The Return Of The Marauders Part I: Harry Potter And The Sorceror's Stone
Warnings: From here on and forward, Harry's title for Sirius changes, as he becomes his father, as the years they spent together now change things now. As he and Harry start acting like father and son, as year 5 changes things further as he's now acting like a real father here. To him as he and Harry developed a bond that would take his place with James as the years go by now.

Chapter 6: The Sorting Continues, The Feast And the School Song
"Well another Weasley, I know just what to do with you..., Gryffindor!" he shouted out and Ron smiled as he moved to them and she smiled as she hugged him and he smiled as he pressed his forehead to her's gently as we waited for the blow back on this, 'Well that's 4 of us right now, and I'm next followed by Neville.' I thought gently as she said it then. "Zacharias Smith!" she called out then and he moved forward and sat down as he said it firmly then.
"Yes, cunning, willing to use any means to achieve ends and wanting to find real friends, slight arrogance, right, yes right, okay, Slytherin!" he shouted out and he looked up in shock and we knew he was about to start arguing as his robes acquired the green trim some of the arrogant young wizards hated. "I was born of a long line of Hufflepuffs, I should go there." he said and he said it. "Times change, young man." he said sternly and she nodded.
"Indeed times change, at times, before you become gold again, you must endure the pain of being in over your head in water, now move to the table." Severus said sternly and he looked down and did as he was told then. "Harry Potter!" she called out then and I moved forward then. "Hmm, difficult, very difficult, courage I see, not a bad mind, there's talent I see here, and a gentle thirst to prove you are not how everyone sees."
"But where to put you..." he said and I said it. 'I wish to remain with my friends, my brothers and sisters, I want to be with my friends.' I thought gently and he said it. "Are you sure, you could be great you know, it's all here, and Slytherin wil help you on to greatness, there is no doubt about that." he said and I said it. 'I have the powers yes, but I love my family even more the power, I wish to remain with them.' I thought and that did it with him.
"No, well if you're sure, better be..., Gryffindor!" he shouted out and I smiled in relief and delight as I moved to my friends and they hugged me tightly as I sat down and looked at my mentors then who were all smiling at me then gently as Dumbledore lifted his goblet then and I smiled at him then. "Well, another born of the family house, gentle courage, trustworthy and caring, cunning and not a bad mind either, like your counterpart."
"So where to put you?" he asked and I knew he thought what I was thinking as I heard the same question twice then. "Are you sure, you could be great you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on to greatness, there is no doubt about that." he said and I knew he made his choice."No, well if you're sure, better be..., Gryffindor!" he shouted out and I smiled in relief and delight, as the four of us exchanged smile of happiness.
As he moved to us then gently at that in relief then as we looked at him happily, before we had Lavender, Parvati, Millie, Tracy and Daphne added to our group then and I smiled, as we looked at Susan who was smiling back at us and nodded my head. 'Love you brother.' she said to me with her eyes. 'Love you too sister.' I thought back to her, and I knew the professors were relieved to make a few changes, before we had further problems then gently at that.
As the sorting changed further and we had our un-named girls moved into Slytherin, I knew they were relieved they had a chance to be their own heads of house this way without the added problems that came with it then. "Hey Mione, could you set a list, as this looks like it's matching up to the movie version to this, and we had 5, before me and another before Neville." I said to her and she nodded as she wrote down who went where as she said it to me then.
"Alright so there we go, we got the girls with me, Draco with you, Zacharias is now in the house that matches his original ambitions here now, Hannah, Ernie, Susan and Justin are together in Hufflepuff, Leanne is also Hufflepuff." she said and I nodded as I answered her. "Who's left out of the forty of us right now, Sis?" I asked and she explained that to me. "We got 29 others here, but the ones not named yet are and were now." she said and looked down then.
"Well we got work to do here right now in making changes here right now, we had the quartet moved into Gryffindor, and Zach moved into Slytherin now. And your two un-named members in your dorm moved into Slytherin, so that leaves the 29 next, we need a way so the head boy and girl can get this. And with them is the prefects, 8 prefects, and they need to know more then said house, but our names and faces." I said to her and she nodded in agreement to that.
