Hello! Welcome back to my little story! I hope you have enjoyed the read so far! I really want to thank all of you, my dear readers, for all the loyalty you have displayed so far. It really warms my heart to know you enjoy this poor, deluded noob's story so much :D

First, a review response:

Saltworks: The difference is an intended application. Usually, 'possessions' happen in the form of Servant summoning/creation so the personalities are flawlessly merged, and in the so far known, rare occasions, the integrated element invades the present one. As this is a non-summoning possession on a non-physiological level, it is not something seen before, so I had creative freedom to work with it and did just that. Thought, a 'take-over' invasiveness was still observed in chapter 10, as you know. I hope this has clarrified some questions you had regarding the Nanna/Shirou thing. You will have noticed by now, due to this being an AU, I take creative freedom with pretty much everything that isn't confirmed information as of yet.

So, I won't bother you with any additional greeting and just get to it!

Disclaimer: All rights go to their respective creators, and even thought some of the new Servants for this story do not exist within the Nasuverse and are my own creative imput, i still reject all rights and grant them to Type-moon.

"Haa?" Rin and Luvia let out at the same time.

As it had been requested, the two of them were to assemble in the Vice Director's office, together with Waver, aka Lord El-Melloi II, for a briefing before they headed out for the mission to help the Yggdmillennia family with defending the Grail from a malicious Deity.

"You heard me." Barthomeloi spoke, being unusually serious in her tone. "This is a top secret mission of the highest Order, it was issued by the Headmaster himself. It is absolutely pivotal we do not fail him."

So far, Barthomeloi only got to tell the two Jewelmancer-rivals that they were going to be going on a mission, and thus would work together, so they were not yet aware of the details, nor who exactly it concerns, as was shown by their lax attitude and their focus on being on each others throats before much else, even when an Order came from the Headmaster of the Clock Tower, someone who very, very few people had ever even heard about, let alone seen.

"Can you two NOT fight for just this one time?" El-Melloi II scolded before using one of Barthomeloi's books to give them both a chop to the head with the cover side of it.

The two women held their heads from the obvious pain of being bonked by a damn book of all things, but obeyed the request, albeit reluctantly.

"Good..." Lorelei began as she sighed out loudly. "As for the details... consider this briefing officially initiated." She responded before she got up from her seat and walked around the table and to the center of the room. There, she began to concentrate her Magecraft, the element of Wind, and started to form figures out of pure air. But since they were not distinguishable enough, she used pure, concentrated Mana to create a contrast between the air to detail features. All in all, a cheap knockoff to hologramms, but it served its purpose.

"Our Mission is this." She started, pointing at a large, round object. "The Great Holy Grail, currently in possession of the Yggdmillennia family. We are being sent out to defend it. The Yggdmillennia family seems to have no urge to use it, or else they already would have, so it gives us leeway to work on this on our terms. The Enemy we are going to face is a reborn entity of old, a Deity. A Divine Spirit from the Age of Gods, the Mesopotamian God known as Nanna, God of the Moon, also known as En-zu, which means 'Lord of Wisdom'."

"But... if we are going up against a god, shouldn't you and the Headmaster work on this? You two are the strongest Magus in the Clocktower, after all." Rin interjected while having her arms crossed.

"Usually, you'd be right... A Divine Entity cannot be faced by weak magus. However, you two are not weak." Lorelei spoke, complimenting Rin and Luvia alike. Rin just played tough and pouted while Luvia was visibly joyed. "However..." the Vice Director started, making both rivals break their little reactions. "The main reason we need you two is because you two may reach him..."

"What do you mean?" Luvia questioned like a bullet.

"Nanna is possessing the body of Emiya Shirou..."

This made Rin and Luvia go wide-eyed, gasping in shock simultaneously.

"Shero!? Is Shero alright!?" Luvia asked, immediately getting immensely worried. She does have quite the hard crush on him, and even thought she hasn't seen him in nearly 3 years now, it remained steady and strong. The kind of Crush that would be there forever.

