Soul Society East (Landing Beach A)
***Landing Ship 232***
The soldiers of the stürmarmee had already entered the amphibious transports and all that was left was to lock the roof doors as the space was too narrow to use the rear ramp as the vehicles were packed extremly tightly inside the ships, the roof doors would be closed when the transports were ready to deploy at a set phase.
As for now the soldiers waited and waited, they kept hearing the voice over the speaker from the bridge, though many paid it no heed and focused on their own thoughts, some rehearsed the landing in their heads, some spoke and others just watched the ceiling in just on top of the bay door where the number 232 was written.
The gunners on the amphibious transports were checking their shield plates and ensured that their MGs were ready for action, they had kept the reishi bullets from the manifestation drum in the MG but they they haven't pulled the loading lever, so there wasn't any reishi bullets in them and the MGs weren't ready to fire, as they didn't want a mishap inside the ship.
They all hoped that the combined strategic bombing run aswell as the continous bombardment from the cruisers had destroyed the defences but such a wish was definitely a long shot even for them because there was always bound to be some resistance, they could only hope that it was a bare minimum and that the bombardment had killed the majority of the fullbringers.
The stürmarmee would unload first, then the regulars would follow from both the Gotei and the Quincy army, this was to rapidly clear a path and storm the defences that remained as quickly as possible in an attempt to minimize allied casualties, however if resistance was stiff, then it was vital that the stürmarmee does not get pinned or bogged down on the beaches, that had to be avoided at all costs so a maximum use of Hirenkyaku was definitely called for.
By now the wingmen had already conducted their strike runs and some were left behind to ensure air supremacy as they feared that the Dominion would scramble air units to intercept, the rest however had already flown further inwards and begun conducting airstrikes on the inner defences to clear as much of a path as possible for the airships and the bombers should they ever be called upon again, something that was highly likely.
Of course those wingmen flew over the fleet and was currently on standby, if no Dominion air units showed or they haven't arrived yet they would focus their attention on the Dominion defences, earlier reports from the ship speaker indicated that some defences was still active, so there would without a doubt be a battle to take out these defences.
Out of the blue a horn alert was heard with the same sound as a klaxxon alarm, although a manual one that blew once before the speaker spoke again.
"60 seconds!" The speaker said as the vehicles turned on their ignition.
The stormtroopers prepared themselves and checked their equipment once, they checked their weapons and other pieces of equipment before rechecking their position in the transport in case they needed to bail out in case of an emergency like they were hit or sinking, they also checked the locations of the emergency levers, aswell as a soldier moved a safety lid and pushed a button which then turned on a red light over the emergency levers with the words Armed on it followed by three beeps inside the vehicle, which signified that the charges that was intended to blow open the doors once the lever to the rear ramp of roof doors were pulled.
"45 seconds!" The speaker said as the transports started their engines.
The stormtroopers began to find positions to hold fast as the drop was quite steep, and there was a high possibility of a very rocky ride if some artillery emplacements were still active.
"30 seconds!" The speaker said as the transports closed the roof doors.
The front MG crews on both sides of the transports pulled the lever and loaded their MGs for combat, they lowered the platform they were standing on to make them harder to hit and to ensure that they were properly protected against enemy attacks from the top.
"15 Seconds." The speaker said as the transports turned off the handbrakes and was put in gear, the bay doors also opened by this time and the drivers shut their hatches and locked them, a ramp from the ship was also going downwards to the water to allow for easier exit for the transports so they didn't have to jump out and hope for the best.
The transports were of automatic transmission and they also ensured that the propellers would turn with the transports, the steering wasn't two levers but rather an easier concept as the steering was similar to bicycle steering, with lots of buttons on it, the whole engine could be controlled from there, including gears and so on, the propellers used a speed boat principle and could be activated by two switches on the panel attached to the steering.
