SZ: Hoo we got a lot of reviews...but like in GSE: SS...again wanan state we're trying our best here people, so we apologize if the previous chapter felt rushed.

GT: Yeah, we've got a ton of projects both on fanfics and in real life, so it's a bit hard on us. We have our worlds picked and locked for this arc. We ask that you do not suggest any because they may or may not already be one of the worlds.

Z0: I said no suggestions...I mean it, we're not asking and we've already picked a good few. And we only use things we know in great to decent detail. So I'm sorry to many, but a few are suggesting franchises I just don't know of. And I really don't mean that in a bad way.

GT: Like Z0 said, we try to use things we know and are comfortable with using for the story. We appreciate you're all enthusiastic for this, but please respect our choices and decisions for this all.

SZ: Plus honestly...we were really excited for this arc.

Z0: Other then that, hope you enjoy.

GT: Aye, we do not own any franchises used for this current arc. They are owned by their respective creators/companies/etc. And please read GSE Side Stories in order to look in on the ones back in the home universe and what they're doing while the current arc is happening. SZ, care to do the honors? ...SZ? (looks around before paling upon looking up) Uh, Z0? I think SZ's one-upped us on something to destroy the place before cutting to the story.

SZ: *standing outside, a menacing aura around me while surrounded by the Ice Barrier dragons and Dewlorin*Trishula, Gungir, Brionac, Dewlorin...Absolute Zero Ice Age! *all four monsters began to charge up their ice based attacks as ice began to form around the area at a rapid pace*

Z0: Wah...you almost got me…*walks out of the ice*

"Well, this is indeed Tager's gauntlet," Sento noted as explosions were going off outside, standing in the backroom with Sari, Noel, and Lambda, the latter holding up the bulky metal gauntlet, "That thief is quite sneaky managing to sneak this here, let alone take it from him."

"Several parts of it were either snapped or shattered from the impact," Sari noted, kneeling down to the bulky gunmetal and gold bolt-shaped device with half of it crushed down like it had been a can that had been crushed by a compactor before taking her hand off it, "And I'd rather not repeat what it says about you, Mr. Kiryu. Honestly, I'm going to need to see if there's ingredients for a brain bleach back here."

"Oh what a naughty thing," Sento chuckled, "Well I have my work cut out for me! I'm going to need to totally replace the casing, which means I'll need some raw metal ore to refine...the internal parts should be salvageable. They are made of my super rubber afterall."

He paused to think, tapping his chin. Everyone blinked, swearing they actually saw formulas floating around him as he worked on math that...even to the smart ones among them, seemed insanely advanced.

The door to the shop opened with the bell going off as Ryuga entered, "Oi, we beat up those pig things and they all dissolved into smoke! Think the doc will want what they left behind to make smoothies from?"

"You wanted to see if they tasted like pork, didn't you?" Sento sighed.

"...you can't prove that…"

"I just did…" Sento sighed, "But yes samples...but not for eating! Don't eat random creatures!" he snapped, "Ah...too much for me to worry about...I can't fix this and take care of the idiots at the same time…"

"Good thing most of us with you are used to being the one who takes care of them," Sari noted.

"You don't know my idiots…" Sento sighed, pointing to Ryuga, "This one...is half cosmic alien...and by that, I mean he's like an anime character...He gets stronger and stronger the more he fights...He can take a dip in magma by now…"

"You're half alien? Like Max-san?" Noel asked, tilting her head.

"I'm not half alien!"

"Yes...you are…" Sento sighed.

"He is not my dad…" Ryuga argued.

"The sooner you accept you're half an evil space lunatic, the faster we can stop these arguments…" Sento sighed, "Besides, it just explains the weird things about you. You're still Ryuga," he argued as Sari put a hand back on the Warp Field Generator and began to write with her other, "I mean...you are the only one of us who is smart about romance…"

"That's 'cause I was almost married. I was a normal guy 'till I got wrapped up in your nonsense!" Ryuga barked before pointing at Noel, who was holding a notebook, "No, none of that. The one I know does that too much."

"Aw~" Noel whined, putting it back where she had pulled it out from.

"I deal with that enough back home...in fact...go into the Noel corner!" he pointed to a random corner.

"E-Eh?! N-Noel corner!?" Noel gawked.

"Corner...now," Lambda stated, not even hiding the tiny smile on her face.

"La-chan…" Noel pouted.

"This is how it works...Noel's pull out a book...they go to the Noel corner," Ryuga spoke, "Them's the rules...go." he waved his hand while speaking in a brotherly tone.

"Mmm…" Noel pouted, but complied.

"Okay, I wrote down what the Warp Field Generator would like for its repairs," Sari noted, offering Sento the paper.

"Hah?" Ryuga raised a brow.

"I'm a Speaker. Basically, I can 'talk' to machines," Sari explained.

"Robo magic, got it," Ryuga nodded, taking the list before Sento could, "We gotta find this stuff?"

"Going to take a lot of minerals," Sento noted, leaning over to peek at the list, "Hmm…" he walked over to a makeshift workbench and pulled out a pen-shaped device, "Perfect opportunity to test my Mineral Tracker." he clicked the top and the 'pen' floated and spun rapidly until pointing to the north-west, "Oh! There's a massive source that way."

"That way?" Sari blinked.

"Yup...as soon as Ben and his group come back from recon, we can get a good layout of the land," Sento explained.

"He's...He's got a gadget for everything…" Ryuga sighed to the others, "I wish I was kidding when I say that...but you name it...he has it. I'm half sure his jacket works on Doctor Who logic...cause he hides so many things in it."

"...?" Lambda blinked at that as she turned to look at Sento.

"Watch...hey, Sento, empty your pockets!" Ryuga shouted.

"Oh did you lose something in my pocket again?" he asked as he began producing several items, such as small little colored bottles with different designs on them, a belt with a crank on it, larger mechanical bottles, a drillsword, a buster sword of some sorts with a cannon barrel on it, a gatling gun, an...an anchor? and then multiple items, such as several gun-shaped devices which were not guns, a computer...a large flashlight, a tablet...a smartphone, and...a unicycle.

"...so many…" Lambda whispered.

"Told ya,"

"We're back!" Makoto's voice exclaimed, making the group turn to see Makoto and the others walking in, "And...hoo boy! Taking a breath from the wild air really wakes you up!"

"It's like we barely left home...all that's missing is a very pushy redhead telling us not to lick stuff…" Kazumi muttered.

"I thought it was honey…" Gentoku muttered.

"We barely escaped one of those robots when it locked its laser onto us," Rook added.

"There are working ones out there?" Sento asked, instantly before Rook, an ahoge rising up from his hair.

"Yes...some embedded into the ground while one or two..fully functioning and capable of movement," Rook replied, not seeing Ryuga frantically waving his arms to signal to him to shut up, "I think I saw a tower of sorts in the distance in the northeast covered in them with a thinner tower of sorts at the very top."

"I used XLR8 to check out that castle in the distance," Ben spoke up before cringing a little, "Yeah...that place is crawling with not just those robots, but some black goop, what I assume are orcs mixed with pigs, humanoid chameleons...and some centaur/lion-like monsters..I barely got away from those last two."

"..."

"...Um...Is he okay?" Rex asked, seeing how quiet Sento was.

"You...you buncha idiots…" Kazumi sighed, facepalming.

"No!" Ryuga panicked, "He's entered...Science Mode!"

"Gh!?" Ben and Makoto tensed.

"Ms. Sumdac, congratulations," Sento, now dressed in a safari suit and pith helmet, informed as he went to the back and came out, carrying her under his arm, "We are off on a safari for robots to study and recreate from remains at a tower."

"Wait, what?" Sari blinked as she was suddenly carried off, "Uh, guys...guys! Help here!?"

"I ain't goin' near that," Bobo spoke, resting on the counter nearby while slurping on a smoothie.

"Oh right, I need a wall of meat to block booby traps," Sento spoke, coming in and looking everything over before grabbing Rex, "This one shall suffice."

"Que?" Rex blinked twice before yelping when Sento pulled him out, "Ack!"

"Take the pen and get those minerals," Sento ordered, casually tossing the Mineral Tracker over to Makoto, "Just click the top and it will point you in the direction of the largest mineral source in a fifty kilometer radium. But don't click it three times in a row...it turns into a grenade!"

"Why?" she asked.

"Ryuga…" Kazumi and Gentoku spoke.

"It's a stress induced habit," Ryuga explained.

"...Come with," Lambda spoke, making the others blink as she walked over to Ben and Makoto, "I want to see...nature first hand."

"Oh, I ca…" Noel began.

"You're still in the Noel corner!" Ryuga called.

"Boo~!" Noel pouted as Makoto snickered.

"Noel corner? Oh, I gotta remember that," Makoto snickered, "What'd she do to get put in the corner?"

"Tried to write my love life again," Ryuga replied.

"Ahh...fair enough," Makoto nodded.

"We have got to remember that after we get home," Ben noted.

"Mmmm~!" Noel pouted further at that.

"Guess we'll stay here for now, keep the place secured from anymore of those weird pig monsters if they show up," Kazumi shrugged.

"Kazumi volunteers to go with you three," Gentoku informed, pushing the man over to them.

"Hah!?"

"We know your plan," Ryuga deadpanned.

"...d'oh fine…" Kazumi muttered before shaking it off, "Hey...may as well get some sunshine in a-"

"...I had to jinx it…" Kazumi muttered, the group walking through some heavy rain as they looked around for any cover.

"Be glad we're not trying to climb anything," Skurd noted, "It seems the landscape is far more slippery than what we're used to when it rains."

"And lightning…" Lambda added, looking nearby to see a red-skinned pig-like creature holding up a metal sword...and got shocked instantly by the incoming lightning bolt, "Very conductive…"

"Don't put your armor on until this goes away, La-chan," Makoto ordered.

"Affirmative," Lambda replied.

"I see something ahead of us!" Ben called, squinting his eyes a little.

Ahead of them was a large wooden stable of sorts resembling a wooden circus tent. What made it fully stand out was the giant wooden sculpture made to resemble the head of a horse that made up most of the roof.

"Better than nothing…" Makoto muttered as she held up her soaking wet tail, "Need someplace to dry up…"

"Lets see if it's not a trap first…" Kazumi sighed, "With my normal luck...it's always a death trap."

"I dunno..it looks like a normal horse stable," Ben noted, "...Well, as normal as it could probably get here. I think I saw one that looked like this when Rex and I were flying near that fortress."

"...It is safe," Lambda whispered as she began to approach it.

"How can you tell?" Kazumi asked, raising a brow.

"Horses...and dog," Lambda answered, pointing to the nearby stables, showing some horses inside...and a dog standing near the entrance inside.

"...You are Noel's sister, alright," Skurd muttered.

"Yup…" Makoto nodded in agreement as the group hurried to inside the place to get out of the rain, the Beastkin sighing in relief as she began to shake her tail a bit to get it dry.

"Oi oi! We just got into this place to dry off, not get more wet!" Kazumi snapped.

"Sorry!" Makoto quickly apologized.

"Easy with that water now!" a lanky man at the covered square desk set up at the entrance called, "I just finished painting a new landscape portrait of Death Mountain and I'd rather not let water ruin it!"

"Sorry, sir," Ben apologized.

"Don't call me 'sir,'" he huffed, "Name's Ozunda and I run the Foothill Stable. We deal in all things horse related. We also double as an inn," he then raised an eyebrow as he looked the four over, mainly the two males and Lamba, who was petting the dog, "What in the name of the Goddess Hylia happened to your ears?"

"Our...ears?" Ben asked as the man took off his hat...showing off pointed elf-like ears.

"We're from distant lands across the sea to the east," Kazumi explained/lied.

"Really now? That explains your looks, lady," Ozunda spoke, looking at Makoto before scratching his chin, "Though that's rare, having visitors from across the Great Sea," Ozunda noted, putting his hat back on, "I heard the last ones came long before the Calamity."

"The Calamity?" Makoto repeated.

"?! You do not know of the Calamity?!" Ozunda gasped out.

"Out of town…" Lambda reminded.

"Oh...ahem. Yes that is true…" Ozunda whispered before shaking his head, "Anyway, the Calamity was a horrible event a hundred years ago." he gestured to deeper inside of the stable, "We've got a fellow who knows an old song that speaks of the events staying here for the night. I'd explain myself, but I've got a stable and an inn to run."

"That's fine, sir," Ben nodded, "Thank you anyway."

"My pleasure," Ozunda nodded as he walked off.

"...okay. Something is definitely up with this world, "Ben whispered to the others, "And I'm betting this 'Calamity' and that giant smokey pig-monster we saw flying around the castle are connected somehow."

"Maybe that person he mentioned will…" Makoto began.

"Big Bird…" Lambda spoke up.

"Eh?" Kazumi blinked at that, "...We're not talking that Muppet thing a-"

"No…" Lambda shook her head as she pointed to a corner where accordion music was coming from, "Big bird…"

The three followed her pointing finger towards where it pointed towards. The accordion, colored in shades of faded gold and terracotta, was held between the hand-like wings of a large blue macaw-like being. He wore leather armor over his yellow chest with a red sash going across his chest in a diagonal, connecting to a silver ring and then wrapped around his waist to another silver ring on the other hip. The underside of his wings were the same shade of golden yellow as his chest with the tips of his feathers a soft white. He sported a pair of white baggy shorts, showing his bird-like legs and feet were covered in the same leather-like armor as his torso sported with jade rings just above where his legs turned into bird-like feet. Over the upper part of his armor was a white scarf and a green tiny cape-like scarf on the back of his armor. The left side of his head sported a strange charm of sorts, made of a red gem, a yellow and white flower, and two large white feathers. His soft brown eyes were unfocused, seemingly entranced in playing his instrument.

"...huh. It is a Big bird…" Makoto muttered, "And he seems..really calm right now."

"...oh! He is a bard, a minstrel!" Skurd realized.

"Minstrel?" Ben and Kazumi repeated.

"Someone who tells stories through the art of music!" Skurd explained before the Omnitrix beeped twice and entered Scanning Mode, letting out the yellow beam that scanned the bird.

"Hm?" the macaw blinked twice, shaking his head and pausing his playing, "What? Huh?" he turned his head to see the four approach, "Oh, good day. Fellow travellers, I see. Mayhaps I can offer you some assistance?"

"Honestly...yeah," Makoto nodded with a sigh, "Do you happen to know anything involving the Calamity?"

"Hmm? Travellers who do not know of the Calamity that befell Hyrule a century ago?"

"We're from across the Great Sea," Kazumi explained.

"Ah, that more than explains it," the macaw noted, "Very well, then allow me to regale you with the ancient verse passed down from this land. The verse of Hyrule's history of Calamity Ganon."

"Calamity Ganon?" the group repeated.

The macaw nodded as he took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he began to play in his accordion, "The kingdom of Hyrule is a vast and storied land, Oft grasped in the palm of a villainous hand./A dark force of destruction, many times undone, Rises once again–Ganon, the calamitous one. But hope survives in Hyrule, for all is not lost, Two brave souls protect it, no matter the cost./A goddess-blood princess and a fearless knight, They appear in each age to fight the good fight./Their battle with Ganon I've committed to song, To keep it through time, no matter how long./Now begins the second verse, listen and you'll know, Of their battle with Ganon 10,000 years ago./The kingdom of Hyrule was once a land of lasting peace / A culture of such strength and wit, that suffering did cease./But Ganon lurked beneath the surface, strengthening its jaws / So the ancient people of Hyrule set out to help the cause./Their efforts bore fruit in an automated force, To help avert Calamity by sealing it at its source./Four giant behemoths for which power never ceased, Each of these titans was called a 'Divine Beast.'/ And free-willed machines that hunted down their prey, These Guardians were built to last so they could join the fray. To guide the beasts in battle, warriors were needed, So four Champions were pledged to see Ganon defeated./ Divine Beasts, Champions, princess, and knight, Their plan to rout Ganon was looking airtight./And when Calamity Ganon reared its head, Hyrule rose against it / The optimism of Hyrule all the more incensed it./Ganon raged in its assault, boiling with hate, It gnashed its teeth and thrashed about, but it was all too late./The Guardians kept the heroes safe through every hour... The Divine Beasts unleashed attacks that weakened Ganon's power./The hero with the sealing sword struck the final blow, and the holy power of the princess sealed Ganon so./And that is the story of the brazen attack, On Calamity Ganon 10,000 years back."

'I KNEW THAT PIG SMOKE THING WAS EVIL!' Makoto mentally freaked as she hugged Ben from behind as Skurd had been quick in making a chest armor made of Petrosapien crystals to prevent him from being harmed, '...wait….and Sento dragged Sari and Rex to that castle with him….uh oh.'

"...I already don't like this," Rex whispered as he, Sari and Sento hid within an dilapidated house, bits of it covered in a black/dark purple-like ooze as as rather large dark brown robot crawled nearby, its blue optic glowing with bits of black and dark-purple smoke coming off its optic, "This place is crawling with those robots...and I think I saw one of those centaurs Ben mentioned…"

"I thought we were heading to the northeast to that fortress, not towards the castle," Sari whispered.

"We'll be safe," Sento assured, looking at the remains of a smaller-looking robot, "Amazing. Based on the carbon dating...these were made well over 10,000 years ago."

"How can you tell that? Don't you need like a lab to test that stuff?" Rex asked.

"...Well yes...but for me also no." Sento turned his head to reveal he was wearing a very advanced pair of goggles with the lenses a mix of red and blue, "These things have all sorts of features...even X Ray...but it's so strong it only works on things like stone and metal...so...somewhat useful…"

"...Hmm...maybe if I look into it…" Sari whispered, moving over as she put her hand on the robot, "Ok..I th-" she began before tensing up, her eyes changing color for a moment as she quickly reeled her hand back, a look of pure horror and shock on her face, "...What the hey…?"

