I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER ANYTHING

I am only writing the story.

The story immediately after Deathly Hollows ends in the headmistress office.

Chapter 1

After Harry, Ron and Hermione had ended their conversation about the Elder Wand, they headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. When they were right near the entrance to the hall.

Harry turned and mumbled to Hermione and Ron, "I...er...have to go to the..um..restroom."

Ron kept walking but Hermione hesitated, rested an hand on his arm and said, "Harry, don't run away. This is not your fault. They died because they wanted to make a better world for everyone that would live. If they were here they would much rather have Voldemort dead then there own lives. Don't run Harry you did it when Sirius died and your doing it now."

Even though Harry knew Hermione was right he was scared. Scared that when he walked inside that hall Molly Weasley, the person that loved and cared for him like a son would look at him and hate him for being the reason that her real son, Fred, was dead. He was scared that Ginny, the women he loves, will be mad at him for breaking up with him and furious that her brother died for him. He was heartbroken that a boy, Teddy Lupin, was now an orphan.

Harry was pushed into the hall by Hermione, head hung low, hot and sweaty with nervousness. When he stepped in all conversation, sobbing and whispers stoped and the hall erupted into applause and cheers. Harry looked up only to be enveloped in a bone crushing hug by Mrs. Weasley. She didn't hate him. She still loved him. Harry happily expected the hug.

"I'm so sorry... for everything that—"

"Stop, none of this your fault it's Vol..Voldemort's fault, so stop. You are my son, biological or not," she interrupted. When she pulled away Harry could see the tears in her eyes. Before she let others at him she looked him down checking for injuries.

The next redhead that through themselves at him was Ginny Weasley. Instead of a hug, she shoved him so hard that he feel backwards into the wall of the Great Hall. Her eyes were filled with anger and tears.

"If you ever leave me again—"

"Gin—"

"— I will hunt you done and knock you senseless."

"I am so sorry. I will never ever leave you again. I am so sorry," Harry said this as he pulled himself up off the ground, his hands up in a gesture of surrender. Then she had her arms around his waist and her head against his chest. Harry took up her hug burying his face into her hair. She then looked up and kissed him with all the passion that had built up over the last year.

"Oi, break it up," Ron was shouting.

Harry pulled away and said, "Gin, are you okay."

"Yes. More then okay," she whispered looking up at him with love and loss in her eyes.

Over the next half an hour Harry was given a collection of hugs, pats on the back and ruffled hair. The whole of the wizarding world was rejoicing and morning death.

Even though Voldemort was dead Harry was still in danger because Death Eaters and Voldemort supporters were still alive and mad at Harry Potter The Boy Who Lived Twice.

When everyone was done congratulating him, Harry had a good look around the Great Hall. It seamed like the Healers had taken the critical patients to St. Mungo's, injured but less critical patients to the hospital wing and everyone else went home, stayed in the Great Hall or in their dorms. Harry was dragged onto a bench at one of the tables by Ginny.

While they were eating, Andromeda Tonks burst into the hall carrying a small bundle of screaming blankets that was Teddy yelling,"WHARE IS SHE? WERE IS MY DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND!" The first person to comfort the hysterical old women was Mrs. Weasley. When she heard the devastating news of her daughter and son-in-law's death she broke down into another round of sobs.

When she finished sobbing she slowly, supported by Mrs. Weasley, made her way over to Harry. When she reached him she said it a shaky voice through muffled sobs, "Harry, my daughter and her husband died to make a better world for Teddy to grow up in. I am a old woman and can't raise Teddy and care for him the way he needs. You are his godfather, you have to take care of him. I would like to spend a week with him so you can prepare and I can say my goodbyes." She then tipped the small bundle into his arms. Harry looked down at the baby boy. He had a tuft of hair that was slowly shifting from a soft turquoise to the same blonde brown hair as his father's on his head. Other then his nose which was his mother's, he was the spitting image of his father, without the scars of course. Harry thought that if he was able to kill the most powerful evil wizard of all time that he would be able to raise a small baby. Before Harry had even adjusted to the weight of the small boy Ginny was all over him. Harry had thought that Ginny might not want to help him raise Teddy but it all went away when he saw her holding and bouncing the small boy. Harry thought that she would be a great mother one day.

Even through Harry's protest Mrs. Weasley forced him to stay at the Burrow for as long as he needed to. Harry was happy for the first time without knowing that their was someone out their that wants him dead. He was raising his godson, dating the love of is life and had a family that loved him. He had a place to sleep where he was wanted.