"We... don't know..." Lorelei confessed as she subdued her magic and let the air-hologramm disperse. "All we know is that Emiya Shirou was supposed to infiltrate the Grail War in Romania, and he failed by being possessed by this Deity. The Grail War has been put on hold, officially, until the Grail can be secured and this Entity defeated. The reason you two were requested is because the Yggdmillennia believe that Shirou is still in there, somewhere, and you two are the closest people to him that we are willing to access, not to mention that the Yggdmillennia have specifically asked for the two of you."

"So..." Rin spoke, her voice overwhelmed by worry and concern. She barely even could speak, her mind was being so filled with potential what-ifs about the very worst. But there was hope, Lorelei said it just now. "So we can still bring him back?"

"We hope so..." Lord El-Melloi II responded, finally saying something to the whole ordeal. "But we don't know for sure. Trial by Failure, I suppose."

"Then what are we waiting for!" Luvia practically shouted, being held back from racing out the door only by Rin grabbing her by the collar. "We need to go and save my Shero!"

"YOUR Shero?" Rin asked provocatively, which caused Luvia to turn to her with an angry expression, causing the two of them to start arguing again.

Lorelei and El-Melloi II both just blended the two girls' voices out of their ears before they concluded things amongst one another. "I feel guilty... I am the one who suggested him for this..." Barthomeloi spoke, causing Waver's eyebrow to grow upwards. "I never met him personally, but I only ever hear good things from him. Kiritsugu raised one fine boy, after all. I wish I could have seen the two of them together."

"Yeah, me too..." El-Melloi whispered as memories of the 4th Grail War came to mind. He, too, never directly came face to face with Kiritsugu Emiya, but he did meet Saber and Kiritsugu's wife, Irisviel, more than a few times, and from the impressions they gave him, he was... interesting. "No use dwelling in the past. Let's tie those two up and get going. Headmaster told me we only have 2 days at best."

"Understood, Lord El-Melloi." Lorelei responded before she used her Wind-based Magecraft to split the two fighting women from one another. "Shut it, both of you. We are departing at once. Get your utmost necessities, we meet at the London Heathrow-Airport at 3pm O'clock Sharp. A Private Jet has been prepared for us four." The Vice-director spoke, but then turned to Luvia with a stern gaze. "ONLY your utmost necessities... means only one bag. A NORMAL bag."

The Blonde ended up letting out a loud whine because only she was being so specifically reprimanded about her wealthy escapades.

Once at the Airport, as they had discussed, Lord El-Melloi II and Barthomeloi Lorelei had to both sigh out when they saw Rin and Luvia appear, and of course, they were both fighting once again.

"I swear... these two are existential opposites to one another even with breathing..." Waver thought with a great amount of annoyance. That these two couldn't be peaceful with one another for a single second was very, very troublesome. So much so that it could endanger their mission, and these two needed to know it. So he had no choice but to lay it out in a way they will both understand it. "Damnit, will you two stop or do we have to fail and lose Shirou for you two to finally get along?"

This IMMEDIATELY got them both to shut up and turn towards Waver with no small amount of shock and exasperation on their faces.

"If you two keep being at each others throats more than anything else, you will end up fighting one another out there, in the field, where Emiya Shirou needs us all, and if your fights hinder us even a little it could mean complete defeat." El-Melloi II continued, his expression growing immensely furious and serious. "If you two don't start working together properly, you could cost us this mission and then we will have no choice but to stop the Malicious Entity by killing its host body. So get a grip unless you're so eager to hate one another that you will even risk sacrificing the man you love for it!"

Barthomeloi narrowed her eyes as she heard El-Melloi II speak those words and leaned closer to him to whisper. "You really can be evil sometimes..."

El-Melloi II just scoffed before whispering back. "Necessary evil"

Rin let out a very defeated sigh and just made a very irked expression, as if the idea of peace with Luvia was truly so grotesque. However, after a few seconds, she receeded and softened her facial features, turning to Luvia. "okay... I am so-" But she stopped talking midway as she saw that Luvia was in tears.

"I... I didn't... I don't want... I am sorry..." She mumbled to herself, but audible enough for the others to hear it. Luvia, however flamboyant and Riche she was, truly loved Shirou. Being told that her behaviour could endanger him to a point where killing was the only option? Yeah, that hit a weakspot she never even knew she had, and it showed. She didn't know at all how to deal with this thought, this type of responsibility over another person, let alone a person she held seriously dear. It utterly and completely shattered her facade and revealed the vulnerable side of her almost on command.

