Title card: The Old and the Restless.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Everyone screamed at the title card, except for Lincoln and a select few.
'I don't know whether to be offended or horrified.' thought Lincoln.
"LISA, WHAT DID YOU DO?!" screamed Ronnie Anne.
"I assure you, I do not have the means to accelerate aging!" retorted Lisa.
"Guys, it's just a title card." reminded Carlos.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"I think there was a Pair of Kings episode with that name." hummed Carl.
[Vanzilla pulls over into the retirement home and Lincoln comes out.]
Rita: "Have fun with Pop-Pop honey, I'll see you at 6:00!"
"I'm guessing this was one of those episodes made before the premiere?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Yeah it was." Joe said.
[An elderly man is coming out with a box of his belongings.]
Elderly Man: "But..but...but...but..."
Sue: [pushing the elderly man out of retirement home.] "If you would've had your butt home by curfew, you'd still have a place to live!"
At the sight of the familiar bitch of a nurse, Lincoln and Albert instantly glared at her.
"Who's that Linc?" asked Stella.
"Somebody me and Pop-Pop would love to forget." Lincoln growled.
"Amen to that Linc." Albert growled in agreement.
"Come now, she can't be that bad." said Rita.
Lincoln and Albert deadpanned at her and pointed to the screen, indicating for her to keep watching.
"Just keep watching, you'll soon see." Albert told his daughter.
"Okay?" Rita said in confusion.
[Lincoln enters retirement home and rings the bell; an elderly man taps Lincoln's shoulder then tip-toes to the side.]
Lincoln: "Pop-Pop!"
Albert: "Ha, ha, ha!"
"Now that was funny." giggled Luan.
Lincoln: "Your new place looks nice!"
Albert: "Thanks kiddo. It took me months to get in here. I had to wait for three people to kick the bu-uh, move out.
"It's obvious what you were originally gonna say," said Haiku.
Albert gave a sheepish grin.
Albert: This place has got a pool, shuffleboard tournaments, and it's filled with all my old pals. I'm really loving it here. So, what's on the day's agenda?"
Lincoln: "I got our whole day planned: arcade, carnival, maybe laser tag?"
"Wow, can your Pop-Pop actually do all of that?" asked Adelaide.
"Wait and see Adelaide." Lincoln said as he and Albert traded smirks.
Sue: "Wowsers!" [chuckles] "That sounds like oodles of fun...if you wanna end up in the ER. I think your grandfather will be happier spending the day here at Sunset Canyon. Right, Albert?"
Albert: [sadly] "Oh, yes, of course. Good call, Sue."
Lincoln: "But Pop-Pop-"
Albert: "It's okay, Lincoln. Sue here takes real good care of us. She knows best."
Everyone raised an eyebrow.
"Does she really?" Carlos asked skeptically.
"I don't trust this woman." Rosa frowned.
[Scoots comes speeding on her electrical scooter.]
Sue: "Scoots!" [pulls out a velocity speed gun] "You're going 5 miles over the speed limit!" [To Lincoln and Albert] "Someone just lost her pudding privileges." [Runs after the speeding elder] "Get back here!"
"There she is again." commented Boris.
Lincoln: [Looks at his grandfather all happy.] "Hey, how about a swim?"
[Albert obliges and walks with Lincoln.]
[Cut to the pool where Lincoln and Albert run to the pool.]
Lincoln: "Cannonball!"
[They both stop as they hear a whistle. Sue appears on a high chair]
Sue: "Cannonball? That sounds like a hoot, if you want to break a hip. Do you want to break a hip, Albert?"
[Albert shakes his head in a nerveless agreement.]
Sue: "Then why don't you grab a seat on the helper chair?
[An elder is on the helper chair with a line of elders waiting for their turn.]
Albert: [Disappointed] "Good call, Sue." [Walks towards the helper chair.]
"I doubt it would've been enough to break a hip." Principal Huggins frowned.
"And those seniors looked bored out of their minds." commented Chunk.
"This Sue lady is ruining your good time." Frida frowned.
Sue: [Looks towards Lincoln] "And speaking of pool safety, I have something for you, young man." [smiling evilly]
[Lincoln is floating unhappy in the pool, wearing a life vest and water nose-plugs.]
