In the morning, everyone slowly got up and out of their tents. "Yo, Lucy-girl, how was it last night?" Justice grinningly asks Lucifer as she walked out of the Slayer's tent, clearly disheveled from the night before. "Is he everything we think he is?" Many eyes turned to face them, all curious about the previous night.
Lucifer punches her lightly on the arm, but smiles and continues, leaning in. "He's...surprisingly ordinary. If you're expecting a third leg, or anything else huge...you'd be disappointed," she says with a sigh as she remembers, smiling to herself. "Not that he isn't impressive. He is, but not like...inhumanly so. But then...he has to fit in the armor somehow, right?" She says with a chuckle. "Impressive stamina though. Like, damn can he go a long time. And over and over too. But then, if he can kill demons for days on end without sleep...is it really a surprise he can go multiple rounds in bed without getting tired? And that's without him trying. Just imagine once he's...experienced. We'll ALL be enjoying ourselves then," she says with a slight chuckle. "Or at least I hope so. Alternative is we're all too exhausted. Hopefully though," her face gets serious, but not completely so. "Assuming we can all handle him. Last thing I want is to actually DIE that way. While an interesting story, that is NOT how I want to go," she says, the others agreeing with smiles. "But to change the topic slightly...I hear I wasn't the only one, was I?" She asks with a smirk, a blush coming to Azazel's face.
"Last night was...enlightening!" The angel says with a grin and wistful look in her eyes. "I had no idea you could do all that. Elie is...quite the teacher," she says, the park ranger giving her a smile.
"You're welcome Azzy," Elie says, patting the angel's head, but soon removes her hand quickly, her smile replaced with a shocked look of concern. "Um...Azzy? You have bumps on your head, that weren't there last night," she says, brushing the angel's hair back, so all can see the 2 bumps on her head. All talk of Lucifer's past night is forgotten as everyone crowds Azazel.
"Hmmm," Lucifer says, as she touches each bump. "Hey...some of your hair's white," she says, showing everyone a few strands. "What...what's going on?" Azazel herself leaves the group to go find a mirror, so she can look for herself.
She emerges from her tent, just as the Slayer came out of his. "What's going on?" He asks, noticing everyone's concerned look, and Azazel coming out of her tent.
"Look!" The angel says, pulling her hair back, as the Slayer takes a look at what's going on, everyone crowding around them. "Hmmm...honestly, I have no idea. I can only guess, based on classical knowledge of angels and demons. What all the literature would say, as opposed to what we all actually know." The others pause, eager to hear from him. "In other words Azazel...you're falling."
"Falling? What do you mean falling?" The angel asks, but Modeus pipes up.
"It's a human thing," she explains. "Common in their religions. Mainly Christianity. Ah, the perks of being Bill's High Prophetess," she says, with extra hearts, still mostly thinking about what Lucifer and the Slayer had done the previous night, but focused herself. "Idea being that an angel can fall from grace, become corrupted. Become a demon," she explains, coming over to Azazel, and looking at her bumps. "Based on what I've heard? These COULD be horns, but yet to break through the skin. Which begs another question. One that would require you and a tent. Or out here, if you don't mind," she says, getting questioning looks. "You'll have to pull down your pants."
"You want me to WHAT?" Azazel says with a blush, but with hands on her pants anyway.
"Oh...I get it," Elie says, dragging the angel away to a tent. "Yep Modeus, your suspicion is correct," she calls out. "There's a bump there too, right above the butt. Nothing major, but if you're suspecting a tail might grow..." They both walk out of the tent, Elie giving a thumbs up. "So, yep, I can confirm. We have a possibly falling angel on our hands."
"Interesting. Though, from a biology standpoint? I think Dr. Richardson should take a look," Beelzebub says thoughtfully. "I mean, she's like the only one who actually KNOWS our biology."
"We don't have to go now though, do we?" Azazel says. "I mean...I feel fine. And it's not like you can notice them anyway. And besides...would falling hurt me? Affect me negatively?" She asks, putting fingers together. "If anything, it would help me fit in. Not be the odd one out."
"Well, it IS up to you," the Slayer says with a shrug, but with a concerned look. "But yes, we WILL have Dr. Richardson look at you. Maybe not right now, but we'll schedule something."
"Ok. I-I mean, we're all here, right? No need to ruin a good time on my account," Azazel says nervously.
"Ok, but still, if you feel ANYTHING, that isn't normal, let us know, ok?" The Slayer asks, with Azazel nodding.
After breakfast, they set out on a hike. The forest was dense, but the trail they were on was wide enough. Marauder happily trotted alongside Judgement, but with lots of stopping to sniff around. Azazel seemed particularly happy, with a bounce in her step. Modeus comes up to the Slayer.
"So I have to ask...why is it you're always wanting to DO something? I thought you'd want to say...relax, after all you've done."
