Author's note: OH MY GOSH EVERYONE, THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER! I completed this monster story and it's finally over. I'm not sure if I feel sad, happy, relieved, or just amazed. I just want to personally thank those who have followed, fav, and my reviewers. To my reviewers out there, you made this possible for me to continue this story, even when I had doubts or stupid writers block. Seeing everyone still interested this kept me going, so really thank you so much!

I'm thinking of writing another story soon, but I'm not sure. The stories I have now are still incomplete, but I don't have any muse for them really. I'm thinking of rewriting a syren story, back to the good old supernatural. Although, I might write a story based on this show called Bridgerton, which takes place in the 1800s and has the elite and dukes and duchesses. Btw, if you haven't already, try out bridgerton, it's an awesome show. Let me know in the comments or private message me for what you guys want.

Even though this story shall end, I hope it won't be forgotten and maybe someday I could reach 200 reviews:} This fanfic will become fang as old as time, god, I need to work on my puns lol.

Anyways here's the last chapter of amortentia lilac and I can finally put it all in complete.

Disclaimer: Don't own Miraculous ladybug

Shout out to reviewers, just thank you so much!

11 Thank you, hopefully once you reach this chapter, everything will be cleared up. But yes, there are no kwami and miraculous personas. Totally AU. Mayura and Hawk Moth are different characters. As for the yo-yo, it was an object passed down to the hunter's clan. Sabine gave it to Marinette, one item she managed to save for her daughter despite being banned from the clan. Thanks again, hope this help:}

Misskymm Ah, thank you so much! I'm glad you're really enjoying this story and find my story awesome. That made me so happy, so thank you!

dragonlily2002 Thanks so much and for your past reviews:} They really made me happy that you followed my story and enjoyed it. Your reviews actually helped motivate me to finish this monster story, so thanks for that:} Last chapter, everything comes to place.

No countdown: Ritual Tonight

Chapter 31

Mayura stood in the middle of the greenhouse, staring down at the opened casket, which was surrounded by a bunch of lit candles. Of course, the casket is empty as there is no body, but not for long. Her son and the blonde vampire girl ended up being useful, since they captured the akuma coven. However, they didn't mention about not having Marinette and Adrien, but Mayura didn't care since she took care of the Marinette brat. Mayura being in such a good mood is a bit creepy, which made even the toughest of the guard vampires tremble at her in fright.

Everything was going according to plan as she looked above the sky for the red moon to appear soon. She needed to receive her prisoners, so she ordered one of the guards to go out and fetch them for her. Pretty soon, she would see her darling sister and her sister's annoying mistress, and her new puppet husband having a front row seat of a new generation. Mayura could hardly wait to taste that hybrid's virgin blood, not knowing how wrong she would be when the time came to drink from Marinette.

XOX

Back at the Agreste manor, down below in the medieval dungeons, which held a bunch of vampires and vampyres locked up in cages like the wild animals they are. Nathalie leaned against the wall, with a very much alive queen of vampires on her lap, but still very weak in general. Somehow, even though it almost seemed a lifetime ago. Marinette giving that little bit of blood to the sleeping queen has done wonders for Emilie's condition. Emilie's albino hair now has lucious golden locks again, with skin having some color again, and her green eyes not looking so dull and lifeless like a porcelain doll.

Nathalie could feel many balms of emotions tugging at herself, making the indifferent mask she has put on herself show some emotion on her blank face. Emilie slowly got her strength back by grabbing energy from Nathalie's aurora. Despite Nathalie being pretty weak too, yet Nathalie wouldn't complain since she got to see her lovely sunflower awake again. Nathalie wasn't blind to see Rolland staring at them in longing, but not in the longing to be with them. If that was the case, she would have used her voice power, despite her throat feeling raspy and too weak to even heighten her voice into a yell. She would have chosen a song to sing alright, which would blast him away from even thinking about making them a threesome. Nathalie was used to seeing a lot of happy polymerous vampires in her community, but she didn't partake since she didn't share and having more than one partner would give her a headache.

Nonetheless, what Nathalie saw and understood was the sorrow of a broken mate, since Gina was no longer with them. Nathalie didn't have a lot of friends, since she wasn't the social butterfly at all, yet Gina had this way for making hermit-like vampires crack away from their hardened shells. Nathalie's attention went over to Gabriel, even though the high and mighty king of vampires had truly fallen. He looked like a ghost of himself, with Mayura doing a number of him on her allure, and making him look like a soulless vessel. If Nathalie didn't loathe him so much, she would have sort of pitied him, but she found his pathetic state quite amusing.

