Good evening!

Wonderful day, isn't it? I'm currently writing this on my chair again. And I AM getting closer to the present time, as I am writing this. Since nothing has happened at the time of writing, I'm getting closer to the present day.

Life has been going slowly so far. I've yet to experience autumn, or even winter, In this weird land.

And yes, I still haven't figured out where on earth I am.

Also, I'm still getting nightmares... Makes me think if someone is messing with my dreams... Gonna test that theory later, looking forward to it.

Now! To address a piece of advice I was given:

- Too many I's.

Ah, I didn't realize that. I'll try to restrict myself more on the usage of it, and to actually use other means of starting a sentence.

(A/N: I'm still trying to write more words per chapter, but I'm just not used to that it seems. Mainly because I like to keep things seperate whenever I write. But I will set a goal of writing atleast 10000 words for a chapter.

I'm also lacking a bit in creativity it seems, but I do try. Also, I should point out a thing here that I usually don't like including other characters, mainly because I always think that I might mess it up by a lot. So writing this here is a means to ease myself into this situation.

I have many ideas floating around in my head about other games and such as well, but often times I think it's idiotic, so it doesn't come to fruition. I can even list some of the ideas story ideas I had in my head, like crossovers and such. I'll mainly list my touhou related ideas here for now:

* Guns, Gore Cannoli; Touhou Project crossovers - One about Vinnie Cannoli ending up in Gensokyo by crashing the UFO there, instead of a desert near a town called Roswell, bringing his mafia-related antics with him. The other one being of the Touhou cast reacting to the game (Mainly to notable sections of the games and cutscenes.)

* Sunless Skies; Touhou Project crossovers - One about a sky-faring captain has ended up in the land of Gensokyo by accident, bringing British patriotism and wonderous tales along the way. The other one being a character from Touhou ends up in the Reach, at New Winchester.

* Volcanoids; Touhou Project crossover - Reimu and Marisa find themselves on an isolated volcanic island filled with robots. The volcano in the center about to erupt, until a drill ship nearby surfaced with a human operator and quickly pulled them inside the drillship to safety.

That's about all the ideas I could recall for now, I might have more later. Also, These author's notes are gonna be a rare thing from me, because I usually have not much to say. Now, on with the story.)

Morning, Unkown Time, Home base

I've been mainly doing some reading. I read quite a bit about building a house, which I plan to use the knowledge to better my fort and make it more homely.

While yes, surival was top priority, I had it covered for now. I could dedicate some time to learning, for the time being. I wanted to expand my hopefully temporary home for now, and I decided to start it off with digging out and supporting a main hub. The room that I use for sleeping in will be converted into a corridor.

The usage of the hub would be my new temporary room to sleep and store items in, until I could find a way to reliable light up the rooms, without using torches.

Which now comes into play blacksmithing and metalworking. I have basic knowledge about electricity and my plan is to use said knowledge to build a generator!

"How will you build it?! Do you even KNOW how a steam engine works?!" I hear you asking. Well, I do. But I won't go into the details of how a steam engine works, because it'd take too much time and quite frankly I'm bad at explaining.

But first, I need to build the hub. Then I'll build another room that will be someting I will call a Blacksmithing room ("You mean a forge, you belend?!" Yes! I forgot what it was!). But first making the hub an octagonal shape, because I plan to built more rooms in the future. (Wasn't sure what rooms at the time.) So I'll have doors on each of the sides for later use.

With a goal set in mind, I went back up to the surface to cut down some trees. (Like 5 trees, because these bastards are THICK!) To carve out planks and supports. I needed something to temporarily support the roof while I was digging (didn't want the roof to cave-in on me, Y'know?) and also needed supports in general, for when the room was finished.

Only problem was gonna be making an octagonal roof. (I should say ceiling, shouldn't I? But I keep saying roof, because that's what it was gonna be. It was gonna be a roof keeping the dirt up.) I knew how I would built a triangular roof on a rectangular room, but try to build an triangular roof on an octangular roof. It's possible, don't get me wrong, but it probably involves a lot of trial and error!

