Lady Arryn had lead him to a small room in the family suite of Tower, Tywin knew this room of course for it was a room which he himself had once had in use, as a of the bedrooms for his children when they had visited him during his own tenure as Hand.
Now though, it looked very changed and he was only truly sure about which exact room it was by the placement of the window to the door.

Now the room was holding only a couple of chairs with blue and rose stripped upholstery, a few small sidetables and a large casket, all made from light colored wood instead of the richly golden decorated bed and desk and other furniture made from cherrywood that were in here when he had been the Lord Hand.

And not only the furniture had completely changed, the colors of the walls, the carpet beneath his feet, a tapestry at the Wall, it all look very much different.

The last time he had been inside of the private suite of the Tower of the Hand, had been when he himself had been the Hand after all and everything had been red and gold and dark wood.

This room here had now a leaf-green carpet without any ornaments, the walls all done in sky blue and with a cream-white ceiling.

The tapestry was in different tones of blue and white, showing falcons flying around the Eyrie in a full moon night.

It was finally made, from all that he could see but he really cared not much about right now, not when he had other things to do.

"Please Lord Lannister, take a seat if you will, we can talk better with each other if we are both sitting.

He turned to her, look at her a bit back an unfriendly comment about he really had no interest to speak to her right now.
He reminded himself that he was in the capital to make sure that all the stupid blundering and mistakes which his daughter had made in her years as a Queen would have to be corrected and that this Lady Arryn could be helpful for this, not to forget that this young woman was currently the second highest standing Lady of the Realm and he, Tywin would definitely treat her with the respect that the position of her husband gave her.

And so he took a seat in one of the elegant chairs made from light wood, watched as she took her seat directly opposite of him, just a small table between them now, onto which a servant now put down a tray with refreshments.

"Thank you Rose, you may go now. Please let it be known that I do not want to be disturbed now." asked the Lady Arryn of her servant and the girl nodded, curtsied and left, closing the door behind herself.

"Lady Arryn, with all due respect, I do not make the journey to the capital for this." Tywin knew that his voice sounded as impatient as he himself was, but he could not help it in the moment. This all annoyed him in the moment.

"Do you recognize this room, Lord Lannister, or even remember it?" asked the the young Lady Arryn in a light voice.

"I do," answered Tywin, " though it looked of course different during my time as Lord Hand. I also do currently have no further interest about this room, seeing as I came here for more important reasons."

She smiled at him, at his rather biting answer.

"It was a very pretty room, still in the colors of your House, even though the Hands after all changed a few of the other rooms of course, or maybe the Mad King had ordered the other rooms changed. But this room was still in red and gold and dark when I came here. For the first few years, not even I cared much about it, for we had more than enough other rooms in the private suite and I had no living children.

I had this room changed after my daughters had been born alive, had all of your furniture put into a storage here in the Keep and had everything done to like it is now. The tapestry took me a bit longer if course, I had finally finished it by the time when I gave birth to my second son."

Tywin grumbled.

She smiled gently at him.

"You ask yourself why I am telling you this and you have told endure me, when all you want to do is to speak with the Queen. Am I not right, Lord Lannister?" she asked with understand but also mirth in her Voice.

He looked sharply at her for these words.

" My sweet husband and I do not have any secrets to each other, neither in the private nor about dangers to the Realm and the problems of the Queen and the King, which can be become dangerous for the Realm, can not even be called secrets for they are out in the open for all to see."

Tywin's eyes narrowed at these words. This little woman dared to trail into things about which she should not speak.

"Lady Arryn, to speak about the problems of the Royal couple as dangerous is not something that you as just the wife of the Lord Hand should do. And your husband should definitely know better to tell you about state secrets."

"You have never spoken with your dearly beloved wife about worrisome things when you were the Lord Hand and your wife was still alive, Lord Lannister? I found that curious, for everybody who had known the most honorable Lady Lannister had spoken full of admiration about her smart mind and political interests, just as much as everyone had spoken about her beauty, her kindness and her piety."

