I Don't own RWBY or Arknights.

"What was that all about?" Hoshiguma asked Talulah wondering why Ch'en called her this early in the morning.

"It probably have been about that investigation regarding the Mafia selling guns to infected groups in the Slums, you know, the raid in the warehouse two days ago." Talulah explained to Hoshiguma, to which the Oni nodded.

"Ok, no need to explain any further." Hoshiguma said recalling that mildly successful raid.

"And that Rhodes Island would be coming to Lungmen." Talulah told Hoshiguma who simply raised an eyebrow.

"Rhodes Island? The Pharmaceutical company full of mercenaries?" Hoshiguma asked Talulah.

"That Rhodes Island, but why would they come all the way to Lungmen?" The Oni asked.

"I don't know but we will find out soon enough when we meet the delegates." Talulah responded as she began to eat up her omelet.

"Aren't you going to meet up with Ch'en?" Hoshiguma asked Talulah.

"Ch'en gave me permission to meet later after I finished breakfast." Talulah responded as she pointed her fork at Hoshiguma.

"What ever you say." Hoshiguma responded.

Earlier at Rhodes Island

Two Days after the U.S.S.G Rescue.

In the cafeteria the mood of Team Rainbow was gloomy at best.

Why?

Well... The mission may have been successful in getting the USSG kids out of Chernobog but the deaths of Ace and Scout felt like a punch to the gut for the team. As soon as they arrived to the Landship, Blitz went to report to Kal'tsit which the Feline took it mildly well, considering the deaths of two operators that were part of Rhodes Island since it's reorganization from the mercenary organization Babel, and the team had been suspended until Kal'tsit came to a decision on the team's punishment.

"So now, what?" Frost asked out of the blue.

"Now we do nothing." Said Blitz as he ate his lunch.

"Come on, how would we have known that Reunion would somehow, find about our rescue mission?" Frost asked him.

"You should know that until Kal'tsit gives a far more permanent punishment the team is grounded, and I can't shake the feeling that the cat lady may be considering disbanding the team from Rhodes Island Employment permanently." Ash said as she drank her bottle of water.

"Though I may protest such decision, it would be the predictable punishment as if we were given a pad on the shoulder it'd be seen as something normal and would cost more of the Operator's lives, but hey at the very least we managed to get the kids out of Chernobog." Tachanka said, while Ash looked at him funnily.

"Is there something on my face?" Tachanka asked the former IDF operative.

"How are you eating without removing your helmet?" Ash asked the former Russian Spetsnaz.

"That's my little secret." Tachanka said.

"Blitz what do you think what Kal'tsit will decide?" Frost asked Blitz who simply let out a tired sigh.

"I don't know Frost, I am really tired and I am not bothering dragging the conversation any further." Blitz said as he continued to eat his lunch.

"Got room for one more?" Came Sonya's question as appeared behind them with her tray of lunch.

"Sure." Blitz said as he made room for the girl to sit.

"Thanks." Sonya said as she sat down, and began to eat her lunch.

"Say... Sonya, where are Natalya, Anna and Lada?" Ash asked the Ursus girl.

"They are with Dobermann training. And... I wanted to say thank you for getting my friends out of Chernobog." Sonya said.

"Thanks, I guess." Frost said.

"Don't tell anyone I thanked you, I rarely give thanks to some random person." Sonya said.

"Yeah, whatever kid." Ash said.

"Zima, where are you? How many time's I've told about dodging training session?." Came Dobermann's voice as the woman entered the Cafeteria.

"Crap." Sonya said.

"There you are." Dobermann said as she walked over to Sonya and started dragging her.

"Hey let me eat my breakfast, woman!" Sonya told Dobermann as the former held on to the table.

"You can eat when you are hungry, your training takes priority, as I won't have an Operator with only 3 days of Training." Dobermann told Sonya finally ripping off the Ursus girl from the table and started dragging her to the training area.

"You think she'll be alright?" Ash asked them.

"Eh, she'll be fine." Blitz said as he returned to eat his breakfast.