Albert: "Okay Lincoln splash fight in 3, 2,-" [gets interrupted by Sue's whistle.]
Sue: "Everybody out! Time to reapply sunblock."
Albert: [Disappointed] "Aww".
[He goes back up in the helper chair.]
Lincoln: [looks at Sue, confused] "But we're indoors."
Albert: [Still disappointed; looks at Lincoln] "Now Lincoln, Sue knows what's best."
[Lincoln swims away with an annoyed look.]
"But he is right, you don't need sunblock indoors." said Lori.
"I'm already not liking this character." said Rusty.
Seymour: [In the pool on a purple pool noodle.] "But Sue I-I just got the hang of this noodle, and I-" [gets interrupted by Sue.]
Sue: "Okay, Seymour, you can stay in the water. [Becomes threatening] If you want your skin to flake off like a burnt potato!"
Seymour: [Disappointed, paddling backwards] "Oh, good call, Sue."
Everyone glared.
"I doubt that can actually happen. Can it?" asked Zach.
"Possibly." said Lisa. "But not after a short period of time and no matter what age you are."
[Cut to room where Albert and Lincoln are playing Twister. Lincoln spins the board.]
Lincoln: "Left foot red!"
[Albert tries to stretches his left foot onto a red panel and blows a raspberry upon placing it. Lincoln spins again, but a large foot stomps on the arrow. The camera cuts to Lincoln and Albert still in their positions.]
Sue: [Off-screen] "Well, doesn't this look like a great way to end up in traction? [On-screen] Why don't you go help Scoots with her cat puzzle?"
"Although she does have a point about getting tangled up, she doesn't have to be mean about it." Luan frowned.
"Party pooper." Sergio glared.
[Scoots is eating from the pudding dispenser despite having her privileges taken away.]
Sue: [blows her whistle and threatens] "I EXPRESSLY SAID NO PUDDING!"
Scoots: "You'll never catch me, SHREW!" [she clenches her fist, laughs and scoots off backwards while Sue gives chase and keeps blowing her whistle.]
"Yeah she is a shrew." Luan huffed.
"I am really not liking the way she is treating my dad." Rita growled.
"Don't forget Lincoln and the other seniors." added Principal Rivers.
[Albert's room]
Lincoln: [Off-screen] "Pop-Pop, you really need a nap?"
Albert: [in bed] "Those are Sue's rules and Sue knows best."
Rita looked at her father in concern. "Dad, what was that lady been putting in your head?" she asked. "You're not old and frail yet."
"A lot of nonsense Rita." Albert replied. "But don't you worry, I'm alright now."
Lincoln: [Walks to him] "Can't you see what Sue's done to you? She's convinced you you're old and frail. But you're not. The last time we hung out, you crushed those Navy SEAL's in paintball."
[Flashback to some men screaming running away and being splattered by Albert who comes swinging on a vine vigorously; end flashback.]
Albert: "Ho, ho. I took it to 'em. But that was years ago, Lincoln."
Lincoln: "It was last month.
Everyone was surprised.
"You actually won a paintball match in the jungle?!" Carl asked in amazement.
"Yeah! And it was loads of fun!" Albert grinned.
Lincoln: Pop-Pop, I think we should go have a fun day out on the town like we used to."
Albert: [Happily accepting] "Okay, you sold me. Let's blow this popsicle stand!"
"Yeah! Go have fun like you used to!" Lynn said.
[Sue is monitoring the lobby with her golf cart with a siren attached to the roof. She suddenly spots Lincoln and Pop-Pop heading out the door. The siren blares.]
Sue: "Where are you two Peppy Pete's off to? Albert, shouldn't you be in bed?"
Lincoln: [Annoyed to Sue] "He's not tired."
Sue: [sarcastic] "Oh, I didn't realize we had a geriatric expert on the premises."
"Jewk!" Lily glared.
"You said it Lily." nodded Lana.
"If he's not tired, then he isn't tired." Lynn Sr. frowned. "You're in charge of his home, not of his own life."
"Yeah, he can leave and come back when he wants to!" huffed Kotaro.
Lincoln: "We're just going out to have some fun."
Sue: [Threatening] "Well, that sounds like a good way to miss our 6:00 PM curfew. And you know what happens if you miss curfew? [Shakes in fury] You'll be out on your proverbial keister!"
