Welcome, weary traveler, to the Infinite Library of Swords!
A handful of you might remember the Beast's Lair thread of a similar name from however many years back. Seeing as it was officially put to rest in January of 2020, I took I look back and decided that I would take it upon myself to archive the plethora of omakes, snippets, and short stories that were left forgotten in both the original Infinite Library thread and the respective Mahou Senki: Lyrical Days and Fate/Night Sky threads from which they were based on. Many dozens of people have fond memories of these threads, and it is my goal to capture those fond memories in exactly the way people remember them. Other than correction of a few typos here and there some very minor reformatting to be more readable here, they'll be kept in as close to the original Beast's Lair post as possible.
I would like give a humble thanks to Heroslayer, Santo, Daneel Rush, fraggle, and other extremely talented and passionate writers who contributed to the thread over the course of roughly 8-9 years, you're all very wonderful. If any of the original authors would like their stories removed and taken down, just contact me here and I'll do my best to respond and accommodate their request. If there are any snippets that I missed over and you'd like to be added, please leave a review and I'll try my best to find and put it in. I'll begin with posting the more popular snippets and omake series, and I'll update this main page to reflect what's been archived here for those who simply want to find their one favorite snippet or their favorite author. Over the course of a few months, the grand majority of all the snippets from all three threads will be compiled here for the reading pleasure of both the original Beast's Lair crowd and those just discovering these for the first time, please enjoy!
None of following stories/omakes/snippets are my own, and are written by fans of both the original series and spinoff fanfictions like myself.
Mahou Senki Lyrical Days was originally written by Heroslayer, and Fate/Night Sky was originally written by fraggle. Please go and read their works!