The Slayer responds by sighing, and shaking his head, but answers. "Being active keeps the nightmares at bay," he explains. "Being active makes sure I don't...have an episode." he continues, with a stern look, but Modeus could tell he was holding back pain. "And before you ask, no, relaxing, trying to empty the mind, doesn't help. In fact it makes it worse. Trauma doesn't go away for an empty mind, only for a full mind. There can't be any rest for me," he explains with a ghost of sadness in his tone. "And it would not help those who believe in me, those who worship me, to see their god as a quivering, PTSD'ing, mess."
A few hours in, and they stopped to eat a picnic lunch. "You know..." Beelzebub says, sitting next to Azazel. "I TOTALLY would've bet that you'd be in complete denial about falling," she says to the angel. "Yet, you seem happier than ever."
"Well..." The angel says, looking down. "Being around you all...I've never felt...right, as an angel," she says. "Maybe, it's my origins. I mean...I am one of you all, but with Maykr interference." Her eyes grow wide as she says that. "Maybe, somehow...that's weakening? That's what's actually happening to me?" She asks, as everyone turns to her to listen. "But anyway...I never felt...right. I tried to deny it, but deep down...I couldn't. I was always out of place. And I felt more comfortable among you all, then among the Maykrs. Getting rid of the halo...was a happy moment. But this..." she touches her new forehead bumps. "This is even better. Guess I'll have to start shopping for a red and black suit huh?" She says with a laugh.
They also watched some birds as they ate their lunch. One in particular grabbed their attention, seemingly darting everywhere, faster than would be expected, even seemingly snatching up mice before they could blink. "Woah..." Cerberus says as she watches. "Is that a hawk?"
"I think so," Beelzebub says as she watches. "But something's off. It shouldn't be that fast," she continues, as the hawk perches on a branch. At one point, it turns its head to look at them, and everyone looks in awe, as they see the glowing red eyes. "I knew it! It's an Argentid!" Beelzebub says excitedly.
"Amazing," Azazel says, taking notes on the hawk's actions. "How many Argentid species do you think exist?"
"Hard to say," Cerberus says. "For all we know, any species could become an Argentid."
"Makes me wonder...what would happen if a human Argentid happens?" Lucifer asks. "That's something I could see the UAC wanting to do, let's be honest. After all...they have a history of unethical experiments."
At the mention of "human Argentid," the Slayer gives a loud cough, and raises his hand. "Do I count then?" He asks, as everyone laughs to varying degrees.
"Hey, YOU also have Maykr technology in your veins, literally," Lucifer says while laughing. "You're not PURELY supercharged by Argent. So you don't count Bill!"
"Hey, it was worth a shot," he says while laughing, as they all pack up. The rest of the hike, they saw more birds, some that were suspected to be Argentids. They took as many pictures as they could, marking the locations so the proper scientists could come and study them.
Once they got back that night, after dinner, they were all relaxing, when Elie checks up on them, but another car shows up at a nearby campsite, with a bunch of guys piling out, being loud and obnoxious, and wanting to investigate the Slayer and the girls. Elie turns a shade paler as she sees what seems to be the ringleader. "Hey babe, I told you that you couldn't get away from me," he says, a bit drunkenly.
"Damien, go away," Elie says, backing away. "I told you to go to hell once. Shame they didn't actually take you," she spits out, as his friends start to approach the camp.
"And who's your new friends?" He asks, as he lecherously eyes up all the former Daughters of Hell. "You should introduce us. The boys will take such good care of them," he says as his friends get closer. "Triplets! Fun!" one of them says while approaching Cerberus.
The Slayer could sense what was happening, and comes up to Damien, anger clear in his face, but the Beast was not yet fully awake. "Leave. Now," he says in a low growl, fists clenching as he looked down at Damien. Sure, Damien looked tough, and imposing, and likely would scare most people. But the Slayer wasn't sure he could even BE intimidated anymore, after all he's done.
"Back off big guy, you can't handle all these ladies," Damien says, drawing a gun, as the rest of the guys grab the girls, ready to drag them away, and/or rape them.
"Wrong move," the Slayer says, grabbing Damien's wrist and wrenching the gun away with the other hand. He turns to help the girls, only to see the situation was handled. Pandemonica was in sadistic mode, having bent her would-be captor's fingers backwards, causing the man to cry out. Modeus had summoned her hammer, breaking the knees of her own captor. Cerberus had ganged up on the guy that was approaching her, 2 of her bodies each grabbing an arm, while the third was stepping on his legs. Malina on the other hand had punched her own brute, who was out cold on the ground. Zdrada's guy was doubled over, clutching his crotch in intense pain, even throwing up, while Zdrada herself was smirking over him. Azazel was standing over her captor, sword pressed to his neck, fire in her eyes, and the Slayer thought he saw the bumps on her head growing bigger. Justice meanwhile had also knocked out her man, a few punches to the gut had put him down. Lucifer had given a hard roundhouse kick to her guy, who was clearly dazed from the blow. Judgement had her situation well in hand. The guy who had chosen her was on the ground, bound tightly by her summoned chains. But he wasn't struggling to get out. Even as a puppy, Marauder had already clamped his jaws around the thug's throat. Beelzebub's guy meanwhile had dozens of flies surrounding him, all buzzing around, some even landing on him and biting him. Damien looked at his henchmen in shock, jaw hanging open. "Who...who are you people?" He asks, tough guy facade starting to crack.
