Do I really need to show you where the Disclaimer is?

Anyways, sorry about the delay, shit was hitting the fan and swinging around, so I wasn't able to use my friend's computer. But thank you all for your support, you guys have no idea how much it has helped.

(By the way, I have to ask; does Saguru come off as a Gary Sue? If so, could you explain how?)

Saguru POV

Summer

Life has a funny way of working out.

Me bumping into Shiba Miyako is one example of this.

It had been a hot day, one where I couldn't stay inside any longer. Bringing my paperwork with me, I hurried out before I could be stopped by the other medics.

(They tend to crowd around me, preventing me from leaving for about another hour.)

Seemed I got quite a following due to my therapy of beating up the brutes who picked on my division. (I had gotten the reputation that despite being a medic, I could and would fight.) One perk of my therapy though was that nobody really wanted me as a nurse, despite my rather large repertoire of healing Kido and my bloody bandage ability. So I was usually stuck helping with rebuilding or stocking the supply store, only during desperate times my assistance was called for.

It was life.

I was debating if I should go bother Gin (he didn't seem to mind me coming over, as we both rather liked fucking around with other people's heads. I guess we could be considered friends?) or Sosuke, (hadn't seen him in a while, could check and see how my chocolate eyed brother was doing.) when I bumped into someone.
And got their drink spilled all over my nice gold-colored Shihakushō with red and brown leaves blowing on a black wind.

Needless to say, I was a bit depressed.

At least the lady was truly apologetic.

"I really am sorry about this; I'm usually not as absentminded as I am today. I can pay for the cleaning if you like." The woman say, her face beautiful, especially with how genuine she is.

(Eh, just ignore the flutter.)

"Eh, it's just clothing; I can clean it myself. At least the paperwork is safe, as I really don't want to do anymore then necessary." I wave it off, still slightly depressed.

(Though I really liked this one too, so I hope it doesn't stain.)

Apparently, I looked like a kicked puppy, as the lady then said.

"I really am sorry about that; how's lunch on me as a good apology?" She offered.

Now, as any true Shinigami knows, when someone offers to buy you lunch/dinner, you accept that offering for what it is and enjoy a free meal.

Naturally I said yes.

Which was merely the start of many other similar meals. (And a few more flutters.)

Fall

"A-achoo!" I sneezed, rubbing the side of my nose. That one hurt.

"Allergies? Or maybe someone is talking about you, Aizen-kun?" Miyako asked, looking rather concerned even as she teased me.

"They probably have nothing good to say. But enough about me, I do believe congratulations are in order, Shiba-san." I say with a grin, handing her a slim box.

"You didn't have to; it's only a promotion-oh my!" I couldn't help but smirk as she took in her present.

I had gotten her a Kogai and a matching Kushi as a present for her promotion to third seat. They were black and had a firework design on them in silver, the Kogai naturally having it on it's ends, while the Kushi comb had it trailing down it's teeth a little. They cost a pretty yen to get, but it was worth it to see the stunned look on her face.

(Again, I ignore the flutter, which is now accompanied by a high feeling.)

"This way when you go out with your mysterious husband, who I have yet to meet, you can go out in style!" I say, giving her a hint.

"I try, but we barely have time together since he became a lieutenant, so we usually just spend all our free time together when we can." She explained gently. (Then again, everything she does is gentle. Really, she is practically the definition of gentle. Guess that's one of the reasons I like hanging out with her.)

"I feel like a dirty secret; are you ashamed to be seen with the evil twin of the Gotei 13?" I exclaim dramatically, teasing out of her a laugh.

"No, I really do treasure our friendship…. I know! How about you come for one of our parties at the Shiba Compound? You will defiantly be able to meet my husband there. You can even bring Tomomi-chan and Sen-san." She said, the excited smile of one with a great idea on her face.

I can't help but grin; free food and alcohol is rumored to run freely at a Shiba party.

How can I possibly refuse? (Especially to those eyes.)

"Tell me when and where, and I'll be there."

Winter

"Now this is what I call a party." I can't help but say, gleefully rubbing my hands together as I eye the food and drink.

Looks all top quality; then again, this is the Shiba clan, one of the great four noble families. They can definintly afford the good stuff. (To bad Tomomi and Sensei were busy, they world have loved this.)

