A/n: Thanks everyone for your praises and support. I am back and without further ado, we move...
It seems some of you that read my conquering death's heart story didn't like what i did with Odin and Hela. I will not apologize for it as the idea felt reasonable at the time, but i see your point. Anyway i deleted the story and will try to do better next time as it seems such an idea was uneccessary to add as I had high hopes for it. At least it wasn't a total waste for me as I believed it would have been a success if I didn't add that to it.
Anyway, back to this one, I might add one or two more women due to people's request, though that's debatable as i am not too comfortable with too many women, but even if i add more i will make sure their relationship with the blonde is easy for readers to stomach and doesn't go too far off the context of this story. As for the women in question, let me know your thoughts..
My understanding of jutsus and explanations may differ from what many of you are used to, so just try to be understanding and be open minded.
Also there are a whole lot of mysteries I will leave unsolved with some hints by the side for y'all to figure out, but most things won't be revealed until a much later time in the story.
Though, quick question for y'all. Which is more powerful, Kurama's full chakra or Natural energy?
Chapter 5:The final clearing (Bringing the beast out)
BOOM! was the explosive sound reverberating the battlefield as all individuals around were either blown away, or were blown to bits by the explosion of potent golden energy that spread across.. It was coming from one individual and it was so potent that it caused a massive crater to form where the individual stood, everyone could feel its energy and could see it while it saturated the entire area.
This was way above any shinobi's paygrade as it would be wise for any of them to steer clear..
A titanic battle was about to begin..
Inside the large crater and amidst the large cloud of smoke, we see 2 individuals, one with red energy surrounding him as 3 tails swayed behind him and the other covered in light and barely visible golden energy as his irises reflected pure golden power behind them. This was Sage mode, not the animal versions of it, but more of an ancestral kind, one that only 2 before him in history had unlocked..
The red cloaked 3 tailed individual had his hand held tightly by the golden covered one as the former tried wrestling away from the tight grip which was way stronger than he expected..
His opponent should have been dead by now judging from the power and speed of the punch, and even while being able to catch the punch, his hands should have been burnt by the corrosive chakra of his jinchuriki cloak..
None of that was the case and it only made Yagura wonder a little, fearfully in fact. Perhaps he had bit off more than he could chew..
"You are strong Yagura, but not strong enough" his opponent said with a powerful echoing voice, still holding firmly unto his hand...
It wasn't a condescending statement, but the Kage didn't take too kindly to it.
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME" Yagura yelled as he tried using his tails to skew the blonde, but he was too fast for that as the blonde swiftly moved some distance away while doing a few backflips, effectively evading the tails of death and releasing his grip on the shorter man.
BOOM! was the sound made from his 3 tails stabbing into the floor where the blonde just stood, making a medium sized crater..
"Too slow" said the blonde a few feet away.. "Now my turn" he said as he punched the ground with one hand, causing a mini earthquake and completely destroying the floor beneath him, which made giant rocks to fly as the destruction headed towards Yagura at great speeds..
Not wanting to be caught in the destruction coming at him, the short Kage gathered chakra into his tails and unleashed a powerful wave of wind as it smashed into the giant rocks, colliding but halting them from coming at him by sending them sideways, however it wasn't enough as a few rocks made their way through intent on crushing him
"Water style, giant water dispersing net" he called the technique as he spewed a sharp net of water from his mouth, slicing the rocks into pieces just before they made contact with him.
He was still in version 1 cloak hence his usage of elemental jutsus, which were even made more powerful by the increase in chakra.. However he may need to access the 2nd version in order to deal with this nuisance as not once had he faced someone who could block his punch while in this mode, but this person seemed to be way faster and had equal, if not even better reflexes..
Looking ahead through the dusty cloud, he was surprised to see his opponent was no longer there, until he heard a voice behind him echo. "Behind you"
All he could think of was one word. "Fast"
CRACK!
With that he received the most brutal kick he had ever felt to his back making some bone cracking noises as it sent him flying quite a distance away through a few rocks, smashing through them with destructive force in the process..
That one really hurt..
"That should tame the beast for a bit, though i do hope i didn't kill him" Naruto thought as he had put quite some power behind that kick as he was sure the man's spine had been shattered by its force. But of course he would heal, though it would take a while, though Naruto didn't care much as he was enjoying himself.
In this mode he was the strongest man alive in terms of physical strength, reaction time and maybe speed, though the latter was debatable as he had yet to face off with the super fast Raikage..
In terms of strength that was also debatable as Tsunade would be his major competition, but he was sure he would win as this was the pure raw power of nature which he had refined through the most intense training. Hers was just physical strength by concentrating all her chakra into a point in her fist or her feet and exploding it outwards.
He on the other hand didn't need to do any of that so far he had enough nature chakra absorbed of which there was plenty to go around. Unless he got careless, he should win a round with the busty Kage. Tsunade would eventually run out of chakra, but he wouldn't, whether of his own or with natural energy..
He had been holding back for too long, now he was letting loose with no restrictions, worries or concern whether for himself or his opponent.. It was time to wake up..
"You know you don't have to use this power to defeat the 3 tails Jinchuriki as even someone with half a brain could win in a fight. Raw Power isn't everything you know and too much if it can make you quite careless. Don't get carried away kit, this isn't a fight you should be losing" warned the fox.
It was true that Naruto didn't need this mode to win against Yagura, hell he didn't need this mode to win against most shinobi, even some of the Kages.. This was for much bigger fish in an ocean of legends and so called gods..
Jinchuriki's were predictable especially when a lot their arsenal is based on their jinchuriki status. One didn't need too much power to defeat them, just a good knowledge of sealing arts and a versatile arsenal of jutsus.. That was if such person had gotten over the fear of facing a Jinchuriki in the first place.
Fear was good, but for the most part was a big hinderance to one's progress in battles and got a lot of people killed especially when combined with recklessness.. A lot of people won't think straight when afraid and so they become reckless and sloppy even when their enemy is too predictable..
Jinchuriki's were to be feared and those with full control even more so, but they were not impossible to defeat if you knew what you were doing..
Naruto obviously knew what he was doing, was knowledgeable about fuinjutsu and had a large arsenal of powerful elemental jutsus under his belt. So using nature chakra for this fight felt like overkill..