"Say what now?!" exclaimed Ronnie Anne.
Everyone was just as shocked.
"Since when do seniors have curfew?" asked Joey.
"Well there are some geezers at the home who like to be out on the town at night without telling the staff." said Albert.
"Yeah, but getting kicked out for it? That's just wasting the good money you put in there!" exclaimed Arturo.
Albert: [nervous] "Uh... [Slaps Lincoln's back] Come on, Lincoln. Race you to the shuffleboard court."
[He walks off, but Lincoln puts his arm out and stops him.]
Lincoln: "Pop-Pop, no. We're gonna have a great time, and I promise we'll be back by 6 o'clock curfew."
Albert: "Hm... Okay, kiddo. Lead the way."
[Just as they're about to leave, Sue points to her watch to remind Lincoln not to be late as he smiles nervously.]
"I should've looked into the rules more." sighed Rita.
"It's not your fault Rita, I didn't know about Sue's rules until after I moved in." said Albert.
"That's one of the reasons why I'm not moving into any retirement home." said Mr. Grouse. "If I'm passed being able to take care of myself, I can live with my family."
"We'd miss you if you left." said Leni with a sad look.
Mr. Grouse smiled a little. "Eh I'll write to ya and visit when I can." he said.
Leni perked up at that.
[At Dine 'N' Dance, Lincoln and Albert are ordering lunch.]
Lincoln: "Two cheeseburgers, two fries, and two chocolate shakes."
Albert: "Oh, not for me. I'll just have the cottage cheese and melon slices." [His grandson looks at him confused.] "Sue says I should stick to food that's a little easier to digest."
Lincoln: "This from the guy who cleaned out an entire Chinese buffet?"
[Flashback to Albert eating everything at the buffet and burps, forcing the family who owns the restaurant to close up shop; end flashback.]
Everyone was a mix of shock, laughter, and feeling a little bad for the family who owned the place.
"Wow, you really cleaned them out!" laughed Lynn. "And I thought I would be the only one to do that."
"Me too." said Lana.
"I thought you liked maintaining your physical form." Paula said in confusion.
"That doesn't mean I can't pig out every now and then." said Lynn.
"That poor family." Becky said sadly.
"Don't worry. They found work." assured Lincoln.
Albert: [chuckles] "I took it to 'em. [Sassily] Ah, what the heck? I'll have what he's havin'. And put chili on everything!"
"Wow you're really going all out with your meal." laughed Sid.
"No wonder a bunch of the Louds can eat so much stuff." commented Liam.
"I wish I got that appetite like Lynn did." Lincoln said.
Lynn smiled, patted Lincoln's head, and then her stomach.
Lincoln leaned over to Ronnie Anne and whispered, "It would help when I visit you so I could handle all the food your grandma makes."
They both laughed.
[After lunch, Lincoln and Albert are stuff and Albert passes gas.]
Albert: "Who stepped on a frog?"
[They laugh]
Everyone laughed.
"Well that is gross." said Carol, though she was still laughing.
Waitress: [announcing] "Hey, hap cats and kittens! It's time to do the twist!"
[A 50's style greaser dances with one of the waitresses and another waitress offers to dance with Albert.]
"That reminds me of Grease." said Luna.
"That was a great 50's-style movie from the 70's." said Sam.
"Rest in peace Jeff Conaway." sighed Tabby.
Albert: [unsure] "Uh, thank you, but I really shouldn't. Sue says dancing is a great way to slip a disk."
Lincoln: "But, Pop-Pop, you love to dance."
Albert: "They did call me "Jitterbug" in the Army." [dances with the waitress after all.]
Waitress: "Woo-hoo!" [laughs gleefully while dancing with Albert.]
"Your grandfather has got some moves." commented CJ.
"And I still use them with Myrtle." Albert smiled.
[Lincoln and Albert are now playing Laser Tag. Lincoln fires at Albert, but he dodges the shot and blasts Lincoln's vest, thus eliminating his grandson. But then, a little girl easily takes him out.]
Albert: "Oh! You got me!" [pretends to keel over much to the girl's confusion.]
Everyone laughed.
"Even for a guy in his 70's or 80's you play Laser Tag like a pro!" complemented Zach.
"Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't know how to use modern technology." Albert chuckled.
