"Yo Fenton!" Dash shouted down the hallway.

He shouldered his way past other students, marching towards where Fenton stood in front of his locker, grabbing his books for the day. Dash walked up behind him and slammed the locker door closed.

"Hey Fentonowski, I need a favor."

Danny scoffed. "Why would I ever do you a favor?"

"C'mon, man. Would you do a favor for Phantom?"

Danny looked up at Dash, his eyes squinted. "No."

"But I need you to get that Weston kid to lay off! To get him to stop his dumb conspiracies! He's gonna get Phantom in some neck deep trouble one of these days!"

"You think I haven't tried? It's not like I'd be in the best of shape either if the GIW think I'm related to Phantom somehow."

"Yeah, but no one cares about you."

"Gee, thanks."

"Besides," Dash continued. "Isn't that even more reason for you to talk to him? C'mon, just do it."

"I said no. Just beat me up already so I can get to class."

Dash was pulling his arm back, readying a swing when he remembered something. He started pulling out his phone.

"I know! I'll call Phantom and he'll tell you to get Weston off his back. No one could say no to him!"

"Dash, wait-"

He hit the call button and brought the phone up to his ear. After two rings, he heard the chirp of someone's phone nearby. He looked around trying to pinpoint where it was coming from when his gaze landed on Fenton's eyes, wide and filled with fear. He looked like he was about to bolt any second now.

The voicemail message could be heard in Dash's ear but he was no longer paying attention as it dawned on him that Fenton's phone had stopped ringing as well.

Dash squinted down at his phone, staring at the contact that clearly had Phantom's name and a photo of him in it, and pressed the call button again.

Fenton's phone started to ring once again, but this time he pulled it out and ended the call.

"Dash-"

"How? What? All this time? You- And Phantom? What the hell?"

"Dash, listen-"

Dash's head was starting to get fuzzy, chatter filling his head as he realized he's been wailing on Phantom this entire time. Why would he just let him do that? Why didn't he stop him? Danny fought ghosts on the daily, why was he afraid of Dash?

Dash turned and ran away, ignoring Danny's call, asking where he was going. He needed some time to think, to digest this whole fucked up situation.

And while he was at it, he was going to talk to Weston himself.
