Disclaimer lives! Where? In the Summery.

Warning: Saguru. (What does that mean? It means the chapter might contain violence, foul language, and sadistic moments.)

You readers are all awesome; thanks for sticking with this story.

Saguru POV

Serious. Holy. Fuck.

"We can't catch a break, can we?" I find myself saying, looking over at the only other conscious person around.

Oh, never mind, he's unconscious now too. Fucking brilliant that.

At least he helped make the barrier to keep any Hollows away (probably was what knocked him out now that I consider it). Good thing too, as it seems we're just surrounded by the buggers. I swear I've counted about 30 of those things passing by, we thankfully going unnoticed due to hiding under the roots of a giant, big ass tree and the Barrier Kido protecting us.

(Truthfully I'm surprised by how roomy it is down here. You could probably build a small cottage down here and have room left over.)

Frowning, I look back over at Miyako, who despite still breathing…

I can't keep the built up sigh in, going over to the un-named raven whose condition I can at least help. After all, he's only a bit banged up, which I can fix easily, no problem.

(Unfortunately, the unconscious state will remain for quite a while. Damn it.)

While with Miyako… I managed to prevent her from being possessed by the Hallow, but the thing leached so much Spiritual Energy from her that, well, she's no better than a plus at the moment. Add that the thing destroyed her sword into unrecognizable pieces, and you have to wonder how her mind is holding up.

And that's not even the worse part of her condition; She's two weeks pregnant.

And I very much doubt her and the baby with live.

Keeping Ryu-hime unsheathed as I keep watch, I hold my blades at the ready, not letting the fuck all of a mission and my failure of saving my friend from this state get to me.

(As someone who can never have little brats to be annoyed by, I know little of the pain; but it doesn't take a genius to know that losing a child hurts. And Miyako is probably going to go through it...)

It's no time to get emotional now.

I have to keep watch, in case any Hollow recognizes the energy from the Kido spell.

Though due to my vigilant watching, I can't help but raise an eyebrow as I watch the scene that plays before my eyes.

All the Hollows in the area just seem to tense, like prey sensing the presence of a predator, and seem to decide as one to get the hell out of dodge. And not too soon, as I see a rather large Hollow thrown into a tree. I can't help but let out a whistle; it was a really impressive throw.

Looking over for the thrower, I can't help but double take.

How in the name of Souls and Spirits did a damn Vasto Lorde get here! Without being noticed?

(Incompetence, thy name is Gotei 13.)

The humanoid looking Hollow is rather impressive, despite their small size; I think I'm a little taller then them in fact.

The Hollow's mask looks sort of like the top part of a dog skull (because of that, I can still see his mouth, which looks normal), if it wasn't for the ears and (instead of holes where the eyes should be) red foxy eyes, narrowed and glowing brightly, as well as the narrow snout. Their skin is covered in what seems to be a white fur, black and gold tribal markings trailing down the high level hollow's sides and arms. And then there is the distinct hole every hollow has, placed right on the lower back, just barely above their butt.

They also have a big, fluffy white tail with a gold tip, red swirling around it.

I have never before had the urge to pet something as much as I have now.

(Then again, I have never seen anything... 'fluffier' than that tail...)

"You call that a throw! I've felt worse from the small fry!" Is called tauntingly from the direction where the thrown Hollow landed.

Looking over at it, the first thing that pops into my head is this; bobcat.

The female (from their voice, I would call them a female) Hollow looks exactly like one, down to the tiny little tail she has. Of course, I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of those claws of hers, as they look rather wicked. Though she seems a bit plainer then the male, with only black and brown the only coloring she has.

Doesn't take away the fact she's pretty scary for a lower ranking Hollow.

"Then I shall precede to throw you with much more force next time, you vile being." The fox-like Hollow replies, the voice revealing that they're male. (And is that a British accent I hear?)

Now, if you look up refined grace in a dictionary, you would probably see this Hollow's picture. And I don't know about anyone else, but damn does this Hollow have a beautiful voice; I feel like I'm surrounded by silk just hearing it.

I can't help but root for this guy to win. (And no, it has nothing to do with his fluffiness.)

"Are you sure it isn't the voice?" Ryu says teasingly.

(I'm just going to ignore that.)