"What's with the serious face, love," Emilie asked Nathalie suddenly, which brought Nathalie's attention back to the dozing blonde on her lap.

Emile felt weak, but she still caressed Nathalie's scarred face gently. Emilie found out how Nathalie got those scars, but she felt no ill will towards Marinette for unintentionally giving her mate those scars. Emilie's attention then went towards Sabine, finding the former huntress having her head leaning against her husband Tom. Emilie's glad Sabine didn't hold a grudge towards Nathalie, since Emile understood the protectiveness of what a mother held for their darling child. Emile could feel her hackles rise at Tom, since she still felt angry at Tom for what he did to her child and Marinette all those years ago.

Emile may have been in a deep slumber for a long time, so she's still weak by being intune with her gift by reading auroras. However, she felt a slight vindictiveness with how she could feel Marinette and her precious son bond being fully formed. She may not be available to see their auroras, but she could feel something change with her son's aurora, which is fully intertwined with Marinette's. Of course, Emilie lived through many centries and being a carnal vampyre, so her son's sex life didn't really phase her. On the other hand, Tom would freak out once he finds out, but Emile's not petty enough to casually tell Tom about that. No, it's best to wait for now, but she did find dark satisfaction that she won this over Tom in the end. Emile may be the good twin, unlike her sister Amelie or Mayura now, but that didn't mean she had her own twisted side too,

Suddenly, any thoughts of Tom vanished when she noticed Mayura's pet zombie vampires coming back. Emile wasn't sure what's more depressing; the pet humans Mayura kept or the zombie vampires. What Mayura does to them is already despicable, but what she did to the zombie vampires is just vile. First, Mayura would lock the humans in a sunroom, who were in the process of transforming into vampires, while being under the hot sun. Second, Mayura would use her thrall on them so much, which would make anyone into brainless zombies. Finally, she would sometimes use her pet humans she kept for sport and watched how the vampire zombies would eat them. As for the pet humans, Mayura liked to play mind games with them, since they wouldn't even know they're being used to begin with. For instance, they could be safely tucked into their beds, but Mayura only had to call them out and then they would blackout for how long Mayura used them.

The zombie vampires began to open the cages, which happened to be Tom's cage first. Tom and Sabine tried to fight back, but the zombie vampires overpowered them. The zombie vampires then went to Nathalie and her cage, which made them both on high alert. Emilie hissed out loudly as she was pulled away from Nathalie. Emilie tried to convey with her eyes to calm Nathalie down, knowing deep down this might be the last they might see one another… alive.

Emilie may still be pretty weak, but if she's going to die tonight. Then, she would die in dignity like the queen of vampires she was by walking high and mighty. Shortly after, walking throughout her manor, which Emilie always found cold and impersonal. Finally, they found themselves in her greenhouse, which made her frown at this. In the corner of her eye, she noticed the akuma coven chained up, and the those stupid hunter's clan holding onto them like dog on leshes.

Emilie's eyes went lilac as she's about to retort to her crazy sister's brutal treatment. However, Sabine beat her to it when she addressed her old clan.

"Oh dear brother, why must this come to this?! You are mad, brother, simply mad!" Sabine had so many mixed emotions as she yelled at her once brother Wang.

He looked even more demented and so far gone if that's even possible. As for his wife Tomoe, who stared right at Sabine, even though Tomoe no longer could see due to her blindness. Sabine had some regrets by making Tomoe blind, but Sabine would do it again to protect her daughter. Mayura then stopped them before anything more could be conversed.

"If you're quite done, I think it's time to get things started. It's time for a new revolution to begin, but first I need the Alya brat. Felix, bring her forward!" Mayura demanded while Alya struggled in Felix's arms.

Felix could feel the guilt starting to tug at knives within him, but having the dark satisfaction of what would happen to the clueless hunter clan pushes him on. Sadly, the only last bit of humanity he had was his father, but his father no longer is alive due to the clan killing him off. Well, Felix had trouble feeling a bit sentimental or empathetic at all for anything. Felix could hear that Nino fellow screaming up a storm, but those clan hunters proved to be useful for shutting him up. Interesting, by Nino's distress reaction, Felix felt that Alya might be his mate.

How utterly tragic… not. Felix thought to himself with a dark chuckle.

Alya shivered under Felix's dark chuckle as he harshly pushed her towards Mayura. Alya tried to stare at Mayura defiantly, even though Alya could feel this weird instinct to submit under Mayura's intimidating stare. Alya bit her teeth hard when she felt this overwhelming pressure consuming her, almost as if someone's screaming in her ear, and whispering to her to kill and eat. Alya may be out of it, but she could still recognize her cousin Nora staring at her blankly.