Well, after dragging a few trees by hand back to my base (This fat fuck was gonna get RIPPED!), I realized I had forgotten to actually DO my daily activity of fishing and water purifying. So I went back to the lake, in-order to deal with the little problem of living.

In total, I believe I wasted 6 hours. (Don't quote me on this, I have no means of telling time exactly and my sense of time was going out of whack.) afterwards I finally began cutting up the trees on my workbench and carving them into shape. Mainly planks, but also support beams, for the hub room.

I did also realize that my crude wooden workbench was getting all sorts of scratches and such. I needed to make myself a newer, sturdier workbench that would be located INSIDE the base, for future use. By the time I was done, I moved the materials next to the marked tree, because it was night-time soon.

I went back to my base and started planning yet again... Basically, I was thinking "Where will I get the stone for making a Furnace?..." Until an image of a mountain came to mind. "Oh yeah..." I thought in realization, "That mountain!... But I need to plan a proper expedition then... Maybe I could find coal and iron as well?" And so, became my long-term goal of doing an expedition to the mountain...

But for now, I went to sleep. Needed to continue building my hub room, Y'know? What's the point of getting materials, if I can't use them because I don't have room?

And with those thoughts, I went to sleep...

NEW DAY, DIFFERENT SHIT!

I woke up to what I assume to be morning (Can't hear birds chirping, thankfully.) And was ready to take on another day of work. I went to the ladder to exit, only to hear unexpected visitors. Two of them, judging by the voices. Both female. One sounding annoyed and curious, while the other sounded excited and curious...

I opened the hatch slowly and carefully, to see who was snooping around and-.

Oh, shit fuck. It's the damn scary-ass witch... AND they brought a friend.

Thankfully, they didn't notice me. I assume they were questioning why there's materials and a worn workbench here. (I assume, because I can't understand jackshit what they are saying!)

Oh, Right. I should describe who the other girl is, shouldn't I? Basically, she was a girl with a red dress, red shirt with white sleeve things, yellow tie and a red ribbon on her hair. She also had a stick with intricate, yet simple paper design at the tip of said stick. Two, to be precise.

Now I was REALLY FUCKING SCARED by this point. If that girl is as strong as the witch next to her, I can assume I'm in DEEP SHIT! So I did the most sensible thing and...

Slowly closed the hatch, so they wouldn't notice.

What?... I'm not going out there to deal with those two, now am I?! I don't have a deathwish! Far from it! I wanna live, not die! And it's completely logical to hide like a coward!

And so, I hid for what I assume 10 minutes (felt like it took forever, but logic dictates that it would have taken less time.) and checked again. This time, those two weren't here. I sighed in relief, until I realized the implications and groaned. What was going through my mind was "Great... My base has become a spot of interest. Hopefully more don't find my base, or god forbid, find the entrance."

And so, I began working on making more building materials for the hub. I was still wary about this recent development, so from time to time I checked my surroundings. I never felt that I was truly alone, I felt like someone was keeping an eye on me... It made me even more paranoid, to be honest. To the point of almost forgetting to do my daily stuff and-.

DEER! THERE'S A DEER THERE! I have no weapons to hunt! So i guess the axe will do!

And precisely, I threw the axe at the deer that I spotted, hoping to use my axe as a temporary tomahawk... And it worked! I hit the deer in the leg! It couldn't move so well anymore!

I took this as a sign to do the finishing blow and hit the deer straight in the neck with the axe, killing it. I had provisions now! I just needed to dry them!

I began working on a drying rack quickly, made out of simple sticks, to dry the meat off the deer. It took about 5 minutes, and I began cutting the deer up. cleaned the meat up and hung it to dry on the rack.

"Got provisions for the expedition now," I thought. As I began working more on making the materials for the hub AND the forge room.

