"You knew?" Kal'tsit asked Wei.
"Not really, it was more akin to gut feeling accompanied with suspicion, though if you wish to come and help, you are more than welcomed and we'll talk about the business transaction from there." Said Wei.
"Thank you Mr. Yenwu." Kal'tsit said as she closed the phone.
"Now to inform Ch'en." Wei said as he tipped the phone number.
"Yes Chief Executive?" Answered Ch'en.
"Ch'en, I called you to informe that by tomorrow Rhodes Island will be coming to Lungmen, and they will be helping us regarding the weapons' sales that have been happening on the slums outskirts as of late, and do inform your sister." Wei told Ch'en.
"Understood Sir, is there anything else?" Asked asked Ch'en.
"No, that'll be all." Said Wei as he closed the phone, his office door opened and his wife entered.
"Is there something wrong Fumizuki?" Wei asked his wife.
"No there isn't any problem, however... Do you think that Svaha's involved in all of this?" Asked Fumizuki.
"What makes you say that? We all know that she was killed in a raid conducted by the Emperor's blades years ago." Said Wei.
"You know that girl was raised by Kashchey and has always been smarter than she let on, what if she faked her death, and assumed the persona of Morningstar?" Fumizuki asked Wei.
"Hmmm..." Wei said nothing at all as he simply leaned on his chair.
With Talulah and Hoshiguma
2 hours later
"Alright let's go and meet up with Ch'en and see why she really called us." Talulah said as she walked out of Hoshiguma's car.
"Yeah, still... Why'd Rhodes Island be coming all the way here should they be in Ursus treating the large number of infected there?" Hoshiguma asked Talulah.
"I have no idea, Ch'en just told me that Rhodes Island would be arriving some time later today." Talulah said as she along with Hoshiguma walked towards the L.G.D Headquarters.
"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" Came Swire's voice as she walked forwards to greet Talulah and Hoshiguma.
Swire was dressed in fitting skirt along with a business shirt and jacket and over her shoulders was a jacket with an orange interior and from a distance the interior seemed to have some fleur-de-lis pattern, as for wares on her lower body, there were a pair of stocking a pair of steel toed heeled boots.
"Hey, Swire, Ch'en just called up to rendezvous with her so we could greet Rhodes Island. What about you?" Talulah answered.
"What a coincidence she told me something similar, do you have any idea why?" Swire asked them.
"Well she did say something that Rhodes Island was sort of involved with Chernobog." Talulah answered.
"You think that, they were involved with the Uprising?" Hoshiguma asked.
"What makes you think that Rhodes Island would cause an Uprising unless they were assisting in the evacuation of the City, after all they are a Pharmaceutical company not some mercenary group, or did you forget that Reunion orchestrated the Uprising?" Swire asked Hoshiguma in the same manner that a teacher would correct a student.
"What ever you say Swire." Hoshiguma said letting the conversation die down.
"Anyways, let's go we don't want to keep Ch'en waiting any longer." Talulah said as she walked towards the H.Q
"Right." Was the response from Hoshiguma and Swire as they followed Talulah inside the building where Ch'en was waiting them.
"Say... Swire don't you have work to do?" Talulah asked Siwre.
"Well Ch'en, did talk to my superiors, for me to accompany your four to meet up with the Rhodes Island representatives." Swire responded.
"At least, you won't be getting your paycheck cut in half you arrived late, eh?" Asked Hoshiguma with a humorous tone.
"Quite." Swire replied as she along with Hoshiguma and Talulah made their way through the HQ and into Ch'en's office.
With Ch'en
In her office Ch'en was looking on her computer at a frozen image of Morningstar, during the woman's execution of the Chernobog city council, and she couldn't help but shake a sense of familiarity with the image of the woman in front of her.
It was obvious that Morningstar was a Draco, if the tail and the horns protruding from her balaclava were any indication, but she felt an odd sense of familiarity with Morningstar, the shape of her horns, the almond shape of her eyes and their amber color.
"Just who are you Morningstar..." Ch'en thought to herself as she looked at the image intently when suddenly she was broken off of her thoughts when her office's doors began to knock.
"Come in." Ch'en said as she closed the video and on the computer the L.G.D logo was in front of the screen.
"We are here Ch'en." Said Talulah as she along with Hoshiguma entered the office.
"So, you told us that Rhodes Island is coming to Lungmen, any real reason why?" Hoshiguma asked Ch'en.
"The Chief executive said that Rhodes Island will be coming here and providing assistance about the weapons sales that has been going on in the slums outskirts." Said Ch'en.