"What happened?" Rex asked as he rushed over, "Are you okay?"

"No...I...I don't know what but..something was trying to get into my head...take over my body and 'rewrite' me," Sari whispered, panting as she held a hand over her heart, "I felt it...clawing its way into my soul..telling me only one thing over and over again…'Destroy. Destroy...destroy all who defy Calamity Ganon…'"

"I see...It's like a magical computer virus." Sento spoke up, getting their attention, "Whatever these things were once, this Ganon has infected and turned them into his weapons. I'd be impressed...if it didn't make me upset."

"How do you think I feel?!" Sari snapped, "This Ganon thing was literally trying to erase my soul...made me what makes me me!"

"...Probably best I avoid using my nanites on those robots then," Rex whispered before he noticed an intact book amongst a pile of burnt up ones, "Que?" he blinked as he walked over and picked it up, "Hey uh...Sento? I think I found something."

"Let me see," Sento spoke, lifting his goggles up as he walked over and picked up the book, opening it to read its contents, "'It was a nightmare...we thought the princess and her Champions had repelled as much of the enemy forces back just before Calamity Ganon could rise...but he appeared...and our worst fears came true. The Guardians turned against us, and there was a Blood Moon hanging high in the sky, reviving all the monsters that had come to attack Hyrule Castle.'" he whispered as he turned the next page, "'We managed to hide ourselves as the Guardians continue their relentless attack...but what we all heard from a scout sent chills down our spines and pulled our hearts into an icy grip...the Divine Beasts were under Calamity Ganon's control, the Champions slain within their own Divine Beasts...and the princess and her personal knight have gone missing...this….this has to be a dream...no. This...this feels like a true nightmare...one I never want to w-'...and it ends there. The rest is too faded or burnt to finish."

"...oh my Primus," Sari whispered as her and Rex' eyes widened in horror.

"That's why there's so many of those robots here," Rex whispered as he looked out the window, "That Calamity Ganon thing...it took them over within the entire city."

"I'm going to be sick," Sari admitted, her face turning green as Sento narrowed his eyes.

"Magical or not, these machines were meant to protect people...only to be turned against them…" Sento spoke, "Science...innovation, progress, it's all meant to help lives...not hurt them."

"...Did you get anything else from it before that thing tried to infect you?" Rex asked.

"Just two names," Sari replied, "'Zelda' and 'Link.'"

"Those were the names of the princess and her chosen knight," the macaw-like being stated to Ben and his group, all of them now at a small table in the stable/inn, "It's said that for the last one hundred years, the princess has kept the Calamity sealed away within the castle, awaiting the day her knight returns to end his reign of horror."

"...Holy...wow…" Makoto whispered in disbelief, "That's just...wow…"

"So in the end...those Guardians that were meant to protect Hyrule castle...ended up destroying it," Ben added, "And nobody has seen a trace of either of them, right?"

"Correct. It is also said the Master Sword, the Blade of Evil's Bane, is the only blade powerful enough to pierce Calamity Ganon and dispel the Calamity...but sadly, no one has seen it either in ages, said to be awaiting its chosen wielder within the Lost Woods," the macaw explained before blinking, "Oh...I do apologize. In all of this talk, I forgot to introduce myself to you, my fellow travellers," he realized before clearing his throat a bit, "I am Kass of the Rito. A pleasure to meet you all, and I do hope my song has helped you for your own travels."

"They have," Kazumi replied, "Though, do you know anything about that mountain? We're hoping to head there after the rain ends."

"Ah, you'll need to be careful," Kass advised, "Due to Vah Rudania's rampage before it settled down just a day ago, the area is hotter than normal." he looked towards a young woman near one of the entrances of the place before giving them a small bag, "Takes these and give them to Gaile. She'll give you some Fireproof Elixirs to safely travel through the mountain to Goron City where you can get something to prevent the intense heat from harming you when the Elixirs wear out."

"...Is this mountain a volcano?" Makoto asked with wide eyes.

"Why yes. It is why it is called Death Mountain."

"...And the rain?" Lambda questioned, ignoring the freaked out looks on her friends' faces.

"It is because of Vah Ruta over within Zora's Domain. I warned a young man who was coming from Death Mountain about it, but he seemed determined to go there," Kass replied.

"W-Wait…" Makoto spoke up, shaking the initial shock off for a moment, "So this rain isn't normal?"

"No...ever since the Calamity, Vah Ruta has been unleashing an endless rain storm upon the Lanayru Providence, where Zora's Domain resides," Kass explained, "While the Zora do not mind the rain most of the time...the people on the lower areas lost their homes from floods caused by the rain." he looked to Death Mountain, "Until a day ago, Vah Rudania was actively causing Death Mountain to constantly erupt and caused several mines to shut down due to the magma flow they were causing." he looked out to the southeast, "Vah Nabooris has caused a century-long sandstorm in the Gerudo Desert, striking any who enter it with powerful lightning that even the strongest Elixirs cannot overcome." a somber look filled his eyes as he gazed out to the northeast, "And my own home, Rito Village, has been unable to truly spread our wings and fly in our lands because of Vah Medoh shooting upon us when we go too far in the skies. Though...I heard that a few days ago that someone calmed Vah Medoh and it now perches atop the village and now ignores all Rito that fly where it once deemed its domain."

"Thank you for sharing this with us, Kass," Ben thanked, "Hopefully when we go to this Goron City place, we'll learn more about this Vah Rudania and why it stopped going nuts."

Kass nodded, standing up as he walked off to practice his music, leaving the quadret alone at the table.

"So...that funny pen that detects minerals is leading us to a volcano," Makoto noted, "One that is super duper hot and…"

"You're wanting to go to this Zora's Domain place so your tail doesn't catch fire and see if we can't help with the floods," Kazumi stated.

"Eeyup," Makoto nodded, "That and...well last time I was in a place called the 'Hot Spot,' I was acting really loopy…like really loopy."

"I can attest to it," Ben noted.

"Oh, I must hear this," Skurd chuckled.

"Well, I did say I'd go there to learn about Vah Rudania for Kass," Ben noted, "I can use Heatblast to deal with the heat and maybe NRG and Armadrillo to get the minerals."

"Or get another sample of the people of this world," Skurd noted, "If there is a city there, the beings may very well be immune to the immense heat of a volcano and may be capable of collecting the minerals of the area."

"Very true," Ben nodded before looking back at the others, "I'll meet up with you guys once I'm done there, then we can meet back up with the others and tell them what's going on."

"...I will go with Nanaya-san," Lambda spoke up, "I want to see the Zoras…see what they look like."

'Wait...Noel-tan's sister is going alone?' Kazumi thought, tensing up a bit as an idea popped into his head, 'What if I...no no. Technically she's not my Noel-tan...but...still...ugh! So conflicted!'

"No don't!" Kazumi looked over to see what looked like a miniature version of him in chains, hiding behind a candle, "You must learn to restrain yourself! Even if it is her, it is technically not the one we know personally!"

"Yeah, that is true, but…"

"What are you waiting for then?!" he turned to see another miniature Kazumi dressed up as an old streetpunk..with a Noel body pillow in hand looking up from a spoon, "You can use this chance to personally get to know her sister...thus helping you get to know Noel-tan much faster and show that stuck up brother of hers you can take care of her better!"

"Oh...The Shoulder Devil makes a good point…"

"What?! No! Don't listen to him! He's just trying to lead you down the path of evil!" the Shoulder Angel Kazumi shouted.

"More like lead him down the path that rocks...and leads to points with Noel-tan!" Shoulder Devil Kazumi laughed.

"Well, what are you even going to do!? You know Sento's rules, he turned off our gear, so you're just a freakishly strong farmer! So you might as well not push your luck,"

"...Is everything alright with him?" Makoto whispered to Ben and Lambda as the trio watched him muttering to himself.

"Unknown," Lambda replied, tilting her head.

"A conflict of interests may be happening," Skurd noted, "On the one, he may be curious about this 'Vah Ruta' as well, but on the other we do need to get those materials for Sento and Sari to repair the Warp Field Generator."

"...I'll see about getting some of those Fireproof Elixirs then and take him with me," Ben spoke up, "Could use his help carrying some of the materials back to the shop."

"Meaning it's just me and La-chan for an all girls mission," Makoto grinned, "Sounds like a fair deal!"

"Eh?" Kazumi returned to reality, his unseen shoulder deities blinking with him.

"Sounds good to me," Ben replied, "Kazumi and I will meet you at, um…" he looked around before seeing a map on the wall with a spot circled with some ink, "Okay...We'll meet you…" he walked over and looked at the map before tapping at a spot on it a little bit below them, "At the center of Zora's Domain. Since things are flooded, I can use Ripjaws to get Kazumi and I to you two here fast and safe."

"Eh?" Kazumi repeated as Ben helped him out of his seat, "...Wait...what?!"

"What did Kass say her name was again? Oh, right. Gilde," Ben recalled.

"Take care, boys~" Makoto waved.

"Bye…" Lambda added with her own wave.

"See you girls later," Ben said as he dragged a stammering Kazumi off.

"Mmm…" Bobo muttered as he looked outside the open door, glaring at a Bokoblin looking on at him, "...what? You wanna start something?"

"Boko!" the Bokoblin roared, hefting a wooden club up before Ryuga's fist met its face, knocking it into the distance, "BWEEEEEEEEEE~!"

"..." Ryuga snickered as Bobo chuckled, "Okay, I know those things are annoying, but...but that…? That was hilarious…"

"Youse said it."

"Do you really need to pick on those things?" Noel asked, "They don't seem...very sentient…"

"Oh come on. It's just some kinda pig goblin thing." Ryuga replied, "Besides I need to do something. This world has no WiFi!"

"Well what do youse expect? We're in da middle of freakin' nowhere, genius," Bobo argued.

"...You think I'm smart?" Ryuga asked.

"Oh dear…" Noel muttered, realizing maybe Sento was...somewhat correct when describing Ryuga's IQ.

"No...I mean it. You're a freakin' Einstein, dragon boy…" Bobo stated in a sarcastic tone.

"Why th...OI!" Ryuga snapped, "Ooh, if Sento hadn't got Dragon to stay away from me right now, you'd be in for it!"

"Dragon?" Bobo repeated.

"Ano...you mean that tiny blue robot dragon?" Noel asked.

"You saw him?" Ryuga asked, turning to her.

"He just went out the door," Noel replied.

"Gah! Dragon, get back here so we don't lose ya or my Bottle!" Ryuga shouted, running out.

"...Bottle?" Rook blinked, poking his head out from the back for a moment to see what was happening.

"It's...complicated," Gentoku stated.

"You be a good robot dragon powered by my Dragon Bottle and return!" Ryuga shouted, "Move Pig-Goblins!"

"BOKO!"

"...Least I'm gettin' a kick outta this," Bobo grinned.

"Hmm…" Sento muttered, having taken apart every robot he came across and was currently soldering something on a makeshift work table in a broken house near the outskirts of where they had previous been, "Interesting...hmm…" a large spark went off, "Algebraic!" he laughed, his cowlick present atop his head.

"I am not repeating what it's saying about your hands," Sari stated.

"It will learn to live with it." Sento smiled, "Its consent is not a factor, mwahahaha~"

"Yeah...It's living with it, alright…" Sari noted, "And I'm gonna need brain bleach yet again."

"I have an amnesia pen in my pocket if you want it." he replied, "This flows this direction, that flows here...it all meets here at this point and…" another big spark went off, "Ooh...that did something to this odd evil energy…"

"Dude, this is magic...I don't think science can fix magic." Rex muttered, poking his head in from his watch on the outside.

"...Do you hear that?" Sento asked, cupping his ear, "Yes, I do believe that is the sound of...I don't care," he whispered the last part.

"Mmm," Rex frowned as Sari giggled.

"He got you good on that," Sari admitted.

"Sari, real quick, tell me if this causes anything odd to happen," Sento pushed on something as the faint glow on the robot turned bright blue, "Well...I made it a nice shade of blue…"

"...It's relieved, almost like it's mind is as clear as it had been a hundred years ago," Sari noted.

"No way...you...fixed it…" Rex gawked.

"Well...I fixed one." Sento corrected, "But that's just 'cause I did some tinkering...honestly, not sure I can make an antivirus for all of them...at least not without my real lab back in my home dimension...there I have a machine that more or less alters energy and matter to create some amazing things...but sadly it's big, clunky...and I need a certain someone to help make it function…and I don't want that certain someone to know about the teleporting smoothie shop. Now to fix up a body for this one."

"It remembers wanting to always want to fly like some of its brethren," Sari noted.

"...I don't think I got those parts…" Sento muttered, "Or do I...Rex quick, I need you to smash stuff for me!"

"Wh-?! Dude!" Rex exclaimed at that.

"Use it as a form of venting if you encounter one of those Guardians."

"...Know what? ...I'll take that then," Rex muttered as he stepped out, "May as well take a closer look into the castle while I'm at it..see if I can find anything useful," he said, activating his backpack as he took off into the air.

"Guess I'll keep an eye out in case we see any Guardians," Sari muttered, "I would try and get ahold of the others, but I doubt we'd even get a signal," she stated as she looked at Sento..who was busy examining the small Guardian robot, "...and he's back to working…"

"You say something?" Sento asked, pausing for a moment to look at her.

"Nothing…"

"And to think, this morning I was coming back from dealing with a giant robot in Shanghai and dealing with waiting for Van Kleiss or the Consortium to show up," Rex noted to himself as he flew towards the castle, "Now me and Bobo are world hopping with Ben and his friends. Never did get the story how he ended up with Makoto when he said he was dating this Julie girl. Ah well, that's future talk." he went by one of the massive pillars emerging from the ground below before pausing and looking at it, "...Those towers around the castle have gotta be important for something…" he twisted the lenses of his goggles and the lenses began to act like binoculars, "Hmm...Wait, those grooves in those spots. Are...Are these where those robots came from?...Did they unearth these things?"

A beeping sound soon caught his attention, making him tense to see a pair of dots on him.

"...oh sh-!" Rex tensed as he quickly flew out of the way of a pair of lasers aimed at him, "Woah!" he quickly looked to see some Turret-like Guardians looking at him, "...great. They got sentry turret versions of these things." his eyes narrowed as a smirk formed on his face, "Well...Sento did say to think of this as stress relief. And you guys better believe me when I say this…" data lines ran down his arms before deploying his large silver and orange robotic fists, "I've got a lot to vent!"

All the Guardians in the area stopped for a moment as they all turned their attention at Rex, their optics glowing as they all began to aim at him. One Guardian was about to fire before one of the turrets was suddenly tossed into it, destroying both upon impact as they exploded in blue fire.

"...Oh yeah…" Rex grinned, pounding his robotic fists as he flew up to avoid some lasers, "I'm gonna enjoy venting here…"

As Rex continued to fight off the Guardians, he was unaware of a fain't light coming from the center part of the castle, followed by the sounds of a faint roar.

"Nice call on the raincoats, La-chan," Makoto whispered as she and Lambda were walking along a path next to a river, the rain pouring down hard, "Can't believe how easy you were able to make them though…"

"Instructions online...copied them and practiced in case it rains and I have no umbrella," Lambda answered.

"Huh...neat," Makoto noted, "...Say La-chan….what do you think these Zora things look like?"

"Hmm?"

"Well given how Kass and most likely all Rito are bird people...makes you wonder what the Zoras here are like," Makoto answered, "...Probably fish people if they enjoy the rain."

"...Possibly…" Lambda muttered as she looked ahead, "...We are most likely nearing Zora's Domain."

"Hmm?" Makoto blinked at that before Lambda pointed, making her look to see a few towers and bridges colored in sea-foam green, and various water-blue colors, "...oh yeah. This has to lead to the place…"

"Mmm…" Lambda nodded before she noticed something glowing nearby, making her look to see what looked like a glowing blue bunny near a bust along the edge, "...Usagi…."

"Eh?" Makoto blinked as Lambda began to walk off, "Eh?! W-wait, La-chan! Don't just walk away!"

"Iie….I saw an usagi," Lambda argued as she moved quicker to the bush, opening it to try and find the bunny...only to find nothing, "...mmm...usagi lost...mission fai-"

A loud hissing caught her attention, making her look up to see a humanoid chameleon-like creature raising a bladed rigged spear at her. Makoto was about to leap in before something shot past her, the monster crying out in pain as a silver-white trident-like weapon was embedded into its chest. It staggered back for a moment before a figure jumped before it and kicked it off the edge, grabbing the trident and pulled it out. Its corpse glowed before dissolving into black smoke, leaving only bits and pieces of its body and its weapon.

"Ahh...the Lizalfos are getting more bold in their attacks…" the figure whispered before he turned to face the two girls, "Now then...are you two ladies okay?"

The figure was tall, very tall. Makoto swore she'd probably barely reach his waist. His body was covered in rich red scales aside from his face, chest, underside of his 'hair', and the insides of his arms and legs, which were all a cream-white color. His head seemed to resemble the body of a shark of sorts. Silver decorated his wrists, made up his belt, and made up a collar of sorts on his neck. A pair of fins grew on the sides of his hips, making resemblance to that of a coattail of sorts, while a sword was sheathed on his hip. He gave them a smile that seemed to glisten for a moment.

"...uh...yeah. We're okay," Makoto whispered, slowly dismissing her gauntlets behind her back as she looked up at him, "Just...taken by surprise is all."

"Ahh...fair enough then. You are quite lucky I was in the area then," the tall being smiled a bit before adapting a pondering look, "Hmm...neither of you appear to be Hyalian…are you by chance travellers from across the Great Sea?"

"It's nice how easy it is to explain that when folks guess it on their own," Makoto smiled, turning to Lambda.

"We are...and wish to assist in what is troubling Zora's Domain," Lambda explained to the tall being.