At the end of the day, I managed to craft enough to finally begin building the hub room, properly fit it and more. But I didin't make enoug materials to build the froge room. But, that room was gonna use stone anyway, because I don't want my base to be setnon fire while I work (doesn't mean I can't make temporary supports.)

So, I just went back in the base and-. Fuck. Forgot to eat... "I'll do it tomorrow." I said to myself and I promptly went back to sleep.

New day, different time.

I woke up yet again. My first thought was getting food and water... So basically doing my daily neccesities. At that thought, I realized something... "I need to go take a shit." And promptly went up to the surface.

Thankfully, those two from yesterday weren't there anymore. So I went a tree, but not the marked tree, dug a hole with my axe and did my business... Afterwards, I went to the lake to clean my dirty hands and to catch lotsa fish! Of course, I went to get water to boil as well, to make drinking water. But also to prepare... for the expedition to the mountain.

After doing my basic needs, I went back to base and continued work on building a hub. Each side of the hub was gonna be 3 meters in width. The height was gonna stay the same as the corridor, but I was still gonna have a sloped roof. the diameter of the room was gonna be about 7 meters, or so. (Can't check really. not a human calculator, am I? And I'm too lazy to figure it out through the Pythagorean equation.)

At a certain point, I had to install a temporary support beam in the middle to keep the roof stable while I was working.

How I built the room was thus:

- Horizintal planks on the walls.

- Support beams wedged into the corners of the room, keeping the planks in place.

- Carefully digging up the roof, so I could wedge support beams.

- Placed a layer of curtain i stole to the roof, then placing planks.

- Wedging supports to keep the roof in place.

- Placed boards for the floor while cutting them into apropriate shape.

And done! A nice hub room. Only took two days! (Yes, I did skip some parts of my daily needs.) I installed doors and began working on the Forge room.

(To make understanding more simple, The door designated as an exit, will be called North. Do NOT confuse it with it actually being North. It's only used as a point of reference for the hub and fort. It has no corelation to the actual direction. I will mark the direction with F.D. which stands for Fort Direction, to distinguish the difference.)

I decided to have the Forge room at North - East (F.D.) But It will not be properly built yet, Until I can get my hands on stone and build stone walls and floor for the Forge. So for now, It will only be empty and have supports keeping the roof up.

I set to work on the preperation of the Forge, digging up the ground and placing supports (I STILL DON'T FUCKING REMEMBER WHERE I PUT THE DIRT!). It took a while, about another day, But the preperation was complete!

Now, I psyche myself up for my big goal: Getting stone and doing the expesition t the mountain. and I'll be damned , I WILL climb it and get my stone!

I wanted to transport as much stone as possible, so I needed to build a cart... I needed to cut down more trees and begin construction on the surface...

So began the construction of a rather ampitious project. I built two frames for two seperate carts, my plan was to attach two carts together and use them for more storage. It took well over an hour.

I then began setting the wheels, The diameter was half a meter for each wheel. I added planks to the frame, double layered it even, making it harder to be attacked.

Finally, I added a brake lever, and a clever little mechanism to make the cart move forward. It wasn't exactly efficent, but it helps the cart move forward. I also added steering and boards for armouring up the driver's seat.

Once the body was done, I began accesorizing. I added a wooden Pilot to the front (Cow catcher, for better understanding) Added pits of useless items, making it bang and rattle. It was to make the cart more intimidating. While it doesn't have an engine, You'd think it does by the noise it will make.

After several days of working, It was finally finished! I called it... "Driftwood"... (Yeah, I'm not very clever, am I?)

Since the cary was finally done, I needed to now focus on the most important thing... Preparing to launch my expedition. I needed to have enough water and food to last several weeks, (Just in case) So I spent the entire day foraging and started even hunting. I also filtered water, made more ducttape pots and used it to store more water. I dried the meals and finally, FINALLY!

