Chapter Three: First Lessons
"Welcome class. I am Professor Rook and you will address me as sir." Professor Rook said as he took a look at the class. He was skinny with a bread that covered his face and black eyes.

"I will be teaching you about spells during your years here at Vocans. as I am sure you are aware spells are an important skillset for any Wizard/Witch." Professor Rook said as he started writing on the board. Looking at the people in the class he could see the noble children nodding along while the muggleborn kids just looking lost. As Danny watched the professor start writing easy level spells on the board he felt the need to take action.
"Professor Rook." Danny said as he raised his hand in the air.
"Yes?" Professor Rook answered turning towards him a scowl on his face. He clearly did not like being interrupted.
"Do you not think that we should start from what mana is since not everyone grew up with relatives to them the basics." Danny said and watched as the professor's face got irritated. Looks like the muggleborn were going to be in for a rough time in this class.
"I do not believe in teaching at a slow pace for students. If some students do not want to hold back the class they should open their books and read the explanations in them and remember to address me as my title dictates." Professor Rook said.
Danny could see Sam clench her hands in annoyance since they were sitting at the same table and wondered if he should do something.
"Exactly right professor." Draco said causing him to scowl when the professor said nothing and just started going back to writing on the board.
"If you are going to teach spells should you not at least make sure the entire class can actually cast them?" Danny asked and watched as the chalk in the Professor's hand was snapped. It brought him a kind of joy that he wished would last forever.
"Fine. Everyone that does not how to control their mana raise your hand." Professor Rook said and for the students that did he placed a mana crystal in front of them.
"We shall split the class. Those that already know how to use mana shall come with me while you can instruct the others on how to use their mana so they are not left behind." Professor Rook said.
"Fine." Danny said as the Professor opened a door on the side of a wall that led to what was probably a training area. The room was probably altered with magic so that it could fit the entire class.
"Alright then let's move the desks back and start this." Danny said bringing the six muggleborn around him. Sam, Tucker, Hermione, Didric, Mason, and Rory. According to his observation they all had specialties in different areas. Whether it was Sam with her stamina, Hermione with her intelligence, Didric with his strength and so on. They each had their strengths and weaknesses but right now he was just going to be teaching them the basics.
"This sucks." Tucker said probably thinking that no one would hear him.
{Quest Alert}
There Is No I In Team
Quest: Help this group reach level Seven
Rewards
900 Experience Points
Fire Stone
Water Stone
Oran Berry
Accept Y/N
"This situation may seem unfair and our professor may be a jerk but I want you guys to know not all of the nobility are terrible." Danny said to them while accepting the quest. Leveling this group from level one to level seven would not be that hard. He could give them rare candies and force them to level up to the desired level right now. He had earned many in hid dungeon raids. He did not use them himself as they did not increase his power that much compared to actually levelling up with the experience points.
"What are we supposed to do with this?" Rory asked
"I want you to focus on the crystal in front of you. The feeling you get as it draws your mana out of you will show you how you will be casting spells from now on." Danny said. He wondered how much time it would take for them. Hopefully not longer than the remainder of class time.

"Welcome to summoning 101. I am your professor Lovett and I will be teaching you about demons." Professor Lovett said with a warm smile on her face. She gave off a feeling that you could come talk to her about any problem you had.

"Professor Lovett will we be summoning demons today?" Sam asked with a curious look on her face.
That caused the smile on Professor Lovett's face to disappear and become a stern frown.
"No. There will be no summoning of demons in your first year. This year is all about learning what demons are, where they come from, and the ranks of demons." Professor Lovett said.
"Demons have ranks?" Mason asked pulling out a notebook to take notes.
"Yes they do. Demons rank from levels 1 to 10." Professor Lovett said.
"Now to start the lessons who knows where demons come from?" Professor Lovett asked the class.
Danny watched as students started raising their hands. Predictably most were nobles but the surprise was that Hermione had also raised her hand.
"Ms. Granger." Professor Lovett picked with a smile.
"Demons come from the Ether. It is an alternate realm created by The God of Destruction Beerus." Hermione answered.
"Correct and extra points for the extra information." Professor Lovett said. If this was Professor Rook he would have probably taken points off from her giving more information than was needed.
"Good. Now can someone name a rank 1 demon?" Professor Lovett asked.
"Ms. Casterwill." Professor Lovett called next.
Sophie Casterwill a girl with orange-reddish hair and green eyes was a pureblood that belonged to the Casterwill family that held the rank of Viscount/Viscountess.
"Mites are rank 1 demons." Sophie said with a calm look on her face.
"Correct. Now does anyone know what we use Mites for." Professor Lovett asked her next question.