Alya now knew about her cousin being one of Mayura's pet humans and now her parents being her pet zombies. Alya had to drink the miraculous cup before Halloween ended, if she didn't want to turn back into a human. However, Mayura would win either way, since Alya might end up being a pet zombie or pet human.

"I won't do it!" Alya clenched out, even though it took so much pressure to even utter a word.

Alya would not drink from her cousin, so she restrained herself from being tempted by the delicious blood veins singing from her cousin's neck. Mayura had the audacity to smirk at these turning events. Alya never thought she could hate someone so much, but a burning passion of loathing towards Mayura spoke volumes.

"Well, it seems you have chosen to go back to being human. Quite a pity, since transforming back to a human could be quite… painful." Once Mayura finished speaking, Alya could feel a burning sensation all over her body.

Alya found herself on the ground, feeling like she's having the worst stomach ache. Everything around her felt distorted, even though she could hear so many concerned voices speaking all at once. However, a pair of blue eyes drew the most attention to Alya, and she seemed to discern them being Marinette's eyes.

Marinette looked down at her friend, feeling how Alya's body felt hot to touch like her skin is boiling. Marinette could hear the gasps of surprise from her coven and her family, but she tried not to look them in the eyes. The people she cared about; didn't know about the ritual taking place and her being the sacrificed lamb. She only wore a white flimsy dress, which made her feel cold by only having this thin material on for warmth. Mayura had her hand out, beckoning Marinette to walk closer to her, even though Marinette wanted to stay near Alya.

Marinette took a deep breath, whispering with assurance to Alya that everything is going to be okay. She ignored everyone crying out to her, but her eyes went towards her grandfather. He had a collar on him, with one of the hunters' holding onto him, yet the hunter under the cloak looked a lot like Luka. It wasn't her imagination with how the hunter put his finger against his lip, signaling her to be quiet. Marinette gave a subtle nod, finding the situation maybe not so hopeless.

Once she reached towards Mayura, she held back a shiver to how Mayura's hands felt against her bare shoulders. It's almost as if spiders started crawling all over her, leaving venomous poison with those slow painful bites. Marinette could feel herself breathe a bit faster, but she tried to control her heartbeat, not wanting to give Mayura the satisfaction by being afraid.

"Everyone, our little sacrifice is here, so it's time for a new era!" As Mayura spoke, different vampires appeared out of the shadows, making Marinette feel more afraid.

However, she felt relieved when she didn't see Chat anywhere. Marinette knew it was a shitty move to leave Chat behind, but she honestly thought that she's protecting him. Now though, Marinette felt a bit lost without him, since she didn't count on the akuma coven being kidnapped as well. Nonetheless, Marinette should have known Mayura wouldn't play fair at all. Once Marinette got that letter from Tikki, she couldn't think straight at all and a dark power tugged her here. No matter what bloody vow you took, there's really no wiggle room around it. For goodness sake, Marinette is supernaturally married through a bloody vow!

Marinette snapped herself out of her thoughts when she felt herself being moved like a docile doll. She found herself in a coffin, a bit light headed by being pushed into one so quickly, and she felt herself panicking when Mayura closed the coffin on her. Marinette started banging onto the coffin, feeling a burning heat consume her when she heard strange chanting in the background.

As to what's going on outside, Mayura stood on top of the coffin and held the miraculous cup towards the light of the red moon. The bad vampires and the hunters yelled in excitement as the blood red moon made the miraculous cup glow. Suddenly, the coffin began to shine and an earth shattering scream pierced through the air. The coffin began to bleed, the blood of poor Marinette, who felt like she's being burned alive in an oven like the witch from Hansel and Gretal story.

Marinette's parents screamed for Mayura to stop, yet they felt themselves being tugged in obedience with Mayura's allure. Mayura then opened the coffin, letting out a bloody and tattered Marinette. Marinette had trouble finding her balance, so she tripped onto the ground with the mocking laughter of Mayura. Despite Marinette being in pain, she still managed to glare defiantly at Mayura. In the corner of her eye, she saw how Mayura used the blood from the coffin, and poured it into the miraculous cup. Mayura then passed the cup around, giving the hunters to drink first, not knowing about what would happen once they drank.

"The taste of blood who once were our enemies,

We come together in union

Sharing our blood and power

We shall become hybrids of our own

Humans now, with supernatural strength,

and immortality no longer in our grasps.

However,

foolish hunters

thinking about how vampires

shall give up their immortality

for the sense of peace.