I was ready... To take on the expedition to the top of the mountain.

The Expedition Day...

I got up early, and readied myself to leave the comforts of my base for a while. I packed my tools, food and water.

I could safely bet that it would take severaldays for me to get up high enough to the mountain with the cart, 5 days at most. I theorized that my cart would be able to go 5 Km/h, If I constantly keep up with pumping the mechanism that moves it forward.

Since everything was set, I got on the cart... It's two damn wagons now, isn't it? Shouldn't I be saying WAGONS instead of carts?... The answer is, yes I should.

Anyway, I got on the front wagon driving seat, and began to pump the mechanism ti move forward.

To say I was excited was an understatement. I was over the damn moon! It's hard to move, yeah, but It's moving! That is a job well done!

I steered the wagon towards the mountain and so begins my small journey...

- - - DAY ONE - - -

You know, It's quite broing when you are only driving... And lonely...

Atleast I'm getting quickly to the mountain. The part I'm worried about is getting the wagons UP the mounatin. The trees were passing by, as I kept driving towards the mountain.

So, I did what any sensible person would do...

" ~Safe and sound at home again, let the waters roar, Jack.~"

I sang while driving. It helps to keep rhythm.

" ~Long we've tossed on the rolling main, now we're safe ashore, Jack. ~"

I'm certain that I'm horrid at singing, but I didn't bloody care. I knew I was getting attention from this, But again, I didn't care.

" ~ Don't forget yer old shipmate, faldee raldee raldee raldee rye-eye-doe!… ~"

The song's name is "Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate", by the way. The parts of the wagon are also in rhythm of the song, So that's nice.

" ~ Since we sailed from Plymouth Sound, four years gone, or nigh, Jack. ~"

At least I'm scaring the damn birds away... Annoying little pricks...

" ~ Was there ever chummies, now, such as you and I, Jack? ~ "

It's surprisingly flat ground to get to the mountain, I'm honestly suprised. I've been singing for a while now, but I still haven't reached the mountain. Though I can see the slope of the mountain now...

" ~Long we've tossed on the rolling main, now we're safe ashore, Jack. ~"

Even though.there's lots of trees... It's still gonna take a long ass while to get the wagons up there.

" ~ Don't forget yer old shipmate, faldee raldee raldee raldee rye-eye-doe!… ~"

... I got bored with the song...

The wagon continues to rattle, as i drive it forwards. There's probably an easy way of getting up the mountain, but god damn I didn't find any!...

This really is taking a while... Atleast I can sleep inside the wagons during night.

Speaking of night, It's gettinf dark already. Seriously. I've been driving fir several hours now, and I can only guess I'm up 1/5-th of the mountain...

- - - DAY TWO - - -

Well, I continue pumping to keep the cart moving forward, my arms are tired as ALL FUCK!

Think of doing well over thousands of push-up with weight on your back, and you get the picture.

Weirdly, I see a lot of frogs... Of course, I am considerete as all hell...

"Move out of the way! Coming through!"

Yeah, I was warning them, so that they don't get hurt.

Mind you, I don't care about the frogs themselves. I cared more about not ruining the damn wheels of the wagons.

Though I did come across the sight of frozen frogs... Got a chuckle out of me, but I decided "what the heck? Why not?" And took some to heat up...

Yeah, It makes no sense, come to think of it. But then again, whenever I saw a bird hit a window, I immediately get the urge to pet it, so you know... (Probably because of the things I've done in the past as a child).

I just realized, if i need to provide a name, I should provide a fake name. Mainly because I don't want to suffer from giving my real name in the future.

Oh, shit. The forest is clearing up. I can do the ultimate move and use a high place to scout. But it's also turning night time... "Oh, I could do enough to get to the clearing!" was what I was thinking, so I pressed on.

My entire body was sore at this point, I genuinely feel like shit. But that didn't stop me pushing forward!

I drove on and on, 'till finally... I reached the edge. I pressed on for a bit, and the pulled in the brake.