But it wasn't the fight he was concerned about, Naruto just wanted to have fun as he had been deprived of a lot of it for way too long.. He wanted to wake up..
If this was all yagura had to offer, then the man would die very quickly as if he wanted to survive long enough he had to step up his game and use more power of his bijjuu.. Though this was the first time Naruto was battle testing Sage mode and so far he was liking the results..
He had been using it before to enhance his jutsus, but this was the first time he was battle testing it with hand to hand combat. No wonder why Hashirama was called god of shinobi as no man alive could reach the heights the 1st Hokage reached when it comes to Senjutsu, except him of course just as he was doing now..
He hadn't even begun using its advanced version as this was just base form..
As for how he learnt it, well lets just say being the jinchuriki of the kyubbi was a very good bonus as if he could master full control over Kurama's complex and life giving chakra, then natural energy was nothing. A few people would argue that it was the other way around, but not for Naruto and his prideful bijuu partner.
According to Kurama, his potent chakra despite it's deadly effects if Mastered fully could give life, but nature energy only preserved life and when combined together, well lets just say only someone close the founder of Shinobi's level would stand a chance against such an individual. The man was the closest thing to being a god and no one had ever reached such heights, not even Hashirama.. Even Madara with all his cunning had only managed to utilize Kurama's basic power and combined it with Susanoo, something that while frightening was defeated by the legendary Senju using Sage mode...
If Madara had actually managed to master the fox's chakra especially while he was still complete, then Hashirama would have stood no chance even with Senjutsu.. Those were legendary times, but they were nothing compared to the old days before shinobi came into existence as actual gods roamed the lands at the time. Since then no one could actually be called a god at least according to Kurama and Naruto's "ally"..
It was only a matter of time as Naruto had already began shedding off his humanity..
Back to Kurama's chakra, while life giving it could also be life sapping and life shortening even to those who are "god level".. To think he wasn't even the most powerful Bijuu and yet his chakra could do so much..
That was a story for another time..
However, Nothing was more powerful than Kurama's chakra, not even Nature chakra, though it was comparable...
With that aside Naruto was currently basking in Nature's embrace, enjoying the flow of it's life preserving energy flowing through his body and he was crushing it, quite literally.
Fuck Toad and Snake Senjutsu..
Yagura had better stop holding back and bring out more of the beast within, and from the potent chakra that began saturating the air which was coming from the direction he had crashed into, it seemed the man was about to do just that..
That was exactly what Naruto wanted, for reasons other than just a prolonged and satisfying battle of course.. It wasn't always about the fight..
Hopefully his opponent wouldn't disappoint...
It was sad though for someone to be this powerful because of bijuu chakra. Fine the short kage had full control over it as well as being an accomplished water style user, but still it was sad..
A Kage needed more power than just that of being a Jinchuriki as It would only make such person an unstable target even to his Village if his enemies knew the right buttons to push just as a certain Uchiha lurking in the shadows had done..
The Sharingan was truly a useful tool..
"Tch! Its useful but not almighty"
"It managed to tame you didn't it? And quite easily if i might add"
"Fuck you"
2 clones materialized beside Naruto with their irises just as golden and bodies covered in thin golden energy. "Take care of the rest of the army and make sure to to limit casualties for the rebellion as well as keep some bloodline users alive" he ordered the both of them..
"Understood" they said simultaneously as they disappeared in a burst of speed to assist the rebellion who had now made their move on the remaining part of Yagura's army.
He had taken out enough of them already, but they still outweighed the numbers of the rebellion hence his rendering assistance. It would be a shame if they lost despite all the effort he put into this war..
"You just don't want any interference so you can keep Mizukage for your entertainment. Sometimes i wonder about your sanity when you regard something like this as entertainment" remarked Kurama with a bit of sting in his voice as he was still angry about Naruto's last comment..
"it would be in the best interest of everyone if that was the case as i wouldn't want to accidentally kill an ally. Besides, where is the fun in sanity?"
Saner heads hardly went far in life, of course you needed to be rational in some situations, but risks takers were mostly the world movers and changers even if they have to pay the price with their lives..
"Just don't show off too much, we have an audience after all" finished the fox with slight anger, referring to the chakra signature hiding not too far away..
"Duly noted"
BOOM!
A massive explosion of dust and rocks occurred in the direction where the Mizukage had smashed through, and from the smoke emerged the man covered in armored bones and full cloak of bijuu chakra as his menacing tails swayed behind him, staring at his direction with his pure white eyes.. There was no emotion in those eyes, just beastly savagery and a desire for blood. His blood..
"ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR"
Powerful gusts of wind picked up as the beast roared loudly, saturating the air with its uncontrolled lust for carnage and destruction as the very earth itselff began to crack and surrounding trees began to light on fire. Then it all stopped..
BOOM!
With a resounding shockwave and speeds to fast for most men to follow, the beast blitzed towards him, smashing more rock and destroying all in its wake as it came at him with one intent.. Death..
Seeing the epitome of destruction heading his way, Naruto just smiled a devilish smile as his eyes glowed brighter gold, the Glee and excitement very evident in them..
"Its party time"
"Lava style, Lava dragon jutsu" were the last words a bunch of mist shinobi heard as the bullets hit their mark, melting all the men in its path as they screamed in excruitiating pain..
This was the pattern being followed as Mei and her shinobi made their way into the battlefield after the young blonde disappeared the Mizukage deep into the mountains.
If he wasn't an ally she would thought he ran away with the Jinchuriki in order to steal his bijuu, but considering how much of Yagura's army he had cut down as well as all he had done for her people, Mei had to give him the benefit of the doubt. She wasn't even worried about his survival against the Kage's terrifying jinchuriki form, as if the young man could cause all this destruction in a short period of time then he would be alright.
Though she would appreciate him toning down the destruction for a bit so they can have something to rebuild on.
Imprisoning 5 shinobi in a water prison and holding it to make them unconscious, Mei in her distracted state didn't notice the kunai sialing through air in her direction until it was almost too late.
Appearing behind her and catching the Kunai mid air, the clone imbuing it with explosive wind chakra threw it back at its sender at 3 times the speed, shredding the person upon impact and with its outwards cutting explosive force, killed and injured a few enemy shinobi around..
