Naruto looked upon Konohagakure no Sato with contempt. He hated what he felt but he couldn't help but feeling it, no matter how hard he tried or how kind he was everyone treated like he was a freak of nature. All he ever got were looks of hatred.
Looks so cold that sometimes he thought nothing could ever warm him up. whenever he tried to play with other children their parents would grab them pulling them away from him, ranting and raving how much of a monster he was and how they should never ever try to talk or even look at him again.
Not even paying attention how much those words affected him, how those words made his insides ach.
no matter where he walked, no matter how crowded the streets were he was always alone. sometimes it felt like he was surrounded by all sides by the villagers but they all had their backs to him and no matter how much he screamed or cried no one would turn their heads and look.
Things have gotten slightly better since he met old man Hokage; he no longer felt as alone,no longer as much as a monster-he wonders if this is what it feels like to have a family, a grandfather. Someone to love and to love you back...but he isn't sure, not yet- but he isn't there all the time,hardly ever. They talk maybe once or twice a week,from the way the old man describes his job and the huge stacks of paper he sees on his desk he's lucky they talk at all.
He's tried to pretend nothing's wrong,that the pain in chest isn't really there, he smiles and laughs and sometimes that's enough but other times like today pretending hurts more and so he sits upon the Hokage monument away from everyone and everything, looking out towards Konohagakure no Sato basking in the bright wonderful orange sky and feels a little bit better, a little less angry and the contempt melts away replaced with melancholy wondering if the sadness he feels will ever truly go away.
The kyuubi no Kitsune has been angry for a long time; around a thousand years give or take. for as long as he could remember he has been hated, vilified either for his appearance or for his strength and so like any other sentient creature he hated right back and decided if the world didn't want him then it wouldn't have him and it worked out for the most part until that Uchiha Madara came into his cave and used that god awful Sharingan that his father's son passed down.
He hated being controlled, he was one of the strongest creatures in existence and there he was being used as a fucking puppet. He hated that Uchiha and by extension every other Uchiha who possess those fucking eyes but in the end he hated Senju Hashirama and his wife Uzumaki Mito more. At least that red eyed bastard didn't pretend he was doing the right thing, but those two acted like there was no other choice but to seal him and to use him and his bothers and sisters like weapons,like they didn't have minds and lives of their own.
Being trapped, imprisoned inside a human who pretended like he was such burden and how heroic it was that she would live despite of him.
Being trapped within her... how he hated her with all of his being, how he hated humanity with all of his being.
Uzumaki Kushina was no better. she treated him as a prisoner and herself as the warden,what was his crime exactly?'Existing.' Those two liked to pretend they were heros and he was the villain they were protecting the world against. He was just an animal to them.
when he felt kushina was pregnant, he knew he had a chance to escape, to be free once more, the first time in a hundred years but as soon as the seal broke ,he was under a mind controlling genjustu,something he only been under once by another red eyed bastard and no matter how much he raged he couldn't break free.
When it finally did break and his mind was his own again, that red headed bitch Kushina had him chained up like a fucking animal once more and once he saw that yellow moron's hair leaning over that fucking baby he knew he was going to be sealed again and so he raged and pulled and pushed and finally broke free of his chains.
He was going to kill that infant, he was not going to be trapped again but before he could reach it, those two idiot's got in his way, holding him off and then suddenly half of his essence was ripped away from him, sealed inside the blonde idiot and the rest of him was sealed within the newborn child.
it's been five years since that day and the kyuubi's hate and angry has not dimmed in the slightest; that's the thing about immortal beings they can hold a grudge for a LONG time.
As time slowly ticked by and the orange sky become the dark blue of the night, Naruto decided it was time to head home.
Walking into his rundown apartment, Naruto tried to ignore his rumbling stomach having no eaten any food for the past two days having eaten all the food he bought already. As he changed into his pajamas he began to hear a growling.
For as long as Naruto could remember there has been a growling in the back of his head. Sometimes it was quiet as a whisper but other times like right now it encompassed his entire being.
whenever this happened Naruto tried to shut it out and Ignore it but he was so tired of ignoring his pain, pretending it didn't exist and hoping it would go away so instead he concentrated on it.
Naruto didn't know how long he had his eyes closed focusing on the animalistic growling he heard, but the longer he concentrated on it, the more pain he felt and fear started to constrict his heart.
'What if I really am a demon, a monster.' Naruto began to think trying incredibly hard to remain focused. 'What if I deserve everything the villagers do to me.' he continued his line of thinking but despite his growing fear he knew he needed to stay focus.
For as his life all he has ever done was ignore his problems. When the villagers pretended he didn't exist he would smile, when parents would drag their kids away from him he would play by himself, when some of the villagers would look at him with hateful and cold gazes he would laugh and run like it never happened in the fist place.
he was tired of doing that, tired of ignoring his problems, so right here and right now he would face this or die trying.
Naruto didn't know what happened. One moment he was sitting cross legged focusing on the growling and the next he was knee deep in sewage water.
