I Don't own Worm or Arknights

"Pequod!? Are you there?!" Asked Frost.

"Yeah, I hear you loud and clear what's your position? And what's with the gunfire?!" Asked Pequod with worry in his tone.

"We are slowly being overrun by Reunion troops, and Scout's been captured." Frost told Pequod.

"Can you try and rescue him?" Pequod asked.

Before Frost could reply she leaned towards the window to see the situation but had to get back to cover as a Reunion sniper fired a shot at her, but was quick enough to not get hit.

"The situation's hot, and I couldn't see Scout anywhere." Frost, told the Pilot before the Reunion troops gun fire stopped.

"Why did the gun Fire suddenly stop?" Asked Blitz.

Earlier

As Crownslayer brought Scout before Svaha who was overlooking the assault on the garrison, she put the R.I operative down down.

"Ma'am I've brought him." Crownslayer said as she put down the Sarkaz Sniper in front of Svaha.

"Well... What do you suggest we do with him?" Maria asked Svaha.

"I have an Idea." Svaha said as she shook the Sniper awake, getting a groan from him.

Over at Lungmen

As they entered the office Ch'en and Talulah were looking at the stack of papers which weer the reports regarding the Chernobog refugees that had started coming into the city.

"So... these are the reports?" Asked Talulah as she looked at the stacks of papers with an uneasy look.

"This is going to be a long day." Ch'en commented.

"Should I tell Hoshi to bring in some coffee? For late night work." Talulah asked her sister.

"Yeah... Also tell her to come and give some assistance with the paperwork." Ch'en told Taluah.

"Sure." Talulah answered and suddenly she felt an odd jolt of pain in her hand, which caused her to lightly grunt.

"Is there something wrong Sis?" Ch'en asked Talulah.

"No, it's nothing, just a strange feeling like someone punched something. I don't know how to explain it but..." Talulah was about to say before Ch'en raised her hand an interrupted her sister.

"We'll talk later after we are done with the paperwork." Ch'en said as they began to work on the paperwork in front of them.

Rhodes Island

Kal'tsit's office

"So what do you suggest we do?" Albert asked Kal'tsit

"For now we'll have to wait for Team Rainbow to arrive, then we will contact Lungmen." Kal'tsit told Albert.

"Why?" Albert asked wondering why would they make contact with Lungmen.

"Simple, I am led to believe that Reunion will switch their focus Lungmen." Kal'tsit told the Doctor.

"Why Lungmen? Wouldn't it make sense for them to switch their attention to a country like Kazimierz?" Albert asked Kal'tsit.

"As good of a question as it may be, we don't know right now. It may have to do with the conditions or according to some rumors the Infected are "purged" from time to time in a similar fashion to the Infected work camps in Ursus." Kal'tsit told Albert, whom nodded in understanding.

"I see, anything else that may cause an uprising of a similar fashion to Chernobog?" Albert asked Kal'tsit.

"Maybe Reunion personnel will start to infiltrate the city and will begin to agitate the Relations between the infected and the non-infected to the point where the city will blow up into a civil war between the two groups." Kal'tsit told Albert.

"If so, we need to get there Immediately." Albert told Kal'tsit.

"We will inform the L.G.D. of our arrival, tomorrow Morning." Kal'tsit said as she got up and went to her bedroom.

"Very well." Albert said.

Chernobog

"Why did they stop?!" Ace asked wondering why did the Reunion troops stopped firing on them.

"I have no idea." Blitz answered as he got out of cover to see what what going on.

"Rhodes Island Operators, I am Morningstar and I would suggest that you give up now, you are surrounded, outnumbered and out gunned. It would be better off if you just surrendered and you would be treated fairly, if not then your friend suffers for it." A woman in her late 20s, yellow slitted eyes, with dark greyish silver hair and stood at a really tall height of 6'5" along with a scar that ran through her left eye down her cheek, as she pulled out Scout by her tail struggling to breath.