Having successfully sucked the air from her captives, Mei unleashed the water prison and used water element to create a large sweeping vortex and unleashed it at her surroundings in order to sweep away a few enemies. She was willing to kill a few of Yagura's men, but would prefer just disabling or knocking most of them unconscious
"You should be more attentive and more ruthless" said the clone emotionlessly and was about to disperse to fight some more until she grabbed its hand to reply. "If i kill everyone we wouldn't have any shinobi left, I hope you and the other one can reduce casualties on the enemies part as some of them are still reformable" she said referring to both clones created as they both had been killing off too many of the enemy just as their original. The killing was helpful, but not necessarily needed anymore as the rebels were almost matching Yagura's army in numbers now.
The clone looked at her unblinking for about a second, summoned a few shuriken and threw them behind her.
They hit their targets of 4 ninjas, swiftly shocking them into unconsciousness as lightning element had been imbued into the shurikens.
"Arrggghhhhhh" were their simultaneous screams as they didn't stand a chance..
Considering most of the ground was wet and they were wet, it was easy..
Seeing as he didn't kill them, Mei had turn back at the clone with a smile as it responded. "Duly noted" with that said it vanished in flicker to once again assist the rebels.
BOOM!

The consecutive explosions were coming from the mountains again as Mei almost fell off her feet if not for Chakra.
Whatever fight was happening over there, she was glad the boy had taken it away from them. Taking her mind off it, she leaped back into the battle with excitement like never before, knowing that victory was sure.
It may have been wrong to be so trusting in a foreign shinobi and one so young, but the evidence speaks for itself. Hopefully the boy wouldn't turn out to another Itachi Uchiha or even worse, another Madara..
BOOM!
He had dodge another swipe of the 3 tails cloak, the boulder he stood on before now pieces of rock.
ROOOOOAAARRRRRR! BOOM! BOOM!
It came at him even faster and more savage as it tried everything it could to catch the elusive blonde speedster, even going as far as to stretch its tails as long as possible to capture him, smashing, crushing and destroying all in its wake just to kill its target. This had been the pattern over the last few minutes as Naruto had been on the defensive ever since, just sticking to evasive manuevers and enjoying being fully in sage mode even it was more of a basic format. His speed and reflexes were incredible even more so than his already impressive speed, and his raw strength, well he hadn't had need for it as of yet as he didn't want to accidentally brutalize and kill the Jinchuriki. At least too quickly..
Kurama was right, this was overkill as he was already powerful enough to defeat this monster before activating this mode, but that's not to say he wasn't enjoying himself, maybe a little too much.
"Are you gonna keep running around like a headless chicken or are you gonna actually do something before the entire land gets reshaped?" rebuked the fox in agitation.
Seeing its host just running around from the 3 tails jinchuriki gave it a bitter taste in its mouth..
If this continued on longer, especially if the beast started using beast balls then the land of water was in a for a major foundational restructure. Yagura was completely out of it as the beast had come out to play in full force..
Good thing he lured it away from the battlefield.
Leaping into the air to dodge another swipe, he performed just one hand seal mid air to call upon a famous Leaf technique, but on an grander scale.
"Sage art, Fire style, Ultra big ball Jutsu" he spewed out of his mouth a giant fireball, 4 times the size of a regular fireball technique and much hotter as it sped to its target with unrelenting force.
BOOM!
It had hit home.
Landing gently, Naruto waited for the giant inferno the explosion had caused to die down, staring ahead of him with his golden irises narrowed. It wasn't over yet.
Coming out of the inferno was the red cloaked beast, completely unharmed and ready to once again tear his head off as it almost covered the distance in a single leap at him.
He smirked a little.
Stomping on the ground with a heavy thud, natural energy coursed through the mud as the floor ahead of him turned into a river of mud, stopping his attacker in its tracks and trapping it a form of quicksand..
Ohh the joys of Natural energy as just releasing it from any part of his body an unto any object could make it almost do as he pleased as all he had to do was think it upon contact and that was it.
Despite its aggressive attempts at escape the river of mud was too strong even for such a savage beast, almost dragging it underneath as it roared in anger and rage, its skin trying to desperately melt the mud.
Performing another one hand seal, he called upon another fire technique.
"Sage art, Great dragon's destruction breath" once again, spewing a powerful stream of hot flames, the technique took shape as a roaring long dragon, speeding towards its target like a missile and began to burn the entire field around it, even going as far as to spread outwards and burning surrounding trees, turning everything to ash.
ROOOOAAARRRRR! was the sound the beast could only make as it screamed in agony at its chakra bones being melted off and its cloak also being burned, which was saying something as the cloak itself was highly corrossive.
Once again, this was Sage art at its finest especially with its amplification of elemental jutsus. In this mode he didn't even need any hand seals to perform justsus except for one hand seals for Fire style and that was because it was the one he had least affinity for. However it did make his control a whole lot better and potency much more deadly..
Releasing the technique, the roaring flame stopped just as the beastly roars also stopped, leaving the surroundings covered in heavy smoke and steam. Even the ground wouldn't stand a chance with such concentrated flames.
BOOM! A mini beast ball was fired at great speeds through the smoke.
Reacting instantly thanks to his extremely heightened senses by sending chakra into the ground through his feet, a large earth dragon formed and took the mini tailed beast ball into its mouth, exploding upon impact.
Looking ahead through the smoke, he could see his target still covered in it's corrosive red cloak, however it was mostly peeled off just as the skeletal bone armor had been melted by the flames.
It seemed the enhanced fire did it's job, but not enough to kill it..
Well no matter, he had more time to experiment then.
Giving the beast no time to recover, spreading his arms sideways he made a fancy turn, gathering chakra into his hands and mouth to unleash another but peculiar fire technique.
"Sage art, fire style, dragon's fire guiding missiles"
Unleashing 3 medium sized flames from his mouth and hands upon completing the turn, the missile like flames were sent into the air and began steering towards their target as they locked on it.
Before they could hit, the beast Having recovered enough but not wanting to get hit so soon, tried evading them by speeding away from it's position..
However with the natural energy and it's name, the technique fully locked on its target followed the beast as it moved around, almost catching up to it despite it's best efforts to evade them as their flames licked and burnt the surroundings, but not stopping them in their attempt to hit their target.
Naruto didn't need to control them as they had enough sentient energy to act on their own until their target was destroyed.