[Now they're riding bumper cars and ram into each other, causing Albert's dentures to fly out and clip Lincoln's forehead. They laugh again.]
Everyone wicked.
"Didn't that hurt Lincoln?" asked Mollie.
"Not really." Lincoln replied.
[They then drink Flippees really fast to see who can finish theirs first.]
Lincoln: [feeling the pain] "Aah! Brain freeze!"
Albert: [finishes his] "Winner!"
"How did you not get a brain freeze Albert?" Lynn Sr. asked as he and everyone else stared in surprise.
"I got a tough head." Albert smirked.
"Unlike Mr. Budden." said Paula, making Lincoln, Clyde, and Liam snicker.
[They then go mountain climbing, reach the top, admire the view and high-five.]
"That is so awesome!" exclaimed Carl.
"Looks like both our grandfathers are one of a kind." Ronnie Anen said to Lincoln.
"Wait until you see Gramps." said Lincoln. "He's our dad's dad."
[Later, Lincoln gets him and Pop-Pop two hot dogs but notices the latter has made a new friend.]
Albert: "Lincoln, my new friend T-Bone here was just telling me about a mechanical bull riding competition."
Lincoln: "We should be heading back. It's almost 6:00, and Sue said-"
Albert: "Aw, nuts to Sue! You were right about her! She got me thinking I'm an old geezer. But I still got some pep in my step." [shows off a few dance moves.] "Huh? Huh?"
Lincoln: [Worrying] "Yeah, but Sue said if we miss curfew, you'll be out on your proverbial keister."
"Dad I know you having fun and I know that woman is the worst, but for what we saw at the start think Lincoln was right to be worried." said Rita.
Albert scratched his neck, embarrassed. "Hehehe sorry about that." he said as he turned to Lincoln. "Sorry about that Lincoln. I might have gotten a bit overconfident with all the fun we were having."
"Don't worry Pop-pop." Lincoln sighed. "But still think a little heads up for what is about to happen is needed."
Albert flinched remembering all he did that day while everyone else looked confused.
"Oh yeah… umm you didn't get hurt-"
"Nonono nothing like that!" Lincoln interrupted. "Outside of being out of air nothing bad happens."
"Tired? Hurt?" Rita asked, looking suspicious. "Dad what did you do?"
"Guess we'll have to wait and see." shrugged Kotaro.
Albert: [finishes his hot dog and walks to the back seat of T-Bone's motorcycle.] "You let me deal with Sue. Now, you ready to saddle up?"
Lincoln: [protesting] "Pop-Pop, we can't."
Albert: "Okay, worrywart. [Puts on his helmet] Then I'm outta here. Let's ride, T-Bone!"
"Oh dear." mumbled Lisa.
"Dad! Did you leave Lincoln alone in the middle of the street?!" Rita exclaimed.
"I might have got over-excited." Albert muttered, looking down. "Sorry Lincoln."
"Well to be honest you did tell me to hop on." said Lincoln.
Rita looked at him, an eyebrow raised making him look down at his weak defense.
"Yeah I know… no excuses." Lincoln sighed.
[The biker and the geezer head off, leaving Lincoln alone. He drops his hot dog, stretches his arms out wide and tries to call for him.]
Lincoln: "Pop-Pop, wait! [He guiltily places his hands on his head.] What have I done?"
"It's not your fault Lincoln, it's mine for going overboard." Albert said, patting his grandson on the back.
Lincoln: [chases after his Pop-Pop down the street and spots the motorcycle parked next to a bar.] "T-Bone's bike!" [enters the bar and can't find his Pop-Pop anywhere, but sees T-Bone.] "Mr. Bone, do you know where my grandpa is?"
"Ok for all the scolding we gave Lincoln before for not doing exercising, I must say he has a good cardio to be able to run after a motorcycle and not been tired for it." Lynn Sr. commented.
"You said it...and let's not forget all the parkour running we have seen him do." added Rita.
"Well two things Mr and Mrs. Loud: One, Lincoln has a lot of practice living with you and taking care of his sisters so many times now, and two, maybe you should have tried less…'flash' sports that involve balls and more of those that Lincoln can use agility, quick thinking and speed." said Clyde.
Lynn Sr. and Rita pondered that.