"Ha! I doubt you could do more then push me in that state; the injuries the others caused must hurt." Bobby (I'm calling her that for now) gloats, purring with pleasure at the thought of pain.

Frowning, I look over at the male Hollow, looking past the appearance and letting the medic in me out and about.

What I see doesn't please me.

Not only is Mr. Fox (that's what I'm calling him) bleeding quite heavily from multiple cuts, but if I'm right, they also can't use their right arm.

Not to mention the waves of exhaustion the Vasto Lorde is just emitting.

Makes one wonder how many Hollows it took for him to be brought to this state, as it's obvious this Hollow is no weakling.

"While the pain may inhibit me in multiple ways, I shall not lose to one such as thee." Wow, talk about proud bearings, this Hollow could probably out noble the nobles I've seen.

A growl is the only warning I get before my eyes bare witness to the fight that follows.

It's pretty impressive, though obvious that while the better fighter with more skill is the noble Fox, Bobcat has not only more energy, but is also not too bad of a fighter herself. It's pretty much set on who is going to win, which worries me.

It's subtle, but I get the feeling that Bobby not only tricked Mr. Fox, but betrayed him as well. That, or the cat Hollow is a stalker, because she is not only able to dodge the attacks sent at her, but even predict them as well. Then there are her earlier words that she said, which indicate an ambush.

That really doesn't sit well with me.

So I'm left in a bit of a spot; should I help him, or not?

While I would like to help, how do I know Foxy won't decide that I look rather yummy and decide to take a bite? It would be better not to risk it…

Rather suddenly, Bobby does a forceful tackle, using her paws to force the injured Hollow to the ground, not leaving him very much wiggle room.

"Why?" I hear Mr. Fox ask, his voice pained, though I don't think it's all because of the physical damage.

"You have no idea how much I've wanted to see this; you where you belong, defeated and weak. Where is your 'honor' now, fox?" Bobby sneers, triumph in her tone as she stares down at her opponent with hatred and... is that jealousy?

The Betrayal/Stalker theory is gaining ground.

"You know," The increasingly annoying kitty starts again (Great, a monologue for the villain), "I've toyed with the idea if I want to eat you in one swallow, or bite by bite." Is said, vicious glee easily heard in her voice.

I can't help but stare, my grip on my blades tighter then before as I take in the conflicted emotions on Foxy's face.

I'm getting rather annoyed right now.

"I think I'll start from the feet, so that you can watch as I-" Bobby is then cut off by the arm I just cut off.

Her scream brings me that warm fuzzy feeling I get when I see the sufferings of tormentors.

Th foxy Hollow is now staring at me, while the bobcat Hollow is still screaming in pain.

(Wow, what a wimp; it's just an arm.)

"Saguru-kun, what exactly are you doing? You really shouldn't be drawing such attention to yourself right now." I hear Ryu-hime say, the concern in her tone easy for me to hear.

"Eh, I really don't like bullies, Shinigami or Hollow." I say this aloud (because I felt like it), my back to neither Hollow, but making sure to face the more annoying one.

(I'm no idiot; I'd already be dead if I was one.)

"Also," I think to Ryu-chan as I eye the the Bobcat Hollow, "I don't have my stress ball."

"Now, be a good little kitty while I cut you apart; I have a lot of pent up sadism to express." I say out loud with a grin filled with blood lust, stalking up to Bobby, letting my aura unwind.

Ah, I'm already starting to feel a little bit better.

(AN)- Finally! This chapter was giving me such a pain to write; I just kept typing and deleting, before scraping the whole chapter and redoing the whole thing! Though now I can at least say I'm alright with it.

Sooooo...

I've noticed how people have been asking questions about the timeline and what time things are happening.

Saguru was 13 (technically 26, because he died at 25, spent a year with Sosuke in the afterlife. Though he looked like a 12 year old when he came to this world) when he was kidnapped.

He spent around a century being experimented on. (113/126)

Then Visored are created, which is seen as 100 years before canon.

Around 57 years later, we have what's happening now from chapter 24-?. (So at the moment Saguru is 170, technically 183.)

So, around canon time, Saguru will be around 213, (though technically 226).

(And yes, as the author, I skip around to when the more interesting parts happen, putting in daily happens to balance the story out. Hope I succeeded and sorry for any confusion.)
