LEGEND BELOW

"And you are..? Never mind, don't care."= Normal speech.

''What could have happened?'' = Normal thoughts/Zelda

There was darkness. An all encompassing blackness that took hold of them, holding them, comforting them. They did not know anything outside of the darkness, nor did they know anything inside of the darkness. Who they were, what they used to be, or who they might eventually become didn't matter here. For as long as they could remember, they felt nothing, nothing but the chilling embrace of the endless nothingness.

Once, though, there was a horrible, horrible pain, before the darkness took it away. They remembered that, they remember that so very clearly. The pain was so great, that they wanted to die, just so it would end. Something moved them, what was left of them, somewhere. They don't remember clearly, who, or what. But someone did something, and then, the pain was gone and the darkness became everything.

Nothing happened after the darkness took them away. Their memories of the past seemed to fade away in the dark depths of absolute nothingness, and before long, the only thing they remembered clearly before the darkness was the awful pain. Small insignificant flashes of memories long past would appear for but a moment, before vanishing again, taken from their mind.

A battle here, a skirmish there, a surprise attack from nowhere. They remembered that. There was a lot of fighting in their past, as most of their fragmented memories seemed to involve some sort of battle. They don't remember why they were always fighting, or who they seemed to be protecting either. Trying to remember hurt, so they stopped trying. Remembering seemed impossible, just like doing anything else. The darkness demanded that they simply do nothing.

Then they felt it. Felt. They felt it! Something, something physical, something that was touching them. It had been so long, it felt like forever since they actually felt the sensations of physical contact with anything. It was cold, the feeling of a slimy viscus liquid covering their body from the head down. It was touching them all over, the entirety of the outside of their body. They wanted to squirm and pull away, to get it off of them, but they couldn't move.

The air around them was nippy, bitting at their exposed body, uncomfortable in certain areas more then others. It was cool, but not quite cold. But just feeling once more after the endless darkness made this uncomfortable sensation worth it.

They were vaguely aware of a sound humming somewhere around them, the noise almost undetectable. It continued to rise in volume and clarity until they could make out the sound of a voice, a voice that was calling out to them. It sounded familiar, even though they couldn't place a face to the sound. It was.. it was saying something, something to them...

"..nk... l.. ink.. Ink... Ink...Link!" It was repeating that over and over to them, as if it was calling them. Was.. was that their name? That sounded strangely familiar, so perhaps it was. Link, that felt correct. Yes, they were Link.

"Wake u.. p.. l... Wak.. up... Ink..." The voice was beckoning to them, asking them to awaken. But, they still couldn't move, or see...

Suddenly, the strange slime covering their body began to dry up and drain away, leaving their body laying in a now empty water bed. A brilliant bright golden light began to shine above them, drawing attention to it. They could feel their eyes slowly open, as control gradually returned to them. For the first time in a very, very long time, they opened their eyes. The first thing that greeted their sight was blue. A wall, or a ceiling perhaps. They blinked slowly, the full clarity of consciousness returning.

Link took in a deep breath, filling their lungs with the much needed air. Slowly they pushed themselves up into a sitting position, and that's when something made itself very apparent. Long bright flowing golden blonde locks of hair cascaded down over their head and down their chest, resting in the gap between their legs. That wasn't the problem, however. It was the two large mounds of flesh that they hit on the way down. They stared down inquisitively, extremely perplexed to say the least. They don't remember having breasts...

Suddenly intrigued, they looked down farther, past their chest. It was a little hard to see past them, but they managed to stretch over to get a closer look at their legs and lower half. Where their two thick muscly toned legs met was nothing, an empty space between the legs that for some reason felt strange. They just sat there, gazing at their own strangely foreign body. It all felt familiar, yet at the same time, not. Slowly, they turned to the side, carefully climbing out of the strange bed like thing they had been laying in.

Two feet met the cold floor below, sending an aggressive shiver up their spine. Now standing on two feet, they could safely say that it did it feel the same as it should, but they couldn't even recall what that would even be. There was a little bit more weight and mass around their chest, rear and especially thighs then they felt like there should be, but they couldn't put their finger on why. There was a puddle of water on the ground next to them, reflecting their image back perfectly.

