Subaru's Isekai Dream
Hey, this is my first time ever writing fanfiction let alone a lemon. I'm taking inspiration from The author named guyNumber23. He has a really cool story called Sweet cute green obsession which is a style of writing that I haven't seen anyone else do as well as they have, basically making a lemon with a good plot. Anyways I chose to write about Re:zero one of my favorite animes and series in general, I'll try to keep the characters as close to their original personalities as possible but they might differ to add more "spicy" situations. I will probably add characters from the light novels but I'll try to keep spoilers low. I do not own Re:zero or any of its characters, So please enjoy. Rated M
Natsuki Subaru was your average shut-in teenager.

He saved Emilia from Elsa.
He saved the village from Mabeasts.
He took down the White whale… alongside Crusch.
He defeated the Sin Archbishop of Sloth… Betelgeuse… once and for all.
But most importantly to him… he told Emilia… how he felt.
Things were looking up.
Finally.
Except for one thing.
Emilia… and Rem.
'I… was going to give away everything… for Rem. I'm glad… she gave me the strength to stay… and save Emilia.'
But… a feeling had filled his heart.
'I… love them both.'
The thought that haunted him since… the White whale.
He truly loved them both.
Emilia was his number one… but Rem… she held a special place in his heart as well.
'Rem's been a lot more happy since then. Even though… I rejected her… and gave her a false sense of hope that she could be my second wife…'
His eyes lowered at the table he sat at.
'Do I deserve to have either of them?'
[Rem] "Subaru-kun come drink with us!"
Currently, the members of the mansion were throwing a small party with the people of the village.
Despite the joy surrounding him… with Petra and all the kids dancing and having a good time… Subaru couldn't manage any happiness.
That's when he had a glass of wine in front of his face.
[Rem] "Subaru-kun, you're spacing out again."
Subaru jumped back into his seat, nearly falling over.
Luckily, he caught himself.
'Damn it. I need to be more careful.'
[Subaru] "Sorry, sorry! I was thinking."
[Rem] "Subaru-kun always seems to be thinking of other people."
He could almost hear a pout in her voice.
[Rem] "But, that's one of the things Rem likes about Subaru-kun!"
He noticed, finally, the glasses of wine in his face.
[Subaru] "Um, I don't think I can legally drink yet."
[Rem] "Of course you can, Subaru-kun. You and Rem are the same age, and Emilia-sama can as well!"
Rem enthusiastically insisted that Subaru and Emilia drink with her.
'How much has she drunk? She already looks a bit tipsy.'
He then looked at Emilia… the person he hoped to get him out of drinking.
She... already had an empty wine glass in her hands.
[Emilia] "Subaru, let's get drunk as a skunk!"
[Subaru] "Who even says drunk as a skunk?"
Subaru and Emilia… talked.
Subaru knew those moments were few and far between.
He would talk to her about alcohol, her powers, magic in general, and continued to talk… for hours.
But they didn't have that time.
On the other side of the table, Rem, pouring the drinks for them, was pouting from the lack of attention Subaru was giving her, but at the same time, she… was happy with Subaru being happy.
'Maybe Rem should talk with Subaru-kun and Emilia-sama about our relationship. But let's give him the alcohol first.'
[Rem] "Here, Subaru-kun."
After a short banter back and forth with Emilia, Rem interrupted them.
[Subaru} "I still don't think this is a good idea."
Then, he saw Rem's pout, along with Emilia's.
He… almost felt like he was being pressured.
'Ugh. I can't say no to these cute faces!'
[Subaru] "Ah, what the hell."
On impulse… he swallowed the entire glass of wine.
It made his throat burn, but it eventually resided, and filled his stomach.
[Emilia] "Oh wow, Subaru, you must be tough to be able to drink wine like that."
[Rem] "Wow, Subaru-kun, I didn't know you could drink like that, mostly because you always refused to."
Immediately, Subaru felt like he was on the brink of collapsing.
'Damn it. Damn my refusal to say no to Emilia-tan and Rem-san.'
Then… he felt light.
Only for a single second.
He… passed out on the table.
[Rem] "It seems like Subaru-kun can't hold his liquor."
She had to hold in a laugh.
[Emilia] "Yes, but alcohol is sooo tasty!"
Rem looked at Emilia… and her blushed cheeks.
[Rem] "Emilia-sama, are you already drunk?"
[Emilia] "No! I'm not yet… drunkkk. Rem-san, don't you think subaru's sleeping face is sooo cute?"

