Greetings, all. Welcome to my new story Code Geass: Lelouch of the Redemption. This is the first chapter to begin this new journey I have constructed in my mind. While this plot and the OCs belong to me, I must remind you that Code Geass itself does not. And with that, let's start, shall we?

It was the time of dawn. A man and a woman around the age of thirty walked side by side on a dirt path in the countryside of a wondrous state at the edge of the nation known as Britannia. It had been a year since the downfall of the Demon Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia and all had been tranquil since then. No major wars had occurred and no country was in control of another. All was well.

The man gazed up at the sun with a smile, his eyes gazed the sight before in longing. He slowly turned his head to the woman next to him who was watching the birds fly in the sky.

"The birds must be going home right now," She said, innocently.

"Ah, it would appear so," The man said as he turned to look at the birds. All was serene and the man couldn't help but feel satisfaction, "It's peaceful, isn't it?"

The woman nodded in agreement, "Hm. It definitely i-"

And perhaps that was when they heard the sound. Turning from the birds, they looked at a plane flying in the sky. The sound of its engines resounded throughout the area as it flew overhead. The two watched as it continued flying and a small dot became visible on the white body of the plane. The dot eventually appeared to separate from the plane as the plane continued to move away from the object even faster than it had came. The object became bigger and bigger as it neared the surface. Two pairs of eyes widened at the last second, but it was already too late to do anything.

The world in front of their eyes flashed white as a thunderous sound exploded in their ears. And for their last second in life, they knew the birds before had not been going home.

They had been running from danger.

Geass 1: Broken Tranquility

"No human being is so bad as to be beyond redemption."

~Mahatma Gandhi

[Queensland, Australia]

The small ting of a cup being placed on a plate was heard throughout the small apartment in Australia. Long slender fingers unattached themselves from the handle of the cup as a girl with long lime green hair stood up from her place on the couch. It had been a tough day for C.C. She had been assigned quite a project for her career.

Yes, C.C had a career now. Two months after Lelouch's death, she had gotten herself a job in journalism. Her gossip network seemed to serve a lot for that accomplishment. By getting a job in journalism, she would be able to keep track of everything happening around the world. At least that was what Kallen thought. In truth, C.C had been plotting. After the Zero Requiem had finished its final stage, Jeremiah had been able to get a hold of Lelouch's body. And after attaining a favor from a contact of hers, she was able to find a place to keep Lelouch's body safe. Through her career in journalism, she was allowed to travel the world in search of a gate into C's World which had not been destroyed yet without it seeming suspicious.

And that very same job had landed her in Australia for nearly two months now. Apparently, there had been some weird activity going on around the continent. That was what the rumors said. And her boss was absolutely eager to send C.C to the scene just to get her away. And that was exactly what C.C had wanted. These rumors of the weird happenings in Australia had indeed sparked the immortal witch's interest. One reason was because of the rumors of men and women who were said to have disappeared long ago reappearing. That had troubled C.C to an extent. She didn't know exactly how long this supposed 'long ago' was. Those men and women could have been immortals if the Geass Order had not been decimated. But if the 'long ago' was even longer than the time that C.C had been alive for, it could be a possibility. Most of the older immortals decided to dissociate themselves from the Geass Order and worked alone. Not even V.V was powerful enough to have a say in what they did or did not do.

The second reason had been the possibility of being able to see that old friend of hers. If C.C knew her friend well, then she was almost absolutely sure that they would have come here. C.C's friend was a person who was always seeking something interesting in absolutely anything. Though, C.C would have to admit that her friend had a gigantic amount of pride and absolutely hated to be looked down upon, so she was kind of curious as to why C.C hadn't heard of or even caught a glimpse of her friend anywhere. She knew that her friend had a strong dislike for Britannia in itself. Just like how Lelouch did. Perhaps that was why C.C had initially taken an interest in him.

So where was this friend of C.C's? Her friend appeared not even once during Lelouch's rebellion and the Zero Requiem and they weren't in Australia either, apparently. C.C was starting to get exasperated. She had been looking for her friend for a long time now and she had failed in every single attempt to get in touch with them ever since she was captured by Clovis.

Ring~ Ring~

C.C was broken out of her thoughts as she stared at her phone which had started to ring with an incoming call from an unknown number. It couldn't be Kallen. Even though the red-head would call her through multiple numbers, Kallen only had a few phones at her disposal and C.C had every number saved so she wouldn't have to pick it up and listen to the red-head's ranting. C.C contemplated if she should pick up the phone. If it was the red-head, C.C would probably throw her phone into a wall, stomp on it, jump on it, pound a hammer on it and throw it on the road so it can get crushed even further under a car and then feed to a shark in the aquarium. But that wouldn't be good as she didn't have money to spare from travelling for a new phone.