"You are?! Splendid!" the tall being smiled before blinking a bit, "Oh, pardon me, miladies...I am..." he paused as he did a pose, flexing his arm while he did a toothy grin complete with a glint, "I am Sidon, the Zora prince! Now what are your names, my fair maidens?"

"Name's Makoto, big guy," Makoto smiled a bit before motioning to Lambda, "This is Lambda, but I tend to call her La-chan for short."

"Lachan?"

"No, no. I…"

"Well I have heard some Hyalians giving nicknames to friends, so...it does not sound all that weird," Sidon noted with a chuckle, "A pleasure to meet you both Lady Makoto, Lady Lachan."

'...Oh, I am going to be in trouble when Tsubaki reads the report. Somehow...this is going to make me get in trouble with her,' Makoto thought.

"Now then, miladies...Allow me to show you the way to Zora's Domain," Sidon stated as he motioned to the path of bridges, "If you stay along this path, you will reach Zora's Domain in no time...but be weary. This pass has quite the few monsters here with electrical weapons."

"Oh don't worry. We can handle them ourselves," Makoto assured.

"Are you sure? Even if I am shocked, it would be unfitting of me if I do not assist you both along the way."

"We will be fine, Prince Sidon," Lambda stated.

"...Heh heh. What strong spirits in you both," Sidon noted with a chuckle before he reached for something behind him and pulled out some bottles with a yellow liquid in them, "Here. These Electro Elixirs will defend you against electricity! ...Though.." he paused before holding his chin in thought, "I am not sure why, but its effects do not seem to work for Zora. Perhaps because it was made for people like Hyalians."

"Thank you, Prince Sidon," Makoto thanked as they accepted the bottles, 'A drink that makes you protected against electrical shocks...A lot of electricians would kill for this kind of drink...welp, bottoms up!' she thought as she and Lambda opened their respective bottles and took a drink, '?! OOOOOOOH~! Sweet bippy, that's sour!'

"Sour...tart…" Lambda muttered, her lips puckered in as she shivered.

"Yes, the first drink tends to be...really sour and tart," Sidon admitted, "Word of advice, Lady Makoto, Lady Lachan...best not to drink so many at once."

"I'll...keep that in mind…" Makoto grumbled, still trying to get over the taste.

"Yes...ahem! Well then...let us be off!" Sidon declared as he posed again.

"...You drank a few bottles the first time, didn't you?" Lambda asked, making Sidon trip up a bit and lose his pose.

"..." Sidon said nothing as he looked around, making sure no one was there before he held up three fingers at the girls, "I….was a bit foolish in my younger days…"

'Well...At least he's honest about it,' Makoto thought as she, Lambda, and Sidon walked off, 'Wonder how Ben and Kazumi are doing?'

"...I have to question how just one of these…" Kazumi began, pointing at the round bronze helmet on his head as he lifted the grill a bit, "Can keep me cool from this place? And I live with a man who has made gadgets from office supplies that took down a rampaging mutant."

"There could be something in the pieces that help. Maybe a special rune only they know how to carve," Ben noted, wearing an identical helmet as they walked down a mountain path while avoiding puddles and rivers of lava.

"But did they have to be really expensive for just one piece?"

"Dude...did you see how much the chest armor was? We were lucky enough to get two because we helped those two Gorons settle a dispute."

"One was just being lazy and wanted his brother to cook him some Rock Roast," Kazumi argued.

"Yeah...but we found some gemstones that we sold to buy these helmets," Ben pointed out, "Plus we got a lead to where we can find the minerals we need for Sento."

"And a new sample for the Omnitrix," Skurd noted, "The DNA is quite an interesting taste. A bit spicy."

"Probably not as spicy as those Fire Elixirs Kazumi drank as we were coming here," Ben countered.

"It felt like eating liquified California Reapers and Ghost Peppers combined…" Kazumi whispered with haunting eyes, 'I kept one just for my Bullet though...she will finally wear pants damn it!'

"Let's buy another and give it to those chaps that have the spicy wings food truck," Skurd suggested.

"Maybe later," Ben replied before looking up at the top of the volcano that made Death Mountain, "Plus, we need to learn why it stopped rampaging for Kass."

"Perhaps we'll find a Goron here," Skurd guessed, "In fact...mayhaps now is the best time to try out your new form."

"You really wanna see it, don't you?" Ben asked.

"Don't you?"

"Well, it doesn't look like anyone's around so it'll be safe to change," Ben noted, looking around and spotting no Gorons, "...Huh. I just realized it's been a while since I actually tried to keep my transformations a secret. Feels nostalgic."

"Well why stop now? Transform and feel the nostalgia fuel this new alien!" Skurd declared dramatically.

"He's really hamming it up," Kazumi muttered as Ben turned the Omnitrix on.

Once he found what he wanted, he carefully pressed down on the Omnitrix symbol as he was engulfed in a flash of light. When the light died down, Ben was replaced with a large figure. His body seemed to be composed of a stone-like tanned skin with a pair of 'underpants' made of a thick braided metal rope and a black elastic cloth. Obsidian chains wrapped around his torso in an 'X' pattern with the Omnitrix symbol attached to the center where they crossed. Thick metal braces were attached to where his feet and legs met along with his wrists and just below his elbows with white stone-like hair growing out of the back of his lower and upper arms. The back of his fists sported black markings resembling a four-clawed footprint with two more on his knees. Finally, he sported a wild mane of the white stone-like hair growing out of his head.

"Grah! Oh man! I feel pretty mighty like this!" the new alien declared, flexing a bit and showing off the muscles in his arms.

"Wow…" Kazumi awed.

"Oh yeah, this is the first time you've really seen me use this," he realized before rubbing his chin, "Hmm...Now what ta call this form?"

"I imagine this will take a moment," Kazumi looked at Skurd.

"When he and the girl are together, almost instant...alone…" Skurd muttered.

"Since I'm technically taking a piece of them back home with me, maybe I should take a name from here that would be part of their culture," he mumbled to himself, "Probably get thrown into magma if I went with that 'Daruk' name I've been hearing in the town. Hmm…" he looked up at the volcano, faintly seeing something massive at the top, "Rudania...Daruk...Heh. Got it." he posed, "Darukania! Haha! Yeah! That's a perfect name!"

"Only you would think something like that," Skurd deadpanned, "...But it's fitting for now, so may as well stick with it."

"Thanks!" Darukania beamed before sniffing, "Oh, what's that smell?"

"What smell?" Kazumi pondered as the Goron walked off ahead, sniffing the air.

"Hmm…" Darukania picked up a rather large rock, sniffing it, "Huh...It's coming from this."

"What are you smelling?" Skurd pondered.

"Mmm…" Darukania looked around before dipping the rock into the magma, making Skurd and Kazumi flinch, "And…" he pulled it out and flicked the magma off, revealing the rock to be steaming with several glowing cracks, "Ahh!"

"What is that?" Kazumi asked.

*CRUNCH!*

"Apparently...It's lunch," Skurd replied as Darukania took another large chunk off the rock.

"I have no idea...but this is just plain delicious!" he noted, "Gotta go find more of these rocks for later….oh! Maybe I can find a good Rock Roast! I bet that tastes amazing!"

"I think I've found a drawback to this form," Skurd realized.

"Same here," Kazumi agreed, "Be-er-Darukania, focus. We've got minerals to find and the story about what happened here."

"Huh? Oh! Oh, you're right!" Darukania remembered, "Alright! Then let's get going!"

"I draw lines if you try and serve me rocks…" Kazumi spoke, "I am a farmer and a chef..I do not eat rocks."

"Well, there's Rock Soup right?"

"Yes..but no one eats it!"

"Oh lord…" Skurd facepalmed.

"...Holy…" Makoto whispered in awe as she and Lambda looked at the large structure before them, covered in the same material as the towers and bridges with crystal-like glass added into it, bits of water covering the area as various large waterfalls poured down from behind.

"Miladies, welcome to Zora's Domain!" Sidon greeted as he held his arms out, "Kingdom of the Zora, and led by my father King Dorephan!"

"...big," Lambda noted in slight awe as she moved over to the railing, looking down to see the structure was above a massive body of water, "...big lake."

"Why thank you," Sidon thanked, "It's one of our best defining features of the kingdom."

"Wow…" Makoto blinked as Sidon led them further in, letting the two girls see various Zora of different colors, age, and gender walking around, 'Huh…looks like the Zora are each based on different types of fish from what I'm seeing so far…wonder what kind Ben will be once he meets up with us here?'

Lambda tilted her head as they came upon a statue. At first, it appeared to have been carved from ice to her was actually a crystal of sorts. The figure was that of a female Zora that seemed to be based upon a nurse shark. Despite the pose showing her to be in battle wielding a trident much like Sidon, the artisan who made it seemed to do their best to capture a sort of...tranquility to her visage.

"...who is that?" she questioned as she pointed at the statue.

"...That…" Sidon paused, a sad smile upon his face as he looked at the statue, "Is of my beloved sister Mipha. A hundred years ago, she went into Vah Ruta and never came out."

"A hundred years ago?" Makoto repeated, her eyes wide in surprise.

"Oh yes, we can live to be around four hundred years," Sidon noted, "I myself just reached adulthood at 125."

"Really?!" Makoto gawked, "So you and probably a lot of the older Zora here…"

"Yes," Sidon nodded, "I was a child when it happened. It was frightening, but we've managed to endure…" he frowned, "Even if relations between us and Hylians have grown colder due to what happened that day."

"Huh?" the two pondered before footsteps went off.

The three looked to see a figure approach, covered in a dark-green cloak to protect them from the downpour. It parted along the sides once it was under the armpits, showing a blue tunic with white details and a pair of worn cream pants and brown boots. On their back was a bulky wooden and bone bow with the bones on it sharpened to points and a broadsword of sorts, the raindrops causing sparks to come off it whenever they hit. Makoto's attention trailed down to see a strange tablet-like device on their hip, made of what seemed to be the same material as the Guardians. On the back of it was what appeared to be a blue eye shedding a lone tear.

"Hm? A traveller?" Sidon pondered, "I say, what brings you here?" the cloaked figure pointed ahead, specifically towards the highest level of the structure, specifically a building resembling a fish with its mouth as the entrance and its tail curled upwards, "What? You're here to see my father?" he frowned, "The Zora king is not accepting visitors at this time. I shall escort you out."

A gust of wind blew by and the figure moved a hand up to not get hit in the face with it. The wind took the hood covering his head off, letting it drap his shoulders. Lambda blinked twice as the figure slowly lowered their hand...and Lambda's cheeks turned red. The figure was that of a young man, possibly around 17 or 18. He had rich golden hair pulled into a tiny ponytail at the back of his neck and two locks framing his face. His eyes were a rich sky blue...while his most defining trait was a pair of pointed elf-like ears.

"Pardon my manners, but are you a Hylian!?" Sidon asked, "Why didn't you say so in the first place?! Please, please, come with Ladies Makoto and Lachan and I."

The young man nodded before looking at the girls for a moment, giving a small wave...which made Lambda go right behind Makoto and hide her face into her tail.

'What is this?' Lambda pondered, a hand moving to her chest.

The young man tilted his head in confusion before shrugging. He'd seen that happen a few times, but never really understood it. The three began to follow Sidon up towards the structure.

"So, uh...like Sidon said, I'm Makoto and that's Lambda, or La-chan fo short," Makoto introduced, "What's your name?" the young man smiled before making two circles with his pointer fingers and thumbs before connecting them, forming a link, "...Link?" the young man nodded, "Oh, neat."

"Link? That…" Sidon began as he turned to look at Link, "Is a marvelous name! Though…" he paused as he began to ponder in thought, "Why do I feel like I know that name...you do seem awfully familiar...perhaps it will come back to me. For now...let us meet with my father."

'Wonder what kind of fish is he? Probably something royal like a-HOLY ACORNS!' Makoto mentally exclaimed as they reached up the top of the stairs, seeing a very, very large Zora based on a whale sitting upon a throne, decorated in silver and gold jewelry and a 'scarf' made of a red fabric with gold detailing.

"...Whale shark," Lambda whispered, poking out of Makoto's tail a moment to look.

"Sidon, is everything okay, my son?" the large Zora asked.

"Yes, father. I have great news," Sidon smiled before motioning to Link and the girls, "These three are here to assist us...and one of them is Hyalian!"

"Is that so?" he noted before smiling at the three, "It is good to know there are still good people out there to help those in need. I am King Dorephan, ruler of the Zora...hmm?" he blinked when he noticed the object on Link's waist, "That object upon your waist...is that not a Sheikah Slate?"

"Sheikah Slate?" Makoto repeated, looking at the tablet-like object on Link's hip once more.

"HMMM?! ...Now that I get a good look at you, it's clear to see who you are…" Dorephan noted before smiling, "You are the Hylian Champion, Link!"

"!?" Makoto gawked, looking at Link in surprise, 'He's that Link?!'

"Ah...old," Lambda whispered.

"La-chan, shush," Makoto whispered back, "Girls don't like talking about ages."

"The Hylian Champion? You can't mean...the Link? That Champion?!" Sidon gasped as he looked at Link, "So that's where I have heard your name before! Ahahaha! What a fateful coincidence that we should cross paths!"

Dorephan laughed, a smile on his face, "I cannot believe it. The Hylian Champion, Link, has appeared before us... We have met numerous times, I'll have you know. Ah... So many memories! My mind is overflowing with nostalgia, my friend."

"..." Link rubbed his upper arm, a mixture of confusion, remorse, and sadness on his face.

"...You do not remember us, do you?" King Dorephan asked, earning a nod, "...Ahh...Such saddening news...could be the result of what happened to you. They say you had fallen in battle many years ago on your way to Fort Hateno through the Ash Swamp, and yet here you are...alive and haven't aged a day...but..." a sad look appeared in his eyes, "Surely you must remember my precious daughter Mipha, yes? You do, do you not?"

"..."

"...Then it is true. You've forgotten her as well," Dorephan sighed sadly, "You and Mipha were so close...yet you do not remember her…"

"Yeesh," Makoto cringed, "I can relate on losing a bit of your memory, but everything?"

Link pulled out the Sheikah Slate. He tapped on it and the screen came to life. With a few flicks, he offered it to the Beastkin. Makoto raised an eyebrow and looked at the screen, showing several photos of different places with several sporting small checkmarks.

"Oh, I get it. You've been using the pictures in this to help you remember," Makoto noted, earning a smile and nod from Link, "Oh that is clever." 'Also..holy crap! Magic touchpad!'

"So you use this to help you remember? Did you see a Zora in what you remember from these?" Sidon asked, earning a nod as Link tapped on one of the photos, showing a platform of sorts in the center of a tiny forest before tapping his shoulders with two fingers, "Your knighting ceremony in front of the other Champions. Mipha told me of that day when she came home after it."

"Do you see that statue in the courtyard?" Dorephan asked, "That is Mipha's form immortalized." he rubbed his chin, "Perhaps your memory will return in time. I dearly hope so..." he soon took notice of Makoto and Lambda, "Oh..I do apologize...I did not get your names."

"Makoto, your majesty," Makoto answered, deciding to act formal as she bowed a bit, "And with me is Lambda, but I like to call her La-chan for short."

"Hmm...are you and your friend Lachan from over the Great Sea?"

"Yep," Makoto replied, "We're part of a small group of travellers that split up to see various spots in the land and the two of us were lucky to meet your son Prince Sidon."

"We wish to assist you in your trouble, your majesty," Lambda spoke as she moved out from behind Makoto and trying not to look at Link's direction.

"Ahh...perfect then," Dorephan noted with a smile, "To think my son not only found people to help us...but one of them being a Champion no less! Heh...ahh what luck that has fallen upon us, but...now I should inform you what is happening…" he stated as he took on a more somber yet serious look, "I must inform you that Zora's Domain is in danger of vanishing thanks to Divine Beast Vah Rutah...I shall do you the courtesy of speaking bluntly. We cannot stop this beast alone. Please...lend us your strength."

"Gh?!" an old elderly green Zora themed after a manta ray gawked at that before looking up at the king, "King Dorephan, my liege! Please do not speak so! To ask these outsiders..especially a Hylian for help...why the very thought of it curls my fins!"

"Muzu, I expected more of you," Dorephan frowned a bit, "How can you still protest, especially in our current situation?"

"Muzu! It is rude to speak that way to the king and our guest!" Sidon added, "They are here to help us! With such unprecedented rainfall, we have no choice but to rely on aid from these trustworthy travellers! And Link...he is the key to saving Zora's Domain, I have no doubt in my mind! So why...why must you protest against this in such a dire time of need for our people?"

"He is right, Muzu," Dorephan spoke up, "As it stands, Zora's Domain...nay. Perhaps all of Hyrule...is doomed to be swallowed by the sea..." he sighed before looking at the trio, "This is bigger than all of us, my friends. Zora and Hylians alike must set aside their differences and band together."

"Have you already forgotten my king?" Muzu scowled, "We cannot trust these people, especially some lowly Hylian. A hundred years ago, the Hylians abused the power of an ancient civilization and turned Hyrule into what it is today! And most importantly…" he paused, shooting a venomous glare at Link for a moment before looking away sadly, "It's their fault that Lady Mipha was lost to us…and these two..." he then glared at Makoto and Lambda, "They claim they are from over the Great Sea, and they just happen to be in the area...how do we know they are not members of the Yiga clan in disguise, wanting to add further turmoil to our p-"

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Dorephan shouted, the area rumbling a bit as those there flinched, "I apologize, Link, young travellers...some of us were...deeply affected by the loss of my daughter, Mipha."

"It's okay, your majesty," Makoto nodded, "Though...may I ask you a question?"

"Of course, Lady Makoto."

"Earlier you said that perhaps all of Hyrule is doomed to be swallowed by the sea...what did you mean by that?"