No,

you foolish clan!

The blood you drink

shall make you

what you despite the most

Vampires!"

Once Mayura finished performing the ritual; the clan members bent down and started to scream at their transformation. However, they might as well have said their deaths, since hunters had something in their genes that couldn't turn them into vampires. They all moaned loudly in pain, but two clan hunters didn't wither in pain on the ground. They pretended to fool the queen, trying to find a way for a distraction to kill the queen with the Cheng dagger.

Marinette watched in a bleary vision, feeling herself with mixed emotions at the scene of the hunter's clan. Suddenly, she felt a wave of calmness and Marinette knew Chat wasn't far behind. Marinette hissed loudly when Mayura pulled her up and tilted her head to the side.

"Foolish clan, thinking a vampyre like me would give up my immortality. Funny thing is, I may be older and wiser, yet I'm not an immortal until I bite you." Mayura whispered to Marinette before biting hard onto her neck.

Marinette whimpered as she felt the fangs of Mayura digging into her neck. The blood droplets dripped into the miraculous cup, which began to warm and glow like a lantern.

"Marinette!" Chat screamed out as he held onto a ladybug earring that guided him here.

Marinette's eyes widened at seeing Chat, feeling the pain on her neck stopping for a moment.

"Adrien!" She screamed back, using his name on purpose as some vampires would be confused.

"Wait, I thought this was Adrien?" One baddie vampire whispered, which happened to be Chloe even though she wasn't really a bad vampire.

Felix then shoved Chloe out of the way, walking towards his mother with his tail between his legs. Mayura smirked at her darling nephew, gripping onto Marinette tighter and enjoying the growl from Adrien.

"Watch your temper, my darling nephew. At least let me have a drink first unless you want your mate to die!" Adrien hissed at his crazy aunt, hating to see the anguish in Marinette's eyes.

Once the moon was aligned with the cup, Mayura made a mock toast and drank down the goblet cup. She threw Marinette towards the ground, making Marinette think how many times her face has come face to face to the ground. Thankfully, Chat caught her this time and she felt safe for a moment. Everyone stood silent as Mayura drank up the miraculous cup.

Mayura looked even crazier if that's even possible. The ground began to shake, which made everyone lose their balance. The clan members, still feeling the pain from the cup, started to scream even louder in distress. Mayura cackled like a hyena, feeling the blood of Marinette pump in and out of her veins.

"Finally, I am what I should have been; a vampyre who is as powerful as a demon! I get to control this world, bringing hell to this Earth and an epidemic of death!" Mayura screamed out before she started to cough up in confusion.

Suddenly, Mayura felt this overpowering sickness. She started to cough up blood, her face losing skin and boiling like a kettle, and her blonde hair becoming albino white. Mayura's hateful eyes launched onto Marinette, which then made Marinette smirk a bit.

"Pure as a virgin's blood, you little wench! You're no longer a virgin, aren't you!" Marinette could feel herself blushed, even though Mayura sounded like a cat being pulled by its tail.

However, Marinette could feel herself a bit embarrassed, especially when Chat puffed off his chest like a proud lion. Despite feeling so weak, Marinette still managed to smack Chat behind the head for his arrogance.

"Don't act like such a schmuck, Chanton. If you were a real cat, my father would skin you alive,"

Adrien gulped a bit once Marinette whispered that last part. If looks could kill, Tom had his eyes set on Adrien like a predator. As for Emilie, the queen of vampires, she started to laugh at the point of insanity. Frankly, in all of her centuries, Emilie found this absolutely comical.

Mayura tried to get towards Marinette, a dead set on revenge for the little brat by foiling her plans. However, she let out a piercing scream when Kagami dug the dagger right into Mayura's darkened heart. Mayura's eyes widened at this, finding herself caught off guard. On the other hand, Mayura wasn't caught off guard for long, since she used one of her poisonous feathers onto Kagami's neck. Kagami yelped in pain, feeling that her vision had started to blur. However, Kagami still went through by making sure this crazy bitch vampire dies. The dagger went even deeper into Mayura's heart, if that's even possible, yet Mayura's body started to feel like rough clay.

"Son, please, help me!" Mayura begged out to Felix, but he ignored his mother's woes and ran out of the green house like the coward he was.

No one tried to stop him, since everyone found themselves captivated by finally seeing Mayura dying.

Good or bad, Mayura was the wicked tyrant of them all.