"Mione, write down those names, I only know my side, so I need the others, before we have a fight break out with me and my male counterpart and with us. The quartet this way we know who's who, instead of going by our robe colors, we need to know their names, as you go by your nickname now in truth. And with Oliver and Sarah your prefects here." Oliver's female counterpart said to her, from the other table then and I nodded in agreement to her thoughts then.
"Another new change right now to the school sign up with us as cubs here, said means so the prefects and head boy and girl got our names correct." I said to her and she nodded as she and I quickly created a new rule. "We have only one way to know who's who in their case right now, as we grow up the older students, as new students come in, as in 6 years we're the oldest of the classes with Ginny and Colin's class right behind us." I said to her and she nodded.
"I got that right now, but we're studying on the lam right now, with us dropping out to handle our mission in looking for the stuff needed, so we take 7th year. As 18 year olds." Ron said in response and she and I nodded as I shot a look at Minerva and Kingsley and they both nodded. 'Got it baby, we understand, you're joining in with Ginevra and Luna's class that year to finish, in your cases, that's the three of you.' Andy said to me for all of them at that.
"In honest truth, we know each other by name with us always around each other, so make that change, and so our prefects also know us by name now." Draco said in response to that. "Well I know at first you hated us and us you, but the male version in his case got turned into, now, a girl, at the moment, but before you go there. I'm engaged and in love with Ron's sister, she, that's Mione belongs to Ron." I said and he nodded as he and Daphne both nodded.
"And there aren't many decent wizards, but next to the Weasleys, who are the only other wizards we know and hang around with here in school right now?" I asked and they both looked at Seamus, Neville and Dean and nodded in understanding to that. "Before we set aside the barriers, here, but what you want a bet he starts doing what I did, before we buried the hatchet?" he asked and I shook my head. "No bet, I don't doubt he will." she said for the four of us then.
"But our trim colors on these robes only show said house, not our names so with that, we create I.D.'s, so whoever is wondering the halls at night here. But Percy proved something when you were pretending to be Crabbe and Goyle, so with that, these are going to be necessary for the prefects and the head boy. Him and the head girl so they know who's who now when said prefect is on duty, can ask for said card." she said and I nodded and Dean smiled at the idea.
"Our doubles in the muggle world, our movie, us at our current age to senior year of high school." Dean said and I nodded he smiled as he got what I had in mind here and said it then. "Idea here." I said, grabbing the cast list, I saw they looked just like us, and then cast an aging spell on the cast as we saw ourselves age into our near young adult stage as teenagers and she slammed her hand on the table in relief and Oliver nodded smiling at my idea then.
"You're the oldest of the six of you Oliver, you need this most." I said to him and he nodded. "Cedric is a fourth year, you're a fifth year right now, so he and I were two of the best seekers in the school and next to us is Draco right now, so with that, we're doing a practice scrimmage game, before try outs. And for the back up teams, so one is this, and the other is we got work to make changes here in attendance, before someone gets hurt." I said and he nodded to me then.
And then tapped a picture, and it flashed onto the list next to said name, as our faces appeared next to the list of names and I nodded as in relief he did that. "Okay name and photo, we do this in the muggle world as student I.D.'s, identification card, we use this as students, with us living on campus now. But that's us as we are now, this is us, when we graduate." I said as I pointed to us as 17 near 18 year olds and Oliver and Sarah smiled at the idea then gently at that.
"Trevor Boot, Mandy Brocklehurst, Michael Corner, Stephen Cornfoot, Vince Crabbe, Kevin Entwhistle, Seamus Finnigan, Anthony Goldstein, Greg Goyle. As well as Wayne Hopkins Megan Jone, Su Li, Isobel Macdougal, Roger Malone, Teddy Nott, Lily Moon, Pansy Parkinson, the Patil twins, Sally-Anne Perks. Albert Runcorn, Jr. okay so that's Al Runcorn Jr., Oliver Rivers, Sophie Roper, Dean Thomas, Lisa Turpin and Blaise Zabini." she said to me and I nodded to her.
As she put the initial to each house next to their names and then wrote down, Hogwarts first years, she passed it to Oliver, and he read through it then. And gave her a nod in response, and I knew he was going to need this, as I saw humiliated look on Percy's face that he never bothered to ask names then. As he gave a snap of his fingers and the quintet all nodded as I knew they were getting the message he was passing the list to them so they knew each other.