In the end, she decided to pick it up.

"I swear if that's her, I will personally go and kill her," C.C grumbled as she picked up the phone and put it to her ear. "Hello?"

"Ah, C.C," A voice spoke from the other end and C.C almost dropped her phone.

"...Eh?"

"..." The voice stayed silent for a moment before letting out a chuckle, "That's what you say to your dear old friend after two years? Really C.C, it seems your brain cells have been diminishing."

"Hey. Watch it." C.C grumbled. C.C didn't need to check anything anymore. This person was definitely her friend. No body else would dare to tease her like that and live. "So where have you been for so long?"

The voice laughed softly for a second, "Oh you know, here and there. But I've stumbled upon something quite interesting."

"And that would be?"

"All in due time, C.C. First, turn on the news. Something seems to have happened." The voice said.

"Okay?" C.C's eyebrows crumpled in curiosity. She reached for her T.V remote and quickly turned it on and changed the channel to the news.

A male news reporter was visible on the screen with a serious expression. A picture appeared behind the man. The pictures had C.C gaping. They were of destroyed buildings and charred land and more that she would not have the words to describe.

"The small town of Euserphor was targeted as the site of a bomb blast yesterday. The town of Euserphor and surrounding areas were destroyed and unfortunately no survivors were found except for a little boy who is currently under the best medical treatment available in Britannia." The reporter said, "We do not know why Euserphor was a target of such a nuclear bomb blast or who is responsible for this horrendous act. WHA representative Nunnally vi Britannia and former second princess Cornelia li Britannia are working on figuring out who did this and why. Zero and the Black Knights have began their own investigation on the matter and are offering their own services in the reconstruction and compensation for the casualties in Euserphor and providing medical treatment for the survivor with the help of Dr. Rakshata Chawla and Dr. Lloyd Asplund."

C.C did not pay attention to the rest as she immediately turned back to her phone, "What's going on?"

"Shouldn't you know, Journalist C.C?" The voice asked in grim humor. "Then again I suppose you wouldn't. While I won't tell you exactly what is going on, I can help you with your current task. After all, it serves a purpose in this as well."

C.C's eyes widened as she heard this. She gripped the phone closer to her ear almost as if she was afraid she would miss a word, "You know where I can find a gate?"

The voice scoffed mockingly before speaking, "Who do you think I am?" And with the next words, C.C could literally hear the smirk in her friend's voice, "Of course I do."

[Britannian Central Hospital, Pendragon]

"What's the update on the boy?" Cornelia asked as she walked up to Guilford and a Britannian doctor he had been speaking with.

Both of them looked over to her. The Britannian doctor nodded in acknowledgement of her presence and she nodded back. The doctor spoke, "The boy's injuries have been tended to thanks to Dr. Asplund and Dr. Chawla, but the boy has seeped into a coma. We think it's because of the tremendous shock from experiencing the explosion and we believe the pain was too much for his young mind to handle and therefore slipped into a catatonic state."

Cornelia nodded grimly at this information. "Keep tending to the boy. Notify us if any changes occur."

"Understood. I will take my leave now," The doctor said and walked away.

Cornelia and Guilford stayed in silence, both adjusting to the new information. After a moment, Cornelia broke the silence, "What do you make of this?"

Guilford sighed softly, "I'm afraid I don't know what to make of this. A simple countryside town that didn't hold a position of great power in the government was attacked out of nowhere by a party we do not recognise and our only link to information is a young boy who is currently in a coma for something he had nothing to do with. It's messed up."

"Indeed," Cornelia nodded, "After Lelouch's tyrannic reign was brought down, the world seemed to unite. So why would someone do this?"

Once again, silence roamed. Cornelia sighed, "We have a meeting to discuss this with Nunnally, Zero and Schneizel today evening. They might have gotten an idea."

"We'll have to see."

"That we will."

[Council Room, Imperial Palace, Pendragon]

Nunnally wheeled up to the long table placed in the middle of the room. Purple lined the walls of the once imperial room and streaks of gold adorned the edges of the peach ceiling. A chandelier hung from it, lighting up the contents of the room with a formal glow. Chairs were occupied by men and women in business suits around the table as Nunnally sat in the front, gaining everyone's attention.