The pedals to the feet controlled the tracks, but the handles on the steering where you rested your hands were to the propellers, the right handle controlled the right propeller and the left handle controlled the left propeller, the handles could go forwards or backwards, depending on how you want the propeller to move, this allowed for independent movement of the propeller and rapid turning on water by using the propellers to turn by using a counter force principle aswell as the steering to turn the propellers.
"All green, good luck!" The speaker said, which was heard due to the hatch being open to the MGs.
The first wave of transports began to move out, it didn't take long for them to hit the water with a massive splash as the speed picked up as they went down the ramp, causing some water to enter the transport but that wasn't anything severe and was expected, it was capable of pumping out small quantities of water after all as it was built for this, the water would go through an inbuilt pipe system and exit through the vehicles biggest weak point, namely underneath it.
Transport after transport drove out of the ships, all was quiet except for the splashes and the engines heard as they moved across the waters to reach the shore, the waves weren't noticable on the ship due to it's size, but it was definitely noticable in the transports as they went from side to side on all ends, it took about a couple of minutes before the Dominion decided to join in on the party as they opened fire with everything they had as soon as the transports got close enough.
The rays of the Dominion artillery was still annoying as they still fired six rays per round, then there was still a bunch of crystal MGs that they hadn't noticed before that fired upon them, the drivers also warned the stormtroopers about traps ahead that was trying to block the transports aswell as objects that looked like they blocked infantry movement, almost like a wall barrier that needed to be breached somehow.
Regardless this was going to be a tough one as the stormtroopers realized that this wasn't just a walk in the park, of course the cruisers were nice enough to immediately return fire by back tracing the rays, for now the cruisers focused mostly on the artillery which was the most problematic as two vehicles just got hit, the first one was completely decimated as a lucky shot hit one of the gunners, causing the explosion to go through the hatch and blowing up the transport from the inside.
The second one was a lot more luckier as it hit the hull, causing damage so severe it sank but the soldiers inside pulled the emergency levers and the top entry didn't just blow open but it actually blew off, allowing the soldiers to jump out into the water which regretfully was freezing and their clothing didn't really protect them against freezing water.
Of course their heavy clothing was also a slight problem but it was manageable, after all the chainmail inside the uniforms was a bit heavy and not exactly water friendly in terms of swimming as the soldiers would get exhausted faster compared to lighter clothing, but atleast they managed to swim and stay above the water.
The gunners on the transports had also returned fire, firing at the source of the rays by backtracing the rays to the source, allowing them to find the crystal MG positions with ease, although the problem was that the large amount of reishi bullets were also tracable back to the respective vehicle so it was in the end a shootout between gunners, the thick terrain and defences protected the Dominion gunners and the shields protected the Quincy gunners so no one really got anywhere.
Eventually several transports decided to open up their top doors, as the soldiers inside had used their wrist crosses to create reishi bows and arrows, they didn't know where their targets were but they decided to try and fire a licht regen blindly into the sky, hoping to atleast hit something other then water.
As the madness of explosions, rays and reishi flew everywhere, no one really knowing where it all came from in the end as the amount became excessive and it was starting to get really difficult to backtrace to it's source on both sides, the transports were approaching the beach and those with the roof doors open decided to close them to protect the infantry inside as they would exit through the rear ramp, that would shield them against the Dominion gunners until they ran out.
If anyone was feeling sporty then now was definitely the time, although the stormtroopers would use Hirenkyaku to evade the Dominion defences in an attempt to storm the enemy defences, they would still have a hard time breaching them at this rate, if anything, many of them thought that now was the perfect time to bring out a captain level fighter, despite the fact that the Stürmarmee was already an elite unit.
The first transports hit the beach as the tracks had hit land, and now they were driving as far up it as possible, but there were a lot of obstacles in their way, ensuring that the transports were limited in how they could maneouver and how close they could get with the troops.
They got as close as they could before they fired a reiatsu hiding smoke screen to hide the reiatsu of the soldiers and to hide them from view, the smoke canisters were fired at an angle of 60 degrees forwards and exploded mid air, covering a large ground with smoke.