Seeing as it couldn't completely lose them, the beast stopped moving around, stretched and expanded it's 3 tails to a bigger size upwards, using them to stop the flaming missiles from hitting it and making Them explode upon contact..
Such action made Naruto narrow his eyes even more..
"So it's not just a senseless beast after all huh. Interesting" he thought to himself.
"The savage tendencies of having a Bijuu inside him may have taken over, but since he has full control he can still make some logical decisions every now and then even in such a state. You already knew this that's why I told you to just finish this quickly enough. But of course you are just too stubborn"
The Fox was right. It's host was just wasting chakra, but it's not like he couldn't as he had very high reserves even without sage mode..
Still it was just as waste..
"Heads up"
Looking ahead, he could see the beast having recovered more gather it's tails and build the most chakra it could salvage into a single point as the winds began to pick up and a familiar ball of energy was being created.
A bijuudama..
Once big enough, the beast was about to send it at him, but Naruto was already prepared, however what he was about to attempt was insane..
He wanted to punch it..
"It's your funeral kit" the Fox remarked casually..
He knew it's host wouldn't die, but that didn't mean he wouldn't get hurt even with Senjutsu..
Who in their right mind would wanna punch a bijuudama?
Right then and there Naruto could send a jutsu at it causing it to implode on its creator, or even if at all he let it come at him he could just evade it or even summon a deity gate.. But of course his crazy host wanted to go for something more spectacular and grandiose instead of just sticking to the basics..
Even with his maturity, the blonde was just like any other youth who wanted to just use flashy jutsus..
Gathering enough natural energy into his right fist, Naruto's right eye glowed brighter gold as he called upon his technique..
THOOM! The giant ball sailed at him at amazing speeds, destroying it's surroundings with shockwaves as it made its way through..
Just as it was about to hit, he called with a powerful echoing voice.
"Ashura" a giant and golden invisible ethereal hand surrounded his fist, ready to defend it's summoner..
"God's fist" he finished
The world exploded in white flames.
BOOM!
What the?" Neko thought as a giant white explosion showed a distance away as the ground shook once again
Momentarily losing concentration, it took Kakashi steeping in to electrocute two of her attackers with his lightning wolf technique to get her attention..
"Focus Neko. Naruto can take care of himself. Let's not waste his reduction of the enemies numbers by being distracted"
The silver haired jounin reminded her, going back to facing off a few others..
He was right, but how could he be so calm knowing his student was over there fighting a freaking Jinchuriki..
Had Yagura already transformed fully?
Fine, there was nothing she could do even if she wanted to, but was still worried for the blonde even with all the stress he had caused her, especially with their last conversation remaining unfinished..
Well as her senpai said, he can take care of himself.. Terrifyingly so even.
"Don't die you blonde idiot"
Heavy steam and large clouds of smoke surrounded the environment as a great deal of the landscape had been destroyed, even more so by the explosion caused by the beast ball hitting its target.. Despite its size just being medium, its explosive power was immense and very destructive judging by the evidence of the huge crater it created upon impact, its target nowhere in sight.
Was the blonde annoyance evaporated in the explosion?
This would have been the question for a human to ask, however the red cloaked beast crouching amidst the smoke in silence wasn't human, at least while in that form..
Seeing as its target had been take out, the version 2 cloaked kage just stayed still in silence as its tails swayed behind it passively. It seemed it was in a relaxed state.
Too bad..
Almost in an instant, an individual appeared above it from the steam, holding 2 rotating spheres of energy in his hand and then unleashed it Izuna drop style.
"Wind style, Big ball Rasengan Barrage"
BOOM!
Catching the beast off guard, Naruto grinded the 2 potent spheres of energy mid air into its back as they dug into its cloak making it roar in pain, smashing the beast into the ground as a large crater began forming.
Having grinded the destructive orbs deep into the beasts body and peeling off its cloak in the process, Naruto finished the technique with one word.
"Implode"
With the wind release added into it, both giant orbs shrunk into the beasts body, then blew up from the inside in a powerful blast of destructive wind force and creating an even larger crater as the beast roared one last time in pain.
It was over..
BOOOOOOMMMMM"
The target didn't stand a chance as it was blown with destructive force deep into ground, a few miles deep into the earth as all that was left was giant hole/crater..
In the eyes of anyone who could witness the techniques devastation, they would say Yagura was dead and the fight over, but Naruto knew better as he didn't necessarily put enough power to kill the man, just enough to bring him to the brink of death so the bigger monster can come out..
He could have just done that from the beginning.. He only hoped he had gauged the Rasengan's power well enough not to kill the man as he had just used 2 versions of a jutsu that was well off S rank..
"You were right. Punching that attack wasn't a good idea" said Naruto offhandedly as he wasn't even bothered by the fact that he might have killed his opponent, nor was he fazed by the pain his body was in at that moment..
"Told you so you idiot
"That was fun though as it's not everyday someone gets to punch a bijuudama and live. Not even Tsunade can do that, though i do wonder about Hashirama"
"You never learn do you" growled the fox with the equivalent of a face palm.. Fine the boy was right as not even the female senju could do what he just did, even the famed god of shinobi couldn't in his prime as the man would rather block or deflect it with his wood style or deity gates. The 2nd and 4th Hokage on the other hand would just teleport it away.
Only a fool with a death wish will do what his host just did, even with senjutsu.
However he did have to give it to the boy, as Naruto had just beaten another milestone in the history of shinobi eventhough the beast ball wasn't fully powered and it was from the 3 tails.. Though he wasn't unscathed..
The right side of his clothes were torn, as his right arm with now torn bandages was fully exposed. He was also covered heavily in dust, his neck scarf was gone and the skin on the right side of his face was peeled off, showing a much paler skin underneath. The tissue had an artificial look to it as it contrasted with the rest of his skin color.
Even the right side of his hair was now grey, completely contrasting with the blonde color on the left side as even the color in his eyes were also different, with the right being almost white and the left still remaining blue..
If any experienced medic got a look at him like this, they would immediately know that the right side of his body was artificial but modified enough to fully match his original DNA, even down to his chakra network. Even a dojutsu couldn't distinguish such and thankfully only a medic like Tsunade would be able to detect his secret, hence why he covered most of his body and underneath his clothes with chakra masking bandages. more of his right side the left just in case his clothes got destroyed. It seems he would need to put stronger seals on his clothes in order to prevent them from getting destroyed in the future..