The atmosphere was tense and unnerving for any normal person but for those present in the room, it was natural and to be expected after the event that had taken place a couple days ago. Even if it was once, it had caused great damage and many had died. The assault was clearly intentional and therefore, measures needed to be taken. And thus, the mains of the WHA had gathered in the imperial building.

"I assume that everyone is here, correct?" Nunnally asked, looking at all those present in the room. She received nods in response and she continued, "As you all probably know, the small town of Euserphor had been attacked by unknown forces. We do not know who it was or why they did it. And unfortunately, we have not been able to gather any new information as of yet. Therefore, I called for this meeting to ask of you to help out with the matter in fields I believe would produce the most results."

No-one argued. They all knew Nunnally's network of connections was not remarkable as of yet as she had only been in a state of power for a while and had been steadily developing them. It was only natural that she would ask for assistance. They also knew that Nunnally was no fool just like how her brother wasn't. In fact, she was just as cunning and intelligent and had an unbelievable ability to tell what is the truth and what is not with just a glance. And as such, crossing her was not on anyone's mind.

"I would like to ask Ms. Zaizen's help for compensation of land."

A woman with long black hair nodded.

"Mr. Klaud for reconstruction."

A blonde haired man nodded.

"Mr. Campbell with intel."

A curly brown haired man nodded.

"Mrs. Shirogane's help will be required for investigation."

A woman with greying hair nodded.

"I am counting on you four," Nunnally said and the mentioned ones nodded once again. "For the rest of you, I ask you contribute in any way you can."

And the meeting went on. Roles were distributed and all agreed to their parts. However, no-one could shake off the feeling of insecurity with the knowledge that they didn't have much to go on. And if any of them were even slightly connected to a certain supernatural power, they would have heard a laugh that would have made their blood go cold.

Humans are such fragile things.

[Unknown Location]

Humans are such fragile things.

A clear look of discomfort spread over a girl's face. She looked to be around the age of seventeen. Her long navy blue hair swung in the wind as it was held together with a thin black ribbon in a ponytail. Two bangs escaped onto the sides of her pale face framing her deep amethyst eyes. She wore a long white jacket that reached a bit below her knees. The jacket was framed with black borders and had a hood attached to it. The top half was zipped up and the bottom half below the waist, was open revealing the ends of a black t-shirt and khaki pants with brown leather boots. The inside of the jacket seemed to be checkered with black on the end as it slowly dissolved to just the lines as it got higher. The sleeves which covered her arms were of the same fashion as C.C's straightjacket and her hands that dangled from the branch of a tree was hidden by chic black fingerless gloves.

"Stop that stupid laugh," the girl spoke, "Don't you have anything better to do than spy on a meeting?"

Now, now, E.E, I'm simply observing. Plus, there's nothing interesting going on either.

"Is that so?" E.E asked, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Of course there's nothing interesting going on." She said as she jumped down from her spot on a tree branch. She dusted herself off and started to walk on a dirt road in the orchard, "Now then, how about you stop annoying me and go back to your useless scheming."

Aww, but I wanted a rematch in chess today! I know I could win today!

"You know you're never going to win. I've heard you say that a billion times now and it has yet to pay fruit." E.E said, her eyes narrowing as she reached the fence leading to the outside of the orchard. "Now, leave my mind be and go away. Yukio should be done by now."

Ah, yes, he did have an assignment today didn't he? So what was it that you didn't go along?

"None of your business, now is it? And if you don't get out of my head right now, I will purge your connection with me."

You wouldn't.

"I would."

...No, you wouldn't.

"Want to find out yourself because I'd be more than happy to."

...

"Good riddance," E.E murmured. She slowly opened the fence and stepped outside, coming face to face with a boy around eighteen years of age. Amethyst and gold locked onto each other as blue and purple hair swerved in the wind. The silence was promptly broken with a irritated scowl, "Done?"

Yukio nodded, "Hmm. I got what we needed, so what's up? You seem agitated."

"G.G happened. The old man won't stop bothering me. And you know how that guy is." E.E said as she and Yukio fell into a slow walk on the road leading to a market place.

"Oh." Yukio hummed before getting a bit more grimmer in tone, "Up next is the assignment. I've done my part. You?"

E.E smirked, "Well, things are going to take an interesting turn soon enough, that's for sure."

Yukio gave a slight snort. As they walked on the road, they could begin to see the outline of a black car parked in front of a cathedral. "I sure hope so. Otherwise, this all would have been for nothing and that's not favorable at the moment."