[Rem] "Yes, indeed it is. It's one of Rem's favorite things about Subaru-kun."
That, strangely enough, was enough to make Emilia pout.

[Rem] "Rem and Subaru are very good friends... and I confessed to him…"
Those last few words slipped out of Rem's lips.
[Emilia] "You confessed to Subaru? Like how he confessed to me?"
She nodded.
[Rem] "Hai, Rem doesn't mean to take Subaru away from Emilia-sama, but Rem… I… love subaru…"
That… shocked Emilia.
[Emilia] "Um, Rem-san… I don't know…"
A foreign feeling grasped her heart.
[Emilia] I don't think… Subaru likes you like that. I don't mean to speak for him… but he said he really loves me so…"
Subaru… wasn't asleep.
[Subaru] "i love bot- *hic* of you guys."
Emilia and Rem both looked at the still closed eyed Subaru.
He was absolutely shitfaced.
Which meant… he was telling the truth.
He had a stupid smile plastered across his sleeping face
His words struck something within the two woman
Emilia… and Rem… immediately sobered up.
'Could subaru love Rem too? I did leave them alone for a few days so its possible they developed a relationship but...he said, he loved me, i guess you can love multiple people.'
Emilia was naive with many things. She still didn't fully understand what Subaru's love meant.
This could have been a normal thing but she wouldn't know the difference.
Rem looked back at Emilia.
[Rem] "At first, when Rem confessed to Subaru, he had denied Rem, leaving me a bit sad inside."
Her expression fell a little bit.
But it quickly raised.
[Rem] But, after the subjugation of the white whale, Subaru told Rem he loved Rem back, and that I could be his second wife!"
Subaru… still shitfaced… looked at Emilia.
[Subaru] "hehe *hic* yeah, I did say that."
He began to rise
[Subaru] "I *hic* meant it, i love you both equally. Even if I don't deserve you two, or anyone… I love you both."

The villagers were confused.
They saw… the lovable strong Subaru… crumble in front of their eyes.
Rem… embraced his crying self.
He… was held close by the blue haired demon.
He cried into her in front of everyone's view.
Ram included.
[Ram] "Rem, Rem, what happened here? Why are you hugging that pitiful man?"

Ram saw a serious expression on Rem's face… so she silenced herself.

[Ram] "I see, take him to his room so he can be pitiful there. Roswaal-sama is the host, and Barusu shouldn't ruin the gathering. I'll handle the villagers."
In the corner of her eyes… Rem saw anger.
Hatred, even.
Towards who?
Rem knew.
But she ignored that… as she carried Subaru to his room.
Rem… was quiet the entire time, while Subaru continued to cry.
[Rem] "Subaru-kun, are you alright?"
He tried shaking her off.
Subaru hated how pitiful he looked, he nearly broke down in front of everyone...
[Subaru] "Not really, *hic* I think Emilia-tan hates me…"
She smiled… holding Subaru closer.
[Rem] "Rem doesn't think so, Subaru-kun. Rem thinks you just scared Emilia-sama… look there's your room."
Subaru tried releasing from her grip… but she didn't let go.
His legs… were wobbly as he walked towards his room.
So, she sat him on the bed... and sat right next to him.
[Subaru] "It's really cute to have someone carry me, but… you didn't have to, Rem."
He was trying to push her away.
Even though Subaru knew Rem was the one person he could be weak to, he didn't want her to see him like this.
She didn't move… or flinch.

Rem looked into his eyes.

[Rem] Rem wouldn't be scared.."

Subaru's mind… at first… blanked.
He didn't… know what to do.

'Was I too forceful? Did I force myself onto Rem?'

He… was scared.

Rem wore the brightest smile she could manage.

Whoa i actually did it, and i don't regret it, i've been wanting to make this kind of story for a while now but never had the courage to, i don't know how prevalent the Re:zero fan base is on this website but i hope anyone picks up this story and enjoys it, like i said i want to make a lemon with plot like guyNumber23 and i hope i can achieve that, i hope you've enjoyed my story and leave a review if you want, ill work on a part 2 soon to continue this story, Take care, tatoes out!