Looking around he soon saw a gaint orange nine tailed bunny fox hybrid, looking at him and growling in what seemed to be pure blood lust.
"AGGGHHHHHH!!!!" The kyuubi quickly reached his paw like hand in between the bars trying to grab his container and kill him but was a few inches short from ripping him apart.
Naruto eyes flung opened in extreme fear and started to dry heave with tears steaming down his face.
"Oh my god...their right I am a monster." Naruro whispered to himself in self loathing, having all his worst fears realized.
"no,no,no,no,no. I can't be a monster...I don't feel like a monster...I have to go back, i have TO GO BACK." Naruto yelled to himself focusing inward once more and found himself back in front of the giant gates ignoring the monstrous roar of the creature in front of him and tried to think of why this...this beast was in inside of him.
"W..ha..t ar..e you?" Naruto stuttered to the gigantic monster in front of him.
but the fox bunny hybrid... thing ignored his question and continued growling and throwing himself against his cage like a mindless animal but Naruto was not easily detoured.
"WHAT ARE YOU?" Naruto yelled truly gaining the attention of demon.
kyuubi no Kitsune looked down upon his new container in anger and loathing. " CHILD I AM THE KYUUBI NO KITSUNE AND ONCE I KILL YOU I WILL BE FREE!!!" Naruto looked upon the fox and replayed his words in his head.
"your trapped in me?" he whispered in confusion looking down upon himself.
"Why??" he asked the The giant fox who was surprised the little brat had stopped shaking in fear.
"BECAUSE YOU HUMANS ARE GREEDY, LITTLE THINGS WHO DESIRES POWER MORE THEN ANYTHING!!!" The kyuubi awnsered the child in anger.
"is that why everybody hates me?" Naruto stated, the pieces of his life clearer then ever before and started to make alot more sense.
"but why me? why put you in me?" he question the fox again who's anger began to slighty despate and turn to annoyance at the young child who no longer bore the face of fear but more of resentment.
-it kinda mirrored his own alittle-
"YOU WERE THE CLOSEST THING AROUND!HE NEEDED A CONTAINER AND ONE QUICLKY AND SO HE USED HIS OWN SON!" The fox uttered in contemt, growling in remembrance of that day.
Naruto eyes grew in horror, so his father...who ever he was sealed this fox inside of him.
"why...did you need to be sealed in me?" Naruto questioned. The kyuubi no Kitsune snorted and the anger that Naruto could feel double making the air heavy.
"AFTER MY RELEASE FROM YOUR RED HAIRED BITCH OF A MOTHER I WAS FORCED TO WREAK HAVOC UPON YOUR VILLAGE BUT DID YOUR PARENTS CARE THAT I WAS INNOCENT NOOOO THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE THEIR WEAPON 'HMGH' I LEAST I GUTTED THEM LIKE THE FISH THEY WERE!" The kyuubi stated. Enjoying the look of horror on the young boy's face until the boy started to smile with tears streaming down his eyes.
Naruto didn't know what to think. he just received so much information; about himself about his family.
It was strange; his heart felt better and worse at the same time, Sure he was the host...for a giant nine tailed fox but now he knew why he was so isolated, why he was so hated, he knew he had a family... apparently not the best family but family neither the less.
"Thank you." Naruto stated looking up to the fox who shot him a surpised look.
"WHY ARE YOU THANKING ME HUMAN!?" the fox asked with disbelief,doubt and fury lacing his tone. "YOU HEARD ME SAYING I KILLED YOUR PARENTS RIGHT!?"
"yeah but from the way you were describing things you've been trapped for a very long time alone, isolated and hated... kinda like me ya know. why would you try to spare my parents who were trying to keep you that way, I...I understand." he said trying to keep the pain and heartache out of his vocie.
kyuubi no Kitsune looked at the little boy in surpise, For as long as he could remember humans could never understand."YOUR A STRANGE ONE BRAT."
"Naruto" he said. "WHAT!?" The kyuubi said in annoyance wondering why the brat called out a ramen topping.
"That's my name; Naruto." the child replied trying to smile and failing horribly.
"OH?" The kyuubi no Kitsune replied back a little confused which showed on his face apparently because the brat started to giggle at him which caused him to grow a tick mark.
"HEY SHIT STAIN WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME!!!!" He yelled in anger causing the boy to freeze up and look towards the ground which looked surprisingly devoid of water.
Naruto tried to smother his laugh. "well you...looked kinda cute with your head tilted like that."
The kyuubi no Kitsune balked at the accusation "I AM NOT CUTE! YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!"
After that Naruto couldn't hold back his laughter anymore and started to roll on the ground ignoring the growling coming from in front of him.
"Hey Mr.kyu..u..bee, um what's your name?" surpised the gigantic fox. No human has ever asked his name before.
staring at the wide eyed child who was staring right back at him unflinching, " YOU CAN CALL ME KURAMA." he replied with a little less hostility but more hestaince.