"Definitely not,"

They neared the car and a man in a black suit, probably catching sight of them, got out from the driver's seat and bowed, "Lady E.E and Sir Yukio, you're presence has been called for at the Intelligence Site."

"Very well then, take us there." Yukio said and the man nodded, shifting back into the driver's seat of the car. Yukio and E.E took their seats as well in the back and the car started its engines, softly roaring as it began to move.

It took about twenty minutes to reach their destination which turned out to be a large glass building. The building looked like a cube box made out of glass tiles. On the top of the building, solar panels were lined up row for row. If one was to look in the glass with the intention of looking at what was on the other side of the glass, they would not get their desired results.

After the car parked in front of the building, the driver got out first soon followed by E.E and Yukio. They headed towards the building with man in front, guiding them through. When they reached the barely distinguishable glass doors of the building, the man pulled out a phone from his suit pocket. Typing quickly, he unlocked the phone and was greeted by a robotic voice, "Hello. Please verify your post."

"Callisto Zemargin, Elite Escort." The man said.

"Elites being escorted?" The robotic voice asked back.

"Mr. Yukio Shirogane and Ms. E.E,"

"Checking," The robotic voice responded. One of the glass panels just above the doors opened up, revealing a moving camera bot which made its way towards their faces. A few moments past and the bot retracted itself back in its original spot and the glass panel situated itself once again. "Escort and Elites verified. Please enter."

The glass doors slid open and the group of three made their way inside the building. They stepped on pure wood flooring with a consistent clack. The walls were completely white with pictures here and there. E.E kept her eyes on one in particular. It was of a giant sea serpent surrounding its body around the entirety of the earth with its tail still being able to reach its mouth. E.E couldn't help but feel amused at that one. After all, knowing what that was, she knew plenty well what it was kept there to signify.

Are they boasting or what? E.E mused.

They continued on their way through two metal doors until they finally reached one labelled Council Room. Callisto knocked on the door twice and after a second or two, the door slid open and Yukio and E.E let themselves in while Callisto retreated as the door began to close. Inside, there were already a number of people. But something all of them had in common were their royal blue robes. A man with blonde hair turned his emerald eyes towars the newcomers and smiled, "Welcome, welcome! We were just about to get started."

Yukio and E.E nodded and took a seat on a couch near the glass. They could feel many of the eyes in the room on them. Yukio simply turned his head to look out the glass at the world outside, paying no mind to the people there. E.E, on the other, looked all of them in the eye and rolled her eyes before sighing and picking at her jacket pocket. She brought her hand out, revealing a black chess king piece in her grasp. She smiled while looking at it knowingly.

"You're horribly excited. It shows,"

E.E turned her head to Yukio, "Well, why wouldn't I be excited? I know you are as well."

Yukio just smiled. Their small conversation was interrupted by the sound of the metal doors opening once again. All eyes in the room turned to face a man in green robes as he entered the room. The man had greying hair and cold blue eyes that said they had seen it all. Honestly, for any normal person, it would be a hellish experience when staring into the cold eyes which seemed to looking into your soul. But the people present in the room were quite accustomed to it. Sure, some were bothered by it but none were scared.

The man made his way to the middle of the room and stared at all the people evenly. He closed his eyes and opened the once again before speaking, "You know why you are here."

It was not a question. It was not anything asking for confirmation. It was something that was demanded, expected and known.

He didn't even wait for the nods before continuing, "London and St. Petersburg are our main objectives for the time being. All others are to be kept on hold. The G.G Unit and the Falcon Unit will lead today's mission."

This time he waited for the nods to come and they did. "Right. E.E?"

E.E looked up from the chess piece in her hand at the blue eyes staring her way, "Yes?"

"You will not be in this mission."

An eyebrow rose in curiosity, "May I ask why?"

"You will be in a different mission. One I have for you, Yukio and your squad."

This time Yukio looked over as well while E.E smirked, "Is that so?"

The man nodded, "You two will meet me in my office today evening."

"Sure," E.E said. "If it's interesting, I'll do it, Hollins."

Hollins grunted, "It's interesting, alright. The rest of you, I want you all to meet up in the hangar by noon."

"Yessir,"

And with that, Hollins left the room and many of the others did as well. However, E.E and Yukio stayed behind.

"What do you think it is?" E.E asked.

"Dunno," Yukio said, "But it probably has something to do with Japan."

E.E smiled, "Sure hope so."