A pair of soft cute looking feet extended up into two smooth yet strong legs, with toned calves. Above that were a pair of large powerful muscly thighs that looked as if they could snap a neck without hardly trying, connecting to a thin waistline with very prominent hips. A taught and tight looking stomach was accentuated by a six pack and deep v that did not look out of place on that body. Continuing to climb up past the abs was a pair of breasts, not too large. Past the cleavage was a soft looking neck and toned shoulders that extended into well muscled arms that were more toned then bulky.

The face was a mix between sharp yet soft, with brilliantly bright blue eyes that seemed as deep as the ocean waters itself. A perfectly sized nose framed their face. Like mentioned previously, they had a huge head of hair, a bright gold in color. Hair that cascaded down their taught back muscles and ended up resting on their posterior. It was a little messy looking, with long bangs that framed their face and partially covered their eyes. Their lips were soft and not overly puffy, and a dash of blush dusted their cheeks. She pursed her lips, finding to her surprise that her canines were longer and sharper then she felt as they were supposed to be.

Time seemed to stop as Link inspected themselv- err.. herself thoroughly. She felt herself up, touching and prodding places and things she was previously unaware that she had. She did a quick squat to test out her large powerful legs, feeling the large muscles flexing underneath her. She couldn't shake the feeling that something just wasn't adding up here, but she just didn't know what it was. Maybe it was the hair, she didn't remember having hair that long before. Perhaps it was her currently fog raddled mind, but she almost felt as if she looked very similar to someone she had seen before. Maybe she had a sister? That might explain it...

The bright light from before suddenly took hold of her attention again. That's when she realized that she was in some sort of chamber, a large room devoid of much besides the strange bed she had been sleeping on and a pedestal next to a large closed door. There was also a thick blue mist permeating through the room. And it was cold. The feeling of the chilly air on her naked body was uncomfortable, to say the least.

Shaking slightly where she stood, she wrapped her arms under her bust in an attempt to stay warm, before moving to inspect the only other object in the room. It was a pedestal of sorts, which resting in the middle of was a strange looking device. As she approached, it suddenly lit up, glowing an otherworldly blue. Before she could ponder on what to do with it, the voice from before spoke up and instructed her to take it. Seeing no reason as to not, she took it. It felt odd in her hands, but strangely familiar.

"Tha... t.. wil..l he.. lp guide y.. ou after your lon.. g slumber..." Following the voice's statement, the device began to scan her, a light blue light covering her body. Intrigued, the blonde let the object do its thing. A few moments later it suddenly stopped.

"User vitality registered. User's statistics displayed on screen." The device suddenly spoke, the voice strangely unnatural in tone. The device's screen suddenly lit up with a wide variety of stats, apparently all for her. "Height: 5:7 feet. Weight: 170 pounds. Hair color: Golden Blonde. Vitality: Extremely high. Strength: Legs." After reading through the short list, the device suddenly piped up again. "Warning, user is cold. Recommend use of clothing." With that statement in mind, she was suddenly reminded of just how cold it actually was. It didn't help the fact that she was not in possession of any clothing whatsoever. Even a pair of underwear would definitely be appreciated right about then.

The only thing she found was a short harness that barely fit her body, the thing designed to hold the device she was holding. Deciding that there wasn't a reason not to, she equipped the harness, letting the device rest on the side of her butt.

She was interrupted once more when the door to the room opened. A quick glance out revealed that there was a hallway leading to another door, this one larger then the first. There was an old treasure chest off to the side. Thinking nothing of it, he threw the chest open, finding, much to her joy, a pair of clothes. She quickly ran into a problem however, when she realized that they were made for a man.

The shirt was way too tight, showing an outline of her chest, and it was too short, and it ended up hanging off of her chest and exposing her taught stomach and abs. The sleeves were rather short as well. The pants, if you could call them that, were also too short, ending at her calves rather then her ankles. She could barely manage to slip into them as well, seeing as they seemed to get stuck on her rear end. There was thankfully, an old worn down pair of shoes in the chest as well, and they seemed to be a perfect fit. She was still cold, but at least the single layer of clothes would suffice for the time being. She just wished the pants didn't ride up on her like they were.

Not a moment later it seemed, that second door mentioned earlier suddenly opened. She girl had to shield her eyes from the bright light that suddenly burst through. Though, the feeling of the real sunlight was very welcoming.

