Hope Mikaelson has never had an "easy" life, yet up until two days ago she wouldn't have traded it for anything. That was of course because she had her family Always and Forever. That's what they said to each other, except that her forever died with her mother, father, and uncle Elijah. Now she doesn't know what to do next, and if she ever figured that out what to do after that. The rest of the family did know what to do next though, it would actually be doing it that they are finding it tricky. Niklaus had contacted an old friend of his in England a few days before he died asking the man for a favor. Headmaster Albus Dumbledore had quickly responded recognizing the time restraints on such a decision and agreed right away. From that day forward Hope Marshall had a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Mikaelson Clan now had to inform their little orphaned niece of her move before the new term started. They have a week to tell her to get all the supplies they could and get her to England. Dumbledore Sent a letter to Freya telling her that all of Hope's school supplies would be taken care of on their end. All she needed was a wand (though she didn't need it having one helped her fit in better), a uniform (which she could get upon arrival to London), and any personal things plus some regular clothes. Freya, Kol and Davina had been elected to inform hope of this new change. They found her in her dad's art studio painting.

"Hey hope can we talk for a second?" (F)

"Ya, auntie Freya, what's up?" (H)

"Hope I got a letter yesterday from an old friend of your dads he had contacted a few days ago. You see Hope you dad thought that after everything you might want an escape. This friend runs a school in Scotland for young witches and he has offered you the chance to attend. Now the choice is completely up to you, and you could always return to Salvatore school if you wish. But if you do want to go then the decision has to be made sooner rather than later. Their school year starts in a week." (F)

"Sweetie, whatever you decide we will support, and if you do go but don't want to go alone some of us and go with you." (K)

They all watch her for a few minutes. A paint brush still in her hand. She seems to really be contemplating all her options. No one really knew what she was gonna decide, she had always been an anomaly, to both the universe, and to the family. Finally she seemed to come to some sort of decision in her head, but she quickly turns to Davina, clearly asking the girl for her opinion,

"Hope i think no matter where you go you will be special. But England may be a fresh start you never had. Even at the Salvatore school people knew who you were and knew their family really well. The Mikalesons have not interacted with and magical community in England in a very long time and even then from i have been told it was pretty amicable. I think you should take the chance when you have it. And just like Kol said we will support you no matter the choice and we will always be there for you." (D)

Finally speaking up. "I think I wanna go. Davina's right this is my first time with a chance at a complete fresh start. But Kol you had a good point. We all just got back together after everything. I don't know if I can leave all of you. But I also don't want you guys to uproot your lives for me." (H)

"We can figure all that out later. I'm sure many people would be happy to go with you. Hope are you absolutely sure about this?" (F)

"Yes. Plus I've never been to England so it could be fun. What kind of school is it exactly?" (H)

"It's called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Their magic is a little different then what you're used to. To use magic they have wands. You will have to get one. You won't actually need to use your magic but to do the things they teach it will be easier to learn it though wand first then transfer it after. It'll also be easier to blend in if you have a wand. Wandless magic there is extremely rare and you'll stick out like a sore thumb." (D)

"That's actually kind of cool. Where can I get a wand? When exactly do they start? When should I be in England?" (H)

"Woh woh slow down. Why don't we have a family meeting when Marcel and Rebekah get back tomorrow and we can decide who's going and where and put together a schedule for everything. It's been a long few days and this week will be very busy getting ready. Hope why don't we call it a day?"

"Fine, fine I'll head to bed. See you guys in the morning."

With that they all headed off to their respective rooms for the night.

The following day.

Hope woke up with a small sense of well hope, for the first time in a while. Of course when she thought about her parents and Elijah it saddened a little but knowing she had something to look forward to was good and she knew her family (all of them) would want her to continue living her life. So did that, she was up dressed and eating breakfast when Rebekah and Marcel returned just after 10 that morning. Once everyone had finished eating they cleaned up and started to discuss what to do next. Freya told Everyone missing from yesterday that Hope decided to go to Hogwarts. They were all very happy for her.

Then they moved onto Kol's suggestion of her not going fully alone. While they were all willing it was logistics that became a problem. Marcel was needed for at least a little while to help regain some form of normalcy for the city, and Davina was needed for that same reason. Freya could go but Keelin and her were starting a family they didn't want to separate for too long and Keelin. Though she loved Hope wanted to raise her son in New Orleans. Which Hope completely understood and was not even considering Freya for that exact reason. That left Rebekah and Kol. They both wanted to go but neither of their partners could go so it's a tricky decision. They decided to give that particular choice a few days to see if something could be figured out. They then moved onto the schedule for the week and who needed to get what done before she left. With that they dispersed starting their tasks.

Hope went upstairs to start going through her clothes and deciding what to pack. Not knowing the exact vacation schedule she packs for how she would normally this time of year in Virginia but slightly colder. Freya was in charge of all the paperwork. She went to her office to check on everyone's VISAs, and Hope's school records from Salvatore. She was also letting Alaric know about everything that had happened since the funeral and Hope's change of school. Davina Went out to see some of her coven about the possibility of her leaving for a while. It was rocky at first but it became easier when told she would be overseeing hopes education at a magic school in England. That seemed to peak everyone's interest. They made a plan for the coven while she would be away. Vincent had no problem helping out when needed. Which Davina was grateful for knowing he was originally planning on leaving. But he was willing to stay for her and Hope.

With everything coming together the family planned for Hope to leave three days before the start of term. That morning everyone woke up and Hope made sure all her stuff was packed properly and completely. With her stuff she headed down stairs, but she didn't see anyone elses bags. No one had told her who was going with, or even if anyone was. This made Hope very nervous, it was going to be very difficult for her with everyone so far away. Her family noticed the trepidation and decided to surprise once they got to the old family estate in Scotland with who would be staying and who would be coming back. They were all taking the initial trip together spending the three days shopping and helping Hope acclimate to British Magical Society. They all grab their small three day bags and head to the airport. (Davina and Kol's things had been shipped a few days ago to the estate as well as some more things for hope.)

After the long flight and a drive to the families new English home they start to set some things up. The kitchen is prepped for meals and the commons rooms downstairs are cleaned and rearranged. Hope, Davina, Marcel, and Keelin go upstairs to claim different rooms. There are three rooms on the second floor and two offices (one being the master). While the third floor had three bedrooms and a big office. Each room had a walk-in closet and a private bathroom. Hope was given and she chose the bedroom that was on the second floor next to the big office so she could use it as an art studio. While she started setting up her room and studio the others picked their rooms. Marcel and Rebekah are in another room on the third floor down the opposite hall from Hope. Davina/Kol get the master, and Freya/Keelin are in a room on the opposite hall under Hope's studio.

Back downstairs with the basics done, the family decides to cook dinner and head to bed knowing they will be meeting Dumbledore and a professor tomorrow to answer a few questions and get her things. After eating they all clean up and head to bed hoping for a productive day tomorrow.