"Luvia..." Rin whispered, looking worriedly at her blonde-haired rival for a moment before she let out a defeated groan and pulled the teary girl into her arms, giving her a few headpats. "Fiiiine, I am sorry! I will try not to fight with you until that blockhead is safe. I swear, leaving for 3 years and then getting into such trouble..." Rin spoke, trying to cheer Luvia up and not be a complete ass to the girl. "Tell you what... if we manage to save him and all goes well, I will help you out with him, alright?"

Luvia sniffled as she lifted her head a little to look into Rin's eyes. "Y... you mean it?"

Rin just sighed yet again, nodding her head for a moment before glancing away. "Don't make me regret it... I still hate you, yknow?"

Seeing the two being a bit more well up now, Barthomeloi decided to intervene. "Alright, you had your little girl friends moment. Now, we got a flight to catch. The Jet should fly us directly to Bucharest without stop, taking no more than 3 hours. From there, we will be picked up by the Yggdmillennia family by Car. All in all, if things go smooth, we should be at their Castle before Dinner, scheduled to be at 9pm their time. Ample time to get to know the other Magus, learn about the situation at hand, maybe even find proper partners to work together with."

"Yes, Ma'am!" Rin and Luvia both responded, the latter wiping her tears away before smiling confidently. With their minds made up, they all went into the Airport's main building to check in their flight tickets and get to the plane.

"AAAHH! I am NEVER flying a private jet again!" Rin complained after she got out of the Terminal at the Bucharest Baneasa Airport, stretching her arms and back out a bit to rid some stiffness in her joints and spine respectively, causing cracks with each movement she made.

"Finally, something we agree on..." Luvia shot back, stretching her shoulders out as well, getting similar cracks and pops as Rin did.

"I can't believe how damn cramped that Jet was... let me guess, Vice Director. Fast and Cheap?" Lord El-Melloi II complained, agreeing with the two Magus students.

"Just because we have nigh-unlimited ressource doesn't mean we have to actually go and test the limits." Barthomeloi responded. "Cheap and fast was the goal of both the Association and the mission. Let us be glad for that, we are early by about 20 minutes." She then added, pointing at the massive clock at the large entrance hall of the main building. "See? Not even 6pm yet for our time."

"But it is 8 for them..." Rin interjected almost tiredly. "And I think our ride is here, too." She then added, pointing at three individuals waiting at the Airport Entrance. One was Amakusa, dressed in his typical priest's getup with the red mantil over his shoulder. The other was Caules, wearing his white Yggdmillennia Suit and the last person was Darnic Prestone, who also wore the white suit, but with a red one-shoulder-cape over his left shoulder. A public demonstration of nobility, as Romania did aknowledge the Yggdmillennia as an important family, even if the nation didn't know they were a family of Magus.

"Welcome, Madame Barthomeloi. I am-"

"Darnic Prestone Yggdmillennia, current head of the Yggdmillennia Family of Trifas. We know." Barthomeloi immediately shot out to halt his speech, her hand raised in a 'halt' manner to further underline that gesture. "I would like it if we didn't speak about anything in public, so just guide us to the cars and drive us to Trifas. We can chatter on the way, and begin formal briefing once everyone is present."

"Heh..." Amakusa scoffed. "Your professionality is every bit as iron solid as they say, Vice Director of the Association." He added before placing his right hand on his chest and offering a light bow.

"I would ask 'Who are you?' but then, I just said let us not discuss in public, so refrain from answering until we are in a Car." Lorelei instructed before she waved her hand forward in a 'lead the way' manner for the trio.

"Very well, Madame Barthomeloi. Follow me."Darnic responded with a stoic expression before turning around and leading the way, with Caules and Amakusa following, and the four from the Association going after them. The way lead them to the large parking spot for the many cars, and eventually, they arrived to two sets of long Limousines. Darnic waved towards one then pointed at the two Students. "You two shall go with Caules and Amakusa in that one. I shall take Madame Barthomeloi and the esteemed Lord El-Melloi II to the other."