[Council Room, Imperial Palace, Britannia, 4:36 p.m]

WHA representative Nunnally, the Britannian Military Commander Cornelia, her aid Guilford and the leader of the Black Knights, Zero were gathered under the roof of the Imperial Palace.

"I thank you all for coming today," Nunnally said, "We are gathered here to discuss about the anonymous group that had attacked Euserphor a couple days ago. If you have any new information, now would be the time to bring it to light."

Cornelia took this as her cue to speak, "The boy who survived the blast has unfortunately entered a coma. The doctors said it might be due to the shock and the pain and his young mind couldn't take it all at once."

Nunnally and Zero nodded in acknowledgement. Nunnally then looked at Zero who spoke, "Unfortunately, we have not been able to gather anything new. However, we have realised from looking at the chart of residents of Euserphor that half of the population of the town was not present there during the bombing. Apparently, they had gotten news of a festival that would be taking place a couple towns away. The festival was said to only charge a fee of five dollars for participation and the company managing the festival was ready to provide transport for all the attendees as well."

"Do we know what company this was organised by?" Cornelia asked.

"Well, the residents said the company was called Origin." Zero responded.

Nunnally and Cornelia's eyes widened. Nunnally immediately asked, "Origin? As in the enigma corporation that's been really successful for the past few months?"

Zero nodded, "That's right."

Origin was indeed a corporation that had made its way into the limelight a couple of months ago. It had immediately been a big hit but the officials of the government were a bit suspicious about its motives. The CEO of the new corporation was a person who went by the name Crown. Like Zero, the people had no idea who Crown was. Whenever appearing for the press, Crown would always wear something akin to a long white jacket with the top half being zipped up and the bottom left open. the end would be bordered with a black crown symbol and they would always have their hood up and a white mask would be on their face with a black symbol of an outline of something akin two bent leaves and a diamond in between the two. And just like with Zero, no-one was able to find out who was behind the mask and had eventually given up. And due to the corporation's well-known name, it was no wonder as to why the residents of Euserphor were willing to go to the festival.

"And the plot gets thicker," Guilford murmured and Cornelia shot him a look to which he seemed to wilt.

"This is indeed interesting," Cornelia said, "It could just be a coincidence but seeing as to who runs Origin, it is not something that is entirely impossible."

Nunnally's brows furrowed, "So, we believe that Origin might know what's going on?"

Zero shook his head, "No, that we can't say for certain yet. As Cornelia said, it could have just been a coincidence."

"However, the possibility still remains," Cornelia added.

"Indeed," Zero nodded. "If Origin is involved with this unknown group, then we would have something to go on."

Nunnally nodded, "I understand. But seeing as to we don't have any confirmation on this, would any of you happen to have found out something other than that?"

The room remained silent. That is until the doors to the council room were barged open by one of Nunnally's advisors who trudged up to Nunnally with haste and whispered something in her ear. Her eyes widened as she failed to hide a gasp. She cautiously looked at her advisor as if asking for confirmation and the advisor nodded, handing her a couple of papers. Nunnally quickly glanced through it and her violet-blue eyes narrowed. She nodded once to her advisor, who took it as his cue to leave and did so.

"Cornelia, Zero," Nunnally spoke, her voice much grimmer than before, "St. Petersburg in the E.U is being attacked by unknown forces."

"What!?"

Nunnally nodded, "Yes, unknown models of Knightmare Frames suddenly attacked St. Petersburg. The E.U military is currently handling it. However, do you not think it is weird?"

"Yes, it is. They attacked the city which was closest to the E.U military base." Zero agreed.

"Why would they do such a thing?" Cornelia wondered.

The room was once again silent, however, this time, Guilford was the one to break it. "Um-if I may, I believe that there are two reasons as to why this is."

All attention shifted onto him. A normal person would immediately freeze up for being given attention by such high-ranking individuals but this was Guilford. He was used to it.

"They are either stupid or they wish to show their prowess."

The visible pairs of eyes widened. Though, Guilford was sure Zero's eyes did as well. He shifted slightly in his seat.

"That could be a possibility," Zero spoke. "They seem to want the attention. First, they brought the whole world's attention onto themselves by just bombing a countryside town. Due to the peace that had been present for the last year, everyone's eyes would immediately fall on them as it was something that broke the usual routine. If such an act was able to garner that much attention, an attack on the E.U military base would bring even more attention to them. But, this decision is risky. If they are defeated by the E.U, this action will definitely be viewed as reckless."

"Unless they are sure they will win," Cornelia added.

Nunnally nodded, "And there's one more thing..."