A certain snake would definitely wish to get a piece of such tissue considering its properties surpassed even those of Hashirama's cells. Which pegged the question, whose tissue was this and how could it fit so well to his body?
The answer was beyond the physical and even went back into ancient history, one that had relation to both Him and the late first Hokage, maybe even the Uchihas..
As for the abilities it gave Naruto, well lets just say it served mainly as a compliment to already impressive potential abilities and his destiny... A destiny that was already becoming a reality...
COUGH!
Naruto fell to one knee, using his sword as balance as he coughed up a bit of blood. It seemed the pain his body felt was too much for it to handle, hence its reaction..
So much for being fun..
"Kurama, damage report!" he ordered mentally as he coughed up a bit more red liquid.. The effect wasn't unexpected, it was even appreciated even as the taste of blood and his body falling prey to weakness just proved that while he was mostly no longer human, taking reckless decisions as regards his powers could be detrimental.
That didn't mean he wasn't gonna be reckless again in the future, but of course he would always be prepared to deal with the consequences after wards.. This however wasn't anticipated.
"Who do you think i am, your doctor?"
"Just tell me already" he nearly yelled mentally as he could still feel the taste of blood in his mouth.. Considering his eyes had returned back to their normal color or at least one eye, he was no longer in sage mode as he had used too much senjutsu in his last attack when he punched the bijuudama.
He might have mastered senjutsu, but it wasn't fully battle tested and that was just its base form... To think he still had more advanced versions which he also hadn't fully battle tested yet..
"Good thing it was the base form you used as your body would have gone into shock by now if you used a higher version since you had taken in too much energy and unleashed way past what your current body could handle at the moment"
"Still it shouldn't have been enough to make my body react this way, especially with the recovery" replied the blonde as he could feel his body begin to recover internally, but slowly.. Too slowly in fact, but it was better than being dead or crippled.
"Well perhaps next time you will listen to me and not try punching something as the pure potent energy of a bijuudama especially considering your body hasn't fully matured with the extra additions" the fox answered in a rebuking tone, restating the obvious to his reckless host.
With the heights Naruto wanted to reach after 3 years of intense training even with shadow clones was next to impossible considering the blonde had little to no talent a few years back and could barely control his chakra properly. Several modifications had to be made mostly by Naruto's supposed "Ally" to his body as he had to push himself, body and mind past a whole lot of limits time and time again, nearly killing himself in the process, much to Kurama's ire..
Even being an Uzumaki with abnormally large reserves and the Jinchuriki of the most powerful Bijuu, Naruto was supposed to be just a very powerful shinobi if he trained hard enough, perhaps god-like but not godly. It was thanks to his Ally coming into his life early enough and making some huge modifications to his body, though most were experimental, that he would be able to get past such a barrier in power in a short amount of time. Not just yet though, but very much on track..
The boy was powerful after 3 years and would only get more so as his body matures rapidly to adapt to all modifications and the abilities he had acquired in the 3 years. However he had been warned by his Ally to take it easy and step by step even while letting loose from time to time. Godly power was not something just any mortal could attain, especially while being reckless.
Hardwork wasn't enough, smart work and picking battles reasonably in order to stay alive and ahead of the game were key elements to achieve such a dream, a philosophy that his Ally almost forcefully instilled in him. Almost..
Even with years of hardened training on his emotions and personality, the blonde was as stubborn as ever...
"Its only a matter of time Kurama. I would like to enjoy my mortality while i still can, so a bit of recklessness isn't so bad. Though the result isn't always as good judging from the way my body is reacting now. Perhaps i need to cool off for a bit after this" was Naruto's thoughtful response as his body had almost recovered already, at least internally.
His outward appearance was still lacking at the moment, but it would do..
"I think you have more things to worry about as of now. You just woke the beast up Fully this time, and judging by the chakra coming off it, it isn't coming out to play" warned the Fox as the ground began to shake vehemently, causing cracks and making it begin to break open.
Getting up and leaping quite a distance away from the cracks quickly, Naruto could only watch with slightly widened eyes as the ground tore open, revealing the very beast he was hoping to face one on one as it roared in its full glory and height.
On the battlefield:
Hearing the familiar roar, almost everyone stopped fighting to look at the direction the roar came from, and what they saw made many of them widen their eyes stand still in fear.
It was the mighty and terrifying 3 tailed beast..
Unknown to many, Narutos two clones had already disappeared as their original would need as much concentration as necessary to unleash his next attack.
It was not like they couldn't remain in existence, just that their original was about to test something very experimental and risky.
By defeating Yagura, the war ends automatically and with how much damage he and his clones caused on the battlefield, they were no longer needed.
It was the grand finale...
Seeing the sanbi in person and this close made the blondes blood heat up in excitement as he ignored Whatever pain his body still felt as most of it had been numbed already.
"Finally what I have been waiting for" he whispered out loud with a smirk on his face. as he swallowed the remaining blood in his mouth, wiping the rest with his hand. Grabbing the bandages on his right arm, he tore them off completely, revealing his arm's pale color and a large array of seals on it, almost like his arm was heavily tattooed..
The designs were impressive but they were more than just for show since they had power explosive in them as he would need all the power he can get at this point since using sage mode again was a little out of the question for now.
He could still use it, but he didn't want to put too much of a strain on his body as have to be taken for medical treatment after this.. His body had too many secrets to be left in the hands of outsiders.
The Sanbi after getting accustomed to being let loose, set eyes on its target a distance away with it's single eye and began to gather an enormous amount of chakra into a single point in order to unleash a very familiar technique.
Though this time it's effect would be more devastating.
Naruto seeing this smirked the more as powerful winds began to pick up, debris flying all around as the fully powered bijuudama came into existence, it's size 3 times what the version 2 Cloak of Yagura had fired at him...
This was definitely not something he could punch especially while not in sage mode...
It was time to fight smarter and put an end to this before anymore destruction would be caused..
"Just finish this once and for all kit"
"I intend to"
Not wasting anytime, he drew his unused sword unsheathed it halfway as the seals on his arm began to spread, engulfing the blade and even onto the right side of his body, up to his face like a curse mark.
These seals had some stored up Natural energy in them, but specifically for very powerful and unique elemental jutsus.