As he said, Caules and Amakusa walked towards one Limo, with the priest holding the door open for the two women, who both followed along.

"I have to say, you came well prepared to split us up into appropriate groups to talk." El-Melloi chimed in before he got into the limo and scooted to one end of the seat, followed by Barthomeloi entering and sitting next to Waver.

Darnic himself got in to sit on the opposite seat facing the two of them. "Of course. They have questions, as do you. And it is better to answer two sets of questions with two sets of answers. So they have theirs, and you get yours" He added before he turned his head towards the drivers cabinet. "Go."

Back at the other Limousine, the two girls got in to sit next to one another while Amakusa and Caules took seats on the other end to face them respectively.

"So..." Caules began, feeling a little nervous. "Should we start with introductions?" He asked while lifting his left hand to his chest, which in turn exposed his Command Seals to the two girls.

"Seems fitting." Rin shot back while crossing her arms and eyeing the two males suspiciously, specially fixiated on Amakusa. "Why does he look so much like Archer? The hair, the tan, the smile, the red mantil with the two crosses connected by a string... ARGH!" She thought to herself.

"Very well" the Priest started before he made a light bow forward. "You can address me by one of two names. My True Name that I bear as a Ruler-class Servant, Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, or by the adoptive name I had for the last 60 years, Kotomine Shirou."

"Ugh..." Rin gagged as she heard that last part. "The words 'Kotomine' and 'Shirou' should NOT be one name..." She complained, getting flashbacks to that lying scumbag of a sadistic priest that was Kirei Kotomine. "My father's murderer..." Rin reminded herself of before she glanced up at the Priest. "Are you, by chance, connected to one Kirei Kotomine?"

Amakusa sighed out loudly. "You're the second person to ask me that, after Emiya Shirou. But yes..." He responded before he leaned back. "We are distant cousins. I was adopted by his grandfather, Risei Kotomine. From there, however, it split. I turned to one branch of the Family, the European one, and he went with Japans. The Kotomine Family is large and spread out throughout several corners of the Church. Every Kotomine in this world is a member."

"That seriously sounds like a family-cult..." Rin spat back, causing Amakusa to laugh nervously and nodded.

"Probably, you aren't wrong!" The Priest agreed with another slight laughter before he turned to the man next to him. "Your turn."

"Very well." Caules responded before giving a light bow. "I am Caules Forvedge Yggdmillennia. A Magus of the Yggdmillennia's Family and currently Master of Berserker of Black."

Luvia let out a rather awed sigh at finally meeting a Master of a Grail War. "What is it like, having a servant!?" She asked a tad too energetically for pretty much everyone's liking.

Caules decided he would answer in earnest. He could tell right away that Luvia was the type that wanted answers when asking a question, and he was smart enough a man not to challenge that. "Well... she is alright. Her Madness Enhancement is very low-ranking, probably the lowest possible, she can still speak, think and feel. And getting to know her was a very interesting experience." He answered while chuckling and scratching his head a bit. "Since we are all allies here, I don't suppose I will regret revealing her True Name, right?" He then questioned. When no complains came, he then said it. "Berserker of Black's identity is Hervor. Last known wielder of the Nordic cursed sword Tyrfing."

"Ha?" Rin gasped somewhat exasperatedly. "Your Servant is a Viking?"

"Pretty much. But it is surprising how soft she can be, for a Viking that is. She is still beyond assertive and just doesn't know the concept of 'Holding Back'." Caules laughed as he remembered the few spars he had with her when she asked for them, and to teach Caules some basic self defence like a throw. The spots that were bruised at that time started to ache with some Phantom Pain despite being perfectly healed up by now. "But do tell, Rin Tohsaka. You were a Master in the previous Fuyuki Grail War, yes? What was your servant's True Name?"

Rin just itched her eyebrow at the second reminder of Archer and just shook her head slightly. "I... am not comfortable with revealing that information, if that is alright."

