Harry Loses The First Task

Harry watched as the dragon considered him before it raised a claw, put out a single talon and then pushed a rock towards him. As it did so, the watching students, officials and a few members of the press gasped as Harry winced as if in a lot of pain. The dragon, for its part, was almost grinning and laughing in delight as Harry made his own move - keeping his gaze locked firmly on the magical creature. He knew that he had made a mistake when it leaned in, the dragon's hot breath ticking his ear as it pushed another rock forward, destroyed the one that Harry had moved and then picked up a conjured sign and showed it to him.

Checkmate... Who knew that the dragons could be bloody good chess players?