The ramp dropped and the stormtroopers rushed out of the transports, the Dominion gunners were at this time just firing blindly as they were unable to see the Quincy stormtroopers due to the smoke, and to add to the difficulty of hitting them they had just begun to flash around, moving upwards with rapid pace towards the wall barrier the Dominion had placed.
Of course some of the gunners got lucky while firing blindly into the smoke, either hitting several stormtroopers as they moved to the side of the transports and got ready to use Hirenkyaku to get upwards as quickly as possible, or some stormtroopers just got unlucky as they were about to take another step with Hirenkyaku and got hit that way.
As the stormtroopers got closer to the barrier, they sought to use it for cover, as it was a two way barrier, but they quickly realized that they had a problem, as they didn't know how to dispel the barrier on their end as they hadn't received paladin training, but they did see that there was rods maintaining the barrier a bit further away on the opposite side of the barrier.
It was just close enough to ensure that their fleet couldn't hit it with their guns, so they had to rely on the wingmen or airships for this part, as a radio operator called requested a strike.
The wingmen were faster and closer and was able to strike with more accuracy then the airships so it was only natural for them to take on this job, compared to the massive guns underneath the wings of the airships which would decimate not only the barrier rods but also the stormtroopers nearby, if anything the airships had already opened fire on the defensive emplacements to minimize casualties on their end.
The strike came and a wingman conducted a tactical strike by utilizing crosses to manifest bomb balls and blew a breach in the barrier at two points, namely the east and west entrance, of course the center part and the outer most part of the barrier was still intact.
Of course they came closer to the first line of defences, a turn arrived and then another problem revealed itself just behind it, a problem they didn't see before because of the trees blocking it from view followed by a rock formation that functioned as a natural defence, as a large gate was noticed there, the gate was just too big to climb over naturally and they did not have their climbing gear attached, which was a major problem.
The reason this was a problem was because the stürmarmee did not possess any engineers naturally, so they had to rely on the air units once again to blow open the gate, but the air units had never noticed the gate as it was hidden within the trees so it was very difficult for them to target and notice.
They decided to request support from the wingmen again to fly back to one of the ships and get an explosive charge from the engineers delievered to them to blow the gate open by brute force, they all knew that once that gate opened, it was a clear area and no more physical obstacles remained, they would engage Dominion troops and the regulars would then begin their landings as they moved inwards.
For now however the stormtroopers were forced to pull back while a couple of volunteers remained for the explosive charge, and it took about two minutes before the wingman just dropped the charge to the stormtroopers while flying by as there was no possibility of him landing as the wingman was under fire by crystal MGs, regardless the stormtroopers did catch it.
By now Dominion flyers had already scrambled and moved in to intercept, a combined unit of fullbring interceptors and gargoyles, the navy had already opened fire with their secondary guns as flak and their autoballistas, the same for the airships while the wingmen moved in for aerial combat, so the skies was a battlefield aswell, although small, it was quickly escalating.
The soldiers took the charge and removed the paper and stuck it to the gate as the glue did it's job before turning the pin and pulling it out as the fizzle and blue sparkles was heard accompanied by the ticking of the 60 second timer, and the soldiers didn't hesitate to flash out of there as quickly as they could as they flashed back to their unit that had taken cover whereever they could find cover.
The moment it blew the gate was opened, the stormtroopers rushed through and just as they expected, they got a welcome party by Dominion utilizing their new staves, but upon closer inspection it was evident that the Dominion troops were multi purpose trained, as they carried both swords and staves for close and long range combat, clearly the Dominion weren't taking any more chances on melee fighters against the Quincies, they had clearly learned their lesson.
It was at this point that the inks from the west branch arrived to provide air support as the wingmen were now fully focused on obtaining air superiority, the inks needed to be kept safe from Dominion interceptors so the wingmen did what they could, accompanied by the autoballistas and flak from the airships.