Amakusa seemed to catch a hint in it, because when she said it, she glanced over at him again. "Interesting... she's been eyeing me suspiciously for a while now." He thought to himself and let her know he knew with a small smirk. "Well, if you are uncomfortable with sharing it, it can only mean one of two things. You DO know, but it is incredibly sensitive information, or you actually don't know and are just too embarrassed to admit it. And you don't strike me as the type who can endure embarrassment, so if you didn't know, you would have confessed by now, which means you DO know but it is sensitive information. And the only sensitive information I can imagine for a blunt... what is it the Japanese Folk call it... a blunt 'Tsundere' like you-" He said, immediately earning a stink eye from Rin for openly calling her a Tsundere. "-would be if it is directly tied to either you or someone you know. An Ancestor to the Tohsaka Line, or perhabs a Descendant? The Throne of Heroes operates outside of the flow of time, and as such, it is likely to summon Servants from the Future every bit as much as Servants from the past."

When Amakusa said 'Future', Rin's eyebrow twitched and she very subtly receeded her seated position, giving him the clues he needed via reading her bodylanguage. "So the Servant was from the Future, huh? I can see why that could be regarded sensitive information."

"What? You never told me about this!" Luvia complained, giving Rin a rather mad pout and glare in response.

"Because I shouldn't! Yes, he is from the future, but that is precisely why I shouldn't reveal any information, if I can. He is not supposed to be known. If people know who he is before he becomes what he is, it could screw up the whole Timeline!" She lied. A lie she had practiced for years in the event that the Mage's Association ever questioned her about the Grail War, which thankfully they didn't. They just took the report of the Events, ripped the Church a new ass open with their schenanigans regarding Kirei Kotomine, and shoved it deep down the stack of files. But Rin didn't feel all too safe just forgetting about it, so she had excuses at the ready.

"I don't believe you." Amakusa bluntly fired out as he leaned back some more, taking a relaxed pose with his elbows lifted against his seat's head lean. "I think you don't want to spill his name because it is something very closely associated with your personal life, and the knowledge of what he ends up being in the future will cause the people around him to change. Some might see him as a Hero, others will view him as a Threat before he ever gains the capacity to become one. Opinions on him will be split between the extremes of love and hate with no middle ground."

Seeing Rin's face turn defeated and worriedly, Amakusa knew he had hit the nail on the head.

"It's a future version of Emiya Shirou, isn't it?"

Luvia let out a loud gasp at this and turned to Rin. "Is... is that true? Sherou... becomes a Servant?"

Rin, feeling it all wash down on her, leaned back against her seat, turning her eyes away towards the car window to look outside, her hand halfway covering her face. "...yes... But it is not nearly as heroic a tale as it sounds... He does become elligeble for Servant Summoning in the future... but not as a Heroic Spirit, but as a Counter Force Guardian."

Luvia still couldn't believe it. Her Shirou, a Servant? It brought her thoughts to all kinds of directions, from worry over his well being along the future times to typical fangirl stuff like asking herself how hot he looks when aged up. And the Narrator says: He looks very damn hot.

"Counter Guardians?" Caules asked as he put his hand on his chin in thought. "What is that?"

"I can answer this. As a former Servant myself, I have the knowledge needed to answer this." Amakusa chimed in and leaned forward a bit, elbows resting on his knees, fingers intertwined. "The world has a Subconscious force of Will that defends all of Humanity. We call that 'Alaya', the World's Will of Human Survival. Alaya operates across the spectrum of the entire Multi-verse, preventing catastrophes from wiping out Humanity in its entirety, or purging parallel universes where it fails. A sore loser, in other words. It works either indirectly, by empowering select good-willed individuals and give them the means to halt the catastrophes, or it interferes with the course of events directly by dispatching its agents of the Counter-Force, the Guardians."

"So Sherou is a hero who saved Humanity?" Luvia questioned, sparks in her eyes from an even wilder, more growing admiration for the Emiya kid.

"Afraid not..." Amakusa then interfered, causing Caules and Luvia to both be surprised. Rin wasn't surprised as she knew the answer. "Guardians aren't the protectors of Humanity. They are the Catastrophe-cleanup crew, if I had to simplify it. They are dispatched to deal with catastrophes that can be prevented by human hand. That is most notoriously done by killing the source. Guardians don't prevent catastrophes by saving people, they prevent Catastrophes by murdering whoever was going to cause them."