"Headmaster, new idea so the prefects and head boy and girl can handle this right now, but identification cards, another piece in the broken rules we did. In that one, Percy need to know who we were pretending to be when he was parading around the school Christmas night, after Mione's blunder in potions. "That's the polyjuice potion after Millie's cat left that hair on her robes at the time." I said and Dumbledore nodded to me at that at that as Pomona nodded gently.
"We know who's who in our students, as we know you by name calling you by name, this helps, so our newly activated prefects know who's who here now. And with them the head-boy and girl as Charlie and Dora were last year's and we got Ms. Jennifer Wainscott and David Patterson as this year's." she said and I nodded. "Want for a better word, you're asking for trouble if they never grab the I.D. with the hairs if someone tries that twice." I said and she smiled then.
"Trying to go undercover in the dorms, after pulling the same stunt you and Ronald did in that book, young man?" Professor Addams asked me and I nodded. "Yes and there is no need to now, as we know he's hexed someone to let the blasted thing loose here right now." I said and he nodded in agreement. "Well this has you knowing if they don't know the password or code to get in, they're a fake here, in playing with the potion." Ron added and he chuckled then.
"And anyone else tries that, you're losing 50 points and a week's worth of detentions students, don't try it here." Severus said and my class and the second years all nodded. "Nice reminder, but if that's not humiliating after you realize someone used an animal hair instead of human here, then nothing is, case in point. Said was me, as you realized there was a potions blunder right now, that got messed up." Mione said and he and Madam Pomphrey nodded gently.
"Well it worked on your brother and Ronald, but this is why you need to pay careful attention to detail, before you land yourselves in my care now here. And for whatever reason right now." she said and Mione nodded in agreement. "And again we're not having the usual case of stunts you cubs got into in that book ending up for real right now, running loose never year cubs, so no more rule breaking, you know what to do." Dumbledore said and we all nodded to him.
"Whoever of you muggle-borns came up with that idea, we can set that up in the morning, but I heard that." Ted said to that remark with a slight smile and Minerva tried to keep from laughing at his remark. "With you as the faculty knowing who each of us is, it's the prefects you need this for, as for some after running into said doppelganger, of said students, and he never knew the names of said students, said junior aurors are pretending to be, so dead give away."
"We need this, but there you go." I said and he and Andy nodded to me. "And the arrogance of being a prefect to come with it, now we were acting like junior aurors, he's pretending to be important by flashing that badge around like it's royalty." Ron said and Severus crossed his arms. "I call that another good reason to get rid of said arrogance, or you're going to get hurt here right now." Madam Hooch said to that remark sternly and Minerva nodded to that.
After everyone had been sorted into their houses, we all settled in, before she called for our attention. "Your attention please!" she said and we relaxed as Dumbledore stood up. "Let the feast begin." he said and dinner appeared on the table then as we all looked at the ensemble and started eating then. "Before say it right now, Seamus, that portion is not funny, we had that had twice prior to you and your parents." I said to him and he looked at me at that remark.
"How so?" he asked and I said it to him then. "It's because Riddle's mother and father were the first, she's a witch, he's a muggle, but she drugged him. And with a love potion, and when she decided to stop, to give him a chance to choose on his own, he left her immediately, before that happened again. And with the half blood prince's parents." I said and he nodded in shock. "So nearly third time's the charm?" Draco asked and I nodded to him and they both nodded.
"Yeah, but Eileen Prince happens to be the best potions student in the entire school, but we have only three half-bloods who are the most powerful students. In truth ever, I'm one of them, the others are Riddle himself and then the Professor, not Professor Dumbledore, but Professor Snape's he's a half-blood." I said and they nodded in shock. "Running comparisons here right now, I found something interesting in the three brothers story-line, but when Death got cheated."
"He decided to hang back until the duo's own arrogance back fired, envy, lust for power and then out of the trio, the youngest brother, Peverell now. Ignotus Peverell, was the most humble of the trio, and got the cloak here, while the others wanted a way to absolute power and another wanting his loved one back." I said and he nodded in shock of my knowledge at that news. "Well I never saw that coming." Lee said to me and I nodded as I answered him gently at that.'