"Link.." She nearly tripped at the sound of the voice suddenly speaking up once again. "I..I'm sorr... y.. but I c.. annot keep th.. is up much long.. er.." There was a concerning amount of struggling in the voice's tone. "Go.. become t.. he light of.. Hyrule..." The voice began to grow faint. "Please.. I cannot h... old out... forever..." Then it was silent. Link couldn't help but feel a strange sense of worry well up inside her. This voice, it was the one that pulled her from the darkness, yes? But.. It sounded like it was in trouble. This voice sounded too familiar, maybe she really did have a sister?

A frown marred her face. For some reason an overwhelming urge to protect the voice overcame her senses. If they were indeed in danger, then she owed it to the voice to save them. But that meant that she'd have to track them down, and currently, she had absolutely no idea where she was. She didn't even know who she was, or, or, or what she was supposed to-...

She stopped, everything, for a moment. Closing her eyes she took in a large breath of fresh air, and calmed down. Thinking about saving the mysterious voice was stressing her out heavily, so she needed a moment to calm herself. A minute later she opened her eyes once more, setting her sights on the source of the bright light down the hall. With her mind made up, she moved. She would save the voice, her sister, that made sense. She was the only one that she could remember with any sort of clarity at the moment. The image of a golden blonde haired young woman flashed through her mind, her brain drawing the connections.

She had to admit, walking felt strange as it was. With every step she took her hips would jut out to the side slightly, left and right, and it almost tripped her a few times. She quickly got the hang of it, however, that didn't mean her own body didn't still occasionally catch her by surprise. She also learned very quickly that her chest was going to make it a bit difficult to climb steep walls, that much was made apparent by the first obstacle in her way. A fifteen foot tall wall of rock barred her escape from the dank tunnels she found herself in. She remembered that she had been good at climbing, but now, having herself flush against the wall was more difficult, for obvious reasons. How had she done this before without a problem?

When she finally made it out, she found herself awed at the imposing and awe inspiring sight. She was stood over a steep cliff side overlooking a massive expanse. There was land in all directions. Far off in the distance straight ahead was a volcano, its lava spewing out constantly. To the right of the volcano was a mountainous region suffering from a torrential downpour, and beyond that was an ocean. Even further to the right was a massive jungle, stretching all the way to the oceanfront as well. To the left of the volcano was a strange looking forest and further that direction was a large castle, one she'd felt like she'd seen before. And further to the left was a tundra region.

That was barely naming that largest locations she could spot right off the bat. It was going to take forever to find her sister voice in a world like this! She needed a sign, something to give away their location. Even if it was for but a moment. She threw her gaze all across the land, but no such sign greeted her. Her expression fell slightly, before she settled her emotions.

The cliff in front of her was too steep to climb down safely, and the only way around it was a stone brick path off to the right. Not a short distance away she caught sight of a large and imposing building, perhaps a chapel of some sort? She'd made up her mind, she'd look there first.

She followed the path for a short minute, before coming across a small man made campsite resting under a small cliff. There was still a fire running in it, and placed nearby was a large iron axe. She took a quick glance around, but found no one but herself. With a shrug of her shoulders she moved to take the axe, the weapon large, but she lifted it with terrifying ease. Resting the large tree felling tool over her shoulder, she made a move for the building.

There was a small valley surrounding the temple, in it a couple groups of strange looking red creatures. She vaguely remembered them as the monsters known as Bokoblins. There was quite a few Bokoblin camps spread around the expanse as well. She decided to try and avoid those if at all possible.

A few minutes later she found herself staring at the entrance of the large temple. There was a wind blowing throughout the area, which ended up blinding her with her own hair which was not held down. She went to brush it out of her face, only to suddenly find herself on the ground back first, thanks to a surprise attack from a Bokoblin that decided that 'that' was the perfect opportunity to take her down. She was suddenly aware of the monster jumping her, pinning her down with its ugly body, grimy hands placed around her throat in an attempt to strangle her to death.

Despite the severity of the situation, she found a deep clarity in her predicament. Besides the fact that it was trying to kill her, she was instantly of the mind that she was insanely uncomfortable with what was happening. The beast raised its arm in attempt to slap her back down, only for her to grab its hand with her own, stopping it dead. Before the creature could formulate a plan to stop her, it suddenly found its head nestled behind her thighs, and then it knew no more.

