Chp 1- Kami no Shinobi

Note:- I want to clarify some things or else these things would cause confusion in future.

A. My fic is in an AU. Some things would be same as Canon while some facts, personality of characters and events would be different from canon for better run of the story.

B. Naruto is not an idiot like canon, He will be a bit more mature and smart. Naruto will kill, there is not a no-kill moto in my fic.

C. He is being trained by Hiruzen from an early age, so he would be far more stronger than canon version.

Sarutobi Hiruzen was walking through the corridors of Hokage tower with a yellow bundle in his hands, his destination? Council meeting of Konoha. Any body who notices him takes a side as his face was of pure rage and anger, and his aura radiated the power of once Kami no shinobi.

The god of shinobi was not a moniker to be acquired so easily, there were only two God of shinobi in entire Elemental nation. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the man who led Konoha in two of three great ninja wars and Konoha was the winner of these two wars and Hasirama Senju, the first Kami no shinobi, and the wielder of the most feared Kekkei-Genkkei, Mokuton.

It was not to be said that Hiruzen had lost his powers, but a man is strongest in his prime.

Hiruzen was livid on himself, why didn't he sacrificed himself to seal the Kyubi no kitsune in the boy? The said boy was in his hands, the cute little bundle, the boy only cried once when he came out of Kushina, the red hot hobenaro. He was looking curiously towards the face of Hiruzen, Hiruzen's anger melted on seeing the face of boy. He smiled and went toward the gates of council chamber, automatically four guards surrounded him and he opened the gates to enter.

Danzo shimura, The yami no shinobi-Darkness of shinobi, was a shrewd man who was also a rival and friend of Hiruzen. In his prime Danzo started a shinobi foundation known as 'ne' a.k.a ROOT, He was feared as well as respected throughout the population of Konoha.

Danzo was looking toward the Civilian council. Scums, Disgrace, They were power greedy fools who only wanted wealth, they only got their seats through the trade that connects elemental nation together. Danzo himself respected power, he once was a very ambitious man, who wanted konoha on the top of elemental nation. But the death of his son Sora Shimura broke his will, it was not the death alone but Sora last words, at his last moment he said that "the sacrifice was for the peace", even an apathic person like Danzo was stricken to the cord when his son took out entire battalion of 200 ninja with his death through a technique known as "Angle Flash". Danzo left all of his his ambitions that day, ROOT was disbanded and its agents were merged with regular anbu black Ops, but he kept 10 agents for his safety and as a reserve.

The Civilian council was going haywire on the destruction caused by the 'Fox demon'. Hiruzen entered council through double doors, two anbu on each side of the hokage. He set the boy in the hands of a Cat masked female anbu and went on to stand in front of the hokage seat.

A fat man named as Hiroki takade stood up and asked "Where is Yondaime-sama? We need to discuss about the repairment of the village, plus we need funds for infrastructure damage"

Shikaku Nara was a long thin man with two scars on his face, one on cheek on the left of his face and other being on forhead on the same side. He was a genius of his own league and the current Clan head of Nara clan. He stood up and bowed to the previous leader before speaking "Sandaime sama we also need to discuss about the loss of shinobis we incurred in the incident. We also need to deploy more guard across our village parameters so that any spy can't take advantage of our weakened state for their benefits"

Hiruzen looked upon council for a moment and replied "I am very sorry and I regret to say this but our Yondaime hokage, Minato namikaze gave his life to defeat Kyubi and sealed it inside a vessel".

Pindrop silent went through the coucil chamber for a few minutes, then some started to murmur while some openly whispered about the loss.

The silence was broken by a firm but experienced voice of Danzo shimura "What about his successor Hiruzen?"

"Minato didn't chose a successor that's why I will be take up the mantle of Hokage again and serve you till I choose a next successor" Hiruzen stated confidently.

"Very well Sandaime sama" Danzo said firmly and nodded toward Hiruzen as a sign of Support

Before anyone can say anything else another civilian member Satsuki Akima stood up and asked "What about the repairment cost? Who will pay that? and What about the kyubi vessel? Who is he? How do we know its safe to let it live? if Yondaime sama couldn't defeat it then, what will a damn seal will do? Why shouldn't we complete what Yondaime started?" and went on to glare on the Yellow bundle with hate and Disgust.

That was what Hiruzen feared, he had hid the identity of Kushina as a jinchurikki due the hate toward monster. He knew the seal was safe and any person with some knowledge in seal can confirm that, he also had full trust on his successor's skills. He contemplated for a minute and looked toward Danzo, Danzo nodded, as a friend he will help Hiruzen in this situation.