Kal'tsit's Office

Two days ago after Blitz gave her the report of the clandestine mission that Team Rainbow undertook without her permission her office Kal'tsit was mildly angry, actually mildly would be an understatement as she had spent the better part of an hour lecturing Blitz on not to play hero and that team Rainbow had been suspended for any further Operations.

And now she sat in her dimly lit office contemplating whether or not she should disband Rainbow team.

But... that'd be pity on her part as she couldn't blame Blitz and the team for Ace's and Scout's death, since they were going in blind to get the USSG kids out of Chernobog.

She was taken off of her musing when she heard her office door knocking.

"Who is it?" Kal'tsit called.

"It's me Mrs. Kal'tsit." Came the Amiya's voice as she opened the door.

"Amiya, what are you doing here?" Kal'tsit asked the Cautus as she walked into the office.

"I wanted to speak in Team Rainbow's defense." Amiya said as she faced Kal'tsit who merely let out a sigh.

"You are aware, that their unauthorized mission has gotten two of our operators killed and you are aware of the consequences if I were to let them go scot free with a simple pat on the shoulder." Kal'tsit told Amiya giving the Cautus to speak her part.

"I know that their mission had gotten Ace and Scout killed, but they did manage to get out the USSG children out of Chernobog, and besides would it be any different if Ace and scout came with us to get Doctor out of the Sarcophagus?" Said Amiya argued.

"True, but let's not forget that if the new and other operators learn about Team Rainbow's clandestine mission mission they'd think that it is a normal occurrence and thus would begin to disregard the chain of command, and would cost more lives further down the line, and as such the team has to be made an example of as to drive home a point." Kal'tsit told Amiya.

"I know, letting of a team that is specialized in hostage rescue would also be a foolish decision." Amiya told Kal'tsit.

And before Kal'tsit could say anything further the door knocked again and Albert came into the office.

"What is it Doctor?" Kal'tsit asked him.

"I couldn't help but eavesdrop in on the conversation, and I wanted to suggest something regarding Rainbow team." Albert told Kal'tsit who looked intently at him.

"What do you suggest then?" Kal'tsit asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"Cut their paycheck by 78% for the next 12 months, and the money from that 78% would go to pay for the damaged Osprey and equipment, and relegate them to simple bodyguard or simply guard duty." The Doctor suggested.

"I'll consider it." Kal'tsit said as she leaned on her chair.

"Very well, I'll be in my room if you need me for anything." Albert said as he left the room.

"Amiya can you call Team Rainbow, I've come to a decision regarding their punishment." Kal'tsit told Amiya.

"Sure." Amiya said as she left the room.

At the Cafeteria

"You know, I never appreciated the cafeteria food until now." Frost told the team.

"Why? High school cafeteria food was bad?" Blitz asked.

"Not really, and didn't feel as appetizing as it looked on the internet." Frost said.

"At least we had our lunches made at home, much tastier." Said Ash.

"I can agree with you on that." Tachanka said as he finished his food.

"Rainbow team?" Came Amiya's voice behind the team.

"Yes, Amiya?" Frost asked.

"Kal'tsit asked for you to come to her office, it's about your team's punishment." Amiya told them.

"Alright, lead the way." Blitz said as he put away his lunch and got up on his feet, who was followed by the rest of the team.

Back at Kal'tsit's office.

"Here's team Rainbow Mrs. Kal'tsit." Said Amiya as she opened the door.

"Thank you Amiya." Said Kal'tsit as team Rainbow entered her office, and Amiya left them alone.

"You know why you are here, Yes?" Kal'tsit asked them.

"We are here to be informed of our punishment, no?" Fros asked.

"Yes, you are correct on your assumption." Kal'tsit confirmed.

"And what will your decision be, Doctor?" Tachanka asked.

"Originally, I considered disbanding team Rainbow permanently, but I changed my mind." Kal'tsit informed the team.

"And what's that decision be ma'am?" Asked Blitz.

"I'll be cutting your paycheck by 78% for the next 12 months, and the money from that 78% would go to pay for the damaged Osprey and equipment, and You'll be relegated to bodyguard or simply guard duty." Kal'tsit told the team, to which they let out a sigh of relief.