Link let out a sigh as she stood up, taking a glance at the downed beast. Snapping its neck was terrifyingly easy with only the use of her legs. Forget the huge axe laying uselessly a foot away, she was apparently a weapon herself. She found a deep joy growing within herself at the results of the situation, and a gleam in her eyes as she eyed the other camps of monsters a short distance away.

With a harrumph of annoyance, she took a piece of thread from the dead monster, using the string the make a makeshift hair tie, pulling her hair up into a messy long golden ponytail. At least now she wouldn't have a repeat incident...

Picking the large axe back up, she strolled into the ruined temple, one-handing the weapon. She wasn't about to get blindsided again, and kept her eyes open. Besides the fact that the building looked bad from the outside, she immediately felt as if something was off. She didn't know why, but...

Was everything supposed to be destroyed..? The building still stood, but that's just about all that it did. She vaguely remembered this place, blurry visions of the past flashing in her mind. It wasn't supposed to look like this...

She frowned when looking it over, as a sadness filled her heart. It looked as if the place had been ignored for a hundred years or more. There was obviously a battle that had happened here, if the strange looking mechanical spider like machinations outside were anything to go by. Honestly, the only thing relatively untouched was the large angel statue standing atop a pedestal on the far end of the temple. She had a strange feeling come over her as she stared up at the statue. It felt almost as if it was smiling down at her.

She went to leave, only to have something catch her eye. There was a small satchel hanging off of the neck of a smaller statue placed next to the large one. Thinking for a moment, she took the satchel and strapped it to her belt. Adjusting it to rest against her rear-end, she moved to explore the rest of the temple.

After roughly ten minutes she concluded that there was nothing else around here, and her sister was most certainly not around here. It had only been around an hour since she awoke from the strange chamber, but she still felt as concerned for her sister's safety as now as she did then.

She had managed to make it to the top of the temple via a latter placed off to the side. From here she had a much better view of the entirety of the land she found herself in. That's also when she learned that the area of land she'd been exploring was apparently raised up above the rest of the world. A Great Plateau, if you will, separated from the rest of the land via steep cliffs. She highly doubted that she currently possessed the ability to make it down safely.

While pondering her current situation, something off in the far distance caught her immediate attention. She scrambled to the shattered window of the top tower's room to get a better look. There, on top of the large castle she noted a short while ago, was a bright shining golden light. The same one she saw when the voice of her sister woke her up. Not a moment after she witnessed it the light faded, but it didn't matter after that. She had asked for a sign, and her sister provided one. Now she knew what she needed to do.

"Don't worry... I'm coming sister..." Link promised quietly to herself, the first time she'd spoken since awakening. With her resolve made, she quickly ran to make her way down the tower, bouncing as she went. She barely made it to the edge of the building where she climbed up, before she was stopped by a strange figure. It was a large white bearded man dressed in ragged dark clothes. She was surprised to find him standing there, almost as if he were waiting for her. She slowed her run to a walk, stopping only a foot away from him. He was easily taller then her, as seen when he look down to her.

She stared up at him silently, her hands resting on her hips. The large axe from before was hooked on a harness on her back, draped across her shoulders. The golden haired girl stared up at him inquisitively. This was her first interaction between another living being since being awoken... Well, if you didn't take killing the red Bokoblin from earlier as an interaction anyway...

"Strange..." The old man suddenly spoke up, he voice a deep one with a full of... humor? She wasn't too sure. She didn't know and or remember how to read people and their moods very well. "I've never seen you on the Plateau before... Where did you come from?" He questioned. She tilted her head to the side, staring at him unabashedly.

"...From the chamber." Link stated in a sharp feminine voice, as if that alone explained everything. She flicked her head towards the mountain that she emerged from, pointing out the recently opened chamber. The old man's expression seemed to fall at that, whatever he had prepared to say seemingly died on his tongue. He stared up at the hill, before turning his attention back to the woman, only to nearly jump in shock when he found her only a few inches from his face.

"So... Who are you?" She asked with a tilt of her head. His response was to draw a blank, his mind still reeling at the revelation.

"I-.. that's not important..." He quipped suddenly.

"Right." She stated, completely agreeing with him. "So how do I get to that castle?" Link asked, pointing towards the large dark castle in the distance, the massive structure surrounded with a cloud of death and despair.

"-I... -wait, what?" She apparently had the man tongue tied, and she wasn't even vaguely aware of why. "What is your business with Hyrule Castle?"