"Ahh...I was hoping to talk about the threat Vah Ruda poses," Dorephan answered with a nod, "Divine Beast Vah Ruda has great power. It has a unique ability to create an endless supply of water. Of late it has been mercilessly spouting water into the air. As a result, this area has been plagued by heavy rain. For us Zora, water and air are as one, so one would not think this would be quite so crucial of a problem. Sadly...that is not the case for non-Zora living within the Lanayru Province."

"Some of the people living within the Lanayru province have lost their homes due to the floods caused by the rain," Sidon added, "I've often had to lead a small group of soldiers to go assist and rescue those caught in the floods."

"Yes...but it was a sign of things to come," Dorephan started with a sigh, "The rains have filled the eastern reservoir nearly to the point of flooding. If the reservoir bursts, as soon as it will..I fear immense damage will befall not just Zora's Domain, but the areas downstream from us. There, Hylian lives are in grave danger."

"...a mass flooding," Lambda realized.

"That's bad, I mean you guys look adapted to water, so this a disaster on one scale to you, but it'll be bigger for folks who can't even swim," Makoto added.

"Precisly," Dorephan nodded before a loud elephant-like noise filled the area, "...hmm...the Divine Beast is crying out once again…"

"An Elephant?" Makoto blinked.

"Dekai…" Lambda added.

"The Princess, Zelda often studied the Divine Beasts. That is..until the Great Calamity," Dorephan spoke up, "According to her research, teh orbs located on Ruta's shoulders are mechanisms that can control the water it generates. However, they require electricity to work. The orbs are clearly out of control now because there is no electricity coursing through to stop them."

"Seggin, who is quite shock resistant for a Zora, hit one with a Shock Arrow," Sidon added, "Sure enough, it slowed the water a bit. Unfortunately as an aquatic race, we Zora are terribly vulnerable to the power of electricity."

"Electricity!" Makoto gasped, "Ah! I know someways to help! I even have several ideas!"

"Makoto?" Lambda asked.

"I know, weird right?" she muttered, "But I guess without Tsubaki to be my brain...my actual brain is putting in some work."

Link raised a slight brow at that.

"My gauntlets can project elemental attack," Makoto explained, "And my Boyfriend and partner, he has all sorts of amazing abilities. We also have a literal super genius!" she explained to everyone, "I think if I can go back and snag one of them we can really help!"

"Truly now?!" Sidon gasped at that before laughing, "Most excellent! The Goddesses must truly be smiling down upon us this very day!"

"If you'll let us run back to our friends, I can see which one I can drag here," Makoto smiled, "My boyfriend Ben can be smart when it matters, and his powers...vast. But our new friend Sento is crazy smart. He could probably pull something out of his butt."

"...Hmm…" Dorephan began to ponder at that, "...Very well. The more help you can gather, the better the chance we can stop Vah Ruta."

"But...your majesty…!" Muzu began.

"Perfect! Hopefully, it won't take me long!" Makoto smiled as she ran off at high speed.

"..." Link blinked in surprise before looking out the side, seeing Lambda standing there, "..."

"She tends...to forget at times," Lambda stated, turning her head away to avoid his gaze.

"Mmm…" Muzu growled a bit, glaring at Link for a moment as he walked off.

"...That guy's been standing out there for a while now," Sari whispered, seeing what looked like a travelling merchant standing outside while sporting a rather….creepy smile.

"If he tries anything, I'm sure I can handle him," Sento spoke, putting stuff together, "I still need the parts to make it fly…"

"Someone say parts?" Rex's voice spoke, making Sento turn as a large pile of gears, metal, springs, and cores was placed before him by Rex in what looked to be a bag made from the remains of a carpet of sorts, "You were right...those Guardians made for good venting. Even took out some turret ones and some flying ones."

"Oh good, you brought just the parts I needed!" Sento cheered, "Oh heads up. Some creep is watching us, so be ready to punch if he moves too close." he spoke up as he got back to work repairing and rebuilding.

"Wha...creep?" Rex looked in the same direction as Sari, "WHEN DID HE GET HERE!?"

"That's what I wanna know!" Sari exclaimed, "I look away one moment and the next he's just standing there...all creepy!"

"Like I said, just be ready to punch him." Sento spoke, "I'll check him for loot after…"

"Don't just say stuff like that!" both complained.

"I am a wanted man in my home dimension...you do what you gotta do." Sento spoke as he put one last metal panel in place, "Done, and now you're a flight type."

The small Guardian he repaired let out a set of beeps as it used the propellers on its back to hover around the area.

"Well..it seems happy," Rex noted, he and Sari looking away from the window for a moment.

"It can fly now. And now I know how this...energy they run off of works. I can't say I can control it, but in a pinch...I think I can hack magic." he smirked.

"Wow...you...are scary good, S-"

"HELLO!"

"Ahh!" Rex and Sari yelped as they turned, seeing the merchant was now right before them, standing in front of the window.

"I couldn't help but notice you three were travellers, and are perhaps hungry and need food," the merchant noted as his smile grew, "Well today...I have a special offer for you on bananas!"

"...Bananas?" Rex asked, a bit skeptical on that, "You're a merchant...who sells bananas?"

"More like he sells lots of things…" Sento spoke up, "I see...you're that type of pushy salesmen...and here I thought your kind only existed in my nation…" he mused, "Gomen...but we don't have money from this land. We are travelers who deal in bartering."

"Oh ho no. I don't want your money," the merchant assured.

"You don't?" Sari raised a brow.

"Of course~! I just have one...simple...fee," the merchant stated...before he exploded in a plume of smoke and O-fuda cards as a red garbed ninja leapt at them with a sickle knife, their face covered by a pure white mask with a red upside down version of the emblem on Link's Sheikah Slate on it, "Offer your lives to the Great Calamity Ganon!"

Sento said nothing as he raised his hand...and, in a blur, punched the ninja in the face, sending him flying high into the sky. He looked down at his watch before taking a step back. He then spun around and landed a roundhouse kick to their back sending them flying off again into the distance.

"So those types exist, too…" Sento sighed as Rex and Sari gawked at his inhuman power, "Great...now there's cultist ninja assassins…" he sighed, patting his coat as he went back to his materials, "But that just means it's okay for us to beat up creepy people." he cheered.

"Can we go back to the part about him being a clustist that tried to take our heads?" Rex spoke up, holding a hand up as if he were a student asking a question.

"It would stand to reason there are people in this world that...worship Calamity Ganon," Sento explained.

"Stand to reason? That's messed up!" Rex pointed out.

"...Human...or...whatever the proper term for the folks here is...People in general are scared and timid. They first think about what will ensure survival and a peaceful existence. Sometimes this mindset alone can lead to peaceful and simple lives. But other times, the fear and learning to accept dark things as natural leads to people who truly think if they accept this evil...it will lead to a somewhat peaceful life for them," he explained, "I'm a scientist, a good one. When I think about things like belief and religion...naturally, my mind calls them nonsense and foolishness. But I'm also someone who loves people, and sadly, those beliefs in higher power can lead them down dark paths…" he sighed, putting down his tools, "But on the other end of that, sometimes faith and belief in an unseen power...is just what people need, to deal with the pain of real life. As a scientist...I believe in making inventions to ease that pain. But...sometimes it's better to give them hope as well." he slapped the Guardian, making it spin around a bit before making it beep at him in anger, "Hope, Peace, love...those sound like much better things to strive for to me."

"...You know, you and Optimus would get along," Sari spoke up with a small smile, "Hope and peace...that sounds like something you two can discuss and talk about."

"You're a lot different from my brother…" Rex noted, "You sound a lot more crazy...but fun." he chuckled.

"I tend to get a good reaction from people" Sento smiled a bit, "Now then..let us be off a-"

"INCOMING~!"

"Hmm?" Sento blinked before he looked out the window, "...ahh...I advise we move."

"Why?" the two asked.

"Because there is a curled up Goron that I assume is Ben rolling this way with Kazumi on top of him."

"Wait, what?" both blinked twice.

"OUTTA THE WAY! OUTTA THE WAY!" Kazumi shouted.

"Hmm…" Sento looked around, "Rex, use your big arms and pick up that tree trunk...and slam it down exactly here." he pointed at a spot right in front of them after pointing out an old dead tree right outside.

"Ahh! R-right!" Rex nodded as he quickly rushed out, bringing out his robotic arms as he quickly grabbed the tree Sento pointed at and rushed to slam it into the spot before Sento and Sari.

Sento looked at his watch just as the rolling Goron slammed into the tree as it cracked...and buckled in such a way that it curved, making them loop around and crash into the ground. Both groaned before a green flash went off and Ben replaced the Goron.

"You three okay?" Sari asked.

"We're alright," Skurd replied, "Well...I am fine, at least. We seem to have taken the wrong turn on our way to the Zora's Domain."

"But...good news…" Kazumi groaned as he stood up, holding up a large sack, "Got you...those rocks...Sento."

"Ahh...excellent then," Sento smiled a bit, "What else happened?"

"Well...we found out about this Calamity Ganon thing…" Ben grunted as Rex and Sari helped him up, "Turns out...he's been around for a long time, at least 10,000 years, and the only two people that can stop him are these two called 'Link' and 'Zelda.'"

"And?"

"We told the Bard Kass about what happened with Vah Rudania during our little excursion on Death Mountain," Skurd added, "Learned from a rather interesting fellow by the name of Yunobo. It turns out that this Link fellow helped calm the beast down."

"Beast?"

"Yes. The Divine Beast that rests on top of Death Mountain."

"...Oh! We've heard about those!" Sari gasped, earning a look from Ben and Kazumi, "We found an intact book in a house near the castle, but the rest was either too old or too burnt to even read."

"Wait, you found a book about it?" Ben asked.

"Yep," Sari replied.

"Wow. The paper in this world is durable if it lasted 100 years and didn't break apart when you so much as breathed on it," Ben admitted.

"It's probably magic paper," Sento sighed, "Also the trees here are much more durable then any wood I've seen on Earth. They might even be a strange species of tree we've never seen. Paper made from it could be durable." he tapped his chin, "I need to get some seeds from these trees."

"Probably a good use if we need a campfire," Ben added, "But moving on. We got you the materials you needed from Death Mountain, so now I can go meet up with Makoto and I am suddenly being lifted up."

"Perfect! Just one of the people I wanted to find!" Makoto beamed, holding Ben up by the scruff of his shirt before looking at Sento, "And you!"

"Ore?" Sento blinked before he was suddenly picked up, "Again with the being picked up like this..."

"I need a smart guy and you're the smartest person here!"

"You do realize kidnapping w-"

"We need help with a Divine Beast th-"

"ONWARDS!" Sento declared as suddenly the roles were...somehow flipped with who was kidnapping who.

"Wait! What about th-" Sari began as Sento ran off with Ben and Makoto, "...well...guess it's just us."

"He really just goes to the beat of his own drum," Rex muttered as he lifted up the large sack.

"Try living with him," Kazumi deadpanned, "He's a nightmare when creative...but also one to bad guys…"

"He does seem like the type of person you really don't wanna anger," Sari noted as the trio began to walk off.

"I know from first hand experience," Kazumi confirmed.

"...Former bad guy?" Rex guessed.

"Somewhat...I stopped after meeting her…"

"Her?"

"My story."

"...fair."

"...hmm. I wonder where she is?" Sidon pondered as he stood outside the entrance to Zora's Domain, "She didn't get ambushed, did she? ...No. She said she can handle herself, so I must put my believe in her a-"

"We're back~!"

"That was rather quick," Sidon noted as he looked ahead, blinking when he saw Sento carrying Makoto and Ben, "Hmm?"

"Yahoo~" Sento cheered happily.

"You are clearly not a normal man!" Makoto called out.

"I'm essentially a jinzo ningen!"

"Well...you've certainly brought back an interesting pair, Lady Makoto," Sidon noted.

"Yep," Makoto replied as she managed to wiggle out of Sento's hold, "These are Ben and Sento. Guys, this is Prince Sidon, the next in line to rule the Zora people. Oh, and the little sentient slime on Ben is Skurd."

"At least I was acknowledged," Skurd noted before giving a formal bow, "A pleasure, good prince."

"Hm...a rather strange looking Chu-Chu," Sidon noted before smiling a bit, "Regardless, a pleasure to meet you as well, Sir Skurd...oh! Lady Makoto, I must inform you that Link has taken Lady Lachan to go acquire some Shock Arrows."

"...Ah! I left her behind here!" Makoto realized as her tail shot up, "I was on such a genius high I forgot about her!"

"You left Lambda here?" Ben asked, "Oh Noel is not gonna like that…"

"I know~" Makoto whined, her ears drooping as she cried waterfall tears.

"But at least she's in good hands," Ben sighed a bit before looking at Sidon, "So where did they go to find some Shock Arrows?"

"At the mountain peak. They left to acquire them quietly...less they anger the Lynel resting there," Sidon explained.

"...Centaur-like creature, mane like a lion...real nasty looking?" Ben guessed.

"Why yes...how did you know?"

"...correction, Noel's gonna be mad at both of us," Ben whispered to Makoto as he began to pale.

"...I feel mad at Makoto and Ben…" Noel muttered.

"...Corgi pillow?" Ryuga offered, "If you boop the nose, it barks…"

Within a second, the pillow was taken out of Ryuga's hands, now being held by a cooing Noel as she snuggled against the pillow. Bobo, Ryuga, and Gentoku shared looks while looking between Ryuga's empty hands and the cooing Noel.

"...Nobody thinks about sacrificing me to the cute one," Bobo immediately spoke up.

"...Ah, gomen. I just did," Ryuga apologized.

"He just said not to think about it," Gentoku sighed.

"Oi, it's not my fault. When people say not to think about something, I end up thinking about it!"

"Ahh...So he has the foot in mouth syndrome as well," Rook noted from the back.

"Makoto is still Makoto across the multiverse…" Gentoku muttered.

"Oh, I was referring to Ben," Rook noted, "Comparing the two, Ben has the syndrome happen more often between them."

"Oh...wait. OI!" Ryuga snapped at that.

"Monkey boy talking stupid again?" Kazumi spoke as he, Rex, and Sari walked in.

"Wanna start something, tincan?" Ryuga growled

"Let's take it outside then, Muscle for brains…" Kazumi puffed out his chest and bumped into Ryuga.

"Least I'm not wearing some weird pot on my head," Ryuga countered as he bumped him back with his chest.

"Pot? What are...Oh, this helmet protects me from intense heat. Explains how I can be near ya right now with your temper tantrum."

"OI!"

"No. No fighting," Sari spoke up as she moved in-between the two, "We had a bit of a stressful day here..and we found out quite a bit about this world."

"Eh?" Ryuga blinked at that.

"What have you learned?" Rook asked as he walked into the room.

"For one? The big smoke that turns into a pig head at that wrecked castle? It's called Calamity Ganon," Rex explained, "A hundred years ago, it wrecked the entire kingdom that castle was part of, Hyrule, by taking over its protectors." he pointed out the window at the moss-covered offline machine, "Those things. They're called Guardians, but Ganon used them to destroy the kingdom."

"We also found that there are these four giant robot animals called the Divine Beasts that were supposed to help fight that guy only for him to kill the Champions meant to pilot them," Kazumi added, "So far, two of them have been calmed down thanks to someone getting onto them and that they're called 'Link.'"

"Wait, Link?" Rex asked, "Sari, wasn't 'Link' the name of one of those two mentioned in the book?"

"That's right…" Sari recalled as her eyes widened, "...but...it can't be the same Link, can it?"

"Could be named after him," Rex suggested.

"Regardless, we may need to be very careful then," Rook advised, "Once Ben and the others return, perhaps we can discuss with them and see what they have learned."

"Speakin' of, weren't you supposed ta be wit' the others and brain boy with them?" Bobo asked.

"Ben and I ran into them after we got carried away by a rolling Goron and then Makoto came and swiped Ben and Sento only for Sento to swipe her and Ben instead," Kazumi replied.

"...Just Makoto?" Rook asked, glancing over at the still-distracted Noel.

"Yes. ...Ah…" Kazumi paused before paling, 'Where was La-chan!?'

"...Lynel...huge," Lambda whispered with a slight gulp, hiding behind a large rock with Link, the Hylian having replaced his shirt with a blue and silver Zora-themed armor that completely covered his upper body from the waist up to just under his head, as they spied upon a rather large centaur-like creature.

The creature was large, roughly the size of a monster truck. Each movement it made as it seemed to patrol around the mountaintop clearing showed the multitude of well-toned powerful muscles coating its dark frame. Bandages tightly bound each of its four powerful horse-like lower legs with tufts of dark red fur emerging from beneath them and above the pitch black hooves. Several scars littered its body, two clearly evident on its left pectoral and left shoulder. A bronze-colored armored plate covered the part where humanoid met equine with small bits of bronzed armor consisting of an armlet and a shoulder pauldron with leather belt going across its muscular frame decorated the humanoid upper torso. Its dark red tail was braided as was the massive, wild dark red mane that engulfed its lion-like head that sprouted two large, gnarled horns that curved like those of a ram. Upon its back were three monstrous weapons consisting of a thin silver and dark-red bow, a shield made of a bronze ring and a massive axe blade, and a two-handed broadsword with a bronze hilt with a chain connecting from the blade to the butt of the sword.

Link stood quiet as he eyed the quiver on its back, sporting various arrows with bits of electricity crackling off them, their arrowheads made of a yellow crystal of sorts carved into the shape of two bolts of lightning 'hitting' the wood of the arrow. Lynels...He had heard how dangerous they can be. Eagle eye accuracy, swords that can rend even the strongest armors, muscles to endure relentless attacks...and speed that can prove deadly fatal if not dodged at the right moment. He glanced at Lamba and noticed her shaking as her eyes were locked on the Lynel. She flinched when he put his hand on her shoulder and she looked at him. He gave her an assuring smile, trying to convey it would be alright.