Marinette then joined her cousin Kagami, having this strange understanding to take out Mayura's heart. As Mayura literally pulled Mayura's heart out, she could hear the creaking and groaning from the dead beating organ. Mayura let out one howl scream before she turned into a stone statue. Everyone became absolutely silent, but Marinette stared dumbstruck at the heart that turned into stone. Marinette then began to panic when the greenhouse started to bleed like it's own fountain. As the blood touched upon a person, they turned into stone like Mayura, which made Marinette so confused!

"Chat, what's happening?!" Marinette yelled out, noticing in dismay with how Alya turned into stone. Not long after, Nino joined in as he tried to protect Alya from the deadly blood.

"It's the ritual, you have to make a wish or everything will go into destruction!" Emilie yelled out, feeling the blood starting to creep up her legs. Chat quickly picked Marinette up, putting her into piggy-back style in order to avoid stepping onto the black blood.

They slowly walked towards Chat's mother while trying to get more answers from her. Chat felt worried at seeing his mother in this state, since for a while he thought she might have been gone.

Emilie could feel the blood going higher, with her legs no longer being fleshed, and she tried not to look back with Nathalie's statue hand on her bare shoulder. Emilie gave them a small smile, looking quickly at her worried Chat.

"You guys will make the right decision, Marinette, take care of my son. Everything is in your hands now," With that, she gave one last parting smile before she turned into stone too.

"Mother!" Chat cried out, but Marinette held onto him tighter before he could move further.

They then looked around the dark green house, with a bunch of statues staring at them, and the blood flooding them towards the center.

"Marinette, what should we do?" Chat asked her, still keeping her on his back from the dangerous blood creeping closer by their feet.

Marinette bit her lip hard, thinking deeply about what to do. Suddenly, she felt Chat begin to lose his balance, and his legs turned into stone too. Her eyes widened at this, loosening her grip from Chat.

"Adrien, shit, hold on. I'll think of something, please hold on, kitty," Marinette said the last bit to herself, using the other nickname she has given him at times.

She looked up at him when he gently caressed her face. His eyes held onto hers, looking at her with slight sadness, yet determination as well.

"Marinette, please run while you can, just please go! Please, just leave so I know that you will be safe!" Chat pleaded to her, not wanting her to end up like a statue, since she might have an escape to this fate.

However, his princess was stubborn as she shook her head at him. Marinette didn't feel right leaving him there, so she straightened her shoulders and stayed put with him.

"You can't get rid of me that easily, Chat. I'm staying with you towards the end, and I even promised your mother I would look after you." Marinette replied while trying to hide her frown by seeing Chat turned more into stone.

Chat lets out a harsh breath, but he didn't want them to fight if this might be their last time together.

"I really have fallen in love with you, my lady," Chat admitted shyly, not regretting by sharing his deep love with her. She could already feel the love through their bond, yet it's different once you said those words out loud. Marinette felt her breath hitched as Chat almost became a full-on statue now.

"Oh damn it, Chat, I love you too, my prince," Marinette replied quietly, but Chat heard her loud and clear right before he turned into stone too.

Marinette could feel some tears pricking her eyes, never feeling so lost and alone before in her entire hybrid life. She gasped when she saw how the moon looked so bloody dark, making the greenhouse look even more sinister. Marinette could feel her heart quicken as the blood got closer to her. Unknown to her, she got close to a lilac bush, which hasn't been tainted by the blood yet. The sweet fragrance consumed her nostrils, then she felt a burning inch from the ladybug earring on her pierced ear. Slowly, she took off her earring while noticing how her other ladybug earring glowed in Chat's stone cold hand. Her earring in her hand turned into a half ladybug, which then flew towards the other half ladybug to make a whole.

A white-hot brightness glowed suddenly, making Marinette lose her sight for a moment. She then heard someone whispering in her ear, humming into her eardrums like a ladybug, and a pressure tugging her towards something. Marinette then gasped as she accidentally pricked her finger onto the thorn of the lilac flower. The blood dripped from her finger, which she then tried to lick off to stop the bleeding. She then panicked when she felt her legs turning into stone, but she tried to get as close to Chat as possible. The moment she put her bloody finger into her mouth, just wishing for a moment that she didn't have to deal with this Twilight bullshit.

Funny enough, wishing had a funny way to be granted, but Marinette got her wish alright. A wish with no supernatural bullshit, but as a human named Marinette Dupain-Cheng in another universe.

Fate has a funny way of showing up too, but it seems no matter what circumstances. Marinette and Adrien always end up together, may it be supernatural or human. Sometimes, your soul could be addicted to each other; an amortentia scent with a hint of lilacs tainted with blood.

Epilogue?!

I shall leave for you readers imagination for this open ending;]
