Sup guys, I am uploading this chapter from lovely Austin, Texas, at the RTX! I got Plushies of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang, and they are so cute! ^^ Yes, I am a guy, and I bought plushies of girls. NERD 4 LIFE!

BTW, also found out that someone put a lot of time in making a RWBY game. A demo was available at the convention, and it looks fantastic. The guy who made it is actually going to get help from Roosterteeth in developing the game. I think it's pretty incredible that Roosterteeth is going from making videos using video games to actually making video games.

So, yesterday, I went to the RWBY panel, and let me tell you, the first episode was worth the three hour wait. Actually sat close to Samantha Ireland, who did the voice for Nora Valkyrie in RWBY and Agent Connecticut from Red Vs. Blue. Never got the courage to ask her for an autograph, though. :(

Now, as much as I would like to bring in Penny, we still don't know what the f*** she is, so I am gonna wait for a few episodes of Volume 2 to come out before I add her in. Sorry, but I really don't want to add her in without knowing more of the character. And I just realized I pretty much did that with Cinder. To be fair, though, it is established that Cinder is a badass villainess, while Penny is more of an enigma.

All right, I'll shut up let you read the chapter.

Beacon Workshop, 8:30 a.m.

"Tails, are you doing alright?"

"I'm fine, Blake," the fox replied as he rubbed his eyes. He had been up all night trying to get a location for the next Chaos Emerald without success.

"You're working too hard," Blake said with concern. "You've hardly been out of the workshop. You need to relax."

Tails looked at the Faunus with tired eyes. "I know. I want to find Eggman's base because I think a Chaos Emerald might be in there. On the plus side, I am almost finished with building a new plane."

Blake looked at him with surprise. "Already? How?"

"Fortunately, I keep a file of the blueprints of the Tornado in my tablet. All it needs is some paint and a little help from you. If you don't mind, that is."

Blake laughed. "I think I can help you with that."

The two walked out of the workshop, only to run into Knuckles. The echidna was very excited about something. "Guys, I have some great news! Get everyone here, pronto!"

Soon, everyone was gathered around the echidna. "What's up, Knux?" asked Sonic.

"Well, you know that I've been trying to communicate with the Master Emerald for a few days now, right?"

"What's a Master Emerald?" asked Ruby.

"The Master Emerald is a large gem that is the controller of the Chaos Emeralds. It usually sits on Angel Island, which floats in the sky due to the power of the Master Emerald. At least when it's not stolen by Eggman or Rouge," said Tails.

"Hey, that was only once, and it really wasn't the whole Emerald, just pieces of it," defended the white bat.

"Anyway, last night, I was finally able to get in touch with Tikal, the echidna spirit who lives inside the Master Emerald. She in turn was able to contact our friends back on Mobius. They know that we are okay!"

Amy breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness, I was getting worried that no one at home knew of our situation. Is everyone all right?"

Knuckles grinned. "Yep, everyone is okay, and they are taking up the slack while we are gone. The Chaotix are guarding the Master Emerald, and the Babylon Rogues are helping out with police work and the occasional thieving from thieves. Cream and Cheese wish us luck, and they hope we come home safely."

"The Babylon Rogues are helping out with police work?" Sonic asked incredulously. "How did Tikal convince them to do that?"

"I wondered that too. When I asked, she simply said, 'With a great amount of difficulty.'"

"Okay, I think I'll just let that one stay a mystery. Did she say how we can get back home?"

"Well, to get back home, we need a large Chaos Control. So we will need all of the Chaos Emeralds to do that."

"That should be simple enough. We already have three of them," said Shadow.

Rouge groaned. "Why'd you have to jinx it?"

Forest of Forever Fall, 9:30 a.m.

The fact that the Forest of Forever Fall had red leaves all the time is a known fact. It is also a known fact that the Creatures of Grimm are attracted to the sweet sap generated by the trees.

However, as Metal Sonic ran away from Eggman's base of operations, he gleaned a new fact:

Surviving in this hostile world was going to be easy for a being like him.

"Hm hm hm… What is this? I sense the presence of Chaos Emerald," he thought to himself. "That idiot creator of mine had one near his base and hasn't even picked it up!"

Metal Sonic once again recalled his humiliating defeat at the hands of Sonic as he raced towards the signal. "First I'll deal with my meddlesome copy, then I'll destroy Eggman!"

Metal stopped at a clearing on a hill. His scanners indicated that the Emerald was close. "But where is it?!" he screamed in frustration. His frustration was interrupted by a warning from his sensors.

UNKOWN LIFE FORM DETECTED

Metal Sonic looked down and saw a large serpent slithering towards him. "Hm… It's not Sonic or Eggman, but it will do for now."

The King Taijitu started to curl around the robot hedgehog, fangs on both of its heads gleaming. As the black head struck, Metal Sonic jumped up and jabbed his hand into its skull, killing it. The white head, enraged by the loss of its dark half, quickly thrust itself and enclosed the metal hedgehog in its mouth. There was a bright light, and then the head of the giant snake vanished in a shower of fine red mist. Metal was undamaged, and he spotted a white glow in the ground.

Unconcerned by the fact that he had just destroyed one of the largest Creatures of Grimm in the forest with little effort, Metal Sonic plucked the white Chaos Emerald from the ground. His face showed no emotions, but somehow he managed to have a sinister look as he felt the power of the Chaos Emerald flowing through him.

"So… the Chaos Emeralds landed in this planet as well…" Metal thought to himself. "The good doctor probably miscalculated a Chaos Control… No matter. It should be very simple to get the others, even if Sonic and Eggman have acquired them. No one, not even these dark creatures, will be able to interfere with my plans! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Just to be clear, the next few chapters will not spoil the first episode. As Cinder put it in the first episode, (Which is also in the Volume 2 trailer, so I'm still not spoiling too much)
