A/N: So yea... I caved.
Honestly, I really did not intend to do a "sequel" to Tiger Strike and I was really hoping to try my hand at another Cross Over fic. (Sailor Moon/Halo).But... A lot of you asked for more and I have to admit, there were a lot of things I originally wanted to add into my previous story, but had to cut them out because of the direction Tiger Strike was going.
So hopefully this fic would build onto what I already have and give a look into what else was going on during Tiger Strike. Depending on how well received this story is, I just might give regular updates. But who knows for sure?
As always, GATE belongs to its respective owners and not me and I am doing this story for fun and not profit. Same thing goes to any music I use so don't sue me, I am broke. All I own, are the OCs I created for this story. So without further ado... on to the story...

August 15th, 20XX.
Embassy of the United States of America.
Tokyo, Japan.
11:33 AM...
Ambassador Linda Hernandez sat alone within her office, as she went over some documents that had been delivered just the day before. Normally, New Mexico native would be home on this Saturday with her family like every other weekend, seeing that the Embassy was usually closed to the public. But due to the Recent Tiger Strike exercise being held, the Hispanic woman had more work that she would have liked to have.
Due to the scale of said exercise, it was inevitable that American troops would encounter members of the public and there might be some "friction" as a result. Despite its goal of fostering cooperation between many Asia-Pacific nations, there were many Nationalist groups in Japan who were not too keen on the idea of Foreign soldiers on their native soil. American forces included.
As a result, in an attempt to combat this negative view, the U.S. Government and agreed to hold a number of community outreach programs in and around Japan. In short, Normal Japanese citizens would be allowed to interact with U.S. Military personnel and show that the United States was not the scary monster the Nationalist were painting them as.
Hence was the reason Hernandez was in her office that morning, as she needed to go over some final documents that would allow for the programs to proceed. But eventually, the ambassador completed her task and filed away the competed paperwork for Monday. Her only thoughts on her mind now was to return home and get some rest, before heading out once again with her daughters and husband to some anime convention taking place in Ginza that day. She was just about to exit her office when she heard a low rumble coming from outside.
"Earthquake?" the diplomat thought to herself, as she made her way to one of her windows and drew the curtains... Just in time to see what looked like a Dragon fly by with someone in its mouth. Hernandez barely had time to process what she had just seen, before the door to her office swung open and a group of Marines rushed in.
"Mrs. Hernandez, we have to get you to the safe room now!" one of the Marine said calm but urgent tone. "Tokyo is under attack!"
"What?" the diplomat asked, as she soon began to notice several columns of smoke rising above the Tokyo skyline. "What the hell is going on? who is attacking us?"
"We... we don't know." the Marine replied, "But we need to get you to safety now!"
"Why can't we just leave the compound?" the diplomat asked the Lieutenant, only for another dragon like creature to answer her question, as it flew dangerously close to her office window. But as the ambassador looked on, she could also see hundreds of people in the street running away from something. If they were running pass the embassy, then.that could only mean one thing.
Who ever it was attacking Tokyo, was heading there way.
But Hernandez was not content with just hiding in what was basically a bunker, while innocent people were in danger.
"Send a message to the Japanese Prime Minister!" the Ambassador began to bark out orders. "Tell them we are taking in Japanese civilians onto our compound and we are requesting immediate assistance."
"Ma'am?" The lieutenant asked with a confused expression forming on his face.
"Open the gates and get as much people as you can inside our walls asap!" Hernandez ordered, just as another dragon flew by. "Do it!"
"Yes ma'am." The marines replied, only then did Hernandez agree to leave her office and towards the Embassy safe room.
Meanwhile just outside the embassy walls, thousands of Japanese civilians ran as fast as they could through the city streets and away from the advancing threat. Some of them had seen their friends and love ones be slaughtered by this unknown army that seemingly came out of nowhere. An army that looked like something straight out of a history book and had everything from goblins that attacked women, to dragons that literally snatched people off the ground as they tried to escape.
Now this very same army was chasing after them and showed no signs of stopping. They needed to get away and fast. But as they approached the American Embassy, they saw the steel gate leading into the compound slide open and a number of American "soldiers" rush out with rifles in hand.
"GET IN! GET IN!" a couple Marines called out in Japanese, as they motioned to the fleeing crowd to enter the compound. While several more took position around the entrance and scanned the area with their weapons.
