Chapter 1: Unexpected Secrets.
Marinette was from a exhausting and stressful day. Her class was full with Lila's lies, Marinette has given up in convincing them that Lila was lying and soon they would see that. She had awkward moments with Adrien, firstly she fell on him, secondly bumped into him, thirdly she stumbled around him when she was trying to explain some stuff to him and he ended up asking someone else.
Marinette entered her bakery, maybe tomorrow will be better since it was her birthday tomorrow. She went to her bedroom but she heard her parents say it was a special day tomorrow, they were probably planning her birthday so she plopped on her bed and waited for sleep to drift in.
It was Marinette's birthday. Marinette woke up in a good mood, luckily she wasn't late. She took a shower and put on her original clothes and went to her kitchen to hav-

"Aw, guys you shouldn't have" Marinette hugged her parents and kissed their cheeks.
"Marinette today is a big day"
"Its just my birthday"
"No, its bigger than that, today we have come with bug news"

Why do they tell her now? she was so angry because her friends and people around her may change their behaviour around her. she knows it such a small topic to fuss over but she didn't want her friends to treat her like royalty, she wanted them to treat her like Marinette, plain, old Marinette, it was going to stay that way. She was not going to tell anyone about this, she had to keep it to herself. She wiped her tears to enter the class…..but no-one was in there-
"SURPRISE"
Marinette was surprised. Wait a minute, were they treating her different cause she was a princess. How did they know?
"Why are you doing?" She asked as she glared at her classmates.
"Um…. Cause its your birthday" she had completely forgotten about that. She was so angry she forgot about her birthday.
"Oh… thank you" the teacher announced that the gifts would be given to Marinette at lunch time.