Infested Forest
***Meanwhile***
While the Quincy stormtroopers stormed the beaches, and the paratroopers were securing the rear, accompanied by regulars and Gotei forces aswell as Onmitsukido for the paratroopers, all parties clearly expecting heavy resistance and braced themselves for one hell of a fight, another problem was occuring east of the assault force and west of the command structure, namely the infested line whom no one except the Dhahe tribe entered.
The Dhahe tribe had used their abilities to their utmost, unlike the Quincies they were more direct on, and boy were they fast, the Dhahe tribe were a tribe that was similar to Komamura, being a combination of beast and human, but they were also different from Komamura, as they did not possess the appearance of neither beast or human combined, but transformed between the two forms.
Compared to Komamura who was practically a former humanoid dog and his tribe also possessed the same attribute, that was a massive difference in itself, the Dhahe tribe could transform between human and animal at will, but they could only transform into one animal, and the Dhahe tribe compromised of a few select animals.
They did have air units of course, but they possessed little capability of attacking or defending, if anything they functioned more as scouts, those who could transform into it was usually the scouts for the tribe as they transformed into the peregrine falcon, which was also known to be the fastest animal ever, followed by their offensive units which transformed into cheetahs on land which was the fastest land animal.
Cheetah transformations were very effective against the hellspawn as their running speed of 120 km/h or 70 mph, making them very fast, this allowed them to outrun and outmanouver the hellspawn easily, and their fangs and claws were strong enough to pierce the hellspawns hardened skin or exoskeleton depending on the species, although some was able to utilize Shunpo whilst in beast form, which increased their speed and attacks dramatically.
Their cheetah units were also well known to sneak and stealth attacks, as it was an instinct they possessed as they were born with human and animalistic instincts, which was very effective for hunting prey and so on, or just tracking something, so in short, the ground units of the Dhahe tribe was extremly deadly, even the Wandenreich had to admit that the Dhahe tribe was not to be underestimated.
As for the waters, they utilized people who could transform into a sailfish, which was renown for having a spear like nose, and could swim extremly fast, reports indicated about 60 mph, or about 100 km/h, which was extremly fast as they could even outswim the fastest of the Quincy naval warships.
The Wandenreich had to acknowledge that if a war somehow if ever broke out between them and the Dhahe tribe, the chance was that they might either win or lose, despite the Dhahe tribe being weak, but it all varied on the terrain, the Dhahe tribe had the advantage in forests and areas covered with grass, however in the open it was different story, but a war with the Dhahe tribe would without a doubt be too costly for the Wandenreich if you look at it theoretically, in short, the Wandenreich had a high chance of losing a war with the Dhahe tribe on the ground, but if they fight with air power then that's a whole different story.
But of course that is just hypothetical, the Wandenreich had no intention of starting a war with one of it's allies, if anything Ichigo prefered to avoid another conflict for a while for now, as it was at this point clear that the entire spiritual world was at war, effectively it can be considered the first spiritual world war at this point as every spiritual nation was in a state of open conflict against each other, Hueco Mundo, the opposite world, which sometimes were called the mirror world by some as it was starting to look more like that to a certain degree, the Soul Society by both branches, Dhahe tribe and the Wandenreich.
Additionally, the mirror world, or the fullbring world or the mirror world, the true name hasn't been decided by anyone yet and it was just called whatever they wanted to call it, was also of two branches, one which was the continent of America, and one of Europe, Asia and Eurasia, namely east and west there aswell, and currently the allied forces were at a state of open conflict against the east branch, whilst the west branch has not yet been seen but reports from Inoue says that they are active in the world of the living to a certain extent.
They themselves have attacked Dominion troops, and additionally Dominion allies have also been reported in the world of the living engaging the west mirror world, although it was only small skirmishes but it clearly showed that a state of open conflict existed between the two, evidently there was some ideological differences and beliefs aswell as some bad history between them according to Inoue.
And while the west mirror world could be seen as a potential ally, the odds of an alliance with the Wandenreich and the west mirror world was extremly unlikely, the same could possibly be said for the Dhahe tribe and the Soul Society aswell, atleast the east branch, the west branch was another story.