"...Ok. Be...brave," Lambda whispered with a nod.

Link smiled a bit before looking back at the Lynel, a serious look on his face as he slowly unsheathed his broadsword, grasping it tight in both hands. He motioned his head to the quiver on the Lynel's back, indicating that Lambda will go in and grab it while he distracts it. Lambda nodded and blushed again when Link gave her another smile at her agreement with the plan. Within a moment's notice, he quickly rushed out of his hiding spot, giving a loud whistle as he did.

The Lyenel gave a savage growl, stopping in its track as it saw the young warrior running right towards it, prompting the beast to give a loud roar as it charged right at him, shield and broadsword pulled out. The Lynel swung both arms at Link, attempting a stabbing 'hug' of sorts, only for the smaller fighter to quickly jump to the side and slash with his strange broadsword, striking the Lynel just as it entered the water of the small pond. A burst of electricity erupted from the sword and caused the massive beast to bellow out and made it collapse to a knee.

"Impressive…" Lambda noted before blinking twice when it rose up and had its back to her, "Ah...opening."

Link grunted as he barely avoided a swinging swipe from the Lynel's sword, making the beast growl out as it skidded to a halt and drift into a turn. It was about to charge before it felt something on its back, making it turn to see Lambda upon its back as she reached for its quiver. The Lynel roared out as it began to buck and grunt, trying to get the girl off its back as she held on tight. Link pulled out his Sheikah Slate and tapped on it three times. The moment he tapped it the third time, the Lynel was about to buck once more. As it began to stomp forward for the buck, it was knocked off balance by a rectangle of ice suddenly erupting from the water it was on, glowing white patterns appearing within the ice. The sudden startlement let Lambda grasp the quiver just before the Lynel stomped down, breaking the ice and knocking her off into the air. Link crouched down before a green-tinted wind erupted around him and aimed towards the sky. With a quick jump, he pulled out a paraglider of sorts and the rising current grasped hard and let him take flight. He let go for a moment to catch the falling girl before deploying it once more as she held onto him. Despite it all, Link's focus remained sharply on the Lynel that was glaring at them with its glowing pale-green eyes...while neither paid attention to Lambda, who had froze up while holding onto Link and the quiver with her face practically glowing red with steam coming off the top.

'Chest...rapidly...beating…' Lambda thought, feeling her heart going at insane speeds at the moment, 'What is this...sensation….is this….love?'

Link glared at the Lynel for a moment as the beast growled out at him. The beast lost its arrows, meaning it couldn't fire from its bow anymore, leaving only its blade and shield to defend itself. However...with the current situation that was going on, he couldn't afford to waste time. He got what he needed. Now he just needed to get away from it and return to Zora's Domain. Rustling grass distracted Lambda from her thoughts as she looked in the noise's direction just in time to see the strange glowing rabbit-like creature poking out of some grass, not noticing the Lynel due to its focus on a mushroom near a tree. The Lynel let loose another roar that shook the area and the rabbit-like creature let out a startled squeak before fleeing back into the grass. Link readied himself to run as the Lynel prepared to charge…

*SHINK!*

...only to freeze up. Slowly, the head of the Lynel moved forward...before falling fully off, a clean cut in its neck. Link blinked a few times, looking down at his now empty hands and then up to a fully armored Lambda as her blades returned to her while she lowered her outstretched arm that had been aimed at the monster. In a flash, her armor vanished and she ran over to the grass, ignoring the dissolving body that left behind a few guts, a hoof, and one of the Lynel's horns and all its weapons. She parted the grass and pouted. The strange bunny had vanished again.

"Mmm…"

Link just blinked in amazement at that. Just...completely and totally taken by surprise. Just who was this girl?

"...Okay. What's his deal?" Ben whispered to Makoto, the brunette noticing Muzu glaring at the two from nearby.

"He's just really bitter given what happened a hundred years ago," Makoto whispered, "He blames the Hylians for what happened at the castle and for what happened to their princess…"

"Seriously?"

"You're not being subtle…" Sento spoke, slapping them both upside the head. The force of his blow knocking both down, and leaving large bumps on their heads.

"...is his hand...a hammer?" Ben groaned.

"Be glad he doesn't have Tsubaki's fan," Makoto grumbled.

"Okay...let me see if I got this straight…" Sento began as he moved back from the two and looked at Sidon, "Vah Ruta's generators are what's helping it spray out all this rain, and in order to shut off the rain for now...we need electricity to short out the generators and disable it."

"Originally we were planning on that, but Link is needed to tame Vah Ruta from within," Sidon explained.

"Really?" Ben asked.

"Indeed. He carries a special item known as the Sheikah Slate. From what I can understand, he can use it to tame Vah Ruta from within the Divine Beast," Sidon noted.

"That must have been what he used to get Van Rudania to stop rampaging on Death Mountain," Ben spoke.

"Interesting…" Sento muttered.

"Oop. I think I see Link and La-chan right now," Makoto spoke up, looking ahead to see a pair of figures walking over to them.

"Truly?" Sidon asked as he looked ahead, seeing Link and Lambda approaching them, "Oh! So they have! Welcome b-" he began before his eyes widened, seeing the weapon resting on Link's back, "Is that...the Lynel's sword and bow?"

Link gave a nod in response...while completely unsure how to tell them that Lambda was the one who took down the Lynel...in one blow.

"Oh my...this is truly fantastic news! Now we won't have to worry about the Lynel coming down from the mountains to attack the people!" Sidon beamed happily, 'At least...not until the next Blood Moon...which I hope does not happen this night.'

"Hmm...so you are Link, huh?" Sento asked as he approached Link, 'Or at least…a version of Link I've yet to see.'

"La-chan, I'm sorry for leaving you behind!" Makoto spoke up.

"It is fine…" Lambda whispered, a faint blush still on her cheeks as she held the quiver holding the Shock Arrows

"We...don't have to mention that to Noel now do we? Please?" Makoto put her hands together with a pleading smile.

"...no."

"Oh th-"

"In trade for Usagi…"

"...You're starting to become a bit spoiled, missy…" Makoto muttered before the elephant-like noise filled the air again, "...and that was Vah Ruta again…"

"...hmm…" Sento began to ponder, taking one of the Shock Arrows out of the quiver as he examined it, "Interesting…"

Link blinked a bit at Sento before looking at the statue of Mipha, Muzu looking up at the statue in sadness.

"...Just so you know…" the old Zora spoke as he glared at Link, "I have no desire to speak with you outsiders...especially you, Hylian."

"...Muzu, there is something you need to know," Sidon spoke up as he moved next to Link, "This man who stands here...the man named Link...is the one whom my sister, Mipha, had feelings for. I was only a child then, so I did not know it myself at the time...but it is so. I grew up hearing my father tell stories...some of which were about my sister's undying love for a Hylian named Link."

"?!" Muzu tensed up at that, "What?! No….you cannot fool me with such a fanciful lie. Not to this Zora!" he snapped before glaring at Link, "How could Lady Mipha possibly have feelings for a Hylian like him?!"

"A common saying I find where I come from is, Love...just is." Sento spoke up, "Another is; the heart wants what the heart wants. It's a very complicated feeling...I find it best to just accept it. Rather than question it."

"He makes a good point, Muzu," Sidon nodded, "And even if Link does not remember her...he was always a presence in Mipha's heart."

Link said nothing as his gaze focused on the statue of Mipha, looking on at it as the rain trickled down on it. As he looked on...he felt pieces of something forming...a memory of sorts. For some reason, when he looked at the statue, he felt happy...and yet….sad. It was then he felt a rush within his mind, the memory reforming within his mind as he closed his eyes.

-flashback-

"I was thinking...this reminds me of the time we first met," Mipha recalled, sitting next to Link as she held her hands over his injured arm, a faint blue light coming off them as the wound began to fade, "You were just a reckless child, always getting yourself hurt at every moment...and every time…" she paused as she gave him a soft smile, "I would heal you, just as I'm doing right now."

Link just smiled back as the wound on his arm was fully healed, Mipha moving her hands away from him as he moved his arm a bit.

"I thought it was funny how, being a Hylian, you looked grown-up so much faster than I did," Mipha continued before blushing slightly, "I was...I was always willing to heal your wounds. Even back then…" she said before looking out at the sunset, "So if this Calamity Ganon does, in fact return...what can we really do? We just don't seem to know much about what we'll be up against. But know this…" she paused as she looked back at him, "That no matter how difficult this battle might get, if you...if anyone ever tries to do you harm, then I will heal you. No matter when, or how bad the wound...I hope you know...that I will always protect you...and once this whole thing is over..." she looked down at her hands, bringing them together as she took a deep breath, "Maybe things can go back to how they used to be when we were young. You know…" she paused once again as she looked back at him with a soft smile, "Perhaps we could spend some time together."

-flashback end-

"?!" Link gasped as his eyes shot open, panting a bit as he took a step back.

"Woah now…" Ben spoke as he and Makoto caught him just as he was about to fall over, neither noticing the Omnitrix turn yellow when its face grazed the Zora Armor.

"What is the matter, Link? Are you unwell?" Sidon asked in concern.

"Hmm….you're quivering like a hatchling," Muzu noted, "Whatever is the matter?"

"...I think…" Makoto spoke up, looking between Link and the statue of Mipha for a moment, "He just got his memories of Mipha back."

"What?!" Muzu exclaimed as Link nodded in response, "Grr...do not mistake me for a fool! There is no way he remembered her just now, when it is most convenient!"

"The brain...is a complex thing." Sento spoke, "In as many ways it is the most amazing thing in the world, infinitely complex. But in others...it is still oh so simple."

"...if this is true, then I demand he show me proof! I…" Muzu began.

"The Zora Armor…" Lambda spoke up, earning everyone's attention, "Before leaving, I...read up on Zora culture...it is said the Zora Armor is crafted by each generation of the Zora Princess...to give to their future husband."

"What?! Surely you...wait…" Muzu paused, his anger starting to fade as he began to think, "That Zora Armor...the one his majesty gave you before. Lady Mipha made that by hand..." he looked over at Link now with wide eyes, "And it fitted him perfectly…what is the meaning of this?!"

"Now you understand…" Sidon spoke, "Now you know who her heart belonged to and who she made that special armor for. The fact the Zora Armor fit Link perfect should be proof enough that Mipha made it for him and him alone!"

"And given how bitter you seem to act towards outsiders...especially Hylians, there's probably a good reason why she never told you," Makoto added.

"..." Muzu said nothing as he seemed to hang his head down, "Then...the princess truly did love him…"

"I'm pretty sure that's what has been said several times now…" Sento muttered.

"Shh…" Makoto hushed him.

"Muzu, now you see Link is truly trustworthy," Sidon stated as he looked at Muzu, "And we need his help..along with Lady Makoto and her friends to help tame Vah Ruta...so if there is anything you may know, please...tell us."

"...from what one of the scouting teams the king had sent out a few days ago informed his majesty, I believe there is an opportunity to strike," Muzu informed as he looked up, "When it rises from the water, the barrier surrounding Vah Ruta vanishes...giving you time to strike at the generators on its back. If you are looking to appease the Divine Beast, I estimate that you will need...hmm...at least twenty Shock Arrows."

"Well...good thing we got a quiver full," Makoto noted with a grin.

"If it just takes electricity...I'm more than able to help." Ben added.

"I will await at the East Reservoir Lake, right by the Divine Beast," Sidon informed the group, "Once you are all ready, come join me! Together, we shall all put a stop to the Divine Beast's onslaught!"

"I suppose we will require our own aquatic gear…" Sento muttered.

"What you got a shrinking submarine?" Ben asked.

"Sadly no…" Sento shook his head, "I lost it in this one dimension where I was helping these two creative boys have a fun summer day." he sighed, "But I do have other aquatic gear of note. I might even need to unlock something I only use in an emergency…"

"Hmm?" Makoto and Ben blinked at that with Link looking at Sento in confusion.

"Come, no time to waste. I have to invent!" Sento cheered.

"...we'll meet you guys once he's done," Ben stated to Link and Sidon.

"Very well. We shall await your return," Sidon nodded.

Link looked on at Ben for a moment before smiling, giving a nod as he shot him a determined look.

An hour seemed to have passed as Link and Sidon stood before a large lake of water, looking out in the distance to see a large, robotic Elephant submerged into the water, its trunk raised up as it let out an endless stream of water from it and its back. Link had a serious look upon his face, the young Hylian wearing a set of blue and silver armor themed after a Zora with bronze fish scale-like armor underneath the pauldrons and around his waist and upper legs. A green flash soon caught his attention, prompting him to turn to see Ben and Makoto running up to him.

"Hey. Sorry we're late, w-HOLY...!" Makoto gawked once she noticed the robotic Elephant, "That's the Divine Beast?! It's huge!"

"I guess it make sense for it to be...given what it's doing…" Ben muttered.

"It is good to see you two return, but…" Sidon paused as he looked around, "Where is Sir Sento? Was he not with you?"

"He said he'll catch up…" Ben sighed, "Something about needing a bit more time with whatever he was making."

"I did." Sento spoke, suddenly appearing as everyone jump in shock at his sudden appearance.

"You...but...how...and we.,.." Ben gasped.

"Oh please...I have my methods of getting around." Sento smirked, "Anywho," he reached into his jacket and pulled out a blue gem, "Makoto set this into your Proto-Suit." he tossed it to her.

"Ooh~ Upgrade," Makoto whispered in slight excitement as she tapped the front of her Proto-Suit, causing a slot to slide out as she set the gem in it and slid the slot back into place.

A Blue flash went off as her armor began taking on a deep aquatic blue color. Lighter blue accents formed across it before the multiple pouches turned silver. Makoto blinked, looking herself over and wondering what just happened.

"Now your suit is fully aquatic." Sento explained, "It will prevent you from sinking. It has an emergency air supply of four hours should you need to dive, and you don't even really need to swim as your boots have aquatic jets to propel you through the water. Oh...also it's self drying...tail included."

"Woah~" Makoto awed at that.

"All that from that one gem?" Ben blinked.

"I got the idea from the things I've seen in this world. Crystals that can hold data, memory and alter things when used in conjunction with another." Sento explained, "I made one for you, and a few more to take home later. As for you Ben...give me your Omnitrix arm for a second."

"Eh?"

"Just listen to the genius," Skurd whispered to Ben, "I'm slightly curious what he has in store."

"Don't worry. I'm not gonna break it, or make Azmuth mad." Sento smiled as he took Ben's arm and began tapping on the faceplate and typed away for a few moments.

"As expected, when Mai told me it had an owners manual, I could only imagine that Azmuth programmed in modes." Sento smiled, "And if I'm right, now your Omnitrix will autoselect aquatic aliens to keep you alive for the adventure."

"Autoselect?" Ben blinked.

"Did you really think you were always picking the right alien on your own?" Sento blinked, earning small silence from Ben. He then snorted to hide a laugh.

"Oh you poor boy…" Skurd shook his head.

"You knew?!" Ben exclaimed.

"Of course I knew!..I just didn't want to tell you."

"Truly the land you all came from must be advanced if its capable of this," Sidon noted in interest before smiling, "But nevertheless, now that we are here! We can begin!" he declared, doing his signature pose before he backflipped and dove into the water. A few moments passed before he resurfaced and looked at the group, "Gaze now upon the Divine Beast's back," he informed as he pointed at Vah Ruta, the group looking to see bright pink orb-shaped generators resting in small alcoves above the waterfalls pouring from the Divine Beast, "Do you see those glowing pink orbs? You will need to shoot each of them with a Shock Arrow. Link, since you wear the Zora armor, you will be able to ascend to them easily, as if swimming up a waterfall. I shall take you right up to the side of the Divine Beast, and from there you can swim up and take aim at the orbs!"

"That doesn't seem too hard." Ben noted.

"It has powerful means of self defense, doesn't it?" Makoto asked Sidon.

"Correct," Sidon nodded as he confirmed the question, "It is capable of creating blocks and spiked balls of ice to attack and defend itself should it feel threatened. Many Zora warriors were injured during previous attacks on Vah Ruta."

Link nodded a bit at that before looking down at the Sheikah Slate, an idea forming in his head to hopefully deal with the ice.

"So this means we need to get in close, avoid ice attacks, and electrocute those orbs," Sento listed, "And after that, I assume we must enter the inside and work on fixing it?" when Sidon nodded in confirmation, Sento looked around at everyone, focusing on the Sheikah Slate for a moment and then turned to Makoto and Ben. His eyes focused intently for a moment as his mind worked away quickly on an idea, "Well, I think I have a useful plan." he smiled.

"?" Link blinked at that.

"Oh? Care to tell us what it is, Sir Sento?" Sidon asked in curiosity.

"Attacking four generators at once will take considerable time and effort." he explained, "Even with master aim, Link on his own could only take down two at a time with the right opening. Then let's do all four at the same time."

"...Oh, I get it…" Makoto bopped her fist into her open hand, "...Well kinda, but I assume you want us to take each side of Vah Ruta and attack all four orbs at once...right?"

"Exactly," Sento smiled.

"So we gotta survive the ice, then get up to the orbs," Ben muttered.

"I think I can help with the ice." Sento smiled, "Ironically, I don't actually have a tool or option to reliably generate electricity...go figure."

"..." Link blinked for a moment before it dawned on him, grabbing the Sheikah Slate before pointing at it as he looked at Sento, as if asking 'you want to use this, don't you?'

"Exactly." Sento nodded, "I'll provide you some cover while you focus on the orbs."

"Ahh..most excellent plan!" Sidon grinned at that before turning, "Link, climb onto my back! I can get you close enough to swim up to one of the orbs!"

Link nodded, giving Sento the Sheikah Slate before he dove right into the water and swam up to Sidon.

