I wish it need not have happened in my time and so do all who live to see such difficult times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
The fourth Ninja War was an event that affected the whole world in its entirety and its damage was felt even years later.
It was an event that everyone wished that it hadn't taken place in their time but reality cares for no one. Events will have happen as small pieces accumulate over time.
The war was the birth of a new era, an era of unification and peace. It was also the event that caused the death of millions as the Shinju roots spread. It caused massive damage to infrastructure that took years to fix.
It reminded humanity of their mortality. It reminded the normal humans of the difference between them and the chakra users.
It caused hate and fear for the ninja to increase by multiple folds.
It was also the birth of the new Hero of mankind, Uzumaki Naruto. The records of the war weren't kept a secret but spread, everything that took place was shared so that people would understand the reality of their world.
It was the date that Naruto realized the reality of war personally as he felt the massive deaths take place. He had won the war, he had achieved his objective of bringing his friend but there was no happiness.
He understood that he had failed, he had not tried his best and this was the result. No one would blame him for it except some radicals but Naruto understood that he was partly responsible for the result. All of it could have been stopped at the initial stage if he had been trained properly. The responsibility lay in his hands, in Jiraiya's hand and Hiruzen along with Kakashi.
All of them were responsible for the loss.
Taking the lesson seriously and seeing that he lacked the knowledge necessary to be a leader, Naruto took upon himself to become a true leader.
Just like his Master, Naruto travelled the world and saw things with his eyes so that people wouldn't trick him with false information.
He had promised Nagato that he would search for the answer to a Peaceful era and he had inherited that wish from his Master.
The journey had been harsh and it cruel but Naruto held on with the help of his friends. He made sure that cruel and inhumane events wouldn't take place for any reason, even if it was for a better future.
He applied a re-education policy for the people that had lost their path and had not gone too far in their misdeed, while the rest had been killed painlessly by him and the others.
After the war, he wasn't the only that changed but the world itself changed. It advanced in technology as the nations shared the information instead of disturbing each other.
It changed because Naruto increased the amount of nature energy in the planet by pulling it from the solar system.
This caused mutations and increased the power of the people. It did increase the difficulty in managing the world but it was a necessary step to combat the Otsutsuki. Sasuke found secrets of the Otsutsuki clan on his journey across the dimensions of their Immortal foe, Kaguya.
She wasn't alone, she wasn't the strongest and there was a clan filled with them.
And they were most likely coming for this world sooner or later.
The news was alarming to the extreme even though Naruto had become strong enough to defeat Kaguya by the age of 20.
Sasuke wasn't so far behind either, Hinata had gained the power of Tensaigan from the brother of the Sage and they had a new ally called Toneri with the same powers.
They were stronger than ever but the thought that Kaguya was not even one of the top tiers and that there were more of them put them in a dilemma.
Naruto took the decision to free Kaguya, using his powers he gathered pieces of each bijuus chakra and combined it before breaking the seal and allowing the chakra to merge with the sleeping beauty.
Black Zetsu had disappeared and seemed to have merged back into Kaguya as he had always been just a part of her mind.
Kaguya awakened with rage flowing through her body as the defeat was all too fresh but with her limited power, it was one sided battle but Naruto didn't subdue her like that and allowed her to regain all her strength to prove his superiority.
Cursing his arrogance, Kaguya absorbed the energy from the world and reached her optimal state but once again she was defeated.
This time the battle wasn't so one sided and took hours to finish but Naruto subdued her and beat the madness out of her mind.
She had never been evil according to the Sage so Naruto had taken the gamble to bring her real personality back into order.
It wasn't easy and the attempt was a success but what they learned after this was even worse than what they had imagined.
Otsutsuki Clan was a clan of immortal beings from a higher level Universe, they were one of the hardest beings to kill and they were born with immense power.
They had poor fertility rate but there were at least 10,000 originals and some half breeds.
They were known as one of the strongest beings in existence with their inherent abilities.
They had many different kinds of bloodline powers.
They could pass all their power and knowledge to another clan member when needed.
They could imprint others with a curse so that when they died, they would take over one of the bodies and resurrect.
They were like parasites of the universe especially because the clan harvested the life force from different planets across the vast number of universes.
Otsutsuki clan members moved as a group of two along with the Juubi and then they would plant the Juubi into the planet after it had eaten the weaker Otsutsuki.