Tywin felt his anger rising. This girl was clearly baiting him to show emotion and he knew it but he still could not back down, he knew that he was showing emotion, was showing weakness now, but damn this former Trout girl, the loss of his Joanna still hurt after all these years.

"I care not to speak with you about my wife, even though she was all the things she is still known for, but I do not will speak with you about her. And I am not here to amuse you Lady Arryn, I am here to solve some problems, so if you will excuse me, I have to talk with the Queen."

He knew that he sounded petulant but this young woman was very good at finding the exact words to stir up his anger.

"Oh, but I want to talk with you about our dear Queen my Lord, I really want to and I need to, for the Queen is not only in a problematic position, she is also not doing anything to find a way out of it but instead she seems more than happy to make it even worse."

He looked now closely at her. She looked right back at him, his hazel eyes meet her clear blue eyes and she did not even flinch like to many others would do.

"You better explain yourself Lady Arryn, before I decide that not even the power of your husband save you of my wrath for speaking so slanderous about my daughter, your Queen." he said with cold anger clearly to hear in his Voice.

She smiled and looked still unafraid.
" Your daughter, Lord Lannister, denies her husband not only the right and opportunity to bed her nowadays, as everyone here at the Court knows, for everyone can hear her scream this when she is as drunken as the King himself often is, but she had also used moon tea in the past to get rid of some of the children in her womb, for whenever she and the King had fought with each other and she was pregnant at the time of the fights.

It seemed to be her way of getting revenge at her husband, though it also seemed that she either never told the King this and it was her secret revenge just for her own satisfaction or maybe she told the King and he just not cared, seeing as he now does not seem to care either anymore about his marital rights."

Tywin nearly exploded into her face, he found it tempting to jump from his place and to put his hands around her fair-skinned, elegant long and pretty neck and to squeeze so long till her mouth would stop with these lies.
But he managed, barely to behave himself and instead to answer in a bitingly cold voice.

"These are lies, Lady Arryn, lies against your Queen and slander about both the King and Queen. Does your husband know that you as his wife are such a ill-speacking and lying woman? For he will learn it soon enough."

She smiled at him, smiled at his threat, smiled at his rage and he felt the anger only risen inside of himself. Horrible woman. He would make her fall down.

"It is a true shame that the dearly admired Grandmaester Pycelle had been murdered around the time when your daughter left for the victory Tourney at Lannisport, for the dear Grandmaester would have been able to give you answers about certain small illnesses which the Queen had had after disputes with her husband in the years since she and the King had become married." answered the Lady Arryn in a honeysweet voice.

"Grandmaester Pycelle would have never done such a foul deed and I would have been informed about such a thing. And the Queen had given the King an healthy heir. You are speaking lies my Lady and I never forget anyone who speaks of does ill against my House."

"You threatening me over the truth, as sad as I feel about such a thing, you are speaking of revenge against me because I tell you the truth my Lord. If I would enjoy it to speak ill about the King of the Queen, then I would do so to everyone else but certainly not you.

But I wish only the best for the King and the Queen and so I tell all this only to you as our Queen's father. So that you might find a way to help her and thus so help this Realm.

You were the Lord Hand once, you know yourself that the security and sanity of the Royal Family is important for the security and stability of the whole Kingdoms.
All I wish for, is for the Kingdoms to be at peace, so that my family is at peace and for that, the Royal family must be safe and at peace with each other and sane.
Would you not agree with me, my Lord Lannister?"

Tywin looked at her in frustration, anger but also surprise now. His eyes searched hers for lies, his mind searched through the calm words which she spoken for lies or malicious intent ...and then he swallowed down his pride, his anger, his skepticism.

"So let us talk Lady Arryn, tell me everything that you want to tell me and I will judge afterwards if I would believe you or not."

She smiled gently once again.
"Please have some of this tisane then, Lord Lannister, it will take a while."