A certain broody Uchiha wasn't gonna be happy if he discovered his ultimate technique was about to used even better than he could, especially since he didn't need the rain for this.
Feeling the amount of heated air pressure available which was created from his fire techniques and the explosions with the hot air even going up and evaporating into the atmosphere, the blonde concentrated his chakra flow with that of his surroundings into a single point and called..
"Assemble"
Immediately, Sparks of lightning from the ground began to form circling the landscape as they all went up high into the air and concentrated into a single point, causing a bit of a thunderstorm and consecutive lightning strikes up in the clouds..
"Come forth"
A very powerful Lightning bolt struck from above into the concentrated point of his his created lightning sparks, combining together to create a new form of lightning as it took it's shape..
Rocks were destroyed, the ground was cracking, debris picked up as the mini thunderstorm he created began to wreck havoc on the surrounding while he prepared his jutsu
Feeling the Sanbi about to unleash the Bijuudama, Naruto opened his eyes, revealing a bright glowing right eye with a cross sign as the seals also glowed but pure white, even the ones on his arm and blade of his sword.
Then unsheathing the sword completely, raising it up into the air and called again..
"Descend"
Coming at him at the speed of a thosudandth of a second, the highly concentrated lightning shaped bolt struck his blade, the potent energy engulfing him completely, causing another huge crater and blowing up the surroundings as he felt himself fully charged with power.
However it was a quite painful for the time being..
"I hope you know what you are doing?" said the Kyubbi casually as at this point he wasn't gonna bother anymore.
All this was within a few seconds as the Sanbi having created it's attack ate the beast ball, ready to unleash it in one full powered blast.
Just as it was a about to unleash it, Naruto had already crossed the distance faster than ever before, destroying everything in his path as the lightning encasement enhanced his speed and destructive force several fold even if just for a moment.
This was dangerous as if not fully and properly controlled, the lightning energy could vaporize him inside out or in the better but still bad case, completely destroy his chakra network and blow up everything around a several mile radius.
Thanks to his mastery over natural energy and using the absorption seals as well as his sword as conductors he was able to control the power, and now he was about to unleash it full force in a less concentrated and more explosive manner.
Truly it was overkill, but he wasn't taking any chances and besides he needed an opportunity to test run all his jutsus and abilities before even bigger fights. This was one of those times.
Getting In front of the Sanbi as it opened it's mouth about to release the Bijuudama in slower motion since Naruto's perception was at extremely heightened levels, he unleashed the the lightning technique as his entire body was engulfed in a bright flash of blue, a giant ethereal armor armor of lightning encasing him with a much bigger blade of lightning in hand.
He was replicating a secret Uchiha technique at that moment, but on a much smaller scale.
"Ashura, Susanoo's thunder bolt"
Clashing with with the Bijuudama, the world went up In the brightest flash ever as shockwaves of magnitude proportions were sent through most of the entire landscape for miles., covering every where in heavy dust and smoke.
BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!
Everyone was gonna feel this one.
After the explosion:
The biggest crater ever made by a lightning strike, giant clouds of steamy smoke from the ground as well as burnt tress were all visible as the landscape once again had been reshaped by a single attack, and by the same person. Though this time it was to take down a much bigger fish.
Standing above the now defeated and Mizukage was Naruto fully alive and in one piece, though the upper part of his were completely clothes torn and his pants mostly torn as well but still on.
Standing in a victorious pose, Naruto closed his eyes as he basked in the glory and peace of victory, becoming one with nature again as he began to feel the emotions of everyone far off on the battlefield to know if they were still alive and it seemed a lot of them were and the battle had stopped considering the mighty dust cloud caused by his deadliest Lightning jutsu at the moment that most have overshadowed them.
He didn't fail after all, and most importantly, the war had been won and his team were still alive.
"I know what you are looking for Kit and yes your potential mate is still alive. Or should i say one of them"
Naruto's response, nothing!
He didn't need to say anything because it was true, or at least the looking for part, not the mate part. Though he was sure he had a lot of questions to answer when he returned to his team, especially from her after their last conversation.
Until then he needed his body to recover and finish up here.
The seals on his right arm were back to normal, but less darker and less noticeable than before considering they needed to recharge.
His athletic build was on full display with his right side much paler in color than his left side, though time his hair was fully grey and his right eye fully white with his left still it's usual blue. His body was okay, however he needed time to heal a little faster and cover up the changes with his body before returning to the others.
There would be too many questions asked if anyone saw him like this.
He took a very big risk with that last attack, but it paid off as Naruto had fully mastered, no not mastered, more like tamed the lightning element just as he had done with wind when adding it to the Rasengan.
"Yeah it was quite a risk you took as you could have fried your insides, but at least your training seems to have paid off. Just desist from taking any risks for now as there is till much to do"
"You know me well Kurama, i won't stop taking risks, but for now i do as you suggest. My point has already been made to all who need to know it" Naruto finished thoughtfully and with a satisfied sigh..
He had not only mastered natural energy, but also it in its purest and most potent form such as raw lightning, even being able to generate it from heat without any rain or initial thunderstorm.
Sasuke would be very jealous indeed.
All those fire techniques imbued with senjutsu into the surroundings was all done with this particular technique in mind for him to attempt and to unleash when the bigger beast came out or if their spectator showed himself.
Aside from ending the war and defeating Yagura in his full Bijuu mode, the latter for his own personal agenda. His last technique was the end goal for him as he had just beaten another milestone in the history of Milestones since he could now use raw lightning as a source of recharging Sage mode even just for a moment, though with a bit of help from fuinjutsu and his chakra blade, but who cares?
If a certain spectator was watching, of which he most certainly was, then he would now know that Naruto Uzumaki was not to be messed with. It was a pity he couldn't use the technique on the person as he was kinda hoping for a brief confrontation so he could kill him as this attack had necessary properties to deal with this person's peculiar abilities.
That didn't mean he no longer had anymore tricks up his sleeve in case there was a confrontation.
Still it was a pity...
Cough! cough!
Looking down, he could see the short kage was still alive though judging from his very slow heart beat as well as his heavily disheveled and bleeding form which buried under a rock, the man was most likely about to die.
Cough! the man did again as he spat out quite a lot blood with heaving breaths afterwards as his form went back to motionless.