The Juubi was a seed that grew into the Shinju tree and bore fruit that granted the Otsutsuki clan member great power and abilities.
The weaker Otsutsuki member would resurrect through a vessel and they would enjoy the harvest while the planet was destroyed as the life force was drained.
The Juubi can't grow properly without such a powerful source of nutrients so it was necessary for an Otsutsuki to be fed and later the roots would continue to suck on the life force of the planet and the people that fell in battle.
Kaguya was the weaker one in the group and should have died like usual for her partner but she had grown tired of seeing this scene.
She had enough of innocent people dying. Yes, she saw these lower beings as people and not ants. It broke her heart and she betrayed her own clan, her partner.
Her partner was called Ishiki and she backstabbed him while he was taking a bath and relaxing. He would never have thought such a thing could happen since the Otsutsuki clan was a tight clan, they never betrayed each other.
Kaguya was an anomaly among them and she succeeded in her attempt since the power difference between them wasn't too big.
She was low class normal member and he was just a high class normal member.
The rankings went from outer members, normal members, core members, elders, royal children and the King and his queen.
Kaguya was literally at the bottom of the ranking and was taking a huge risk for outsiders. She sacrificed her own well being and comforts for others.
Ishiki escaped with extreme damage on his body and she chased him, he died but she was sure he would one day resurrect from a vessel so she prepared for that day.
She fed his body to the Juubi and planted it into the world but through the bond she programmed it so that it wouldn't devour the whole world.
After that she brought peace to the world but her limited strength and the fears inside her mind got to her, and paranoia led to madness.
That led to the current situation where she was sure Ishiki would soon arrive and other two members from another group might check the area as it should have been decimated by now.
Learning the truth about their situation would have drowned many men in despair but Naruto was not even affected by such negative thoughts.
With confidence and determination he had Shikamaru and other gather to form plans for the future. They would ready the world to combat this threat and use every resource available for the goal.
For this purpose the ultimate training plan was utilized and many fighters went through bloodline surgery to make them stronger.
Naruto proved his mettle and the blessing of the sage showed its power. With the power of the six paths mode that allowed him mastery of chakra, Naruto learned all kinds of jutsu and made his own.
Everyone grew at an accelerated rate with the help from each other and the fact that they didn't have to worry about the destruction they caused since the training was in Kaguya's dimensions.
But external problems aside, world peace was a difficult prospect as humanity was inherently selfish. Evil didn't just disappear when Naruto took over but just hid itself deeper unlike before.
There were also the issues of fear that his presence caused on others, Naruto was too powerful. He was the strongest being on the planet and the other strongest were part of his faction.
He had no one to resist his will. They were terrified of him. They feared the day that there were disagreements and Naruto forced them by force.
None could stop him from doing it.
Naruto understood words and actions weren't enough because people would still fear the possibility of such a thing.
To lay down their worries, Naruto married from each of the main nations to insure that their words would be heard.
It was something that he had never imagined but it happened. The Uzumaki Clan went from being just a single individual to large family of fourteen.
It was a marriage of alliances and politics but Naruto was not someone that would treat people without love, so he came to love them and they came to love him.
But the Otsutsuki threat and the evils of humanity weren't the only problems in his life as the challenges of a family man were a thing.
Naruto just hoped he would get out of this alive and happy.
16 years had passed since the war and Naruto was now 33 years old while his children were 12 to 14 years old. He had grown into a powerful and respectable leader with an aura that commanded respect.
His body had grown to 190 cm with a muscular build that was carved with seals to help him resist various affects and for support in times when he was low on chakra.
His blonde hair was as long as usual and he wore black pants with white shirt along with an orange jacket.
After becoming Hokage he had also taken to wearing the white haori that told people of his position. It was long enough to reach his feet and cover his body. It was made with professional care by Hinata using her Tensaigan chakra so it was highly durable like his clothes since normal clothes would disintegrate with any casual movement from him.
Just like always, Naruto went without any weapons but he had adopted a full armor into his fighting style to increase his total prowess.
"Husband, what are you thinking about?"
Naruto opened his eyes as heard the voice, he was sitting in his office and his wife had come to pay a visit. It was Kaguya, his ancestor and now his wife.
It was a strange thing as one would expect Kaguya to be strong, but she was a weak woman that needed support. She needed love to hold her strong. She was afraid of losing herself. She was afraid of being alone.