All eyes returned to her, "Well, it seems the civilian towns around the war zone were evacuated. Well, not really evacuated, but apparently, a new system was to be installed in a couple of housing societies, and then there also seems to have been great big competitions for free trips to other countries and the like."

Hearing this, Cornelia and Guilford's eyes began to visibly widen while Zero's eyes narrowed behind the shade of his mask.

"And it was all organized by Origin."

[Unknown Location]

Crown slowly walked into a small apartment room and sat on a bed. It was not an apartment in actuality but something that felt like an apartment. It was actually in Origin Headquarters and since Crown sometimes stayed there overnight, they decided to make an extra room for themselves. And so, here Crown was, tired and bored.

"Everything seems to be progressing at its own pace," Crown murmured to themselves. "Wonder how things are going to change in a couple of days."

Crown lied onto the bed, a tired sigh escaping their lips. Checking to see if the door was locked, Crown gingerly pulled the hood down and took off the mask, placing it on the bedside table. They sat up abruptly again and opened the bedside drawer and pulled out a small envelope. They stared at it for a moment before taking out the envelope's contents and Crown was greeted by a pile of papers. "I really spent a lot of money on those, didn't I? Well, I suppose it's not a problem. If the company continues with its profits and I continue with my own, I should be able to afford these escapades of mine."

A loud ring reverberated throughout the room. Crown quickly grabbed at their mask and put it back over their face and fixed the hood. They quickly walked themselves over to the mirror and checked to see if anything was out of place. When everything was back in place, Crown hurried over to the door and opened it, bringing themselves face to face with a raven-haired boy with brown eyes.

"You called for me, Crown?" The boy asked.

"Ah, yes I did, Lacus." Crown said and stepped away from the door, "Come in."

Lacus entered the room and stood in the middle. Crown gestured at the sofa at the side of the room, "Take a seat."

Lacus complied and sat down and Crown followed. Lacus looked at Crown, "So what did you call me for?"

Crown seemed to disregard Lacus' words and asked, "Tea?"

Lacus sighed and shook his head, "Crown, I know how you are and so would you please get to the point?"

Crown chuckled, "You truly are quite straightforward, aren't you? Well, I suppose I will get to the point. I need your help."

Lacus' eyes widened slightly, "My help? With what?"

"I heard that you have acquaintances in Zilkistan. Is that correct?"

"Yes, it is."

Crown smiled behind the mask, "Say, what are their views on the peace that has reigned?"

"It's not pretty," Lacus responded. He did not understand. Why was Crown asking him this? Zilkistan was a country that made it's living by making weapons. However, due to the peace, there was no need for weapons or Knightmare Frames now. So, it was quite obvious that Zilkistan wouldn't be pleased but what did Crown want to do with this? Origin was but a simple company selling technology and other merchandise.

"I thought so." Crown said, "So tell me, if they were given a choice to start a war, what would they do?"

Lacus was starting to feel uncomfortable. A war? Was a war going to start? Why would Crown bring up such a big what-if? "May I ask why you are asking me this?"

"I thought it was quite obvious,"

"Obvious?"

"I'm scheming something,"

"Schemi-wait, what?" Scheming? What was Crown scheming? And what did it have to with a war?

"So, will you answer my question now?"

Lacus was indeed fazed by this information but chose to hive in for the time being. He would have to dig deep into this matter soon enough. "They would probably jump at the chance."

"Hmm, would it be possible for you to arrange a meeting between me and your acquaintances?"

Next Chapter:

Geass 2: Revival and The Rise of the Serpent

A/N: And that was the first chapter of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Redemption. I hope you all enjoyed it. In truth, I was not planning on publishing this until March but I could not bear to wait that long since I already had most of this prepared. So, I finished this chapter and ta-dah! Here it is! If you had checked out my profile before this, you would probably know I was working on this.

Now, coming onto the chapter, I feel like this is basically a prologue. In all sense, it looks like a prologue to me if you don't count the length. I basically introduced a couple of key characters other than Lelouch and they hopefully interest you. Now, I have kept some mysteries already. Like who C.C's friend is or who Crown is or what E.E and Yukio are doing and where they work at and all that. Do you guys think you can guess what's going on here? If you can, then kudos to you!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can without spoiling anything.

Next chapter, we will see Lelouch and what happens next, and who these unknown invaders actually are.

If you guys want to stay updated on when chapters will be coming out, you can visit the 'Updates on Ongoing Stories' section of my profile.

Stay tuned~