Miyako rolls her eyes, but her smile is filled with amusement, so I'm good.

"Before you leave for the buffet, I believe you wished to met my husband." She says, knocking me out of my little drool fest.

"Oh, sure, I need to see the guy that gets you all those glares and other harassing treatment from your fellow woman." I say, to which she just shakes her head.

"I don't get harressed-" She stops when she see the look on my face, "What, I don't."

"Shiba-chan, I haven't seen one woman not look at you like you stole something precious to them, unless they are part of your clan or already taken. Add to the fact that you keep getting challenged about being 'worthy of him', I think we can consider that being harassed." I tell her, my voice perfectly deadpan.

The rather beautiful woman blushes, scratching the side of her cheek sheepishly as she does so. Really, not only is Miyako a beautiful, motherly type of woman, but she's just as lovely on the inside. If she wasn't so obviously in love with her mysterious husband, I might have been tempted to court her myself.

Might, as I don't know if I could ever handle a relationship. Then there is my infertility.

The bastards weren't content with just destroying my sanity after all.

(Then again, maybe it's a good thing I can't have kids.)

"Come on, he should be over with his brother and sister; I think you might get along well with my sister-in-law." She says, leading me away from the glorious table filled with mouthwatering food.

(Alas, I shall come back for thee!)

Being lead through a crowd isn't exactly fun, but the way people part for us makes it easier.

Though the respectful bows Miyako gets makes me suspicious.

Then we are right before a small group of people, and I just know.

Fuck, I knew the Shiba clan, as they were some of the ones who suffered worst because of my brother, it's head the worst. Just because he was closer then anyone else was to getting the truth.

But it completely slipped my mind the name of his wife, the one who my brother used to get to the head.

As I watch Miyako walk up to Shiba Kaien, pecking his cheek before smiling a smile filled with love, that was returned, I feel slightly nauseous. Kukaku and Ganju look slight amused, but smiles on their faces seeing their brother happy.

I manage to pull myself together before my friend introduces me to her lover, which is a good thing, as the man freezes when he see me.

As those aqua green eyes narrow at me in suspicion, I inwardly sigh.

I really hope he doesn't decide to kick my ass; I really was hoping to be able to eat some of the food here.

Spring

"It's official; your husband hates my guts and is propably plotting my death this moment." I sigh, looking mournfully at my bento. I even made some of my favorites today as a treat for myself, but not even rice balls with konbu along with potato and leek soup can cheer me up.

(The irony of what I just said does not escape me.)

"I'm sure he doesn't hate you." Miyako says gently, though winces when I just stare at her.

"Well, then he certainly does not like me very, very much. I'm now terrified how he is when he truly hates someone." I tell her, honest on the last part. This gets a sigh out of her.

Of course, I know he doesn't hate me or anything; he's just very, no, extremely suspicious of me.

And I honestly can't blame him.

After all, if I'm correct, the man is slowly gathering evidence against my brother, which I'm sure my brother is starting to suspect.

So the fact that I, as the Sosuke's twin, am befriending his wife, would probably ring quite a few alarm bells.

Eh, if it makes the man warier, should probably help him in the long run.

Maybe then Miyako will actually live. I don't want to let one of the few friends I have die. (Unrequited crush or not.)

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Is suddenly exclaimed, getting my attention on my friend again, who takes out a small box from her pocket.

As she hands it to me, I open as soon as it's in my hands, curious about what she got me. I can't help but gape.

"I've heard you complain about dropping your tantos in spars with your sensei, so I thought you would appreciate these. I also believe you would enjoy the pratical use for them, instead of the decorated one, so I made sure to get the plain leather ones… I do apologize for missing your birthday, but at least you got to spend it with your brother.." Miyako said, a smile on her face seeing how much I like them.

What she got was two black leather sword knots for my Zanpakuto, with no decoration on them like she said. They're obviously well made and I can't wait to try them out.

"Thank you." I can't help but smile, grateful for the gift.

Only a year of friendship, and I already want to find a way to save her and Kaien.

I can only try my best.

(AN)- So, again, thanks to everyone who is supporting my story, and a big thank you to my... Wonderful friend who is letting trash like me even touch their precious computer.

Anyways, I have decided! Another Q and A shall be held! So please send in your questions.
