Elsewhere in Chernobog.
Two Reunion casters along with two Vanguards were patrolling the streets of Chernobog when they stopped for something.
"Do you hear that?" Asked one of the Caster as he heard a sound.
"I don't know Mihaly, it does sound feint." One of the Vanguard said when suddenly a Motorcycle jumped over them, and it's driver was nonother than Elizabeth.
"Hello boys!" Elizabeth said as she smashed her Motorcycle into one of the Caster, and then jumped off of it with her greatsword in hand which she impaled it into the ground, and suddenly red pikes shot from the ground which impaled the Vanguards and the remaining caster, and as Elizabeth looked at her work she heard some radio noises.
"To any units in close to the central street, this is Gerhard, you are to group up at the south east garrison of the central street. Gerhard, out." Came Gerhard's voice.
"Huh south east of the central street, huh?" Said Elizabeth to herself, as she picked up her Motorcycle and made her way to the garrison's location.
"Blitz, Scout here." Called Scout over the radio with concern lacing his tone.
"I hear loud and clear Scout, what's the situation?" Blitz asked Scout wondering what made the normally collected operator, worried.
"I've got eyes on the Garrison building, but..." Scout said but he suddenly stopped.
"What is it Scout?" Blitz asked
"I'm seeing two platoons of Reunion personnel converging on the Garrison building, we have to get the kids out of there ASAP." Said Scout.
"Understood, where are you now?" Blitz asked Scout.
"I am in a building overseeing thee street where the garrison building is located." Scout told Blitz.
"And Ace?" Blitz inquired Scout.
"Ace Has made Contact with the U.S.S.G children inside the Garrison." Scout informed Blitz.
"Alright, hang on tight then we are on our way. Blitz, out." Said the German before cutting the comm channel off.
"What did he say?" Ash asked Blitz.
"He informed me that Ace has made Contact with the U.S.S.G kids hiding inside he garrison building and that two platoons worth of Reunion personnel are converging on the Garrison." Blitz answered.
"We need to call Pequod to provide Evac, now." Tachanka said as he walked up to them.
"I agree with our Russian friend here, we need to move quickly and call Pequod." Said Frost.
"Alright lets get moving." Blitz said as he began running towards the garrison right in front of them.
With Ace and U.S.S.G
"Hey, Leto, do you think the rest of the R.I team has been headed into an ambush?" Asked an brunette Ursus girl, who was wearing an U.S.S.G armband.
"I dunno Slava, they have yet to arrive besides, that Ace guy said that the had some trouble ahead of them. So don't worry Slava." Leto told the girl.
"I have to agree with you friend kid, they probably have..." Ace said when they suddenly heard a shout.
"ACE! Can you open the door?!" Called out Blitz.
"Well, They are already here." Said Ace with humor in his tone.
"Just a second!" Ace called out as he made his way downstairs to open the Garrison's gates.
Outside
"You think they are alright?" Ash Asked.
"Well judging from his tone, they seem to still be in one piece." Tachanka commented.
"Let's get these kids out of here before those 100 Reunion soldiers arrive." Said Frost, when the gate began to open, revealing ace on next to the Gates opening console.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Asked Ace.
"How are the kids?" Ash asked Ace.
"They are fine, now all we need is Pequod to come back and pick us up before we are overrun by the reunion personnel." Ace told them to which Ash nodded.
"Way ahead of you Ace." Ash said as she prepared to call in Pequod.
Back R.I helipad
As Pequod was sitting inside the Chinook waiting until it finished refueling, he heard a call.
"Pequod this is Ash we need Evac now." Came Ash's voice through the comms
"Roger that Ash, but the chopper is still refueling." Pequod said as he looked at the the Fuel indictor and it was 80% filled.
"How long do you it will take?" Ash asked the Pilot
"Uh... about 5 Minutes, Tops." Pequod replied.
"5 minutes... And ETA?" Ash asked him.
"About... 25 Minutes until Arrival at the highest Possible speed. Guess, you have to hang on for a few minutes." Pequod said.
"Can't the Chinook go any faster?" Ash asked him.
"Sorry but it can do only 302 km/h." Pequod said in an apologetic tone.
"Fine just make it here quick we've got two platoons worth of Reunion troops and we don't want to be overrun." Ash told Pequod.
"Ok." Pequod said as he closed the comm channel and then turned his head to see Closure inspecting a V-22 Osprey parked a few meters away from him which gave him an Idea.
"Hey Closure...?" Pequod asked the Vampire
With Scout.
"Guys, The Reunion Troops are closing in, I'd suggest that you get out of there now..." Scout was about to say when he was suddenly was interrupted by Gerhard who poked at this shoulder causing the operative to freeze for a moment.
"Hello." Crownslayer said as she moved to attack Scout, but the R.I operative retaliated against the Reunion Intel branch 2IC.
He picked his rifle and and used it's shoulder stock to attack Gerhard but the latter simply redirected the rifle, grabbed Scout by his hair and smashed it at a close-by table, knocking him out.
"Morningstar, Crownslayer here." Gerhard said over the radio.
"What is it Crownslayer ?" Asked Svaha.
"I knocked out an R.I operative, thought he might be useful to get some info out of him." Said Crownslayer.
"I see... Very well then bring him to me, might as well make some use out of him." Svaha told Crownslayer, to which the Lupo nodded.
