me?" I asked and the next second I could feel someone biting me slightly. When I looked down I saw Jin who stopped when our eyes met. "So, it wasn't a dream."

"I don't know how to feel about this," I said shaking my head. "Should I be happy to get a chance to experience something like this, or should I be pissed to be ripped out of my usual life?"

[Welcome to the "Tutorial Dungeon". Oh, by the way… told you so.]

"Fuck off," I said to the System in an annoyed manner.

[This is no way to speak to your benefactor.]

"I still haven't decided if I should see you as my benefactor or kidnapper," I said to the System.

[Well, it is unimportant to which conclusion you come because you can never return to your normal life.]

"Great," I said sarcastically.

[Let me give you one last piece of information. You are currently located on the first and smallest floor of the Dungeon. This Dungeon has a total of 10 floors with every second having a small Boss.]

"Okay… anything else?" I asked as I looked at my partner.

[That is all I wanted to tell you. I shouldn't spoil your fun.]

"Yes, you should if that means I have a higher chance of survival!" I complained.

[Have fun while exploring. I will contact you again if something comes up.]

"I hate this System," I said to Jin who just barked happily. "Okay, then let's start exploring."

I started by looking around the room until I saw a big door, probably leading further into the Dungeon. Jin and I approached it, I was ready to draw my new Katana at any moment. When I touched the door it opened immediately revealing an identical room. However, that room was not empty like the one I spawned in, inside it was a monster. Instead of rushing into the room to take on the monster like an idiot, I decided to wait and see if it does something…

Ding!

[New Skill Acquired]

[Observation (Special Skill): With this ability, you can gain basic information about beings like their Race. If you have a higher or the same level as the target of the Skill you will gain all information about them. If your opponent has a higher level you won't be able to all his entire Status. The bigger the gap between you the lesser information you get.]

"Useful," I said as I immediately activated the Skill to take a look at the monster.

[Name: Skeleton]

[Race: Skeleton]

[Level: 1]

[Health: 10]

[Mana: 20]

[STR: 2]

[CON: 1]

[DEX: 2]

[INT: 2]

[WIS: 2]

[Equipment: Bronze Sword]

"Okay, Stat wise I should be able to deal with that," I said as I looked at it. "Jin, let me fight that monster on my own. Only join in when I get into trouble."

As I said that Jin looked at me with a confused expression.

"I think that guy will be perfect for me to test out what I can do," I stated and Jin barked. "I'll let you fight the next one, okay?" This time Jin nodded and I drew my Katana out of its sheath. "Wish me luck."

I slowly walked into the room as the Skeleton stared at me with its Crimson Eyes. I was able to close the distance between us until only a few meters remained. This triggered the Skeleton which immediately attacked me. I was surprised for a second, but I was easily able to block the attack with my Katana. If weren't for my grandfather's Kendo training I might have been not be able to react to that attack in time… well, the training he put me through had to be good for something.

When the Skeleton attacked again I easily dodged due to my higher speed. Now in a good position, I used my chance and cut it in half with my sword that was apparently way too good for the Tutorial Dungeon… I say it was well worth spending 30.000 Yen on it.

[Earned 50EXP]

"Okay, it will take a while to Level up," I said as I looked at the EXP I gained.

[Hidden Objective (Defeat your first opponent) has been completed.] [Reward: 500EXP]

"Huh, maybe it won't take that long," I said halfway to Level 2. Jin ran over to me and jumped onto my shoulder.

"Hey, buddy… how do you think I did?" I asked and Jin barked making it sound as if I could have done better. "Thanks for the compliment," I replied.

I looked around to see if the Skeleton had dropped anything of value, but the only thing it left was a Bronze Sword. That thing was useless to me because it was way weaker than my Wado Ichimonji and wouldn't have fit into my inventory anyway. The only thing I could do was dropping my Wado Ichimoji for it and there was no way I would do that. So, I left it there and moved on to the next room.

Inside that room was also a single monster which kind of looked like a Goblin of an RPG. I promised Jin that he would fight the second opponent… and what happened couldn't even be considered a fight. A Katana-Blade appeared from Jin's redpoint on his forehead and then he rushed the Goblin. Before I could even blink he had cut the Goblin into a thousand pieces before returning to my side with a satisfied expression.

[Earned 50EXP]

"Wow… I have a long way to go before I can get to your Level," I said to Jin as I petted him. "Okay, from now on let's work together… and let me get some practice before you finish them off." Jin nodded and with that, we headed into the next room.

In total, we had to go through six more rooms with a single monster that was always just a tiny bit more dangerous than the last. We really had no problems beating them, but there were a couple of things that worried me. For one it was incredibly hard for me to coordinate with him. He was just so much faster and it skilled than me… I was just getting in his way. The second problem was that I can't activate my Special Skill called Sharingan at will which is kind of annoying because it was literally the best Skill I had besides my Sacred Gear.

Anyway, the two of us just finished off the opponent in the ninth room… and with the two of us, I mean Jin. This opponent still was no challenge for Jin, but I started to have some troubles.

[Earned 100EXP]

[Level Up! 1 2]

Well, I might be able to have an easier time with my next opponent after I spend my points of the Level Up. Speaking about spending my points, let me get right through that.

[Name: Train Ritter]

[Title: The Gamer]

[Race: Human]

[Level: 2]

[EXP: 25/2.000]

[Health: 50]

[Mana: 50]

[STR: 4]

[CON: 5]

[DEX: 7]

[INT: 4]

[WIS: 5]

[Points to spend: 0]

Some more Dexterity should make sure that I can at least dodge my opponents for now while Jin takes them on. Maybe a range fighting weapon would have been better… no if I get the ability to cut anything apart then me not being able to efficiently wield the swords would be a waste. I guess that means I just have to get by somehow until I master all of Jin's abilities.

"I'm done," I said to Jin after I spend my points. "It's time to face our next opponent!" As I said that Jin barked excitedly. I wonder how long it will take to get out of here as I entered the next room where a staircase was waiting for me.

That's it for the first chapter of my story, I hope you enjoyed it. If you have any remarks towards it you can contact me via Review or PM, and I promise I will reply to them. Chapter 2 will be out tomorrow or the day afterward.

Until next time!