The Slayer only laughs. An unholy laugh that caused those still conscious to widen their eyes in a primal fear, and the Slayer thought he smelled the signs of pants needing change. "Who am I? I am the suffering of the innocent," he says as he leans closer to Damien, evil grin all over his face, while meanwhile, he was cueing up some subtle metal to play, to further help the mood, and further terrify Damien. "I am the unjust pain, given flesh. When humanity cries out for help, I am the answer," he says with a growl, as Damien's tough guy facade gets weaker and weaker, but the Slayer just backs him into a tree, holding him there. "I am MORE than a man. I am the most dangerous being in this, or any other, universe. I am a god that walks among mortals, shielding them from the darkness," he contiues getting louder, as he places one hand behind his back, summoning the Diabolical Musket. "For those who've tasted the bite of MY sword," he quotes his own Testament, brandishing his favorite shotgun for Damien to see, meathook opening. Damien's eyes get as wide as saucers once he sees the weapon, as while he had suspected his attacker's identity, the twin barrels dominating his vision only proved it. "Named me," the Slayer continues, removing his hand so he could load shells into the gun, aiming it at Damien, just as he whispers the next line, so well known among humanity by now that all knew it by heart. The line that caused fear in all who heard it, even the girls seemed afraid by now. "The Doom Slayer," he finishes, just as Damien passes out from fear, which did not help his terrified cronies, those who were still awake.
"You all," He says as he turns to them. "Take your friends, and GET OUT," he barks. "I don't want to see, or hear, you around this area ever again. Or bothering Elie," he adds, and as the girls let them go, the awake ones rush to grab Damien and their unconscious friends, practically seeming to floor the pedal as they drove away.
"Wow..." Elie says, amazed by what she just saw. "That was the most fear I've ever seen in him," she says as everyone sits back down around the fire. "And the rest of you? I figured Judgement could fight, but the rest? Do all demons know how to kick ass?"
"Instinctively? No," Lucifer explains with a smile, as she wraps her arms around the Slayer's. "But we...have a good teacher," she says as she cozies up to him.
"Well sir, you are something else," Elie says, still in amazement. "So...is all that true? 'God that walks among mortals', 'suffering of the innocent', and all that?" she asks. "Or was that a scare tactic?"
The Slayer responds with a small laugh. "All of the above," he says. "When you've done as much as I have, fought for all the same reasons I have, fought the kinds of enemies I have...you too would likely consider yourself to be all of that," He continues. "As for why they live? Well...I'll admit. I've fought FOR humanity for so long. Thousands of years or so, trust me at my age...you lose track," he says with a chuckle. "It becomes hard to justify actually taking another human life, ever again."
"Understandable," Elie says, as the girls get ready for bed, Elie soon doing the same. The Slayer soon went to his own tent, and was mildly surprised when Lucifer came to join him.
"That...was so hot," she says as she puts her arms around his neck. "I don't know why, but you terrifying a tough punk just...got me going. I need you," she says as she kisses him.
"I know," he responds during the kiss. "Somehow, the fact that you all defend yourself, can kick that much ass..." he doesn't finish, but he didn't need to, as she could feel what he would say, pressing against her leg.
"No holding back now," she purrs into his ear. "Make me scream. Show the world the kind of fucking only a god and demon can do together," she nibbles his ear, feeling him swell down there as she said that. "Wow, someone got excited," she says, even as he growls, starting to tear at her clothes.
"New fetish discovered," he says with a growl. "The thought that we're both superhuman, and can do things regular humans can't, without holding back. A chance to cut loose and go all out," he continues as the dampness between Lucifer's legs only grew as her clothes were torn, and she responds by doing the same to him.
"Only issue will be if the others hear, and/or can't sleep because of it," she says as the amount of visible skin on them both grows.
"Do I look like someone who gives a fuck?" The Slayer responds with a growl. "Oh I have plenty of fucks, and they'll likely get some at some point, but right now, you're getting all of them," he says as he kisses her, and the hours filled with moans, and even a lot of screams, many of the girls listening in, Modeus even rubbing her own legs together at the sounds of the couple inside, wishing she could peek inside, to see what was happening. Azazel as well was also curious, seeming to get a bit too excited before rushing off to her tent, and soon, it seemed as if her own moans were getting loud as well.