The reason was that the ideological and political difference was so immense that an alliance between the west mirror world and the Wandenreich would most likely be on paper only, meaning it would be a very turbulent alliance full of problems that just wasn't worth it, if it were to be described, the Quincies and the west mirror worlds fullbringers could act nicely in public, but if left alone in a room for about 10 seconds then only one would come out alive.
Even if an alliance with them wasn't as turbulent, Ichigo knew for a fact that it would be one of extreme distrust until it ended with who stabbed the other in the back first and then that alliance would most likely end up in another full blown war the moment one side takes their eyes of the other, and Ichigo knew that the probability for something like that happening, was at an astonishing 93 percent, so no, just not worth it.
The ideological and political difference was in terms of monarchies, power, authority and governance, as the west mirror world despised monarchies and royalists, and seeing as the majority of Quincies are royalists, it was a major problem, of course they probably had their reasons, not that the Wandenreich really cared anything about that.
Anyways the Ichigo had already issued an order to not engage the west mirror worlds forces, as he did not want to open up another front, he was already fighting in the world of the living with paladins and soldiers in the Soul Society, and he just closed two fronts aswell, namely Hueco Mundo and the west branch, something he was grateful for, otherwise he'd be facing a four front war, potentially five front war if the west mirror world goes into open conflict.
Despite the fact that the centeral front, which was the world of the living was the place for skirmishes for the time being, it was still a fairly quiet front as was evident as every skirmish had been classified as a natural disaster or an accident the could not be explained in the world of the living, so it wasn't that intense, the problem was the eastern front which was already getting very bloody.
Regardless, the Dhahe tribe had engaged the hellspawn all night, and they had already done a decent number on the forests borders, but they their luck had just run out, as they had managed to grab the attention of what seemed to be a horde of hellspawn which was rapidly closing in, their strategies and tactics worked best on single individuals, but not an entire horde.
They had already dispatched a messanger who was capable of transforming into a falcon to fly to the Quincy lines at full speed to alert the Quincy defenders of the retreat, hopeful that when they get to the line, the Quincies were ready for combat in case they were followed, which was likely but not guaranteed, the messanger had departed about 48 minutes earlier before the retreat order was given to buy the Quincies some time to prepare.
Eastern Line
The Eastern Line as it was called was the major defensive line between the infested forest and Fort Cardinal, it was the only defense between the infested forest and Fort Cardinal capable of defending against the hellspawn.
Aizen was standing there close to the trenches, looking out over the field at the border of the infested forest, he looked genuinely concerned as he knew how much of a threat the hellspawn actually was, and his concern was only amplified by a messanger that arrived earlier from the Dhahe tribe, and the news the messanger brought was extremly grim.
It was rare for Aizen to be so concerned unless he knew that the situation was dire, for if the hellspawn broke through, then there would be nothing between them and command, so this line needed to be held at all costs, no matter what.
Aizen had already given the order to man the defenses and form a line, infantry with either a panzershrecks and rifles aswell as bowmen behind them to fire licht regen was standing inside the trenches, forming a line, MG emplacement, autoballistas and howitzers were aimed directly at the treeline, reishi razor wires were put up along with traps and mine fields for as far as the eye can see.
Aizen took a peek behind him where he saw several tents, due to the lack of buildings, tents had been utilized as they didn't want the headquarters directly in the combat zone, and whilst the command tent wasn't as big and extravagant as Ichigo's it was still a decent size, though there were several tents.
Aizen's personal tent was a single pole pavilion attached to a two pole pavilion tent that was the command tent, that was attached by a shed tent that connected the two utilizing an additional entrance as the tent system was built to be attached, Aizen's personal tent was essentially his office and bedroom at the same time.
Additionally they also had large medical tents close by with medics and doctors if needed accompanied by a shed tent seperated by the tent system to function as a supply tent with crosses, food, medical necessities and so forth, and there was an additional shed tent that functioned as the generator tent that provided electricity and heating to the entire tent system so that they didn't freeze.