This caused Caules and Luvia both to look worriedly, Luvia moreso because she couldn't even imagine the feeling of killing one person. "And Sherou had to kill... so many, probably..."

"And as you can imagine, the Multi-verse is endless, so Counter-Force Guardians are nearly constantly active, ensuring Humanity's Survival in each new variable parallel world. Or if they fail, they purge the timeline altogether." Amakusa finalized, making the newest members of the dark Lore of Alaya both cover their mouths simultaneously in sheer shock. "To be a Guardian is the cruelest of all fates that I can think of. Saving the world by going on an endless killing spree for a higher cause."

"Exactly..." Rin said as she moved her hand up to cover her eyes to hide her sorrowful expression. "Now you know why I didn't want to disclose this information... working for the Counter-Force broke Future Shirou, he became something... unstable, hopeless, drowned in his own tears of despair. I only found out second-hand by Shirou telling me, but... the eyes he made when he told me. The fear, the pain, the anger... I never thought I could see Shirou so... desperate. That's why this Shirou vowed to never give his soul to Alaya, no matter what... but I worry every day if something will happen to change his mind and send him down this dark path once more..."

"Man... to be Emiya Shirou is to suffer, it appears." Amakusa then rained in, causing all three people to suddenly look at him. "The Mage's Association gave all Red Faction Masters the most detailed background checks possible on the others. I read all about Emiya Shirou's background. First, he survives the 4th Grail War's great catastrophe that nearly damned Fuyuki City forever. Then he participates in the 5th Grail War, where he has to fight his future self amongst others and, I assume at least, completely destroy the Lesser Grail, and now he is a victim of an Evil Mesopotamian God who broke his mind to take his body and pursue the Great Holy Grail for Lord knows what reason..."

Luvia knew none of this information. Hearing how hard Shirou's life was really hit her deep. She grasped he chest at where her heart was with both hands and breathed in deeply. "Sherou... oh Sherou... you suffered so much..." She thought to herself, leaning back to try and calm herself down, as she felt like any more and she could hyperventilate herself into a shock.

"Man, when this is all over, he needs a really, REALLY long vacation from civilization..." Caules concluded, ruffling his hair for a moment before scratching his head. "This much suffering when not even 20 years old... that is going to leave lifelong scars. He needs time to heal from them all. God knows how fragile his state of mind is, and it can only get worse if he gets no break."

"Well... we saw how fragile it is. Well, I did." Amakusa added. "I was there when he broke, when Nanna took over. When his mind snapped, he screamed. It was only one scream, just a few seconds long, but the pain, the hatred, self-loathing, condemnation of all that was, is and ever will be... even thought he was an enemy at that moment, my heart broke for the kid. I've never seen so much despair in a single human being, and that says a lot given how my Shimabara Rebellion ended and that I was there to see it, being the one who lead it."

With Amakusa's final comment added, everyone ended up just being silent and in thought, their minds all circling around Shirou for various reasons, concern, worry, care, even a slight form of admiration that he lasted this long.

"Shirou..." Rin whispered to herself before she closed her eyes, drifting off in her mind to try and get some rest. "Please... be safe..."

It wasn't until half an hour later, when they all finally arrived at the Yggdmillennia Castle and Darnic lead them all inside to the grand hall, where they were welcomed by everyone else. And they all immediately found a partner to discuss.

Rin befriended Fiore and Jeanne D'Arc since they shared an interest in Jeanne's history and Rin was incredibly curious to find everything out that she could.

Luvia went for Semiramis and the two hit it off right away, their Riche and extravagant personalities being greatly in sync, and the two also loved each other's fashion sense, which helped form a particularily quick and deep friendship.

El-Melloi II decided to consult himself with Gordes and Roche to discuss details about the Yggdmillennia's battle prowess without the Servants, as Waver was a genius tactician and wanted to know every card in his hand to prepare.

Barthomeloi however ended up finding herself oddly drawn to the Homunculus, Sieg. His radiating mana and the flawless sync of his many Magic Circuits attracted her curiosity and so she approached him. Sieg seemed cordial and bowed before her.