One of these Marines, a young Texas native by the name of Carlos "Carl" Anderson, had taken up position behind a parked car. Using the scope mounted onto his C.Q.B.R. rifle, the young man looked down the street from where the civilians were fleeing. His finger on the the trigger, as the crowd began to thin as they were lead into the Embassy Ground. But suddenly, he caught sight of something the young marine could not explain.
For now running towards his position, were several humanoid creatures that despite their bulky anatomy, were moving much faster than what should have been possible. But what really caught his attention, was the fact that these... creatures, were armed with short swords and were actively chasing several teen girls who could not have been much older that fifteen. Worst still, their clothes had been ripped and from the looks on their faces, the Marine could only guess just what those beast planed to do to those young women.
Without missing a beat, the young Texan took aim with his weapon and squeezed the trigger. The sudden sound of gun fire caused many of the civilians to panic, as two more marines rushed to Carlos' position to find out just what was going on. But his actions quite possibly saved a few lives, as two of the pig men fell dead and their companions recoiled at the horrific sight. As the girls who were being chased were able to make it to she safety of the American.Embassy.
But no sooner that the attackers paused, the pig like creatures resumed their advance and quickly closed the distance between themselves and the defending Marines. But their attack would be futile, as Carlos and the other 2 marines opened fire on their would be attackers and dropped every single one of them. Bright red blood now pouring out of their motionless bodies, as their life force exited their bodies.
"What the hell were those things?!" Carlos asked his equally confused comrades, as they looked on at the dead bodies laying just a few meters away from them. Just what the Hell was going on indeed? Those... . things, were not human at all and they were carrying swords! Who were they? What were they?
These marines had questions, but they would not be answered right away. For as the last group of civilians made it into the Embassy grounds, the Marines on the street retreated back into the diplomatic compound before the gates were closed. Just as the first elements of the Imperial army began to march towards their location...

Unfortunately, The United States Embassy was not the only diplomatic mission that was now under threat. As news of the attack began to spread throughout the Japanese Capitol, those who were part of the Diplomatic Corp began to enact their individual security protocols and contact their respective governments. As well as the office of the Japanese Prime Minister, which by this point had been moved to a undisclosed location for security reasons.
Fortunately, many of the Diplomatic missions were located a good distance away from Ginza and had time either evacuate or at the very least, barricade their positions as they took in as much people as they could. Unfortunately, the South Korean Embassy was the closest to Ground Zero and had little time to react to the sudden assault. Despite their best efforts, the security personnel was forced to flee as thousands of Sadrean Soldiers flooded into the compound and set fire to the building. The Korean Ambassadors body would be found in his office, along with the bodies of several Japanese nationals who he had apparently tried to protect.
As the Korean Embassy burned, Indonesian guards at their diplomatic mission had managed to barricade themselves within the building and were.firing at the approaching Imperial army. Despite only numbering about a dozen men, the Indonesians were putting up a fierce resistance as the Embassy grounds were littered with the dead and dying. A similar battle was now taking near the Indian Embassy as well. Only this time the Indian security personnel on sight had managed to not only repel the advancing Saderans, but had now taken up positions in the street along side members of the Tokyo Police Force, who had been sent in earlier to assist in evacuation the Diplomatic compound. But this was only just a fraction of just what was going on in Tokyo.
The Sadrean Army continued their advance through the Japanese Capitol with little to no resistance. But that soon changed as the first attack helicopters began to appear in the skies above, supported by a multinational force of combat jets representing some of the most powerful nations in the Asia-Pacific region. But while the counter attack was formidable, it would still take time for friendly ground forces to snake their way through the city streets and assist many of the besieged embassies.
Meaning until help arrived, they would be on their own...

Embassy of the Republic of India
12:55 PM.
It had been close, but by some miracle they had held the line against... what or who ever they were! Leaning against one of the Embassy vehicles, Corporal Dinesh Gupta of the Indian Diplomatic Security Force (A/N: I made that up) looked through the scope of his M-4 Carbine and scanned the now empty street before him. Well, empty if you don't count the numerous dead bodies that now littered the street that is.
Just hours before, he and his fellow Security personnel were getting ready to celebrate their county's independence day. Now here they were with assault rifles in hand hand and fighting along side Japanese Police against what could have been described as an Roman style army. The Indian Embassy was fortunate enough to be able to evacuate most if its personnel before the invaders came. But not everyone was able to make it out in time before the first legions appeared matching up the street.
