AN: So I decided to try my hand at this category yet again, only this time, I promise to not delete my story if I get writer's block.

Every chapter title will be a song that I believe fits the chapter. If you have suggestions for songs that I should listen to, please please please let me know. I'm very open-minded.

Without further ado, enjoy!

Abby's age has been changed to 14. Fits better.

Name of the story has been changed, thanks to my lovely reviewer Lucie4512

Chapter Thirteen: "Give Your Heart A Break" by Anthem Lights (Cover)

"Wait, you want to do what?" Artemis asked while sitting in Dominic's lap. She was trying to beat him at his favorite game, Assassin's Creed. Needless to say, she was kicking his ass. Brutally. Roy was cheering her on, while Bryon watched and shook his head. Kaldur, Conner, and Dick were waiting for their turns, which wouldn't happen for a very long time. Dominic is the kind of guy to sit and play the game until the end, or until he's ready to break it. Which ever happens first. Megan, Zantanna, and Raquel were in the kitchen trying to cook something up with my mom and sister. Wally and my dad were in his study with Aunt Jo, discussing the case since it was still going. And I was watching everything going down while drawing costumes for my upcoming birthday bash.

"I'm having an Italian carnival theme for my party. Lolita costumes, masks, ribbons, etc."

"Why did you choose that theme?" Kaldur asked, looking up to talk to me. He's really polite, like he was taught by a king or something.

"Well, last year we lived in Italy; dad's work has us moving a lot. And we were there for carnival, which Tere fell in love with immediately. She's had this idea trolling around her head ever since."

"I do believe Kal had been talking to me, Bryon."

"I know."

"Rude!"

"What ever, you know you take for ever telling a story!" Bryon said. I grabbed a pillow and smacked him in the head, which made his head snap forward just a bit. He turned his head like an owl to glare at me, and to which he received another smack and my cackle of evil.

"Forgive me, dearest brother, if I like to tell stories!" I said, bowing quickly before jumping up and ducking his flying pillow.

"I swear, if you break something, I'll break you!" My mother shouted, stepping out of the kitchen to glare at us. I pointed at Bryon, who pointed at me, and then everyone pointed at me. I glared menacingly at them all, cackling evilly when my mother stepped back into the kitchen. I grabbed my sketch pad and quickly drew all the boys in Lolita dresses and long hair, and the girls in male costumes. I must say, the girls looked dapper while the boys looked gender confused. Especially since I kept their bodies and faces masculine. Hence why I was cackling so badly.

"Uh, Dom, should we be worried?" Dick asked, taking a step away from me. I couldn't stop laughing, since I added speech bubbles to the drawing, making the boys even weirder. I made them all speak like Kaldur, and I made the writing all girly. I was so going to make copies and post them everywhere at my party! The boys will never live that down!

"Yes. We all should be. When she cackles, it can only mean something evil!" Dom said, pausing the game and hopping up, which threw Artemis off of him, and jumping over the couch. I shrieked and ran away, dodging his arms that tried to steal my notebook. Artemis looked pissed that Dom had thrown her off, so I threw her the notebook, and she took a look. And she ended up laughing like me! We were the cackling queens!

"SHIT!" Bryon said, getting up with Roy, who both drove at Artemis, who tossed me the notebook again and dodged them both. They got up and shook their heads, as they had crashed into each other. Artemis jumped over them and joined me in the hallway, laughing at the picture. We ran into the kitchen, almost bumping into Megan, who was holding flour. That would have been bad.

"Artemis, grab the flour!" I yelled, smirking evilly. Megan didn't even ask, just handing it to her without question. My mother grabbed her wooden spoon of death and glared menacingly at me, yet again. I handed her my notebook, just as the guys ran in. And I do mean guys, as in all of them. Artemis just stared at my mother while throwing the flour all over the guys while keeping a completely straight face.

"Tere, you should have added blush lines to the drawing." Was all my mother said before she stepped out.