T-Bone: "Oh, you mean Cowboy Al? Haven't seen him since he won the competition."
[T-Bone shows a recording he took of Albert on the mechanical bull on his phone.]
Recording Albert: "YEE-HAW!"
"Whoo-hoo!" Show that bull who is boss Pop-Pop!" Lynn cheered.
"Ohhh we need to go there sometime! I also want to dominate that bull!" Lana said excitedly.
"That did look awesome." Rusty said in agreement.
"Are you able to ride a bull Liam?" asked Stella.
"Nah, Mee-Maw says not until I'm 16." Liam replied.
"Ok where are you now dad?" Rita asked.
"Hehehehe." Albert laughed nervously.
Lincoln: "Well, if he's not here, where is he?"
[A baseball game is on the bar's TV.]
Sportscaster: "Martinez goes back for the catch, and...what in blazes? There's an old man on the field, in his boxers! And there go the boxers."
[Lincoln covers his eyes upon hearing that last part.]
Lincoln: "To the ballpark!" [leaves the bar]
"EEEEEEWWWWW!" everyone shouted.
"Really Dad?!" Rita facepalmed in exasperation.
"Ewww…" Lola grimaced as she covered her eyes.
Howard and Harold put their hands over Clyde's eyes
Albert blushed, embarrassed
"Hahaha! Well Pop-Pop certainly is stripping everyone's attention from the game hahahaha...get it?" Luan joked.
"What I find interesting is that he was able to reach the game and do this so quickly." mused Lisa.
"Lisa dont look!" her mother shouted.
[Outside the baseball stadium Sterrett Field, Lincoln rushes in while a crowd is heard cheering. Albert gets kicked out for that little incident and a crowd stampedes out and seems to have carried him off. Now Albert is skateboarding off a half-pipe…]
"Check out those moves!" exclaimed Sid.
"Wow, he sure can skateboard." said Casey, impressed.
"I have got to learn that!" said Ronnie Anne.
"Guess you never are truly too old to skateboard." mused Laird.
"If you ever come by Great Lakes City, you should stop by the skate park and teach us some moves." said Nikki.
"Just like another unexpected skater we know." said Sameer, smirking in Carlos' direction, making the college professor smile nervously and look away.
"I'd be happy to." Albert smiled.
[...and lands right on a breakdancing stage in style.]
"Oh I remember that." Girl Jordan laughed before looking at Lincoln and Albert. "Your Pop-Pop is a really good dancer."
"Thank you." they both said in unison.
[The heavy metal band Horns on a Rabbit then grabs him and takes him in their van where he performs sax on stage with them with the crowd raving as he then performs a stage dive outside of the theater with Lincoln trying to catch up every which way to no avail.]
"Wow Pop-Pop, you're rocking the saxophone!" Luna said in awe.
"Too right Luna luv, though the saxophone is barely used in rock concerts, it does have a nice sound," said Chunk.
"I think we now know where Luna's music genes come from, and not just from her dad." said Sam.
Albert and Lynn Sr. smirked proudly at that.
Lincoln: [Worrying] "Pop-Pop's curfew is in 30 minutes!"
[He then looks up to see that he's riding a plane, skywriting "Pop-Pop Rules". He grabs a passerby's glasses to get a better look while the said passerby crashes off-screen.]
"You really do rule." said Lincoln as he and Albert hugged. Rita, Lynn Sr., and the girls joined in.
Albert: "LOOK OUT, WORLD! ALBERT'S ABOUT TO TAKE IT TO YA!" [jumps out of the plane] "YAHOO-AH!" [His parachute opens.]
Howard and Harold yelled in alarm.
"Parachuting, are you nuts?!" exclaimed Joey.
"Relax, I was fine." said Albert.
[Lincoln yelps and rushes to where Albert's gonna land; the old man lands somewhere in the trees nearby and lets out a fart.]
Lincoln: "Pop-Pop!"
Albert: "Whoops! Guess I had too much chili."
"Yeah, chili manages to give you a lot of gas." said Lana.
"Same with hot sauce." said Lynn, remembering when she farted in Vanzilla after drinking a whole bottle of it on the family's way to Camp Mastedon.
"Not me. I'm allergic to it." said Rusty.
Albert: "Sorry, kiddo. I think I overdid it a little today."