Horse mounted Cavalry they were. Their rather ornate armor shined brightly in the morning sun, as they rode towards the embassy. As they approached, the apparent leader of the group came forward and yelled something at them. It almost sounded like Italian, maybe? But although nobody knew just what this man was saying, it was very clear to see that by his tone and body language, it was safe to assume he was demanding that Gupta and his fellow countrymen.surrender. There demands were obviously not met and when the leader of the cavalry charged, he was shot dead along side the rest of his men. Who attempted to avenge their fallen leader.
Now the street was quiet, save for the sounds of police sirens and violence that were carried by the wind. Due to what ever was going on at the moment, the remaining Embassy personnel were unable to evacuate themselves. The only vehicles remaining were a pair of armored up Toyota Prado SUVs , not enough to transport the two dozen or so Embassy staff to safety. Let alone the civilians who were now taking shelter within the Embassy itself, many of whom had been wounded by the attacking army. Hence the reason why the Prados were being used to blockade the street.
Although told that help was on its way, it was still anyone's guess just as to when they would arrive. Dinesh and the rest of his team were well aware of the chaos that was taking place, as many of them had there phones and were receiving news alerts from various media outlets. They did not want to risk trying to escort the civilians on foot and despite their apparent modem weapons, they only so many bullets among them. They would have no choice but to stay where they were and wait.
Another guard who was standing next to him had his cell phone one and was currently listening to a live stream from the BBC World Service. Apparently marshal law had been declared by the government, as Japanese and other international troops began to pour into the city. But the stream also showed images of the carnage that had taken place, as men in Roman style armor ran through the streets and killed anything that moved.
Suddenly, the sound of an approaching engine caught the attention of the joint Indian-Japanese force. A small box truck was heading towards their position with the driver popping the horn frantically as if to gain their attention. Within moments, the small delivery van screeched to a halt just a few feet away from the parked vehicles.
"Help! we need help!" the driver, an older gentlemen, exclaimed in Japanese, just as the back of his delivery truck opened up to reveal several badly wounded persons being helped out by the other passengers.
Without missing a beat, the Japanese police officers assisted their fellow countrymen off the truck and into the safety of the Indian Embassy, as the old driver began to frantically yell that the Indian guards.
"What's he saying?" Dinesh asked one of the other guards, as he himself had not been in Japan long enough to understand the language.
"He says that army is on the way here!" The other guard replied, as he tightened his grip on his rifle and retook his position. Suddenly, the air was filled with the sound of a horn, followed by drums. Something that caused the delivery driver flee into the embassy itself. Further down the street, Colorful banners began to appear as a large formation of men followed behind.
"Shit..." Dinesh cursed under his breath, as he saw the approaching army. "sabhee ko kavar karane ke lie jao, pozitans lo!" he yelled out, as both his team.and the Japanese police took positions behind the parked cars with their weapons at the ready. Meanwhile, the approaching Army slowly matched towards the Indian line.
It felt like an eternity, as Dinesh watched the formation advanced towards his position. It would be almost mesmerizing if it wasn't for the fact these men were here to.kill them. Leading this formation, was a man dressed in armor that was way too ornate to be practical and riding a large white horse. It did not take a expert to realize that individual on the horse, was the leader of this group.
The advancing force finally came to a stop less than twenty meters from the Security force, but the leader came closer to address the Indian guards and their Japanese Allies.
"Co legatus Marco nomen Lauan!" the man on the horse called out to the now bemused Embassy Guards and Japanese police officers. " Audio in domum tuam et sis facis te demanda loyatly iurare in Saderan Imperii!" he called out again. His voice dripping of confidence/arrogance, as his words carried by the now warm air and landing on the ears of the "Savages" before him.
To bad none of the Indians, nor the Japanese under stood just what he had said and remain at their positions with their weapons pointed at them. The Legate just smiled at this point, as he had to admire his foe's resolve. But it would be for naught, as these savages would fall like so many of the empire's enemies.
"impetus!" he suddenly roared out, as his army suddenly began to charge at the Embassy lines. But no sooner had their intentions been revealed, a wall of hot lead was unleashed onto the Imperial soldiers. Instantly killing dozens, including the would be commander. His now motionless body now pinned under his still bleeding horse. But despite their casualties, the Saderans continued to advance and close the gap between themselves and the Diplomatic security force/police.
"Maidaan chhodana! Fall Back!" Dinesh yelled out, as he continued to pick off the approaching Saderans. There was just too many of them and there was now a very real possibility of being overwhelmed.