"Welcome to the Castle. I am Sieg, a Homunculus in the service of the Yggdmillennia Family." Sieg opened with, greeting Lorelei with as much respect as he could voice while introducing himself formally.

"A pleasure to meet you, Sieg. I am Barthomeloi Lorelei, Vice Director of the Mage's Association Headquarters in the Clocktower of London." Lorelei responded before she took a step closer to inspect the Homunculus. "And you... you are not just any Homunculus." She added, causing Sieg to slightly gulp. Lorelei tilted her head back, taking a gentle breathe in before sighing out. "Yesss... I can feel it. Your Mana, your Circuit. Such seamless installation into your body, such flawless harmony... even my 100 Circuits aren't working this perfectly with one another... What's your secret?"

Sieg just scratched his head and offered an innocent smile. "I am afraid I don't know. All I have been told is that I am a new prototype of Homunculus, specialized for Combat, so I do suck at everyday household activities, but I can fight. The one who did all the Magic Circuit Synchronization in my body was Assassin of Black, but she's not here right now. None of the other Servants are except for the two Rulers and Assassin of Red, the pointy-eared Queen currently talking to the blonde." Sieg explained as he pointed at Semiramis to give Lorelei the visual clue on who he meant. "If your Circuits trouble you, you should probably consult Assassin of Black. She will definetly know how to help. She installed Circuits of 3 different elements in me, and I was told that under normal circumstances, this would have literally blown me up."

"Heh..." Lorelei scoffed slightly. "It really would have. All my 100 Circuits are based on the element of Wind. Conflicts between Elements is extremely dangerous and risque as they all exhibit a different frequency within their Mana. Wavelength-Interference, Physics 101. Let's suppose, for the explanation, that each wave displaced upward 1 unit at its crest and has the shape of a sine wave, to make imagining it easier. As the sine pulses move towards each other, there will eventually be a moment in time when they are completely overlapped. At that moment, the resulting shape of the medium would be an upward displaced sine pulse with an amplitude of 2 units. Ergo, the resulting pulse is the summ of the frequency of all pulses. Two pulses alone already create a frequency too high for the human body to handle and a catastrophic cell death ensues. Three different frequencies is a guaranteed death sentence in but all known cases conducted EVER. So do believe me when I say that I have a very, very desperate need to meet Assassin of Black and consult with her on her knowledge, for if she truly found a way to harmonize the frequencies of 3 different elements without killing the host body, then she could completely revolutionize Magecraft by opening new gates to Magic Circuit fusion."

Hearing someone of such high stature like Barthomeloi Lorelei confess such deep interest in Assassin's work made Sieg smile again, chuckling to himself a bit. "I am sure she will be willing to tell you anything you want. I know she told me everything I ever asked about. She doesn't seem too adamant on hiding her discoveries, all you have to do is ask."

"Heh, the joys of scientific breakthrough" Lorelei mused to herself. "Of course she wants to share, she wants to be aknowledged for having done something no one else has in over 2000 years. She's already above even the Headmaster in that regard. As a perfectionist myself, I want to improve my Circuits even more, so I have to see her as soon as I can."

"That will have to wait a bit, I am afraid..." Sieg then spoke, making Lorelei lift her eyebrow slightly. "She is currently busy fixing up Saber of Black's Spirit Core. She is working together with all the other non-ruler Servants, hence why no one is here. We have to wait, probably until after all of this is over..."

"Very well. I can wait. In the meantime, why don't you show me what you can do?" the Vice Director asked, making Sieg's eyes widen. "Your Circuits may be flawlessly integrated, but that doesn't mean you have complete mastery over them. Why don't we spar?"

"Well... sure? I don't see why not. We can do it right now if you like."

"Excellent, lead the way!" Barthomeloi exclaimed, to which Sieg just nodded and lead the way to the same spot where he and Amakusa had a spar just before Lunch.

Aye, I hope you have enjoyed these interludes, as things will return to seriosity with the next chapter.

As always, I hope you have enjoyed the read, and if you did (or did not), let me know with a Why so that I can continue to improve on my writing!

Cheers :D