"It's up for you to decide Rhodes Island!" Called Morningstar.

"Schiessen." Blitz cursed seeing their teammate struggling at the tail choking him.

"What now?" Ace asked them.

"We can't jut leave him at their mercy." Said Frost.

"I am with Frost on this, and besides we can't really trust them to keep their word." Ash said as she momentarily glanced at Morningstar feeling a feeling dread running through her spine just by looking at those cold eyes.

"Pequod, you there?" Asked Tachanka

"Yeah I hear you loud and clear, big guy." Pequod answered.

"What is your ETA?" Tachanka asked him

"Uhhhh... 4 Minutes Tops, if I'm going full throttle." Pequod answered.

"Alright just make it quick, Tachanka out." The Russian responded as he closed the comms.

"So... what did he say?" Asked Leto.

"Pequod said that he'll be in 4 minutes tops." Tachanka responded.

"So we have to wait until then?" Ash asked him.

"It'd appears so." Tachanka responded.

"In case you have forgotten, they have us surrounded." Leto said as she pointed out as she waved her hands at the Reunion troops outside.

"I have to agree with the Kid on this one, it's not exactly as if they will let us get away easily." Ace said.

"Well... I guess we have come to a conclusion." Blitz said as he got up on went to the window.

"Blitz, What ever you do, do not listen to this chick, you hear me!" Scout struggled to say but Morningstar tightened her tail causing the sniper to struggle foo breath with the latter making a light sneer, and then turned her attention at Blitz.

"Sorry, but from what I heard with your track record of taking no prisoners I have to decline the generous offer." Blitz told them, causing Morningstar to lightly smile.

"Well if that's your choice then..." Morningstar said when she used her tail to snap Scout's neck, causing Blitz to feel as if his stomach dropped, and she dropped the Sniper's corpse.

"Well... that could have gone better than it has." Morningstar said as she dropped his corpse, as Morningstar dropped the corpse Ash walked up to Blitz wondering what got the German to freeze.

As she walked up to him she saw Scout's corpse, and placed her hand over he mouth seeing his corpse.

But before they could do anything they heard a motorcycle noise and suddenly a woman in a motorcycle jumped from some rubbles that were conveniently set up as ramp.

"Whose that?" Asked a Reunion soldier.

"You give the signal, I will deal with my dear sister." Maria said as she pulled out her spadroon and dagger.

"Hello, Sister" Greeted Elizabeth as she pulled out her Greatsword which she stabbed it to the grown and behind her several pikes that were red as blood protruded off of.

"Well... Liz let's get this over with for good." Maria said as she charged at her sister.

And while Maria started fighting she pulled out a Flare gun and fired it into the air, and the fighting began again.

With Artorias

"Well boys this is our signal." Said Artorias as he pulled out his great sword as he walked through the hole on the wall, but was suddenly stopped when some one shot the ground they were walking on.

"You won't go anywhere." Came Tachanka's voice.

"Huh, you must be one of the Rainbow team Operators." Artorias remarked as he looked at the Russian.

"Yes, what of it?" Tachanka asked wondering where the Lupo was going with the conversation.

"Mo reason, just asking, my daughter told me about you." Artorias told Tachanka making the Russian raise an eyebrow.

"Your daughter?" Asked Tachanka.

"Yeah, but enough of this." Artorias said as he pulled out a flashbang grenade blinding the Russian who was suddenly thrown across the hallway by a rather powerful punch which caused him to have a bump in his helmet.

"Guys! Pequod here I have arrived!" Came Pequod's voice over the radio.

And a V-22 could be heard overhead.

With Blitz, Ash, Frost, and Ace

"Guys! Pequod here I have arrived!" Came Pequod's voice over the radio.

"Roger that Pequod. Leto gather up the kids we are leaving now!" Blitz said as he took cover so he wasn't shot dead.

"Alright." Leto responded as she walked to take the other U.S.S.G kids to go at the helipad outside.

"What, now?" Frost asked them.