"They have my sister locked up there. Golden hair, kinda like mine. Green eyes, real soft looking. Looks like me..." She just started naming off facts, before gesturing to her own body. "I'm drawing a blank on her name, my mind's kinda fuzzy right now..." She seemed to stare off into space, a blank look on her face. A minute passed in silence, her mind wandering and his narrowing down to a focus.

"You, girl... What is your name?" He was suddenly very serious, the jovial attitude from previously nowhere to be found. His sudden tone shift brought her back from whatever dazed state she was in. She turned to face him, her blazing blue eyes narrowed in concentration. It reaffirmed it in his mind. He knew it now. What was really happening.

"Link..?" She said that in such a way that it made it sound like a question.

"Come with me..." He said before walking away.

"Why-?" She prodded. Without breaking stride, he spoke up again.

"If you wish to save your.. sister, then meet with me at my house. I will assist you in your trials..." Before she had the chance to ask him why, or even where this house of his was placed, he took to the air on a paraglider he pulled from a small satchel. She ran to the edge of the roof, watching him as he flew to the only house left standing on the plateau. It was a distance away, and between her and him was multiple camps of Bokoblin. She frowned, there was no clear or safe way to him besides right through the enemy. He must have been aware of this, and purposefully left her.

Her fists tightened slightly at her side. If this was a test, then she was going to pass it, standing triumphantly over the dead corpses of the fat red monsters.

Her attention was drawn to the sun hanging low in the sky. She didn't have much time left before nightfall. If she was going to make it to his house before dark, she had no time left to waste. Quickly she made her way back down the ladder, running to the edge of the land surrounding the large temple. There was a small valley between her and the old man, and littering said valley was three separate camps of Bokoblin.

These disgusting beasts were not going to stop her, mark her words. Tightening her weapon harness, she quietly made her way over to the group of sleeping monsters. Sneaking through the grass proved to be a great idea, and the first Bokoblin never knew what hit it. The first one went down via a large axe to the head. The second one barely had the chance to hop to its feet in defense before it too was taken out by her powerful axe swing.

By this point the other three that made up the camp were wide awake and scrambling for weapons to use against her. The monster closest to her decided to forgo a weapon in favor of attempting to tackle her to the ground. It too was taken down by her axe.

Link raised the weapon back up to her shoulder with a sigh, ready to swing it again. The other two seemed to realize the threat she posed, and didn't instantly rush to their deaths. She had confidence however, that this fight was going to go in her favor. That confidence was stricken when she killed the last red Bokoblin that got too close, but in doing so ended up ruining her only weapon. The axe fell to the ground destroyed. Suddenly, the tables were turned against her. That, and the only Bokoblin left standing was a stronger looking blue one, and it was armed with a shield and a spiked wooden bat.

The woman took a step back as the monster charged her. It took an aggressive swing at her, one that she ducked under relatively easily. But it was too close to her, and she wasn't prepared for the kick that came out of nowhere. It hit hard, knocking the wind out of her, and sending her to the ground painfully. She barely had the chance to roll out of the way as the monster came flying down on her body. The club nicked her stomach painfully. She quickly scrambled to her feet as another swing came her way.

However, the monster overshot his attack, and found himself tripping over his own two feet. That's when she struck. The first time she did this it was against an unarmed and weaker opponent. This time, she had to lure him into position. Before the blue beast could gain his bearings, he, like his brethren prior, suddenly found his head trapped between her large powerful thighs. He had a moment to look up, their eyes meeting, her face frowning down at him with distain. Then there was a sudden sharp twist, and it was over.

She stood back up from her latest victory, nursing her side. She saw through to the end of her own promise, but not without suffering along the way. She was bleeding from her side. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely bruising already, and might hinder her in another battle.

Taking a moment to survey her own surroundings, she spotted the forgotten weapons and gear laying uselessly on the ground. There was a shield made of low quality Boko wood, and an honest to goodness real sword, stuck blade down in the ground. She pulled the weapon and shield, strapping both to her back.

The sun had set now, and the rest of her journey was going to be completed in the darkness, with no other source of light and or warmth. She wrapped her arms around herself, the chill of the night's air already reaching her. The only light she could see now was coming from the old man's house in the forest up ahead...

