Ship?-Implied Venlumi
This is just going to be some silly little drabbles bc I have Genshin Impact brain rot. Most of it will be Traveler x Venti stuff. Mostly writing it with Lumine, but I'll swap Aether in once and awhile for funsies. :)
I'm fine with doing requests! But remember they'll be on the shorter side. I might also decline if I don't know a character enough, think the request is too complicated, or I just ain't about that ship.
Oh, and no NSFW content, sorry.
Hope you enjoy the jazz!
The Traveler's stare wandered down to the plate presented in front of her. It was…food? Or at least, it had been food at one point. She wasn't quite sure what it was supposed to be, or had been. But judging by the fact Venti was holding it as an offering and had a fork grasped in one fist, it was something he'd made.
And he wanted her to try it.
"Oh."
"Yeah, well, it didn't come out like I planned, but it should be fine. I haven't tried it yet because I wanted you to have some first!" He had a nice soft smile on his face, in contrast to Lumine's poker face. Which she was determined to hold onto in this situation. She wasn't one to let her opinions be very transparent, unlike Paimon who had as much of a filler as she had brain juice.
Which is to say, not much.
"Is that so? Seems like to Paimon that the Tone-deaf Bard just wants Lumine to try because he's scared!"
"Scared? Of what?"
"That!" Her little nose scrunches up as she points to the offending dish.
"Hey! I'll have you know-"
"I'll take a bite." Venti stopped mid-sentence to beamed at the Traveler. Who had to resist the urge to cover her eyes. Slowly, she took the fork from his grip and poked the thing on the plate.
Good, it didn't poke back.
"Paimon doesn't think you should do it!"
"It's fine, Paimon." She stabs and tears a piece away. "It can't be that bad." Upon eating the morsel gave her the immediate effect of wanting to eat her words.
Oh. Oh Dear Lord.
She chewed her bite while fighting one of her hardest battles yet. Not cringing while eating.
Venti is the Archon of Ameno, that much is true. He is not however, the God of Culinary.
Her two companions stared as she struggled to swallow. She desperately wanted water or juice or anything really. Just to help it go down. She grimaces ever so slightly when she tries not to gag when it finally does go down.
She coughs into a closed fist.
"So Traveler, what did you think?"
"I think…" She places a hand on his shoulder. "I was not aware you had created a new type of food."
"Huh?"
"Wait, does it somehow taste good? Paimon is confused…"
In lieu of an answer, Lumine pries the plate from his hands and walks off with it. The two follow after her. "Wait, where are you going?!" Venti is quick to fall into step with her, while the little elf just floats behind like a duckling.
At the nearest waste bin, she dumps the contents of the plate into it. She turns and hands the plate and silverware back to him.
"Ah." he vocalizes.
'Ah' indeed.
"Should I even ask what this 'new type of food' is?"
Lumine nods, so the god humors her by asking. "The type of food you created, was the inedible kind." she responds. Decidingly, she pats him on the back for effort.
He laughs. "I'm sorry, Friend. I promise I wasn't trying to poison you."
"Yes you were!" the elf chimes in. Much like a certain blue fairy, she goes ignored.
The blonde grabs the bard by the shoulders, pulling him in to look him right in the eyes. Much to her enjoyment he squeaks in surprise. "I forgive you, but leave the cooking to me." She releases her hold on him and blows a kiss as a joke.
Before he can respond she turns around and wanders off to find a drink to wash that taste out of her mouth.