"One more reason to study history, it makes it easier to understand these things, and to prevent a repeater of the past by making changes here now." I said and they nodded as Dumbledore and Remus hid a chuckle at that as Severus said it for him then. "I heard that, and nice work in explanations." Severus said in response and they started laughing. "And that's the reason you need to pay attention, you learn some interesting history here." Andy said to that remark then.
"Hey Professors, I came up with an idea of how you can know who's a visitor to who's a student, we create student identifications cards, they do this now. For private schools, so unless you have your student I.D. with you at all time, and can't leave campus." I called out and they all nodded. "Nice idea son, that works, as we're going to need those, so we know we got an intruder here or just a doppelganger." Ted said in response and Dumbledore nodded to that.
"Is Binns retired now?" Ron asked and she nodded. "Yes, and with us making changes to the school expect some interesting side effects." Dumbledore said and we all nodded. "Hey we're not toddlers, so stop playing with your food." Mione said to someone else was clearly trying to annoy her at that. "Yeah I agree with that, and listen wise guy, this is not the time to start horsing around, so stop it already." I said in response, before I heard a slightly amused remark then.
"Alright who took my corn on the cob?" one of the first years at my table said. "I don't know, but we're not having disappearing acts with the food or utensils here, and I see anything flying around the room and you're both going to get it, now that's enough of that already." Remus said to that in response and I tried to keep from laughing at that. "And that's papa wolf for you right now, but I'm really going to enjoy this year right now." I said and I knew he was smiling.
"Just getting back to school and our world after coming home and already he's going to be our star pupil in everything here now." I heard from Madam Hooch and the quartet nodded. "Hey don't try it Seamus..." I heard and then heard a loud explosion that blew up the turkey. "Alright who did it this time exactly?" Mione asked and Seamus held his hand up. "Didn't we already talk about this, until you mastered the control don't try it?" I asked and he looked down then.
"Yeah well the corn just got popped here, as we have pop corn kernels all over the table right now." Lee said to that and I nodded. "Yeah but you just roasted said chicken even more then it is already." Mione said in response, bemused as we exchanged looks then. "Well at least it wasn't the ham or we're hamming it up." Draco said and I tried to keep from laughing. "Yeah, but I think Mr. Turkey went all to pieces right now." Ron said and our teachers started laughing.
"Yes, and that's enough of the explosion hexes before you destroy something made of glass here and that's enough of the dinner jokes." Severus called out and we all nodded. "Just what happened to him exactly, he's nothing like he was when we were cubs and starting out?" Adam Hancock asked me and I said it. "He and the Marauders, that's my father's gang, buried the hatchet, since the truth came out Pettigrew killed my parents." I said and he nodded in shock then.
"Pettigrew turned on my parents and then framed dad for the murder, after killing 13 muggles at the time here, but after I arrested Pettigrew myself here. He changed and now has a chance to in being a normal teacher, as you see he's more relaxed and he's looking at Quirrell with a warning look right now. But always remember this, though he may look it, he would never hurt anyone, he's reformed death eater, but he and dad look dangerous and they're not."
"While Pettigrew and Lucius Malfoy don't look dangerous and they are, you're which version exactly?" I asked and he smiled. "I'm also a muggle-born." he said and I nodded. "Okay so you understand what I mean, it's not the money, values or family, it's the individual, right now, in which case there is very good story. That can define it here, and they made a movie out of it, last decade here." I said and they nodded as Dumbledore got the message and wrote said down.
"Whoa I never noticed that before, where did that come from?!" I heard a student call out in shock and everyone lifted their eyes to the screen that was hanging from behind the staff table. "Tell you later son, but first time to finish up in eating dinner." one of the faculty said and they all nodded as we finished eating dinner, before dessert appeared on the table next, and I grabbed some treacle tart and next to it was a cupcake with chocolate frosting then.
"Well this is first, we normally never get into conversation with the faculty during dinner here." Lee said to me and I nodded. "Another change, we're acting like a family and we're not segregated here, but remember what she said, our house is like our family, she's the head of our pride." I said and he smiled. "Issues in this school though separate houses, we're acting like a real family, and 3/4's of us threw aside the old ways now." Cedric said from behind us and we nodded.
"Indeed 3/4's and there will be a backlash if I heard said word again, students, I mean that." Severus said and we all nodded. "Do I even want to know what said word is?" Sally asked and I said it. "It's the same as calling an African American the N word." I said to her as I explained it to her. "This is really an offensive word for a witch or wizard of non magical upbringing, there are some, like the death eater spawn, who believe they are better then the rest of us."