They also had a canteen tent with chefs for the medical staff and those who worked at the tent system, the soldiers manifested their own field tents which was a lot smaller but they could sleep in them, as the tent system did have a military guard unit attached to it for obvious reasons.
Aizen looked back at the command tent as he awaited a response, as he had just sent a written message to Fort Cardinal just prior, specifically to Bambietta directly as Aizen was not about to ask for any favors from those of lower rank then himself, and Bambietta was the one actually in charge as Ichigo was nothing else but a supervisor at this stage, but as no one came out he put his focus back on the treeline to the infested forest.
Eastern Command
The message had arrived alright... Bambietta was reading the report over and over again before pinching her nose in a great deal of annoyment and anger, Ichigo however was over speaking with Kyoraku and Ukitake, it was Yamamoto that noticed that something was off.
"You seem trouble young girl?" Yamamoto asked as he noticed Bambietta's behavior, which caught the attention of Ichigo, Ukitake and Kyoraku.
"How can I not be?... We have a major assault going on and Aizen in his wise and ingenious mind filled with holy plans of getting ass kicked by Ichi after becoming a false god, is asking for the entire military..." Bambietta said clearly annoyed.
"What do you mean?" Ichigo asked curiously as he looked at her with his usual scowl.
"Read this..." Bambietta said as she sent the paper sliding across the table, causing the four to read it.
To: The empress Bambietta Basterbine Stratburg.
Due to reports of the hellspawn threat being increasingly greater then originally anticipated accompanied by the fact that the Dhahe tribe is on the retreat, the eastern line has, as instructed assumed a battle ready condition. Due to major turn of events the force currently defending the line might not be sufficient for a prolonged battle accompanied by the current state of our supplies, hence I advice and request an immediate reprioritization of military resource allocation in the following fields.
1. The increase of supplies moved from Fort Cardinal to the eastern line with a major increase on focus in terms of food, drinkable water, medical supplies and crosses.
2. The activiation of reserve units from the Wandenreich directly and the movement of said reserve units to the rear defensive line to have an effective and quick response on reinforcing key points in the line.
3. The utilization of air resupply operations to resupply the eastern line at short notice.
4. The movement of several armored divisions from the Wandenreich directly to the front lines of the eastern line, preferably half tracks with manifested howitzers.
5. An increase in medical personnel and medical tents for injured soldiers.
6. The movement of wingmen and airships from the Wandenreich under my direct command and attached to the eastern line.
7. The immediate prioritization of the railroad system to be focused entirely on the eastern line until it's completion.
8. The movement of several railguns from the Wandenreich to the eastern line upon the completion of the railroad system.
Commander of the eastern line, Aizen Souske.
This of course caused Ichigo to frown with confusion as he was no longer having any idea what was actually going on, where there really that many hellspawn there? If anything this needed to be followed up on.
"Hmm... I will personally go to the eastern line and check on the situation." Ichigo said as he stood up and moved to put on his cloak.
"It will take you hours to get there by vehicle or horse..." Bambietta said.
"Your majesty, we have a helicopter at disposal in Silbern if needed, we can have it transfered here immediately and use it to fly you over there." A soldier said.
"Then get it here now!" Ichigo ordered sternly.
"Yes your majesty!" The soldier said as he saluted.
"Ichigo." Yhwach said as he got Ichigo's attention.
'What is it?' Ichigo asked internally.
"If the hellspawn is proving to be such a hastle then we should find alternate methods of destroying them." Yhwach said.
'We already are, captain level fighters can easily take them on but if there are too many and too few of us, we'll be screwed no matter what we do.' Ichigo said internally.
"Kingy, I think you should speak with... What was his name again?..." Zangetsu asked internally.
"Uriel has some knowledge you might want to know about... Uriel?" Yhwach said internally.
"Ah yes, that was his name." Zangetsu replied.