It was a pitiful site indeed. He did have to give it to the 3 tails as its turtle shell was very strong indeed for the man to survive such a phenomenal blast of power even with the explosion of its own tailed beast ball in its mouth.
It was brief, but considering the techniques name, Naruto had created an armor resembling a sacred Uchiha technique with lightning and had executed a much less powerful version of a certain Sage's dead son ultimate technique, but with a sword.
Not even the actual Ultimate defence of the Uchiha would survive that blast considering it was natural energy at its purest form, not just a lightning blast. It was impressive that the man was still alive after that, though he was sure if he used anymore advanced techniques both the 3 tails and Yagura would be dead, like for real, actually dead even for the 3 tails.
"But you wouldn't have survived at this level as well. Killing a tailed beast is no joke and its something even i wouldn't recommend you try even with a stronger body at least until our most forbidden version when we are combined together is resurrected. But of course you have other plans for it, don't you kit?" Inquired the fox knowingly.
To an ordinary person, in fact anyone from the last thousands of years except a select few would understand what the fox had just said, especially about the ressurection of their forbidden version part. But Naruto did just as any bijuu would and even his "Ally" considering he was the one to educate the blonde about ancient history, far back from the beginning of chakra.
Kurama would never admit it, but the "Parasite" as he called it was almost as old as he was and seemed to be even more knowledgeable and that was saying something considering bijuu were very ancient. It was the more reason why he didn't trust this person, or thing..
"So... you W-won h-huh" Cough! "T-that's quite something inde-ed as i have never lo-st e-especially in that fo-rm" Cough! Cough! continued Yagura with a slight bitter laugh, even while he was choking on his blood.
It was true, at least mostly true since the man had never lost mostly because people were afraid to challenge him. Even that one time with the Akatsuki, it was more of a stalemate than a loss since he got one of them and didn't use his full bijuu mode at the time. Though he had to admit that those black flames were really something indeed.
However Yagura lost the moment a certain Uchiha locked eyes with him, one that still manipulated him till this day, until now as he was dying.
That bastard!
Looking up at his opponent with slightly opened eyes, even with his body heavily protesting, Yagura had to ask an all important question even though he had a pretty good idea what the answer was.
To think a brat could defeat him at his most powerful, something not even Itachi Uchiha and the mighty Kisame could do was laughable. But he had to give it to the boy, as he now knew he never did stand a chance against him.
"W-what now kid?" he asked weakly
"Now" Naruto began emotionlessly. "You die" Picking his sword from being stuck in the ground, he was about to cut the man down finally, until the man spoke.
"Do me a favor?"
Naruto just remained still.
"Kill the bastard who manipulated me into this war" Yagura requested with slight anger, and in acceptance of his death.
Naruto lower lip quirked up at that as he replied. "Don't worry, you will do that yourself soon enough" With that said he descended the blade unto the man to finish him.
The kage felt no pain as his head was quickly severed from his body, causing quite a spectacle of blood to splash and making a very powerful energy of red to explode from the dead man's body.
It was time for phase two.
The Akatsuki weren't the only ones with an agenda for the bijuus and their plans had just taken a major hit with this development.
The real game had just begun...
Somewhere far away:
"So he's finally done it huh" said a cloaked figure as the person came out of a cave.
"Did you doubt him?" inquired a deep voice deep within the large cave
The hooded figure thought about the question for a moment and then responded. "No"
"Then there is no problem is there, unless of course you have something else you wanted to be done in mind" replied the deep voice suspicion.
It never did trust this person to begin with and so did it's significant other.
"Suspicious of me are you?"
"It would be foolish of me not to be. For someone who has existed as long as you, I wouldn't be surprised if you had a more sinister agenda at play. My significant other did the moment it was imprisoned within the boy, and still does even with the changes in their relationship"
"So why the suspicion then if we are both the same?"
Upon making comparison the figure could feel a great deal of bloodlust coming from it's companion as it's eyes opened and from the shadows glowing red eyes appeared.
The figure wasn't fazed, not in the slightest.
"Do not make the mistake of comparing us. We might have similar backgrounds and lived just as long, but WE are not the same. The boy knows of my intentions as I can't hide anything from him, but you on the other hand can hide yours just you have been doing with your previous hosts. Am I wrong?"
Underneath the hood the figure smiled a little especially at the last statement, but not a good smile.
"So you know huh. I suppose your other half is aware as well?"
"Yes. But don't worry, we haven't told the boy"
"Why?"
"What good is a god when he's not wise enough to spot deceit? Let the boy figure things out for himself as he's supposed to be the key player after all in this game you are playing" replied the voice from the cave nonchalantly as it closed it's eyes.
If the boy was supposed to be smart and insightful, then he would eventually figure out that this so called ally of his was playing him.. A powerful being without great insight was as equal as a Genin with unlimited power but didn't know how to use it..
The hooded figure smiled again.
It was about to respond until his companion Interrupted with one lazy eye open.
"However, he will eventually figure you out and when he does considering how much power he already has, especially with the loyal followers he has gathered. it paused for a moment for a dramatic effect.
"You are fucked" with that said it went back to it's slumber just it as always had been, even before it was released from it's last host, only to be chained here in this Kami forsaken cave, on such an abandoned island no less. Well abandoned but not unknown since this figure knew about it, and even the boy as well, though the latter was a secret to the figure in question.
The look on his face when the boy reveals all that he knew about his ulterior agenda.
That would definitely be something...
As regards it being chained, it couldn't say the same for the other half ever since the boy started a relationship with it.
A human having a civil relationship with the very representation of hatred.. Who would have thought?
"Just remember, I have your life in my hands and if you want to see your other half again, you better be quiet about what you know and be a good pet. Because no one will stop me from fulfilling correcting my mistake all those years ago. Absolutely nothing" Finished the figure with a dark tone this time considering the threat he had just received.
The boy might be powerful, but all his power was all thanks to him as an ally. Even with the recent fuck up by one of its clones by revealing he could access the memories of the blonde, his plans were still on play.
The boy was just like a cow being fattened up for a bigger slaughter, just like Zetsu was doing with the so called Madara..
With that said, the figure disappeared into the ground as it's chakra vanished completely.
Opening it's eye again, the voice spoke to itself.
"You have no idea what is coming for you. Your underestimation of the boy will be your downfall, I can guarantee it"
Upon finishing that, it went back to it's slumber again, leaving the outside world to continue as it pleased.