"...wait…" Makoto spoke up, earning Ben's attention, "What's gonna happen if Link and Sidon see you transform, Ben?" she whispered to her boyfriend.

"Just say it's magic." Sento spoke up, "It works wonders."

"Ahh...fair enough," Makoto shrugged as Ben activated the Omnitrix.

"May as well give them a somewhat familiar face," Ben noted before pushing down on the Omnitrix and transformed into Ripjaws, "And what better form for a water attack then Ripjaws?"

"Once again, fair enough," Makoto nodded as she jumped into the water, "Alrighty! Let's go tame a robo-elephant!"

"Alright, so what's your plan?" Ripjaws asked, looking at Sento, "You said you have tricks of your own."

"Hmm…" Sento smirked.

"...You're not gonna tell us aren't you?" Makoto muttered.

"You see the grin...What do you think?" Skurd questioned, gesturing to the grin on Sento's face.

"Oh...you'll see," Sento nodded simply.

"...Fair, I guess," Ripjaws muttered as he jumped into the water, "I could probably go up those falls, too, while I'm like this. Skurd, when I do, give me some electric firepower."

"Easy enough," Skurd assured.

"A-Amazing…" Sidon blinked in surprise, him and Link looking at Ripjaw in surprise, "Was that magic just now?"

"In a way," Ripjaws answered as he swam over with Makoto on his back.

"But not important at the moment," Makoto added as she noticed Vah Ruta moving its body around a bit, "I think Vah Ruta just sensed us."

"Right! Then let us make way posthaste!" Sidon declared before he swam off at high speeds, "We shall handle the right! Lady Makoto, you and Sir Ben deal with the left!"

"Got it!" Ripjaws nodded as he prepped himself, Makoto holding onto him as he took off, "Hang on tight, babe!"

"Already doing so!"

Vah Ruta gave a loud trumpet as the air around the robotic elephant began to glow for a moment. Blocks and spiked balls of ice began to form in the air and emerged from the water close to the mechanical elephant before they shot off at the two intruders.

Both Sidon and Ripjaws began to swerve out of the way of each block of ice as the spiked balls pursued after them, closing in on them until they suddenly shattered into bits of ice. Both Makoto and Link looked back at Sento as he focused on the Sheikah Slate, aiming it at the ice chasing after both swimmers as he tapped it each time.

"Get those Shock Arrows ready," Sidon advised, swimming towards one of the waterfalls Vah Ruta was producing.

Link nodded as he jumped off Sidon's back just as he passed the waterfall, leaping right into it as he began to swim up it with no problem.

"Almost...almost…" Makoto whispered as Ripjaws was nearing another of the waterfalls.

"Get ready and…" Ripjaws spoke before Makoto jumped into it, activating the aqua jets in her boots, "Go for it, Makoto!"

"YAHOO! I love this upgrade!" Makoto whooped as she shot up the falls.

"And now for us," Skurd noted, gesturing to the other waterfall.

"Here goes something," Ripjaws noted, crossing his webbed fingers for a moment before shooting over towards the second set of falls on his and Makoto's side and proceeded upwards on it, "Skurd, got something to blast it with?"

"Have a little Gimlinopithecus," Skurd replied just as Ripjaws made it to the top and shot into the air as Link and Makoto did.

Skurd extended out and engulfed Ripjaw's right hand before his slime reshaped and solidified, turning into a blaster shaped like Shocksquatch's head with the open maw acting as the barrel. Makoto activated the shock feature of her gauntlets as Link pulled out his obtained Lynel Bow and loaded a single Shock Arrow into it. Once they were high enough, each one fired off their respective electric attacks at the orbs on each side, Link's single Shock Arrow actually splitting into three identical ones that had two strike the orbs, an electric surge going off each orb as they changed to a calming green color.

"They did it!" Sidon exclaimed as the three landed right back into the water, "That was astounding!"

Vah Ruta let out another trumpet, the area rumbling for a moment as it began to lower its trunk back into the water. As its trunk sank back into the water, the rain began to slowly fade away as the clouds began to part to show a crystal clear blue sky. A few moments passed as Vah Ruta began to rise out of the water a bit, revealing a platform with bits of water dripping off it.

"...The rain stopped," Lambda noted, looking up at the sky as she stood near the statue of Mipha, "Mission success?"

"Well Link...here we are," Sidon noted, swimming over to the revealed platform with Link on his back once more, "Looks like this is where the real work starts...best of luck." he said as he looked back at Link, Ripjaws, and Makoto, "All of you, nice job cutting off the water flow from this Divine Beast."

Link nodded before a faint explosion went off, prompting him to look back to see Sento flying past them, riding on top of a chunk of ice as it flew him over to the platform. Huh...He must have found the two Bomb Runes...and did he use Stasis on ice created by the Cryo Rune? Huh...He didn't think to do that.

"Showoff…" Skurd muttered before they got to the platform and got on it, Ben changing back to normal once he was on.

"Good luck. I'll see you back at Zora's Domain," Sidon informed.

"Wait, you're not coming inside with us?" Makoto asked.

"Sadly, I cannot. I must check on my people," Sidon answered, "Once you're inside...show the enemies hiding within no fear."

"We've gotten this far, so should be easy enough," Makoto nodded before the area rumbled a bit followed by Vah Ruta beginning to further rise up out of the water.

"Farewell, my friends," Sidon said as he began to swim back, looking up at the group, "Finish the job, Link…"

"Interesting. It seems to have gone into a standby mode," Sento noted, looking up at the Divine Beast before handing the Slate to Link.

The Hylian nodded before he approached a podium of sorts emerging from the platform. In the center of it was an orange glowing Sheikah eye. He placed the Slate over the eye and it flashed blue.

=Travel Gate registered to Map=

"Travel Gate?" Sento repeated as Ben and Makoto jumped when the circular engraving they were looking at near the podium lit up with a blue light.

"...Guess he can travel back here if he needs to r-" Makoto began.

"Link, you're here…"

"Gh?!" Makoto tensed as she shot behind Ben, "Wh-who said that?!"

"Oh! I do apologize for startling you…" Mipha's voice apologized, "I did not expect Link to have travelling companions with him…."

"The boy is dying of lack of oxygen…" Skurd spoke.

"I can't help with Makoto...she's the same across dimensions," Sento shook his head, "But...this is unexpected. Is her spirit...trapped within?"

"Yes...you could say that," Mipha answered, "I must say...that I am so happy to see that this day has finally arrived. Now...Ruta can be freed of Ganon's Control...and free my spirit."

A sad look appeared on Link's face as he looked up, feeling guilty that he took so long to remember her...and regretting that he wasn't there for her in her final hour of need.

"You will need a map to prevent you from getting lost," Mipha informed the group, "The Guidance Stone inside contains the information you will need. But be aware...the Blight that had slain me has sentries walking around Vah Ruta...to keep an eye out for any intruders."

"That explains the unusual eye emerging from the sludge atop this path within," Skurd noted as he pointed at the top of the path ahead of them where a tiny pool of a malignant purple, red, and black sludge resided with black 'bones' making a barrier were emerging along with an eyestalk with a ominous glowing orange eye amidst the 'bones.'

"Probably best…" Ben grunted as Makoto released him, letting him breath for a moment as he panted, "To not touch that black goop then."

Link nodded in response before putting his Lynel Bow away and pulled out a wooden bow out, aiming at the eye before shooting a regular arrow into it, causing it to 'hiss' in pain before the eye and the sludge vanished in a puff of smoke, letting the group walk further inside.

"...And it just got spookier," Makoto whispered, holding onto Ben's arm as the group looked around.

"Given how long it's been since someone has been inside, it would stand to reason…" Sento began before he narrowly avoided a laser shot. He blinked for a moment as the group looked ahead, seeing what looked like a smaller Guardian with three robotic limbs, its optic glowing as it prepared to fire off another shot.

"So these are in here, too..." Ben muttered before blinking as Sento vanished.

Everyone turned as the Guardian was suddenly kicked high up into the air before crashing back down where it once stood. Sento used his fingers to gauge distance.

"Everybody down!" he lifted his leg back. He then swung and with amazing force launched it outside...and into the distance where it just blinked away with how far it flew.

Link blinked in surprise at that, looking between Sento and where the Guardian once stood...today was just full of surprises for him.

"He...is not your normal nerd…" Ben muttered.

"...Someone didn't skip leg day," Makoto whispered before she noticed a nearby pool of water, faintly seeing more of the black sludge and another eye underneath the water. She then followed the trail of sludge as it covered buts of an iron gate, a similar pedestal much like the one outside standing right behind the bars, "...and I think I found what we needed to look for...but more of the goop is blocking the way."

Link followed the direction her head was aimed at and spotted the underwater eye. He notched another arrow into his wooden bow and let it fly, going into the water and nailing the eye. The eye and sludge dissolved and Link nodded, putting his bow away to pull his Sheikah Slate out. With a quick tap, a block of ice formed, raising the gate. He quickly entered and approached the podium. Unlike the one outside, the podium inside had a rectangular opening in the center. He placed the Sheikah Slate on a groove at the bottom of the opening. The Slate spun around so its screen faced Link before lying down into the opening. It rotated counterclockwise before settling into the podium. He looked up at the ceiling where a strange stalagmite-like structure laid.

=Sheikah Slate authenticated. Distilling map of Divine Beast=

The 'stalagmite' began to glow with a blue light as the others entered. Pale-blue glowing symbols began to flow down from the top of the 'stalagmite' to the very bottom of it where the strange eye symbol laid, missing its 'teardrop.' As more and more of the symbols flowed down into it, the 'tear' began to form until, as the final bit of the symbols flowed down, it dropped down onto the Sheikah Slate.

=Map data installed. Divine Beast controls have been enabled=

"Wait...We can control this thing now?" Makoto blinked at that.

"To a limited extent," Sento spoke up, "Something tells me...it is not that easy." he looked around, "Lots of cleaning up to do."

Link nodded in agreement as the Sheikah Slate popped back up, letting him retrieve it as he and the others looked at the screen, showing a 3D map of Vah Ruta with five glowing spots shown on different parts of the Divine Beast, one of them at the very end of the trunk.

"Good. You've obtained the map of the Divine Beast," Mipha's voice spoke up once more, "You will see several glowing points on your map, each representing the terminals that control Ruta. Take Ruta back by activating all the Terminals, and please...be careful, Link."

"It says there's one nearby, but I don't see…" Ben began before he noticed another pool of water nearby, seeing what looked like the top of a pedestal poking out with various chains surrounding it, "There it is...and…" he paused as he noticed a set of gears nearby, "Something tells me we're gonna need to turn those to get it out of the water." he looked at the gears and saw a large metal handle on the bottomost one, "And I think I know how." he turned on the Omnitrix and pushed down once he made his choice, turning into Lodestar =Alright, now to see if my 'magnetic' personality is still good even here=

Link blinked several times and turned to Makoto while pointing at Lodestar as the alien began to use his magnetic powers to start turning the handle that began to turn the gears.

"That bracelet he wears lets him take on different forms with their own abilities for a set amount of time," Makoto explained, "He's had it since he was ten after it fell on him."

=Hey, it fell into the forest where I was camping nearby. It didn't fall on top of me= Lodestar defended as the terminal finished rising up =...Well it kinda landed near me...and my 'bracelet' kinda leapt onto my arm when I went to go check it out=

"Don't ask about the booger," Makoto stage-whispered.

"And can and will use Bloxx's artillery on the floor outside your bedroom one day, missy," Skurd warned as Link, wisely, went to the terminal and put the Slate on it, causing the pillar-like piece atop the terminal to start glowing a soft blue and reveal the intricate patterns upon its surface.

=That's one terminal down…= Lodestar spoke as he changed back into Ben, "And four more to go…"

"And from what I recall about the map, there's three more above us and one on Ruta's trunk," Makoto added, "...and we only have one Shiekah Slate, so...it's probably gonna take us a while to activate the rest."

"Not to mention, who knows what other surprises are waiting for us here," Sento added, "It might be best to go slow and steady. Stay together so nothing can surprise us."

"Good idea," Ben said as he and Link nodded in agreement. He then looked around for a moment to see a much larger console in the room next to them, standing before a large bulbous-like structure, "...and I'm betting that's the Main Control Unit...probably best to save for last."

Link nodded at that. He looked at the map of Ruta for a few moments before pointing to a path outside. As the group began to travel outside, a Guardian began to step out of the shadows of a waterwheel, its head rising up as a thin robotic limb with a glowing blue sword poked out. It charged at the group before Link quickly turned and blocked its incoming slash with his shield.

"And now they're sneaky…" Makoto spoke up as everyone turned and was ready to fight.

Link pulled out his bow again and another arrow. The arrowhead looked more like an orb seemingly made from the same material as the Guardian. Once he had notched it, the end of it glowed and formed a blue arrowhead like the blade held by the Guardian. He quickly fired it and the arrow nailed the Guardian right in the eye. It stumbled back, sparking for a few moments, before it fell over and exploded, leaving behind several parts and pieces. Sento blinked once, then once more...and then a cowlick popped up.

"What...was that?" Sento asked, curiosity piqued, as he fast walked over to Link.

"Hey! You can invade personal space later!" Makoto spoke up, catching him before he could torment the poor boy.

"Boo…" Sento pouted, "...But fine. It'll have to wait…" he muttered before Link pulled the Sheikah Slate back out to look at the map, "Hmm…" he muttered as he walked over to check the map, "Hmm...one on the trunk, two in what I assume are waterwheels, and another around the head…" he looked out at the trunk for a moment as an idea formed into his head, "...Makoto, once the trunk raises up, I want you to do a running jump."

"...I'm climbing up a giant robotic elephant's trunk," Makoto realized, "Well, I climbed Trumbipulor's trunk when he went giant after eating those peanuts, so this shouldn't be as hard."

"IwaswrongIwaswrongIwaswrong!" Makoto frantically screamed as she scaled up Vah Ruta's trunk...while being chased by several floating skeletal heads.

"Because of course this gunk can produce flying skeleton heads," Ben sighed as Link took aim at a spot higher up on the trunk and fired a normal arrow from a sleek metal bow, striking another eye and causing the strange sludge to vanish along with a mouth made of it.

"Thanks!" Makoto shouted, shooting past a small treasure chest bolted to the trunk for a moment as she climbed up to the top of the trunk. She then climbed down and pulled out the Sheikah Slate from her tail and pressed it against the center of the console, activating it as she quickly climbed back up the trunk and jumped onto the small platform that had the treasure chest on it, "Another console down! ...and, oh hey! Free treasure chest!" she beamed once she spotted the chest and opened it...and saw it was filled with some Guardian parts, "...mmm...Just junk."

"Not junk if it can prove useful!" Sento argued, "Bring it down with you!"

"Hah?! Okay, I guess…" Makoto muttered.

"Bring me stuff and I'll make more upgrades for your suit!"

"That's motivation right there!" Makoto cheered as she began to stuff the parts into her tail with haste before blinking twice, "Huh?" she pulled out the last thing inside of it, "Is this…?" she grinned, "Hey, Sento~!"

"What?" Sento asked.

"I CALL DIBS ON THIS ONE IN MY HAND!" Makoto shouted.

"Again with that," Sento sighed as Makoto made her way down, "Is it another thing that looks like an acorn?"

"Nope," Makoto replied...before she held up a broken Sheikah Slate, "But I can let ya borrow it if ya can fix it."

"...Hmm…" Sento muttered as Link looked between his and the broken one in surprise, "You drive a hard bargain...and here I thought my world's version of you strong-arming me into making that armor was annoying…" he sighed, "But...fine, I'll fix it for you."

"Yay~!" Makoto cheered, Link making a mental note for later.

"Don't blame me when you end up making random ice blocks in your living room…" Sento sighed.

"Well from what I've seen, the ice part only works on water," Makoto simply argued, Link nodding in confirmation on that.

"I stand by my concern…" Sento added.

"Well, that was the second terminal down," Ben decided to move it along, "All we have left are the two on the second floor in those wheels and the one in its head."

"...hmm…I wonder…" Skurd whispered, looking at the waterwheels before looking back at the trunk, "...oh ho~! I see now...very clever."

"Eh?" the group blinked as they looked down at Skurd.

"Sir Link, mind moving Vah Ruta's trunk closer to that opening in the ceiling?" Skurd asked as he pointed out.

"?"

"Just trust me...it'll help us in the long run."

Link blinked at that before he nodded, tapping his Sheikah Slate as Vah Ruta's trunk began to move, causing the water it was spraying out to spray into the room and hit the water wheels, causing them to start turning and move.

"Now pay attention to the big wheel," Skurd advised as they watched as an orb on a pole in the wheel slid down to an indent in the center, causing a gate on the wheel to open and expose the terminal, "Now the only thing is how to keep that sphere in place when it goes upside down."

"Maybe some webbing from Spidermonkey could keep it in place long enough," Ben suggested.

"Sounds like a good idea," Makoto nodded before looking over the edge inside, seeing another water wheel turning with another terminal inside of it, "And if we wanna get to that one..we'll have to probably stop the water flowing onto it."

"...Well, good thing I borrowed this from my world's Kokonoe," Sento spoke, reaching into his pocket as he pulled what looked like a blaster with a wide nozzle and a glass container with an icy-blue liquid inside it.

"...Freeze gun?" Ben guessed.

"Yup. And…" Sento began as he turned, seeing a Guardian with a lance charging right at him...before it was frozen in a block of ice as he lowered the gun down, "It's fast acting, too…"

"Did you say you borrowed that from your world's Kokonoe?" Makoto blinked.

"Yeah...she hates it," Sento smirked, "I borrow a lot of her stuff if it helps my adventures. To be fair...if your password is so easy to guess...ahem. But regardless...we have a means to activate two terminals at once..."

"Indeed," Skurd nodded, "Once one person is down with the terminal in the bigger wheel, they toss it to the other and they activate the terminal in the smaller waterwheel."