"Because they are what we call pureblood." I said and she nodded. "That's awful." she said and I nodded. "It's disgusting." Ron said in response, and Hagrid said it sternly. "And it's codswallop to boot, in these days there is not a wizard or witch who was not half blood or less. And if e've never married muggles we'd have died out, and more to the point there is not a spell created that Mione or his mother could not perform." he said and I nodded to finish that remark then.
"In which case and I'm saying it now, the more that word is used on this campus the more you lose points, so watch your mouths, and Slytherin table. I mean you in that sentence, so watch your language here." I said and the good members nodded sternly in agreement. "Nice way to clean up the bigotry on this campus Mr. Potter, it's time the truth came out of which lineage owns this castle and where talk like that gets you." Minerva said and Flitwick nodded sternly.
And Severus nodded. "Anyone else feel like we did this conversation before, only in your hut Hagrid?" Mione asked and he nodded with a bemused smile. "And that's the last I want to see a spell backfire, before I get the reason why it happened in the first place." he said and I tried to hold it in. "And next year there is going to be no more showing up that way, if the portal closed, before you could make the train." Minerva said and we all started laughing and nodded then.
"Alright who's bright idea was it to catch the train this way, and not turn on the cloak, before you did it?" Ted asked and I started laughing. "My fault Sir." Ron said and he nodded with a bemused smile. "Well before you try that twice, wait for us to arrive, as if that's not desperate to prevent you from coming to school then nothing is." Madam Hooch said to that. "Tell me about, and that's what I said right now, as that's an accident waiting to happen." I said to her at that.
"Or a trip to Poppy waiting to happen, but I remember that, your father crashed into said tree after someone sealed that portal closed when we, that's your parents and I, were your age." Madam Hooch said and I nodded. "Was that when the Whomping Willow got put in, when our parents were our age?" Fred asked and she nodded. "Yes it was, and there was a reason why we never wanted you going near it, as if you got all the way to the shack here now."
"And it's a trip to the hospital wing waiting to happen here." Poppy said to him and he nodded. "If I got the story right at the moment, but Peter hexed him told him to go in, and if mum never asked where he went, and dad would be too late." I said and she, Severus and Minerva all nodded. "Yes that's what happened here alright, before our rivalries reached the point of public humiliation here." he said and I nodded as I answered him gently at that remark.
"I get why you couldn't let go of that image of his father, Uncle Sev, but we're beyond bigoted at that age, as we're sophomores, before our egos deflate." Mione said and he nodded to her, "That's the name her father and his mother call me." he said and they all nodded gently to that. "In which case that's what destroyed my relationship with his mother, before I changed back, long story, and one we can go into later, Miss Perks." he said and she nodded to him.
"So you and his father's trio dropped all issues after the truth came out, and you're going passed old school mates to near friends?" Lee asked and he nodded. "Yes, and his father told me, through the map, to take care of him, and I will, what's also in there is Ms. Granger's father is my other best friend now. And I promised them and the Weasley's I'd watch over the trio, and with them, Madam Aggie's grandson, Mr. Longbottom." he said and they all nodded to him then.
"Well that says now is we're about to become a real family here in the school the barriers got dropped, we're acting like their our parents now." Dean said and I nodded. "In a literal truth here, Narcissa sent her twin here to watch over Draco, and Sirius with her, she's my aunt, and he's my adopted cousin." I said and he nodded. "So big sister cousin, big sister, brother and aunt and uncle?" Seamus asked me and I nodded as Draco and I exchanged grins then gently.
"Charlie was Dora's best friend and she's the oldest of the three of us, as Lestrange never got the chance to have children, right now." Draco said and they nodded. "What you want a bet that Lucius sends a letter on this tomorrow after Aunt Cissy says it finally, she divorced him and got her original name back, but the inheritance is between us and Dora." I asked and he nodded. "No bet, I don't doubt he will, but never mind that, I changed." he said to me and I nodded.
"Hey you're my best friend, in this version of our lives right now, you're not jealous either way." I said and he nodded. "And why would you go behind our backs in trying to sign up for the tournament, we're freshmen in high school and that's a death sentence, we don't have enough training." Daphne said and Mione nodded and Ron sighed, and I knew he was in shock that they could see it and he couldn't right then as I looked at Mione then gently at that.