"Now we get out." Said Ash as she and Blitz made a run for the Osprey.

With Leto

"Guys, come on we are getting out of here." Leto said as she waved her hand for the other kids to follow her.

"Really?" Asked Sasha.

"Yes, now come on, but keep your heads down, Reunion forces are still outside and firing their guns." Leto told them to which they nodded and began to follow.

With Tachanka fighting Artorias.

As Tachanka got back on his feet the Russian removed his helmet, pulled a knife and charged at the Knight.

Of which Artorias used his own dagger to block Tachanka's attack, but the Russain used the momentum to redirect the dagger and grab Artorias by the arm and slam him to the ground.

Artorias' men were ready to charge at the Russian, but Artorias raised his hand to stop them.

"No, this one is mine, You go and deal with the others." Artorias told them, to which they nodded and moved pass them.

But as they were walking towards the hallway some one bashed a shield into one of them.

"Ace?" Tachanka asked.

"'Sup big guy, you go to the Osprey, I will hold them off as best as I can." Ace told the Russian.

"Alright." Tachanka said as he got up on his feet and sprinted towards the Osprey.

"Now, were to do you think you were going?" Ace asked Artorias.

"Well... Let's get this over with." Artorias said as he pulled his sword and charged at Ace.

Outside with Liz and Maria

"Well this certainly has been fun sister." Maria remarked as she blocked Elizabeth's attack and around them Reunion troops continued their assault.

"Thanks." Elizabeth responded with a wide slash followed by a thrust, of which Maria dodged.

"Still relying on heavy attacks sister?" Maria asked Elizabeth as she deflected the thrust and followed with her Dagger slashing Elizabeth's cheeck.

"Well you know me so well sister, however..." Elizabeth said when suddenly her weapon changed shape to that of a straight bladed sabre.

"I don't always used heavy swords." Said Elizabeth as she thrusted her weapon at Maria, which was soon followed by an upward slash.

However their fight was interrupted when Elizabeth was hit by a lightning causing the Vampire to crash to her motorcycle.

"Fun's over we have an objective to..." Svaha said when she saw the Osprey lifting off.

"Well, off they go." Maria remarked as she saw the Osprey leave.

"Hmmm." Svaha simply hummed and suddenly the Sound of a Motorcycle was heard.

"Alright, Off I go! See you around sister!" Elizabeth said as she got out of the area in her Motorcycle.

"Should we follow them?" Maria asked Svaha.

"No." Svaha told her.

"Oh?" Asked Maria.

"So far they have no idea of our plans, as such there is nothing to worry about as far as I am concerned." Svaha told Maria.

"As you say." Maria said.

"Alright people, gather our wounded and bury our dead, we will continue as planned." Svaha said as she walked away from the garrison building, and the remaining Reunion soldiers did as she told them and gathered their dead.

With Ace and Artorias

"Well they got away." A badly bleeding Ace said as he chuckled.

"Not bad Rhodes Island, not bad at all." Said Artorias as he walked away and leaving Ace to blead to death.

AN: A spadroon[1] is a light sword with a straight-edged blade, enabling both cut and thrust attacks. This English term first came into use in the early 18th century, though the type of sword it referred to was in common usage during the late 17th century. They were primarily used as a military (army & navy) sidearm in the late 17th and early 18th centuries, and for officers and NCOs in the latter part of the 18th and early 19th centuries. The type of sword also saw widespread use across Europe and America, though the term 'spadroon' is unique to the Anglophone world.

Spadroon is a term used to categorize a type of sword that is in between a small sword (which thrusts only), and the heavier-bladed broadsword. They may have single- or double-edged blades, and hilt types ranging from a simple stirrup guard, to double shells, and even further protection to the sides of the hand. The distinction between a spadroon and broadsword can sometimes be a difficult one, as it depends upon to what period and weapons they are being compared. The important thing is that the spadroon is fast and agile, due to having little mass at the tip of the blade, and a hilt that does not restrict wrist mobility in any way.