"That's what this is all about?" Swire asked Ch'en.
"The Chief Executive Wei simply told me to call you here and meet up with Rhodes Island that'll be meeting with him." Ch'en told them.
"Is this about something about a second Chernobog?" Talulah asked Ch'en.
"I am led to believe that it is the case with what we've found out from the interrogation of the Mafiosos but there isn't much concrete proof than just the words of a scared ma, and until we meet with Rhodes' Island delegates we can't know for sure." Ch'en replied.
"Very well then, shall we go and meet up with Rhodes Island?" Talulah asked Ch'en.
"Let's." Replied Ch'en as she got up from her seat and walked out of her office though she still wondered exactly who was Morningstar.
With Rhodes Island.
"So we are to meet up with L.G.D personnel?" Asked Sif as she crossed her arms.
Right now Kal'tsit, Sif and the rest of the Rainbow team were standing put waiting for the arrival of their L.G.D escort which was really taking it's time to arrive.
"Yes." Replied Kal'tsit as Sif turned around to see Rainbow team standing guard.
"I thought you wanted to disband the team." Sif told Kal'tsit.
"I did consider disbanding the team at first, but Amiya and Albert came to their defense and as such I relented." Replied Kal'tsit.
"Still... cutting they paycheck? Don't you think that's bit excessive?" Sif asked Kal'tsit.
"They did steal the Osprey which was then shot at and was damaged, sounds really fair in my book." Kal'tsit retorted.
"At least you could have lowered the price of the dormitory, so we wouldn't have to share a room." Blitz said under his breath.
"Quit complaining about it, Blitz it's not that bad." Said Ash.
"I'm sorry Ash but I am a person who values his privacy." Blitz retorted.
And before the debate between Ash and Blitz could go any further an SUV with the L.G.D logo stopped in front of the them.
"Guess the welcoming committee just arrived." Albert commented as he saw four L.G.D operators getting out of the car and began walking towards them.
"You're the Rhodes Island delegates, yes?" Asked the Draco female.
"Ye that's us, and you'd be?" Sif asked.
"I am the Vice-Special inspection unit Chief Talulah, this is Special Inspection Unit Chief Ch'en, and next to her are the Member of the L.G.D Special Service Hoshiguma and Senior Superintendent Beatrix Swire." Talulah introduced herself to them.
"And I'm am the current de-facto leader of Rhodes Island Kal'tsit, and these are my escort, to my left is the special operation's executive Sif and the commander Albert, and our bodyguard Team Rainbow." Kal'tsit introduced herself along with Sif, Albert, and the team.
"Quite the delightful lot." Talulah remarked as she looked at the Rhodes Island delegates.
"Enough of dilly dallying we have a meeting with the Chief Executive of Lungmen city and we wouldn't want to waste his time." Kal'tsit said as she wanted to meet with Wei and didn't have time for chatting.
"Yeesh, calm down, We'll get you there come on." Said Swire as she walked towards the van.
"Let's just get this meeting out of the way, I am sure that the Chief Executive is getting dulled with having to wait for us." Said Sif.
"Indeed, now come along." Talulah said as she led the way.
30 minutes later
Chief Executive's Office
"Chief Executive they are here." Talula said as she along with Beatrix, Hoshiguma, and Ch'en walked inside the office.
"That's good to hear Talulah, send them in." Wei said with a wave of his hand as he put down his pen.
"Alright." Talulah said as she opened the door to the Rhodes Island personel.
"Dr. Kal'tsit how delightful of you to come here." Wei greeted the Feline.
"Quite, however, I am not here for a social meeting and I hope you still recall our conversation we had over the phone." Kal'tsit said in a sharp manner.
"Yes, I do recall about you telling me about a planned uprising in a similar fashion to that of Chernobog approximately four days ago and my suspicions about it and, that you'd be coming to provide assistance correct? The Let's start with the part regarding information." Said Wei cutting straight to the chase after he took a drag off of his pipe.
"Well... as you suspected and Uprising in Lungmen will be launched, however the date is unknown, but we do suspect that it is going to happen once the infected have been agitated to the point of open hostilities." Albert interjected.
"And the weapons sales, are supplies for the groups that may start the uprising." Ch'en concluded recalling her investiong regarding the weapons sales that have been happening as of late.
"Correct, and in this endeavor to end a crisis Rhodes Island will be giving you their assistance." Kal'tsit told Wei.
"Hmmmm, Very well Doctor, we are deeply appreciative of your assistance. Now... let's talk about business shall we?" Asked Wei as a smirk spread on his face after he put down his pipe.