"I'll take care of that one," Sento offered, "One of you will take care of the one inside the bigger waterwheel."

"I'll get the ball back into place to open the door," Ben said, turning on the Omnitrix again, "Come on, Spidermonkey." he slapped down and the green flash went off...and Bloxx looked at his hands, "Or...Bloxx. Bloxx can do it, too." Link tilted his head before poking Bloxx's shoulder and blinked, feeling the smooth surface that became bumpy between the colors changing, "Hey now. Stop that." Link held his hands up and backed away a step sheepishly.

"Boy was curious. Can you blame him?" Skurd argued.

"Not really, but we gotta focus," Bloxx replied as he moved towards the larger wheel and swung into the inner part.

The ball began to drop from the slot it had gone into before Bloxx quickly surrounded the pillar with himself, rising up to force the sphere to stay in its slot. Link narrowed his eyes and quickly ran towards the edge while crouching down. Makoto was about to move when the green-tinted winds erupted around him once more, sending him into the air on his glider and made his way to the opened door for the terminal in the larger wheel.

"What was that!?" Makoto exclaimed, "Did he just summon the wind?!"

"That must have been Revali's Gale," Mipha's voice spoke once more, making Makoto jump in surprise, "He must have freed Vah Medoh and Revali from the Ganon's Blight."

"...and uh...what is this Blight you mentioned?" Makoto cautiously asked.

"The beings summoned by Calamity Ganon to take control of the Divine Beasts," Mipha explained as Link activated the terminal in the larger wheel, "Each one made with the sole purpose of killing us to take control."

"Meaning it's still in here...and we're now stuck in here with it," Makoto noted as Link tossed the Sheikah Slate to Sento at the smaller wheel.

"I am sure that you will be alright. You have Link by your side," Mipha assured.

"Oh-hoh...Did my ears hear the affection in his name?" Makoto asked, earning silence, "...Really glad Noellie ain't in here. I'd be worried for the ghost girl stuck in here."

"Honestly same if my world's Noel were here," Sento admitted, using the freezegun to freeze the water that was spraying onto the smaller waterwheel, causing it to stop as he stepped in to activate the next terminal, "Just one more…"

"The one in the head," Bloxx noted as he and Link jumped back down to where Makoto was, "If I use Jetray, I can get to that one in no time flat and meet back up with you guys at the Main Control Console."

"Just remember that you need to access the map to move the trunk if you need it," Sento informed, handing Bloxx the Slate.

"Can do," Bloxx nodded as he tapped the Omnitrix symbol, engulfing him in green light as he changed into Jetray, "Alright...be back in a flash!" he informed as he took off into the air and flew off.

Link scratched his head. That form...it can fly like a Rito...but it has gills, meaning it can also swim like a Zora? That was...strange...to him. Very strange. He tilted his head in thought. Didn't he hear a story from a Zora about a missing link between Zora and Rito that was forgotten centuries ago? Was that it? ...He shook his head as he followed Makoto and Sento down towards the back of Ruta. Nah, that couldn't be possible. That would be as weird as if the Rito had once been Zora that became Rito after the world flooded instead of remaining as Zora.

"See anything yet, Skurd?" Jetray asked, flying outside of Ruta as he looked around the head.

"Nothing yet…" Skurd answered before he spotted something, "Wait...I spot an opening near one of the eyes...and more of those floating skeleton heads..."

"Meaning more black goop," Jetray muttered as he flew down to the opening Skurd spotted, seeing more of the black goop on the ceiling while more of the floating skeleton heads floated about, "Oh hey. There's the terminal….surrounded by fire."

"Should be easy enough if you use one of your water powered forms," Skurd stated as Jetray landed in front of the last terminal, which as he said...was surrounded by pillars of flames that spewed out from the floor, "Or use one of your more durable forms or fireproof ones such as NRG or Heatblast."

"Yeah, but would this Slate handle the heat?" Jetray asked.

"...hm. Good point," Skurd muttered.

"It looks like there's a crank in the goop," Jetray noted before aiming his tail at the eye and zapped it, causing the goop to dissolve before quickly shooting the skulls with his eye lasters, "Hmm...I wonder what will happen if I rotate this one." he tapped his emblem and switched to Lodestar, quickly using his magnetic power to spin the crank and cause the ceiling to open up =Ah, a view of the outside. And right above the flames. Meaning…= he switched back to Jetray and began to tap at the Sheikah Slate, "I can use this and Vah Ruta…" the trunk moved back and the water came through the new opening and down at the flames, extinguishing them, "And there we go."

"Perfect. Now the last terminal is ours!" Skurd dramatically declared as Jetray walked over to the terminal, placing the Sheikah Slate on it as he activated it.

"That's all the terminals activated," Mipha's voice spoke up, "You should be able to activate the Main Control Unit now. Be careful not to let your guard down."

Jetray just nodded as he took off into the air once more, flying right back into Vah Ruta as he flew towards the back, seeing the others down below and near the Main Control Unit.

"Ya know, I just realized something," Makoto noted, "Why are the main controls for the super advanced ancient robot meant to destroy a demonic force of death, destruction, and doom in the elephant's butt?"

"What I want to know is why does every Makoto I meet have to say a rare sentence," Sento replied.

"What? I'm legit curious here," Makoto argued as Jetray landed near the group and changed back into Ben, "Oh...hey, hun. Got the last terminal?"

"Yeah. Mipha said to not let our guard down," Ben replied as he gave the Slate back to Link.

Link nodded his thanks to Ben before he looked at the control unit with a determined look. He motioned for the others to stand back as he approached it. Once he was before the podium, he placed the Slate over the eye symbol...before jumping back as the smoke-like substance Ganon was made of erupted off the control unit before it formed a barrier of sorts around the control unit.

The group tensed up as a faint blue light began to form behind them, making them turn to see something starting to appear within the room. The left arm formed first, engulfed in armor and machinery akin to the Guardians and the Divine Beast they were within from the lower arm down. Instead of a hand, it had a strange cage-like item on a swivel that produced a massive spear made of the energy from the Guardian weapons. Its right arm formed next, made of the strange sludge-like material that had previously blocked their paths. It was thing, almost malnourished in appearance, with each tip ending in a sharp claw. Its frail-looking body formed next, made of the same sludge with bits of the Guardian-like armor growing out on its waist, part of its left pec and most of its right side. It had no legs, but a 'diaper' made of the armor that dripped with the sludge. Its head was engulfed in a piece of Guardian armor that made it resemble a front view of a hammerhead shark with a Guardian's optic in the center. A fiery red savage mane grew out of its head and went down its back, fused to the spine. It let out a bellowing roar that shook the chamber before assuming a fighting stance to attack.

"Please take care. That...thing is one of Calamity Ganon's creations," Mipha warned the group, "I put up as much of a fight as I could, but it proved to be my demise 100 years ago...falling to its ice before…" she paused as the being stared on at the group, "...Regardless, Link...I believe you and your friends are well prepared for this moment. I have faith in you...so please...defeat this Blight. Free Vah Ruta and my spirit!"

"A Blight to the Zora made by the monster Ganon," Skurd noted, "The Waterblight Ganon."

"And its spear is coming right for us!" Makoto yelped as the group quickly rolled out of the way of Waterblight Ganon's lunge with its weapon.

Link was quick to pull out the Lynel Bow and loaded a Shock Arrow into it. He quickly aimed and shot the arrow at the eye of the Blight, the arrow splitting into three upon launch. Waterblight Ganon knocked the first two arrows away as the third struck its eye, making it cry out in pain before it swung its weapon at Link, only for a flash of green light to go off as a wall of crystals blocked the incoming strike.

"Oh no ya don't!" Diamondhead declared as he made the crystals encase the spear, "Whatcha gonna do now, big guy?" Waterblight growled before dismissing the spear and reforming it, "Oh. You're gonna do that." he made a shield of crystals and blocked the stab of its spear, "Whoa now! If you keep focusing on me..." he smirked as three more Shock Arrows hit the Blight, making it roar out in pain, "...You're in for a real shock."

"You said it!" Makoto declared, jumping onto his shoulder and using it as a stand to jump at the stunned Waterblight, her gauntlets releasing a small mist of sorts, "So how about instead of getting heated up with the hits…" she slammed a punch into it, causing ice to grow on its body, "Why don't ya just chill?"

"Her puns are as horrible as ever..." Sento muttered, jumping away from any debris coming his way. He took a moment to closely examine all that was happening, his eyes darting around to take in everything.

Link was about to toss a boomerang at Waterblight Ganon before it became a sphere of light, moving past the group as it stopped and reformed near the Main Control Unit. Its free hand was soon engulfed in light as it began to raise it up, causing the water level to start rising as the lower half of its body began to rise up towards the ceiling.

"...Oh...Because of course it can control water!" Makoto complained as the water was deep enough for them to swim in. She then quickly noticed Link swimming towards a barely raised platform as he climbed onto it, "...not giving us much room either!"

"No…" Diamonhead began as he resurfaced, quickly changing back to Ben as he, Makoto, and Sento moved onto another platform to get out of the water, "...kidding."

"We may wanna dodge," Sento spoke up.

"...Why?" Makoto began before a large block of ice crashed into her, making her grunt out in pain as she was forced back into the water, "Ahh!"

"Makoto!" Ben exclaimed.

"That's why...it seems to have cryokinesis as well," Sento noted before sighing, "Really wish I had some time to study that broken one so we could have two Slates to break the ice it makes instead of just the one." as if to prove his point, Link was using their sole working one to break the blocks of ice heading for him.

"Do you have any ideas that can help?" Ben asked.

"...Well I have certain rules. Among those are I try not to meddle in other worlds. But...given you and Makoto are so alike...I'm worried that I'm going to have to break that rule," Sento spoke up, "So I'll tag in with you." Sento offered, holding his hand up, "You go help Makoto...and I'll help fight that thing."

"...Given you've surprised us so far...okay," Ben nodded as he smacked Sento's hand with his, "I'll trust you, man."

"I honestly wish to see this hidden power of yours myself, but...Ben has a certain squirrely woman to rescue," Skurd added.

"Right, "Ben nodded, turning the Omnitrix on and pressing down on it to turn into Ripjaws. However...instead of Ripjaws, he ended up in a red and cream Zora-like Form, this one seemingly based on an orca with scale-like chainmail armor covering his chest, the Omnitrix symbol on the armored collar around his neck as silver pauldrons covered his shoulders, "Woah...by the gods, I'm a Zora!"

"Ben…!" Skurd reminded.

"Oh right! Worry not, fair maiden of mine! I shall rescue thee!" Ben's new form declared as he dove right into the water. A few moments passed before he shot out of the water, holding onto a knocked-out Makoto as he landed on another of the floating platforms, "Are you alright, milady?"

"Ugh…"

"...I do apologize for this," he whispered before splashing some water onto her face.

"Ack! I just realized we fought Kamen Riders a-" Makoto began in surprise and shock before blinking, looking at the Zora before her before noticing a familiar symbol on his collar, "...Ben?"

"Please don't let him talk...Shakespear is rolling in his grave across the multiverse!" Skurd spoke up, "Ice!" he panicked as a block of ice flew at them.

=HAGANE NO MOONSAULT!=

With that, a figure jumped and kicked the block, suddenly sending it flying back at Waterblight Ganon knocking it over and into a wall. The figure landed before them as he hopped around a bit. His suit was mostly black with armor of red and blue intersecting across his body. His left arm and right leg were blue, with the right arm and left leg red. His helmet was black with a red and blue intersecting mask. The left optic of his mask was red and shaped like a rabbit while the right was blue and shaped like a tank.

=RABBITTANK! YEAH~!=

"...Wait...Kiryu S…" Makoto began before she gasped in realization, "KAMEN RIDER BUILD!"

"Who?" Skurd and Ben's new form asked.

"Oh, he doesn't come out until 2018," Makoto replied, "Ah mou...I never did get to see all the episodes, either. Was binging on them before I ended up in the past, too. I was up to the debut of Cross-Z M..."

"Shh…" Build raised a finger to his mask, "Spoilers," he then suddenly jumped back and kicked Waterblight Ganon, making it stumble back. He landed as his red leg began glowing, revealing a spring design as it pushed down...and then up sending him back into the air before slamming his blue leg into Waterblight Ganon, the soles of his boot grinding like tank treads at high speed and tearing into its body, sending it stumbling back once more.

Link blinked in pure surprise upon seeing Sento's armored form..and seeing how easily he was pushing Waterblight Ganon back when he had trouble with two previous versions of it in Vah Medoh and Vah Rudania.

"Don't stop fighting now," Build spoke up, earning Link's attention, "You have help now, but you still need to be the one to end this. Right now, I am just another tool for you to use." he jumped back from a swing, "I'm only a visitor. This is your home, isn't it? You need to fight for it. So stand up and fight for your world!" he jumped up and punched Waterblight Ganon, "Your destiny is yours to make, so choose the destiny in which you win!"

"..." Link just gave a determined nod at that, a serious look on his face as Waterblight Ganon roared out, summoning more ice blocks as blue energy began to appear on it as its free hand was covered in a large icy mace.

It then swung its spear at both Link and build, the former quickly pulling his Sheikah Slate out to destroy one of the blocks before creating a few platforms of ice for him to run on. He summoned a larger pillar of ice to climb up as he leapt at Waterblight Ganon, using his shield to deflect its icy-mace as he used his Lynel Sword to slash at it, causing it to cry out in pain as it was forced back into the water.

Waterblight Ganon roared out in pure anger as it shot out of the water, raising its icy mace as it slammed it into the water, completely freezing it solid and waves of icy spikes headed towards everyone there.

"Woah, nelly!" Makoto yelped, bringing her gauntlets into fire mode as she punched at the ice coming towards her and Ben's new form, "I think it's mad!"

"Yes...it is...t-t-t-t-truly….vexed…" Ben's Zora from shivered, "Also...me thinks I found this form's weakness….can't stand cold or electricity."

"You know...given you became the race it was meant to fight and wipe out...wouldn't form changing be for the best?" Build spoke, kicking the ice away, "Maybe something both aquatic, with a resistance to cold and electrically insulated? You know...like a giant electric eel?" he offered.

"...Or an electric jellyfish! Haha! Most excellent idea, my good sir!" Ben's Zora form laughed before pressing on the Omnitrix, engulfing himself in green light as Amphibian took his place, "There we go!"

"Well, I am a genius…" Build laughed as he jumped out of the path of more ice.

"Oh! Use an upgrade!" Makoto called out to Build.

"Ano sa…" Build complained, rolling his head around to look at her, "I don't think I need to bust out that kind of power for this moment…"

"Ah mou~"

Link grunted as fired off another trio of Shock Arrows at Waterblight Ganon, who used its mace to block the arrows before stabbing its spear at Link, making him tense as he used his shield to block, causing it to crack and freeze over before shattering into shards of ice. A beeping sound soon caught his attention, making him look to see a red targeting reticle on his chest, making him quickly look up to see Waterblight Ganon's eye glowing...and he just lost his shield to deflect the laser it was about to fire, too…

Waterblight Ganon prepared to fire before some electricity hit it, causing it to cry out in pain as it shot its laser at the ceiling instead.

"Sorry ugly...but you ain't getting the jump on us!" Amphibian shouted as he floated to near Link, "You alright?" Link nodded but gestured to the broken remains of his shield sinking into the water, "No problem. Skurd?"

"One Petrosapien shield, coming up," Skurd replied, wrapping around one of Amphibian's tentacles and changing it into Diamondhead's arm that formed an angular diamond-shaped shield that he handed over to Link before Skurd changed it back to normal, "There you go. A knight is nothing if he has no shield, after all."

Link gave a nod in agreement before the beeping sound went off again, looking to see Waterblight Ganon about to fire off another laser. A smirk then grew on his face as he was prepared this time, standing his ground as the dark being fired off the laser from its optic. However this time just as the laser got close to him...he used his shield to deflect it right back at Waterblight Ganon, making it cry out in pain as its own laser hit it, sending it crashing into the frozen parts of the water and landing near Build.

"He just deflected that laser like nothing!" Makoto gawked.

"Well of course, he's the hero here," Build spoke as he rushed forward while cranking his belt.

=VORTEX FINISH!=

Build jumped into the air as he twisted his body and rolled forward before landing a kick with his Red leg, the spring pushing him off as he flipped around and launched back with a kick with his blue leg, the tank tread roaring to life as the impact caused a sizable explosion.

Waterblight Ganon cried out in pain, its icy-mace shattering into pieces as it fell back. It was about to throw its spear at Build before Amphibian used its own weapon as conductor, sending a wave of electricity to shock it as it cried out in pain once more.

"Not a good idea to wave it around now, huh?!" Amphibian laughed as he held his tendrils out, "Alright Link...It's all yours!"

Link nodded as he quickly pulled his sword out and rushed at Waterblight Ganon, moving and dodging each of the ice blocks it summoned to try and hit him with. He then used his new shield to deflect the incoming laser Waterblight Ganon sent at him, sending it right back at the dark being as it cried out in pain once more. Just as it shook the pain off and lunged its spear at Link, he jumped right over it, sword raised high as he headed right towards its eye, giving a loud determined yell as he slashed down across its face, shattering its eye upon impact.

Waterblight Ganon cried out in pure agonizing pain, writhing about as smoke began to come off it. Beams of light began to burst out of it as it tried to reach out for Link, only to explode as it was engulfed in a bright flash of light.

"Woah!" Makoto yelped as she shielded her eyes to block the incoming flash. A moment passed as she slowly opened her eyes, seeing no trace of Waterblight Ganon left as a crystalized red heart-like container with gold detailing began to float down, "..He...He beat it." she whispered as the water level and platforms began to lower, revealing the Main Control Unit as the heart landed near it.