Naruto held her hand so that she would support them and in return he provided her spiritual and emotional support.
She was immortal but Naruto was also immortal after what he had done to his body with the bloodline experiments. He was an Otsutsuki now, not natural but through experimentation using Kaguya's blood and DNA.
He had not manifested an eye power but his physical body had gone through change and he had horns.
Naruto kept them hidden as he didn't want to scare people or puncture something by mistake.
"Nothing, I was just taking a short nap." Naruto stretched his arms and looked at Kaguya who had walked into the room without using the door, utilizing her mastery over space.
"Are you sure the mighty Uzumaki Naruto was taken down by desk work or, was it something else? Was it something close to your heart?" Kaguya asked in a sweet tone as she floated and closed the distance between them, and stood behind him.
Feeling her hug his back as he stood behind the desk, Naruto realized what she was asking about.
Hokage work wasn't especially since he had to watch over the whole world. He had to look at the technological advances, medical, educational and other system. He had to insure everything was being properly implemented.
Under him were many people that took care of these tasks but he to go through them as well. He had to listen to any new idea before it got implemented.
He had to see that people were doing their jobs at all levels as even one level become corrupt could cause massive problems.
But he wasn't some normal human anymore. Naruto could go without any rest and food as his body recovered and filled up using the nature energy of the Universe.
His body had permanently entered Six Paths mode once the Otsutsuki DNA had been activated inside his body, making such a thing reality.
So Kaguya was on the mark, Naruto's issue wasn't the work but family issues.
"You are already aware of it, it's Boruto and Benimaru. I don't know how to help Boruto overcome his problem and that kid Benimaru needs some spanking again. Why are they so naughty? Why can't they be like the girls?" Naruto muttered with a chuckle as he pressed his hand on to his face.
Kids were not easy to manage and all of them were difficult especially Boruto, Benimaru and Asura.
"I am aware but you already know that you can only do your best like always." Kaguya replied as she kissed his hand after turning him around.
He was the man she had truly fallen in love with. He had shown her emotions that she had never felt in life.
He had made all the darkness disappear and made her complete.
It was an issue that there were others around him but she endured it. She knew she wasn't the original choice and he was acting like the proper leader, avoiding leaving problems that could become worse over time.
With time they had also become like family, more important than anyone before them.
"I wish I could just punch away my problems like before, why was life so complicated. So, have you come to pass time with me or there is something?" Naruto was half serious and half kidding as it was his way of letting out some stress from work. It was bad for the health to accumulate negative thoughts.
Looking at his curious blue eyes filled with an immortal spirit, Kaguya embraced him to feel his warmth.
"I just wanted to spend time with you since I was free." Kaguya replied with a sweet and regal tone. Just like Naruto, every one of his wives had their own things.
He could finish up his job whenever he wanted with his insane speed or using the clones but this was his dream job so he spent some time with it while also allowing his wives to live their lives. They were very close, closer than any other couple but they weren't always stuck to each other.
Hinata was the closest to him as she was his secretary. It was her dream to stand by his side after the purification of the Hyuga clan so he accepted her request.
She was excellent at his job and helped him manage things that might slip his mind along with Shikamaru.
"Aww, that was so sweet. Let's go on a date." Naruto produced a shadow clone with a thought to take his place and walked away with Kaguya to have date.
It wasn't a rare thing as he always made time to spend time with his wives alone and together.

This is most likely my final Naruto story. I won't write any new Naruto story after this and will just finish up the old ones. This story will focus on the Boruto era in a realistic manner and cut away the nonsense.
If you have seen Boruto you know that it takes a childish look at reality. Naruto doesn't act like a leader and is treated like a retard. It shows that the writer has no idea of reality.
There is also Naruto and Boruto conflict. It can happen and I am using it but how they did it, is nonsense. Kishi self inserted into Naruto and showed us his family problems, i am not kidding.
Sasuke and his chakra problem.
Children being in places and mission where they have no right to be.
Cartoonish events.
Power up out of the ass like Baryon method, instead of building it up.
Trash fights that make them look weaker than genins. The chunin exam fights were better than what we get in Boruto manga. The anime seems to be fixing that problem but it still ignores reality.
Ignoring things that had been established because it is easier to write without changing the characters too much. I am talking about strong characters learning other skills.
I will try my best to make a proper story. It will cover Naruto and Boruto. The adult side and the children side of things.