When she came stumbling up to the man's house, way passed sun down, covered in the blood of dead Bokoblin's, it was safe to say that she was upset. The miffed look seemingly set in stone on her face, only accentuated by the blood of her enemies. She slowly strut forward, taking a seat on a downed log beside a fire the old man had set. Said old man was sitting quietly beside her, a seemingly amused look on his face as he cooked a fish over the open flame.

"I see you made it." We're the first words out of his mouth. He couldn't be sure in the darkness, but the violent twitch she had at his greeting was more then enough to perfectly describe her current attitude. "Here, have this. You look like you haven't eaten all day..." He said, passing her the cooked fish. She took one look at it before swiping it from his hands, a growl escaping from her stomach. She hadn't eaten since, well.. well she couldn't remember actually. Absentmindedly she noted that she felt much better physically after eating, and much of the pain had numbed.

Silence passed after that, the old man seemingly content to sit there. Link was waiting for him to explain himself, but an hour passed by the fire in silence, and began to get the feeling that he wasn't going to. She went to stand, only for him to finally speak.

"That was a test.." He said, answering her yet unasked question. "If you weren't capable of surviving those monsters by yourself without any extra equipment, then you stood no chance at saving her." Who this woman he spoke of was did not need to be explained, because there was only one woman on Link's mind. She felt indignation rise at his words, but one look at his face stopped her from saying anything. He wasn't judging her or calling her her weak, no, not at all. It was just the simple matter of the fact that, as she was right now, her death couldn't be anything less then certain if she were to run straight to the castle right away.

With that reality setting in, her shoulders slumped and she sunk into the log. The fire in her heart dimming at the hard truth. He seemed to understand where her mind was headed, and stood up.

"Listen. I mean what I said. You currently stand no chance against the abomination of evil that resides in the castle. So we're going to change that..." Following his words he moved inside of the small hut that made up his house. After a moment, she followed him in there. She wasn't expecting to find a small supply of extra gear lining his walls. "This is all for you..." There was an entire kit ready for her. Everything from a pair of three soldier grade short swords, to a reinforced bow made of high quality metal, and finally, a form fitting light and dark blue garb.

"This is a specially made Shika garb, designed to maximize stealth. It will most certainly aid you on your journey. While it doesn't offer much in protection, it will definitely serve you better then your current choice of wear." Without waiting any longer, Link went to put the suit on. He wasn't joking when he mentioned it being form fitting. It was definitely not her exact size, as made apparent that it ended up being nearly skin tight, not leaving much up to the imagination. Across her chest was a red eye symbol, bending around her chest. After putting that on, she took a pair of arm wrappings and wrapped each one around her arms, pulling it tight. A pair of dark purple belts sat loosely around her hips, holding up her strange device and her little magic satchel she found earlier. Then came the actual armor plating over the suit. Entire leg guards covered her shins, and thin shock absorbing armor was framed around her chest, but her bust pushed it to the sides respectively. There was also two small shoulder pauldron's, protecting her shoulders and her biceps.

Topping off the suit was a mask that fit comfortably around her face, covering from her nose down, leaving only the upper half of her face exposed, and a long white scarf tied around her neck. She flexed her arms, the tightness of the fabric perfectly displaying her powerful muscles. It also helped that it was extremely comfortable. The garb was also tight enough that her chest was actually held in place and stopped moving around when she ran, something she was very appreciative of.

She tied the three swords to the new high quality harness across her back, tugging the straps to make them fit just a bit better. She grinned down at her outfit, immensely grateful. Sure it was a little tight, but sometimes, sacrifices had to be made. Her bountiful messy golden hair was still a problem, but she just couldn't bring herself to get rid of it. So she ended up settling for a messy ponytail that only just barely kept it out of her eyes.

She turned back to the old man, almost making no sound doing so. Placing her hands on her hips, a pose she found herself doing often, she smiled at him.

"I still do not recommend you go to the castle." While she frowned at his statement, he continued speaking. "For, if you wish to vanquish the evil that lay there, you require the legendary sword of evil's bane. A weapon created to destroy evil itself. The Master Sword..."

Her mind seemed to click at the words he spoke, and a glazed look overcame her. This weapon he spoke of, this Master sword. It sounded powerful, strong. She wanted it, no, she needed it. It would serve much better purpose here in her hands then it would wherever it currently lay.