When it finally got back with it's half, all what had been missed will be shared between them.
Kumogakure:
"Raikage sama, you summoned me" said respectfully a beautiful blonde female wearing a typical cloud ninja garb.
Turning around to face his subject, the dark skinned bulky man with his ever annoying Kage hat decided to address his subordinate. "I believ you are aware of the rumors being spread about a boy from the leaf causing havoc in the mist, are you not?" asked the man, almost like he was demanding an answer
Getting a response in form of a nod, the man continued. "I am not one for rumors, but if they are true then we have a problem, one that i will require you to assist with solving"
A little confused and mostly curious, she asked. "In what way exactly?"
Being thoughtful for a moment, the man responded after a brief pause. "I will need you to track this boy down and eliminate him if you can. We can't have just anyone from the leaf with that kind of rumored power alive. I believe that's not too much to ask is it?" he finished, outrightly challenging the blonde woman.
Straightening herself and having a straight face, she responded. "Of course not Raikage sama. Say the word and it shall be done"
Studying the woman for a moment, the man couldn't help but be a little proud as she was one of the Cloud's brightest stars as a shinobi even with the initial animosity considering she was a jinchuriki.
People feared what they didn't understand and the young lady was a victim of that fear, but she took the challenge head on and proved herself. However even with her exceptional abilities, a great section of his forces and the people didn't have the same sentiments as he did, that was why he made sure to shield his brother away from it by isolating him.
It was biased, but Bee was his brother and only family left, she on the other hand was just his responsibility on a professional basis, even if he did care for her a little more.
The village however came first before her, hence the assignment.
"Good. We will wait for this mist saga to end then if he still survives and the rumors persist about his strength, then you will swoop in to track and eliminate him. So i need you to be in top shape and ready for when i call, understood"
"Yes Raikage sama" she responded with enthusiasm.
Finally a challenge and a chance to get away for a while" she thought. She loved her village, but a times it felt like she was being choked especially with some of the animosity.
Seeing as she was dismissed, she took her leave until AI stopped her.
"Yugito!"
She turned around to face the man.
"Make sure you train very well as the news about this Akatsuki group is getting more rampant and i heard that they are hunting jinchuriki so i want you to be prepared just in case you might encounter them when the time comes"
"Hai, Raikage sama"
"Dismissed" the man said as he was about to go back to what all Kages called the deadliest mission ever in the history of Kages.
Paperwork...
He didn't even notice when the blonde lady left the room as he grumbled under his breath words like "stupid" and "i will destroy you".
"It seems both the kitten and i will get to meet this mysterious boy soon enough huh, Kurama kun. I can't wait" said a voice in Yugito's head quietly.
Far off into the land of water:
"What are you gonna do about the nine tails after this? It seems whatever plans you had with the Mizukage have failed because of him" said the black half of Zetsu.
"Nothing for now" replied an orange masked individual.
"Nothing! That's strange coming from you" said the white half in surprise
"I agree, its not typical for you to make such a statement. Is the boys power serving as deterrent for your momentary action?" questioned the black half with a narrowed eye.
In other words, "are you afraid" was what being asked.
Pain not trusting him fully and now the possibility of cold feet, black zetsu didn't like this as he was sure its creator wouldn't as well. His supposed creator that is who was currently dead.
The masked individual knew what the black half was insinuating, but chose to ignore it.
Was he scared? No.
Was he cautious? Yes, especially since he didn't know where the boy got his power from and how powerful he truly was.
3 years wasn't enough time to grow this powerful at least in the man's opinion. Perhaps for proper planning and its execution, yes, but not actual raw power like this with the possibility of even more.
Yagura's death was nothing, though the loss of the 3 tails however was the major issue as it would take some years to reform properly.
Good thing Zetsu was able to absorb some remnants of its chakra in the surroundings even with how minuscle it was.
He would have to keep a close eye on the boy. A very close eye..
Like father like son as they say. The boys father stopped him once, and the now the son wanted to on an even greater scale.
He won't be beaten twice.
"Report your findings to Pain as well as the chakra you were able to absorb. I will be meeting up with him soon" he ordered as began to vanish in his ever familiar swirl.
Seeing its dismissal, Zetsu also made its leave as they both went into the ground, leaving no trace behind.
A/n: The time for Naruto to go all out or reveal his full power hasn't arrived yet as there are some limitations he has on his current Body, one that is constantly evolving the more he fights.The limitations are necessary because in the Canon until Naruto got six paths chakra from Hagoromo, he was still just the Kyubbi's Jinchuriki, though with the addition of senjutsu and chakra of the other beasts.
However he won't be getting any help from Hagoromo in this story so he needs to undergo some modifications together with intense training inorder to reach god level, and as for whose cells he has attached to his body, well you will find out later.
Right now he is powerful, but still not as his peak just yet and as for his senjutsu, well just consider the one he used here as just a little more powerful than the one he used to fight Nagato, but it's still the basic format.. He still has more powerful ones up his sleeve and no, it isn't toad, snake or a hybrid senjutsu. Just raw power of nature and as for who taught him, I have hinted at it already..
So I touched on Naruto's mysterious ally more in this chapter and as for who it is and who it was talking to in the cave, well that also will be revealed later.
More on Naruto's relationship with Yugao will be touched on next chapter, but more with her as he and Yugito won't meet until a little later. The possibility of adding two others is still in my mind, but not guaranteed as I am not a fan of harems.
Also some of you were expecting him to maybe use woodstyle here or maybe even a Sharingan, but like I stated, Jinchuriki's aren't do hard to defeat as the only one in Canon who was very strong aside from Naruto and them Obito/Madara, was killer bee. So yeah he doesn't need any of the 2 to defeat Yagura as he could even defeated the man with just fuinjutsu. The fight was only made this long because he just wanted to show off and test somethings, however woodstyle will come much later as that is where a whole lot of his advanced senjutsu forms are derived from.
As for his lightning technique, consider it an adaptation of the Kirin, but a more refined version as it was amplified by Natural energy which made it easier to create. As for the name, Susanoo means god of seas and thunderstorms, so yeah his technique isn't so far off the mark from the result.
Besides there is a lot where these techniques came from as I have revealed both ASHURA and SUSANOO, more like a variation of the latter anyway.