"Understood, I'll bring him in." Crownslayer said as she grabbed Scout's knocked out body and bring him before Svaha who was now in front of the Garrison building where Rainbow team along with the U.S.S.G kid were being held up.
With Svaha
"What did Crownslayer say?" Maria asked Svaha, wondering what Crownslayer told Svaha.
"She said that she captured an R.I operative and that he may have some information that may have something useful as to why they are here." Svaha told Maria.
"We will find out eventually." Svaha told Maria.
"Ma'am, me and my units are in position, waiting on your command, Over." Said Artorias, informing Svaha of their current status.
"Roger that Artorias, wait on my signal. Over." Svaha told the wolf knight.
"Understood." Artorias said as he closed the comms.
With Rainbow team
"Scout! Scout Are you there?!" Blitz called but all he got was white noise.
"Scheiße." The German cursed as he got nothing from the Operator.
"Is there a problem?" Asked Leto as she she walked in front of them.
"Yeah, we lost contact with one of our operators, I think that he has been captured." Blitz informed them.
"You think Scout's been captured?" Asked Ace.
"That's more than likely." Blitz said.
"Do you think they'll kill him?" Frost asked Blitz.
"I believe that it is unlikely." Tachanka butted in.
"And what makes you think so?" Asked Ace.
"They might either interrogate him for information or might use him as a bargaining chip." Tachanka told them.
"I guess I have to agree with you my Russian friend." Blitz agreed.
"Anyways I will try and contact Pequod." Said Ash as she pressed the Comm radio.
"Pequod this is Ash what is your ETA?" Asked Ash.
"Ash. Pequod here, ETA 15 minutes." Said the Liberi Pilot.
"That fast?" Ash asked, wondering how Pequod managed to arrive her fast enough.
"I may have barrowed the new V-22 Osprey, that Closure brought in before we left." Pequod informed Ash who had a headache coming.
"Please tell me that Kal'tist knows that you hijacked the Aircraft?" Ash asked Pequod.
"...Yes." Pequod hesitantly told her.
"You didn't tell, huh?" Ash asked him.
"No, I did not tell the Cat lady." Pequod said.
At Kal'tists Office.
"What, do you mean that he took the Osprey?" Kal'tsit asked Closure who looked at the floor with guilt.
"Just as I said before, Pequod took the Osprey to go and extract Team Rainbow, Ace and Scout as they are being converged on by two Platoons worth of Reunion personnel." Said Closure.
"I guess I can let that slide if it's that bad, but this is coming from your next paycheck." Kal'tsit told the Sarkaz vampire who looked at the Feline with wide eyes.
"What did I do?! Shouldn't it be Pequod's paycheck?!" Closure asked Kal'tsit.
"I will deal with Pequod when he arrives later, but once he arrives he will be grounded for the next two years." Kal'tsit told Closure.
"Fine... Anyways you will find back at the usual place running diagnostics on the Landship's reactor." The Vampire told Kal'tsit, to which the later nodded.
"See you later." Said Closure.
"Good god, this isn't worth the headache." Kal'tsit said to herself thinking of the Pilot's antics.
"You alright Kal'tsit?" Came Albert's voice.
"Hello Doctor... Guess Sif told you your real name, no?" Kal'tsit asked him in a professional manner.
"Yeah... She said it was Albert." Albert told Kal'tsit.
"That it is." Kal'tsit told him with a nod.
With Elizabeth
Chernobog
As Elizabeth was driving through the ruins of Chernobog she heard some gunshots and the sound of orignium Arts being casted.
"Guess, I found where they are located." Liz thought to herself as she revved up the motorcycle, which caused it to go in a wheelie and drove towards the gunshots.
"Crap there are more than we expected!" Ash Yelled as she reloaded her AR after shooting at some Reunion troops that were behind cover.
"You can say that again!" Blitz said as he used his ballistic shield to block some arrows that were being shot by some Reunion soldiers that were in some of the building close by.
"I guess we bit more than what we could chew." Tachanka said as he used his LMG to keep them pinned down.
"Where's your Pilot?!" Asked Leto as she was hiding behind a wall along with Ace covering her with his shield.
"I'll try an contact him!" Frost exclaimed as she opened up her radio comm.
"Pequod!? Are you there?!" Asked Frost.
"Yeah, I hear you loud and clear what's your position? And what's with the gunfire?!" Asked Pequod with worry in his tone.
"We are slowly being overrun by Reunion troops, and Scout's been captured." Frost told Pequod.
"Can you try and rescue him?" Pequod asked.
Before Frost could reply she leaned towards the window to see the situation but had to get back to cover as a Reunion sniper fired a shot at her, but was quick enough to not get hit.
"The situation's hot, and I couldn't see Scout anywhere." Frost, told the Pilot before the Reunion troops gun fire stopped.
"Why did the gun Fire suddenly stop?" Asked Blitz.
Earlier
As Crownslayer brought Scout before Svaha who was overlooking the assault on the garrison, she put the R.I operative down down.
"Ma'am I've brought him." Crownslayer said as she put down the Sarkaz Sniper in front of Svaha.
"Well... What do you suggest we do with him?" Maria asked Svaha.
"I have an Idea." Svaha said as she shook the Sniper awake, getting a groan from him.