"How..?" He looked up in surprise at her muffled voice, her blazing blue eyes staring intently into his own. "I need it, I... must have it." She glanced down at her own hands. After hearing of such a powerful weapon, it felt wrong that it wasn't in her hands. But, this old man, he had all these weapons and this special garb waiting for her. Surely he had it at the very least known where the legendary blade lay. Right?

"I'm sorry but.. I do not know of it's whereabouts. That task is up to you to complete, not me..." She cursed silently to herself. Of course it wouldn't be that easy. "All I can offer you now is a place of shelter and information." With his piece said, he moved back outside to the fire, taking a seat on the log.

Link, although against sitting around and doing nothing, felt like she wasn't going to get much done this late at night. Deciding that she could better continue her journey after a good nights rest, she took to the small bed in the corner, and was out cold in minutes.

She awoke the next morning to the smell of food, and a quick glance outside revealed that it was the old man cooking up some game he had apparently caught in the middle of the night. She got out of bed with an over the head arm stretch, which felt wonderful. She quickly took her seat next to the man, basking in the warm morning sun. After a quick breakfast, curtesy of him, she decided to be on her way. "I'm leaving..."

"Wait.. You are leaving already?" He quipped. Seeing her nod, he relented. "I see. If you are so adamant about acquiring the Master Sword, then I recommend you search out Lady Impa. She resides in the town of Kakariko, a settlement out past the dueling peaks mountain. If anyone knows of its whereabouts, it would be that woman." He seemed a little disgruntled about speaking of her. She got the feeling that there was a history between them.

Turning away from him and towards the rising morning sun, she caught a glimpse of the mountain he spoke of. The land was split completely right down the middle, making two twin peaks. There was a small path and river that ran through the crevice as well. It was also quite a distance away, and she was going to have to make it there on foot.

"One more thing." She was stopped just before she took off, the man reaching out to hand her something. "Take this. You will have much more need of it then I." It was a hand made paraglider. Her eyes lit up at the sight. "It's rather large, so I would recommend that you store it in your magic bag." Giving him a bewildered look, he merely motioned to the small satchel hanging from her rear. Slowly she took the large item and moved it to the small bag. She almost didn't believe her eyes when the item suddenly shrunk down to the size of a pebble. She dropped the shrunken tool into the bag, her mind reeling. "Were you not aware that it was capable of that..?" She chose not to answer that and awkwardly walked away...

After a short walk across the fields, she found herself standing on the edge of the Great Plateau, overlooking the foggy plains below. She took a deep breath, taking in the sight from where she stood.

In such short notice after awaking from the chamber, she found herself on a journey apparently larger then life. She had a mission set out for her, one that she wasn't allowed to fail. First, she needed to save her pretty sister from the castle. But to do that of course, she needed the legendary Master Sword, wherever that was.

After saving her sister, she was going to beat the life out of whoever and or whatever thought it was smart to fuck with her. Third, well... she hadn't really thought past goals numbers one and two. She was really focused on goal number two. She supposed that she could help some people along the way. But only if it served to help her rescue mission in the end. And of course, to anything that stood in her way? Well, there would be no mercy from her.

With her eyes set firmly on the horizon, she tightened her weapon harness, pulled the paraglider from her magic bag, and leapt straight off the cliff. She had a mission to accomplish...

-Author's Note-

I'm just going to go ahead and say it now, but I've absolutely no idea where this is going. Breath of the Wildis an entirely open world game, so literally anything could happen starting next chapter. Furthermore, writing an open world game and making sure that the reader does not lose track of the character's location is something I find difficult.

For anyone wondering, this idea was spawned at a random thought that passed my mind one day. That simply being, "I wonder what it would be like if Link awoke from the chamber as a woman with the body similar to that of a Gerudo just shorter and just dominated literally everything? Female Link subduing Lynel's, destroying Bokoblin camps, and just generally being a goddamn badass woman while strutting around in armor? Just general chaos."

FYI, the cover photo is literally this Link. Just so you can have that image in your mind. Yes, I know, I made her hot. But that's literally the point this time around. Actual chaos. It's too early to tell, but the feeling I get from it is a mixed bag between serious and not serious at the same time.

What are you going to do now Ganon? You've got to fight a Link that is now in the possession of a Hylian body practically imbued with the soul of a female Gerodo warrior goddess.

So if this story strikes your fancy, then please do be a doll and let me know, because I'd love to hear it.