Lincoln: "That's okay, Pop-Pop. If we hurry, we can still get you back in time. Hold on." [proceeds to get him down.]
"How on earth were you able to do all of that Pop-Pop?" asked Lori.
"Like I said earlier in the episode Sue had me thinking I was an old geezer so it made me think I was but I'm just as old as I feel." said Albert. (1)
"I gotta say, you are a one of a kind grandpa like Abuelo." said Bobby.
"Thanks Roberto." smiled Hector. "Just because some of us are old, that doesn't mean were fully past it yet."
"Aye, the same applies to me." nodded Rosa.
"And my Dad." said Lynn Sr.
"What about you Mr. Grouse?" asked Lana.
"Some days I feel younger and fit than others." Mr. Grouse replied.
"He's got that right." said Lola, remembering how fast Mr. Grouse could run when they were looking for valuables across town.
[Back at Sunset Canyon, Lincoln and Albert reach the front door only to find that Sue's patrolling the lobby again and split up. She gets out her keys, ready to lock up, and looks at her watch which shows it's a few minutes before curfew.]
Sue: "Ah, close enough." [locks up]
Everyone glared at Sue.
"Oh come on!" exclaimed Lynn.
"That's not even fair at all!" shouted Bobby.
"That... lousy…" Rita began before she covered Lily's ears. Seeing what Rita was about to say, Frida did the same for Carlitos. "...BITCH!" she shouted.
"You can say that again." hissed Lucy as the two mothers uncovered the babies' ears.
"Now they're gonna get in trouble for something she did!" groaned Stella.
[Lincoln tries to open the front door, but it refuses.]
Lincoln: [Grunts and becomes annoyed] "Dang it!"
Sue: [on voice box] "Attention, residents! Time for room check!"
Albert: "Double dang it!"
"Double dang it is right." said Clyde.
Bernie: "Psst! Al! Up here!"
[The other residents appear at their windows. Lincoln and Albert look up to them.]
Bernie: "We saw you at the ball game on TV. Didn't know you were a boxers guy."
Seymour: "I saw your name in the sky, Al. You really do rule!"
Scoots: "We're not gonna let Shrew kick you outta here. Come on, you old farts! I need your canes!"
"Well that was nice of them." smiled Frida.
"Huh, never really took Scoots as the helpful type." said Luna.
"Maybe she and Pop-Pop are good friends." suggested Leni.
[Lincoln and Albert smile with hope; meanwhile, Sue's checking on the rooms.]
Sue: "Evening, Melba. [Warns] Uh-uh-uh! No liquids before bed."
"Understandable if she has a weak bladder." said Lisa.
[Scoots hooks Seymour and Bernie's canes down to Lincoln and Albert who use them like a climbing rope and get up to her room, but Sue is checking up on that room only to see Scoots.]
Scoots: [chuckles] "Just workin' on my cat puzzle."
[As soon as Sue leaves, Lincoln and Albert pop out from behind her sofa.]
Lincoln and Albert: "Phew."
"That was close." sighed Skippy.
Sue: [preparing to check Albert's room] "Albert?"
[Seymour comes out in a towel holding a shower head.]
Seymour: "Sue! Help! I can't turn my shower off!"
"Thank you Seymour." smiled Winston.
[Sue goes into Seymour's room to help him out and Albert and Lincoln sneak over to the door to Albert's room only to find it's locked. Albert checks his pockets.]
Albert: "Nuts. Can't find my key."
"Oh I hate it whenever that happens." muttered Lynn Sr.
Bernie: "I got ya. You gave me a spare."
"Thanks Bernie." smiled Francisco.
[They enter Bernie's room and get the spare key.]
Lincoln: "Thanks, Bernie."
[They use the key and get into Albert's room.]
Lincoln: "We did it!"
Albert: "We sure took it to Sue."
[They fist bump, but they hear Sue again and appear with guilty looks.]
Sue: [Threatening] "Oh, did you, now?"
[It's revealed that she was waiting in his bed and has caught them in the act.]
"Busted!" cried Sergio.
"Oh no!" groaned Sid.
[Now, Albert is being forced out of the home.]
Lincoln: "But-but-but-but-"
Sue: [Firmly] "No buts. You missed curfew and it's out on your keister!"