I get out of the wagon and stare at the land in awe... Until I spotted a group of houses... At the bottom of the mountain... And it was closed to my base than this place...

"OH, YOU MOTHERFU-!"

Needless to say... I was fucking pissed. "HOW THE FUCK DID I NOT SEE THAT?! IT CAN LITERALLY BE SEEN BY THE DAMN LAKE! IS MY EYESIGHT THAT SHIT?! OR AM I THAT MUCH OF A DUMBASS?!" I roared, not yelled, but roared. I was GENUINELY angry...

I went to sleep pissed off that day...

- - - DAY THREE - - -

I wake up in my front wagon, still pissed off. Like, COME ON! How did I miss that?! And why!? Why am I such a stickler to staying in one area!?

Well, the little temper tantrum aside, I got a lot more info now atleast. And now since it's day, I have more visibility available. So I decided to be sensible and take notes of the village...

Hang on... Are those buildings... influenced by eastern culture?...

Wait... Oh fuck... Mountainous region. Weird forests. BAMBOO!? Different language...

I'm somewhere in Eastern Asia!... Don't tell me I'm in china, or god forbid North Korea!?...

Nah, North Korea is in too much of a soviet condition.

But where the fuck am i?!...

Well, I'm not freezing my balls off, so it's not Russia. It COULD be China, but my geography isn't that great to confirm... Only thing that makes sense is if I was in...

Japan...

"Oh, what a load of bollocks..." I groaned out, because Japan has always been annoying to me. Now having to end up here and survive for a month?... Fucking bull...

After my little realization and episode, I went into the driver seat of the wagon and began driving a bit more upwards. I did it for half a day, 'till I decided to stop the wagon and get off of it, so that I could find a goid spot to mine some ores and-.

"Oh... That's convenient..." Well, It is. There's an iron ore deposit right there. So, I set up camp for today and began mining chunks of Iron for the first wagon.

Also, using a plane axe as a pick is difficult as all hell! Just not used to it! But I did persist and It took two days, but I finally filled the first wagon up with IRON!

There wasn't anything eventful for me to report... The few frogs I took to warming up are gone too...

So I stayed the final day here and was planning to move upwards, due to my curioisity.

- - - DAY FIVE - - -

My original assumption of it taking a couple of days to reach the top was apparently way off.

I began driving again, until I realized I needed to apply a LOT more force to the movement mechamism. Each push PAIRLY managed to move the thing forwards, but by my name, I will not be defeated! I may be a lot slower now, But I will get to the top!

The weight of the raw iron ore in the wagon, makes the whole thing groan like a small ship on water. But I was determined to get to the top. I could just get the stone from the top while enjoying the view.

It's kind of surprising that I'm managing to pull this off. At this rate, I have only one more day to get to the top.

But in the meantime, I will continue driving the wagons up this damn mountain...

Anywho, I continued driving, 'till I had to take a brake, because I was too damn tired. I just set the brake, and slept at the back wagon.

- - - DAY SIX - - -

... You know how I said I had about two weeks worth of rations?...

Well, I lied. I just ran out of rations.

So now I was REALLY determined to get to the damn top. As in, It was like dealing with the biggest, pettiest (Is that the right word?) revenge. I just HAD do to it.

I'm running on fumes now, but I don't give a shit. I'm getting to the top. So I decided to sing to keep my spirits up.

"Oh, the year was 1778"

"How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now"

"A letter of marque came from the King"

"To the scummiest vessel I've ever seen"

The ricketing and groaning wood is really adding to the song. It just keeps me going.

"God damn them all!"

"I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold!"

"We'd fire no guns, shed no tears!~"

"But I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier!"

"The last of Barrett's Privateers!"

Apparently a man can do so much while singing. But I will be merciful and skip a bit of the journey, because there was nothing note worthy, besides my horrid singing... (Unless it is wanted, of course.)