"Now you may leave." Kal'tsit said as she waved her hand to let them leave.

"See you around ma'am." Blitz said as he and the rest of the team left the office.

Elsewhere in Rhodes Island

As Sif was working on the treadmill in the training room Leto came to her.

"What can I do for you Leto?" Sif asked her.

"I wanted to thank you and Team Rainbow for rescuing me and my friends from Chernobog, and I wanted to inform you about something regarding Reunion." Leto told Sif, who turned off the treadmill and looked at the Ursus girl with a deadserious look.

"What is it?" Asked Sif.

"When we were making our way inside the garrison building in Chernobog we accidentally, came across some Reunion personnel who said something about attacking Lungmen." Leto informed Sif.

"Thanks kid, I'll go and inform Kal'tsit about it, other than that how are your quarters?" Sif asked the girl.

"Well... Mrs. Sif the lodging is really nice, however I don't know what to do and I don't want to feel like I am a freeloader." Leto told Sif.

"Don't worry kid we might assign you to our messenger unit, or if you are feeling about being a combat operator just go and talk to Dobermann." Sif said when suddenly Dobermann entered the room while she was dragging Sonya inside the training area and the latter was clutching onto the floor.

"Would you look at that." Said Sif.

"Well, you can't blame Zima she's always been her own person making her own rules." Leto said in Sonya's defense

Minutes later

"Kal'tsit?" Sif said as she entered the Feline's office.

"What is it Sif?" Asked Kal'tsit.

"I came to inform you about something Leto told me." Sif told Kal'tsit who raised an eyebrow.

"Who?" Kal'tsit asked.

"Right, you never met her, she's one of the Chernobog's rescuee's, she informed me that Reunion is planning on launching an attack on Lungmen." Sif informed Kal'tsit.

"I see, I guess that we will have to inform Wei Yenwu, about it." Kal'tsit told Sif.

"Guess we have." Sif agreed Kal'tsit.

Lungmen City

Chief Executive's office

Wei Yenwu was getting tired with the paperwork.

"Good grief, these paperworks will be the death of me one day." Wei said to himself as he rubbed his tired eyes, and suddenly the phone began to ring.

"Hello?" Asked Wei as he picked up the phone.

"Chief Executive Wei, it's me Dr. Kal'tsit." Came Kal'tsit voice over the line.

"Mrs. Kal'tsit, what can I do for you?" Wei asked.

"Drop the pleasantries Mr. Yenwu, I called you to inform about an attack that'll happen soon on Lungmen, in a similar fashion to Chernobog's uprising." Kal'tsit told Wei.

"I see, I figured as much with what all the weapons sales happening in my city as of late." Wei said.

"You knew?" Kal'tsit asked Wei.

"Not really, it was more akin to gut feeling accompanied with suspicion, though if you wish to come and help, you are more than welcomed and we'll talk about the business transaction from there." Said Wei.

"Thank you Mr. Yenwu." Kal'tsit said as she closed the phone.

"Now to inform Ch'en." Wei said as he tipped the phone number.

"Yes Chief Executive?" Answered Ch'en.

"Ch'en, I called you to informed that by tomorrow Rhodes Island will be coming to Lungmen, and they will be helping us regarding the weapons' sales that have been happening on the slums outskirts as of late, and do inform your sister." Wei told Ch'en.

"Understood Sir, is there anything else?" Asked asked Ch'en.

"No, that'll be all." Said Wei as he closed the phone, his office door opened and his wife entered.

"Is there something wrong Fumizuki?" Wei asked his wife.

"No there isn't any problem, however... Do you think that Svaha's involved in all of this?" Asked Fumizuki.

"What makes you say that? We all know that she was killed in a raid conducted by the Emperor's blades years ago." Said Wei.

"You know that girl was raised by Kashchey and has always been smarter than she let on, what if she faked her death, and assumed the persona of Morningstar?" Fumizuki asked Wei.

"Hmmm..." Wei said nothing at all as he simply leaned on his chair.