Sandaime replied "The boy is in safe hands of my anbu here and the seal will lock up Kyubi for a long time in the boy's belly. His name is Naruto Uzumaki and he is to be treated as a hero of Leaf due to his burden"

That caused five raised eyebrows those were of Hiashi Hyuga the clan head of Hyuga clan, Tsume inuzuka the clan head of Inuzuka clan, Fugaku Uchiha the clan head of Uchiha clan, Nara Shikaku Commander of Leaf force and hokage's strategic advisor and Danzo shimura.

Hiashi was on the same Gennin team as Kushina and knew that there was only one Uzumaki in village. Same can be said about Tsume, she was a partner in pranks of Kushina and One of the three friends of Kushina. Fugaku's Wife was friend with the 'Red Trouble'. Nara shikaku was a Genius and just figured it out and we all know about Danzo's spies.

Soon after this there was a uproar on both side of council, the whole civilian council was in support of execution of the said 'demon', From shinobi council three clans opposed the hokage's decision, one was a lowly clan, second was Kurama clan, Lastly and most shocking Uchiha clan.

"ENOUGH" Hiruzen roared and, Let out his 2/3 KI. All the people including anbu and excluding Danzo were on their knees, sweating profusely. While most of the Civilian councilors started falling unconscious on the ground.

Neko spoke fearfully "Hokage sama, the boy is terrified, I request you to please stop this aura"

Sandaime glanced toward the baby and saw the terrified expression on his face and wet diapers.

Hiruzen stopped his KI and aura, everyone let out the breathe they were holding unknowingly. Sandaime Glared toward Kurama clan head, Murakumo Kurama flinched and stepped back his eyes down to floor. But Fugaku uchiha look directly right back at Sandaime and said "Hokage sama, I do not mean to offend you. and I truly believe in skills of Yondaime, but the boy is a burden and should be dealt as one. We should either kill it or use it as a weapon".

Hiruzen knew Fugaku uchiha was very ambitious and competitive man, Fugaku was a rival to minato, a rival like a true enemy. He despised non uchihas and also wanted the mantle of hokage but do not be mistaken, it was not for peace or safety of village, it was for power. Yes, Fugaku uchiha was a power hungry man and he knew that Naruto was a sore in the eyes of Uchiha clan head.

Tsume inuzuka exploded with profanity on the Behavior of Uchiha clan head, She was friend of this pups mother so this pup was also a part of her pack. She will not let any fucking body harm a single strand of hair on this boy's body.

"No, Naruto is safe and Kyubi's Chakra is locked up inside the seal. As of Today Naruto's status as a jinchurikki is an S-class secret, and anybody who discuss it shall be executed. Naruto will be under regular and direct surveillance of top anbu agents and anyone who would put a single scratch on the boy will be executed publicly"

Fugaku nodded from outside but inside he was seething, he wanted the last proof of that man existence be erased but he will do it indirectly at a right time.

Ultimately the members of civilian council woke up and the discussion on different matters went on.

After four hours:-

Hiruzen was back in hokage chamber with a yellow bundle in his arms he set the baby in the corner of chamber in crib brought by Owl masked anbu earlier, also known as the chamber of hell and badluck by Tsunade senju, the once Student of hokage and one of the three legendary Sannins who left the village after the death of her lover Dan and brother Nawaki.

He wanted to adopt Naruto but his wife had died in kyubi attack, his first son was in anbu and second was going to be a part of twelve guardian guards of daimyo. He also had to mantain the duties of the Hokage, He had to wait up for three people opinion, if all of the three refused to take care of the child then he would put the boy in orphanage.

Hatake Kakashi also known as Sharingan no Kakashi, his Sharingan was a gift from his lost friend Obito Uchiha. He himself cremated the body of hero Uchiha, Kakashi had lost his father at the age of 5. Sakumo hatake, the white fang of Konoha committed suicide by impaling himself by his famous sword. Kakashi had also lost his first friend in the cave near Kannabi bridge and his second friend suicided by impaling herself by Kakashi's famed Chidori. His last ties to humanity was saved by Minato and Kushina, today he lost both of them also.

Kakashi lost them because he was held back by Danzo's men, he was livid as his only connection to this village was now in shreds. He may even leave this job and village, at first he joined shinobi ranks to reinstate the honor of his clan that was by destroyed by his father. But the death of Obito made him see the value of friends and his father's ultimate sacrifice. He wanted to protect his loved ones by serving the village shinobi system, but now he has no one to protect. He stepped in the office only to see...