"He missed curfew?! You were the one who decided to lock up a few minutes early, Shrew!" hissed Lola.
"If anything, you should be out in your keister!" snapped Lana.
"Her behavior towards my father and all those seniors is unacceptable!" exclaimed Rita.
"Yeah, you should 'Sue' her!" laughed Luan. "Get it?"
Lincoln: "I'm sorry, Pop-Pop. I never should have made you leave today. And now you're getting kicked out. I know how much you loved it here."
"It's so sad how he's losing his home!" Frida sobbed.
Albert: "No worries, kiddo. I regret nothing. You see that day we just had? I don't wanna be livin' in a place that makes me feel like an old geezer anyhow."
[Lincoln smiles at what his Pop-Pop just said.]
Everyone smiled at the two as Lincoln and Albert shared a hug.
Sue: "Who cares? Let's get moving."
All the Louds growled at Sue.
"She'll pay for ruining that Golden Family moment." hissed Rita (2).
[Enter Scoots]
Scoots: "Hold on there, Shrew. If you kick Albert out, then you gotta kick me out, too."
Sue: [mercilessly] "With pleasure."
Seymour: "And us, too!"
[All the seniors are shown to be standing up for Albert.]
Bernie: "Yeah! You won't have much of a seniors' center without seniors! Zing! That's a burn from Bernie!"
[The seniors and Sue eye each other back and forth.]
"You have good pals there Pop-Pop." smiled Lori.
"Though I'm still surprised Scoots is standing up for him." commented Clyde.
"Guess she has a heart when she's not acting reckless." said Lincoln.
"And it's probably a real party with Albert whenever he's up for it." said Mrs. Johnson.
Sue: [defeated] "Fine! Albert stays! NOW GO BACK TO YOUR ROOMS!"
Albert: [Angrily] "We'll go back when we're good and ready! We're not babies and you're gonna stop treating us that way!"
"Yeah, you tell her Pop-Pop!" cheered Luna.
"She ain't gonna boss you around like that anymore!" cheered Carl.
[Sue viciously snaps her clipboard in half and stomps away while the seniors and Lincoln hold Albert, but that proves to be a mistake as they drop him on their frail and old bodies and moan in pain.]
Albert: "There goes the hip."
"Ooh!" everyone winced.
"Were you guys ok?" asked Principal Ramirez.
"We were able to recover." said Lincoln.
[Rita drives the van up to pick up Lincoln with his grandpa waving to his daughter.]
Rita: "Hi, Dad! Come on, Lincoln!"
Albert: "So long, kiddo! I can't wait for your next visit." [winks and whispers] "And, bring your chaps in case we wanna do some... bull riding."
Lincoln: "And my parachute."
[They hug each other.]
"That's so sweet!" Frida sobbed.
"Can we join in too?" Lana asked eagerly.
"You know it kiddos." Albert replied.
Seymour: [from inside.] "Hey, Big Al! [Lincoln's and Al's eyes turn to him.] We're having a celebratory late night swim! Go grab your trunks!"
[They stop hugging.]
Albert: "Don't need 'em! Till next time, Lincoln!" [heads inside and takes off all his clothes, throwing them out at the van.]
Scoots: "Now this guy knows how to party!"
[The awkward expression on Lincoln's face indicates he doesn't want to see that.]
Everyone grimaced while Albert chuckled nervously.
"Well that was quite the episode." said Maria.
"I liked it. It was nice seeing grandparent and grandchild bonding." smiled Rosa.
"Si. Remind me of us and our grandkids." said Hector, making Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Carlota, CJ, Carl, and Carlitos smile.
"Well thanks to that, I think I now see where Lynn and even Lincoln get their fast energy from." said Margo.
"And Luna's love for music aside from her Dad." said Carlota.
"And Luan's sense of humor, also aside from her Dad." said Benny.
"And Lana's risky behavior." added David.
"I still had a fun time with you that day, Pop-Pop." smiled Lincoln.
"So did I, Lincoln." Albert smiled. "And thanks again for reminding me that even though I'm old, I'm not fraile, weak, and passed it yet. And that led up to all of us standing up to Sue."
"How come we never saw her during our future visits to the home?" asked Lucy.
"Upper management heard about Sue's behavior towards us and she was fired and replaced by the board." said Albert.