"So what did you think of classes so far?" Danny asked as he sat next to Sam and Tucker in the dinning hall. Their morning classes were done and now they could either use the time for personal study or use it as a time to hang with friends. The vast majority of students chose to use it as an unofficial lunch break. The castle only served meals at breakfast time and dinner.
"It seems like a lot of work." Tucker said.
"Yeah but imagine once we start learning actual spells." Sam said.
"I can teach you some if you want to learn outside of classes." Danny said.
"Really?" Tucker asked now sounding interested.
"Sure I could teach you some of the stuff that I already now and we can practice together the stuff that I do not." Danny said.
"Are you going to teach us that Zap Cannon thing?" Tucker asked.
"Let us stick with the simple things first." Danny said. The type of magic he used was different from the standard spells that Wizards/Witches used. He could cast both styles and so understood how they differed from each other. Wizards/Witches cast spells from their cores while for it him like he had a second nervous system running through his body which flowed with mana. The stronger he got the faster and stronger his mana flowed. For them it was like they got better with their skills but despite the level up they got their magic did not increase.
"Are we going to invite the others?" Sam asked.
"I see no reason not to. Get you plenty of practice in dueling." Danny said.
"Why would we need to learn that?" Tucker asked.
"In case one of the other students decide to start trouble with you." Danny said. It was the first day but it would not be long before some kid decided to bully the muggleborns. If they were lucky it would be students in their same year. If the older students joined in then they would be out of luck. Not to mention what could happen to them after they graduated.
Things would not be easy for them.
"You really think the others are going to go out of their way to bother us when they could be studying magic?" Sam asked him.
She was so naïve. It was both kind of funny and adorable.
"It is only a matter of time." Danny said watching as Draco was sitting with his cousins and by the look on his face he was rather agitated by something.
"Who is Malfoy talking to?" Tucker asked seeing where his eyes were focused.
"Those are his cousins Tarquin and Isadora." Danny answered. They were in their last year and about to be sent to their squads. His guess was that they were going to be sent to the Serpents. It was the squad that seemed to pick the people with major personality problems. The current king had been a member of their squad and he had lots to say about that man. Very little of it was good.
"So are they going to be a problem for you given what you did to Draco?" Sam asked.
"Odds are higher to that being a yes." Danny answered.
"Are you worried?" Tucker asked but it seemed more like it was he that was the nervous one.
"Not really. If it comes to a fight I can take them." Danny said. The both of them were only level 6. Even if they worked together he was certain that he could crush them.
"They can summon demons." Sam said as if that was something to be concerned over.
"I doubt it would be anything strong." Danny said. They were still students so the best they could probably summon was a rank 4 demon.
"It is still a demon. I once heard about this village that had a mayor that refused to pay taxes to a noble and so this noble had a demon strike him and his family down with lightning. In the end the man begged for the pain to end and started paying double what was originally owed." Tucker said.

"Welcome class." Professor Nikos said as she stood in front of them. She was a beautiful woman with red hair and green eyes. " I will be your combat professor while you are enrolled at Vocans. I will be teaching you the the art of armed and unarmed combat. You will learn how to use a long sword, short sword, bow and arrow, dagger, spear, and more."

"Yes Ms. Granger." Professor Nikos said pointing to Hermione's raised hand.
"Why are we learning how to use weapons. Can we not simply capture people with spells?" Hermione asked.
"That is true but what happens when you have to deal with a demon that is quicker than your ability to cast spells? What if your magic is not strong enough to restrain your opponent? What if you are dealing with a creature that is resistant to magic? What would you do then?" Professor Nikos asked.
"Do we have to master all the weapons here?" Harry Potter asked. Danny did not know much about him given that their fathers did not get along. There were rumors that their was a lot of tension between house Potter and the royal family.
"I would like if that were possible but no. I am going to train you to be skilled with most weapons but eventually you are going to find something that you like more than the others. First year is just about you training you to be able to know how to use the weapons stored in here." Professor Nikos said.
"Is it safe to use these weapons against each other?" Mason asked.
"Do not worry. When you are sparring against each other whether at practice or at the end of the year tournament the weapons will be enchanted to be unable to do lasting injuries. Teaching you how to use weapons without a way to prevent injuries would be reckless." Professor Nikos answered.
"Is it possible to fight demons with weapons?" Neville Longbottom asked.
"With a enchanted weapon and teamwork it is very possible." Professor Nikos answered. "Now let us see what weapons you want to start with." and then with a wave of her hand the cabinet at the end of the room opened up revealing a rack holding a large amount of weapons.
Seems like this was going to take some time and a lot of thought.