"And that's just what I want to hear from you young lady, you know he would never do this, and why would he, he hates his popularity, right now here. And it's Hufflepuff's year to shine that year, he's just in it to catch our escaped death eater." Andy said to that and the trio smiled at her approval then. "Whoever it might be, though Barty escapes and tries it before he gets unmasked he's asking for the phoenix flame on high here." I said and she and Dumbledore nodded.
"And from us and the headmaster, aside from being my best friend's son, it's been four years and now he crossed a line we're not letting him get away with." Severus said sternly and Minerva nodded in stern agreement to that. "Does he expect to get away with attempted murder after possibly killing his father, he tries it with me and he's out of that potion?" I asked and he nodded. "If he does he's gone totally mad right now." Ted said sternly and the trio nodded to that.
"And when this school is crawling with both ministry workers and order members, he's lost his bloody mind completely now, as we always took your safety seriously here." Hagrid said to that. "Whatever was in your memories on that right now, that's you and Professor Moody, I can wait to find out right now Headmaster." I said and he and Madam Pomphrey nodded. "Indeed, you're too young to see that right now." she said and I nodded to that in agreement then.
"As if Peter's not bad enough, this is worse where Neville is concerned if this was why Rita was possibly at that trial?" I asked and he nodded. "Yes and to put it bluntly, we had the headmaster of Durmstrang arguing I never changed and I remained loyal to 'him' right now, but I've been exonerated here. To pay for my crimes as stand accused right now, I've been training students in potions meant to protect them in case they get attacked." Severus said and I nodded to him.
"And of all the ways for Mister Crouch to find that out it had to be by a death eater and one that was passing off old information to him and to you, Professor." I said and he nodded. "Well you got the truth by the twins showing you said map." he said to me then gently. "And thank Merlin for that, were it not for said map we'd have never found out and he'd never be free right now, as our home lives and our world are changing and turning more promising now finally."
"But what if we never caught it till year three, can you imagine the back-lash it's a wonder he stayed with my family this long, before getting realized now. As I saw that on the map, and then checked his foot, he realizes he got found out and he could kill someone." Ron said to him and he nodded to him. "And I don't care if he thought that map was lying or not, there is no reason to be holding that information back till it nearly kills someone during a game right now."
"But are you trying to kill everyone in the school if Fred never did it that night, he gets found out, he could kill the witnesses and whoever else with them. But honestly here Percy, just where the bloody hell is your common sense right now, it's our job to protect our younger peers, and this in truth to all of us. This is beyond reckless right now, that's why you lost the badge." Oliver snapped sternly and Percy looked down, and I knew he was beyond humiliated at that.
"That's our kid brother and his trio we're talking about, he's my responsibility during the games, and frankly, it's my job now to take charge right now here. But in my honest opinion, now that I carry both, I now have a serious responsibility of protecting him and his friends, from an injury here right now." he said sternly and Alicia, Angelina and Katie looked at me with a look of sisterly love in their eyes as Fred and George looked at me with brotherly love then.
"He's the youngest of the main team, as we create back up teams now, and that's why we got the try outs set up right." Ron said and Dumbledore nodded. "I know, but Ron you need to relax, or we're never going to make it, you're my counterpart, but with you this young key point here is focus on your academics. Over the athletics, or the failing grade is going to have you miss a match once I leave here, in 3 years." Oliver said to him and he nodded gently at that.
"And that's what's considered being the favorite big brother, you're about to be normal and you care enough to make sure we make it right now in school." Mione said to him and he smiled at her. "I know, but that's the reason Charlie chose me to take his place before he left for Romania right now, he chose me, to look out for you. You guys, and Fred and George are the wardens, me with them in the case of the team as Harry is the youngest of our team as it is now."
"As it is, summer training took on a whole new meaning right now, but this year, you better stay out of trouble, before that costs us whatever number now. In points there is right now, as a result of getting caught without his cloak and before Peeves does something else to irritate him right now." he said and Minerva chuckled and nodded. "Any problems in the kitchen tonight?" I asked and she started laughing. "No, not this time." Pomona said to me and I nodded to that.