Uriel was the name of the being Ichigo faced in his office, the true god made by Ichigo's soul chain, the being that was bound and made by Ichigo actually and represented one of Ichigo's aspects, Uriel was named after the archangel Uriel in christian and hebrew religions, currently he was also known to be the guardian of the Schatten, also nicknamed the gatekeeper, as his job was to ensure that no unauthorized entered the empire as he had the ability to merge with shadows, allowing him to turn the schatten itself into his entire body, and he represented Ichigo's aspect of creation, which was potent to create defenses.
Although the aspect allowed Uriel to create objects and entities out of the blue, it was of course limited as he could only create objects that existed and complied with the laws of physics, though the laws of physics did have certain different laws in the spiritual world, regardless he was limited to that alone, but that did not mean that the ability wasn't powerful, as the capability to create anything out of the blue was extremly dangerous in and of itself.
"Hmm?.. Ahh yes it's my turn now... Anyways, as you might be unaware of, when the Wandenreich was made you let your imagination run wild subconsciously as the empire itself was forged in your image, you even created similar laws of physics identical to the ones in this realm and essentially connected the two realms despite making them independent from one another, but there is a minor difference as the laws if physics in the realm of the Wandenreich has additional paragraphs written into it compared to the realm you currently find yourself in." Uriel said as he joined in on the conversation utilizing a telepathic link to Ichigo.
'I don't follow? additional paragraphs?' Ichigo said internally.
"When you made the Wandenreich your imagination was subconsciously running wild, despite you not noticing it, long story short, when you made the Wandenreich, you made objects that by their very nature, defied the very laws of physics and cannot possibly exist with the current laws of physics." Uriel stated.
'That's impossible...' Ichigo said internally in disbelief.
"Not exactly Ichigo, the powers of primordial gods are immense, especially their aspects, as their aspects can go so far as to defy reality itself, hence why primordial gods are so feared." Yhwach stated.
'Are you serious?' Ichigo asked internally nearly stunned.
"Very much so, hmm... If anything nobody truly knows about this except for us, but to counter the problem, two additional laws were written in the laws of physics to allow this world to exist:
1. The existance of a parallell world where objects that defy the laws of physics can exist aswell as other matter that defies additional laws required for the existance of a world.
2. The parallell world cannot under any circumstances interfere with the real world.
And it is mostly because of the second one that this world has gone unnoticed for so long, as the Fake Wandenreich as I call it, cannot interfere with the Real Wandenreich, the world where you live." Uriel stated.
"So in short, it's almost the same principle as the Wandenreich when it was hidden underneath the Soul Society?" Zangetsu asked, getting very curious himself.
"Ehm... No... Not even by a long shot, as the Wandenreich still followed the laws of physics in the Soul Society at the time, this world however is far different, I haven't been there but all theories points to the fact that this world would not even be similar to the Wandenreich at all, if my hunch is correct, you won't even recognize it or believe it is even a world." Uriel stated.
"Is it really that different?" Yhwach asked curiously.
"Can't say for certainty but I am confident it is." Uriel stated.
'So how do we get there?' Ichigo asked
"Normally it's impossible." Uriel stated, causing Zangetsu to fall in disbelief and Yhwach had the biggest you're kidding me right now face ever seen.
The entire command room of eastern command looked at Ichigo as he just facepalmed with a slap so big it was heard all across the room.
"Ichi... Are you alright?" Bambietta asked.
"Yeah... I'm fine..." Ichigo said clearly annoyed, leaving Bambietta to sweatdrop.
"If it's any consolation, I said normally." Uriel said, amused at the sight.
'So I assume you know of a method?' Ichigo asked internally.
"Yes, there are two methods of entering it, the first one is that the fake Wandenreich grows a crystal that cannot exist due to the power it possesses, therefore it is only grown in that world, the universal laws allows the transferance of matter from one world to another despite breaking fundemental rules like the laws of physics, it just cannot grow there or be made there is all but as this crystal defies the laws of the realm it cannot exist inside the true Wandenreich so that's a no go unless we go get one." Uriel stated.