Link noticed the heart as he walked over to it, touching it as it became energy and went into him, making him slowly gasp out a bit before exhaling. The others were quick to note that his injuries from the fight seemingly vanished the moment it went into him. Link didn't pay any attention to the looks as he approached the control unit and placed the Sheikah Slate on its podium, causing the 'pod' on the back to start glowing a light blue color, pulsating like a gentle heartbeat.

"And I believe with that...the Divine Beast is completely purged of this blight," Skurd noted.

"I don't see that creepy atmosphere in it anymore...so yes. We should be good," Build nodded, taking the twin bottles out of his belt as his armor vanished, "Isn't that right...Princess Mipha?"

"Eh?" Makoto, Amphibian and Link blinked at that.

"Yes...It is thanks to you all...that my spirit is free, along with Ruta," Mipha's voice spoke, the sound of a dripping echo filling the room as the group turned to see the Zora Princess standing there, a faint aura surrounding her with bits of a light-blue/green pyre floating around her, "Hello, Link…it is thanks to you most of all...I am now allowed by this freedom, to be with you once again."

"Huh...The statue does not do her justice," Skurd noted quietly to Ben, who nodded.

"Since I am now a spirit, my healing power would be wasted on me. I have no need of it," Mipha noted as she began to approach Link, "So therefore...I would like you to have it...so please...please accept Mipha's Grace."

With that, she brought her hands up to her chest, clasping over hand over the fist made from the other. Her head lowered as she closed her eyes for a few moments. A soft light shined in her chest before a blue orb emerged from it, the faint shadowed image of Ruta within the orb. She opened her eyes and 'pushed' the orb to Link, where it touched his chest and vanished into him. Makoto and Ben stepped away from him when Link started to float with bubbles surrounding him for a few moments. The bubbles vanished and Link landed on his feet.

"...Interesting," Sento quietly noted.

"Yesterday, I was awash in a pool of tears…" Mipha spoke, looking away from Link as she held her arm, "All these years being trapped here...I had nearly given up hope and resigned myself to being trapped here as a spirit...one caught in an endless cycle of despair created by Calamity Ganon's creation...for the rest of eternity...but..." she paused as she looked back at Link, "But now you're here. All this time my hope...was to see you once more, Link. Please promise me...that you will not hesitate to call upon my power if you ever find yourself in need. Knowing that...will let my spirit rest in peace."

Link took a moment to let that information in, giving a small nod in response before a look of sadness and guilt appeared on his face.

"...Do not feel guilty, Link. I knew you would come one day...and my prayers paid off," Mipha assured with a soft smile.

'Aw geez...This is too bittersweet…' Makoto thought, rubbing her eyes and trying to force her tears back in before Ben put a comforting hand on her shoulder, "..." she smiled and laid a hand on his, giving him an assuring smile.

"I truly wish I could go along with you...but sadly I can't," Mipha stated with a sad smile as gold flakes of light began to come off the group, surprising them but not Mipha nor Link, "My role is to pilot Vah Ruta one last time...to help in the battle against Calamity Ganon. We are both honored to play our role of support."

"...B-but wait...Princess Mipha, what about your family?" Makoto spoke up.

"...To be honest, I would love to see them one last time...but in the state I am in, I sadly cannot," Mipha replied sadly.

"Is...there any last words you want us to give them at least?" Ben asked.

"...yes. Please tell Father and Sidon...that I will always be within their hearts...and that I truly miss them," Mipha answered as the group began to float up, "And Link…"

"?" Link raised a brow before the faint gold flakes of light began to surround him as well, "?!"

"Please...Save her, Link. Save Princess Zelda…" Mipha said as the group vanished in an orb of golden light.

Outside, Vah Ruta stood still, the red glow replaced with the gentle blue. Suddenly, it rose up and let out a cry while flicking its trunk upwards. It then lowered itself into the water as it began to submerge itself into it. Several moments passed before it emerged for a few moments within the river outside of the reservoir, startling a few birds flying above the river attempting to find an evening meal. Ruta sunk back down before emerging from a pool of water upon a large rocky outcropping. Vah Ruta raised out of the water, giving a loud trumpet, as it rose its front legs into the air, stomping down as its trunk stood straight, pointing at Hyrule Castle in the distance, as its tusk extended out. A red sphere of light formed at the tip of its tusks before shooting out a red beam at the castle, hitting the topmost point where two other red lights were hitting.

"Ruta, we've finally found a way to be useful to Link. And...the other Champions of course," Mipha noted, appearing on top of Ruta's head as she looked out into the distance, "Our job will be to help Link as he fights Ganon inside the castle...however we can. Using your ability to drain Ganon of his power is key to our success…" she looked out at the castle, "This is it...This will be our last change...and everyone's last hope. If we seal him away, then we can restore peace in Hyrule." she knelt down and ran a hand on the top of Ruta's head, "And your duty and mine will be fulfilled." she then looked over at Zora's Domain, a worried yet sad look upon her face, "Father….are you feeling well, I wonder...I want you to know, I have always followed my heart. I'm sorry I made you worry...I wish...I could see you and Sidon once more…"

"Lady Lachan, are you alright?" Sidon asked as he approached Lambda, who seemed focused on some of the wildlife returning to the area outside Zora's Domain.

"No bunny…" Lambda noted.

"Bunny? Hmm...Not many are known to come here. ...By chance, would it be a blue rabbit of sorts? Almost like a spirit of sorts?" Sidon asked.

"Yes," Lambda replied.

"Ah, the Blupee! You're looking for one of those, then?"

"Blue...pee?"

"A truly rare species said to come from Mount Satori between the Gerudo Desert and Rito Village," Siphon explained, "They say that Blupee are watchers for the great spirit that lives atop the mountain; Satori, the Lord of the Mountain."

"...Blupee...Satori…" Lambda whispered in interest before looking up, "...Light."

"Hmm?" Sidon blinked before he looked up, seeing an orb of light coming down before it hovered down before them, vanishing within a moment as Ben and the others appeared before them, "Oh! Link! Sir Ben! Lady Makoto! Sir Sento! Sir Skurd, you have returned! ...Wait, does this mean that Vah Ruta has been tamed?"

"Yep…" Sento muttered, staggering a bit as he grabbed onto the railing, "Magical...teleportation...doesn't mix well with a man of science's sense of balance...give me a moment…"

"Not my first time, nor will it be the last," Ben noted as Link nodded to Sidon.

"Excellent! We must inform father your mission is a resounding success!" Sidon beamed as he grabbed all four of them, "Come! We must not keep him waiting a second longer!"

"Wait, I…" Sento began.

"And being dragged off," Skurd muttered as Sidon carried the four off.

Lambda just stood there, blinking a bit before she followed after him. She had noticed that the Sheikah Slate Link has had a map feature. Maybe it could let her find the Satori Mountain and the Blupee. For now, she decided to follow Sidon to see his father, a few other Zora surrounding the others with Muzu standing near a stone chest.

"Link, you did well to survive your trail! I have waited for your return!" Dorephan smiled brightly, "It is thanks to you and our new comrades, the violent downpour has disappeared, as has the threat to Zora's Domain! It is all little more than a bad dream now...thanks to your efforts, there is no longer any threat of a great flood laying waste to Hyrule. You appeased the Divine Beast Vah Ruta and thusly saved Zora's Domain...we are forever truly grateful to you all! What you did for us is more than we could have ever expected of you all...especially you Link."

Link nodded a bit in response, rubbing his arm a little before Muu cleared his throat, earning his attention.

"Link...I must sincerely apologize for my harsh treatment of you…that whole time, you were thinking about Hyrule and Lady Mipha's well being...just like the rest of us," the elderly Zora stated before looking at the others, "The same goes for you...travellers from over the Great Sea. I must apologize for my suspicions of you...you've more than proved your worth as heroes to us Zoras...to me."

"It's fine, really…" Ben assured, "We…"

"No, no. I must apologize, my boy," Muzu argued, "Afterall, all the members of the council humbly fold our fins back in gratitude, along with the rest of our people. Perhaps...the older generation of Zora-myself included-misunderstood Hyalians...no. Misunderstood all that come from outside Zora's Domain. That said..." he paused as he lowered his head, "I would be overjoyed if you would find it in your hearts to forgive an old fool like me. If not...then perhaps one day when Hyrule has truly found peace."

"Aw...he learned." Makoto smiled.

"Link, travelers from across the Great Sea, I must reward your efforts!" Dorephan spoke as he motioned to the stone chest next to Muzu, "Link, I implore you to collect the treasure inside that chest over there. It is the Lightscale Trident, the weapon cherished by my daughter Mipha. A memoto of sorts...I would like you to have it as a token of our friendship, and a reminder of my daughter to you…" he then towards Ben and his group, "Travellers, I was unsure what to reward you so please...name your reward and I will do my best to give it to you. Treasure, armor, weapons, a feast. What is it you all desire?"

"Your gratitude is enough," Sento spoke up quickly, "No one does good deeds for reward after all."

"We're good," Ben added with Makoto nodding in agreement.

"...I am good, your majesty," Lambda answered with a bow.

"Ahh...fair enough, I suppose," Direphan nodded before looking over at his son, "And Sidon...as your father, I am proud of you for fighting the Divine Beast alongside these brave warriors. You have grown much recently. I know you will be a worthy heir when your time comes."

"Father…" Sidon whispered, lowering his head as he forced the tears back, "I...thank you."

"..." Makoto said nothing as she looked between the two.

"The Heavy rains have stopped, and the Divine Beast is our ally once more!" Dorephan laughed, "How Glorious! Truly splendid! Wah ha ha ha ha!"

"Link, this is truly wonderful!" Sidon beamed, brightening his mood as he did his signature pose. He then rushed up to the group before taking their hands into his, "I cannot thank you and our new friends more than enough...this calls for a top-tier expression of gratitude! ZO! ZO! RA RA RA! With all my heart...thank you all!"

"They laugh like One Piece…" Makoto whispered to Ben.

"They kinda do," Ben whispered back before seeing Link walking up to Dorephan.

"Hmm? Is something wrong, Link?" Dorephan questioned before Link pointed to the statue of Mipha, "...wait...you saw Mipha?!" Link nodded his head before looking down, "...oh...I see...she really is…" he paused as he sadly looked down with Sidon, "...did...did she say anything to any of you?"

"Please tell us...we must know," Sidon begged as he looked at Ben and the others, "Did she say anything?"

"...yeah. A message to you and your father," Makoto answered, her ears dropping down sadly, "She said she really misses you...and that she'll always be in your hearts."

"...I see," Dorephan noted as he gave a sad sigh, "My dear Mipha...I simply cannot believe it. There was nothing I could do to save her...and yet…" he paused as tears began to pour from his eyes, "Even as a spirit...her love for us never diminished…"

"...sister…" Sidon whispered, trembling a bit as he used his arm to wipe the tears from his eyes, along with all the other Zora there as Muzu looked down sadly.

"But...she will never be alone," Dorephan stated as he wiped his tears away, "It is my duty as her father to watch over her, even now…" he said before looking at Link, "...Link, she really loved you, you know. There is no mistaking that even now, I feel she is overjoyed to be able to help you…"

"...mm…" Makoto began to fidget a little as her ears further drooped, "...Link, mind coming here for a second?"

"?" Link blinked at that, only to shrug as he walked over to her.

"Your magic...does it recharge over time?" Makoto asked, earning a nod from Link, "Ahh...I see...so you won't have to worry about it running out then."

"...What are you planning?" Sento cautiously asked.

"This…" Makoto answered as she looked back at Link, "I apologize in advance for this."

"?"

*SMACK! BAM!*

"Babe?!" Ben gawked as Link collapsed, a steaming bump on his head with a bright red mark on his face.

"Watch…" Makoto stated, silently counting down in her head before Mipha-covered in a water blue light- appeared before Link and healed his injuries.

"Mipha's Grace has…" Mipha began as she opened her eyes...and saw the shocked looks of her father and brother, "?! How..."

"Her fault," Skurd quickly informed, pointing to the Beastkin.

'She did not hold back on those blows,' Sento mentally noted, 'It seems that this power prevents him from receiving a fatal wound. But how many times and how long between uses?'

"Makoto what are you thinkin?" Ben whispered to Makoto.

"I wanted to give them closure," Makoto whispered back, "Mipha wanted to see her family one more time...her pops and her brother wanted to see her one more time, so..." she paused as she motioned to the three royal Zora, Sidon cautiously stepping over to Mipha.

"Sister..is it...truly you?" Sidon whispered.

"...it is," Mipha replied with a nod, "You..have truly grown, Sidon."

"...y...yes…" Sidon whispered, wiping the tears from his eyes as he gave her a toothy smile, "I have, dear sister."

"H-hold your majesty! You shouldn't get up so fast!" Muzu panicked as Dorephan got out of his throne and looked at Mipha.

'I thought he was huge sitting down, but standing…' Makoto mentally gawked.

"...It is you….my precious daughter," Dorephan whispered, tears welling in his eyes as his hands shook.

"It is...but for how long I will be here, I do not know," Mipha replied with a melancholy smile, "I do need to get back to Vah Ruta after all, but this...this was a rather...no. A surprise no one expected...but...I am happy to see you all one last time."

"Same…" Dorephan smiled sadly as the three pulled one another into a hug.

"...mm…" Lambda smiled softly as she looked on, seeing the three royal Zora hug one another. Even if it was bittersweet...she could tell they enjoyed seeing one another until it was Mipha's time to go. Could this be...what family is? Unconditional love for one another?

"..." Link gave a small smile, rubbing his head slightly as he stood there.

"As much as I want to see this...I believe we should be heading out now," Skurd spoke up.

"It's for the best that we return back to our friends...I'm...afraid what mine have done without proper leadership…" Sento muttered as he looked at the broken Sheikah Slate Makoto had found, "And study this to repair it."

Link blinked twice before pulling his own out. He knew someone and he just now realized why Sento's personality was familiar to him. He tapped on Sento's shoulder, earning his attention, before showing the travelling scientist his Sheikah Slate, showing a location on its map feature.

"Someone who knows how this works?" Sento guessed, earning a nod, "Perfect. Ben, Makoto, La-chan, I'm gonna head to this spot for a bit. You head back to the others...and possibly stop them from destroying our temporary home...again."

"Wait...again?" Makoto asked, "Ohh, I don't like the sound of that."

"Okay...I think we can agree that this was too much honey," Ryuga noted.

"Oh gee...Ya think?" Bobo deadpanned...currently stuck to Ryuga's back by a large wad of a honey-colored substance as Ryuga stood before a broken blender with a mess around them.

"I tried to warn them…" Rook muttered...with various objects stuck to his honey-covered body.

"The corgi~" Noel sobbed, stuck to the ceiling while the corgi plush was stuck to a wall far away from her spot on the ceiling.

"Guess this is a bit of a sticky situation," Rex chuckled, stuck on the ceiling beside Noel.

"Mmm…" Kazumi mumbled, stuck face-first to the wall near the plush with Sari struggling to get unstuck from his back.

"Oi...Why can't I open the door? Who put a chair before the knob again?" Gentoku demanded, some of the mixture stuck on the door and keeping it from opening.

"I think we can agree dat we never use da honey from dis place fer anything but glue," Bobo stated.

"Right. Mmm...Ah, maybe some water can help get us unstuck," Ryuga noted, "No one move! I'll be back with the water!"

"Mmm!" Kazumi snapped.

"Corgi~" Noel whined as Ryuga ran out through the back door.

"Oh, we are in so much trouble when Sento comes back," Ryuga noted, "I'll be turned into a monkey and you'll probably be turned into a platypus in a fedora."

"Hey. We're back a-Why can't I open the door?" Ben asked from outside.

"..." Ryuga looked over his shoulder at Bobo, who quickly gestured for him to run.

"Go Big Chill and see what's going on," Makoto noted, "Maybe the back is good."

"Gh…" Ryuga flinched before running off for the river.

"Hmm...Ya know, dis place ain't too bad," Bobo noted a few minutes later, looking at the scenery going by, "Good clean air, a good fight or two around da corner with dumb pigs, a tiny robot dragon…"

Ryuga skidded to a halt, "Dragon?!" he spun around and looked up to see a tiny metal blue and gold dragon flying around the trees, "Oi! Dragon, you get down here right now with my FullBottle!"

=Gao!=

"Dragon, don't make me climb up there!" Ryuga warned before an apple from one of the trees landed on his head, "...Okay, that's it! I'm coming up there!"

"You sure dat's a good i-" Bobo began as Ryuga jumped onto the tree...and struggled to move, "...Yup. We're stuck…"

=Gao!=

"You better not be laughing!" Ryuga growled as Dragon let out more noises, "Dammit, you are laughing!"

"Youse are some kind of stupid, you know dat?" Bobo deadpanned.

"I am not stupid!" he complained, "And don't you start with me you!" he looked up at Dragon.

Dragon continued it's 'laughter' until a net engulfed it and pulled it away.

"Eh?!" Ryuga followed the path of the net to see a muscular man with red skin covered in grey, blood red, and black armor with a gold guard around his neck area, black spikes on its lower arms and lower legs, a large sheathed sword on its hip, and a blood red hood pulled up and a white mask with the upside down red eye symbol on it, "Oi! What are you doing to Dragon!?"

"..." the figure was engulfed in smoke before it dissipated, revealing him and the caught Dragon to be gone.

"Gah! Frickin' ninja!" Ryuga snapped.

"I think that was one o' dem Yiga Rex and Sari told us about," Bobo noted before a loud crack went off, making him blink a few times before Ryuga landed, the ripped off bark stuck to him, "And youse didn't do that before because…?"

"Get back here with Dragon!" Ryuga snapped as he ran off in a random direction.

'I'm stuck to an idiot running off after a ninja that we have no way of knowin' t' find...I shoulda stayed in my hammock when I woke up…' Bobo thought.