Now finally, I reached the peak. I turned the wagons around and I set the brake, Tired as all balls and got to work on carrying the stone to the back wagon.

After several painful hours of working, I filled the back wagon enough to call it a job well done. I decided to rest one more day, before heading back...

- - - RETURN DAY - - -

I woke up hungry and thirsty. My rations were already depleted, so I had no meal for now.

The winds are cold, biting. My fingers feel frozen. I never imagined I could get this cold. I have no means of drinking or anything. So my best course of action was to finally return to base.

I climbed up onto the driver's seat, pulled on the brake lever and...

It's stuck. The lever is stuck.

I wiggle the lever a bit to get it unstuck, but that didn't work.

I applied a bit of pressure on the lever... Still stuck.

Finally, I was WRENCHING the DAMN lever, when suddenly...

*SNAP*

Oh, that wasn't a camera taking a picture, or the cracking of fists...

That dreaded sound was the brake lever snapping off...

You know that feeling?... That feeling when you smash the tv with a remote?... That feeling when you brake mom's precious vase?... "Great Regret", Was it?...

I was feeling that right now...

Almost instantaneously, the wagons began to pick up speed, turning he ride down a mountain from a level of "A nice walk in a forest" to "The whole SFM short called "End Of The Line"."

The best way to summarize the feeling right now, is listening to... "Running With Pockets Full Of Meatballs" from the "Pizza Tower" GameOST.

I got several metric fuck-tons of ore and earth on both the wagons! AND I'M FUCKING GOING FULL SPEED DOWN HILL!

I swerve the wagons to dodge the incoming obstacles while shouting profanities.

The wagons take massive beatings from my reckless steering. I heard snaps and cracks from boths wagons, as I keep barreling down the mountain.

Suddenly, the wagons jump into the air...

I managed to land the wagons, but one of the wheels broke and popped off. By this point, the only think really keeping the wagons together are the frame and double-boarded walls.

Bits and pieces were falling off the wagon now, as the forest part of the mountain is getting closer.

(A/N: If you are listening to the soundtrack while reading this, 2:02 fits for the forest part.)

The wagon speeds quickly into the forest, As I begin shouting "OUT OF THE WAY! OUT OF THE WAY! THIS THING'S BRAKES ARE OUT!" While still dodging trees. Not perfect at all, because the wagons keep getting banged up from all the hits from the trees.

One of the wheels take a hit again, I assume, Because I heard a loud *SNAP* from the back. But it could very well be one of the boards being broken now.

More bits and pieces fall of the wagons. Parts get launched everywhere, as I continue swearing. The wagon continues speeding down...

Finally, the ground smoothens out, but the nearly broken wagons keep their speed.

(A/N: Good point to stop listening to the soundtrack now.)

But suddenly, the Pilot (Cowcatcher, for none of you who understood that.) got caught on something, broke, and FLUNG me into the air and flipping the carts.

"AAAAAAAA- Oof!" I landed on the ground

with a thud. I turned myself around to look up and I saw a large chunk of Iron Ore heading straight for me. I began to panic and yelling "No, no, No, NO, NO! AAUAAUAAGGHHH!"...

It was a SICKENING crunch... It landed on my leg, crushing and braking it...

I was yelling in deep pain for a while, but soon composed myself and lifted the large piece of Iron ore off of my leg and pulled myself out from under it...

I looked around and see the familiar sight of my base nearby. I dragged myself towards it, towards the hidden hatch. I wrenched it open and I climbed in...

I decided to take a rest in the corridor...

Well then... Now you know some ofbmy more... Unpleasant experiences in this god forsaken' place...

I don't really... Like to talk about it that much. So I will leave the story as is... I do plan on continuing, but today won't be that day...

I sometimes feel like I'm going insane from isolation... Please... Someone send help to my fort's location... It's located near the lake and the mountain, But not in between...

As always, This has been my sometimes wonderous tales...

Signing off...