"A crystal?" Yhwach asked.
"Yes, I sensed it briefly when I was born, this was the first few seconds before I was forced asleep, but I am not really sure how it works." Uriel stated.
'No matter, Kisuke and Erwig might figure something out, so what is the second method?' Ichigo asked curiously.
"The world uses Silbern tower as it's core, using it's power to exist, as I imagine that the damage caused by all those violated laws that make up reality would have without a doubt damaged the world severly or twisted it to near destruction, this is only a hunch but I imagine that the world is barely clinging to life, using Silbern as it's last source of life force just to survive, regardless the requirements are an excessive amount of reishi, which the tower produces, you need to be at the worlds core, which is the tower, and you need the powers of a primordial god capable of destroying the border between the real and fake Wandenreich, namely your aspect of destruction." Uriel stated.
"So it's that easy?" Zangetsu asked.
"But wouldn't that mean that everytime Ichigo would focus his powers into us that he would cut through the realm itself?" Yhwach asked, leaving Ichigo surprised.
"Both yes and no, the world can only be accessed through it's entry point, namely Silbern tower as it is the only point in existance where that world is accessible through this method, even if his majesty were to use his aspect of destruction in the tower then the regenerative process of the border would be so quick that no abilities or anything would be able to pass by it, no one would even notice it, so in order to keep the rift open, his majesty would need to use his aspect of destruction on a boundry field made by reishi to stop the regenerative process." Uriel stated.
"Hmm... That makes sense." Yhwach said.
'Alright, let's find this world after this trip, Uriel, inform Kisuke and Erwig, I'll be taking those two with me.' Ichigo said internally as he stood up.
"At once your majesty." Uriel stated.
Ichigo was now fully focused back on the command center, wondering what took so long.
"What's the status on that helicopter?" Ichigo asked.
"It just arrived your majesty!" A soldier said.
"Good, let's go!" Ichigo said as he left the command room.
As soon as Ichigo arrived at the eastern line it didn't take him too long to figure out that the situation was far worse then ever imagined, so when Ichigo returned to the Wandenreich later he delayed the trip to the other world as he had to mobilize a large amount of troops to be sent out immediately, accompanied by thousands of tons of supplies that was ordered up to arrive over time.
This of course annoyed Erwig and Kisuke who was anxious at seeing this new world, and of course this news had reached Masaki and Isshin who decided to join in, wanting to see something new, if anything it was a wonder how Kisuke didn't tie Ichigo down and force him to open the path.
Of course the existance of this world was kept a secret for now, as the last thing Ichigo wanted was for everyone to learn of this new world, after all it was the property of the crown so it was Ichigo's right, Kisuke speculated that this world essentially violated the very laws of physics, nature and spacetime, aswell as any other laws of existance, so no one could actually blame him for being overzealous in terms of seeing this world.
Of course matter could be transfered from the fake Wandenreich to the real one and other worlds despite the objects violating the laws of existance, as there was never any law saying that matter from other worlds cannot be moved to the other world regardless of differences, but it would seem fairly odd compared to what people were used to.
And this made Kisuke very happy, because Kisuke knew that if he got something extraordinary there, he was granted specific permission by Ichigo to rub it in Mayuri's face as long as he didn't reveal the existance of the world, now this was something Ichigo secretly looked forwards to, and even better, Ichigo refused to allow Kisuke to share it with Mayuri, of course Ichigo did that just to be a complete jerk for once, but it was Mayuri so who cares?
To be continued
A/N: The world mentioned here has been planned for a long time, but I never got to introduce it, originally it was supposed to be put in during chapter 58 in accordance with the scrapped prewritten chapter I have until I rewrote it as it didn't make any sense at the time, but I managed to find a perfect opportunity here to just squeeze it in, so that's a major relief of my shoulders.
And yes I like being a prick towards Mayuri, it is so much fun, and Ichigo agrees.