Still firing the weapons at the attackers, both the Guards and the Police retreated back into the Embassy grounds and closed/locked the main gates. As the civilians were now being lead into the building itself with the guards keeping a watchful eye on the steel gates that were starting to buckle. Eventually the yard was clear and the Diplomatic Security were the last ones to enter. Just as the gates broke down to reveal a massive monstrosity with greenish-brown skin and holding a club that was easily twice the size of a Hindustan Ambassador*. Just what in the name of Kali was that thing?!
If that monster was able to break down a pair of 800lb steal gates, then what chance did the Embassy building itself had? But just as the creature began to turn its attention to the Embassy building itself, Its body began to explode as 30mm rounds impacted it. moments later, a pair of AH-64 gunships with Kangaroo Roundels roared over head and unleashed hellfire and damnation on the would be attackers.
Those who were lucky enough to still be alive after the Australian counter attack, tried to make one last gallant stand against the strange flying creatures. Only to discover that bows and arrows were ineffective against one of the deadliest attack helicopters on Earth, as they were quickly mowed down by 30mm cannon fire.
Dinesh and his fellow guards cheered as the gunships cleared the Embassy grounds and gave chase to the now fleeing imperial army. Just as several NH-90 helicopters from HMAS Canberra and HMS Prince of Wales came in and the soldiers/ Royal Marines on board began to fast rope out of them. It was a scene that was now being repeated all over Ginza, as the Nations who were taking part in the Tiger Shield Exercise began to assist their Japanese counterparts in retaking the district.
At the American Embassy, AH-1Z Vipers made short work of the Imperial soldiers that were still trying to breach the walls. While a mix of UH-1Ns and CH-53 King Stallions landed on the Embassy grounds and unloaded their compliment of troops. Much to the relief of both the Embassy Marines, and a very grateful Japanese public who had been taken in. As the invaders fled, a convoy of Japanese SDF trucks arrived to evacuate the civilians from the diplomatic compound. But while there was a happy ending in these locations, the same could not have been said elsewhere.
A convoy of Vietnamese BTRs were the ones who came upon what was left of the South Korean Diplomatic Mission. The building was now engulfed in flames with smoke still pouring out the smashed windows. While the grounds where littered with the bodies of dozens of Japanese civilians who hoped they would be safe. Many of which had been mutilated beyond recognition. Thus was the case all over Ginza, as many had either been killed, wounded or worse.
But eventually, the Japan and its allies were able to crush the invading army and secure the mysterious structure they came from. A structure that was now being called "The Gate" by many of the world's media houses.
By the time the sun began to set in the west, Tokyo was still under total lockdown as hundreds of medical personnel and their equipment began to flood into the city. While field hospitals and make shift medical centers began to appear to assist the thousands that had been wounded in the attack.
But as the people of Tokyo tried to come to terms with what had just happened, ominous drums began to beat across Asia and the world. Drums that were heard when the World Trade Centers fell, the same drums that were sounded when Hitler sent his army into Poland and when Saddam rolled his tanks into Kuwait. As the days turned into weeks and then into months, those drums would become louder and louder. As For the first time in a very long while, historical adversaries would join forces and the bonds between traditional allies would only become stronger.
In Subic Bay, dozens of vehicles belonging to the Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas waited to be loaded onto the Ro-Ro now docked in the naval base.
At the Robinson Barracks, tank crews went over their Abrams one final time before they would be loaded onto the C-17 aircraft for transport.
At Yokuta Air Base, ground crews were busy disassembling numerous aircraft for their eventual transport into the the Special Region.
While in Ginza itself, in the recently established security perimeter surrounding the Gate, numerous special forces teams would make history by becoming the first ground units to be deployed in this new conflict.
Eventually, those drums would fall silent. But would be replaced with the thunderous chorus of mighty war machines crossing the void that separated the two worlds. All the while, a sea of humanity cheered them on and wished them.the very best of luck as they watched the multinational force pass through the Gate.
A new chapter in human history had just begun, and its impact would be felt for many years to come...

A/N : Well... what better place to start than at they very beginning?
Anyway... This is only the beginning and hopefully the start of another story you guys might enjoy. But... I just might start another story while I am writing this one so don't be too surprised if you see another story pop up along side this one.
So until next time, NIGHTSTALKER out!
Trivia: The Hindustan Ambassador is NOT an actual ambassador, but a small sedan built by Hindustan Motors of India from 1958 to 2014. Yea, it was a very popular car in India for a very long time.
